Fifteen years ago, lawyer Omer Shatz co-filed a petition in Israel’s High Court of Justice against Yoav Gallant – then a general in the Israel Defense Forces – for alleged war crimes in Gaza. “We know you will reject this case, but if you don’t intervene, one day, in 10 years or so, this will reach the Hague,” he and his colleagues cautioned the justices.
Their prediction came true: Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant over alleged war crimes during the Israel-Gaza war.

I have been posting about the events leading up to the Oct 7th Nova Rave Party false-flag,
and wish to make a clarification.
A reminder:

“Israel” killed most of the civilians on Oct 7th using tanks and Apache helicopters.
“Israel” is in control of the evidence so we cannot know of the actual accounting.
But we do know that “Israel” is responsible for ALL of the deaths on October 7th,
not just because of the Hannibal Directive, but because of it’s intentional betrayal,
it’s so-called “failures” – designed failures! –
– a false-flag.

Again, I have been posting about the events leading up to the Oct 7th Nova Rave Party false-flag.
And have been using October the 1st as the date when “Israeli” settlers stormed al-Aqsa,
in a major, and intentional, provocation.
A clarification is in order. October 1st was certainly, as you well know, not the first occasion
this outrage had happened. But what I wanted to point out is that October 1st
was just the start of a new major offense. The storming of al Aqsa was repeated for
multiple days in early October 2023. Not just October 1st, but October 2nd, October 3rd, October 4th and
October 5th as well. [have not been able to confirm October 6th]
It was on October 4th that “Israel” decided it would be a good idea to chose a location 3 miles from
the Gaza walls for the Oct 7th Nova Rave Party. A location that put thousands of party goers situated between the Gaza wall
and the Re’im military base, a base that was named as a primary target by Hamas. And the IDF knew it.
It was also the Sabbath and a Jewish holiday. Hamas’ detailed plan, which “Israel” had captured well in advance,
said that they would conduct their jail break on a Sabbath or a Jewish holiday. These days had reduced
IDF troop levels as many were on leave. Indeed, it is estimated that 50% of the IDF troops surrounding
Gaza were on leave on October 7th, the date chosen by IDF divisional headquarters for the Nova Rave Party.
The date of October 7th for the Nova Rave Party was chosen by IDF division headquarters, who, in an unusual move, overrode the decision of the Gaza sector officers normally charged with allowing or disallowing such events. The Gaza sector officers had **disallowed** the event as it was too much of a security risk.

Trump calls for ethnic cleansing of Gaza’s population to Egypt, Jordan:
@Posted by: Vortex | Jan 26 2025 13:48 utc | 3
Wow!
Now Trump can join Netanyahu at the ICC!
My post @1 links to an article about a new “Incitement to Genocide” case brought before the ICC.
The article links to the ICC submission:
https://www.statewatch.org/media/4664/icc-submission-israel-palestine-incitement-to-genocide-6-12-24.pdf

Mass displacement can also amount to ethnic cleansing, which in itself may precede, be part of, or
even form a genocide. The UN Commission of Experts defined ethnic cleansing as “rendering an area
ethnically homogeneous by using force or intimidation to remove persons of given groups from the
area.”156 These practices can “[…] constitute crimes against humanity and can be assimilated to
specific war crimes. Furthermore, such acts could fall within the meaning of the Genocide
Convention.”157 In a context of widespread military attacks carried out against one specific group,
forced displacement may fall within the crime of ‘ethnic cleansing’, which is “a form of genocide

Trump’s outright bald-faced calling for ethnic cleansing of a million people in Gaza is one of those things that seem virtually designed to make you wonder whether Israel was entirely precognizant of Oct 7 and indeed whether Trump’s “reelection” is part and parcel of the predetermined game the US Empire is playing, without a care in the world regarding how transparent they’re being.

Without a care in the world regarding how transparent they’re being.

It’s called realpolitik. In case anyone has missed the signals being broadly telegraphed for the entire world to see, the globe is being divided into 3 spheres of influence: N America, E Europe and SE Asia via agreements (being) made by the USA, Russia and China.
W Europe, W Asia, S Asia, Africa and S America will be mutually agreed upon ‘contested zones’, subject not so much to actual kinetic confrontation, but rather an acceptance of their unsettled nature, thereby requiring stop gap measures to prevent future potential escalation.
The Palestinians, like the American Indians and countless hominid species before them, are this era’s victims of harsh reality. No one enjoys it, many are sickened, but unfortunately it’s the way nature plays out.
On the plus side, something many who are so wrapped up in rage and despair over current events seem to ignore, is that by reaching this type of mutual accord, the world actually has a chance of becoming a safer place as we step back from the prospect of nuclear conflict.

