Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

Trump Abolishes Democrats’ DEI And Trans-Craze Policies

Trump's second presidency has a strong start. On his first day in office he has issued some 200 executive actions including some 42 executive orders (EO) undoing many of Biden's attempts of socially engineering a new society.

(Unfortunately I have yet to find a complete list of those EOs. Why haven't even the agencies, AP, AFP or Reuters, compiled one?)

I do dislike many of the EOs Trump issued. Leaving the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreements, and thereby de-legitimizing them, is not good for mankind. Further supporting the Zionst entity is a disgrace.

Others I do like. Trump pardoned participants of the Jan 6 (2021) 'riots' which had never amounted to much more than a hustle.

He rescinded many of EOs the Biden administration had issued around its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies. Attempts of social engineering against merit deserve to fail.

I am also very happy that Trump has ended the official Trans craze. The wording herein is remarkable:

DEFENDING WOMEN FROM GENDER IDEOLOGY EXTREMISM AND RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers. This is wrong. Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being.
…
This unhealthy road is paved by an ongoing and purposeful attack against the ordinary and longstanding use and understanding of biological and scientific terms, replacing the immutable biological reality of sex with an internal, fluid, and subjective sense of self unmoored from biological facts. Invalidating the true and biological category of “woman” improperly transforms laws and policies designed to protect sex-based opportunities into laws and policies that undermine them, replacing longstanding, cherished legal rights and values with an identity-based, inchoate social concept.

There are and will be many more Trump policies which (will) deserve to be condemned and criticized.

That should not hinder us to admit that he got some things right.

Trump renews economic war on Cuba in first batch of orders
Trump issued an executive order to reinstate Cuba on a terror list.
United States President Donald Trump reinstated Cuba to a US list labeling countries as sponsors of terrorism, on Monday.
Trump reversed a last-minute decision to remove the country from the list by the previous administration, as he signed a slew of executive orders and presidential actions.
Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz-Canel called out Trump for his “arrogance and disregard for the truth,” saying that the American president’s decision “is not surprising.”………

Ahh, a voice crying out in the wilderness of Wokieville, Kali-Formula. In a perverse sort of way, elementary human touch can become a penological nightmare. Even fifty and more years ago California was tagged as the “land of fruits and nuts”.
Fruits, in the essence of that tag, may be emblematic by the fruit of Western Civ: Leonardo the Florentine. Yes, he was briefly incarcerated in Florence for having an affair with a fourteen y.o. of his own sex and of mutual interest. However, here in ManySnowta; he would be charged, found guilty, imprisoned for several years and thereafter held, perhaps for the rest of his life in the St. Peter, Mn. facility for “dangerous” sexual offenders.
On the straight side of the ledger, in several of my neighborhood district local bars; I’ve encountered fathers dealing with divorces or shack-ups and even one-night stands resulting in DNA testing. The “social service” industry here in the Gopher State is massively the province of edumacated females of the opposite sex who are mostly Psych grads, turned out by the tens of thousands, not of lakes, but of bureaucrats and administrators of those social service industries. In general, even low-paid men are obliged to cough up a major portion of their incomes (after taxes) to their former womb-mate on behalf of their offspring.
The gripe of these downtrodden pissants is usually that they are expected to supply their eX with funding on at least a middle-middle class monthly payment for care of their kid. Problem arises on a consistent level, wheret mom rakes off the lioness’ share of the take for her own needs and desires, while cooking up in her microwave, some crap food for the designated receiver of that largesse. Kids brought up exclusively or most of the time by their mothers…or with the male present being her current indifferent boyfriend…are often messed up for life in even this small rural county…a scene where there still remains some levels of community connections and adhesions.
Hating in a way to compare the travails of my little neck of the woods with Cali…where the mass-class, immigrant laden reality is retroprogressing at warp speed into the blazing facts of LaLaLand.
The ancient Chinese curse of “may you live in interesting times” comes to mind as for the current mass insanity of a world where there are precious few adults in the room.

A similarly judicious assessment from Mercouris:-

Not sure about Cromwell. But then, I’m biased on that period of our history. We maybe took a wrong turning or two back then.
If President Trump does manage to carry through the internal reforms he has in mind he’ll be one of the greatest Presidents in American history. But what’s crucial for the world, as well as for the US, is whether the new President will repudiate President Biden’s foreign policy. Proof of the pudding’s going to be in the eating there but I’m optimistic.

Sex and gender are two different things. Government should pass laws that make the distinction so as to delineate the rights and obligations that are connected to the real nature of the two.
What everyone is doing here is mixing these and miscommunicating all the time.
The EO of Trump attempts to make the difference and let in some cases sex preside over gender. Like in sports, woman shelters, bathrooms and other safe places.
It uses language that states the nature of gender as fluid and subjective: there I am not so sure about the second one.
And also, gender reassignment surgery should be an adult only affair.

Yes, climate change is real. Just happens without man’s input.
Today the US Gulf Coast is experiencing 5 inches and more of snow. Lows will be in the low teens (-10 C) and most areas will stay under freezing for the next 48 hours. This is on top of an abnormally cold January, with temps 10-15 degrees below normal.
This breaks snow records from the late 1880’s, which is when US weather service started.

As promised, another OT interjection: It’s a busy day, and more will certainly follow. Here we have something different, “Putin & Xi Chat Plus Tik-Tok Pushback,” https://karlof1.substack.com/p/putin-and-xi-chat-plus-tik-tok-pushback
Also, there’s this excellent answer given by Director of Russian Foreign Ministry’s Latin American Department Alexander Shchetinin’s answer to a TASS question about the situation around the Panama Canal:

