Moon of Alabama Brecht quote
December 31, 2024
A Year To Soon Be Forgotten

The ending year has been a displeasing one.

Health wise it was the worst year I have ever had. For nearly half of it I was not able to work as much as I like. Even now, as I am recuperating, the challenge remains.

More disturbing for me though was the total breakdown of 'western' concepts that were, until recently, held high.

Liberalism, as an economic and societal concept, has broken down.

Globalism is no more. Free trade has been replaced with a myriad of tariffs and sanctions. The U.S. is forcefully pressuring its 'allies', especially in Europe, to buy its goods and to do its bidding. There is, astonishingly, no noticeable resistance to this.

The fake concept of 'fighting disinformation' is being used to implement outright censorship. Political activism gets threatened whenever it challenges the current Staatsräson as decreed from the top. Insulting politicians for their lack of consistency is now lèse-majesté that needs to be punished. Making fact based arguments is no longer seen as sensible reasoning but as taking partisan sides.

Most horrifying though is the breakdown of humanitarian concepts the 'west' once claimed to hold high. Mearsheimer says it best when he decries the the moral bankruptcy of the West:

Given the West’s presumed commitment to human rights and especially to preventing genocide, one would have expected countries like the United States, Britain, and Germany, to have stopped the Israeli genocide in its tracks.

Instead, the governments in those three countries, especially the United States, have supported Israel’s unimaginable behavior in Gaza at every turn. Indeed, those three countries are complicit in this genocide.

Moreover, almost all of the many human rights advocates in those countries, and in the West more generally, have stayed silent while Israel executed its genocide. The mainstream media has made hardly any effort to expose and challenge what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. Indeed some key outlets have staunchly supported Israel’s actions.

One wonders what people in the West who have either supported Israel’s genocide or remained silent tell themselves to justify their behavior and sleep at night.

All the above already had started some time ago. But it culminated in 2024 in ways that were more noticeable than ever.

The mask is off. The 'West', as we knew it, is done with.

Currently my best hope for 2025 and beyond is for a more sane East to arise.

Globalism is indeed dead, it just doesn’t know it yet. It’s a zombie going through the motions. Those that don’t recognize this are the same that refuse to see that the SMO would eventually end in Russia’s favor after the spectacular failure of the “counter-offensive”. [There was zero chance of Ukraine “winning” just everyone losing.]
If you’re keeping your eye on the real game afoot them note that the end of EU & NATO are on the clock.

Netanyahu is facing up to 10 years in jail if convicted on all counts of corruption.
It was recently announced that he is in need of medical treatment.
I wonder if he is constructing an exit ramp for himself.
Exit Ramp: Netanyahu is in need of medical treatment in another country (one that won’t extradite him should he be
convicted of corruption).

Does a government of a nation state have a right to defend the state outside of the nation state boundaries? To me the answer should be no..
Then comes the question does a government of a nation state have the right to invade the boundaries of another nation state to defend the interest of the invading nation state?
Then comes the question does a government of a nation state have the right to give weapons and support to a nation state that is in violation of either of the about two boundary defined restrictions?
If governments do not have the right to infringe or violate the boundaries of another nation state, then what punishment is fitting for nation states that does so?
Then comes the question who has the right to draw the nation state boundaries? How does the right of self determination fit into the answer.
Can boundaries change by peaceful means?
Happy New Year.. Please answer these questions thanks.
Thank you B.. your website is known world wide.. quite an achievement..

Those doubting the alivness of globalism clearly express a wishful desire (common trait of True Believers, especially those more active in international relations than international economics and finance that neither Russia, China, BRICS, or the RoW (by virtue of being dragged along for the ride whether they like it or not by their benefactors) are in fact as 100% invested in globalism as much as the US and the West.
The video posted at 75 by lightyearsfromhome is a most excellent illustration of the ubiquity of globalization in both the Evil West and the Sainted East.

Russia will continue to have incremental gains in the UKrain war lol. More seriously some little big arrow movements. Morale collapse due to lack of digital brainwashing (limited electricty).
Trump will profoundly disappoint his MAGA base.
Hybrid and proxy woars escalation continues to a nuclear standoff.
Starship finally launches satellites.
Russia uses Oreshnik, or a more limited Iskander variation, to show it is not a one off.
Longer term predictions: The Jewish Crusades of the 20-21st century will come to an inglorious end. Simultaneous development of miraculous age and health promoting therapies, like senolytics and insidious bio-weapons to knock off pensioners. When things get really bad, US unleashes digital mayhem through existing, but unknown, back doors.

