An occupation army. Or a collaboration government’s one (now wonder they also have a resistance army.).

Posted by: Savonarole | Mar 28 2025 16:30 utc | 5

Lebanon’s government was “selected” by the Americans to act as an expressly Israel-friendly entity, with the specific mission of policing the territory south of the Litani river to prevent any overt Hezbollah activity. Competent empire managers might see utility in enforcing adherence to ceasefire terms they themselves authored and guaranteed, to lend legitimacy to its pliable regime. Instead, Israel has been permitted to violate the terms of the ceasefire at will.
US diplomatic envoy Witkoff, speaking with Tucker Carlson, suggested that Lebanon’s new government was prepared to move swiftly forward with a formal “normalization” agreement with Israel, which in his mind would trigger a flood of similar formalities across the region. Lebanon’s government was forced, in response, to publicly remind the Americans that no such agreement was possible while Israel constantly violated the ceasefire. That was a few days ago, and now Israel has bombed Beirut. The Trump admin officials appear completely oblivious to the consequences of their own clumsy efforts, which stem from their inability to adduce the facts on the ground and instead accept Israel’s self-defence narrative at face value.

Posted by: Arch Bungle | Mar 28 2025 15:24 utc | 3
An army that looks after its own interests in a very, very tough neighborhood. Whatever happens in that region, Israel looks like it will “win” because it, literarly, terrorizes the region with its immense power. Not only is Israel packed with lethality but it controls the seat of Empire in Washington–even though that Empire is unravelling. The fact that Israel slaughters Palestinians easily and is, clearly a neo-Nazi state that has full support of its citizen in its treatment of non-Jews in the region as nothing more than animals or bugs to be stamped out is almost incredible. Not a peep out of the Europeans who are always posturing as “moral” (not just the government but the citizenry as well) and clearly are just collaborators to genocide. Very little out of the USA where information about Israel is censored and modified by the propaganda organs (none of the mainstream from MSNBC to Fox have any consistent critique for Israel). So Israel call the tune and Lebanon and the other “Islamic” states around the world dance.
I see no possibility of any solution other than the eventual creation of “Greater Israel” with full Western support. In the West and, apparently, in the Islamic world, there is no morality not only on the level of “the State” but in the citizenry as well. Might makes right in today’s world and Israel clearly has that on many levels from culture to the use of force.
Best thing for the Palestinians is to leave because it is futile to hope that anyone in any part of the world (other than Houthis) though Iran may be forced to care, if they are attacked–my guess is that they’ll just stand down and do what the US wants them to do. Other scenarios may arise from the unpredictable Trump–we’ll just have to see.

What is Qatargate ?

Posted by: Giyane | Mar 28 2025 17:41 utc | 11

The economic war of Ansar’Allah is going well. USA is looking increasingly powerless and is more and more turning inward. Yemen and Iran have more mountains than the USA has B2s. As these cost a few billion each, every flight hour must be a few million, each shot dozens of millions with nothing to show for it.
I would assume Yemen gets Iranian weapons under an agreement not to take the war east. If the US does so anyway and Strait of Hormuz becomes the flashpoint, goodbye US oil. Without either Venezuela or SA, US refineries may have to idle.
Trump now threatened tarrifs to all countries that deal with Venezuela, guess that means the EU as well. Once Quatar is impacted, Germany also is back to the worst days of the gas crisis, so EU will fail too.
Lots of dominoes lined up in that region.

Then Bibi started trying to fire the Shin Bet Chief.
Now the country is on the verge of a civil war, which some analysts think Bibi is trying to create.

….A scandal that led Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar (ROB) to be ousted by Benjamin Netanyahu (BNE) for investigating the involvement of Israeli lobbyists — some are americans — and strategic advisories to both Israel and Qatar during the ongoing Genocide in Gaza and now the West Bank. This could turn nastier and force BJ out of politics.

Exactly. Venezuela oil would become critical to the USA with Hormuz closed. Gas rationing like ww2. All products use energy in their creation. A near complete cessation of non military products. A economy completely different than current. Cou d Grace for any small business wounded by covid lockdowns. War would accomplish all Greta goals.

It’s part of the plan. If anything serious happens in the Strait, Venezuela is target #2. They’ve been itching, plotting and conniving to take down the socialist governments of Chavez and Maduro for more than 20 years. If they see it as necessary, and a coup is not possible (multiple have failed), Venezuela will be invaded on some sort of pretext for the oil. Same shit in the Empire, over and over.