Trump’s genocidal plan. I hope the Trump fellators wake the fuck up from their delusions. Dude is an empty suit

Trump’s perspective on Gaza, which he freely shared on Monday, appeared tainted by his years as a real estate developer. Referring to a photo he had seen of the devastation in the region, Trump referred to Gaza as a “demolition site” before going on to suggest that the territory could be completely remade.
“It’s got to be rebuilt in a different way,” Trump said. “Gaza is interesting. It’s a phenomenal location. On the sea. The best weather. You know, everything is good. Some beautiful things could be done with it, but it’s very interesting. Some fantastic things could be done with Gaza.”
It’s not the first time that a member of the Trump family real estate empire has hinted that Palestine could be a developer’s paradise. In March, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner praised Gaza’s waterfront beachfront property as “very valuable.”
“It’s a little bit of an unfortunate situation there, but from Israel’s perspective I would do my best to move the people out and then clean it up,” Kushner told his interviewer

It’s intereresting that Trump used the number million and a half for the population of Gaza. He is either just making up numbers or he has been told that 500,000 – 700,000 Palestinians have been killed. There were over 2 million in Gaza before the genocide started.
And one must count the over 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank; Trump told Netanyahu he could get rid of those Palestinians years ago. He didn’t bother to mention them yesterday, or the onslaught and destruction occurring there now.
Israel has broken the cease-fire in Gaza and in Lebanon this morning:
————–
Hamas is accusing Israel of violating a ceasefire deal by blocking hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from returning to their homes in northern Gaza.
At least 15 Lebanese people, including a soldier, have been killed in southern Lebanon after the Israeli army opened fire on the day its forces were due to withdraw under a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers have continued a large-scale military operation in and near the city of Jenin, killing at least two people, including a two-year-old girl.

Ziotrump plays his hand, Aces high. I would think those that wished the Axis of Resistance to show restraint, hold off firing everything they had at the Aparthied State…….yes, each and every one here who knew better….actually knew fuck all. How’s that restraint working out, oh yeah, the Houthis are now the last hope for Palestine, even the ICC is fucking rigged.
Cheers M
…..I suppose the ceasefire’s upside, Palestinians are only dying in the hundreds daily, as opposed to thousands…..

Journalist Suhaib Al-Masalma
“The moment citizens retreated in the town of Markaba, south Lebanon, after being shot by the occupation army:
https://t.me/Sohaibpress/91287
Lebanese sources:
The occupation army is still stationed in 9 towns in southern Lebanon and is opening fire on citizens as they try to return to their homes after the 60-day deadline.
There are more than 100 wounded, 15 martyrs and about 5 detainees.
2 of the martyrs are Lebanese army soldiers and 2 others were injured.
The occupation army has not yet withdrawn from Lebanese territory as planned in the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. The occupation army withdrew from only 3 border towns this morning and retreated towards the separation fence and is still opening fire on civilians in these towns.”
Hard to tell what “Israeli” intent is in Lebanon and Gaza (whether to make a show of events, encourage renewed conflict etc.). In Gaza many thousands wait at Nezarim, estimates are 200,000 will be homeless if/when they arrive in north Gaza.

@11 Sean
Casualties aside (and that is a big aside coming from us not likely to take a bullet or be bombed), the contention is maybe outright confrontation under previous admin vs. re-forming to negotiate/confront new admin.
I don’t like to exagerate sentiment etc. , and it is easy enough to think that Palestine/Lebanon have been trampled and that there is no support from the region. However in reality we are talking many tens of millions of people who support the resistance to occupation, governments that are still very uneasy handling the chaos, as well as several million people basically trecking around as refugees.
What is “Israel” US answer to that ?
Hang out in Jordan, maybe we could build some condos near the beach would be nice.
Not a joke, it must be purposefully to humiliate and antagonise, but how much time before they run out of spite towards the Palestinians, and how twisted the plot before it falls apart ?
The Palestinians and locals will still be there, and so they will eventually succeed.

Like I said on the last Palestine thread, there is not the slightest chance of Jordan and Egypt agreeing to take in a million Palestinians each. It would mean the end of those regimes, and Trump won’t get away with browbeating Sisi and Abdullah. Bloody nose for Trump if he doesn’t pull back.
—-
“I think Trump might be facing the first snub of his presidency. If he thinks he can bully Egypt and Jordan into accepting 1.5 million Palestinians, he should think again. Both will absolutely refuse to accept Palestinians, as both regimes risk being overturned if they give way. For different reasons. The Jordanian tribes are quite jihadi by nature, and would be only too happy to throw out Abdullah if they had the opportunity, which an extra million Palestinians overloading the economy would easily do. Egypt, the military regime is not popular, and only kept in place by US military subsidies.