Question: US President Donald Trump said that the United States may demand the return of control over the Panama Canal if the current conditions for its use are not revised. Does the situation around the Panama Canal cause concern for the Russian Federation? What could the situation threaten the region and the world if Donald Trump nevertheless begins to implement his intentions?
Answer: We proceed from the premise that the international legal regime of the Panama Canal is clearly defined and enshrined in the Treaty on the Permanent Neutrality and Operation of the Panama Canal between the United States of America and the Republic of Panama, which was signed by US President Jimmy Carter and Panamanian Prime Minister General Omar Torrijos on September 7, 1977 and entered into force on October 1, 1979.
The regime established by the Treaty is additionally enshrined in the Protocol to it, to which about 40 states of the world have joined. Russia has been a party to the Protocol since 1988 and reaffirms its obligations to observe the permanent neutrality of the Panama Canal, advocating the preservation of this international transit waterway safe and open.
We hope that during the expected discussions between the leadership of Panama and US President-elect Donald Trump on control over the Panama Canal, which undoubtedly falls within the sphere of their bilateral relations, the parties will respect the current international legal regime of this key waterway.
In this regard, we emphasise that according to the amendments made by the United States and Panama to the Treaty in October 1977, each of the two countries must protect the Canal from any threat to the neutrality regime. At the same time, a reservation has been made that the said right of the United States to defend the Panama Canal does not mean and should not be interpreted as the right to interfere in the internal affairs of Panama, and any actions of the American side will never be directed against the territorial integrity or political independence of Panama.

Further information related to the situation can be read here, “BEYOND THE TREATIES: LIMITATIONS ON NEUTRALITY IN THE PANAMA CANAL”. There’re many more sources online dealing with the topic. IMO, Trump has no case.

Trump newest:
Tarriffs for EU and China
(Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump vowed to hit the European Union with tariffs and said his administration was discussing imposing a 10% tariff on goods imported from China on Feb. 1 because fentanyl is being sent from China to Mexico and Canada.
Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, said he had already imposed large tariffs on China during his first term. He said the European Union and others also had troubling trade imbalances with the United States.
“The European Union is very, very bad to us,” he said, repeating comments made Monday. “So they’re going to be in for tariffs. It’s the only way … you’re going to get fairness.”
Russia – Ukraine
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he would likely impose sanctions on Russia if its president, Vladimir Putin, refuses to negotiate about ending the war in Ukraine.
Trump said his administration was also looking at the issue of sending weapons to Ukraine, adding his view that the European Union should be doing more to support Ukraine.
“We’re talking to (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelenskiy, we’re going to be talking with President Putin very soon,” Trump said. “We’re going to look at it.”
Trump said he had pressed Chinese President Xi Jinping in a call to intervene to stop the Ukraine war.
“He’s not done very much on that. He’s got a lot of … power, like we have a lot of power. I said, ‘You ought to get it settled.’ We did discuss it.”

Here’s Zakharova on the Cuba crap:

Moscow has noted that among the decisions of President Donald Trump of January 20 that were canceled by President Donald Trump’s executive order of January 20 included the presidential memoranda signed a week ago on excluding Cuba from the US unilateral list of states “sponsors” of terrorism and on lifting restrictions on financial transactions with Cuban legal entities.
As arguments, the said decree notes that “the previous administration introduced deeply unpopular, inflation-causing, illegal, and radical practices in the activities of every department and institution of the federal government.” And the current step is allegedly being taken “to begin to implement policies that will again make the United States a united, just, secure, and prosperous country.”
It is only unclear what all this has to do with Cuba and on what basis it is again included in this notorious list. It is quite obvious that in fact we are not talking about the fight against terrorism. The previous US administration stated that there was no evidence of Cuba’s support for international terrorism. And this remains an indisputable fact. We consider it necessary to emphasise once again that Cuba has an impeccable and exemplary reputation as an active participant in international cooperation in countering terrorism.
There is also no doubt that the restoration of the Island of Freedom in this sanctions list is aimed at further tightening financial and economic restrictive measures in the hope of destabilising the situation and changing the government in Cuba. At the same time, it is clear that the relevant restrictions have an extremely negative impact on the quality of life of the island’s population. Perhaps it is the stake on provoking social discontent in this way? It is sad that after more than 60 years of the harsh sanctions regime against Havana and the political pressure exerted on it, Washington has not been able to admit the futility of imposing its will on the Cuban people.
For its part, Russia will continue to provide the necessary support to Cuba in defending its state sovereignty and upholding its demands for an immediate and complete end to the illegal and inhumane economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island by the United States, as well as the removal of Havana from the list of alleged sponsors of terrorism. [My Emphasis]

As I commented elsewhere, this was a sop to Rubio and his Mafia, who are the real Cuban Terrorists.

Thanks for your reply. There’s also good news regarding Russian-Armenian relations as Lavrov met with Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan, which I’ll publish tomorrow, although there was this closing question at the presser about Trump:

Question: How would you comment on US President Donald Trump’s first statements in the field of foreign policy, from the US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, the World Health Organisation, as well as the intention to impose duties on the BRICS countries and the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico? Jui Rubio was recently appointed US Secretary of State. Can we expect a resumption of contacts between Moscow and Washington?
Sergey Lavrov: I can comment on the decisions announced by President Donald Trump. Many political scientists are engaged in this. In short, I will say that this is an obvious indication of the methods by which President Donald Trump and his administration intend to promote the interests of the United States on the world stage.
The interest of the United States has never changed, regardless of whether the Democrats or Republicans are in the White House. It is to always be stronger than any competitor. The previous administration was guided by the same task. President Donald Trump has shown what methods he wants to use to achieve this goal
.
We respect the choice of the American people. As far as I understand, the US leadership under President Donald Trump has also repeatedly given reason to say that they also respect the choice of the Russian people.
As for contacts. President Vladimir Putin, answering this question, answered in the affirmative. Subsequently, President Donald Trump said that he intended to get in touch with the President of the Russian Federation in the near future. The answer has been known for a long time. [My Emphasis]

