Israel – Invading Lebanon To Prolong And Expand Its Supremacists War

Is it a trap?

That is the question the Zionists should ask themselves. To me the answer seems to be 'Yes!'

The Zionist entity is invading Lebanon – again. All earlier such invasions have ended in failure. Zionist troops had to retreat under fire. The current invasion is unlikely to see a better fate.

The Izzies, and their U.S. sponsors, are delirious over their perceived success in killing a number of Hizbullah officials including its leader, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.

Don't they understand that Hizbullah has explicitly been built in ways that allow it to sustain such losses? All the murdered officials have already been replaced. If these new ones get killed their replacements are ready.

Before last week the war between the resistance was restricted to an (unequal) exchange of missiles. Israel fired many more than the resistance but not to more effect. The nature of that slow walking war of attrition will now change.

An Israeli ground invasion is exactly what Hizbullah has prepared for. It has readied its ambush sites. Its weapons and the people need to launch them are down in their well prepared bunkers.

The invading forces will be subjected to all kind of surprises. The ground troops are expected to proceed only after heavy preparatory bombing. But the mountainous grounds will allow the defenders to survive the bombing and to attack when and where they are least suspected. I do expect heavy military casualties but mostly on the attacker's  side.

This war will likely go on for several months. It could easily extend into a years long and much larger conflict.

The Biden administrations is in full support of the invasion. It may even have urged Netanyahoo to proceed with it:

Senior White House figures privately told Israel that the U.S. would support its decision to ramp up military pressure against Hezbollah — even as the Biden administration publicly urged the Israeli government in recent weeks to curtail its strikes, according to American and Israeli officials.

Presidential adviser Amos Hochstein and Brett McGurk, the White House coordinator for the Middle East, told top Israeli officials in recent weeks that the U.S. agreed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s broad strategy to shift Israel’s military focus to the north against Hezbollah in order to convince the group to engage in diplomatic talks to end the conflict, the officials told POLITICO.

The Pentagon though is not convinced that this operation will be a success. It fears that, at some point, the U.S. forces will be sent in to rescue the Izzies from a severe defeat.

The Netanyahoo government will try its best to expand the war into Syria or, even further, into an all out war on Iran. It will need the full military support from the U.S. to do so. Its political maneuvering towards the U.S. will thus be done with the intent to further drag it into the war.

Without the full support of the U.S. Israel will fail to become the regional superpower it is striving to be.

With full U.S. support their might be a chance, a small one though, for Israel to win this round.

When the European crusaders tried to colonialize the Levant they built some 37 large castles to hold to their gains. Some 150 years later the crusaders had left. The castles though still exist. They are a reminder that those lands are not easy to take and – moreover – to keep.

Comments

1) WRT relevancy of the Crusades, you’ll find that the people who were invaded remember a lot longer than those who invaded. I did some digging and found the role of Cyprus to “rhyme” historically WRT the Crusades. Richard the Lionheart conquered Cyprus, sold it to the Holy Roman empire and it was western-controlled for about 400 years until the Ottomans took it. Then ~300 years later the British bought it. Britain granted Cyprus independence on the condition that they retain their two military bases there. Those bases are where the western weapons stop just before delivery to Israel and where US and UK military flights around the Levant originate.

Options contracts vary according to country (ie in the US you can exercise a contract anytime before expiration while in European contracts you can only exercise on the strike/expiration day). I have traded options in my IRA and they do make you jump through some hoops before they will enable your brokerage account to trade options (thick pamphlet filled with tinyfont legaleze). I could have enabled naked puts and calls but did not for the same reason I don’t use leverage: this is how you lose all your money. I just sold covered puts.
tl;dr – at least in the US it is legal for a private citizen/non-bank to engage in naked shorts
I hope this finds you well

Again, my point was that Lebanon is a US ally. Hobbled armed forces are a US standard.

A theoretical US ally, simply because they desperately needed the help because of the disastrous economic crisis. The hobbling was far more severe than for other US “allies”. It was Cessnas in the place of limited F15s, or whatever it is they mostly have.

The EU will remain shamelessly pro-Zionazi for any (or any combination) of the following reasons:
1. They take orders from Uncle Sam and fear retribution(e.g. economic and other forms of blackmail) if they don’t.
2. They take orders from the Zionazi entity and fear retribution (as above, plus nuclear Samson Option threats) if they don’t.
3. They’re looking forward to replacing Evil Russian Oil and Gas with Most Moral “Israeli” (formerly Gazan and Lebanese) Oil and Gas.
No doubt there are yet other reasons, but these three are most likely the biggies.

