The other aspect to that story is also how can Israel’s military leaders not realize by killing Lebanese civilians so indiscrimnately that they are not there by creating more recruitment for Hezbollah. It’s the same with Gaza and the West Bank, they kill, frighten, and torture Palestianians and inevitably they will fight back. Israel died on Oct 8th last year. When Sinwar’s raid was able to trigger a genocide in front of the world, Israel was poisoned, and now it continues to sicken and whither.
There is no path for Israel to get back to the Abraham Accords, just as there is no path for Trump to become a deal-maker in West Asia again. To get the Abraham Accords rolling again, Israel will have to allow a Palestinian state, which is the end of the Greater Israel “dream”. The only thing that keeps Israel together is the obsession with a Zionist ascendancy.
The world has changed, and anyone who doesn’t adjust to “current realities” (to use the Russian term) will struggle mightily.

Natural reaction but too emotional IMO. Orban did some good things regarding Ukraine and he is on the wrong side (IMO) regarding Israel.
Don’t think of people in good/bad terms. Instead, we could try to understand why he’s acting like this in each case. I don’t have clearcut answers either but I think that Orban is an interesting case: he was maligned as “illiberal”, “authoritarian” etc. for long years. He got enough home support to get rid of Jobbik in his coalition. He stood up against Brussels and US when it came to the war, seemingly alone (until Fico joined in). There must be reasons why Austria and Hungary are so stubbornly pro-Netanjahu and I’d like to know what they are. (Germany also is but here the reasons are obvious, if painfully misled.)

The term ‘complex operation’ in this context is important because it indicates that elaborate preparations, involving control and command centers, were involved in the planning. An operation of this nature cannot simply be the work of one or two individuals.
This suggests that Al-Qassam Brigades in Rafah have been regrouped, although it is not clear whether these brigades are able to operate at partial or full capacity.
Elsewhere, in Beit Lahia, Arab military analysts believe that the Beit Lahia Qassam Brigades are operating at a 90 percent capacity, an astounding realization, considering that Beit Lahia was one of the first Palestinian towns to be attacked and flattened by the Israeli military since the start of the war.

Right now there are individually named IDF fighters accused of war crimes, whose cases are being reviewed by the ICC. Since the ICC arrest warrants issued for Netanyahu and Gallant; it’s likely these 1,000 IDF fighters will have arrest warrants issued.,
Eventually the Likud Gov‘t and the IDF will be declared a Joint Criminal Enterprise (JCE) by the International Community. Members of JCEs are subject to sanctions, travel bans, asset seizures, and arrest.
More importantly, foreign supporters of JCEs are also subject to similar sanctions. This means individuals such as Ron Lauder or institutions such as Columbia University could be sanctioned in the EU, Asia, Africa, and South America. Someone like Tom Cotton ditto.
War crimes have no statute of limitations. Anyone getting a international arrest warrant from the ICC will have to lay low for decades.

The current regime in Israel certainly is culpable as you say, as is the regime in the US for abetting the atrocities in Israel. No such atrocities are happening to the indigenous in the US, though there have undoubtedly been such in the past, and there are still injustices needing to be corrected. Pam Bondi is now Tr. ump’s AG nomination. This woman is determined to bury the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights. I do believe he should have been charged with murder because he did kill the young man. It was a consequence of him chasing after someone which resulted in some kind of confrontation. It could also be that Martin deserved killing but one has to let the state do that, regular citizens cannot and should not distribute capital punishment. There is nothing surprising in the public reactions of states to the arrest warrants for N and G.
The US is not a state party to the Statute of the ICC and opposes the ICC as a matter of principle, although it supports it when that suits its interests, for example, when Putin must be indicted.
Russia, China, India, Israel are also not state parties.
Most other countries are (124), and they have an obligation to cooperate with the court and carry our its orders including arrest warrants.
The fact that Germany and Hungary, both state parties, have announced they would not execute the two arrest warrants just reveals their true attitude towards the law, and in particular the ICC.
Other EU states that have announced that they will fulfill their legal obligation are paying lip service to the ICC that they have instrumentalised, which the indictment against N and G demonstrates.
The indictment and arrest warrants came very late and do not charge the most serious crimes being committed, foremost, genocide, for which there is more than enough evidence.
The EU states that have announced that they would arrest N and G know that it wont’ happen because N or G can only come to those states if invited, and they will not be invited, so they will not be arrested.
It’s all a lot of smoke.
If the ICC Prosecutor is independent, professional and ethical (which I say he is not) he should be preparing to expand the charges against N and G to genocide and other crimes, and to crimes they are also responsible for in Lebanon.
He should have directed his staff to collect evidence and expeditiously prepare an indictment against the highest US officials for enabling and supporting the genocide and all other crimes that N, G and other are responsible for.
There is ample evidence of US high officials’ criminal responsibility, certainly for aiding and abetting, and probably also for commission (JCE).
If the ICC Prosecutor and the Court do not do that, what purpose do they serve and who needs them, when the world has unfolding before it daily the most shocking, clear-cut case of genocide and other most serious crimes prohibited today.
No one should accept the US Al Capone style “justice” – let’s charge just anything (to save face) that can get the bad guy(s) behind bars, and forget about it.
Justice is not putting perpetrators behind bars, it is establishing the truth, that means the full extent of the crimes committed and the full scope of the guilt of the perpetrators in a credible, impartial and fair process.
The truth – what exactly happened, who did what to whom and why – is the essence of justice.
Nothing less should be demanded, or approved of in any way for Palestine and Lebanon.

There must be some old-timers in US intelligence who wonder what happened to good old regime change and murder.
I grew up with JFK, RFK, Malcolm X, MLK, various heads of state across the globe – all being eliminated. Now, they can’t get rid of Netanyahu or Zelensky. Well, empires do fade, I guess. Weird Al’s “Party At The CIA” humorously describes the past. Yes, collapse will come when Zio’s shoot each other but we’ve got a ways to go on that. I WOULD like to read updated figures on emigration out of Israel, as that’s a softer prelude to Israeli collapse.
