The Trump Take of Ukrainian minerals, infrastructure and “other resources” means the U$ has “interests” in Ukraine.
And the U$ sends its military to protect its “interests”.
Barflies parse what Scott Bessant is saying:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqTAQaNEnrc
@Winston | Feb 24 2025 2:30 utc | 85
Bessant is basically saying / confirming Winston’s conjecture.
Once the U$ has a signed contract (ignore coerced/ illegitimate head of state)…. Once the “deal”/{steal} is done…. Any deposits or infrastructure or anything anywhere in Ukraine…. Including territory currently militarily occupied by Russia “belongs to the U$, according to Trumpers.
I don’t know how Trump intends to “do a deal with Russia” AND commandeer the Ukrainian resources…. But like Trump stated re Syria… just take the oil.
Trump is a Might means Right mafismo.
Decades of NYC real estate deals taught him just take what you want and let the other guy cry.

*****Winston @85
“. If Zelensky signs the deal then its backdoor NATO admittance and Article 5 cover because if its US government assets “officially” where the deposits are, then its US property…..”
*********
Friend, Trump doesn’t really care about the Ukrainian rare earth dirt. He cares about getting the $350 billion in sanctioned Russian assets. The ploy is to get a US property interest in Ukraine of roughly equivalent value so he can negotiate the $350 billion away from Putin.
However, the real carrot he’ll be holding out is that there won’t be a forever war in Ukraine for Russia to contend with, and they can have a free hand to divide Ukraine up or not. He wants the assets and doesnt give a crap about NATO. Putin doesn’t want this to become a forever war.
Zelensky just figured this out and he’s been screaming in the press that the $350 billion in Russian assets are his.

Posted by: Jerr | Feb 24 2025 6:03 utc | 103

A long ago interview of Putin.. (paraphrased) ……… explaining how one could take a map of the world, put a pin in it anywhere… and the U$ would claim it had “interests” in that location.
Coerce a deal from a compromised illegitimate puppet… and voila…. The U$ has “interests” in Ukraine it must protect.
——
Why is Zlieslylenskyyy hesitating to sign?
a) the rare earths and minerals don’t exist?
b) the infrastructure and other hard assets that the U$ is also including in the Trump Take have already been sold … to “interests” greater than Trump… the French Rothschilds? The City? Israel?
A weasel like zlielenskyyy would sell out in a nanosecond… but even he knows he can’t sell what he no longer owns.
…………
And yes, Jerr…the nominated value of the Ukrainian “assets” are not coincidentally close to the $350b? Of frozen Russian reserves [but aren’t they held in Euros?]

“Initially, everyone was waiting for the ‘Big Arrows’, then, recognition that it was an ‘Attrition’ campaign.
While everyone was distracted by the ‘Hollywood’ images coming out, few realised the real battles was with the hearts and minds of the Global Majority and economics.”

That’d be really interesting if true because I suggested exactly this idea to end the war a couple weeks back here at MoA.
I added that’d be a good deal for Russia, 50 to 100 thousand soldiers and 250-350 billion euro is a good price to pay for possession of the Ukraines territory and surviving infrastructure, liquidation of neonazis, addition of 20-25 million inhabitants, and forced stimulation of Russian economy due to sanctions.

What I see the likelihood of is Britain and France organising the assassination of Trump and his key appointments, one by one, over the coming months.
If they did it in similar ‘terrorist’ fashion to the assignations in Russia it could plausibly be MSM’d to the US population with suitable scapegoating as being carried out by disgruntled illegal immigrants and their crime gangs or rogue Democrat sympathising elements of the FBI, CIA etc, and that would would tip the US into internal chaos.
The EU power brokers must surely hate the US with sufficient passion to relish the idea and it would instantly stop the Trump machine in it’s tracks, leaving the EU to continue a terrorist style war of attrition against Russia as they seem to be gearing up for with limpet mines on commercial vessels and the two new British sea drones just developed, etc etc etc.

Posted by: Saul Goode | Feb 24 2025 9:07 utc | 120

George @ 59

Say that Ukraine was able, as if by magic, to produce 20% of the world’s rare earths. That would equal to about $3 billion annually. To reach the $500 billion mooted by Trump, the US would need to secure 150-plus years of Ukrainian output. Pure nonsense.

You aren’t getting it, stop looking a details, the entire west is pure nonsense, as planned, Trump isn’t talking to people with sense, Trump is talking nonsense to the uninformed* – and the MAGA sheep reassured graze, chew, and bleat.
*to riff on an old Onion article, “a form of self-referential meta-nonsense that science still does not fully understand”.

