For Doubters – Hizbullah Reports That It Is Back

The Zionists had hoped that their terror tactics of exploding pagers and the bombing of Hizbullah's leadership in Lebanon would hinder or decrease its enemy's ability to fight.

That hope however was in vane. Hizbullah, like its Hamas ally in Gaza, was build to sustain its efforts despite such incidents.

Today, Naim Qassem, the deputy leader of Hizbullah appeared in a broadcast and declared that Hizbullah remained fully operational:

In his address, Qassem stated, “We are firing hundreds of rockets and dozens of drones. A large number of settlements and cities are under the fire of the resistance.” He emphasised that Hezbollah's top leadership remains active and that the posts of the slain commanders have been filled, asserting, “We have no vacant posts.”

How useless it is to kill an enemy's leadership was also shown in Gaza:

[A]n insight into what is actually going on in Gaza was offered by Israel's latest announcement that it had killed three senior Hamas officials – Rawhi Mushtaha, the head of government and de facto prime minister; Sameh al-Siraj, who held the security portfolio on Hamas’s political bureau; and Sami Oudeh, commander of Hamas’s General Security Mechanism.

The air strike happened three months ago, and no one had noticed their absence. This is because Hamas continued to function regardless of which leaders were alive or dead.

In the past, assassinations had led to a period of uncertainty for Hamas. This happened after the killing of Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi in 2004. But it does not work today and nor does it work with this generation of fighters.

Yesterday Hizbullah fired five missiles on the harbor city of Haifa. Today 100 more missiles followed.

These are in response to Israel's bombing of Beirut's suburbs.

Israel has committed several division to invading the south of Lebanon. The distance they have managed to intrude from the border is still measured in mere meter.

Elijah J. Magnier 🇪🇺 @ejmalrai – 16:07 UTC · Oct 8, 2024

#Hezbollah's media warfare department is back: command and control is fully operational. Missiles and drones are filmed as they are launched. This means that the Ridwan ops will be filmed as it confronts the Israelis, in order to restore the morale of resistance supporters against the invaders.

Yesterday missiles from Gaza, Iraq and Yemen were aiming at Tel Aviv. Today Hizbullah also sent missiles towards it. Each such attack will cause an air alarm. People will interrupt their work and go into bunkers. Israel's air defense will exhausts it supplies while at least some missiles get through and hit their targets.

How long will the Israeli society sustain such stress?

The IDF Home Front Command is issuing stricter guidelines in several cities near Haifa, which prevent schools from operating.

Schools will not be able to open in Kiryat Ata, Kiryat Bialik, Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Motzkin, under the latest guidelines. Schools will stay open in Haifa itself, provided that a bomb shelter can be reached quickly enough.

The change comes after Hezbollah fired 105 rockets at the Haifa area this morning.

The Zionist prime minister Benjamin Natanyhoo urged the people of Lebanon to raise against Hizbullah. For him to do so must mean that the war is not going the way he hoped. There is zero chance that such an uprising will happen.

On October 1 some 200 missiles from Iran hit military targets in Israel. The publicly available videos show dozens of hits on an air base with hangers and planes affected. Damage at the other targets is still kept under censorship. But is is obvious that most of the Iranian missiles passed through Israeli air defenses and hit their intended targets.

While Israel has said that it will hit back in revenge for the strike is has yet to do so. It is likely that it fears the response that Iran would unleash on it.

There are thousands of missiles hidden in well protected Iranian sites that are aimed at elements Israel needs to function. Its electricity networks, refineries, harbors and airports are all targeted and would be hit.

This will be a long war and Israel, which had expanded and escalated it whenever possible, is not prepared for it.

from https://t.me/s/Middle_East_Spectator NEW: Hezbollah launched more than 200 rockets at Safed, one of the largest barrages since the beginning of the war
More good news, I do hope that these strikes on various settlements/cities continue as they will have a cumulative effect on the Israeli economy and on the psyche/morale of the Israeli occupiers. These continued strikes may also force the cornered rat (Netanyahu) to lash out at Iran (keep reading posts on the various telegram channels that this is “imminent”) Face it, the only hope/chance that Israel has is to drag the US into this morass. IMHO, for Hezbollah it’s time to start using precision missiles, particularly on air bases. No need to save/husband them, this is war! Israel has already announced that if Hezbollah does not surrender, Beirut will look like Gaza City (remember that “limited incursion”?). So why wait, to paraphrase Putin , if you know you’re going to be in a fight, strike first and hard.