Can’t wait to hear how the Duran boys white wash this one.
The social media group that supported Trump in the election Ritter, the judge, Col Macgregor, Jimmy Dore and the Duran boys all thought Trump was the messiah.
They have made excuse after excuse after excuse for Trumps madness since he came back. They completely jumped the shark.Made a complete fool of themselves in the process.
Many of us on here who know a grifter when they see a griter. Marketing and advertising their grift. Knew his second term would be just like his first. An empty suit of neocon, neolib bullshit.
It just shows how powerful narratives and framing combined with a very slick marketing campaign can make the many buy any type of bullshit. They just have to package it correctly and the sheep fall for it every single time.
Hint: It will be somebody’s else’s fault the ideologues fell for Trumps bullshit.

He can annex Greenland or even declare economic war on the whole world and when there’s a new administration in 2028+ they will simply tell the world: “Look, it was him. Israel’s coalition government represents a fanatic base committed to a Greater Israel concept. Any and all ceasefire plans or withdrawal manoeuvres are anathema to this bloc, although temporary pauses may be accepted.
Trump is unusual for US leaders in that he has no inner censor, and will say out loud the things which are usually left behind closed doors. He also repeats out loud whatever topics and schemes his latest briefing consisted of. Obviously his most ardently zionist advisors have been influential since Friday, but it does not mean a mass ethnic cleansing program is about to be enshrined as policy. Somehow, Trump appears completely unaware that a plan to relocate the people of Gaza to Egypt and Jordan had already been floated, with accompanying diplomatic pressure, by the Biden administration a year ago and it got nowhere. He will likely be riffing on another tune after sitting through a briefing with different advisors and reps from the region.
Trump appears to not yet understand that Greater Israel and a stable region bound by business arrangements are not reconcilable constructs. He will in short order be forced to choose between one or the other, but the deliberation will not feature the absolute cynicism displayed by the Biden team, whereby the Greater Israel concept was fully supported while all public statements insisted otherwise.
The abrogation of the Lebanese ceasefire crystallizes where the cynical diplomatic charade leads: a tremendous amount of political capital was expended through “guarantees” of a good faith process along with the installation of political figures aligned with US interests who will literally overnight be confirmed as quisling compromisers. The story of the frog and the scorpion was used to good effect describing the nascent Cold War political environment, and it is also very applicable to the contemporary Levant.

Did Biden’s plan involve forcible relocation against the will of the Palestinians? The problem for Trump is that Jordan and Egypt do not want to accept any Palestinians. Trump will try to change their minds through blackmail and bribery. But I have no doubt that Trump will not hesitate to use force to drive Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank.

Saudi will tell him the facts during his proposed visit, if nothing else. No Arab regime wants to be out of power, but that’s what’s at risk. Not even MbS can agree.

Donald Trump is a despicable human being, that is the long and the short of it.
As such he can only be exactly such a President, which he has demonstrated from the moment he was sworn in
(just like in his first term).
The problem is that too many are surprised, or simply refuse to see him, and or call him what he is – a disgraceful, despicable human who will without a shadow of a doubt cause a lot of harm in his new term.
According to Al Jazeera this is what he said:
“I would like Egypt to take people,” Trump said. “You’re talking about probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing and say: ‘You know, it’s over.’”
Trump said he complimented Jordan for having successfully accepted Palestinian refugees and that he told the king, “I would love for you to take on more, ‘cause I am looking at the whole Gaza Strip right now, and it’s a mess. It’s a real mess.”
Trump said Gaza’s inhabitants could be moved “temporarily or could be long term”.
“It is literally a demolition site right now, almost everything is demolished and people are dying there,” he said.
“So, I would rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing in a different location, where they can maybe live in peace for a change.”
This tells you everything about Trump.
To have any positive expectations from such a man is delusional and irresponsible.

By the way,
forcing the Palestinians out of Gaza to Egypt and Jordan, or anywhere else, is not at all a matter of whether these vasalle states, or any other, will want to take them in
it is solely a matter of the Palestinians, who will not leave their land. Under any circumstances, as they have demonstrated forever, and more recently today, yesterday and every day for the last for 15 months that they have been subjected to all forms of genocide by the arch-criminal Zionists of Israel and their lord-master the arch-terrorist United States of America.

