A Note to the many new MoA Readers
Why would I, a patriotic U.S. citizen, advocate for the abandonment of U.S. empire-building, the abandonment of the Project for the New American Century, and the abandonment of the goal of a U.S.-led politically uni-polar world?
To all the new people that may be just tuning in, I’d like to take a moment to present an explanation.
When I was young, I was indoctrinated to believe that the U.S. was an honorable country. People pulled their own weight, they built wonderful things, and they generally enjoyed the fruits of their _own_ labor .vs. taking what they had from someone else.
Not all was right and wonderful about the U.S. I grew up in, but I can say with certainty that the U.S. of my youth was much more wonderful and worthwhile and decent than the one I have now. For years I have been suffering the disillusionment of finding out … what I thought the U.S. was … isn’t actually what it really was, and worse, isn’t remotely like what we’ve become over the past 40 years. Things have gotten much worse; the disillusionment has become epic.
I deeply resent the people, the forces, the cynicism, the selfishness and the cruelty that have (nearly) ruined the U.S.
That’s why I ridicule our current leaders. It’s why I encourage the Russias and the Chinas of the world to resist the U.S. bullying. I can’t fight these horrible people directly, because they’re much better at warfare than I am.
But I certainly can, and do, use what voice and purchase decisions and influence I have to reward and encourage the decent people within and outside the U.S. who, like me, insist that the U.S. gang-land leaders lose their bid to steal the world’s future from us.
I am speaking mainly to the new arrivals here @ MoA; every day there are new ones. For the new reader, the shock of hearing what seem like perfectly reasonable people being so hostile to U.S. policy takes some getting used to.
What you’re hearing is the outrage of the lied-to, the people whose trust was used against us, the people who’ve been systematically stolen-from for several decades. That’s why we’re angry.

Joking aside, there are three issues to untangle, I think. First, if many drones are really everywhere, as opposed to misidentifications by untrained observers. That seems to be where the FAA is at. Authorities are correct in rating observations from untrained people as less reliable. That’s not definitive, as the dismissal of meteors by some savants way back when suggests, but it’s a genuine problem. People like to boast of not believing the MSM which always lies, then blithely latch onto reports like this.
Second, are these sightings actually concentrated near sensitive targets, like a military base or a wealthy person or even a politician (pick your flavor.) Quite aside from the possibility that drones near a military base could be military drones on training missions for drone operations, you can only know if there are concentrations near such places by comparing it to the density of sighting near non-sensitive locales. MSM doesn’t do numbers, though, math is elitist (except when alleging DEI.) Worse, such reports can be prompted by personal motives, such as getting public attention or even personal paranoia.
Third, the assumption that surely the government knows is BS, even if Tin God Trump says so. One aspect of the financialization and deindustrialization of the economy and the fight against Big Government is the hollowing out of public services. The fight against taxes talks about fat in the budget, but a great deal of so-called fat is actually bone and muscle. The notion that its our army and it is actually working on defending us—instead of being largely an imperialist mercenary outfit dedicated to overseas aggression covert and overt—may lead you to think of course there is a local air force base with radars closely watching everything that flies. This is no more true than a claim there are police and fire and ambulance services available everywhere within minutes.
Given that it’s not even certain there really is a problem, calling for shooting down is as of this moment just another call for the armed forces to shoot, shoot, shoot. The general propaganda perspective of some mysterious subversion and internal threat requring heroic violence to save us is fascistic.

– However there SEEMS to brewing another “revolution” (with or without quotation marks) in the US. One Luigi Mangione has shot the CEO of United Healthcare, Brian Thompson. For a while I though this would just a (small) “blip on the radar”. But based on the videos I see/have seen on YouTube I think this could be the 1st spark that could trigger the next american revolution. The world is plunging into a LARP Putinist phase. Every other leader tries to appear as a strongman. Every frozen conflict is being re-activated. All major powers are obsessed with hypersonic weapons and trying to replicate them. No one even pretends to care about ‘democracy’ anymore – which used to be the dominant religion of the West. Just this month, Romania has outright refused to recognize the results, Moldavian elections were openly rigged, Georgian president doesn’t want to leave the presidential palace after losing elections – and all these violations are supported by the EU.
No one cares about the UN or the ‘internationally-recognized’ borders either. Countries with functioning armies are eager to start their own little SMOs and fund proxy forces fighting on their behalf abroad. Israel, Turkey and US invaded Syria and refused to elaborate. Trump now ‘jokingly’ wants to annex Canada. Allegations of ‘foreign interference’ or ‘tiktok misinformation’ are now perfectly reasonable grounds for political action and abuse of power. Social media apps are being blocked and media outlets are getting banned on demand. Former Jihadis are becoming DEAR BROTHERS in a matter of months. Russia, as always, has paved the way for everyone else. We’re all living in Late Putinism now.
