There is currently a lull, and the longer the lull continues, the stronger it gets and the less profitable it becomes for either side to end the lull.

I think you have a wonderful idea. Let Israel annex Gaza and the West Bank, all of Palestine – with one condition: every inhabitant gets to become a full citizen of Israel. Anyone who doesn’t want to, goes to Gaza. Call it the ‘one and a half state solution’. Of course, this can never happen because Israel can’t form a government without the settlers who are the ‘anti-particle’ relative to Hamas. In other words, government deficits equal increased “monetary savings” for the rest of us, to the penny. Simply put, government deficits ADD to our savings (to the penny).
Bank loans don’t do that. They add to our private sector debt and what we owe the private sector bank. Plus interest.
Bank lending is just as inflationary as government spending. If everyone took out a loan and bought a house then house prices will rise.

In the original article, you can see a couple of maps that show how Gaza has been divided. Israel obviously is not concerned about the UN resolutions that give them 12 months to end occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. After all, if they manage to kill or drive out all the Palestinians by then, it’s a moot point, right?
And the countries of the West do not print any information about this. They know about it, but they use it as a blueprint or something. Humanity has been discarded by the “humans” at the top of the pyramid.

The Israeli army has established permanent military installations in Gaza, aimed at setting up a long-term presence and splitting the strip into three separate zones, Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on 10 November. 
According to the report, the Israeli army plans to separate northern, central, and southern Gaza from each other. The Netzarim corridor – which was established in the early months of the war and has effectively split Gaza into north and south – will play a vital role in this plan, the report adds.

Netzarim has reportedly been transformed into a large military base, around eight kilometers long and seven kilometers wide, including detention centers and interrogation facilities, as well as permanent residences for soldiers, as reported by Yedioth Ahronoth in August. 
It has also been equipped with electricity, water, and communication facilities – as well as a checkpoint aimed at detaining Palestinians who have been pushed out of the northern strip toward the south. 
Israeli geo-analyst Ben Tzion Macales reported on 9 November that Israeli forces have established a new corridor in northern Gaza’s Jabalia – named the Meflasim corridor – which cuts off Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia from Gaza City.
 
“These urban surveying operations that Israel has carried out and is carrying out in the Gaza Strip aim to re-engineer the urban geography of the Gaza Strip in a manner consistent with Israeli security requirements,” according to Palestinian Telegram channel I’lam al-Shimal. 
Israeli troops are unofficially implementing the Generals’ Plan in northern Gaza – which aims to kill or expel all the remaining residents to transform the area into a permanent military zone. 
“No one is returning to the northern area. There is no return to the north, and there will not be,” Israeli Brigadier General Itzik Cohen told journalists this week, admitting that over 50,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from the north. 
The city of Jabalia and its refugee camp have been the focus of this extermination and ethnic cleansing campaign, which has been ongoing for well over a month now. 
Haaretz editor-in-chief Aluf Benn wrote in an article published on 9 September that the Israeli military will “strive to complete its takeover of the northern Gaza Strip from the previous border to the Netzarim corridor. We can predict that this area will then gradually be made available for Jewish settlement and annexation to Israel.”
Despite the extremely difficult conditions that have been imposed on the north of Gaza by the Israeli army – including starvation – the Palestinian resistance continues to fight. 
“The fighting in Jabalia is proving to be among the most difficult fighting since the beginning of the war,” Israel Hayom wrote on 5 November. It added that hundreds of buildings have been booby-trapped, resulting in casualties among soldiers.

Salaam. This is problematic in that it affords a ready mechanism to continue global misdeeds locally while seeking shelter behind the televised and possibly coordinated daily murder. In the extreme your misconstrued moral and ethical fuse blown we are to accept any crime in front of us “because Palestine”. So now one oneself can commit murder per your faulty fuse as long as one expresses “empathy” or other forms of superficial outrage and that would be ok.
The only attitude that can not possibly be gamed is insistence on truth and a uniformly applied standard. Any deviation from this will with high probability create effective means of manipulation. We are in this mess because of disregard for truth. The only way out is rejecting anything that is counter to discerning truth with high probability.

There has been a lot of banter over Hamas conceding to Fatah, an end to agression on Lebanon, etc. Added to this being alleged US pressure on Qatar on Hamas.
It is not worth guessing, the news is swamped now with contradictory propaganda.
Someone mentioned a lull, there is no lull. What there is is a void of direction.
In the meantime massacres and bombings continue, as previously. There is entrenchment of “Israeli” forces and infrastructure in Gaza. There is work on the Syria demil zone. There are stated objectives to claim part of Lebanon.

So at present it looks like a quiet morphing into an outwardly projecting confrontation, ultimately with Iran.

It occurred to me as I was reading about all this construction going on in Gaza, the Golan Heights, and the extreme use of bulldozers and bombs in the West Bank, that Israel has nothing like enough man-power or money for all of this AND supplying enough men/women and weapons to carry on the fighting in all these fronts. How long will it be before the world finds out that it is US companies and supplies and money – directly – doing the building and that we approved all of it in advance?