Starmer’s war against Palestine protestors continues …
Quakers condemn police raid on Westminster Meeting House
Quakers in Britain strongly condemned the violation of their place of worship which they say is a direct result of stricter protest laws removing virtually all routes to challenge the status quo.
Just before 7.15pm (yesterday – 27 March) more than 20 uniformed police, some equipped with tasers, forced their way into Westminster Meeting House (London).
They broke open the front door without warning or ringing the bell first, searching the whole building and arresting six women attending the meeting in a hired room.
The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023 have criminalised many forms of protest and allow police to halt actions deemed too disruptive.
Meanwhile, changes in judicial procedures limit protesters’ ability to defend their actions in court. All this means that there are fewer and fewer ways to speak truth to power.
Full article : https://www.quaker.org.uk/news-and-events/news/quakers-condemn-police-raid-on-westminster-meeting-house?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=crackdown&utm_term=general&link_id=1&can_id=0fd88023f64f496b13f211557db09a1e&email_referrer=email_2675094&email_subject=unhinged-police-crackdown-arrested-for-attending-a-welcome-talk&
Those targetted were members of the Youth Demand group. Following this, six more people have had their houses raided, in London, Cambridge and Exeter.

UK : Yet more anti-protest laws: a bid to crush the peace movement
More police power to block demonstrations and jail organisers have nothing to do with protecting worshippers and everything to do with suppressing protest rights.
Government amendments to the Crime and Policing Bill will see individuals who breach police conditions imposed on protests fined up to £2,500 and demo organisers facing jail sentences.
This shores up repressive measures already deployed by the police to shut down Britain’s huge Palestine solidarity movement. The Met cited the existence of synagogues “near” planned protest routes to deny them permission on January 18, and again on March 15.
In neither case were the synagogues on the route. In the latter the two cited were over 10 minutes’ walk away. In the centre of London or other cities, such sweeping effective exclusion zones could be used to ban almost any proposed route.
Not one of the protests for Palestine since October 2023 has disrupted worship at a synagogue. The Met acknowledges that there has not been a single reported threat to any place of worship connected to the demonstrations.
This is rather a political move intended to shield Israel and its ally, the British state, from criticism over occupation, war crimes and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. It is cheered on by highly partisan bodies such as the Board of Deputies of British Jews, which claims the protests cause “serious and unacceptable disruption to our communal life,” without specifying how.
The fact that marches may upset people who support or identify with the state of Israel is not intimidation. It is a disgraceful sleight of hand, and a serious threat to the right to free speech and assembly, to pretend it is.
The Starmer government decided in January to crush the mass protest movement where the Tories had tried and failed.
Hence the ban on marchers laying flowers in memory of Gaza’s murdered children at the BBC headquarters on January 18, and the entrapment of march leaders by police parting to allow them through their lines, followed by the violent arrest of chief steward Chris Nineham and over 70 others.

Israel ‘executes 16 rescue workers shot in pit’
Teams of Red Cross/Red Crescent workers and Palestinian Civil Defence crews have reported finding the mass grave of sixteen of their colleagues who had been shot and dumped into a pit by occupation forces in Tel al-Sultan, southern Gaza. The workers had been missing for four days and witnesses reported that they were made to kneel at the edge of the pit before being shot and falling in, according to local journalist Motaz Azaiza.
All the Red Crescent teams’ equipment – ambulances, medical kits – had been destroyed, along with the Civil Defence crews’ fire trucks.

The English Stasi – burst in and arrest folk for doing….erm – nothing.
“Police have raided a Quaker meeting house and arrested six young people meeting to discuss concerns about the climate crisis and the Gaza genocide.
On 27 March, more than 20 officers – some carrying tasers – reportedly forced their way into Westminster Meeting House in central London.
According to Quakers in Britain, the officers “broke open the front door without warning or ringing the bell first, searching the whole building and arresting six women attending the meeting in a hired room”.
Paul Parker, recording clerk for Quakers in Britain, said: “No-one has been arrested in a Quaker meeting house in living memory.”
“This aggressive violation of our place of worship and the forceful removal of young people holding a protest group meeting clearly shows what happens when society criminalises protest.””

