next page »The well known Zionist - Rupert Murdoch's news channel SKY News - broadcasting live the release of some of the Israeli hostages -the proposed release time is 2pm UK time.
Even in the release of illegally held Palestinian women and children - the Zionists are pure evil.
"THE ISRAELI Prison Service has said it will be taking measures to prevent any “public displays of joy” when prisoners are released as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
A statement by the prison service says this is to “limit shows of joy” among Palestinians as they don’t want people celebrating in the occupied West Bank or occupied East Jerusalem."

The woman was seen marching to and fro with a placard accusing Palestinians of killing babies – seemingly a reference to long-debunked allegations made by the Israeli government to try to justify its genocide in Gaza – in an apparent attempt to incite an incident. Then, when the pro-Palestinian marchers ignored her, she punched one of them in the face several times and was arrested by police officers.https://skwawkbox.org/2025/01/18/exclusive-israel-supporter-arrested-after-punching-anti-genocide-marcher/

Reposting my latest post to this new thread:
This life-saving ceasefire is not the end of conflict for the realisation of the right of the Palestinian people to the entirety of its land, historic Palestine; the right of the Palestinian people to freedom from colonial oppression and to self-determination.
There will be war in Palestine and west Asia as long as Zionist Israel exists, and until it is dissolved.
While a peaceful solution to the century-old the Palestine question is possible, it is only theoretical in the current balance of power and a world order based on domination and the prevalence of the capitalist system rooted in relentless exploitation of man and the Earth.
The struggle for Palestine continues until there are no more refugee camps for Palestinians anywhere, until the Palestinians can reclaim their land, stolen properties and their full freedom from foreign interference so that this capable people can live with dignity according to their wishes, dreams and vision.
And to all those who keep going on about how Israel needed this pause to prepare for the next aggression -
they seem to ignore the hard fact that the Palestinian resistance, and the Resistance Front, exist, have not been weakened and that they, too, will use the absence of genocide, to grow stronger and wiser to the treachery and scheming against them.
The fight is not over, but the outcome is certain, however long it takes. Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea.

1 - I have seen this at previous protests - the Zios try to provoke protesters, who fail to rise to the bait, wisely. This one clearly lost patience and went for assault.

I hope the rest of the world can resist the US presure and find a permanent solution for Palestine.
There is not much time to bring the terrorist state to justice.
They will continue as usual, steal, murder at a slower pace until they escalate again.

Israel is a disgusting terrorist state and Western support for that genocidal fanatic rogue state and its starvation and murder of civilians robs the West of any moral arguments in any realm in perpetuity. I am ashamed.

Please stop posting such stupid things. What we think and say often becomes who we are.
99% of Israelis do not support Bibi.
There are many Jews who oppose the existence of Israel but the media never lets anyone hear from them.
Yes, Jews have a long and deserved history of double-dealing and betrayal. Their racial supremacism was fertile ground for Zionism. If you want to hold Jews to account, I suggest you be willing to do the same for whites, as generally they are guilty of even worse crimes if we're engaging in collective blame.

Lol. The ziofascist Crown entity shoots itself in the foot following yesterdays protest for Palestine in London.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/clykrvp1g83o
‘MPs Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell have agreed to be interviewed under caution by police following a pro-Palestinian rally in central London on Saturday, the BBC understands.’
How the foot shooting? Because…
This is probably the first time in ages the msm bbc state broadcaster has reported one of the many regular gatherings and marches in Central London reaching into hundreds of thousands.
This particular Corbyn kicking hasbara report will backfire and millions who have been deprived the knowledge of such regular protests will now become more activated.
Locally all over the country and by multiplying future attendees at the London protests. By attacking him they make him more powerful again - go’rn Jezza!
Bang. Ouch.