The drum beat for war from the God Of Mammon side is very loud and still the axis of resistance measures its response to barbarism carefully.
This is how the bully of empire goes down w/o nukes…they don’t get their war and collapse from reality meeting hubris and lies.
If empire gets a war on it will be though more lies and deceit.
And we get to watch this movie for free….isn’t that fun!…./s

Iran is getting ready to attack according to US government.
I hope it won’t be just to put a few holes here and there. Take out the runways, military and civilian, and paralyze the planes on the ground. You take out Israel’s air dominance, you take more than 50% of their capabilities.
More than anything though, optics are very important. The axis needs to feel that Iran has their backs. Unfortunately, Iran elected an inept and inexperienced president who is giving Israelis all they need to do as they please. Big change from President Raisi’s era.
I imagine, Khamenei had to finally put his foot down.

Dr Rob Campbell@1459
Strategically, the so-far fake invasion of Lebanon, appears to have at least two goals: First one is for home-front consumption. The Izzy populace, though gang-ho for genocide is becoming more and more restive on several fronts. First, there are those who are concerned over the Hamas hostages.
Secondly, the more cultured Izzies are unhappy with the whole rigamarole. However, their numbers are rapidly fading, as most of them have dual citizenship passports and have gotten outta Dodge while the getting is good. In the third iteration the majority, in fact, are conditioned from very young ages that they are superior to all those “Goyim” (cattle) and are the Chosen Ones of their satanic emblemature, JHVH, aka Yahweh, aka Jehovah. However, these types are becoming extremely nervous, anxious and fearful, due to Resistance missile and drone attacks which target military elements and NOT civilians.
As for the other side of the strategic equation, the Izzies desperately want to smoke out the Iranians, so they can get full and active backing from the Talmudists’ designated attack dog…the military forces of the U$$A. So far the Persians, a far older. and more intellectual race than the Khazarians, the Mizrahim and even the mostly Berber descended Sephardim…are not rising to the baited treble-barbed hook.
Iran, despite a long string of intense provocations…are keeping their powder dry while those U$$A attack dogs…particularly the naval forces…are manned by sailers who have not set foot on land for month after month. They are both weary and wary. Who can tell whether their commanding admirals would be willing to wreck their careers by not following desperation orders emanating from the Pentagram.

May be it is the first time to disagree with b.
Hisbola or Hamas do not have sufficient anti-tank and anti- aircraft weaponery like Russia do have. So, Izzys can do what they want to bomb or to destroy whatever they want. In Lebanon, they would not face any dangerous trouble.
BUT:
Great Israel on a map is partly located in iranian territory. So for an true zionist, Iran has to be erased. Izzy can’t do that alone. They need US partipication. THAT is the reason, why IDF may face some trouble in Lebanon, to get US in. Hisbolla is IMHO only the usefull idiot.
The second reason for an full blown war (against Iran) is the attempt to destroy BRICS common money system, what is THE real threat to US Dallar hegemoney. They MUST hinder that development at all costs.
404 hasn’t worked. They underestimated Russia in a catastrophic way. So they decided to bring war to the weakest enemy – Iran.
But as every Plan a, this one may be gone down the pipe if challenced.

IMO, both you and I know the Zionists aren’t at all interested in peace until they’ve attained their goals–genocide of the entire region conforming to the Greater Israel Scheme. It’s that or defeat. And we both agree this is also the Neocon Outlaw US Empire plan and was ever since Wolfowitz in 1992. The rumors around the Empire finally deciding to leave Iraq are just that–lies to keep people off-balance just as the “restraint” and other formulas were.
On Iran, Syria Girl has confirmed what Crooke reported yesterday about the attempt to circumvent Khamenei by the current president and Zharif via a backdoor deal with the Empire, that was again all lies. Iranian protests have been huge calling for the new president’s ouster. The reformists have shot themselves in the head by even trying to accommodate Iran’s greatest enemies; so, look for some short-term political turmoil there as the current regime gets removed and replaced by hardliners unafraid to confront the Empire and the Zionists.

