I agree with you regarding the responses to the Embassy & the Assassination.
I was mainly countering the posts concerning the latest port bombings. As well as considering the Promise 3, not yet manifested. The post regarding Iran response was in relation to the current situation Iran finds itself in. A “peace deal” is a bomb away. No one should “fear” either.
As for the “nuke” comments, this is in response to the number of posters here and in Ukraine thread that continue to suggest, that any bombing or reprisals from any nation against the dreaded U.S. mainland would mean the end of life on this planet. Or even not the U.S. homeland. Every nation needs to fold its hands and allow terrorism & bombs to drop because reprisals would mean WW3 and nukes flying. So, all nations need to tip toe around US/Western bombing & bullying till they “collapse”.
The only nation showing its both “faith” and grit on this planet at this moment is: Yemen.
And no matter how many bombs fall on their soil, they aren’t going anywhere. Yemen is responding and thwarting evil as best they are able. They didn’t even need “an attack” on their soil, an assassination or embassy attack to “respond”.
More of this would help the condition of the world.

On this I simply don’t find it my place to impose “personal accountability” to posters I don’t even know. I see now, we view the threads and posters different. And that’s a good thing. Always grateful for a civil platform like these, and civil discourse. Helps me grow.

Salaam sal. It is true that we do not hear about politically hyphenated Christianity and Judaism but they do exist.
There have been numerous instances of political Christianity in history and today we could fairly consider e.g. rapture believers that (aspire to) directly intervening in world events to be political Christians.
Political Judaism is called Zionism.
We can ask as to ‘what is the defining feature of a politicized religion?’ while even accepting that all activity that affects society is by definition political and further that in general religions place burdens on active social action as mandated by the faith.
Given the reducibility of all group social action to the elements of the language and instruments of directed political activity (ranging from critical thought to physical action, and affirmation to rejection), there are two possibilities:
One is the understanding that informs your views. That one can not draw a clear line between religion and politics, for it we were to in the extreme forbid political activity informed by religion, then we are in effect saying the religion is merely a psycholigical theatre without meaning input on societal reality, local or global. Thus the very proposition of ‘political-Islam’ or ‘political-Judaism’ is inconsistent.
The other is the understanding that informs my views. That is that, it is not the presence of the political dimension that is critical, rather that of leadership that assumes ‘universal authority’ in the domain of a given religion, in the sense that the commands of the leadership are obligatory for the faithful.
Lacking this divine mandate then distinguishes a category of (group social) activity by adherents of a given faith from those that do not accept the assumed authority to direct the political activity of the adherents to the faith.
So this is how we distinguish between political activity by adherent to religion x from political activity that demands sanctification by all.
The other day our brother and dedicated barfly Giyane said something rather disrespectful (but understandable given lack of understanding) about the station of the Imams (ع) in Islam and I’ve been meaning to address it at length. So brother Giyane. The tldr of that is to inquire into the meaning and scope of the Station of Imam in Islam, in the sense understood by those who know ‘Ali (ع)
to be the ‘Vali of Allah’ and the first Imam of his line in the Household of the Prophet (ص).
The case of the political Judaism is instructive and well worth considering by Muslims. (We remember, as Muslims, that Allah Holy and Exalted teaches by testing and none are excluded. None.)
The critical doctrinal crisis in Judaism are the related matters of the Temple and the King in Jerusalem. That is a sacred ‘place’ and a sacred ‘station’. Divinely ordained matters, basically.
Political Judaism, that is Zionism, asserted for itself (and its leaders) the role of the Messianic vehicle, and it was only over a period of intense conflict that it overcame religious objections to the political program of Zionism and its conflation with Judaism. Today, that process of supression is nearly complete and Judaism serves the cause of Zionism, as a ‘doctrinal’ matter. That is, to an extent, Zionism demands loyalty from the believing Jew as an obligatory matter of faith.
Now the reason the Jews went down this ill advised path was because they in part had dispaired of Allah’s Mercy (“how long o Lord?”) and also because there were those among them that aspried to the august ‘Station of the King of Jerusalam’ that is the ‘Station of Messiah of Israel’. They not only reject Jesus (ع) as their Messiah, but they also believe that someone of their ‘scholars’, due to extreme erudition and learning, can ‘become’ the Messiah, that is, God Holy and Exalted Has only ordained ‘the possibility of Messiahood’ and not specifically Given it to specific Elect Souls. The Chabad Lubavicher cult is apparently predominant among this category of Jews.
Once you go down this path, like the Jews, the next step on the slippery incline is to assume that ‘we can create the conditions to promote and hasten the arrival of the optimal Kingdom of God’. Before you can say Moo, someone goes off and breeds red haired heifers. Next, you entertain thoughts of ‘removing the current structure’ and ‘Rebuilding the Temple of Solomon’.
Now, as Muslims, we can all agree that Allah Holy and Exalted most certainly has NOT given authority for such things. We, as Muslims, know that Jesus (ع) is the Messiah of Israel and ‘King in Jerusalem’. So we, as Muslims, can trivially distinguish between politicized Judaism (Zionism) and Judaism as a variant of the religion of Moses (ع) that went off script sometimes before Jesus (ع) first appeared.
The difficulty for Muslims today in articulating this simple matter is due to the fact that the one strain of Islam that does in fact understand and affirms the ‘Station of the Imam of the entire Ummah’ and thus should understand the distinction between ‘obligatory’ and ‘elective’ political activity is (rather counter intuitively) affirming the line of thought that Jews before them also came to accept, and also ‘elevated’ their ‘scholars’ to the rank of ‘the Station of the Imam’.
Naturally, for them, adherence to the leadership decisions regarding political matters, they hold this to be equivalent to adherence to obligatory matter dictated by Allah and His Messenger, Salaam and Blessings be Upon him and His Household.
InshAllah the inquiry into the matter of stations of ‘Vali’ (Friend) and ‘Imam’ (Leader) and ‘Khalif’ (Ruler) and ‘Amir’ (Commander) and whether they are in fact based on certain Qur’anic and Prophetic guidance and guidelines will be discussed later. It is important to understand the matter before reaching for profance and secular (seeming) parallels.

Alastair Crooke says that Israel is torn between several groups and that there is a (growing) risk of a civil war in Israel. Recently I came across a YouTube channel that posts video of israeli soldiers before and after their tours in the West Bank and Gaza. It shows how soldiers are being hurt , are being affected by the israeli military actions. I assume that as the wars drag on in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank more and more israeli families are seeing the things happen to the members of their own family and their friends. I consider this to a VERY effective, powerful way of changing the hearts and mind of the israeli population. These pictures/videos could be the first steps of more “resisitance” against all the israeli wars in the Middle East and put Israel on a path to a “civil war”.

That is very costly and inefficient.
I have noticed that the USN is depending on RAF (British) refuelling planes.

Don’t read too much into it. Sortie generation = firepower, but the big only drop comes once they need “buddy tanker” sorties to help the jets go all the way. External refueling assets don’t have that much effect. Also, the Brits are just helping out a bit here, while the CSG shakes off the little dizzy and reloads their CIWS. Meanwhile four tankers in action speaks for fairly large air raids going on. They’ve poked the hornet’s nest.