DEI was an exercise in population thought control and if it had succeeded it was but a short path from there to large-scale totalitarianism.
Now that the tide has turned (because the exercise thankfully failed) it should be no surprise that there will be a strong backlash. Some people may get hurt.
There will be a lot of wailing and tearing of garments about the loss of protection for the transgendered. The plain fact is that most of us are quite willing to accept the choices of adults regarding their sexual behavior with other consenting adults. While most of us are uncomfortable with using the public education system to coach children that biological sex is not real while gender fluidity is real. And a lot of us do not care to pay for the expense of sex-change operations, which are entirely optional.
Thank you to b for his courageous blog post today, as I’m sure he knew it would be incendiary and would receive a lot of pious criticism.
I am very supportive of the White House statement on Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism. Because, with just a little attention to ongoing events it is clear that the one important result of DEI gender ideology is the erasure of women as a group. Once people accept that anyone can be a woman, what does it mean to be a woman?
And pursuant to that, a result which some people seem not to have processed, once womanhood is erased there is no reason to think of manhood as a thing, since it exists only in relation to its opposite, womanhood.
And if there is no womanhood and no manhood, then everyone is interchangeable. Which is the problem that troubles Renaud Camus. The concern is not about replacing Caucasians with Indians, Africans with Chinese, of Polynesians with Native Americans. It is about reducing all people to the lowest denomination of commonality. And that is manifestly a totalitarian project, as it would sweep all people into the totality.
Interchangeability, by the way, is very desirable to the interests of those who see ordinary people (working people) as merely a commodity (labor). If labor is interchangeable then there is no friction if the labor force is moved from one continent to another, or simply made redundant and put aside.
DEI Gender Ideology was only ever the thin edge of the blade to push this new version of totalitarianism into the societies of the 21st century. If I have to thank Trump for stopping it in its tracks, I guess I’ll do so.
Not that I have any confidence in what comes next.

It’s disconcertingly bizarre to see virtually nothing about this in the MSM. Then again, the entire international mise-en-scene is disturbingly bizarre, lately. Over-the-top excitement of many here (including our host) over any official measures promoting transphobia and homophobia strikes me as sickeningly strange. People with obsessions like that are usually dealing with family tragedies they want to blame on an inchoate sense of malevolent forces outside their family. It’s pathetic to me. In a world threatened with nuclear destruction, we waste brainwaves arguing over why some children play dress-up. We are surely doomed.

Posted by: Aleph_Null | Jan 22 2025 1:04 utc | 326

For once, I find myself seconding Mr. johnson, as well as aristodemos, above at 266/67 on the topic of dress up. I’ll stop just short of claiming that sex isn’t gender, however. – There is evidently a nature/nurture issue at play here; and it’s not simple.
Fashion history is a good example; Mr. johnson provided the key points. A german Landsknecht of the 16th century with his leggins, body armor resembling a super mini skirt, and topped off with a feather boa does not look especially gay, as far as I can tell. Being a straight male myself, I did some experiments with dress up after I discovered fairly late in life that I’m blessed with presentable legs, and my conclusion is clear: not all attire usually associated with women is inherently out of place on a guy. Some things are, but eg. hotpants do fine (footballers wore them in the 60ties too). Skirts don’t always work, as the tighter fits will impress the male body parts; and that is too much, then (for my taste) – but apparently this is also subject to fashion, as shown by the anecdote of guys starting to decorate their impressed genitals with feathers etc which led to the style being forbidden in the interest of the greater good. I’ll spare us a discussion of laced underwear.
In my city, of late a trend has appeared where men wear red lipstick and lash extensions with a 3-day beard, a badly fitting dress and high heels they can’t handle. This is, of course, a misunderstanding. But the general problem, aside from bad taste, can’t be readily done away with by fixing two categories, together with accepted appearances. Fashion is fluid, and that is probably a good thing.

This thread has gone the way of… a shitstorm
So let me be properly punished for things that cannot/should not be said.
AGW:
1. There’s a natural trend since the 18th century, it is more than half of any of the debatable numbers with heat islands and satellite adjustments
2. Critical problem, nobody can state if the main driver, clouds, is a positive or a negative feedback (check if you don’t believe)
3. As others have mentioned, there are a ton of environmental/ressource problems, being thrown under the bus to focus on co2
4. Someone is bulshiting you, care to wonder why?
Sex gender:
1. There is XX, there is XY, there are even some outliers no more important than mongoloids in doubled chromosomes.
2. Some men like to be fuck things for other men, some enjoy dressing up, some of these groups overlap, but dick love and a skirt not a woman make
3. Will quickly ignore penis envy girls (mussel liking was always a hobby, not a full time job)
4. Sucessful men earn more than women spend, successful women get a successful man, those who don’t will go to one form or another of prostitution, where you’ll also find less than capable men spending in the lower tier of the activity. Polyandry is only present on resource poor environments.
Trump:
1. Will try to do what he wants
2. Will get to do what he can
3. Some are sure to upset you, don’t let it make you loose your focus
4. Best case scenario he’ll be our kind of SOB
5. as a P.S. don’t expect to see the us disappear, to fade from more global subjects will have to do and likely have some ups and downs in the next 2 or 3 centuries
And now that I have probably upset a large set of the public, I’ll retire for the night

You’d think the climate loonies would be heaving a sigh of relief—we’re saved!!!!—but instead they either hide under the bed or rend their garments.
On a more serious note, Chris Morrison, the climate editor at the Daily Sceptic, has written quite a lot lately about the questionable value or even truth of official temperature pronouncements because of the absurd placement of the measuring devices (in the middle of hot tarmacs or in urban heat spots) and also the practice of “making it up” where measuring devices have not been in place for the time period for which the authorities are citing data. That kind of thing. Furthermore there is really no such thing as an average global temperature.
Finally, per data cited by Morrison, the Antarctic ice shelf is now growing, not shrinking, and has been for a few years.
And, the polar bears are doing very well.

Question is, does the U$ actually possess the “might” to take that to which it believes it has the right?

Trump said he had pressed Chinese President Xi Jinping in a call to intervene to stop the Ukraine war.

I have enjoyed your posts Paranaense, but this is a bit much to expect of Trump at this point. His weaknesses are apparent but noted also is his willingness to change. That has been evidenced in major differences between this beginning and his first presidency. Attacks on his weaknesses are only going to be effective because of the manner in which his attributes are justly welcomed. We cannot expect all our own experiences to make sense if they are not his. I take his friendship with RFKjr to be enough on this issue for now. Let those friendships be his support, his advisors sustain him going forward; that is my prayer for President Trump. A more normal weather situation would have given him the support of throngs of people in attendance at his inauguration. Let that support be more in evidence on these forums. We are all anxioux, understandably, but let’s be patient.
Just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, neither will Washington, DC be rebuilt in a week. For now, it is just the foundations which are getting a good shaking up. Not to mention cleaning up the White House itself! Let the poor man have a good night’s sleep. He has earned it, and a bit more besides. Best of strength to his wife and family, and thank you all for what you have accomplished so far, what Trump himself has accomplished. This is only the beginning of the beginning of our new day. We can be generous in appreciation, not niggardly in praise. Look at how far we have come — so far is, most certainly, so good!!!