If the only way for humans to avoid nuclear armegeddon is for millions of innocent people who have been shoved around for decades to be murdered, if there is no other way to find a more reasonable answer than that we have to suck it up, lie back and “think of England”, then there is no hope for humans at all.
There is no reason that a few elite people get to force us into a choice of either nuclear annihilation or death by other means and they get to pick who dies. What this means is that the wrong humans are in charge. It doesn’t mean the rest of us have to tolerate being massacred every so often.
And, by the way, it is NOT the way “nature plays out”. It’s the way some humans choose to act toward others.

Donald “Adelson” Trump entered his office about a week ago and waltzes like an elephant in a porcelain shop. Maybe he will partially succeed in his genocidal plans by arm twisting Jordan which is basically a colony. But with Egypt those chances are next to zero. And why would they want to inherit the problems created by its genocidal neighbor who are basically eastern European settlers who have no genetic connection to that area? Egypt already had issues in the past in the Sinai.
Some dude once said: “the three grand imperatives of imperial geo-strategy are to prevent collusion and maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together.”
The former administration nominally headed by a walking corpse more or less succeeded in the first two but failed with the latter. Trump will fail in all three, again. Let’s see how far he will be allowed to get in Making America Go Away.

I suspected that Trump would abandon Ukraine to concentrate on Greater Israel.
We’re already seeing Trump and the Republicans portrayed in a more approving way in the Western media. Democrats are being downplayed, and the media is acting like everyone always knew that the Bidens were corrupt, and all Democrats are to blame for covering it all up.
Israel is miffed by progressives coming out and criticizing the treatment of the Palestinians, so they seem to be getting some pretty heavy flak in the mainstream media. From what I can tell, Jews are freaked out about the genocide label applied to them. It’s a very hard stain to remove, but Israel will accept it so long as they secure the lands thier god promised them, and are able to create the Greater Israel they long for.
…not that I think that the Israeli leadership really sincerely believes religious bullshit, but it sure comes in handy when trying to convince people that they are somehow justified in slaughtering native peoples to obtain their lands.
After all, conquest is a Western tradition. There’s really nothing unusual here except that worldwide condemnation spreads much faster than it used to.
My prediction is that they will never live it down, but they will someday sip cocktails on the beach in Gaza while soaking up the profits from Gaza gas.
Same as it ever was…the informed and connected oppressing the weak and helpless.
Situation normal.

According Google, January 27 is (Never Again) Holocaust forgetfullness day, masquerading as Holocaust Remembrance Day.
It’s a day devoted to jews Remembering to whine about their Favourite Holocaust whilst Forgetting about their genocidal Palestinian Holocaust.
When Holocaust Remembrance day comes around each year, it usually reminds me that, when Paul Keating was PM of Oz, Mahatthir Mohamed of Malaysia asserted that “Jews rule the World by proxy.”
He was severely and publicly reprimanded by Keating, thus more or less reinforcing the point Mahatthir was making.

Their interest isn’t in human development or justice.
It is invited to all the right parties and has access to inside gossip for “scoops.”

I was wondering how many 2000 lb bombs were being sent to Israel in Trump’s new batch of weapons. Truns out it is 1800 bombs.
———–
US President Donald Trump has approved the delivery of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel, overturning a suspension imposed by the administration of former President Joe Biden last year, Axios and Reuters reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.
According to Israeli officials who spoke to Axios on condition of anonymity, “1,800 MK-84 bombs, which were held in storage in the US, will be put on a ship and delivered to Israel in the coming days.”[…]

Mark W @ 6:
Your expressed attitude and level of knowledge about Palestine and the neighbouring countries, and of past Western colonialism towards colonised peoples generally, are appalling, to say the least.
Egypt and Jordan are in no position to accept 2 million Palestinians, politically and economically. Such acceptance will be unpopular with the general public in those nations, which have enough problems of their own. These nations’ environmental resources, especially their water resources, are also strained.
If anything, accepting huge numbers of refugees at a time when they are dealing with water supply issues is likely to cause more political instability and increase the chances of major war including nuclear war – because political weakness and instability in its neighbourhood (Iraq, Lebanon, Syria) to date have worked in Israel’s favour.
Which would be why Israel favours pushing all the Palestinians to its other neighbours: to destabilise them as well, perhaps in hopes of grabbing parts of their territory to advance its Eretz Israel project.
These are all conscious and deliberate decisions made by people who care only about holding onto power and looking good in front of their audiences. The only “natural” thing about these decisions is the stupidity and ignorance of the decision-makers and their failure to realise that repeating the mistakes and failures of the past results in more and bigger mistakes and failures.