The Turkish Parliament has convened a closed door session, called by Erdogan, yesterday to address Israel’s expansionist plans will eventually include Turkey. The pro-American, “liberal” CHP party stated that Turkey has nothing to worry about because America supports U.S.
Everyone seems to point the finger at duplicitous Erdogan, which is true, but Erdogan works within the Turkish political system. Just as there are so many people in US and Europe that are blinded by the pro American propaganda, the same is true in Turkey. Liberals in the U.S. are brainwashed to fear Donald Trump and won’t budge from that position, liberals in Turkey are hyped up to fear Sharia law and connect “Arab Issues” with supporting Erdogan and Sharia Law.

To ‘both’ sides of this argument, I suggest that regardless of whether the creation of oil is biotic or abiotic or a mixture of both, there remains the question of the rate of its creation, vs the rate of its consumption. Some restraint in consumption might be wise until this is resolved.

==============
Regardless of issues of availability, “pure science” requires that we research and understand the actual origins of hydrocarbons. The availability issue should not, IMO, drive the scientific debate such that visions of endless oil are the only reason to check challenge the biotic origin theory.
I have read a now somewhat old paper that sets forth the arguments/evidence, and to me as a nonexpert the abiotic-origin arguments are the stronger ones.
Of course we should be conserving, also regardless of the source of the “fuel” or “power” we use.
Oddly, the emphasis on “renewables” seems to have ended up with the idea of conserving energy—like, don’t waste it, FFS!!—seems to have gone out the window. EV owners are convinced that renewables are endless. Their only issue is the range of their EV.
Meanwhile, however, paradoxically, the Net Zero vision seems to be predicated on drastic top-down mandates to reduce energy use. Not voluntary, for the sake of nature, the environment, reduce air pollution, etc., but forced on populations to fight “climate change.”
I guess this is OT—except that waging war on the ME and Russia to control energy and other resources is the biggest waste of energy and CO2 foot print on the planet.
We can just buy the oil we need.

Sometimes I despair at the base ignorance around me in the physical bars that I inhabit.
Harmless most might think. Including the ignorant themselves interested in having daily fun with booze or football. The neoreligions.
But whether it’s the interweb (jury is out , hey we are here on it after all) or the mass entertainment industrial complex ( teevee and movies ) with its cultural hegemony (guilty as charged m’lud) or the dumbing down printed news media (murder by Murdoch since the 70’s (hang him high!) or the equal dumbing down from childhood by taking children away from reading – I mean the numbers of younger generations -kids to 50 year olds I meet – who never read books, don’t know how to spell let alone understand what words mean …
or do mental basic arithmetic (unless you are an actual yank please don’t use the turgid ‘math’ when talking of adding, subtracting, division.)
Of all the techs that we have been ‘blessed’ with I think it is the mobile phones which started us down the road of txtspk and then went onto smart phones which I think is the main accelerant in the last decade, along with the social media brain and privacy sucking that goes with it.
Emojis .. the endless never ending new icons – have even taken away the abilities to make any semblance of meaningful speech – it is reduced to a 🤡 world for the majority of the deluded Collective Western users I observe. Is it the same in Asia and Africa? God help them if it is.
However when it comes to our virtual bar, thoughtful, learned, enquiring, helpful, blessed by the great b with his crafted analytical main posts which sets us off bantering below the line – it’s the base ignorance of definition of subjects that irks me most.
When we talk of Nature as some ‘force’. When we say that ‘rule of the jungle’ is an actual thing. When we say something is Science – when it clearly is not by definition of ‘science’. When we take conjecture and certain models and choose the ones that suits our objectives, pre judgments- prejudices.
When we don’t know or understand yet, our own planet and it’s interlinking geophysics and biology and limits. When we don’t even consider the scale of that, never mind the stuff in our immediate near outer space , never mind these great planets wandering through the skies and what they are formed of and how much of it.
I despair at the failure to grasp that massive bigness . INFINITY is scary I understand.
All ignored so that in our short lives we spend our time thinking it is me, I, us chosen few, who are the most talented, learned and historically and biologically pinnacles of Humanity and intelligence that ever lived and will ever live.