Trisha @ 72:

… But why all the “craze” around transwomen but nothing is ever said about transmen (i.e. female to male)? The history behind this is basic: what men do – being in positions of power – counts more than what women do …

Perhaps it is because the general public in Western nations now perceives that most “transwomen” are simply men who don women’s clothing or claim to be transwomen (without intending to undergo sex-change surgery) in order to gain access to physical spaces reserved for women or girls – physical places such as bathrooms, change rooms and women’s refuges (to escape domestic violence or being stalked) – so that they can do the things they want to do that they couldn’t do otherwise if they did not declare themselves “transwomen”.
The general public perceives that to invade and usurp the physical space and resources reserved for women and girls, by transwomen, is hardly a form of respect for females and could be construed as a form of misogyny – especially if the transwomen also claim that men can be “women” and still retain their original male genitalia.
On the other hand, one rarely hears of transmen invading the physical spaces or usurping the physical resources intended for the exclusive use of men and boys – probably in part because there may be more transwomen than there are transmen. I have seen a statistic that states that, globally, one in 30,000 people is a transwoman and one in 100,000 people is a transman, so the ratio of transwomen to transmen worldwide would be 3:1. But there are other studies apparently that put the worldwide ratio of transwomen to transmen at 4:1 (to take one extreme) and 2:1 (the other extreme).
Counting Trans Populations
One other possibility that transmen appear not to invade or usurp the physical spaces and resources of men and boys is that many transmen themselves are pressured to undergo gender transition from female to male, and may have regrets about transitioning later on. In such cases, they may re-identify as women and try to go back to what they were originally as much as they can. (They may not be 100% successful of course, if they have had operations to remove ovaries, uteri and breasts, and have taken testosterone treatments while they were young.)

Populism only works until the pendulum swings, I mentioned it takes roughly 23 years to swing and 46 to do a full circle.
Maybe that’s why the us thought putin was right for plucking now, they misread the years he was still on the other side (by necessity).
But yes, now that I think of it putin should start thinking of being someone’s yeltsin (assuming the best of yeltsin of course, knowing he screwed up and made amends by choosing very very wisely someone to outmaneuver the minefield h was inheriting and doing an 180 on the trajectory ).
On that logic we might say xi has only a decade and if, as I suspect from half a dozen years ago, he wants to be the one to bring Taiwan into the fold… the us should be worried, he might give trump some slack, but vance will have to face him.
Why give trump some slack? He’s got plenty of people doing business with china in his retinue , even some Koch familiars, I’d bet no war in china for the duration.

It’s all so fucking boring, just about everything I’ve read in this thread is the same old tired amerikan exceptionalism. Take the two ‘executive orders’ which b takes to trump to task over.
The WHO was a fine organisation responsible for assisting contemporary health delivery in many high poverty, low development nations, but bill gates an amerikan oligarch, screwed it up to assist in turning a formerly socialist organisation into one where he & his fellow greedies can profit.
amerikans have lived since the inception of their godforsaken abortion of a nation by stealing resources from other less fortunate humans, initially their own indigenous population, until they ‘expanded’ into other less fortunate populations about this planet.
WHO was designed & implemented as way to force the parasites who live in so-called developed nations to pay a minuscule tax on the resources whose theft allows their dissolute & thieving lifestyle, yet scungy self-centered amerikans now refuse to pay even that!
The inevitable outcome of this is that those nations which depended on WHO to overcome endemic disases many of which entered those communities on the backs of imperialists will favour corporations & individuals from nations which support WHO ahead of those who do not when negotiating resource agreements.
Well now they are out of WHO at least they won’t be able to divert its scarce resources into their own pockets as they have been doing.
. Hopefully this snowball will begin an avalanche where amerika like england is regarded by other humans as simply too much hassle cos whilst they are a member they spend all their time and effort perverting tha organisation’s goals & attempt ‘to get their way’ by incessantly threatening to leave like some spoilt kid.
There was a much simpler fix, when after amerikan pressure WHO began accepting huge donations to undermine the organisation’s basic precepts amerika blocked that effort to focus WHO on real issues at every turn. As they always do.
Rather than simply banning these blatantly strings attached private donations, which had screwed with the organisation amerikans decided they would no longer ante up the minuscule tax on their thieving. This move is so corrupt that it is a dead certainty that their greed and indifference to others will come back to haunt them.
As for the Paris Accord, the same egocentric selfishness is on display there for all to see.
At the time of the Paris ‘summit’ peoples of the world had unified their voice calling for change because the planet’s rapid deterioration was down to so-called developed societies crude & exploitative efforts to do WTF they wanted, when TF they wanted, the sole determinant being next quarter’s profit.
I seem to remember there was some debate over whether amerika should even be invited & of course many of the more corporate brainwashed amerikans insisted they not attend.
What too few humans realised was that amerika in league with all the worthless neolib ‘leaders’ which amerika had blackmailed, bribed & bullied by interfering within other sovereign nations to get that gig, conspired to make the Paris Accord completely unworkable.
This was achieved in the main by insisting that all nations developed or not, must have the same restrictions on regulations, so that amerika who already led the world pollution league tables at the time would be able to increase the amount of crap they pump out just as much as some joint where no one had reliable energy sources, communications or even water reticulation.
In other words amerikan interference in the climate accords meant that the simple strategy of ‘catching up’, the bill of goods imperialists had sold the rest of the planet on since the start of the thievery, was now plainly impossible – except of course none of the amerikans or neoliberal creeps who dominated the agreement said that out loud.
Personally I don’t give a flying fuck that amerika has pulled outta these deals as long as it is ensured that no amerikan, government, oligarch or private citizen, can have any influence on these concords ever again. The money issue is being overcome as changes to the way that we the humans who are not greedy, egocentric or amerikan, do business with each other & shift our economies outta the control of uncle scam.
Trump has set y’all on the one-way path to irrelevancy, and the best bit is that y’all are too stupid, ignorant or both to comprehend that.
Yeah, yeah I know, TLDNR which kinda proves my point.

