I read an article earlier today about a baby freezing to death in a tent in the Mawasi area of the Gaza Strip. This is the third child who has died from the cold in Gaza in the past few days. Everthing makes sense in liu of this. A pact could not be entered with Iran openly trading missiles with Israel via Hizbollah.
Two of the most important principles of self defense are deescalation and proportionate force, Iran demonstrates deescalation. Israel has been given all of its demands. The missiles have stopped. The land south of the Litani is ceded. Iran does not respond to the last Israeli attack. Every effort is made to avoid war.
This is not superficial.
The genocide of the Palestinians is the most horrible thing in our lifetimes (so far). Open genocide of civillians who were abused for decades prior with human rights abuses. However a a sovereign nation has responsibilities to its citizens. That must be considered when making decisions.
Irans cessation of hostilities and complying with Israels demands allows a defense pact to take place. It exposes the hidden agenda of the genocide which is to provoke Iran to war and its destruction.
A defense pact with Russia means Iran can not be isolated and taken down. Iran certainly could hold its own in a conventional war. Nor can b-52s just fly safe from AD overhead. Nuclear weapons would be necessary. The strait of hormuz would close and that chokehold on world energy would bring the worlds economys to a abrupt halt. A prolonged conventional weapon war with Iran is not a realistic scenario. Nuclear weapons would have to be used.
The defense pact with NK is a defacto defense pact with China. If nuclear weapons are used on the Korean penisula China starts shooting too. If a shooting war with Iran starts Russia enters. If a shooting waar with Russia starts Korea enters. if a shooting war with korea starts China enters. This has been done in a manner that is overt so it can not be construed as a threat. Also a principle of self defense. The trouble with deterrents is they must be disclosed but if they are disclosed they can be construed as a threat and manipulation.
“LEAVE ME ALONE” LEAVE ME ALONE LEAVE ME ALONE
This is the right of the victim. It is a foundational premise of self defense. The whole universe acknowledges it. It does not negate the responsibility for proportionate response but it establishes a important principle. Having judged the conflict to be existential in nature and therefore catastrophic every effort is made to avoid the conflict as the nation state has a responsibility to its citizens. It it establishes beyond a reasonable doubt that Iran does not wish to participate in a a war. Russia needed this to enter into a defense pact with Iran. Anything less would not be fair to its citizens. Justice often involves eating crow it is never pleasant but what it creates is the will to persevere in those who really dont want to participate in conflict. It is a foundational practice of self defense. Boundaries are established. Notice the difference between the false concept of red lines which is escalatory in nature. The diference is demonstrated by eating crow. Eating crow must be genuine. It must entail genuine unpleasantness. It must demonstrate humility. It is not done as a function of manipulation. It is a act of humility not submission. Thats what many here dont understand as they are still learning the principles of force.

Now the Pentagon is announcing that there were literally several thousand US troops in Syria at the time that HTS made its lightening fast over taking of Damascus. As well as having high level equipment – Starlink comms, etc. Also, predictable embedded IS/UK/NATO boots as well. Also, high level of additional troop build ups on bases in Iraq, as well as preparations in Cyprus. Inquiring minds, knowing how anxious all of Axis of Genocide are for an all out World War III pile on, would suggest that players for the Axis of Resistance just disappeared – SAA, Hezebollah, all of the non state proxies, Christian and Alawite militias. Would appear well coordinated. Not giving USUKISNATO the war they so desperately need. Disappearance doesn’t mean gone or defeated – but letting the chaos explode, knowing full well that HTS has neither the political chops or manpower for governance of the country.