‘Why should freedom of speech and freedom of press be allowed? Why should a government which is doing what it believes to be right allow itself to be criticized? It would not allow opposition by lethal weapons. Ideas are much more fatal things than guns. Why should any man be allowed to buy a printing press and disseminate pernicious opinions calculated to embarrass the government?’
<= The US declaration of independence says . that all men are created equal, that they [men] are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying the foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness..
These words, written by those who understood how a few can use government to impose tyranny on the many, became the basis for establishing relief from the tyrannies imposed by the British Empire and its control over the British Colonies in what is now USA governed America.
The citizens right to self determination, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness became the basis for being an American. These basis, enshrined in the Bill of Rights, serve as red lines limiting the authority of government to infringe on the rights of mankind. The Bill of Rights protect the governed from those who govern. When Government crosses these red lines, it likely authorizes mutiny and encourages the formation of new governments.
But experience has shown that a few more red lines need to be drawn. I have a made a list of 12 amendments (not presented here) I would like to see added to the constitution.. maybe you can suggest a few.

While that is unquestionably the right moral decision, it is also clearly not in Turkey’s geopoltical and economic interests to do so. For instance, it would no longer be a reliable energy distributor in the region which would create tremendous economic and legal costs for Turkey, a nation that is currently beset with significant economic problems. It also will put a very big target on Turkey’s back and accelerate any Western ambitions on Turkey. However, the calculus of Turkey’s interests changes if it can be established that Israel has expansionist plans include Turkish territororial integrity. This is exactly the subject that is being debated now, but unfortunately, their discussions will not be made available to the public. I did see Max Blumenthal appear on TRT World this morning, a news service with a gigantic audiance, with a very explicit discussion on the evils of the current Zionist regime. Turkey’s press is controlled, so it indicates that the PTB in Turkey want the message out.

It’s October 9th, and early voting has begun in the US. It is now practically too late for a Gaza-Israeli ceasefire to affect the election, even if a miracle occurs in the next six dats. If nothing happens by October 15, all those Muslim voters in MI and GA will not vote for Harris and some will go to Trump.
So, we can conclude that Biden for whatever reason no longer cares about getting a fake ceasefire deal, and he also doesn’t care whether Trump wins as he hates Harris.

Unfortunately, Waldorf “fake coup” merely indicates you his politcal party. Just as Trump clearly missed a bullet by the miracle of God from the Right, but clearly had a fake assasination attemmpt according to the Left. Personally, when I saw a scared Erdogan begging the Turkish public to assist him duing the assasination, I thought it was real. It would be like Trump, begging the public for help after the bullet in Indiana (rather than the American flag photo op), a person with that giant of an ego, would never resort to thatt unless it was real. I also know of the US’s never ending coups over anyone who remotely defies their will. Erdogan’s response of purging the Gulen’s aka CIA psyops, is consistent with the behavior of any good neurotic dictator under threat (i.e. Stalen). The Turks can be generally, pretty naive in thinking the world revolves around Erdogan and he is all that important and dont see this world is run out of Tel Aviv, DC and Londong. Nut, I dont know either, these are just my thoughts on the subject.

