I agree. But don’t ignore the EU here: the US has greater wealth and resources than Europe, and will survive longer. The US may well be fucked, but Europe (and the UK) is well and truly fucked. Praise the Lord. Precisely, it is a dependent variable, as Anonymous will be the first to tell you. Therefore, it is dependent on multiple independent variables, such as the Russian strategy of attrition (de-militraization), or the weather, force ratios, third-party support, domestic support, and other elements. And the fact he only uses one source – Deep State. It’s good to include other sources, especially if the only source you use is heavily biased in one direction, to at least show the counterarguments, or the baseline. But that’s Anonymous, he’ll never change. Posted by: arthur brogard | Apr 8 2025 4:36 utc | 224 When not bashing VVP as an authoritarian thug, cooler-headed commentators have over the years described VVP’s style of rule in more pragmatic terns: as that of a fund manager, in which ambitious officials pitch rival plans to the boss in the hope he will buy in. Oligarchs and industrialists, for instance, often take responsibility for various Kremlin-aligned projects, whether bankrolling infrastructure or overseeing initiatives in the regions. The Trump administration tolerates this kind of behavior and rhetoric, keeps the weapons & dollars flowing, and smiles through the insults. That tells you everything about their commitment to this war. There’s not going to be any ceasefires or frozen frontlines. The US are all-in and even let Zelensky spit in their faces. Just as I said: this ends on the battlefield.