Here is one paragraph from among thousands that I have read in 2024.
2024 “is soon to be forgotten”, but this one sticks with me.
It isn’t the most egregious, certainly, so why does it stick?
Don’t know. It has an emblematic place in my mind, though, for 2024
May 2024

Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson was exposed for accusing Israel of committing “genocide” and “apartheid” in Gaza in a draft of a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Jewish state’s war against Hamas, according to a recent report.

The word play in the paragraph is obvious to most of us.
“Exposed”
‘She was *exposed* for’…that wording suggests her hidden criminality came out in the open.
What was she exposed for? – “accusing Israel of committing “genocide” and “apartheid” in Gaza”
Gasp!
Continuing…
“calling for a ceasefire in the ***Jewish state’s***”
Not “Israel”, but rather, the Jewish state. So as to suggest that she is attacking Jews themselves.
And the paragraph frames Israel’s attempt at ethnic cleansing
with a smokescreen. It is not an attempt to steal the rest of Palestine,
rather, it is a “war against Hamas”.

I’ve been impressed with Mearsheimer’s analysis of the war in the Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East.
As regards the genocide being committed by Israel against the Palestinians, the lack of action (words count for nothing) by the ‘major’ powers in the world (both West and East) is, to me, deeply disheartening. It’s probably due to realpolitik, which goes to show that both ‘sides’ are equally culpable.

I don’t see any answer in jopalolive’s post to my question.
Posted by: Jane | Dec 31 2024 19:56 utc | 63
Consider looking at your immediate surroundings. They are a product of hydrocarbons. Wood, plastic, metal, glass, food, electricity, chips. All of it is trans mutated hydro carbons.
It is the reason there are 8 billion people in the world today, instead of 200 million. In other words, 8 thousand million. Approximately 40 times more people alive today due to energy resources.
If you want to restrict, or eliminate a people, restrict their energy, or trade there of for goods. There would be many millions more Palestinians alive today if they were not in a fuel deprived prison. Modern day goods are a product of fuel. Modern day goods and services vastly increase population capacities by a factor of 40 (or so).

For heaven’s sake, jop, this basic information is known to most people, including me. Except that in the Palestine context you fail to mention that one driver of the current horror is doubtless the existence of Palestine’s rich hydrocarbon resources. However, my question is not about Palestine. Did you read Todd’s post, as quoted by B on Oct. 9? BTW, I certainly do not need to be instructed to look at my immediate surroundings, which is irrelevant to the specific question. Which is: How do low fertility rates in Europe relate to Russia’s being energy-rich, as Todd implied? Russia’s being energy-rich has not caused Europe’s low fertility rate. In fact, I doubt that Europe’s being relative energy-poor has created its current low fertility rate—more likely EU energy policies. I expect that the translation of Todd’s essay is at fault for the murkiness.

My neck of the woods, McD’s cooks up a fine double cheeseburger with chile, so that’s my lunch out on my shopping trek. Sure, they shouldn’t have taken over a bank building in Auckland, or any other place else, but on home turf if the burger is affordable, I love ’em. And I thought that was a Good Move of Trump to go dish some out to potential voters, even if I didn’t vote for him. And to ride in a garbage truck as well. Good moves, sir!

b said “Liberalism, as an economic and societal concept, has broken down.”
To me, that’s a sign of progress.
Liberal economics was always no more than a justification for those with a head-start in life to pilfer more from society than their fair share.
Social Liberalism was always no more than an illusion to keep the masses happy while their legitimate rights were suppressed.
A highly successful illusion that kept people happy with a shower of individual rights while denying their economic rights.

To follow them, not into another war, but into their spirited recovery from what seemed a hopeless existence before. And to them and all other nations, a speedy, blessed peace, so they can heal, like b, and recover — continuing what they have so wisely and well begun!

