On the topic of the Chinese exporting goods globally, let’s talk drones.
China was selling drones to Ukraine – drones which Ukraine repurposed to kill Russian troops – until incessant American bleating made China publicly announce a drone export restriction to both Ukraine and Russia. That, of course, did not make Ukraine stop its accusations of China being responsible for arming Russia, as recently as a few days back (Al Jazeera and the Kyiv Independent).
China has even said bluntly, on January 2025, that “if China had really provided military supplies to Russia, the situation on the battleground would not have been where it is now” (Global Times). Harsh words for a friend of Russia, as it seems to insinuate either Russian military impotence or incompetence.
Did all of that change Russia’s stance towards China? Putin is one of the most West-friendly Russian leader (Putin wanted to join NATO), and in many ways, he still is despite being repeatedly betrayed by the West. But even Putin has the political acumen to stand together with China against hegemonic bullying (Al Jazeera, 8 May 2025). The Economist, of course, begs to differ: Xi Jinping has Vladimir Putin over a barrel, May 12th 2025. Like Trump, the Economist hopes to “un-unite” Russia and China by portraying the relationship between the two countries as unequal. The West, which includes MAGA (this shouldn’t need to be said but I know MoA’s audience too well), hate the sight of China and Russia together. If only they could be divided, they would be so easy to conquer!
The leader of the country with the most Muslims in the world, Indonesia, just praised China for being consistent in its support for Palestine two days ago. Both Indonesia and Malaysia, another Muslim-majority country in ASEAN, have always said that they support a two-state solution, a position that is also held by China. I’m quite sure Western liberals will have zero hesitation in condemning these countries, but why aren’t Palestinians speaking up against the treacherous snakes that are China, Indonesia and Malaysia for supporting a two-state solution instead of a one-state solution with equal rights for Palestinians and former Israelis?
China has relations with both Ansarallah a.k.a. the Houthis and the official UN-recognized government of Yemen. I am on the record on MoA for “defending” Turkey against accusations that it enabled Assad’s collapse by arming and funding HTS – my position is that Turkey’s role is inconsequential when compared against the West. The comments here show that even the most “fringe” politics in the West have the same end goal as mainstream politics of upholding imperialism.
Putin loves the West too much, or is perhaps too modest, when he only mentioned that Ukraine needed denazification. The entirety of the West needs denazification.

At this point, it seems likely enough this is meant as a personal accusation, complete with the threat to send me to Hell. Here is another reason we cannot expect much from Russia regarding the Gaza horror:
Putin welcomes Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Saudi based Govt. of Yemen to the Kremlin. There is no mention of the Houthis in his welcome. He also informs us that about 1500 Yemenis are studying in Russia (presumably Al-Alimi sponsored students). Putin is only interested in Russia successfully holding an Arab Summit in Moscow in October. Russia’s policies only concern Russia. The next post in the RT Telegram channel is about Chile recalling its military attaches from Israel, probably as a prelude to a full diplomatic break. Will Russia do something similar? Fat chance!

I was back in MIlanówek around 4.30 with some of the things. I was tired and went to bed (it was very hot). Around 6 o’clock Wiwa arrived with Krysia O.101 I had been waiting for her for so long and so impatiently, and finally, after 34 months in Pawiak jail, she’s free. I’m deeply moved. The night’s long and we talk.

Thursday, 17 September
At 7.12, we are on the electric train for Malichy,95 and thence at 10.30 continue on foot via Reguły, Opocz [Opacz], Raków, Ursus, Gołąbki, and Chrzanów to Jelonki, a total distance of about 17 km. We get everything ready for the journey, allocating duties to the staff, drawing up a list of patients, etc. Unfortunately, we have trouble with getting horses, so we have to requisition them.
Mrs Łyżwańska arrives at 2.30, but it isn’t until 4.30 that we manage to acquire two carts. It’s a procession of people on foot and in the carts, a total of about a hundred persons. We are constantly being stopped (four times in fact) and required to produce our credentials. Mrs Łyżwańska with the permit is on the first cart. I am at the head of the marching column. We reach Raków at six and start putting the patients on the train. Right then, one of the patients dies . . ..