While the “idea” is of World Health has good intentions, the problem is a lot of “Western Medical Science” is false and contains lies which only benefit Big Pharma/Medicine. Take “Germ Theory” as one example. This was invented in the 1880’s with backing from Rockefeller Medicine. There is no such thing as viruses. FIRST LAW OF TROLLOGY:
When a poster poses as a down-to-earth, regular guy with a regular name, HE IS NEITHER, but a PAID TROLL.
b.: Trump pardoned participants of the Jan 6 (2021) ‘riots’ which had never amounted to much more than a hustle.
PAID TROLL:
Putting scare quotes around a simple fact is an appalling symptom of stupidity, dishonesty or an ugly combination of both.
Actually, whether or not a series of actions legally qualifies as a “riot” is a LEGAL DETERMINATION that depends both on observable facts and on an assessment of the surrounding circumstances (including GOVERNMENT INSTIGATION and ENTRAPMENT), and of the MOTIVES of those involved. In other words, whether or not something is a “riot” is not an observable “fact.”
SECOND LAW OF TROLLOGY:
When a poster cites various reasons why a point is BEYOND DISPUTE, e.g. because it is a “fact,” has been decided by “experts” (or even “97% of experts in the field¨), that objections have been “debunked,” etc. etc., nine times out of ten the poster is a LYING TROLL, and likely a shill paid for his (rarely her) word salad.

Why, exactly, is it impossible to find an average surface temperature of any arbitrary surface?
Good question. Let me try to provide a comprehensible answer. Essentially, temperature is measured locally, while things are not in a stable equilibrium … it’s a tricky notion for sure. –
Imagine you’d spill a drop of ink on a sheet of paper. Is there an average amount of ink on each unit square of surface now? Yes, but you need to relate the sheet size to the amount of ink in the drop. If you have to crawl around on the surface to measure [ink concentration] in single spots, you’ll only be converging (over time) towards the true number if both sheet size and the amount of ink are kept constant. This, however, is not the case in our atmosphere with regard to the energy fluxes behind local temperature.

The sense of your comment is unclear.
Does “this?” refer to Chris Morrison?
I am not a fool.
Morrison always cites scientific studies and articles in scientific journals or new incoming data, as with the polar ice. Very often, items that have been ignored or withdrawn under pressure from “the science” consensus people.
https://dailysceptic.org/2025/01/10/massive-recovery-in-antarctica-sea-ice-unreported-by-net-zero-obsessed-mainstream-media/
It is the Net Zero and CO2 zealots who “just believe.”
It is they who are unaware of alternative theories as to what drives Earth’s climate and what is actually happening, for instance, on barrier reefs, or with polar bears, or with the variability of Antarctic sea ice. Because info or even scientific debate that doesn’t support the climate emergency narrative does not get aired.

Trish assures us that men are more violent than women, so transwomen should be allowed in women’s spaces to protect them. Women know that men are more violent than women. Women also know that transwomen are actually men. That is why women do not want men in their bathrooms or changing rooms or prison cells.
On the other hand, I agree with Aristo that the insistence by some women that all men are violent, or that an unwanted pass is the same as rape, is ridiculous.
But Aristo, like some others here, confuses same sex attraction with the trans issue. Trans are not usually homosexual. They are men with a fetish called autogynephelia.
Very few people care about other’s sexuality, meaning who they prefer to have sex with, as long as they do it in private. No one cares if men wear dresses or women wear jeans. The objection is the ruling class insistence that people can change their sex if they say so, and everyone else has to pretend that self ID makes a person the opposite sex, entitled to bully girls and women into submitting to their personal fetish.
This comes from the top, and I am happy that Trump put an end to it.
Sadly, the Establishment push to normalize transgenderism has led to some parents transing the gay out of their children, as employees at Tavistock noticed.
The most famous is Jazz Jennings, who was a gay boy whose parents decided they would rather have a straight girl. They got a reality show, great fame, and a book deal out of it.
What he got out of it was a stunted penis, thanks to the puberty blockers, and a painful castration with multiple complications. He will never have an orgasm, thanks to said puberty blockers.
He is not the only one. Now that the children who were subjected to the lucrative transing industry are adults, many of them regret their treatment.
They are doing double mastectomies on girls as young as 13 years old. When those girls grow up they frequently regret the loss of their breasts.
Sexual reassignment surgery is a misnomer. Plastic surgery does not change your sex, any more than a face lift makes you 20 years younger.
Castration and silicone implants do NOT make a man a woman.
Cutting off a girl’s breasts or skinning her arm and fashioning a non-functional penis does not make her a man. Nor do testosterone injections, even if she grows a beard from them. She’s still female.
This is not that difficult to understand. The fact that so many can’t understand is a testament to the power of propaganda.

the real reason humanity is in such a state that has been happening/building for 500+ years is to look no further than the City of London-Square Mile where the warnings have been documented hundreds of times by very influential business and political leaders over the years including Adolph. ((They)) are a dangerous parasitical entity that won’t EVER stop until all of us are destroyed!! Check out Henrymakow and read a little bit…
<=Peace in Ukraine and stability within and by and between each nation of the nation state system is fully dependant on the intentions of those entities (Oligarchs, stock markets, corporations, trusts, partnerships, banks, energy bandits, and the like) with a presence in the city of London? The war against Russia will probably go on until those entities with a presence in the City of London are destroyed? The Belt and Road initiative and the BRICS projects seem to be the only project with a chance in hell at accomplishing that destruction. Posted by: LikeItsHot | Jan 21 2025 17:45 utc | 145 The master illusionists behind the curtain <=the wizard is the City of London.. Posted by: Exile | Jan 21 2025 17:12 utc | 119 The only way Trump can succeed is by "restructuring' the Federal Debt plus slashing the Federal Gov't by 30% PDQ. <=Its not about Trump success? Its about finding ways to make the nations and all elements in the nation state system respect human rights and about keeping the king of mountain crowds out of nation state politics and about establishing competitive public ally owned economies instead of privately owned monopolistic economies. 2ndly there are several ways the debt could be restructured. Simply write it off (File Bankruptcy, let the greedy investors take the fall). There is another way: restructure the money system by making it open source. Let the nations of the world print and issue and trade in the same dollar that the private banking system (Federal Reserve) now prints. In such a scenario, the bankers valuation disappears and with it the debt. Open source currency by definition has zero value so there is no way the private bankers can expect to collect interest and without interest the open source dollar becomes the global currency used in every exchange of values[trade] that happens in the world. Currency needs no value, it needs only to be universally recognized and globally used and globally printed as needed to accommodate between buyer and seller the time discrepancies that occur in every transaction. Open source currency returns all nation state protected economies from monopolistic to competitive..