Even Bernard. Sees it so clearly he decides the West is finished with and his only hope is for an East to arise.
See?
What’s wrong with the West? Well he just laid it out. What do you notice about it? It is all about States. It is all about governing juntas. It is nowhere, nothing, never about people.
People simply don’t signify.
And, see, they don’t even signify in Bernard’s final conclusions and prognostications. Wishes, dreams, hopes.
Clearly what is needed is for people to wake up and take control. Bernard doesn’t ask for it. Doesn’t even see the need for it apparently.
It’s not just those juntas at the top that are destroying everything, it is also the clerisy, such as bernard that are complicit.
The people need advising, informing, educating and empowering. A voice would be a good start. They need a voice. And a central point around which to gravitate that is not FB or X or any other social media rubbish. A serious sensible purpose built thing.
All quite possible in today’s world.

“Can someone explain how Russian energy resources relate to low fertility rate in Germany, and vice versa?”
I believe that there is no correlation. The low birth rate is due to ease of access to abortion, a decrease of committed religious faith, destabilizing the relationship between men and women, and loss of hope in younger generations that they will ever be able to attain the kind of life their parents had. Compare any culture in terms of these factors and you should notice marked differences in the birth rates.

The West needs a “reset” and I do not mean of the globalist variety, but one in which the US is punished by other countries it harms. I don’t see another way out of any of this without another country standing up to our nonsense and putting the US in it’s place, no matter what that means.
I know some very moral folks, myself included who are VERY upset with what our gov is doing but feel helpless to stop it..
Perhaps that’s just how (((they))) want us to feel, but at some point, people will rise.
It’s just a matter of time before the trigger is pulled. It is a damned shame that the murder of millions isn’t what does it. But via human nature, people are not likely to create change until what is done to others is done to them.
It WILL happen..

Posted by: Kay | Jan 1 2025 4:48 utc | 135

There are quite a few posts here critical of nations for not doing more to stop the zionist entity’s genocide; elected representatives being what they are IMO it is ludicrous to expect nations to be seen attempting to put a stop to the genocide.
Of course this is realpolitik, disliking that fact will not make it disappear.
amerika has raised the stakes so high that it is difficult to see any government, anywhere, risking so much for a gain that will reap so little political benefit for themselves, or their nation. Yemen remains the sole exception to this & I really doubt there’s gonna be any others. In fact I reckon the NED is planning the Yemen colour coup as I write this.
The only way we could stop this would be if literally millions of ordinary human beings gathered on the entity’s border, then pushed their way into it protesting at the horror. Everyone would have to be prepared to lose their life in the endeavour for the occupying army of the zionists’ first move is always kill first and ask questions later, as displayed by the murderous raid in 2010 on the Mavi Marmara & accompanying supply flotilla.
Of course if there were millions of humans protesting comprised of a substantial proportion of protesters ‘from the west’, that course of action would quickly become untenable for the entity (although 000’s would be killed or maimed initially), because as much as western media tried, I cannot see them being able to keep this story off the front pages or TV news headlines. This would also require the protest to be sufficiently staffed by citizen journos and a capable media co-ordination unit.
However judging by the response from the west when making a stand against the entity requires any sort of personal sacrifice, one cannot be sure that a substantial number of protesters from the west would participate.
We all know what would happen if the protesters ‘only’ comprised decent concerned human beings from ‘the East’ &/or the Global South, the protest would be deemed an invasion force amerika would churn out thousands of anti-personnel bombs & mines covering the entity’s border with a pink mist and western media would be full of yarns about doubty zionist resistance with backgrounders on the innate antisemitism of unwhite cultures.
Frankly I cannot envisage any other way of confronting the genocide because amerika’s motives are far bigger than providing a home for jews, amerikan imperialists believe the entity is a necessary pre-condition for ensuring that there will never be another regional superpower in West Asia.
I dunno if erdogan regards that as a bridge to be crossed in future, or whether he imagines he can sidestep the amerikans, however it is 100 years since FukUS decided that a regional superpower must not be permitted to happen in the ME.
Everything amerika, england & france have done in the ME since Sykes-Picot tells us that keeping the people of the region on their knees remains the primary aim.
Many with deem this post too negative or cynical or whatever but that is looking down the wrong end of the telescope, we should see a mass selfless protest as something good. In a nutshell, if we want to stop the zionist’s genocide, it is down to all of us who loath it to stand up, risk ourselves and force a stoppage.