re: abiotic oil
So oil is produced by geological processes, which means it is produced on geological timescales. Oil is presumably “produced by the Earth’s core”, but being lighter than nickel, iron, and even silicon, it will migrate over geological timescales to near or on the surface of the Earth, where it will be exposed to oxygen in the atmosphere and be reduced to carbon dioxide. Again over geological timescales, this process would result in the Earth having a carbon dioxide atmosphere, unless there were some process sequestering the carbon from the atmosphere.
Well, perhaps all that carbon from oil that is being produced on geological timescales could be sequestered in living organisms!
Let’s see, the Earth’s biosphere represents about 1.12 x 10^12 tons of carbon.
The Earth’s atmosphere has about 1.18 X 10^15 tons of oxygen.
We have problem. The Earth’s atmosphere has way, WAY more oxygen than can be accounted for by carbon being sequestered in living organisms. Are there any massive abiotic processes sequestering carbon and recycling it into the Earth’s crust?
Hmm, no, there are no such processes. The only processes sequestering carbon on a significant scale are biological ones. The quadrillions of tons of carbon that should be bound with Earth’s atmospheric oxygen by abiotic processes must therefore be sequestered in the form of the carcasses of dead and buried formerly living organisms.
Another way to describe biological sequestration of carbon is the biotic source of hydrocarbons (fossil fuels).
The very fact Earth has an oxygen rich atmosphere is very compelling evidence – overwhelming, I would say – that biotic sources of carbon in the Earth’s crust are vastly more significant than abiotic ones. After all, almost all of the carbon from abiotic sources that has ever been released into the Earth’s atmosphere over the billions of years the Earth has been around has been safely tucked away from the atmosphere by biological processes, otherwise no free oxygen.

Thanks. That’s good analytical thinking but the wrong approach under the circumstances. I have been limiting my interest to analysis of the seismic data. It don’t lie. Or does it?
A nuclear explosion is not an earthquake and I am wondering why something that has an epicenter Underground is the result of a explosion at the surface.
Unfortunately in the comparative data I’ve seen of prior earthquakes and explosions they don’t specify the depth of the epicenter. I believe in the Iranian case it was 10,000 M or more below ground which is obviously impossible (extremely improbable) for a ground test. Unless that is a side effect of the ground wave being distorted. I don’t have the expertise or a source.
Although it requires discussion, the arguments I am seeing are politically and strategically based rather than being based on scientific data. IE Measurement.

It would be useful to compare the tremor signals with those from North Koreas early nuke tests at Punggye Ri:
https://www.nti.org/education-center/facilities/punggye-ri-nuclear-test-facility/

2006 Nuclear Test
On 9 October 2006, North Korea’s KCNA reported that the country had “successfully conducted a nuclear test” at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Facility. 7 The test used a horizontal-shaft, and the shock is estimated to be magnitude 4.3. 8 The U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) estimated the yield at less than one kiloton. 9 The test took place in the East Tunnel approximately 1 km NE from the entrance. The overburden is estimated at 310 m. 10
2009 Nuclear Test
North Korea tested a second nuclear device at the Punggye-ri facility on 25 May 2009. 11 The U.S. Geological Survey estimated the seismic activity generated from the test at a magnitude of 4.7. 12 This time no noble gases were detected from the explosion, meaning scientists could not definitely say whether the explosion used plutonium or highly enriched uranium (HEU). 13 The test is estimated at about 4-6 kilotons, and was detonated in the West Tunnel at about 1.2 km NW from the tunnel entrance. The overburden is estimated at 490 m. 14
2013 Nuclear Test
On 12 February 2013, North Korea conducted a third nuclear test at the Punggye-ri facility.15 This test was recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey as 5.1 on the Richter scale. 16 Xenon-131m and Xe-133 were detected at CTBTO’s radionuclide detection stations in Japan and Russia 55 days after the explosion, but were too degraded by the time it was detected to indicate whether the device had used plutonium or HEU. 17
2016 January Nuclear Test
On 6 January 2016, North Korea conducted its fourth nuclear test at the Punggye-ri facility. 18 This test was recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey as a 5.1 on the Richter scale, about the same magnitude as the 2013 nuclear test. 19 North Korea claimed that this was a hydrogen bomb test, which if true would mark a major advancement of its nuclear program. 20 However, experts were skeptical given that the earthquake caused by the test was approximately the same magnitude as the previous test. 21
2016 September Nuclear Test
On 9 September 2016, North Korea conducted its fifth nuclear test at the Punggye-ri facility. 22 The test was recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey as a 5.3 on the Richter scale making it more powerful than any previous North Korea test. 23 Estimates of the test yield placed it between 20 and 30 kilotons. 24
2017 Nuclear Test
On 2 September 2017, North Korea conducted its sixth nuclear test at the Punggye-ri facility. 25 The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the test as a 6.3 on the Richter Scale, making it the largest North Korean test to date by far. 26 North Korea claimed that the bomb tested was a two-stage thermonuclear device, claims which many experts consider credible. 27 The USGS has recorded numerous seismic events in the months following the test, thought to be aftershocks from the test event. 28

Not that cut ‘n dried. Not always easy for experts to tell.