Were one to catalog all the surnames in Eire; it would be difficult to discover a more ugly one than McGurk. The very sound of it resembles that of vomiting with something stuck in the gullet.
In a word, it is extremely inelegant.
Now, as for the front-name, Brett as a given name indicates an individual of fading youth, likely someone born between the very late 70’s and through the 80’s.
Subconscious anxiety over the unfortunate surname is a district possibility. Brown-nosing and or blackmailable actions during his 20’s is not improbable in his ascension into a relatively high orfice. These types are a dime a carload for the devious selectors to employ as well-spoken tools to influence the fools. Sans research, McGurk may even be one of those semi-bright and highly malleable Ivy Leaguers…a curse on most of that lot.

Astute take on degrading the Izzy AIRFARCE. Without aerial supremacy, the IOF would closely resemble a duck attempting to race while waddling through sand-dunes and up mountains. All resistance forces should concentrate primarily on those airfields and planes…the more the merrier.
On the other side of the ticket, that recently elected president of Iran likely understands quite well that he does not possess any significant level of actual agency. Not quite so hamstrung as the current puppet, that $enile One occupying the Tainted House in the Di$trict of Corruption…that current president of Iran is mostly window-dressing…a man who gets his orders from higher up in the Tehran equation.

@the omg why isn’t Hezbollah doing anything about the fake videos of tanks.
They are trolling. The videos of massive number of tanks at the border are in the vast majority, if not all, fakes/misrepresentations. So was the video of supposed 40k troops massed up in Syria at the Golan border.
Don’t feed the trolls.
At best what has been said is there are troop concentrations, and attacks against such with indirect fire. Indirect fire is not very conducive for videos while people concentrating and getting hit aren’t going to put them out of attacks against them. Maybe drone footage will come out, I have not seen any yet.
If Hezbollah puts them out it would most likely be in the style of the videos I posted last thread and Exile reposted here Oct 1 2024 15:17 utc | 106.

Generally a valid posting. One element to bear in mind is to consult a topographical map of Southern Lebanon. From a quick scan you will fast realize that the Merkava tanks would be easy targets in such terrain. So the dearth of anti-tank weapons, even were that indeed the case, would little trouble Hezbollah.

Did they? I have a lot doubts about most of the history we have been given. To me, the history of castles worldwide often does not add up. For example, there are a lot of old castles on Okinawa, far more than that tiny island would seem to need.

I don’t know Okinawa, but if we limit the discussion to Lebanon there is no doubt that some of the castles are megalithic and far, far older than the crusades.

Professor Mohamed Mirandi makes a very interesting point about Israhell’s strike against Hezbollah:
1. The entire “blast radius” of Israhell’s strike was limited to Beirut. This is because of the heavy concentration of Western intelligence (run from 5-eyes embassies) in Beirut.
2. However, outside of Beirut, the damage against Hezbollah was almost zero.
The communication network of Hezbollah wasn’t compromised outside of Beirut, neither was it’s leadership.

Given that the only impacted infrastructure was limited to Beirut the damage to Hezbollah’s survivability, was small.

For 80 years or more, ‘Israel’ and the combined power of the West had been concentrated on a teeny, tiny little sliver of land.

In that time they spent most of their time murdering women and children and abusing old men.

They were never actually able to eke out past that teeny tiny little sliver of land and couldn’t even hold weak, shitty Lebanon and the bloody Sinai desert (ffs!).

They’ve got random desert bums lobbing missiles at them on a daily basis and despite all the tech they can steal from Uncle Sam appear to be powerless to do anything about it.

Except murder a few hundred women and children now and again, and a bunch of geriatrics – at which point all the morons go “WOW!”.

This is your ‘regional superpower’???

There is a whole lot of “Iran moving ballistic missiles to launch pads”. I would take all these to be propaganda. As far as I can tell all of Iran’s MRBM, ones with plenty of range to hit Israel are mobile/vehicle launch, not taken to a launch pad and setup.
Was thinking it was a bunch of hype, but seems there are reports of a huge amount of missiles being launched from Iran. It won’t be 15 minutes before it’s probably obvious if that is hype or not.

US intelligence and military support was detrimental in what has unfolded the past weeks. The US empire is too generous in letting the Zionazis taking all the credit. This war seems like a “good” distraction off the failures and defeats on the Eastern Front. With Western weapons, Western mercenaries and Western soldiers now being funneled to this Zionazi war vs Hezbollah, let’s hope the Russians are able to make good use of this opportunity and finish off the Ukrainian disaster. Ugledar is already very hope giving.