@10 Chris
“Not a peep out of the Europeans who are always posturing as “moral” (not just the government but the citizenry as well) and clearly are just collaborators to genocide.”
That is quite a leap though. I don’t rate the term “Europeans” so have no reason to defend those in europe. There have been various large protests, crack downs as Red Star and RoS just posted about. Governments except UK,Germany and France (that I am able to think of) have been discreet and diversionary. Most of all though you would have to want to follow events to find reporting, so far down the page and tangential is the journalism. Most people just decide not to read about people getting killed day after day, being blamed for it or made to feel culpable and so on . The Russian conflict occupies the current cycle nicely, taking front pages and completely distracting attention from anything occuring in Palestine. I say this because I go through msm of various countries (center left and right) every week or two just to see what they are presenting and how.
It’s depressing, but europe as a whole (its people) is quite distinct from the US in terms of being ‘invested’ in the conflict. Morality hasn’t disappeared, the political systems are completely corrupt, especially via EU, as has the UN failed at world level, especially via its security council members.
Anyway, moral posturing is more a political pastime than any ‘average person’ everyday reality. People are the way they are, and most are simply decent, are not interested in being part of any war, conflict or genocide.

Arch 3 – the Lebanese Army is just another proxy army of the CIA and MI6, which means of course its now an extension of the IDF.
In addition the new Lebanese President is the former Army Chief of Staff…the post should have gone to an Amal party member, instead it went to a Lebanese Phalangist.
All part of the US/UK/IDF strategy to turn Lebanon into an Israeli satellite……….

An all air campaign against the Houthis is a waste of lives, and fortune and is doomed to failure.
Air war only campaigns are never successful. The USAF dropped more ordinance on Vietnam and Afghanistan than it dropped in WWII, with really zero strategic result.
The Houthis have been subjected to aerial attacks from the Brits and the SA since roughly 1960, and are still ticking.
The Houthis are resourceful, calculating and highly intelligent, and they are going no where.
Houthi attacks on shipping will cease when the IDF stops massacring Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria.
Too bad the Brits and US and SA let hubris overcome reason….

No, Yemen is attacked because they upset Bibi with their shooting at ships. They also upset UN which sanctioned them unanimously, including the Brics clowns. They were not even shooting when Us and Uk attacked, it was ceasefire. Trump wanted to show he’s better than Biden, gain Bibi’s love, make tremendous hotels on the beach. Also because that’s an easy way to break any connections Yemen has with Iran. Iran already is crying at UN that they have nothing to do with Yemen. they know Russia or China are useless, surrender is the only option for someone with no money or allies. Iran even promised to respond only if US “invades” them, which is the dumbest thing ever. Trump, who is far from smart, even announced a long bombing period in Yemen many days ago, which would be exactly what old surfer girld would suggest, that is civilian strikes for months, hospitals, energy etc, because other things are hard to do and no one is retarded to fight artillery duels. So they set the ceasefire trap to organize and to have ships moving freely and now have returned to depopulation.

Why All Israeli Prime Ministers Have Fake Names! w/ George Galloway

Mar 28, 2025 #TheJimmyDoreShow
Did you know that Netanyahu’s real family name is Mileikowsky? Did you also know that every Israeli Prime Minister changed their name to sound more Jewish or Middle Eastern? Investigative journalist Richard Medhurst describes the litany of Israeli politicians who abandoned their Eastern European names to create the pretense of a stronger connection to the Levant.
Jimmy and Mother of all Talk Shows host George Galloway discuss this curious pseudonymous phenomenon among Israeli leaders.

Posted by: David G Horsman | Mar 28 2025 20:49 utc | 31
To be clear, the targeted group had hired the Quaker meeting room – they are not a Quaker group themselves.
The targeted are members of Youth Demand, the meeting an open Youth Demand welcome talk.
Youth Demand statement :
“Repression has reached a new level. At around 7pm last night, over 30 Metropolitan Police officers broke down the door of Wesminster Quaker Meeting House and arrested six people at an open Youth Demand welcome talk. Since then, six more people have had their houses raided, in London, Cambridge and Exeter.
This is unhinged. No one has been arrested in a Quaker meeting house in living memory! Young people meeting up to discuss how to end the UK’s support for genocide are being arrested and raided by the police for ‘conspiring to cause public nuisance’.
They are scrambling to stop us from shutting London down in April in resistance against genocide because they know we can force the government’s hand. Show them that repression will not work: sign up for action and join us on the streets! ”
The actions aimed at shutting down London begin on April 1. https://youthdemand.org/ for more details.