Gruff thats some strong work brother. Canuck and jane and sean do not understand biochemistry. Canuck posts ‘proof’ of supposedly scientific literature the devilish details of which are self defeating. Notice that all of the molecules mentioned in the papers are ethane, alkanes and methane. Abiotic HYDROCARBONS absolutely DO exist but they are short chain, low energy density hydrocarbons with 1-4 carbon atoms in them. Gasoline, OTOH, requires long chain biological hydrocarbons (crude oil) of 8-10 carbon atoms per molecule. Diesel requires heavy crudes with 10-20 carbon atoms. Abiotic people are the other flat earthers. They deny the power of anaerobic biological decomposition. We can light our biotic farts if we choose to for chrissakes. An irishman over the course of a single lifetime can watch several feet deep of peat grow from anaerobib decomposition which has 6 carbon atoms per molecule.

“Again, Zionism has fuck all to do with the colonialist practices of the old British empire or those of the US well before the advent of this ideology.” Constantine

This could only have been written by someone ignorant of HONEST history or by someone intent on deceiving us. Organized jewry, in which Zionists play their revitalized role only since the mid 1800’s, have had the USA in their sights long before it was the USA.
Who controlled the slave trade, for example? The jewish collective did.
I could create a list as long as my arm of the countless times jews have murdered their political opponents in all the places they have infected with their pernicious presence, In fact, they’ve been bragging about it in their delusional and frankly psychotic screeds for over 3000 years.
You need to pay closer attention, Constantine. Zionists are just jews, but without a soft filter supplied by their control of OUR media attached to the lens’ we view them through.

Most of those Zionists were not in Germany. On the other hand, those in Israel are fully responsible for the transformation of the country into a version of the Thrid Reich. Jane is pretty much correct.
One could add the culpability of those in the west who empowered Israeli criminality by unconditionally supporting that state as an extension of their own empire.

So predictable (and so predictably snarky)!
The Germans did not promise a Jewish state in Palestine.
They were in no position to do so. LOL.
Note that the OP said “COMMON Jews of Berlin.”
I don’t know why the OP emphasized Berlin.
I took it to stand for Germany.
“Common Jewish Germans” were not Zionists.
There were just 150,000 Jews in Berlin, ca. 450,000 in Germany, and very few of them were Zionists.
Zionism was not popular in Germany.
Nor elsewhere in western Europe.
European Jews did not want to go to Palestine.
Some “German Zionists” also were not German citizens but were “Zionists in Germany.” Many were born in Poland.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionistische_Vereinigung_f%C3%BCr_Deutschland
But of course there were some Zionists.
Nazi persecution of Jewish German citizens did create an opportunity for Zionists to make a deal that offered Jewish Germans an escape. Under duress people emigrated to Palestine. If they couldn’t find a sponsor and safe haven elsewhere.
“The Trust and Transfer Office Haavara Ltd., was established in Tel Aviv, following an agreement with the German government in August 1933, to facilitate the emigration of Jews to Palestine by allowing the transfer of their capital in the form of German export goods.”
According to a story in the Independent:
“The signatories were the Reich Ministry of Economics, the Zionistische Vereinigung für Deutschland (Zionist Federation of Germany) and the Anglo-Palestine Bank (then under the directive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine).” It really was not a good deal for the Jewish Germans. A primary goal of the Nazis was to steal Jews’ wealth. There were multiple ways to accomplish this end.
The Haavara Agreement in any event was a response to the growing persecution of Jews in Germany. Not the other way around.
As was the boycott of Jewish organizations outside Germany.
Those outside Germany started the boycott of German goods, etc. were naive in thinking that such pressure could influence the Nazi govt. They did not understand the program nor the political methods and aims of Hitler and the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. In fact, the boycott most likely hurt Jewish Germans (Zionists in Germany didn’t support the boycott). The Haavara Agreement helped Hitler get rid of Jews the “soft” way, the “early solution to the Jewish Question” way: pressuring them to leave voluntarily. As opposed to the “final solution” (which was not mainly about German Jews).
Tschuess.

