*** Senator Lindsey Graham of sout Carolina is very open about that. Graham has been openly talking about that very topic (see the video). Then the words of the US seceretary of state Anthony Blinken (“We made an investment in Ukraine”) much more sense.***
Graham and Blinken should be kidnapped, transported and given a teaspoon each with which to remove all the minefields in Russian areas formerly occupied by Ukraine.

Milites is giving him credit for something, I did not know Trump has ever demonstrated. I do prefer to be wrong.

With Trump Milites the Fanboi has blinders on. I so far have never been disappointed by Trump. I expect that trend to continue, as an 80 year old man is unlikely to change.

*** Sorry Peter, have to go with Salami on this one-Russia was never going to let fellow Russians in the Donbass get destroyed.***
Moscow didn’t seem to mind that much for eight years.

*** Let’s repeat that again: Zelensky, Budanov, etc. well and alive and untouched, Strelkov in jail.
What does that tell us about the Kremlin? ***

Every now and again, from the generous hand of the local known disingenuous actors, the lie about Russia doing nothing / betraying Donbas gets propagated here. It’s not even worth bring up the obvious / intentionally omitted evidence to the contrary anymore.
Genuine actors should have learned better by now, the rest… well, you know the rest.

When Trump allows such statements to be made on his behalf and says nothing, that indicates his approval of Gorka’s venomous remarks, and this is certainly noted in Moscow.

Spot on. Arch swindlers Trump & Erdogan show their cards to the whole world this November.

*** Russia will offer Ukrainian people a social welfare program and health care. NATO offers bootstraps and trickledown same as USA people get.***
It could, but would be far more convincing if the Russian regime was not itself largely neoliberal, and the Oligarchs had been executed for treason and other crimes.

Granted, the US model has some parallels with the gold import model because the US deploys fiat currency. However, the US will have pulses of economic growth as long as investments in innovation will have access to capital. So the decline will be different. Drying up of access to capital by fiat will be the major factor is my guess.

A fallen hegemon has a long economic correction more than a hundred years that come with the loss of imperium. GB barely left that decline from late 19th century to the end of the 20th.

I don’t see a deal being made in America’s favor, and I feel Trump will have to suffer some egg on his face, which will enrage him as his self-image and public perception mean more to him than the health of the nation.

I can see a deal that trump can sell as a win (and RF covers the central points of de 2021 security proposal)

I suppose the only way to make the evidence irrefutable is for Russia to continue with Oreshnik strikes against NATO targets. If Putin was not bloffing, the evidence should be forthcoming in the very near future.
Posted by: Perimetr | Nov 30 2024 20:36 utc | 244
There might be more targets than Oreshniks right now and the timing not the right one. Wouldn’t expect more than one per month right now.

@Kadath,
There is one thing ODD about the Trump pushing the China and Russia into alliance. The entire Trump “op” was seed funded by Sheldon Adelson. ~60% of Adelson’s corporate “revenue” comes from Macao. Casinos are great laundry businesses. So one really never knows the true source of the money. Macao was ceded to China in 1999.
For Adelson to get his license and construction permit in Macao, it is rumored he had to pay of the PLA and gov some $70 million in vig via a Mr Yang Saixin, so it is rumored (NY Times).
WHY would Xi Jinping allow a Macao front to funnel money on a continuing basis, to The #1 China basher in Murican history, Orange Trump? I mean….is Xi Jinping a chump? Do chumps rise to the very top of the CCCP eliminating all opposition along the way?
Whassup?
Given that the Chinese communist party has a tight grip

Selling to domestic Western audiences is easy. Most Trump fans don’t know anything about the ROW.
Selling Russia after the Minsk betrayals will nearly be impossible. Putin has been adamant that any settlement would have to be based on “current realities” which include massive land transfers, Constitutional neutrality, no NATO, and war crimes for the Zelensky regime for a start.
Domestically, Putin cannot deliver less.
Trump can want whatever he can imagine. Putin is the one with superior military power and far along a victory track.
The moment when the rubber of Trump’s big promises will hit the road is in 6 weeks.

I share that sentiment.
Remember how DJT was going to get Mexico to pay for the wall on the Southern Border? I am waiting for the transformation of that line to ‘Peace in Ukraine in 24 hours.’

GCC leverage is the free trade agreement with Turkey (talks going on) which is supposed to be the biggest fta and which Turkey apparently very keen

Free trade agreements aren’t leverage against Turkish security. Edrogan will walk from that if the Arabs make demands on Idlib.

Trump drops Romania (he can sell the shit-hole country easily on that one and screw the EU), meaning no EU, no Nato, no Nato base, nada. Romania is back under RF’s arms and moldava is reigned in as well.

Romania’s parliamentary elections are today, so we’ll see how that pans out. But their new president is opposed to arming Ukraine, and I think he has veto power. So all the border states of Ukraine, except Poland, oppose arming or aiding Ukraine. Trump won’t have to do much to tip the balance.
Putin gambled that he/Russia could outlast the West/NATO and he was correct. Macron’s government may collapse in France, Germany’s government is out next month. So that just leaves the British and the Poles, and the Baltics “supporting” Ukraine. But none of them will do anything. The British and the Poles will fall in line, and the Baltics don’t have anything to send.

Regarding the oreshnik attack, I geolocalized where the Medvedev clip was shot from!
It was from the roof of a 21 stories apartment building named Ulduz. During some of the salvos, you can see three chimneys on the left of the webcam image… here they are on Google map. The apartment building is here on GM.
I’m deep diving into this to check if some of the oreshnik submunitions fell at the same place (I read somewhere there are not 36 craters! only 12??)

Romania retains the same President and Parliament as before, for the moment. Following the Parliamentary elections today, the two Presidential candidates with the largest pluralities (Nationalist Georgescu and Liberal Lasconi at present, but the first-round vote is being recounted and contested) will compete in the 2nd round, unless the Court annuls the first round and requires a re-vote.
Theoretically, the new President will be inaugurated Dec. 21.

Forwarded from Victor Murakhovsky
We have no motorized rifle or tank units or formations left on the front line. The same applies to the enemy.
The enemy’s losses in tanks and other armored combat vehicles are approaching 20,000 units, exactly the same number concerns combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems and field artillery guns and mortars. I do not think that our losses differ significantly from the figures given.
In regiments and brigades, the armored group is separated into a separate unit and is located at a distance from the line of combat contact. The number of infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and tanks is such that it does not warrant calling the unit motorized rifle or tank. In addition, the need for artillery is covered not at the division or battery level, but at the level of an individual gun and launcher.
All our regulations (platoon, squad, tank / battalion, company / division, brigade, regiment) are designed for the use of motorized rifle and tank units and formations in various types of combat. We have no other regulations. New requirements are being developed as the war progresses. Exactly the same applies to other combat documents, of which there are hundreds.

So one candidate will probably be in jail before the second election and the other candidate is a woman with the same propaganda as Moldova Maia, so she will be the next president no matter what. The current president fully supports her, says everything will collapse, disaster, if anyone votes for the other guy.
But the Romanian twist of the script is that this puppet used to work on TV for many years and she did commercials for toilets among other retarded shows. Can’t make this up! Because that’s all the iq needed for it, ask Zeli the piano player