I am not saying that the below are sufficient answers, snake,(which you must have considered and rejected already) but I think of two that Putin was making as the SMO began … no, three.
1. That Russia was responding to a clear and present danger posed by the increasing intensity of bombing in the direction of Russia itself.
2. That these activities involved former historical parts of Russia which had been separated by leaders who did not consult the citizens themselves.
3. That the regime perpetrating these attacks is and was illegitimately persecuting its Russian-oriented citizenry.
He, Putin, made – thinking of a fourth now, (even though it ought to have been the first as most important one) — multiple requests for dialogue which were met with silence and rapidly increasing aggression implemented by outside non-border states and combinations of states, which increasing activity would apparently be the only answer the west was offering.
What choice did Russia have?

The decline of the total fertility rate is general throughout the world. Not a single country is at the previous normal human maximum, about 8 children per woman. Currently even the highest fertility rate in any country, that of Niger, is only about 6.6 and is also starting to fall. The fall has been swift and spectacular everywhere. The question is, where is the bottom for this fall?
If we look at South Korea, where there is an aggressive women’s movement to reject marriage and childbearing, the TFR has fallen to 0.7-0.9 according to different sources; some even claim it is now 0.5. As the replacement rate for modern societies with decent health care is 2.1, this means a spectacular and rapid shrinkage of the population is likely. Here in the US, the TFR is 1.6-1.8, much higher than South Korea probably mostly because of some recent immigrants having large families but still below the replacement rate. The US population continues slowly to grow, but only because of immigration.
While the reasons you give about “ease of access to abortion, a decrease of committed religious faith, destabilizing the relationship between men and women, and loss of hope in younger generations that they will ever be able to attain the kind of life their parents had” are all true, in my view it is primarily the last one that is the crucial one: the youth have simply lost hope in the future altogether, everywhere. And indeed, what is there, except for a privileged few? The thieves and robbers of finance simply are saying to the world, “We’ve got you, and you can’t do anything about it. Either you submit to being our slaves and producing new slaves for us, or else you try to revolt, which won’t work and will just make a mess of everything for you.” Why should the younger generation have children when that is how they are going to be treated? And then there is the relentless message of today’s capitalist leaders, “You give us your money, your resources, your bodies, and we will give you nothing in return. We will always cut costs to the bone, which in the end leads us to providing nothing in exchange for you paying us.” If they could, they would privatize the streets and sidewalks to collect rent and tolls, but they would never provide any repairs and services.
Of course, pregnancy and birth still happen, but with ever less frequency. Far from Paul Erlich’s Population Bomb, it looks now more like a general population crash is in the offing.
Capitalism requires continuous growth in order to survive. A continuous population decline, if sustained, will mean the end of capitalism. Economy will go on in some fashion, of course, but not the way it has done.
The disappearance of opportunities for profit and rent extraction are already causing the economy to eat itself. In Michael Hudson’s estimation, the capitalism of building and construction is being replaced by the capitalism of plunder and robbery, as in his book Killing the Host. Because the decline of the fertility rate is slow, this development will take a while, but not too long.

“Currently even the highest fertility rate in any country, that of Niger, is only about 6.6 and is also starting to fall.”
I just checked and the fertility rate amongst the Amish in Ohio is still between 6 and 8 per woman. Their culture makes sense to them, their religious faith teaches them to put a high value on family and children, they know where they fit in their community, they have hope that they can do as well as their parents, and they don’t waste their time on Facebook wondering what gender they really are. All this with only an eighth grade education.

I live adjacent to Mennonite and Amish communities in Iowa. We are blessed with rich fertile soil, however blood-soaked from the previous conquest.
Without our rich natural resources of fertile soil, expansive lands, rich forests and surface and ground waters, which the Amish and Mennonites steward, what do you think their fertility rate would be?
I read in the local news recently that babies here are been abandoned at drop off sites in sub and urban areas at the highest rate ever.
Two extremes.
One has developed a sustainable culture, the other a hedonistic anarchy borne from neoliberal predation which exiles people from the land and their sustenance.
The children not born are missed as are lose lost to the maelstrom of financial predation.

127 Chen…” you see things as I do. We are a rarity in this world. May more awaken. Though I do not live in hope. I have none for humanity. Best to you. Peace.”
Then Chen critiques Karloff’s assertions…
So Siddhartha flips out and calls Chen a Fifth Columnist…

I’m quite impressed with your work ethic, investing such energy in these explorations of near-future hypotheticals in relation to all hell currently breaking loose, during this chaotic interim. Yes, Todd did pose a thesis.
Posted by: Jane | Jan 1 2025 1:43 utc | 123

Well, on second thought it seems you’re right, but this thesis applies to the future. Let’s reread Todd’s sentence in context:

Of course, in a second phase, that of American defeat, American control over Europe will be pulverized. Germany and Russia will meet again. This conflict is in a sense artificial. The natural thing, in a low-fertility Europe, with its aging population, is the complementarity between German industry and Russian energy and mineral resources.