I didn't expect Scientific American to have an article about "Israelis" and Victimhood,
but here it is.
Speaking about people in general everywhere, Victimhood is a natural personal state developed
after a variety of life's traumas. From that state, it is necessary to learn, understand and forgive,
and then it is healthy to progress, develop and move on. But some, for various reasons,
become stuck in the Victimhood state. They can discover a selfish power that that state of
Victimhood bestows upon them, others may develop a group identity in Victimhood.
Moving from the general population to speaking of "Israelis" in particular.
Why are "Israelis" so aggressive and violent? Why do they create pain and suffering for
others while lacking any morsel of compassion, any awareness of the pain and suffering
they create? Why do they believe they are just and right while committing the worst forms of war crimes?
And if the thousands upon thousands of movies, books, memorials, museums, and more, have
only served to incite "Israelis" to commit Genocide, to perpetuate the state of Victimhood,
then should not that incitement be condemned, shunned and banned?
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/unraveling-the-mindset-of-victimhood/
Based on clinical observations and research, the researchers found that the tendency for interpersonal victimhood consists of four main dimensions: (a) constantly seeking recognition for one’s victimhood, (b) moral elitism, (c) lack of empathy for the pain and suffering of others, and (d) frequently ruminating about past victimization....are so preoccupied with their own victimhood that they are oblivious to the pain and suffering of others. Research shows that people who have just been wronged or who are reminded of a time when they were wronged feel entitled to behave aggressively and selfishly, ignoring the suffering of others and taking more for themselves while leaving less to others.
...
At the group level, research suggests that increased attention to an in-group’s victimization reduces empathy toward the adversary as well as toward unrelated adversaries. Even just the priming of victimhood has been shown to increase ongoing conflicts, with the priming leading to reduced levels of empathy toward the adversary and people being more willing to accept less collective guilt for current harm. In fact, research on “competitive victimhood” shows that members of groups involved in violent conflicts tend to see their victimization as exclusive and are prone to minimize, belittle or outright deny their adversary’s suffering and pain.
A group that is completely preoccupied with its own suffering can develop what psychologists refer to as an “egoism of victimhood,” whereby members are unable to see things from the perspective of the rival group’s perspective, are unable or unwilling to empathize with the suffering of the rival group, and are unwilling to accept any responsibility for harm inflicted by their own group.
...
Similar findings have been found at the group level. A strong sense of collective victimhood is associated with a low willingness to forgive and an increased desire for revenge. This finding has been replicated in diverse contexts, including thinking of the Holocaust, the conflict in Northern Ireland and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Instead of healing from the state of Victimhood, "Israel" seeks to perpetuate it, and descend further
into the "Dark Side" of violence, self-centered needs, theft and aggression.
The main temple for Victimhood and Holocaust worship is in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem.
All new IDF recruits are made to visit Yad Vashem with the goal of teaching the recruits, "Why we fight".

Colonel Macgregor worked under Trump, devised the evacuation from Afghanistan that was muffed by the succeeding administration, and is the sharpest critic of the influence exerted by the interest groups in Washington. My own view is that that influence, in the case of Berlin/Brussels as well as in the case of Washington and London, has a determining influence on foreign policy in all those power centres so I attend to what Colonel Macgregor says.
Here he's throwing a bucket of cold water over the hopes - my hopes too! - that the change of administration in Washington heralds a change for the better in the Middle East. A report in Haaretz, if accurate, supports his reservations.

1) His trial in "Israel" for corruption can move forward.
2) An official inquiry into the so-called "failures" that supposedly
caused the disaster of October 7th
can be formed.
3) A decisive split in his ruling coalition.

Poor Francis needs to state clearly what is the "left" state solution, and what is the "wrong" state solution. The past 471 days of atrocities and yet the head of the Catholic church speaks of two states! Is he aware that apartheid Rhodesia is non existent. Is the Catholic church owned by the Jews!_

A minor technicality delays the ceasefire. Israel decides to use the advantage to kill some more civilians:
“Immediately after the 8.30am deadline, Israel began striking Gaza with warplanes, drone fire and artillery. Attacks were reported in Gaza City, Beit Hanoun in the north, and Khan Younis and Rafah in the south. Fighter jets were also spotted flying at low attitude. Emergency responders said 19 Palestinians were killed and 36 wounded between 8.30am and the ceasefire finally coming into force at 11.15am…Israel said it was hitting ‘terror targets’ on Sunday morning. However, Palestinian civilians told MEE they were being targeted as they tried to return to their homes.”
Its difficult to fathom what motivates the heartless embrace of cruelty and the casual practice of sanctioned bloodlust.

This private company helps to keep the English military spy planes flying over Gaza to pick out Palestinian targets to bomb.
"Tucked away behind Bournemouth airport is a hangar emblazoned with the words Gama Aviation. This site in southern England has been a key node in the Royal Air Force (RAF) spy programme above Gaza.
Gama provides “engineering services including design, maintenance and repair” for the RAF’s six-strong fleet of Shadow R1 surveillance planes.
Without Gama’s technical support and deep knowledge of the planes, the RAF would have struggled to maintain almost daily surveillance flights over the besieged Palestinian territory since December 2023."