Honzo @340:
You should pay closer attention to the chemical equation. The process to form dissolved inorganic carbon does not free any oxygen; therefore, it has nothing to do with the free oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere.
I apologize for muddying the waters by dwelling too much on the sequestration. The emphasis should have been on the free oxygen in the atmosphere, and abiotic processes (dissolved inorganic carbon) that sequester carbon do not result in any free oxygen being released. The oxygen in the CO2 is sequestered along with the carbon. Spitballing it, there is over 700 times as much oxygen in the Earth’s atmosphere as can be accounted for by carbon in currently living organisms, and several orders of magnitude more free oxygen than can be accounted for by abiotic processes.
Furthermore, it is unclear how DIC can be converted to hydrocarbons like oil abiotically, while the process of converting biological carbon into long chain hydrocarbons is well understood.

Republicofscotland @351 re: “dark oxygen”
Fascinating stuff, but the volume of oxygen being produced through electrolysis by deep sea “natural batteries”, while locally important at the bottom of some trench, is minuscule relative to the volume in the Earth’s atmosphere… not really significant. This kind of oxygen source cannot even come close to the oxygen consumption from weathering and mineral oxidation.

Recently it was noted that Turkey sent 2 of its ships to supposedly pick up Israeli Turk citizens (?)… Turkey is still a bit of a wild card to me. Ajerbajani turned down Israel’s request to launch strike against Iran from their base. Turkey May have had something to do with that as well.
In addition, doubting Turkey is liking the UK coming back to Cyprus and implanting themselves again on what he thinks is his island. In addition, he’s getting pissed about another Syrian campaign and regime change effort he sees mounting again by all the hostilities against Syria of late, and doesn’t want anymore refugees, and isn’t going to go along with the ME blow out for Nuttyahoo, who he truly hates, but will do business with Israel.
So, Erdogan, if nothing else, is self serving, and he isn’t a Scholtz or Macron figure when it comes to USReal, so, he’s proven how double crossing he can be when the interest suits him, so we’ll see. The Orthodox Christians believe in some kind of ” mystery ,” through which powers of omnipotence and omniscience are somehow devolved to saints. Protestants Christians less so. Sufi Muslims more so.
The Jews have never believed this tripe, but the Nazis of Likud only believe in military power, same as the Islamists who follow and work for them.
Judaeo-Christianity refers to the continuity of the 10 commandments as a spiritual code of behaviour before and after prophet Messiah AS.
You are very wrong to mock it because neither the saint-worshippers nor the power-worshippers care a toss about the commandments of Allah.