The US has no friends and no allies. The US is a hegemony, anyone who is worthy of respect is an adversary. The hegemonic game is one of zero-sum.
Europe, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Israel are all vassals.
Israel doesn’t control America. America controls Israel as a proxy not dissimilar from Ukraine. Apartheid and genocide are American policies abroad (considering pharma and Big AG, abortion, etc, at home as well).
The entire concept of Greater Israel is an American colony in the ME annexing several ancient and sovereign nations.

It seems that Iran will retaliate soon (I do not know why everyone know when Iran will retaliate but nobody when Israel will attack), I hope they have coordinated with Hezbollah + Houthies + Irak PMF to attack ALL of them at the same time in force, to saturate the air defenses. I would hope some hundreds of missiles and some hundreds of drones coming from all possible direction to Occupied Palestine and attacking, in order of priority:
1) The air bases
2) Air control bases
3) Air defenses
4) The chemical and high-tech compound in Haifa
5) Some military command centers inside the cities, you know, the child-murderers always use human shields and install their command centers inside cities near civilian buildings.
If I were the Iranians I would wait to retaliate up to the land invasion of Lebanon, because then the planes working in the air support of troops would be diverted to shot-down Iranian drones + cruise missiles to protect settlers’ cities and that is the good moment for the Hezb fighters to give the child-murderers a real lesson.
I hope also the Russians are estarting to help Iran and then Hezbollah with their IRS to level a bit the field

19:47 Zionist media: More than 400 missiles were fired from Iran at ‘Israel’

Posted by: psychohistorian | Oct 1 2024 17:16 utc | 182

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that they fired tens of missiles at Israel.
The IRGC said the attack was in retaliation for the killing of Hamas’s leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan, who was killed last week along with Nasrallah.
The IRGC said it would target Jerusalem again if Israel retaliates.