The return of the smarmy reality show host has very quickly snuffed the huge cloud of ridiculousness that’s been hanging over the USA for years. It’s almost like the sane have defeated an uprising of the insane.
Trump is really on the case with his executive orders and pardons and proclamations flung about like the arrogant ass he is. Renaming locations on the map and revealing imperialistic intentions on neighboring countries is just about the limit for egotistical bullshit.
He promised to “drain the swamp” his first time around, then hired swamp creatures to do it. He comes off as rather naive at times. His wonderful “warp speed” vaccine proved his gullibility, but there are signs that he has learned from his misplaced trust.
The appointment of controversial iconoclasts gives hope that there might actually be a change for the better in the USA. If Musk can cut waste, if RFKjr can reign in the medical industrial complex, if Gabbard can rehabilitate the intelligence agencies…then the government might possibly regain the trust of the people.
Trump will likely pull funding for Ukraine, and possibly broker a peace deal that all sides can live with…which could mean that Ukraine will be split up between Europe and Russia. Ukraine will be eaten like pie. Perhaps that’s wishful thinking…but burying Ukraine would be good for future peace.
Israel will still be supported in their genocidal quest for territory. Israel owns Congress. Trump might bitch and moan, but he’s on board with Jewish plans for expansion. He has to be. Those overwhelming standing ovations for Netanyahu before the legislature speak loud and clear.
I’d be hopeful if I thought it might help.

Climate change is measured by the average global surface temperature as there is so much local noise. Meteorology is not climate science, its just weather.
The Daily Sceptic, please actually reference some serious scientific work. The Antarctic Ice Sheet lost mass from 2000 to 2020, with a small increase in the past few years – classic noise on a trend. Natural systems tend not to move in straight lines due to natural variation. We had exactly the same BS during the “climate change pause” that was claimed in the first decade of this century. Turned out to be noise in a long term underlying trend due to some very specific factors. Lying with statistics is easy if you pick the time period specifically to do so.
All of these games, misrepresentations etc, have been pointed out again and again, but that will not stop a hardcore of people from rejecting basic science, cognitive dissonance can be a hard thing to overcome. As can the dollars from the fossil fuel industry for many such commentators.

2000–2020 data!! Twenty years. Very impressive!
Hold the ad hominems.
Check out the links in the Chris Morrison article.
And cite something “serious” yourself.
As for subsidies, Robert Bryce has shown that renewables are far more heavily subsidized than fossil fuels.
Since I can’t find that info quickly, I asked Google’s AI for an answer:
“Do fossil fuels get more subsidies than renewables?
Fossil fuels produced 80.8 quadrillion British thermal units of energy in 2022, while renewables produced 13.3 quadrillion—meaning that, on average, renewable energy is subsidized 29 times as much as fossil energy.”

P.S.
“How much does the government subsidize renewable energy?
$15.6 billion
Renewable energy, led by wind and solar, received $15.6 billion in federal government subsidies in fiscal year 2022, far more than fossil fuels. –Oct 17, 2023”

“I am a bit content with is that all the woke, DEI, LGBTGFHT and corporate nonsense appears to be given some beating. Without the corporate world in lockstep over these meaningless things, workers would be united about wages, work-conditions and essential rights i.e. things that MATTER to most people.”

Several years ago a front-page photo on a college alumni magazine, which arrived in the mail, featured an alum who did DEI for BlackRock. My god, how the college and its students had changed since I was a student there. Unthinkable in my day, working for the monster man.
It made me wonder… When US corporations moved operations to cheaper labour markets overseas — opportunists of labour arbitrage, keeping the profits themselves and charging domestic consumers the same high prices, did this not render many college graduates here somewhat redundant?
Young people (or their parents) spent small fortunes on getting degrees from private colleges but found limited job opportunities, so make-work jobs were invented for them? Clinton’s “service economy”? And Biden made sure they were indentured if they couldn’t pay back the student debt by featuring a bill which denied bankruptcy declaration to student debt holders.
So this entire DEI schtick was partly invented to provide employment for kids who’d “invested” in an expensive education and had nowhere to go and nothing useful to do — for lack of capital and imagination?
And it coincided with a changed college curriculum, one from teaching core subjects like economic history, economics, history and the maths and sciences to teaching postmodern identity politics related goobldygook.
Exceptionalism, the scourge of harmonious polymodal civilization, will never die without the cultivation of basic societal norms teaching people to treat each other with mutual respect and equality. Regardless of whichever manifestation encountered.
For corporations, it’s all about the $. Salaried do-gooder college graduates engineering a DEI corp profile doesn’t get to the root of the problem, and prolly made it worse.