I haven’t seen that anyone has posted this. It’s about a young journalist who reported from inside the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza. He was threatened with death by Israelis and they also threatened his family if he kept on reporting “lies” about Israel and what was happening in Gaza. Because he was worried about his family, he moved away from thier home. His last phone call was to a colleague.
“At 6am (03:00 GMT), he called me to send his last video. After a call that didn’t last more than a few seconds, he said, ‘There they are, there they are, it’s done,’ and hung up,” the colleague added.”
(What was it Jesus said right before he died? “It is finished,” is what I recall.)
Very targeted assassination on a 19-year-old. This happened 3 days ago.
————
Israeli forces have killed Palestinian journalist Hassan Hamad in an air strike on his home in northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp, days after the slain journalist said he was warned by an Israeli officer to stop filming in Gaza.
With the killing of the 19-year-old journalist, whose work appeared on Al Jazeera and other networks, the number of Palestinian journalists killed since the war began has risen to 175, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) says at least 128 journalists and media workers are among the more than 41,000 people killed since Israel launched the devastating war on Gaza in October 2023.
Colleagues and the Government’s Media Office in Gaza confirmed Hamad’s death, saying the journalist’s home was deliberately attacked to silence him after he received threats.
“Hassan Hamad, the journalist who did not live past the age of 20, resisted for a full year in his own way. He resisted by staying away from his family so they wouldn’t be targeted. He resisted when he struggled to find an internet signal, sitting for an hour or two on the rooftop just to send the videos that reach you in seconds,” a post on Hamad’s X account posted by his colleague said.
“At 6am (03:00 GMT), he called me to send his last video. After a call that didn’t last more than a few seconds, he said, ‘There they are, there they are, it’s done,’ and hung up,” the colleague added.
According to footage verified by Al Jazeera, Hamad’s body was found in pieces and had to be put into bags and boxes after the Israeli attack.
This is what remains of his body,” one of his colleagues shared in an Instagram post.
Hamad had been documenting Israel’s war in Gaza for more than a year and worked as a freelance TV reporter.
Palestinian journalist Maha Hussaini said that a few days before Hamad’s death, he had been threatened by an Israeli officer through a Whatsapp message and several calls, ordering him to stop filming in Gaza.
“‘Listen, If you continue spreading lies about Israel, we’ll come for you next and turn your family into […] This is your last warning’…” Hussaini posted on X, sharing the message Hamad had received.
The Israeli government has not yet commented on his death.
“Every time a journalist is killed, injured, arrested, or forced to go to exile, we lose fragments of the truth,” CPJ Program Director Carlos Martinez de la Serna said in a statement on Friday.
“Those responsible for these casualties face dual trials: one under international law and another before history’s unforgiving gaze,” he added.

Hudhud (drone) Episode 3 – Resistance Roundup – Day 369

(excerpts)!….Hezbollah’s latest video entitled ‘Hudhud episode three’ was released on Wednesday. The video shows various strategic sites in Haifa, asserting Hezbollah’s ability to strike them at will.
The images were captured by the Hudhud drone, which Hezbollah has been utilizing to photograph sensitive locations inside Israel.
The sites include the Ramat David military Airbase, various targets in the Haifa-Carmel area, the Kiryat Nahum industrial zone, the Haifa Oil refineries, the Kiryat Ata industrial zone and the Nesher factories for building materials.
Other military bases include the Mishar Base, a main communications hub between the Northern Command and the Israeli Ministry of War; the Mishmar HaCarmel Base, an air defense base responsible for protecting the Haifa area and its surroundings; the Kiryat Eliezer Base, the main air defense base responsible for protecting the Haifa area; the Stella Maris Basse, a strategic base for naval monitoring and surveillance along the northern coast.
Other sites include Iron Dome radars and platforms, along with commander rooms and soldier positions.
More sensitive targets are the University of Haifa, including a military communications hub located on the roof of the university building; the Grand Canyon shopping mall complex; the central tunnel junction in Mount Carmel, which is reportedly used as fortified hospitals during times of war; and finally the Bnei Zion Hospital….

I know Erdogan at one time didn’t even trust his finance minister & kept that in his control preview, and he’s terrible at dealing with the economic issues. He may have found more qualified advisors & gotten help, but let’s face it, what nation isn’t under the dagger of IMF and World Central Bankers. I just don’t think it entirely controls Erdogan like it does a lot of other nations. He has a lot of Ottoman Empire residue pride, and he should, as his heritage and place among Empires of Antiquity.
Anyways, I think becoming an energy transit hub is a great motivator for him in the West Asia SCO arena. Erdogan strikes me as someone who wants deals & to prosper, and would rather just be a neutral nation than get dragged into drama’s.

One can compare Hezbollah’s war with the ultimately successful IRA campaign in the mainland UK and the focus on economic targets.
In Ireland and the UK, attacking soldiers, civilians and military assets proved ineffective and eventually counterproductive, as it stiffened resistance and turned popular and donor opinion against the campaign.
It was the switch to economic warfare and inflicting costly damage with few civilian casualties in the relatively unguarded mainland that brought the British to the negotiating table.
Specifically, the 1993 Bishopsgate, 1996 Manchester and 1996 Docklands bombings targeted the city’s infrastructure and economy and caused significant damage and cost billions while causing few casualties. Most importantly, it brought the British to the negotiating table.