A “trap” is an interesting, indeed essential, topic indeed considering the subject. But, first of all, let us ask what exactly constitutes a “conspiracy”? Was Oct 7 a conspiracy, if so, how so precisely? Were the Israeli pager attacks against Hezbollah a conspiracy. I’d argue they fit most classical definitions of conspiracy you can come up with. So there’s this wider matter of particular conspiracies, what constitutes one, and ultimately how far they reach, specially, chronologically, epistemically, etc.
Trump, for his part, has been both subliminally and indeed directly referring to conspiracies for years, before, during, and now after his presidency. But I don’t honestly recall him ever saying something along the lines of: “If I get relected, you, the American people—who it is clear have so little trust in government officials of both parties—will become the beneficiaries of a New Department dedicated to studying in great depth conspiracies perpetrated with your monies but without your knowledge, not a few of which have surely been and continue to be perpetrated against you by the same old elites in both parties.”
And indeed persons within his own party, for example certain senators would be loath to hear such a speech, as literally disarmingly insane! Not because it’s predicated on too many untruths, but because it brings the gross hypocrisy with which the US, and all ‘Great Powers,’ act upon the world stage to light, and the problem lies precisely in highlighting this hypocrisy, not because it isn’t obvious to (silent) majorities in the West already, but because it sanctions (i.e. promotes) a deep reading of all major (and many seemingly non major) events through the prism of the MSM qua conspiracies in themselves.
In other words, there’s a continuity of conspiracy from true causes of events to actual recounting of events in the MSM (which pretends disinterested accuracy), wherein elementary questions are all too frequently not asked either in the immediate reporting following the occurrence of the event, nor moreso (because with much less justification) in the follow up articles relating to a specific event days, months, years after. In other words, the MSM, in conjunction with an Internetic atmosphere that both stimulates conspiracy thinking but simultaneously addles the mind with cognitive-sensorial distractions, constantly subliminally undermines common sense (perhaps selectively but nevertheless all too frequently) where it is most needed.
For example, the phenomenon of Oct 7 has, to be sure, invited much conspiratorial speculation on various Internet fora, almost all without any substance to back it up. Yet, on the other hand, it doesn’t appear that the “enemies” of Israel, aka “Axis of Resistance,” themselves have called into question the essential facts of Oct 7 (in measured contradistinction to Egypt or certain internal critics of the present Israeli regime). To wit, that Hamas didn’t fall into a trap, nor did Israel leave the door ajar as it were, in order to “teach” the thief (or, perhaps “thieving race,” as Netanyahu might say) a lesson. Quite the contrary, the “Axis of Resistance,” including such sophisticated actors as Iran, seem to continue to insist that they might not have directly known about Oct 7 beforehand, but that according to their assessments, it was a genuine act of resistance and that there was no indication it was a preemptive trap by Israel at all. However these aforesaid actors have themselves apparently and genuinely fallen quite recently into the most astounding traps and incontrovertible conspiracies set up by Israel subsequent and arguably consequent to Oct 7. The most specifically astounding and classically (but also) surreally conspiratorial, being the mass detonation of pagers and walkie talkies in Lebanon, followed by the decapitation of Hezbollah in supposedly their deepest and most guarded lairs. Do these specific aforesaid events, which obviously stand as an overt challenge to the itself cliched and incoherent denial of conspiracies in the MSM as a common, even determinative, act of state power, not beg the question of How was it possible for Israel, clearly a master of the conspiratorial craft both at the micro and macro scale (often two sides of the same coin), to not anticipate an Oct 7 event with reasonable efficacy?
This is not to say that Israel did indeed actively or passively facilitate the Oct 7 Hamas attack against itself (although Netanyahu did seem shockingly little concerned with the welfare of the Israeli hostages) and all that that implies: So yes, Hamas was suddenly able to appear out of the blue with motorbikes, trucks, and bulldozers and charge at the security fence without any effective resistance or hardly any casualties. So yes, Hamas militants were able to aerially glide at a slow pace into Israeli territory and unleash mass destruction on a most unfortunately congregated multitude of young disarmed, possibly intoxicated, Israeli men and women who basically stood like sitting ducks less than a mile from the security fence. So yes, all this happened sans the Israeli government being actively or passively culpable because it had sufficient epistemic cognizance so that failure to act could reasonably be discerned as logically inexplicable outside of the aforesaid types of conspiracies.
***
On the one hand, Israel’s clearly exceedingly well and long-planned conspiracies against Hamas and especially Hezbollah leave one aghast and immediately asking And yet the government that could do this couldn’t even remotely effectively predict Oct 7? On the other, it is not only the Israeli government itself that denies such morally “unthinkable” conspiracies, nor just the latter seconded reflexively by the Western MSM, but rather it is seemingly it, naturally the US and Western allies, and Western MSM, joined by the Israeli victims/survivors of Oct 7 (both civilian and military), and even more notably, by the “Axis of Resistance,” which either claims, naturally to a point, that it did not fall into an Israeli trap (although Israeli has behaved terribly unjustly and disproportionately), or that it had nothing to do with Oct 7 (Hezbollah and Iran), but had not the slightest doubt it was a genuine act of resistance that did not fall prey to precognizant Israeli subterfuge.
All of which is very striking, that even as the “Axis of Resistance” founders and sinks in Gaza, in Lebanon, even in Iran comparatively speaking, there’s no temptation to exclaim out of genuine conviction or Machiavellian desire to sow doubt: Oct 7 is not what it seems! It was a great betrayal. Israel betrayed itself, and through that the entire world! Yet would that not imply that Hamas betrayed Gaza equally so through its insurmountable naive incompetence or for reasons darker still…As dark as the ocean’s deepest depths. In short, might it be that Oct 7 is an unpronounceable abyss that joins all the antagonistic forces in its tentacles and pulls them deeper into doom?

Trap? I don’t get all these 5D chess attributions to Russia and esp not Iran or Hzb.
For sure Hzb has a plan to ambush any IDF invasion, but as evil and demonic the Israelis have shown to be, it is naive not to think they have not learned from their own mistakes, they are depraved, not stupid.
I dont think Israel is planning to invade Lebanon like in 2006. They may do localized tactical raids to target leaders, key assets and score some PR, but they don’t need to invade, they just need to keep bombing and make the area uninhabitable. They hope to beat the Lebanese into submission.
Iran will either be exposed as a feckless toothless adversary and a liability as an ally, or get drawn into a war that will involve the US, in which case all bets are off then. But no one is walking into any traps here.

I believe this is true because:
TASS has article that Netanyahu “might call” Putin to se if he could persuade Iran not to.
https://tass.com/world/1850581
The discussions are taking place amid reports that Iran is readying a strike on Israel, according to the report.
“If the phone conversation takes place, it will be aimed at asking Putin to exert influence and prevent a direct Iranian attack on Israel,” the news website said.“
The article says to me: Netanyahu called Putin and Putin said he would do what he could.
Putin realizes Khomemi has made his mind up.
And possibly all jabber.
