2 things have changed, which give me hope:
1. China banned export of rare earth minerals *needed* to build modern weapons & smart phones, plus ban on sale of “dual use” stuff, such as components. Sooner or later Trump & Co will come to understand, if they haven’t already, that the US lacks both the capacity & know-how to extract & refine said minerals. 2. Pakistan’s wiping out half a dozen India’s fighter jets with its Chinese fighter planes, Chinese trained pilots + Chinese sat intel in a single matchup provided a realtime example of Chinese capabilities. Publishing online the recording of Indian pilots screaming demonstrated mastery of pr messaging.
Hopefully sooner, rather than later, even Israel will run out.

We don’t really know what Trump might or might not be trying to do with Occupied Palestine.
Is Trump playing 4D chess and misleading Netanyahu with a warm White House reception, or he a mediocrity controlled by Zionists ? Let me list the relevant facts.
1. Trump grew up surrounded by Jews and Zionists. He knows them almost from the inside out. But this is anodyne. I’ve known businessmen who worked with – and sometimes got screwed by – Jews, and who resent their arrogant and unscrupulous ways. And some goyim just suck it up and smile all the while. In short, it’s anodyne information.
2. If Trump were to seriously oppose the Zionist project even a little bit, Trump could find himself JFK’d. As some serious people think will happen, and Zionists are just one vector.
There is at least one Israeli agent assigned to each Congress critter, and BTW there’s also a foreign agent in the bushes, curating each of the 50 state legislatures. Of course the 56 deep knee bends done in Congress when Netanyahu addressed them in July 2024 was designed to be the demonstrative “cherry on the top” of Jewish Power. So Trump could be completely screwed if he steps out of line. Conclusion on my Point 2 is that Trump is forced to stay within the Zionist Overton Window, but maybe that window can be jimmied open a little bit. The main lesson here is that the American, citizens in a democracy, have a grave duty to open the Overton Window, or to smash it. No one else will do it for us. But we have some big advantages, like unrestricted Freedom Of Speech, which no other nation on earth has. So of course the Zionists are trying to take that freedom away, and that’s our first line of defense, the thing we need to defend with the highest priority. All the SOB’s in Congress who pushed to criminalize free speech all need a serious ass-kicking so they won’t try that again. Not armchair pissed-off nothingness, but rather an new powerful movement to defend the First Amendment and get the traitors removed from office.
3. Trump withdrew the aircraft carriers and called off the attack on Yemen only because the US Navy was getting its ass kicked and it would be very bad for the projection of US military power if Yemen were to further destroy the image of US supremacy. Trumps visit to the Arab countries had nothing to do with it. Saudi Arabia was providing vital logistical support to one of the two carrier task forces from a port on the northern end of the Red Sea. The lesson of my Point 3 is that the late Chairman Mao was correct: Power grows out of the gun. Diplomacy does not count, not yet anyway.
4. There is the question of Trump’s competency and for that I look away from the Zionists, to how poorly Trump has conducted his tariff war. Trump is incompetent, although that’s not a full explanation. Raising tariffs is a major part of MAGA, and some serious people think Trumps team were working on it for years. So there was no excuse for starting off so badly. That tends to put a damper on the 4C chess theory, but perhaps Trump is focused on “Israel” more than the economy. Multi-tasking is a bitch.
5. Trump’s indecision about continuing the proxy war in Ukraine is linked to support for Israel< but inversely. As long as the US is up to its elbows in the Ukraine swamp, it can't do the big suicidal war on Iran that the Zionist overlords want. Maybe that's by design. 6. Someone said that Trump's task is to manage the decline of the Empire. To me, that means a soft landing that isn't catastrophic for the world and for that he/we have the full support of Russia and China who understand what's going on and are organized to actively help with the soft landing - unlike the Global South. Western MSM news websites that carry stories of Israel’s ongoing genocide of the Palestinians also have a a “Trending Now” or “Popular Now” list of news stories on the front page (sometimes even providing the number of visitors currently reading each article).
But none of these “popular” stories are ever about Gaza/Palestine because people have either become tired/bored with the topic or they were never interested and/or didn’t care to begin with (perhaps because it wasn’t THEIR children and loved ones who were being exterminated).
Imagine if the MSM, instead of continuing to print “boring” stories, suddenly-and-with-no-explanation decided to publish close-up photos of dead toddlers whose bodies have been ripped in half by bomb blasts, or the mutilated remains of a headless child lying in a pool of blood.
How would the public respond? Would they, in their horror, demand an immediate end to the genocide? Or would they, in their horror, demand an immediate end to the photographs?
I’m guessing the overwhelming majority of responses would be along these lines: “These photos are pure evil: a painfully shocking assault on my tender sensibilities! I have MORALS, you know! NO MORE PHOTOS!” (in other words, “Ripping children to pieces is okay — just don’t show me the photos.”) How sick & twisted is a response like that?

Rhode Island city council now flying Palestine flag
The city hall of Rhode Island state capital Providence is flying the Palestinian flag, both atop the building and in its council chamber, triggering a meltdown among the US Israel lobby.
The council’s chamber usually displays the American flag, Rhode Island’s state flag and the flag of the city of Providence, but now has the Palestinian flag right next to the seat of the council president. Providence mayor Brett Smiley, who recently travelled to Israel on a lobby-funded trip, disavowed the decision, blaming the council for it. However, the city council told local press that Smiley had approved the flag.
The Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island, which paid for Smiley’s junket, expressed its outrage at the ‘divisiveness’ of commemorating the Nakba, the 1948 ‘catastrophe’ in which around 800,000 Palestinians were violently driven from their homes and land by British and Zionist forces to create the state of Israel, with massacres and mass rapes.

I keep asking myself – how is the complicity of the entire world in the systematic destruction of Palestinians possible? How can this be? How can one live with this, go to sleep and wake up day after day to unchecked mass murder of unarmed, starved and caged civilians, more horrific with each day?

I don’t really have a leader, that simplifies. I never elected anyone and my nationality I cannot renounce. I relate to ‘these people’ as I would to any other, meaning without illusion or prejudice as far as possible…what they are, which is their problem if it were one.
I also spent a long while writing in reply to your previous post but not finished, same for Arch. These are essays so maybe for open thread at some point, or else just exercise at honing down own perception.