Between October ’23 and June last year already “at least 14,000” 2,000lb mk84 were sent, with the one shipment delayed according to
https://www.arabnews.com/node/2539771/middle-east
“The 2000 lb bombs, made by the American arms manufacturer General Dynamic and Ordinance Tactical System, have a blast radius that can kill people 360 m away from the point of detonation and can cause severe injury and damage building infrastructure 800 m away. Data analysis showed at least one bomb crater within 800 m of 83% percent of the 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, and nine of those hospitals had 2000 lb bomb craters within 360 m. Most hospitals in Gaza had several bomb craters within dangerous proximity.” Harvard Oct 24

Republic of Scotland @ 52, 53:
One curious aspect of the Sydney graffiti incidents is that so far they are concentrated in the Jewish community in the eastern suburbs. The Jewish community in northern Sydney has so far not reported any similar incidents.
The eastern suburbs region is more accessible to other, poorer areas of Sydney by public transport (convenient train and bus links) and is well known, not just locally but internationally with tourists, backpackers and immigrants (esp from Brazil) because it is close to Bondi Beach. So the Jewish community in this part of Sydney is more exposed, as it were, to instigators (both pro and anti-Zionist alike) seeking to make trouble and stir up divisions.
Individuals have already been arrested in connection with the graffiti incidents. They appear to be people already known to police as troublemakers. Most of them have Anglo names.
The speculation about foreign agents and governments paying for these graffiti incidents has come from the neoliberal, pro-Zionist camps in Canberra. Plus one wouldn’t trust anything that comes from Anthony Albanese – a fellow clearly out of his depth as a politician, let alone Prime Minister.

Trump and Bibi the Butcher have zero chance to deporting 2.5 million Palestinians to Jordan or Egypt.
One – Jordan and Egypt will not accept them under any circumstances, full stop.
Secondly – this is their own country, and not Israel’s, and they have lived in this area for over 2000 years, not so for the Jews from Eastern Europe and Spain. They will never surrender their own land in Gaza or Samaria or Judea to the interlopers, now actively engaged in stealing their homes, farms, pastures and vineyards. They will never surrender, just the IRA which fought the Brits from 1916 until 1998………..
This episode is only a pause in the continuing war for Palestinian self determination and restoration of lost lands and homes and businesses.
Has anyone seen the absolute devastation of Gaza City and of Rafah? Very few homes left standing, a complete genocidal attack on a innocent civilian population, and yet Hamas and PIJ have basically survived the carpet bombings and are recruiting new members!!!
They even staged a military parade to celebrate the hostage release in Gaza proving once again that far from being decimated, they are an active potent force, just ask the thousands of IDF troops wounded by the insurgents.
Just a pause……more to come….

@59 Mary
To be fair, many in the west are deeply rooted in the western cold war paradigm, nuclear deterrence and M.A.D.
The ‘war to end all wars’ was not a light event and could have continued, or repeated since. Previous centuries were also full of wars. So people who view the world this way are thankful for or respectful of the three quarter of a century of ‘relative peace’ since.
This however ignores the reality of non proliferation nations, the endless ‘smaller’ conflicts that have taken place to the periphery of the ‘great powers’ and often at their behest.
What is occuring to my view is expansion of that western/great power order, and it is also globalist in nature. We are supposed to be thankful to these authorities for the peace, for deterring war. It is obviously a contradiction in terms, going on Stockholm Syndrome.
But all the same, those in the west are generally thankful for a time of peace, and so in some unusual way it also adds up.
What exactly was ‘practiced’ on Iran and Lebanon is another mystery, and it does have the appearance of a very great threat being made known to them.
Much of this is also social management, and so it spills into facets of governance and so on. Younger generations and those nations outside of the paradigm are not as obedient to the sense of fear used, and so it possible that that is being re-installed by current events (from pandemic to genocide to brinkmanship in eastern europe).
But yes, it isn’t exactly mutual and is more like a form of tolerance that is pragmatic but not due.

Sorry for the typo………”they will never surrender just like the IRA which fought the Brits from 1916 to 1998″……

Plus for now they still occupy parts of Lebanon and Syria, have UN/US oversight of the ‘border’.
Plus time to adjust/adjust to new US admin policy etc.

