If its systems are destroyed by Oreshnik missiles, no transfers would be possible at all. Posted by: xblob | Dec 24 2024 21:18 utc | 402
@ The Kaker | Dec 24 2024 19:51 utc | 436 Posted by: boneless | Dec 24 2024 21:48 utc | 403 Today people see the Russian revolution as the bolshevik power grab that put one of the most repressive regimes in history in power but in 1917 the original Russian revolution was a peace movement. Thanks. Posted by: unimperator | Dec 25 2024 0:12 utc | 411 3x the defence spending ends up with 3x the amount of the same junk. My bet is the judge in that case is going to have a really difficult time, assembling a jury of peers of the accused willing to find the accused guilty of Terrorism. The case seems more like a case of justice administered American style? ” Posted by: Fred | Dec 25 2024 0:46 utc | 414 ****** wp007 @ 466 Posted by: Jerr | Dec 25 2024 1:25 utc | 415 Posted by: grunzt | Dec 22 2024 20:31 utc | 62 Posted by: General Factotum | Dec 25 2024 1:33 utc | 416 The true strategical plans of Ukrainian high command is not dumb or stupid, it is to inflict maximum casualties to Russia while losing as little as land as possible. The reason to not completely encircle cauldrons are to prevent having to completely seal the cauldron and avoid inner and outer defensive rings, prevent desperate counterattacks from within and outside cauldron which the AFU may cause higher casualties for defender of the cauldron ring, leaving it open often nets more auxiliary benefits by AFU reinforcing the cauldron, and the AFU trying to withdraw through a narrow neck enables more effective concentration of drone and artillery on the withdrawing troops and thus a good toll can be extracted from the withdrawing troops. Posted by: unimperator | Dec 25 2024 7:14 utc | 427 Southfront reports AFU has concentrated 4 brigades opposite to the Bryansk region, and has 5 brigades in the Belgorod-Kursk region (presumably latter means also committed in current combat). The plan may be confirmation of the earlier reported Zelensky plan to attack the Bryansk region. Posted by: unimperator | Dec 25 2024 8:14 utc | 428
Is the array of expletives coming from the perception of constant misunderstandings and attempts to downplay a statement for the readers to remain in their ‘savior safe space’?
It’s a subject with great implications, part of me wonders whether the dissolution of the quality of discussion on internet forums happened because some found out the answers to be like prison bars – but among them, there clearly are some who cannot see past them in spite of the state of the world.. Ukrainians from US perspective is gambling on House money. Posted by: unimperator | Dec 25 2024 9:06 utc | 430 Posted by: unimperator | Dec 25 2024 8:14 utc | 500 But what is Ukraine is doing now, is simply a petty suicide. It cannot retreat, it cannot advance, it cannot change it’s tactics, it is slowly draining itself out of future generations. Posted by: Jack M | Dec 25 2024 11:17 utc | 432
Seconded. Posted by: Avtonom | Dec 25 2024 11:30 utc | 433 It looks like Russia now is very active striking Ukr targets. It’s Western Christmas. Some Ukrainians have converted to Western Christmas. I believe a majority haven’t but they have to deviate in secret because it’s Western by decree now. Posted by: Avtonom | Dec 25 2024 11:36 utc | 434 Another poster has claimed that Putin referring to the United States as a “potential partner” is Putin being “diplomatic”. Could anyone who agrees with this outline the conditions in the real world where the US can become “partners” with Russia, or is proposing the impossible part of being diplomatic? Surrounded by close-minded individuals lacking both empathy and any sense of justice, where one can only marvel at the absence of human decency and intelligent life. 🙂 Posted by: HB_Norica | Dec 25 2024 12:20 utc | 440 ‘In the last two days, the words spoken by Maia Sandu about preparing for a forceful takeover of Transnistria have been widely discussed. Here, I would like to add that French units are indeed based in Chisinau.’ Posted by: TheTurk | Dec 25 2024 12:25 utc | 441 I’m guessing, then, that Ukraina plans for striking Russia proper around the 7th of January when Russians celebrate their Orthodox Christmas.