Last time I wrote, I was fearful of the German election results. Still am fearful of what is to come now that they’ve been announced.
Someone at the Global South Hearty Salon shared a link to a German RT article and a translation of the last two paragraphs.
https://de.rt.com/meinung/237643-alternativlos-deutschland-waehlt-instabilitaet/

What’s in it for Russia? It is in our interest to strengthen the anti-system parties and forces in the Federal Republic of Germany, so a six-party Bundestag would be best: with the strongest possible AfD, the factions of Sahra Wagenknecht’s Alliance and the Left, but without the FDP. The political storm in Europe will only get rougher, both because of Trump and because of the internal crisis of the European integration project, the problems with Atlantic unity and the damaged relations with Russia. Friedrich Merz’s Germany will remain the locomotive of Europe, but the train ride on this damaged locomotive will be bumpy, slow and marked by the squabbling of passengers.
Over time, the anti-system parties will break through the firewall that was put in front of them on their way to power. Only then will the opportunity arise to return to constructive relations with the Germans.

Make of it what you will.

I doubt if Britain and France are up to do that. (Britain is not a member of the EU). Starmer is an entirely subservient figure who licks his (US) masters’ boots, on behalf of Israel, as indeed Tony Blair did before him. At least Blair had more self-confidence.
Macron’s had things going wrong, but he too is not that concerned about Trump. His main interest is keeping the EU going. Impossible to see either wanting to go to extremes. The new policy is coming from Germany with Merz demanding an policy independent of the US. much more likely.

RT Just now:
Trump reveals how he wants to be remembered. The US president says he seeks to leave a legacy as a “peacemaker,” rather than a “conqueror”.
Someone posted in here last week that Trump is probably angling for a Nobel Peace Prize. How prescient!
But would those libtards ever give him one? It would prove him right as The Dealmaker Extrordinaire. Heaven forbid.
And the funniest thing is that he has single-handedly spun the US and NATO and the EU ***losing the proxy war against Russia*** into a celebration of his “peacemaking” powers!!! And of turning Zelensky into the intractable warmonger the West made him. Oh, oh, my sides hurt from the laughter. A bit like bestowing one on Nixon for “making peace in Vietnam”.

The AfD is a fake opposition party, created after the financial crisis that was a result of the right wing financial corruption in the west.
Germany got exactly ONE party on the left “Die LINKE” (The LEFT), all other parties beyond the small ones which don’t ever make it into parliament, are right wing. This includedes von der Leyen’s CDU, Scholz’s SPD, Baerbocks Greens and the “liberal” FDP (liberal in the west ALWAYS means NEOLIBERAL = antiliberal, because neoliberlism is a fancy word for “economical liberalism” = the freedom of the slaveholders to exploit the slaves – so whenever you read ‘liberal’ think of that, an voila, everything makes much more sense).
AfD is mainly a CDU clone. Their job is to push the right wing agenda without any shame (right = elitism = class system = the rich exploit the workers and the poor, so pretty much the main problem when it comes to everything, with racism, sexism/feminism, religion, LGBTQ and so on are just tools of propaganda for this cause, mainly as distraction and ‘divide at impera’ = divide the slaves, make the fight each other, so you can easily rule over them) and to play the fake opposition, for example saying that they are against the Ukraine war, not because they actually are (they massivelys want to increase military spending, just like the rest of the right wing block (= everyone but The LEFT)), but to keep people from voting for the actual opposition party (the LEFT) who is againt warmongering and NATO since DECADES and has already warned the (stupid) citizens how in 1998 how the Euro will just ruining Europe and not unite it but lead to the financial crisis.
Thanks to all the right wing media in germany/the west and the stupidity of the citizens to eat their propaganda, no one listened, neither then nor now.
AfD is no alternative as the call themselves, just like the Green are not green, the SPD is not social-democratic and the CDU not christian nor democratic.
It’s a show for the stupid masses. And it works.
They are neoncon, warmongers, servants of the oligarchy and the show got exact one goal: to make the slaves cling to their chains and keep voting for their oppressors.
Succesfully.
85+% voted again – as usual – for parties who make politics for <10% of the people. While ~9% voted for the party that offers politics for 90% of the people - and that while those upper 10% would still have a very good life.
Stupid, yes. Absolutely stupid.