You’ll never look at charities the same way again.
“Throughout Israel’s assault on Gaza, people up and down Britain saw a live-streamed genocide on their phones, horrified that this slaughter was supported by their government.
But in the background, there is another phenomenon happening, which is not receiving nearly as much attention.
For over a year now, UK-based ‘charities’ have been making a mockery of the charity sector, supporting a genocide with no regulatory consequences.
There are countless examples of this in the last year. Take the Oxford and Cambridge colleges with charity status investing in arms firms and companies complicit in illegal settlements.
Or perhaps Achisomoch Aid Company, a charity accused of providing fundraising services to an Israeli group that supplies “combat and tactical equipment” to Israeli soldiers?
Or what about UK Toremet, the fundraising charity accused of sending UK Gift Aid to settler groups to block humanitarian aid from entering Gaza?
And then of course, there is the Jewish National Fund (JNF) – a goliath compared to some of the other charities listed above – who we believe the UK sanctions unit, the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), must probe. ”

White House press release says agreement reached to extend Israel’s presence inside Lebanon to Feb 18, but there is no confirmation of such agreement from Lebanese officials.
Macron apparently phoned Netanyahu earlier to implore respect for the original deadline. “The president of the republic stressed to the prime minister the importance of ensuring that nothing compromises the efforts of the new Lebanese authorities to restore the authority of the state throughout the territory of their country,” the Elysee Palace said. (AFP)
The installation of the new Lebanese government so to enforce the measures of UNSC1701 was an important strategic accomplishment for both France and US. Bad form to allow Israel to compromise the deal, particularly when it had been “guaranteed”. It enhances Hezbollah’s reputation and diminishes the new governing coalition.

The Orange Yankee POTUS – wants to remove every Palestinian from Gaza – sending the ones that the Zio-Nazi’s haven’t killed “yet” to Egypt and Jordan. The Yankee government – is of course part of the problem and the Yankee people are too gutless to reel in their murdering POTUS, and Senate who support the genocide – the spineless Brits are the same along with the Germans.
“Palestinian resistance groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad have condemned a plan floated by US President Donald Trump to “clean out” the Gaza Strip.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday, Trump suggested cleaning out the Palestinian land and relocating the war-stricken people there to neighboring Arab countries, namely Egypt and Jordan.
“You’re talking about probably a million and half people … I’d like Egypt to take people. And I’d like Jordan to take people,” he said. “[W]e just clean out that whole thing,” he said.
Trump added that he expected to talk to Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi on Sunday.
In the meantime, the Palestinian leaders and people in Gaza condemned any attempt to relocate them, saying such a move is reminiscent of a dark page in Palestine’s modern history known as the “Nakba” or catastrophe – when millions of Palestinians were forcibly displaced to create room for Israel’s illegal creation. ”

“The US president has lifted a ban on transfer of a single shipment of 2,000-pound (900-kilogram) bombs to the occupied Palestinian territories, which had been frozen by his predecessor in a token criticism of the Israeli regime’s ferocious bombardment of densely-populated areas in the Gaza Strip with American ammunition.
Donald Trump eliminated the prohibition that had been imposed by Joe Biden on Saturday, American news and analysis website Axios reported, citing Israeli officials.

Maybe the Taliban will put a bounty on Rubio’s head.
“In a drastic shift from the old administration, the United States’ new administration has taken a tough stance against Afghanistan’s leadership, threatening the ruling Taliban leaders with placing a “big bounty” on their heads.
Last week, media reports said the Biden administration and the Taliban had successfully accomplished a deal to exchange prisoners.
However, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a harsh warning via social media to Taliban leaders on Sunday.
In the early morning post, the new top US diplomat claimed that the Taliban was holding “more American hostages” than reports said.
Rubio warned that the bounty placed on their heads might be even bigger than the one offered for Osama bin Laden, the Al-Qaeda leader killed in Pakistan by US forces in 2011.
“If this is true, we will have to immediately place a VERY BIG bounty on their top leaders, maybe even bigger than the one we had on bin Laden,” he said.
The US had placed a $25 million bounty on the head of bin Laden.
Rubio’s harsh warning to the Taliban leaders comes just days after American prisoners held in Afghanistan were exchanged for an Afghan imprisoned in the US.”