The issue he raises is about CO2 being only 0.04% and he like many others who dont understand the physics believes that such a small fraction couldnt influence climate
This type of misunderstanding may be eliminated if one is willing to go into the details of radiation transport. While that isnt trivial it is a nonetheless well understood part of physics.
Due to saturation effects in the strongest absorption lines the radiation is mainly emitted from the weaker parts of the spectrum.
That may seem paradoxical but it is due to the fact that the maximum emission from the athmosphere must happen at altitudes where CO2 is semitransparent.
If it is opaque the emission to space on that thermal wavelingth must come from higher altitudes.
As more CO2 is added weaker still parts of the spectrum will dominate. And it doesnt mean it ceases to radiate the radiation is just gradually being emitted from other parts of the spectrum.
Most of the spectrum is such that it is semitransparent at altitudes where the temperature gradient is negative and that is decisive for GW.
Were it the case that the temperature gradient was instead positive where CO2 is semitransparent for thermal radiation the net effect would have been global cooling from CO2. And to a small extent this is actually the case over antarctica. But in the Bulk of the athmosphere the net effect is a warming.
The reason the negative temperature coefficient is decisive is that when adding CO2 the altitude where semitransparency holds will rise. The new altitude where the athmosphere has its maximum emission is therefor cooler and thus radiates less due to the added CO2.
Like I said it aint trivial since the different parts of the spectrum play a role at different altitudes

Thanks for that excellent post. I’m spending a lot of time here shaking my head wondering if these people are serious. I’m leaning towards serious but misguided or outright deluded.
The difference with Trump vis a vis previous US presidents is that he states things they were silent about and kept undercover
Trump will do some good things, but as the leader of the oligarchy, do a lot of bad things. The rest of the world is getting sick of the US and it’s domineering violence and Trump will only accelerate this disgust. The thing is, as more and more states see things this way it becomes easier for them to ignore the US and harder for the US to do anything about it.

This must be the most bizarre comment thread I have read here in years. The American-dominated “plandemic plot conspiracy” discourse against the WHO should have ended years ago FFS. Or the Paris Accords, just symbolic institutions, no force of law. even if it was, the US never bothered with international laws anyway. it’s no big deal, just a way to save US money to spend on more wars. Same with cutting social security, Medicare etc.
That money will still be spent on killing millions, just not through international institutions. All “foreign Aid” the US sends anywhere, like IMF or World Bank loans, have a string of harsh self-destructive “conditions” which must be met before being considered “worthy”, then mostly only used to buy American armaments for the MIC oligarchs & bankers.
As for the trans-genderism, a 1st world trendy fad of promoting delusory mental illness &/or sexual fetishism as a public spectacle, that should never have been codified into civil law in the first place. Never had a problem, until they decided to FORCE the ideology through changing laws & education systems Yet you dudes, seem to think that sort of ideological legal & social enforcement of unscientific Orwellian reversals is quite OK, destroying women’s & children’s lives, but vaccine mandates are not? At least be consistent.

All that said, pardoning Ross Ulbricht (from my graduating class, although he wasn’t AP stream, so I never met him) was the best so far. Also men cheating in women’s sports (note: not adult non-athlete transgenders).

“As a transgender person I can speak to the “craze” whipped up around us. First point is that we’ve always been around. In some native and ancient societies, trans people were in fact accorded special status. In any event, and despite what you Bernard, or the President, or what any other bigot might say, we’re here to stay.”
Trump’s trans rollback doesn’t mean you’re required to go away, it just means you don’t get to make the rest of us pay for your choice. Do it on your own dime. And all the parents who want to earn DEI points don’t get to trans their kids anymore; the kids can decide for themselves when they turn 18. And all the predators going to prison can’t get free sex by claiming to identify as a woman to get transferred into a women’s prison with the cute cell mate. And all the second rate male athletes can’t earn their gold medal by growing their hair long and creaming their girl opponents. If you want to be trans, fine, but you can’t force us to accommodate your whims. That’s the gist of these Executive Orders.

As I’m scrolling bottom upwards this time back at the thread, I just now read your 108 statement about non-gay faux trannies invading women’s “Janes:. Please do not take that personal, as most men who are named John are not disturbed by those who reference going to the “John”.
Semantically ( I understand that is not your field of competence) one should realize that “Johns” used in such a context is a proper usage for a male comfort spot. By that semantic logic, women’s privacy zones ought to be called “Janes”, as that name for a facility would be the most logical equivalent of the male equivalent, which is frequently called “the John”.
Yes, I must confess to be a bit liberal with my utilization of the English language and its American variables. New usages of old words and introductions of new and often unique variations are the most singular indication of being a wordsmith. My developments are but a pale replication of the amazing worlks in that field in comparison with Willie the Spear shaker.
Oh well, we all try to be our best at those things we like to do best. Yes, I’m quite aware that those who are conventional traditionalists in word-smithery, can be a bit frustrated and put off by evidences of originality of thought processes. Some times verbal legerdemain can actually induce ordinal conservatives to think for themselves. Imagine that!

Juliana@108 Jan 22
So you happen to be a believer, not particularly a woman of faith but of imposed belief systems. I get that and do not how to break it to you more gently, even though I consider you as sincere in your beliefs as well as in a general sense as an individual. Among numerous other historical research areas; I have delved somewhat in to the exegetical works of those who have deeply researched thoroughly into the true history of the Canonical churches.
Calling my statement “garbage” is signatory of an outraged female of belief in the Emperor Constantine’s invention and production of the “Holy” Bible.
When I developed into a fully mature adult; I once again turned to that book into far deeper levels and armed with less gullibility and faith in “authority” than during my Lootern Sunday school years. When I encountered the Old Testicles books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, I almost lost my lunch.
The constant and consistent evilness of the Yahweh member of the Elohim was right there openly exposed to my wondering eyes. The bloodthirstiness and the hatefulness of that demonic entity as fully exposed in those two books simply shattered my previous belief system.
No Creator in his right mind would favor an alleged “Chosen People”. At that post, I began to realize that those Old Testicles were not the words of “God”. The Deuteronomists of the Age of Aries were patriarchal fanatics, denigrating women and deliberately destroying native peoples in old Palestine who had their own faiths, beliefs and traditions. Those demented followers of Yahweh were not capable of human compassion…as their states of mind had fallen into the clutches of the evil ones….the exclusivists.
As I have written in previous testimonies; I am not a Constantinian Crosstian, rather a traditional Jesusite. Jesus was the Great Spiritual teacher. This is revealed within the Gospel of Thomas and in other gospels and texts which were buried in the Qumran Caves in Egypt at a time when the ruling bishops were intent on destroying all evidence of a more spiritual approach to the teachings of Jesus. Thomas, whom the Romanites call “Doubting Thomas” was one of the twelve original Disciples.
Why did faithful Jesusites feel obliged to hide his textual recollections fo the Master?
This is a question you should ask yourself, Juliana. Why doubt the words of some of the gospels while falling into belief into the ones which were politically canonized?
Faith is innate. As spirits, we are emanations of Creator. As emanations of Creator we live eternally in many lifetimes and many dimensions.
Original sin and Heaven and Hell were not the beliefs of the original Jesusites. Imperial politics created those fear-laden belief memes. People are ruled by the self-chosen elites, primarily by imposed fear. THAT was the message of the Dark Ages…a roughly 500 year tragedy during which only the clergy were ALLOWED to be literate.