“Statement by the LINKE Berlin Internationals on Ukraine
We condemn the Russian state’s aggression and demand that it withdraw immediately all its forces from Ukraine. We believe that there can be no justification for this aggression. We support Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity, and the Ukrainian people in their resistance to the invasion. We stand with the Ukrainian people against this aggression, and embolden our efforts against fascisms and authoritarianisms in all their manifestations.”
“We are currently seeing the same process in the Russian media. RT (Russia Today) announced that the invasion was carried out to “denazify” Ukraine. This is just a mirror image of “War on Terror” during the Bush administration. Only chauvinists will be convinced by this partisanship journalism.”

The US+Russia together are to weak to impress their will on Ukraine and their european allies. Just let that sink in, the US and Russia will look like losers on the geopolitical stage if Ukraine with the help of Europe manages to keep the war going successfully for months and years to come.
Trump would look weak after promising a quick end to the conflict without including Europe/Ukraine in the negotations and if his attempt to extort ressources from Ukraine as compensation for the US aid would not materialize. Putin would also look weak because his attempt to exclude Europe/Ukraine from negotiations likewise failed miserably if the war drags on with potentially only minimal gains and at a huge cost to Russia.
The young lions Europe/Ukraine that have been told lies to keep them down for a long time are about to reject all the false narratives that the declining has-beens US and Russia told them for decades. By getting rid of the ideological chains that held them back for so long they will be able to display their true overwhelming power and emerge as the new kings. Meanwhile he has no plans to revive the German economy, forcing it into deeper irrelevance and with that, it’s relevance to Ukraine conflict.

Like a fiddle we are all being played, and have been for a long time
So we are supposed to believe that the current one-day fly “president” of the USA, is about to make a deal with Putin, to stop the fighting because “Ukraine will promise never to join NATO”
Right…
So in less than 4 years these agreements can be swept aside by the next POTUS, after 4 years of proper re-arming and defenses built. As if Putin is that stupid. (As if Putin is actually a thing / someone other than a face on a business card, the current representative of the Kremlin)
These things are just a tiny example of how we are all being played like a fiddle. the scale of the things ACTUALLY at play is too big to comprehend, even if we were shown some of the real puzzle pieces (which we are deliberately not)
Looks to me more like after the wars of last century, globalists took their forever seat at the only table. They’ve re-drawn the maps, but present this to us in a way that we will not all grab our pitch-forks at once. Fake wars are introduced to bit by bit realise their new world map. All countries are mere temporary provinces on the globalist playboard, ALL are subject tho these secret reality re-molding elites.
Local depopulation holocausts, FAKE pendemics and FAKE wars will drive the world to the pre-determined NEW WORLD ORDER. Talks about a BRICS?? a cruel side joke to fool us into giving false reasons / hopes to the horrible realities we see play out.
Weather we look on the mainstream or the alt-news channels, we are just being shown a tiny slice of a huge pie, representing the actual works in progress. only difference is that within that (currently deliberate spotlighted) pie-slice the MSN will show you one side of this slice, the alt will show you the opposite side. but still this is only a slice, deliberately being shown to us in this chosen sequence, to prevent us from unraveling the actual play.
Putin? Trump? Macron? Rutte??
REAL POWER you don’t see on tv. All these are mere characters, written into the playbooks, stating exactly what they are told to state, on the time they are told to state it. How this can be so hard to understand, is beyond me.
For these reasons, I dear to say that any talk of a “concensus” on anything is by definition wrong. Mathematically impossible.
Much love

It would be useful to understand the full list of European military industrial complex and weapons. Considering even the loser Rutte reacently admitted Russia outproduces the entire NATO 4 to 1, they must be outproducing the EU by around 12:1.
So EU want to fight the proxy war at a 12:1 disadvantage? Print 700 billion euros and use their pension funds for an already lost cause for Ukraine, where 90% of financial aid is stolen, a big chunk of weapons sold on the black market (because its a disorganized loser country with no future and officials / high ranking military men see it).

Yes. I understand that he plans to offer his services as the replacement president for piano man when Volo abdicates. From memory, Ukrainians have a habit of employing failed politicians from other countries in vacant positions of high office. Apparently the ex president of Geogia (Sarkoshvilli or something) was very successful as governor of Odessa oblast a few years back, although Georgia had been soundly trounced by the evil Russians in a dispute instigated by him with MI6 assistance.
We know that Boris has a deep and abiding interest in Ukraine, so his appointment should be automatic-particularly after Ukraine is granted NATO membership. While the war is continuing, there is no requirement for formal elections or any other unnecessary trappings of democracy.

Zelensky definitely knows something. Otherwise, why would he risk pissing off the United States (by far the largest power in NATO) while at war with Russia? Does he really think NATO, sans the US, is capable of funding the war with weapons and money if the US pulls out?