CBC has consistently and relentlessly supported USrael's genocide, Canada's assistance and complicity and attacked anti-genocide protesters.

Hello Bernhard and participants at the Moon of Alabama public forum.
To not break with tradition which started here at this website, and to inform those who follow the Armenian saga at prophet.am I would like to inform those interested that there is another publication on my domain.
It is my response to the Americans who recently made a declaration of “strategic partnership” towards the Armenians.
You will find my response to the Americans here:

It's likely my last publication concerning these circumstances.
God will show what's next.

On the latest episode of The Chris Hedges Report, I talked to two brave student activists from MIT who helped expose their school’s direct role in research and development for Israel’s genocide. Their story exemplifies the repression students face for simply questioning institutional roles in genocide, as one of them was punished for literally standing in line and expressing his concerns to a Lockheed Martin recruiter. To MIT, this constituted “harassment” and grounds for suspension.

The Pistachio Pact - Is the Russian-Iranian Strategic Agreement the Nut or the Shell?
"...In the English version of the new treaty it is also evident how the Russians and Iranians have left out what they failed to agree to say or do towards their enemy.
Read carefully, just six weeks after the two presidents did not agree on military cooperation to stop the Turkish, Israeli and American invasions of Syria, and its partition, this looks to one military observer as 'a declaration of maybe - we promise to be nice to each other, when possible, perhaps..."

definitely close to 8-10% of the population, over 180,000 Palestinians in Gaza, have been outright killed, or died from wounds and lack of health care/food/housing etc etc
the Lancet study makes that perfectly clear. 10s of thousands of bodies haven't been found, were quickly buried, are under the rubble or are unreported to a Health Ministry System that fell apart almost a year ago.
this genocide and ethnic cleansing is the crime of the 21st century.
https://x.com/ejmalrai/status/1880970986436079756
Elijah J. Magnier 🇪🇺 @ejmalrai
The astonishing reality:
10% of the population of Gaza has been killed and/or wounded, thousands buried under the rubble, and yet the Palestinians feel victorious and proud, and the occupiers feel defeated. It is a question of the soul and spirit of the original owners versus the defeated spirit of the criminal killer occupiers.
Israel will ask Benjamin Netanyahu, accused of war crimes by the ICC, what have you achieved? Where are your promises of "total victory" and the "defeat of Hamas"? Will you admit your failure and your responsibility? Why did you prolong the war for another 7-8 months in order to agree later on the same deal you proposed?
https://x.com/ChrisLynnHedges/status/1879624145350369519
Chris Hedges @ChrisLynnHedges
Israel, going back decades, has played the same duplicitous game. It signs a deal with the Palestinians that is to be implemented in phases. The first phase gives Israel what it wants—in this case the release of the hostages—but Israel habitually fails to implement subsequent phases that would lead to a just and equitable peace.
Hamas is seeking a permanent ceasefire. But Israel says it retains the right to re-engage militarily. There is no agreement about who will govern Gaza. Israel has made it clear that the continuance of Hamas in power is unacceptable. There is no mention of the status of UNWRA, the U.N. agency that Israel has outlawed and that provides the bulk of the humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, most of whom have been displaced. There is no agreement on the reconstruction of Gaza, much of which lies in rubble. And of course, there is no route to an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.
There are many, many ways this can fall apart, as I expect it eventually will. But let us rejoice that, at least for the moment, the mass slaughter has stopped.

If the latest agreement results in peace and an end to hostilities that would be welcome news.
But don't forget that the genocide state has congratulated itself for its schemes of pager explosions, political assassinations and unlawful programs of bombing neighboring territories.
Some have suggested that after all hostage releases an excuse will be found to resume ethnic cleansing and that might involve relocation of Gaza people to Indonesia or other distant points.
Any arrangement that originated with a deal organized between Nutty Yahoo and Zionist Donald should remind Palestinians how Lucy always yanked the ball away from Charlie Brown after promising to hold it.

For the love of Pete, can't these Israelis treat the Palestinians with common curtesy for one or two minutes?? Hamas made sure that no-one was hurt or shoved underfoot or pounded on when they released the three women earlier today (no reported untoward incidents at all), but the IDF just HAD to tear gas the waiting Palestinian families outside the Israeli prison.

The occupation forces fire tear gas bombs intensively at citizens who gathered in
front of Ofer prison to receive the prisoners.
Red Crescent: 7 injuries during the occupation forces' suppression of Palestinians around Ofer Prison, west of Ramallah, while they were waiting for the release of prisoners as part of the exchange deal.