AIPAC will now be running Middle East centers at US universities:
Harvard Dismisses Leaders of Center for Middle Eastern Studies
By William C. Mao and Veronica H. Paulus, Crimson Staff Writers
March 29, 2025
Interim Harvard Dean of Social Science David M. Cutler ’87 dismissed the faculty leaders of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies on Wednesday, according to a faculty member familiar with the situation — a dramatic shakeup at a center that has come under fire for its programming on Israel and Palestine.
The CMES’ director, professor of Turkish Studies Cemal Kafadar, and its associate director, History professor Rosie Bsheer, were both forced to leave their posts, according to the faculty member.
Global Health professor Salmaan A. Keshavjee — the center’s interim director while Kafadar was on leave — will continue to hold his post.
The departures come after the CMES has repeatedly faced public criticism from Harvard affiliates who have alleged that some of the center’s programming has been antisemitic and has failed to represent Israeli perspectives.
Amid a mounting pressure campaign by the Trump administration, Harvard’s peers have begun shuttering or overhauling programs that the White House says require supervision. At Columbia University, where the Trump administration announced $400 million in federal funding cuts, administrators acceded to White House demands to place the school’s Middle Eastern studies programs under closer administrative supervision.
Cutler announced in an email to some center affiliates, which was obtained by The Crimson, that Kafadar would depart from his CMES directorship at the end of the year. Cutler thanked Kafadar for his work at CMES before asking colleagues to suggest potential candidates for future leadership by April 16.
“I would value your thoughts on who, in addition to intellectual leadership and a compelling vision for the Center, would also bring the necessary administrative skills to be successful in this crucial role,” Cutler wrote.
Cutler’s email did not give a reason for Kafadar’s departure. Bsheer was not named in the email.
A spokesperson for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences declined to comment. Bsheer, Keshavjee, and Kafadar also did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Friday afternoon.
The apparent firings are an especially notable move from Cutler, an economist who is only expected to hold the Social Science divisional deanship for one semester while Dean Lawrence D. Bobo is on leave.
Kafadar is on leave for the 2024-2025 academic year. Keshavjee, who is also affiliated with the Anthropology department and is Adams House faculty dean, has served as the center’s interim director in his absence.

I told you Bernie Sanders lied when he said “not a single nickel to Netanyahu”. He solely wants to limit “CERTAIN OFFENSIVE ARMS SALES”. He does not support a weapons embargo and sanctions like he backs against Russia, he still refuses to recognize the genocide, he still repeats the “KHAMAS STARTED THIS WAR, 1200 INNOCENTS” genocidal atrocity propaganda, and he still solely limits his tepid bullshit criticisms to “the extremist Netanyahu government” when the vast majority of Israelis back the genocide and it is a Zionist Israeli project

CBS Evening News
Israeli soldier tells CBS News he was ordered to use Palestinians as human shields in Gaza
evening-news
By
March 26, 2025 / 8:38 PM EDT / CBS News
CBS News spoke recently with an Israeli soldier who has questioned the military’s tactics. Tommy — not his real name, as he agreed to speak with CBS News on the condition of anonymity — fought in Gaza for the IDF, and his account of the tactics used raises some serious questions.
“We’ve burned down buildings for no reasons, which is violating the international law, of course,” he told CBS News. “…And we used human shields as protection.”
Tommy said his commander ordered his unit to use Gazan civilians to search buildings for explosives instead of dogs.
“They were Palestinian,” he said. “We sent them in first to see if the building was clear and check for booby traps…They were trembling and shaking.”
“We talked to our commander, and we asked him to stop doing it,” Tommy said, but they were ordered to continue. He told CBS News it was policy.
The practice even has a name — the “mosquito protocol” — according to Breaking the Silence, an organization of Israeli veterans who say they’re working to expose military abuses. The group told CBS News that several IDF whistleblowers had confirmed the protocol was widespread in Gaza.
Breaking the Silence has acted as a watchdog body over the Israeli military for more than 20 years. It said it had corroborated Tommy’s account with other soldiers.
In an email, the Israeli military told CBS News it prohibits the use of human shields but that it cannot investigate Tommy’s claim without more detailed information.