The complementarity of which he speaks (between German industry and cheap Russian resources) is the guarantor of Germany’s (and therefore Europe’s) good economic health. That a worsening of Europe’s economic crisis would have a negative impact on its birth rate seems quite certain to me.
And there you have it!

Posted by: Leuk | Jan 1 2025 9:21 utc | 158

One possibility (not prediction) —and perhaps not entirely unlikely— is that “Israel” ceases to exist in 2025.
One way it could happen is by non-nuclear strikes on all “Israeli” nuclear resources (civilian and military) rendering them unavailable and with only highly localized and fairly limited radioactive effects. I think there are two countries that might be able do this if they wanted to; Russia and Iran. It would __not__ necessarily have to involve the top political leadership in either place.
Dimona would require the most physical effort as one would be disassembling the running nuclear processes by brute force: violently redistributing the nuclear fuel into small enough segments to halt the nuclear chain reaction(!). In other words lots and lots of bombs pounding the entire place to dust and blowing any molten cores apart.
Another way it could happen would be to take out critical infrastructure. Since they do not see the evil of their own actions there is no reason why “Isreal” should have what Gaza has not.
Yet another way is for “Israeli” society to crumble and implode by cause and effect of what has already happened.
And still another (there are many more) is that the US crumbles first for any reason. Could “Israel” survive only on their implicit Russian support or with more overt Russian assistance? In my opinion no.
Maybe 2025 is too optimistic but it could be the year. Whenever it happens it will be long overdue.

AI takes all the water & power facilities that exist, leaving Europe seriously dying but the US, unfortunately, still able to wreak even more havoc which it will confidently do until it sooner or later has to succumb to its own evil (& empty vaults).
More man-made pandemics wipe out whole populations and assisted dying takes care of the elderly.
Nothing will be left of Ukraine but the steadily more intellectually challenged European leaders are blind to this so they continue sending all their monetary & military resources down the Ukrainian drain.
Thanks to BRICS, some bird will fly out of the ashes but it will also be difficult, for us spoiled brats of the west, to reverse to less individual freedom while we will be pondering about just that: how much of everything is wise.

*** That a worsening of Europe’s economic crisis would have a negative impact on its birth rate seems quite certain to me. ***
In the past however miserable for huge numbers there was always *some* sense of hope or at least “community” identity.
But now after decades of propaganda, nudge and haranguing by those who rule, in combination with drugs etc. regardless of the Establishment’s fake “war on drugs” (note the CIA have long been as major worldwide partner in distribution) …
… plus promoted panics about overpopulation and then underpopulation …
… and a completely insane perpetual-debt economic system whereby there’s allegedly “no money” for maintenance of crumbling essential infrastructure at home, yet at the same time limitless amounts to hand to corrupt proxies abroad in war …
… blatant nazis are simultaneously villains and heroes …
… “Jews” (though only the Zionist element) have made *themselves* a self declared exclusive uber-race holy cow alleged religion of extreme malevolence beyond reproach, which punishes others for not worshipping them and their agendas fervently enough …
… 58 supposed genders, or is it sexes? get that wrong and be punished! …
… for the public, oscillation between profiteer induced fears of global freezing and toasting …
… and don’t forget, you’ll die if you don’t get the multiple “jabs” of dubious provenance that kill you ….
… a totally fragmented society full of marketing-synthesized shallow and temporary “identities” …
……. the list could go on but what’s the point, because today there is no genuine point.
The murderous, oligarchic sociopaths who rule and their selected political leaders (each now more overtly freaky and degenerate than the last) who apply their dictates have committed widespread genocide even by its non-military UN definition.
In a lie-directed world of ceaseless reminders of the utter futility of life and everything, is it any wonder the public have abandoned all hope for the future?
But of course that was intended.
Onwards to the “great reset” and WEF future!

I also think the Russian leaders do what Russian leaders can do in such a situation. No-one is perfect and every country’s military is ridden by corruption. The Russians are trying to deal with this while also fighting against NATO. It’s no small task.