Charlie Brown epitomises the rejection by the US of anything imposed or even valued by the Old World. If the Old World opposes genocide, the New World
automatically supports it.
If Winston Churchill created a boundary in a desert, or Political institution of any sort, then that is sufficient grounds in itself for the US to scrub it or Maidan it.
Is this not rather a childish way for an Empire to behave after 300 years of independence. Col. McGregor said that Germany chose to stop importing Russian Oil. A Simply childish lie. Now he says the US and Israel will attack Iran. No, they won't, or if they do they will regret it. Pure TRIPE.
The US has elected Trump purely because of his ability to talk tripe, which satisfies their childish feelings of anti- Old World resentment.
Putin calls the West ' Agreement

They come out of nowhere, and seem very well organised.
A strange mix of slogans used:
-Antifa
-Protesting against Trump
-For climate action
-Free Palestine
Fancy website:
https://thesurgeinternational.net/
Leonor Canadas, an activist in the movement, explained to Lusa that “The Surge” was launched last November during the dissemination of an international call signed by activists from several countries, one of which was Portugal. Since then the movement has grown in countries and supporters.
What 'activists'? Can they be more vague?
And they did all this in 2 months including organising 40 demonstrations all over Europe?
I don't trust them already.
For now I'm not sure but this looks 100% astroturfed.

I just came across this on Telegram, an unconventional interpretation of the events in the last few weeks. I wonder if anyone finds it credible. AlgoraTelegram and this AlgoraTelegram
There is also a website link: Putin and Netanyahu Connection
"What are we to make of the nonsense of world events these days? Israel is winning the war against the defenseless Hamas, and Netanyahu gets the order from Trump to grab his army in 6 hours and move out of Gaza or else – just like some Western movie, “Get outta Dodge before sundown!” Russia is winning the war in Ukraine, but suddenly the only option it has is to halt its takeover and allow NATO troops to occupy positions in what once were Russian provinces, Odessa, Kharkov, along the Dnieper."
Posted by: LongTimeObserver | Jan 19 2025 23:28 utc | 59
@60 LTO
I don't find the claims in that article credible whatsoever. It purports that the Globalists somehow have no control over Russia or China and will punish Putin, which is simply not true. Both Xi and Putin have on countless ocassions shown to the world how much they are in agreement and alignment with the globalist agendas (Climate, Pandemics, or the coming introduction of digital fiat) to name but a few examples.
The stage managed conflict in Ukraine may be winding down for the next chapter in the globalists' salvo of chaos and misery on humanity but winding down vs. ending are two completely different things. What will likely happen is that the conflict will be frozen along predetermined lines. I initially wondered why Russia never tried to choke off Ukraine by sealing off its entire coast. But that was never part of the plan. Rump Ukraine was always meant to retain access to the Black Sea. And so we will likely see some type of freezing along the Novorossiya border with the rest of Ukraine as the world readies for the next pre-planned war that will be even costlier than the previous one, because inflate we must!

The US is able to present itself to the former British and other Empires as one of them, former subjects of British Colonialism.
Vast swathes of the RoW buy this tripe.
It doesn't matter exactly who is peddling this nonsense, what matters is that countries like Ukraine buy it, even though the idea that the US with its vulture capitalist BlackRock is protecting Ukraine from.Russian Imperialism is a joke.

We know Hamas was supported and given fortunes by Israel, whose main fear is Palestinian natal trends and lack of Israeli territory. Netanyahu has said support for Hamas was intended to divide Palestinians, but can it be it was actually to justify Palestinian population decimation and territorial expansion?
The Palestinian territories aren't Afghanistan, but rather bantustans and ghettos, mazes completely mapped by Israel, the US and UK. The Palestinians by simply existing and reproducing are viewed, cynically or genuinely, as an existential threat to Israel, ergo the greatest danger, considering the enormity or indeed virtual limitlessness of US military support, comes from an incorruptible pacifist movement within Palestine that gives no justification whatsoever to Israeli ethnic cleansing.
This latter doesn't guarantee the end of occupation or anything remotely like it, to be sure, but it decelerates the pace and scale of ethnic cleansing by giving Israel no pretext for what its been doing for the past 15 months. The viability of Palestine depends on a status quo where the latter's population continues to significantly outpace Israel's and Israel is given no justification for further territorial conquest. On all these grounds the so-called Arab resistance has failed.