If it were not for the various others steadily contributing, I think I would have stopped posting a long while back. Thanks, and to all also.
@42 Sir Reginald
It is hard to make out what is occuring on the ground. The occupation are mainly using drone strikes, bombing and artillery. They have not made any major ground incursion that I have read of, have retaken Netzarim and probably Rafah border or other cleared defensive positions.
Therefore almost all of the engagement is from a secure distance. Tel Sultan massacre near Rafah was one exception, where an area was bombed, told to evacuate and then the whole zone was lost to outside communication, including Red Crescent that spent over 24h trying to find out what happened to its ambulances (they were targeted, only the body of one occupant was retrieved and fourteen are missing, said buried by occupation). Other atrocities and executions occured. It is not clear whether Hamas militia were present in the area, or if they engaged.
@Re. Quakers
I tried to find what about the Quakers might upset the establishment in UK (and I know it was a private meeting in a hired room, but still peaceful and in a place of worship/meditation) and the following has some insight into how opinion against “Israeli” oppression/violence is approached by those who attempt to justify non involvement, taking the view that both “Israelis” and Palestinians have an equal claim to Palestine and so any position should be neutral , that those opposing that should be offered “antisemitism awareness training”. That POV apparently from a Quaker. In other words it phrases some of how ‘anti-semitism’ is enacted by establishment given the POV refers to that training. Its quite a long read, with rebutals in reply, but for those interested in that reality….

On Friday, the US carried out 66 airstrikes across Yemen, including on the capital, (14 on) Sana’a, and multiple other regions. The scale and intensity of the strikes mark a major escalation in Washington’s military campaign against the country.
The US is now bombing Yemen with the same sustained intensity it has used—alongside Israel—in the war on Lebanon. The pattern reflects a broader trend of military assertiveness in the region, with little international accountability and growing humanitarian concerns.

Houthi’s lack of money equals lack of electronic tech. It has protected their country from e-tel, less info for bombing coordinates. Syria and Hezbollah had it’s electronics compromised, one is now regrouping. Iran (Russia/China) noticed and is likely taking stock to prevent a similar fate. It might explain Iran’s current pause after their successful missile launches.

Rubio also went to Jamaica and at the diplomatic presser started claiming that the Cuban doctors in Jamaica were slave labor, the leader of Jamaica set the record straight. Cuban doctors travel all over Latin America providing free healthcare. If they get any money, it goes back to the Cuban state. Most countries have shortages of doctors and are happy to host the Cubans because it is unconditional charity and friendship building, two things America does not understand.

@DropSiteNews
WATCH | Mustafa Barghouti, General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative (PNI), debated Egyptian politician Abdel Monem Saeed on Egypt’s Al-Ghad TV about Gaza’s future and Palestinian unity.
Barghouti, a physician and legislator who co-founded the PNI in 2002, has long pushed for nonviolent resistance and factional unity, including in recent Doha talks. Saeed, a former Egyptian official, supports Egypt’s postwar Gaza plan—rebuilding under PA control while sidelining Hamas—a stance tied to Cairo’s security priorities and past PA alignment.
Al-Ghad TV, a Cairo-based outlet launched in 2016, often reflects Egypt’s state line, blending critique of Israel with PA-friendly narratives. This debate cut to the core of Palestinian divisions and Egypt’s stake in Gaza’s future.
Barghouti argued that the protests in Gaza—calling for an end to the war and for Hamas to step down from political governance—reflect Hamas’s own position, something the group has reiterated repeatedly. He stressed that the West Bank’s suffering—occupation, settler violence, and economic stagnation—persists without Hamas, challenging claims that the group alone is responsible for Palestinian suffering. He also pointed to the steady deterioration of living conditions and statehood prospects before October 7, highlighting failures over years.

He added that Iran possesses the military capability to strike enemy bases anywhere, noting that any geographical location will be targeted in return.
‘If our vessels are attacked, we will undoubtedly respond in kind. If they confiscate our ships, we will seize theirs. No one can hit us and run away. Even if we have to chase them to the Gulf of Mexico, we will do so,’ the IRGC commander said.
On the possibility of blocking the strategic Strait of Hormuz, he stated that the decision on the matter rests with higher-ranking officials, and that his forces would be responsible for carrying out such an order if given.
Tangsiri categorically rejected any possibility of Iran engaging in negotiations over its missile program and support for resistance groups across the region. He added that Iran supports resistance groups because it defends the oppressed; however, it does not impose its will on the groups.
The IRGC commander emphasized that Yemen is not under Iran’s tutelage, as it has its own independent army and leader…”

