What Roger said has some merit it seems, there is a long thread on X about the psychological damage and Israeli soldiers refusing frontline duty. At the moment, I am operating on the theory the Izzies will not attack Iran, but instead attack the non-state resistance that is less well-able to retaliate, i.e. Gaza/West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen in order of easiest to get to. This based on the obvious fact they are cowards, and the fact they are already doing that.
Israel is enmeshed in a war with half-a-dozen parties now and no idea how to get out of it. Sinwar knew his enemy, his plan to drag them into a long war of attrition is happening as we speak.
So basically, I don’t think Iran will need a nuke, for that and other reasons (like Russia & China).