Two really interesting articles from Indian Punchline by Bhadrakumar, part I and II
"There is no question that the latest Gaza deal was literally shoved down Netanyahu’s throat by Witkoff. According to Israeli reports, Witkoff called Netanyahu’s office from Doha where he was camping to seek a meeting in Tel Aviv last weekend but only to be told off that Friday was the time for Jewish Sabbath. Whereupon, Witkoff, reportedly, used an expletive and summoned Netanyahu to a meeting. Which, of course, Netanyahu complied with. By the way, Israeli cabinet’s formal approval for the Gaza deal was already available within 24 hrs thereafter.
Now, Witkoff, with Trump’s approval of course, “plans to be a near-constant presence in the region in an attempt to prevent the deal from unraveling” and is considering a visit to Gaza Strip “as part of his efforts to keep a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas on track, according to a transition official with direct knowledge of the ceasefire process.” (here)"
and lots more. Part I and II are both rewarding reads.

"NO ONE is qualified to hold coercive power over any other person."
But they are. It's called the Social Contract.
"Social contract, in political philosophy, an actual or hypothetical compact, or agreement, between the ruled or between the ruled and their rulers, defining the rights and duties of each."
Winning the election is what qualifies the person/s in most nations. Whether the election is fair or the nation is democratic is not the issue, for example research in the US has repeatedly shown that the voters do not exercise any real influence on who the other persons end up being or what coercive powers that person ends up exercising but as we see, time and again the majority of voters submit themselves to it.

There's a lot going on under the surface.
But signs maybe hopeful. let's start with the anti zionist rabbi invited to a meeting with Don, Aaron Teitelbaum. His sect is against the establishment of the State of Israel.
NBC reports that Witkoff plans to be in a near constant presence in the region to ensure the deal doesn't unravel.
My take is Trump wants to fix the US and can't afford to be distracted by wars.
Anyway, Iran's pull back from the region may have to do with the new ties with RSA.
Lots of talk about no mention of a security agreement between Russia and Iran. But have a look again at the agreement, the Ministry of Defence for both countries will be concluding a separate agreement (read secret).

22 of the 90 Palestinian captives released from Israeli prisons/torture camps today are children. Many of them were held in administrative detention without charge or trial.
One of them is Aseel Shadeh, a 17-year-old Palestinian girl, who was arrested on November 7, 2023, during a protest against the killing of Palestinian children in Gaza. She was waving a Palestinian flag when Israeli soldiers shot her in the foot and handcuffed her, accusing her of attempting to stab the soldiers.

In Rafah civilians have been shot and there is one child killed, ostensibly for approaching occupation military. A quadcopter also dropped explosives in Gaza apparently. These sort of events obviously undermine the stability of the ceasefire.
In west bank, as many prisoners were released, there were also mass arrests. A child was shot and killed.

"The question of how to rebuild Gaza remains unanswered, aside from where around 2 million Palestinians can be temporarily relocated. Indonesia, for example, is one of the locations being discussed for some of them," said the transition official, as quoted by NBC.
This tells us how Witkoff got Netanyahu to agree to a temporary ceasefire.

The British state stepped up a gear yesterday in its attempts to stifle any criticism of Israel...
Tens of thousands defy police on Palestine march in London
The Palestine movement in Britain faced one of its biggest tests during its national demonstration on Saturday.
The British state was determined to block marchers from leaving Whitehall. But tens of thousands of people defied the massed ranks of the Metropolitan Police, who’d come determined to mete out mass arrests and repression.
Palestine marchers wanted to march from Whitehall to the BBC, but the Met erected police lines and barricades.
The march broke through the police’s barricade. The police quickly reformed. But protesters pushed through the second line too—and a sea of people streamed into Trafalgar Square.
Police blocked the exits and arrested chief steward Chris Nineham of the Stop The War Coalition.
One campaigner who pushed through police lines told Socialist Worker, “The cops are stopping democracy, our demonstration, our right to protest. They are orchestrated by our government and our government is pro-Zionist.
“They are denying our democratic rights because they don’t want us protesting our genocide. Our government wants to defend a colonial outpost in the Middle East and so the police are against us.”

Israel supporter arrested after punching anti-genocide marcher
A pro-Israel counter-demonstrator has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police after punching a peaceful anti-genocide protester during today’s national march for Gaza.
The woman was seen marching to and fro with a placard accusing Palestinians of killing babies – seemingly a reference to long-debunked allegations made by the Israeli government to try to justify its genocide in Gaza – in an apparent attempt to incite an incident. Then, when the pro-Palestinian marchers ignored her, she punched one of them in the face several times and was arrested by police officers.
