Aware that Islamic doctrines have resulted in Fatwahs which strongly discourage or even forbid attacks on specifically civilian populations. But can those Izzy "settlers" living on lands stolen from their owners, as well as guilty of destruction of olive groves and actual assassinations of native Palestinians on their own land...actually be considered as mere civilians rather than co-belligerents as a part of the Oded Plan for destruction of the Palestinian people and conquest of other Arab lands?
This is a vital question which Muslim scholars and even clerics need to ask themselves...ditto the new leaders of the Hezbollah resistance movement. Let's say that public facilities in those settlements were rocketed or missiled in the wee hours of the morning when those structures would be closed over those hours. Any government offices might also receive attention. The aim would be to not directly assault homes and apartment buildings...strictly facilities and infrastructure.

He did make a good point when asked about rumor (news) of Israel ceasing fire in Lebanon, or incursion.
He stated he believed the reason for that recant by Israel is the video Hezbollah put out oderi g evacuations in 25 settlements (Laith called “colonies”). He stated the realization of the rules of the game changing and now Hezbollah will do the ordering around of Israeli citizens, and that Hezbollah will in fact carpet bomb all the “colonies” due to “Israeli forces” being embedded in them.

Financially, Israel is cratering. 65 percent of capital has fled the country. Many, many of their professionals in health care, tech, academica et. al. have relocated to more stable venues. Netanyahu is held in power by those who are most peripheral to the financial stabililty and economic growth of Israel. Smotrich as financial minister says it all. Finally, many large companies, particularly tech, have moved their core operations abroad; these companies profits are tied to world markets - with the result that affiliation with and support for a government (as distinct from country) which engages in high levels of war crime and jubilantly celebrates the incineration of women and children, is a step too far. Such companies accurately project future trajectories, and in the inevitable day after, such association can only taint their services and products. War crimes trials can be expected. US/UK are both bankrupt so the trillions which will be required to rebuild Israel probably will not be forthcoming. The "brand", if you will, is irrevocably tainted for several lifetimes. Israel has never existed independently without high levels of financial, military and corporate support from emigrees - that support can be expected to be attenuated as western governments face financial ruin and BRICS and partners become the stronger financial game in the ROW.
The key to the end of this horrific chapter of world history, with the most publicized genocide brought to living rooms across the world (except EU/US/UK) is the legal removal of Netanyahu, with he and his war cabinet standing trials for their egregious war crimes. Extensive reparations will be in order, but will never be paid because the Axis of Genocide is financially insolvent - but can be expected to be levied against all who are complicit. Wise corporate heads will recognize that Druze, Israeli, Palestinian peoples are bright, talented, hard working - if they joined together, the resultant country could easily become a powerhouse among nations in tech, health care, science and many other areas. Assuming the dropped boosters for the IDF missiles near Salah Aldeen and Samarra are real, then a scenario seems clear.
They fly out of israel and exhaust their 2 x 600 gallon tanks to reach that point, aprox 800 km flight, and head back on internal and conformal tanks, refueling assets are for contingency only.
They launch air to ground ballistic missiles with booster stages. These pre-boosted rocks or sparrows or loras can hit 800 km away . Found very little on effective range of those air launched variants (some are said to hit 1500-2000 km away but the fact is they launched from far into iraq, not from israel or jordan so maybe these ranges are without a warhead).
Assuming not everything is pure propaganda, it seems some of the (second?) wave missiles had HARM like warheads and were sent against the radars that lit up targeting the previous wave.
Iran should propose to iraq a shared AD base in Tikrit...

You cannot see what is happening in Gaza without seeing things that no one should ever see, whatever their age...
The basic local reporting links are filled with horrendous tragedy that as I said no one any age should ever see, have to see or exits.
I find it odd that with the local links shared often you would find some dead military adults NSFMOA...
I think you should look at the local reporters news of Gaza, and then re-evaluate if you think a raid on 8200 is inappropriate video or not. Look at it, see the absolute tragedy(and get local updates).

Under no circumstance is it permitted to attack civilians or destroy civilian life sustaining infrastructure, places of worship, orchards or crops. If an adversary does that, Islam does not permit stooping to that level. Remember, even for those who are of a different mindset, there is ultimate justice!

The linked article - “How Israel is Preparing for a Long Regional War” - indicates Israel is shifting to the expectation of a long attrition war lasting at least another four years. Leaving aside the questionable premise this is at all sustainable, simply becoming part of the internal conversation is a clear admission Israel’s military operations to date, despite the wholesale destruction of Gaza and areas of Lebanon, has achieved nothing and could, based on the quantitative capabilities of its opponents, be said to be losing rather than in a stalemate.
It seems the “ceasefire” discussions, to which Hamas presented exactly the same consistent negotiating position it has articulated since May, is otherwise focussed on a very limited (2 day) ceasefire followed by a hostage/prisoner exchange. Israel appears to be trying to line up what it could present to its public as “wins”: hostages, attack on Iran, declaration of achieving military goals in Gaza and south Lebanon. Shaping perceptions or narratives don’t have to be “actual”.
Hezbollah may go on an offensive if Israel calls halt to Lebanon incursion, but rather than north Israel it may be focussed on Shebaa Farms and/or Golan. Success at either location, i.e. forcing Israel withdrawal, would be a severe psychological blow and be consistent with UN resolutions.

I gave lecture last week on iconoclasm / destruction of images / statues etc. and there was a young student from Iran. She was obviously involved in protest and opposition activity untill she left Iran.
She talked about friends getting arrested and police brutality.
The whole class was very involved into the discussion it was fascinating.
Anyway, me and the Iranian girl ended on agreeing that people in the west simply dont understand that most non-westerners still take religion serious.

On my trips to Iran / MENA, that was the one thing that really made me understand how deep and fundamental the differences between West and East (broadly speaking) are. If you pair that spirit / culture,
with economy development, political independence and sophisticated education, like in Iran, the west is truly lost.
One positive note; the students in my university are super active with Gaza / Palestine. It is great to see some 20yo kids beeing angry about politics. Politics in far away place that is. In my lecture the „kids“ also mentioned that exact point. They grew up with TicTok but now the algorithm bombards them with horrific images from a hellish city wasteland. „Like stuff from a computer game“ was a comment which i will not forget.

I think they would want to be reasonably close because ballistic missiles in flight will light up early warning radars while aircraft flying a route designed to go through areas with no or minimal radar coverage a lower levels are less likely to do so.

I don't know if a country that received fully functional nukes from another country would really have to conduct the typical tests.