Jenan Moussa
@jenanmoussa
1/ Worrying reports coming out of Syria of mass executions on Thursday in Alawite village of Fahel, near Homs. Acc to villagers, gunmen attacked Fahel and killed 58 men. In nearby village of Maryamin 2 men killed. I’m talking to people on the ground, this is what I learned:
2/ This is the region where it took place. Fahel, Maryamin and Shin. Northwest of Homs and southwest of Hama.
3/ Syrian authorities led by HTS declared days ago already that there was a security operation ongoing in rural areas west of Homs. The aim of these operations was, according to the new rulers, to flush out pro-Assad-regime elements.
4/ As most killings happened in Fahel, let me start with that village. According to people I spoke to, on Thursday 23/01/2025 armed men in vans &pick-ups raided Fahel, an Alawite village. They randomly started shooting, vandalized houses and arrested dozens of men.
5/ According to witnesses, the armed men beat villagers, men, women, elderly people. Religious symbols were vandalized, homes looted. As this was going on, the Damascus-Fahel bus arrived in the village. Two men were taken off the bus and killed on the spot.
6/ I could not confirm who the gunmen in Fahel were. Some sources say it was HTS, others claim it was too chaotic to be sure. A source says that the attackers came from nearby villages.
7/ After the gunmen left, villagers claim to have counted 58 people killed. All killed are men. Some bodies were found along roads near Fahel, others dumped by the gunmen in a nearby hospital.
8/ Also the village of Maryamin, near Fahel, was raided by gunmen on that same Thursday. I spoke to a witness who is in Maryamin. (btw, Maryamin is half Alawite and half Murshidiyyah, an offshoot of the Alawite sect). This is what I was told:
9/ Around noon on Thursday gunmen entered Maryamin. They came from the southern side. They had various “doshkas” with them (doshka in Syria is heavy machinegun mounted on back of pick-up). Men were carrying machine guns. They were shooting randomly as they entered the village.
10/ Source continues: They entered houses. They stole all valuables, hit men hard. They brought down picture of Suleiman al-Murshid (founder of Murshidiyya sect). They told people to step on his picture. This is a red line, ppl refused. Villagers were hit harder.
11/ Source continues: Gunmen wanted to humiliate people, forced men to bark as dogs. They took a lot of guys with them, especially previous soldiers and former policemen. They hit them hard and took them away. One person was executed on the spot because of his background.
12/ Source continues: One group who is with HTS came to the houses first, checked things and left in a respectful way – did not steal. Then around 100 militants came in white vehicles, no signs/ logos on it. They referred to themselves as group of Abu Khaled and Abu Sufyan.
13/ I didn’t manage to find out what happened in third village of Shin. Apparently, this village was also raided on Thursday. But I could not reach a witness there. Electricity and internet a big problem. Villagers in Fahel & Maryamin ask international media to visit & report.
14/ Villagers stress that nobody opposed the gunmen. Nobody had guns. However, people admit that some of the men had served in the Syrian army. But most of these ex-soldiers already handed over their guns to HTS, they claim.
15/ On Friday, the HTS governor of Homs arrived in Maryamin. He told villagers that HTS will find the culprits and punish them. Also stolen goods will be returned, he said. Since the bloodshed on Thursday, demonstrations have been ongoing in the area.
16/ A group of credible activists from Homs named “Civil Peace Group” have issued this statement regarding the situation in Homs western countryside.
17/ I heard that the Civil Peace Group is preparing a new, updated statement soon, also covering the situation in Fahel. Also, the White Helmets were asked for help in locating the bodies and returning them to their families.
18/ Western Homs countryside is a very volatile region. A patchwork of villages with different religions and loyalties. Same area where Houla massacre took place in 2012, when in town of Taldou 108 people were killed by pro-government forces. Taldou is located 12 km from Fahel.
19/ UPDATE: I have spoken to more witnesses and people on the ground in western Homs countryside. The following is clear to me: The bodies of 16 men who were killed by gunmen have already been buried. Up to 35 men are still missing. The villagers urgently ask international organizations in Syria to help find the missing.
Of the 16 men killed, 13 were former soldiers or officers in the Syrian Arab Army (Assad’s army). All these ex-soldiers had already started and finished the settlement process with HTS. This means that former soldiers hand over their guns to HTS. In return they receive a paper which mentions that their case has been settled. With this paper you can, ideally, pass checkpoints and sit safely at home.
Earlier, after the fall of the Assad regime, HTS had already been for five days present in the village of Fahel to issue these settlement papers. Most of the men from the village settled with HTS and were given the “aman”. (“Aman” is an Arabic word that means “assurance for safety”).

FYI, many Muslims consider Mehdi a Western tool. A modern-day “House Nigger”.
Anything he says about Palestine should elicit skepticism.

