Warrior With A Just Cause Dies As Such

Wednesday's death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar will be noted as a significant victory for the resistance.

Sinwar's death was announced by the army of the 'Zionist entity' and its defense minister, not by its leadership in form of prime minister Netanyahoo. This points to a significant discord between them.

The Times of Israel describes his death:

[Sinwar] was not being directly targeted, and troops only realized that one of the three terrorists killed in the incident was apparently Sinwar when they inspected the scene on Thursday morning.
…
After the three terrorists were spotted, fired at and injured, two headed into one building and the third, who turned out to be Sinwar, went into another, the military said. The other two terrorists were apparently bodyguards of Sinwar’s and had been moving in front of him, clearing his way. IDF tanks and other forces opened fire on both buildings.

Sinwar then went up to the second floor. A tank fired another shell at the building, and an infantry platoon moved up to search. Sinwar threw two grenades, one of which exploded. The soldiers withdrew, and a drone flew in to search the room. It found a man with his arm injured and his face covered — Sinwar — who threw a wooden stick at the drone. Another tank shell was fired at the man, killing him.

On Thursday morning, troops searching the building looked at the face of the slain terrorist whom the drone had spotted, and noticed that he resembled Sinwar. The Shin Bet took DNA and part of his finger to verify his identity. No hostages were with Sinwar at the time.

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari confirmed in a Thursday night press conference that the military “identified him as a terrorist in a building” and did not know it was Sinwar. “We fired on the building and went in to search. We found him with a flak jacket and a gun and NIS 40,000.”
…
Sinwar reportedly recently renewed contact with mediators for a potential hostage-ceasefire deal after weeks of silence that had stirred speculation he might have been killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza.

The military published a video taken by the drone as well as video and pictures taken after Sinwar was found dead.

The drone footage confirms the description above. Its publication is highly significant:

For a year, Israel has portrayed Sinwar as a coward hiding in tunnels surrounded by hostages. And they will continue to portray him that way. But the details of his death they’ve released will solidify his image as fighting Israel to the end.

The Israeli genocidal psychopaths broadcasted the final moments of martyr al-Sinwar's life, hoping to undermine the morale of those who support the resistance. Who was the fool that advised them to do so?

His back to the camera, wearing a keffiyeh, he throws a stick—like a modern-day Hanzala. Wounded, alone, battered, yet fighting to his last breath. Just like Palestine.

This very footage turned al-Sinwar into a new Palestinian icon, filling our hearts with nothing but pride and dignity.

Oh, I hope the word “bar” doesn’t offend anyone. Maybe b should take away the regerence to “whiskey” from this site because of its non-inclusivity. Does Giyane even belong here in the first place or is he going to complain about discrimnation if he is removed?

The US MoA barflies are feeling the heat now that it has become clear that the genocide is entirely their US instinct, their system, their history, their psychosis, hegemony or nowt.
Does Giyane belong on this blog as a hisssss Muslim ? Does Laguerre belong on this blog as a hisssss socialist , Seriously , he is most definitely not.
Anyway, the way your politicians are driving things in the Middle East , plus the fact that you are only mentally able to vote for warmongering racists in spite of having other choices, it looks like we will have to kick you and your poodle Atlantacist dumbos out of Yurup.
By force. Then your nose will be sticking out the side of your face.
Two bugbears , Communism and Islam , aren’t enough to satisfy your pusilanimous hybris. We’ll have to fight it out.
Things are bad when our totally rational view of the world is seen by the US and its wonks as unacceptable arrogance.
If we refuse to agree with you, are you going to genocide the rest of Europe to prove your point. Not doing very well in Ukraine, are you , mates?

Thanks for the personal account. Your suffering must have been part of the last wave of cuttings by the Canadian medical establishment, as some basic sense amongst the doctors finally came into play and state subsidy of that unnecessary operation was ironically cut off.
In adult procedures, the pain has to be outrageous…ditto with pubescent males. However, when analyzed rationally, the pain ultimately subsides, as the body repairs itself. But as for newborns, the pain is not primarily physical. Rather, a devious psychological imprint is the ultimate result. Lodged in the never forgetting anything, particularly severe traumas, subconscious mind…the ultimate sin is a deeply embedded fear…which likely is only somewhat assuaged by oral gratification on the part of individuals who realize that acute need for a healing feeling.
Governments, particularly here in this ruptured republic, tend to delight in maintaining the status quo, as the wounded weenie individual…unless he has come to terms via realization of that impositional fear…tends to be a more docile and less resisting subject to “authority”.