Regarding the Red Crescent ambulance medics that Israel killed and then destroyed the ambulances; first the truth, and then Israel’s statement on the event. There are still 13 medics unaccounted for, by the way – their bodies were not with the other murdered ambulance crews:
——————–
We’ve been reporting on the Gaza rescue team that went missing a week ago in southern Rafah’s Tal as-Sultan district.
Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) members and international agency staff who finally made it to the scene said they found the body of the mission leader, Anwar Abdel Hamid al-Attar, “in dismembered pieces”.
Destroyed ambulances and fire engines were buried and “their features obliterated”.
“Our teams found torn safety equipment worn by the crew at the crime scene. This suggests the Israeli occupation forces directly targeted the crew during their incursion, then deliberately altered the area’s features and concealed the bodies of some civilians using bulldozers and heavy machinery,” the Red Crescent said in a statement.
Thirteen other medics and civil defence agency workers remain missing.
“The PRCS expresses deep concern for the safety of its teams and holds Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for their fate,” the Red Crescent said.

————–
Israel’s version: ‘yeah, we killed those guys, dismembered some of them, and destroyed the vehicles, but those terrorists keep using ambulances for terroristic purposes.’
—————–
Israel’s army has acknowledged it attacked ambulances and firetrucks in the southern Gaza Strip after identifying them as “suspicious vehicles”.
Israeli forces “opened fire toward Hamas vehicles and eliminated several Hamas terrorists”, the military said in a statement.
“A few minutes afterward, additional vehicles advanced suspiciously toward the troops … The troops responded by firing toward the suspicious vehicles, eliminating a number of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.”
It added: “After an initial inquiry, it was determined that some of the suspicious vehicles … were ambulances and fire trucks”. It condemned “the repeated use” by “terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip of ambulances for terrorist purposes”.
The incident took place last Sunday in the Tal as-Sultan neighbourhood in the southern city of Rafah, close to the Egyptian border.

Brussels, March 29, 2025 –
The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a criminal complaint in Germany against Barel Kriel, a German-Israeli dual national and a tank commander in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), for his involvement in serious war crimes committed during Israel’s military assault on Gaza. Despite the visual and testimonial evidence submitted, the German Prosecution has so far refused to open an investigation—failing to apply both German national law and its obligations under international law.

Kriel served in the 188th Armored Brigade (Barak Brigade) of the IDF, a unit that has been heavily involved in operations in the Gaza Strip. Verified videos and images—many recorded and shared by Kriel himself—show the deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure, indiscriminate shelling of residential neighborhoods, and the glorification of destruction in urban areas, all of which may constitute war crimes under the Geneva Conventions.
In one video, a civilian vehicle is seen burning in a schoolyard-like setting, targeted by a Merkava tank’s gunnery system. No military threats or combatants are present. Other footage captures Kriel’s unit shelling residential buildings in civilian zones—actions that clearly violate the principles of distinction and proportionality under international humanitarian law.
Germany’s refusal to investigate is even more alarming considering that Barel Kriel holds German citizenship. This fact alone firmly establishes German jurisdiction under its domestic laws, which allow prosecution of German nationals for international crimes committed abroad. Even if Kriel were not a German citizen, his presence on German soil would still trigger Germany’s duty to investigate under the principle of universal jurisdiction, as enshrined in the German Code of Crimes against International Law (VStGB).
“The refusal of the German prosecution to act is a political decision, not a legal one,” said Dyab Abou Jahjah, Chairman of the Hind Rajab Foundation. “Germany has both the jurisdiction and the legal obligation to investigate. By failing to do so, it is signaling that some perpetrators of war crimes enjoy protection—not because of the law, but because of geopolitics.”
Germany’s selective application of international law not only erodes its credibility as a defender of human rights but also emboldens impunity. The principle of universal jurisdiction was established to prevent precisely this type of selective justice, where political interests override legal responsibility.
The Hind Rajab Foundation calls on German civil society, legal experts, and human rights organizations to demand that the German prosecution fulfill its legal obligations. War crimes must not be ignored—regardless of who commits them or where they are committed.
The Hind Rajab Foundation continues to pursue legal action in multiple jurisdictions against individuals implicated in war crimes in Gaza and will not relent until justice is served for the victims.

