I think it’s true to say that the youbger generation in Britain and the Immigrant population that had no experience of the shadow of Nazism from WW2, see Nazism as a potential alternative to socialism, or at least as a facet of Capitalism, which comes as part of the Capitalist package.

Second, I think there’s a better chance that the USA ends before Israel. So long as there is an USA there will be endless money flowing to Israel. The key to ending Israel is cutting off those funds. The key to doing that is breaking the USA economically. Luckily the USA has never been more fragile financially than it is now.
Yes Iran can flatten Israel if it comes to all out war. But will the Iranians do that and risk a nuclear response? Will they go for total destruction when 20% of the population of Israel is Palestinian? The more humane, and less damaging strategy is to break America financially.

The US is 100% behind Israel because it has no other “myth of foundation”. Europe follows because it cannot admit to say openly that since the New Testament is quoting the Old Testament, if the latter is debunked as a compilation of Cananean, Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Phenician myths, the whole New Testament “veracity” is gone. They consider that the NT is part of their “identity”, rather than limit themselves to art, for example (nowhere in the Bible is it said that you can draw God or the prophets, but this is what European painters did).
Obviously Jesus, if he existed, did not write the NT, nor the books after the four gospels have much to do with his teachings. But about this neither politicians don’t care. What they look at are the stats and figures telling them that a speech in this or that community will get them another 1-2 percent of votes.
Same with the Gulfies who have difficulties admitting the non-historicity of the Bible, even if their own tradition tells them of the “tahrif” of previous texts by the rabbis and monks. One could argue that the Nag Hammadi and Qumran discovery proved that the tahrif hypothesis was correct. But these idiots can’t think that far, since they look more a the real estate and tourism opportunities.
The danger here is that by obliging the Christians to follow blindly the Israeli government in its interpretation of the Bible, people will end up doing just as in politics: voting for the original and reverting to… judaism or some heavily politically influenced sects, such as the evangelicals.