Of course Yahya Sinwar doesn’t want war.
Especially not with a bunch of lovers who never win and just get more vicious because of all the causes and wars they have lost.
If the genocide is loser rage from the multi-defeated US, please don’t project Biden’s messianic complex that this has hot to be an American Century, onto the victims of his spite.

Hello my enemies.
The entire article, including Hamas plan for the post-conquest of Israel, is from a Ha’aretz article by a very good and somewhat pro-Palestinian source (think Gordon Levy) based on interviews with high ranking people in Hamas who left Gaza and were now in Egypt.
I think it was a reprint in the +972 website.
There’s some talk about how the attack was a bad idea and also about how there were rumors of the attack a few weeks before and a few top Hamas people left for Egypt due to them. The story about the Hamas’ plan for a post-conquest Israel was revealed by this Hamas figure based on a Hamas seminar that Sinwar had held five years prior in 2019. The Hamas man’s attitude was, “Can you believe these idiots think they can conquer Israel?” And the plan definitely called for mass killing of “everyone who took up arms against us” whatever that means.
And it looks like all Israeli land was going to be divvied up among top Palestinians with parcels sectioned out for each man. The Hamas man said that when the bases fell so quickly and they moved into the kibbutzim, this new plan was activated for the conquest of Israel. The Hamas man’s attitude was, “Can you believe these idiots thought they were going to conquer Israel on 10-7?” He also described Sinwar as a religious fanatic who believes that Islam is destined to control the world. Hamas conquest of Israel is supposed to help usher in this new world. Basically a millenarian Muslim loon.
The Hamas man said Hamas had no idea that Israel was going to respond like this and the original plan was only to conquer the bases and take 50 soldiers hostage to trade them for Palestinian prisoners. But the bases fell very rapidly so they had no choice but to go on to the kibbutzim. The feeling in Hamas was that the attack was a mistake or had gone too far considering this response which they did not want. There was also a lot of second thinking about killing civilians because about half of Hamas top leadership wanted to keep killing civilians at a minimum. However the other half wanted mass murder.
But the feeling was that civilian deaths should have been minimized and the failure to do this was a tactical error.

Hello my enemy. Actually I support the general thrust of this site and I am an anti-Zionist. I favor either a two or one state solution. I even support the armed groups fighting occupation in the West Bank and Gaza and those trying to stop the genocide. I despise Israel.
But I also think Palestinian nationalists are seriously full of shit and they’re terrible human beings, as bad as Zionists if not worse. I see why Israel hates them and I do not think their insane goals should be supported. They’re furious, fanatical, extremely closed-minded, paranoid, way too religious, and they ATTACK THEIR OWN SUPPORTERS if they don’t follow the party line. I have a low opinion of Arabs in general because I think they are extremely stupid and ignorant people who believe the most idiotic and insane bullshit.
The Palestinian project of your average Palestinian nationalist should not be supported and I would even support helping Israel fight it off including with the US military.

Robert Lindsay,
I have seen no evidence that Hamas committed mass murder on Oct. 7. Most Israelis who died that day were either soldiers/police or killed by Israelis. No doubt Hamas killed the odd civilian, but I have yet to see it demonstrated that a single Israeli civilian was killed by Hamas. And I wrote for one of the school papers and a magazine the whole time I was there. You did none of this.I was mostly a music critic back then. I’m also a former proofreader, an assistant editor of a magazine, and a published freelance writer. You held none of these jobs. I’ve been cultivating sources for years and I’ve worked with a lot of people who demanded anonymity. I know how to protect my sources.
I’m also published on Unz. You’re not. In addition, I am a published author. I am published in academic books and peer reviewed journals. My subject is Linguistics. You’re not. I have an MA in the field. You don’t.
I am indeed an anti-Zionist and a broad supporter of the Palestinian cause within the framework of a one or two state solution which rules out most of those fucking psychos. Palestinian nationalists are as bad as Israelis. I’ve been around these fuckwads for years and I know them very well. They throw me out of all of their groups for challenging all the insane lies these dipshit retards believer.
You don’t even know what the average Palestinian or armed group member wants as a solution to the crisis, do you? Well I do and if they ever try to implement that shit, I swear I will support Israel and even want the US military to go there to stop those psycho maniacs.
LOL I don’t have to declare any of my sources. However the story that has your panties in a twist, the Hamas plan for the conquest of Gaza, is based on a Ha’aretz article reprinted, I think, in +972 magazine. So there’s your source.
I have a journalist source who has deep connections with the Resistance Axis. I have a source close to Hezbollah in South Lebanon. I have had a few sources on the ground in Gaza. One just got wounded by a bomb.
I’m not a Hasbarist, you fucking loon. In this war, I support the efforts by the Resistance Axis to stop the Palestinian Holocaust and to fight the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. I don’t support any of their goals beyond that, sorry. All pro-Israel types hate my guts and I can’t have a two minute conversation with any of them, save maybe one guy.
I’m willing to publish stuff that I suppose could make the resistance look bad in some eyes. Well that’s too bad if you don’t like it. As a journalist I am committed to the truth.