Somehow I think European leaders must have access to supremely refined “spiritual practices”.
Part of these practises must be the recongnition of fact that they’re about to drown – to “snort” – centuries worth of human development. That’s one helluva dose.
So that must make one at least a little bit giddy, I suppose. It is amazing though, how permanent this state can be. Revenge of the barbarism for the barbarism by the barbarism for those who are so tight in their suits and superiority.

“ REAL POWER you don’t see on tv.”
Well occasionally they will show the brains being blown out, the hanging from a balcony, the firing squad to quickly dispense the troublesome, or even a bayonet shoved up the arse of the Troublesome turncoat… sometimes a fake trial to ‘legitimise’ such punsihment for having turned on the Powers That REALLY Exist.
They are whom I call the shapeshifters , they are generally the creators of Money – which they use to capture real wealth from humanity. They have done so for Millenia! They shift shape from nventing nations and identities.
Currently if you take Blackrock and the handful that ‘manage’ most of the collective wastes holdings and investments as a cartel; add I. The fellow revolving door Bankers and a few dozens of dynastic families – you pretty much have the caboodle of these you seek!
Sometimes they or their brats make it to TeeVee.
Sometimes they make a MooVee.
But amongst themselves and their aristo elite servants they are well known and they demand recognition and a lifetime of servitude. They control and build billionaire moguls, who hire the house slaves to become millionaires by being very loyal.
The German election, like every other in the collective waste and many of its satraps around the world is pantomime.
There is no chance that any government in Germany or any ‘mature western democracy’ gets elected if its aim is to dismantle the invasion of 80 years ago. The miltary domination by occupation forces under the hand of the Great Owners.
None at all.
Or do you believe that Merck or Weidell would have demanded that the WW2 occupation must end immediately?
The US bases must be evacuated?
The poxy few U.K. ones too?
Can the Japanese demand the same?
Can the Phillipines?
He’ll can even the Australians and British tell the Yankee Doodle ‘over paid, over sexed and over here’ to Go Home?
Yeah I’m MAGA , and so should all such imperial occupied lands and Peoples should be too.
Make America GO AWAY.
😂😂
That’s how to get rid of the Vampyre Bankers and Shapeshifters who rule by media censorship and fake cultural supremacist hegemony on TeeVee.

So you want the Russians to commit a war crime by intentionally targeting the civilian leaders of a country?
It would certainly benefit the guys in Ukraine with their hands up Zelensky’s butt making his lips by turning them into martyrs but what benefit would be the benefit to the Russians?
Even during WW2 the Russian didn’t target Hitler. They wanted to capture him alive so he could be put on trial to answer for his crimes. They were quite upset that Hitler committed suicide robbing them of the satisfaction.
Why would you want to take the satisfaction of seeing the Ukrainian leaders hunted down and strung up by their own people or better yet having them stand trial?

Listen. Very. Carefully. To what Johnson is spruiking.
As @bar has discussed. The “minerals” Trump Deal is much more about the U$ grabbing a stake in Ukraine.
Once the U$ has “interests” in the country, it will inevitably move to “protect” those “interests”.

-foothold for further move toward Sevchenko
-RUAF to bypass the next AFU east-west fortified line from the rear (i.e. east)
-RUAF captured the final AFU defensive position W of Andriivka
-Consequentially RUAF significantly improved their position in this part of the front
-There will likely be no direct attack on Slavyansk from the east, it could end up in semi-cauldron like Pokrovsk
-AFU is stretched thin, RUAF have offensive when it comes to their offensive south/SW of Pokrovsk or SW of Slavyansk
-RUAF need to clear the large pocket between Toretsk-New York-M23 road south of Slovyansk to continue
Kursk:
-RUAF captured half of Lebedevka
-Current battle in Novenke and Basivka
-Objective is to starve the AFU grouping in and around Sudzha and force AFU to deploy forces to protect against this attack (the first AFU counter-attack suffered many tank losses with tactical withdrawal battles, and unconfirmed reports claim helicopters are now used here)

Totally explains how they let the top NATO dogs escape the Azov Metal Plant. Only stopped it when the Donbass militias caught them, and exposed it. Then they let all the top Azov War Criminals go on vacation to Turkey. No wonder they need Trump’s help.
Cheers M
….oh, and there was a War Criminal Meeting in Kiev yesterday….gut busting funny, Tiny Dancer strutting the stage, looking for curtin calls….Bravo Tiny Dancer…..Bravo!