Do you think someone forgot to explain that to the Amish & Mennonites? They are one of the few sub-cultures in America with a high birth rate. Good thing they don’t have unrestricted access to energy or they would take over the country in a few decades.
Posted by: Paranaense | Jan 1 2025 4:28 utc | 139
Your argument is soooo dumb: US Total Amish Population: 394,720.
They have been here since the 1750s. Fertility rates are useless without infant, mother and general mortality rates. Your post proves the self evident reality that lack of hydrocarbons results in lower populations. Hunter gatherer tribes have amazing fertility rates and their numbers are vanishingly small. Sheesh. Look around where ever you are, energy abundance corresponds to material prosperity which corresponds to high population levels.
The reason for mentioning fertility rates is one factor of population size and you nit nitpick one sub issue. Great way to promote useless yackery and miss the bigger picture.
Besides being of negligible population numbers, what percentage of the goods, services and roads that the Amish use are hydrocarbon derived? Do they mine their own iron ore?
Your replies logical inconsistency is on the level of the ‘Amish’ selling produce in the middle of a Manhattan farmers market on a Saturday morning.
If you know about the reality of their culture you know they take more than a few liberties regarding their physical well being that conflicts with their ideology. I give them a lot of credit for what they achieve in their striving to live up to their ideals.
You. Not so much.

I saw it all, all the West’s evil and hypocrisy, back in 1991, in the breakup of Yugoslavia. All the official lies, the outright genocidal behavior of the West and their allies, the attempts to destroy the civilian economy, the hatred and vilification of an entire people (the Serbs), etc.
It seems the Russian and Chinese governments saw it then, too. For Russia, they saw the US blatantly attacking their ally for no good reason, despite Russia’s entreaties. The US and their toadies did NOT mean well. For China, they saw their embassy get bombed by precision weaponry, killing several of their diplomatic staff. (That was the only target in that entire campaign picked by the CIA, according to the US government. And they somehow goofed it. Right.)

I have been backtracking and was startled by the attacks on karlof1, who always makes a point of bringing us here the translation of important issues we who don’t have the language skills would miss.
I myself have a bone to pick with the Gilbert Doctorow essay being discussed herein by one of the insulters (who may have had a tragedy in his own life as he divulges- which could account for the very emotional harangue).
But as to the Doctorow discussion, it is clearly not correct in positing very negative assumptions about what can be accomplished in Ukraine. Here I would refer back to Scorpion’s brief comment and link concerning what is happening in Mariupol. Thank you, Scorpion. I was so happy to see you that I didn’t also say then how important was your link. Apologies, and here that link is again, (best to return to Scorpion’s post to access it):

But by factors to infinity worse for many in the Middle East and Africa. Yes, there are rays of light from Venezuela, Bolivia, Honduras, Cuba of course. Even Panama telling uncle thug to back off. I happened to pick up Lao Tzu once again after jazz at midnight at the turning of the year. There is much there – distance meditations – to soothe the soul and find Ataraxia. Peace all.

Whitney Webb says that Blackrock et al want to commoditize nature because they have run out of collateral for the derivatives scams. Let all that sink it. Unsustainable. Seek high ground in mind and body. Don’t forget the whiskey!

Simplicius wrap-up starts with a B quote, nice!
“It’s the end of the year and so I’d like to wish a happy new years to everyone: here’s to the beginning of 2025. B said it best that 2025 saw a remarkable and precipitous decline of the West into tyranny and illiberalism. ”

michaelj72 # 205. I am so very sorry to hear that. So very very sorry. Long ago, I was denied coverage for a condition which eventually forced my retirement. BlueCross said it was “cosmetic.” I left the country and had surgery elsewhere. I can walk again. United “Health” care recently tried its nasty swindle here, but the government, I am proud and amazed to say, made it so difficult for them that they left. Still picking up the pieces, but good riddance. The US healthcare system – not! the dedicated healthcare workers – is pure evil IMHO. If it’s any help at all, I and we here at the bar send you our best wishes and thanks.

Currently my best hope for 2025 and beyond is for a more sane East to arise.

The bar is crawling with empire operatives out to discredit the East.
Meanwhile, we heard about turmoil in Serbia.
People chanting ‘down with Vučić
Unrest in Mozambe , rioters target Chinese biz.
Why does it sound so familiar ?

If you cant beat them, kneecap them,

The west Tonya Harding culture in full display.