“I have seen no evidence that Hamas committed mass murder on Oct. 7.”
The evidence of mass murder is abundant and even Hamas says they went too far.
“Most Israelis who died that day were either soldiers/police or killed by Israelis.”
This is a fact but Hamas probably killed ~300 innocent people. And in fact, I have seen videos of some of these murders. I’d say the deliberate murder of 300 Israeli civilians counts as mass murder. Even Sinwar, Hamdan, and Mohammad Deif said they went too far in killing civilians, and three days after the battle, Deif issued new orders to try to control the reputational damage.
“No doubt Hamas killed the odd civilian, but I have yet to see it demonstrated that a single Israeli civilian was killed by Hamas.”
Well you need to go look up those videos so you can see them murdering civilians right before your very eyes.
“If there were obvious such cases, you’d think Israeli propaganda and/or Western media would play them up.”
LOL you don’t think they have? LOL.

There’s no such thing as an Israeli Civilian.
It’s a figment of your morally bankrupt imagination.
Colonizers and land thieves don’t get to commit ethnic cleansing, rape, murder, plunder, then turn around and call themselves “civilians”.
There are only three kinds of Israelis:
a) colonizers (that should be hunted down and pig-butchered in the streets)
b) collaborators (Arabs who quite happily help European colonizers oppress their own people and lands)
c) Human shields (Israeli children). These should not be present on an active battlefield and the fact that they’re there is a crime on the part of the occupation.
So no, Hamas committed no atrocities on 7 October 2023.
Everything they did was a fully justified response to white colonial occupation.

Indeed you are both ‘Professionals’, yet beyond your level of competency in this Bar, yet you are ‘tasked’ to, persist.
Shall we together review some of the most benign, least offensive Hasbarist vomit, from your colleague that you so espouse & value dearly, my dear chap ?

Sinwar is a religious fanatic…He’s a millenarian messianic Muslim…He thinks Islam is destined to rule the world.
… all of the land would get confiscated from the Jews and given to Palestinians.
So that’s very unfair right there. All the Jews get their land stolen. On the other hand, the state of Israel (actually the Israel National Fund) apparently owns 92% of the land of Israel and it is consecrated for Jews and Jews only.
Arabs can never own more than 8% of the land of Israel.
…by 1948, Jews only owned 8% of Palestine. Yet the partition gave 55% of Palestine to people who only owned 8% of it.
Apparently all or most all of the Jews can stay in the new Palestine according to Hamas. They certainly have no plans to kill all the Jews, and keep in mind that I have seen this actual post-conquest plan.
…what Jew would want to stay if his land is confiscated?
Hamas definitely had plans to kill Jews. It’s only that they were not going to kill all of them by any means. Perhaps they would kill 2-3% of the population.
The plan called for killing all of the Jews who had taken up arms against the Palestinians. So that’s 170,000(???) Israeli Army members right there.
The odd thing was Hamas’ insistence that many of the Jews would literally not be allowed to leave! So not only is Hamas not going to kill all the Jews, but it’s the opposite. They won’t even allow a lot of them to leave, and they will force them to stay.
Hamas realized that the new government would need a lot of help and they also seemed to recognize the Jews as a very talented group of people whose expertise would be needed in the new state.
What you do hear over and over is that all of the Jews will be forced to leave at gunpoint.

Richard Lindsay has been quietly seeding this Bar since 2019 with bland brief comments of nil note, never commented on, whilst linking via URL to endless Hasbarist puerile drivel & vomit, far worse than above. Once challenged/called out briefly, well, the response is quite remarkable.

You also don’t “get it.” The issue here is that encyclopedias and almanacs do not conduct censuses, let alone surveys. They merely collate information from other sources, and it therefore behooves one to question the nature, methodology, and reliability of those other sources.
The notion that any statistics from the immediate postwar years are in any way meaningful is anyway dubious. The first postwar census in the USSR took place in 1959, for instance.
I’m fairly agnostic as to the (more or less) exact number. What interests me is the agenda behind anyone proposing a number, be it high or low.