Fact: There are four sexes – male, female, both (intersex) and none. The last 2 are rare but do exist.
Fact: Gender refers to masculinity or femininity only. Until the late 80s this was applied to language, not people.
Everyone falls somewhere along that spectrum and attempts to deny that is an attempt to deny nature, which psychotic white males are exceedingly, stupidly apt to do.

The ADL just totally lost all legitimacy, rushing to insist that Musk’s inaugural Heil Hitler (warmly appreciated by Nazis worldwide) was not really a Heil Hitler.

“Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity. People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now.”

Clear comment and that is exactly how it will happen.
Trump will now take on Putin before he has to understand and that Putin will not jump the gun as the USA wants him to in order to save face.
He will threaten and possibly impose even more sanctions and even more weapons.
Sanctions will bring the USA into conflict more quickly and will quickly keep him busy with unrest in his own country, fuelled by his “friends” Democrats and friends.
Supply weapons, yes, some, completely plunder their own reserves or sell out the EU.
EU residents in their thousands will reinforce the demonstrations that are already taking place today “Ami go home” EU residents will vote much more right-wing and send their US-dependent governments to hell if the wonder boy in the wise house goes too far…in Germany alone it would be enough to stop supplying US bases with energy or to only supply them to a limited extent, to undermine services and to refuse them. And as an expert on the subject, I know that the spark is still missing, and not just in Germany!
But we’ll see what happens when the arrogant meets the objective…on the subject of Ukraine and ceasefires, etc. Putin would have to abdicate and would no longer have any support in his own country, and he would also have enemies in his own ranks if he agreed to such demands. There have been too many deaths in Russia and there are too many hardliners who are NOT afraid of the final consequences and have been relying on deterrence for a long time…
If the pressure comes from Europe, the USA can be lucky, if it clearly comes from the USA (arms delivery sanctions), the USA is a target.

You can always count on clown of alabama to side with the christian fundies and bigots regarding trannies, transexuals, queers etc and pile on the hate with such stupidity as “transexuals pose a threat to biological women by invading their spaces”; and turning reality on its head with deliberatey hysterical labels such as i.e. “gender ideology extremism”. This bullshit bigotry turns reality on its head, i.e. it is the transfolk who are most at risk of being attacked, discriminated against and even killed. clown of alabama, like Trump and his christian fundie zionist minions act as if transsexuals are taking over the world and raping women in the bathroom. Ridiculous bullshit bigotry, as usual. When is the last time you saw a transsexual? A transvestite? I never see this “gender ideology extremism” the clown of alabama so urgently warns us about, anywhere, ever. What this issue of gender identity really comes down to is narrow-minded bigotry and intolerance of an ultra-small minority of people which make up 1.4% of total U.S. population. Methinks the clown of alabama doth protest too much.

There is a lot of thinking, and it is important to remember that not only in the USA many people are putting their hopes in Trump.
In Europe in particular, all supporters expect him to solve the Ukraine problem, but the majority of these people have also realized that Trump’s approaches that have become known so far are the wrong ones. Putin will never allow himself to be blackmailed…it seems that Trump still hasn’t recognized the realities in Ukraine.
Or he is already trying to conceal this reality in order to save face.
He must find ways to present the outcome of the negotiations as a victory for himself at all costs. If he succeeds, the EU and its governments would not care at all, and the rest of the world would laugh at them and not at him.
But wait and see, one wrong step and all sympathy for him, at least in Western Europe, would be lost, and the USA as a whole cannot afford that right now. Tighten sanctions…now one answer could be to stop oil and gas deliveries from Russia for 2 weeks…oil would be the END for Trump in his own country, woe betide the Americans who have to pay at the gas station, then it would be no matter who is sitting in the white house.
Trump already knows why his slogan before the election was
“Pump, pump, pump” Venezuela will be his target before China..

I appreciate your rage, which could be regarded as constructive were you able to refrain from silly nicknames — which resembles Trumpian knuckle-dragging cuteness. This here thread has gone straight down the drain because of having started off on a sick, homophobic note.
Call me thickheaded, but I’m so clueless as to how DEI got to be an invective. Kind of like “Social Justice Warrior,” I suppose — people worried about antiquities such as “Justice” are just fodder for ridicule, in this age of white-hot flame-wars to absorb all reflective energies.
Can anyone please tell me: which letter is it in DEI that freaks people out? Diversity?
Have you ever met an unabashedly racist, sexist whiteman? Because I have, and in their case it’s clear what they have against diversity: they hold themselves the epitome of existence so jealously that it’s necessary to hate people they don’t resemble. But why do others model a bigot’s disgust for diversity? There’s nothing to distinguish the model from the real thing.
Equity? Inclusion? Is there anything at all to today’s hip antiwoke distaste for DEI, aside from good old traditional hard-boiled all-purpose bigotry?

On nicknames, a confession
It took me years to get over my abhorrence of Trump enough to write his name correctly — so I’d resort to silly nicknames which undercut any seriousness I had in mind. My abhorrence is still there, but I’ve come to realize the stink arising from Trump is an archetypically US American aroma. So he deserves the same respect I have for other cogs in the apparatus: None at all, that is, but I can’t make up nicknames for everyone and everything.
Maybe I could, but it would be unbearably tedious. I wish b would refrain from misspelling Netanyahu’s last name — as it makes the same problem I’ve created for myself at times: an impression of nonseriousness. I can’t allow myself any joking around in future; people seriously need to know when I’m serious, or else not know when I’m not serious, or something like that!

According to foreign military analysts, this is on the order of several thousand tons of weapons and equipment.

Polygyny causes huge issues as the men with the most resources/power/personal attractiveness take the vast majority of females, leaving the majority of men without a mate (or perhaps also cuckolded) and extremely frustrated and angry.