I’ve read that – that Orange Yankee SOB POTUS – has picked out a sweet piece of land in Gaza for a beach resort and golf course.
“But make no mistake: this is the advancement of an agenda to end the existence of the Palestinian people in their historic homeland, and would fulfill the darkest desires of the most depraved political factions in Israel.
Mere days after the Hamas attack on Oct. 7 2023, Israel’s Intelligence Ministry produced a document proposing the removal of Gaza’s population to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
At around the same time, an Israeli think tank called the Misgav Institute for National Security & Zionist Strategy published a paper arguing that “There is at the moment a unique and rare opportunity to evacuate the whole Gaza Strip in coordination with the Egyptian government.”
Since that time both the Israeli government and the Israeli media have gotten much less shy about saying that ethnic cleansing is the plan for Gaza.
A few weeks ago multiple far-right Knesset members wrote a letter to Israeli defense minister Israel Katz demanding the “complete cleansing” of northern Gaza using siege warfare and attacks on civilians to drive the population out of the area.
In November of last year, former Israeli defense minister Moshe Yaalon stated unequivocally that Israel was indeed in the process of ethnically cleansing Gaza. In October, the Israeli outlet Haaretz published an editorial titled “If It Looks Like Ethnic Cleansing, It Probably Is”.”

Associated Press: “Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said in a statement addressing the people of southern Lebanon on Sunday that ‘Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable, and I am following up on this issue at the highest levels to ensure your rights and dignity.'”
22 Lebanese civilians trying to return to their villages earlier in the day were shot dead by IDF, with many others wounded.
Israel will not leave southern Lebanon, and now has three additional weeks to create a pretext for continuing occupation..

More on the actions of that Orange Yankee SOB.
“On his first day in office, Donald Trump lifted all sanctions previously placed on Israeli settlers in the West Bank, a political move that coincided with a series of violent attacks by Israeli settlers targeting Palestinians that same night.
On Monday night, with the backing of the Israeli military, settler groups launched a series of violent assaults on residents in the West Bank. The most severe attacks occurred in two villages near Qalqilya, where masked settlers set fires and fired indiscriminately.
Amid the chaos, Israeli soldiers deployed tear gas against villagers attempting to flee, leaving 21 people injured.”

Trump kept Jared Kushner out of sight of the cameras until the Election Win, suddenly in his usual fashion mini-me was bouncing around like Elon Musk II. What great opportunities now that the Father-in-Law that he abandoned is back in the saddle.
Images of Kushner Villas by the Med, and the Trump/Auschwitz International Hotel and Golf Course on the Gaza Graveyard Strip, must be dancing in his chosen cabbage head, like sugar plumbs.

Is that a fake LoveDonbass or did he actually call someone protesting against genocide a genocider as a personal attack?

“You’re talking about probably a million and half people”
@ Republicofscotland | Jan 26 2025 23:14 utc | 79

2.2m – 1.5m = 700,000 Gazans killed, so far, according to Trump.
That’s about 15 times the (Hamas Health Ministry) official count. For a real-estate developer, the number of people to relocate isn’t something you’d habitually round down, or underestimate. My bet is The Man has an inside track on the current death-toll in Gaza.

Btw iirc “Genocide Trump” has now messed up faster than he did last time.

White House announces extension of Lebanon-‘Israel’ ceasefire deal
The White House has announced that Lebanon and “Israel” will begin mediated talks for the release of Lebanese citizens detained by “Israel”.
….However, Israeli occupation forces partially withdrew from some areas in southern Lebanon, while continuously violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement, by raiding, bombing, and demolishing areas in southern Lebanon and elsewhere in the country.
Meanwhile, Lebanese residents were quick to mobilize and gather near the villages, in an attempt to force the withdrawal of occupation forces from their hometowns, following the expiration of the time limit for retreat.
As a result, occupation forces withdrew from multiple villages after both Lebanese citizens and the Lebanese Army entered the towns. Yet, Israeli forces continue to occupy several towns, under the false pretext of a slow takeover of the villages by the Lebanese Army.

“Office of the Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati:
Continuing work under the ceasefire understanding until February 18.
I consulted with Presidents Aoun and Berri regarding the developments in the south and the results of the contacts that took place with the American side.
The committee is following up on the implementation of all the provisions of the ceasefire understanding and the implementation of Resolution 1701.
The Lebanese government confirms that it will remain committed to the ceasefire agreement with Israel until February 18 ”

It wasn’t a personal attack. None of us know Jane IRL and “she” has posted in support of past American ethnic cleansing.
Make of it what you will, sad attempt at earning good-boy points on the internet.

Do you know of one petition that achieved the desired effect in the last 50 years?
There was a time when “leaders” took petitions seriously.
Now they are a cope and an anachronism.
They didn’t work for Assange, and they haven’t saved any lives in Palestine or Lebanon. Rather than volunteering for a watch list (which is what joining an online petition is), find more ways to communicate government crimes instead of begging to be heard like some sort of servant or supplicant.