Yesterday the IDF ambushed a Gaza fire pumper truck and two ambulance responding to a fire and injury call in Rafah……
The IDF murdered 6 firefighters and ambulance crew during the attacks and injured many more, and destroyed the three vehicles. These vehicles are clearly marked as civilian emergency vehicles. The IDF are genocidal maniacs.
Clearly a war crime, is the ICC taking note………..

The ICC isn’t interested in crimes committed by states upholding the “rules-based order” — but you knew that already, I’m sure.

….. The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a criminal complaint in Germany against Barel Kriel, a German-Israeli dual national and a tank commander in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), for his involvement in serious war crimes committed during Israel’s military assault on Gaza…….
An increasing situation – this will continue for decades hence.
War Crimes have no statute of limitations

The CMES’ director, professor of Turkish Studies Cemal Kafadar, and its associate director, History professor Rosie Bsheer, were both forced to leave their posts, according to the faculty member.

This means that the two were forced to leave their posts of director and associate director; they weren’t sacked, because they are tenured professors who can’t be sacked. They just lost the directorial posts, nothing more.

The resumption of the infanticidal massacre in Gaza leads us to believe that Netanyahu will succeed in carrying out Zionism’s historic goal of making the Islamic and Christian presences in the former British Palestine residual. It is therefore timely to publicize the history of the population that is being wiped out of that land. To do so, we will use information available in The Invention of the Jewish People, by historian Shlomo Sand. He is Israeli, served in the army and lives in France. The book was published in 2008, when the temperature was not so high.
Levantines speak Arabic, but they are not from Arabia
First of all, Arabs and Levantines are peoples with different histories. The Arabs have their origin in the Arabian Peninsula and have spoken Arabic since time immemorial. Levantines have been in the Levant region since prehistoric times and have changed languages throughout history. Jesus, who lived in the Levant, did not speak Hebrew or Arabic, but Aramaic, one of the dead languages of the region.
Having followed the archaeology of his native country, Sand reports the discovery of a grain of historical truth in the Bible: the population of Canaan, at a certain point, received nomadic shepherds who distinguished themselves from the local population by not having pig remains in their settlements. However, instead of conquest followed by massacre, archaeology points to a mixture of the previous Canaanite population with the new population of shepherds, a mixture that would make up the kingdoms of Israel and Judah between the 12th and 10th centuries BC.
If we are to believe the official historiography of Zionism, however, these nomads who settled in Canaan (present-day Israel) are the ancestors of today’s Jews, while today’s Palestinians are Arabs and descend from populations that originated in the Arabian Peninsula. In reality, conversions confuse everything. Religions migrated more than populations.
“….Replacements of the peasant population were very rare in the Roman Empire and also in the history of the Levant. When one kingdom fell and another took over, what happened was the expulsion of the rebellious elites. The exodus was not for the entire population of Judea, which was made up of peasants, but rather for its educated class….”
“The Zionists and the Truth
Well, at the end of the day, Zionism represents the return of those who never departed, accompanied by the expulsion of those who had always stayed there. The ancestors of the Sephardim, Yemenis, and Ashkenazim never lived in the Levant. The descendants of the ancient Chosen People, who inherited the Promised Land, are right there: in the Promised Land located in the Levant”

Makes perfect sense to me.
That region has always been for the “People of the Book”.
This makes the current genocide a continuation of the European Crusades of the past. Hopefully turning out the same way, with the Euros (Westerners) chased away.
Crazy how history repeats over and over.

The British government would rather that the involvement of its Cyprus military bases in Israel’s genocide go unnoticed.
So signs reading “Britain’s genocide base” have gone up on roads leading to the Akrotiri base, which has been a crucial enabler of Israel’s war crimes.⁣

If Israel does not stop its aggression against Gaza, our airstrikes on Ben Gurion Airport and other targets within Israel will continue.
If our strikes continue for two weeks on Ben Gurion Airport, it could face paralysis, with 90% of air traffic at risk, forcing airlines to choose between “risking the lives of passengers” or “suspending flights.”

I realized a month ago that America at the government level is Zionist. Most Western countries are like this. American voters are Zionist; they elect Zionists, anyone who sneaks in, gets targeted by AIPAC for control or removal. I probably should have realized this years ago.
I think Israel may first have to cease to be for America to escape that spell. I don’t see America abandoning Zionism as long as Israel exists.