Erdogan is certainly a leader in the Islamic World, the religious side of Turkey, the Somalis, Pakistan, Qatar, Muslim Brotherhood view him that way. ErThat is a large number of people. He is also President of Turkey a country of over 80 million people which is over 90% Muslim. He was also set up to be the alternate power in the Suni world to Saudia Arabia by the U.S. when he was playing along in Syria. But, there are also Arab countries who don’t look at Turkey as authentically Muslim in the way they are and view Turks as the warriors in Islam rather than the intellectuals. Islam is vast and not a monolithic religion.
Perhaps not everyone vision of what a real leader looks like, but if we look on the world stage at the moment, outside of Russia and China, there isn’t a lot of competition.

No need to be concerned. The Emiratis are worthless as fighters.

It’s clear that the Shi’a of Iran, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen are the Warriors of Islam.
I suspect they have been seen that since the martyrdom of Hussein at Karbala, the fall of Alamut and of course, the founding of Hezbollah.
And now, certainly this is beyond doubt since the Iranian strikes on Tel Aviv.

Purchase of Israeli Bonds with U.S. Taxpayer Money Faces Court Challenge

…. four Palestinian Americans launched the most serious threat to Israel’s survival in the economic war that is under way in parallel.
On September 24 they filed an 89-page brief in a Florida state court to declare illegal US financing of Israel’s war against Palestine through the purchase of Israeli government bonds with American taxpayer money. Their target is $700 million worth of Israel bonds purchased by the Palm Beach County treasury of Florida on the order of a single man, the county’s chief financial officer Joseph Abruzzo.…….

The Zionists didn’t blow JFK or RFK away. The Zionists didn’t take out Abe Lincoln….

Funny you should think that. Look up Laurent Guyénot’s articles at Unz Review on Israel and the Jews killing JFK and RFK. And there is plenty of material to show that John Wilkes Booth was a Jew who survived into old age well taken care of in England by the Rothschilds. They had motive enough to kill Lincoln simply for the greenbacks, money freely issued by the state in its own name rather than borrowed from Jew bankers.

Netanyahu snitches on Blinken, says, “I told Anthony Blinken on Oct. 16, (2023) that my cabinet members did not want even an aspirin of aid getting into Gaza after what has happened.” Blinken has known for a year that Israel would be preventing humanitarian assistance into Gaza, but has been lying about this continually thus allowing Israel to starve Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Kamala Harris bragging about how much empathy she has while committing genocide perfectly encapsulates the absurdity, narcissism and hollowness of liberalism, as if feeling bad about about the fact you’re massacring children by the thousand is somehow praiseworthy

if Kamala is president, she will as she has vowed repeatedly over and over again, gleefully continue the ongoing Gaza genocide and mass rape of Palestinian babies, children, girls, boys, women and men (see https://x.com/zei_squirrel/status/1827034919064736234).
In fact, if she wins the election after having explicitly made that vow, she and establishment Democrats and their liberal media class hangers-on will only be further emboldened to double down on the genocide even more, and drop the second half of that sick grotesque genocide-laundering script, “ummm maybe they sort of deserve self-determination lol lmao btw remember they’re all sub-human rapists!!!”…….

Never again. Ersogan is bound by a promise to regain the Empire Turkey lost. He is , as an Islamist, an ally of Israel. But he appeals to his Muslim countrymen and women both as a Nationalist and as a Muslim.
The Nationalist part will do anythjbg for power. He wins elections because Islsm is Turkiye’s finest treasure.

The Guardian has an article up about the Israeli defense minister saying Israel will launch an attack on Iran that will be so unexpected “they will not understand what happened and how it happened.”
If that’s the case, Iran would be wise to attack Israel now and not wait to be attacked first.

This is exactly what happened to them during True Promise II operation on Oct.1.
Before Iranian ballistic missiles hit their targets, Zionist radar systems were knocked out, then the first wave of missiles hit Arrow II and Arrow III sites.
Recent assessments imply that those few successful interceptions, was all done by U.S. AD placed offshore.
Since then, part of Zionist radar systems has not been back in operation proven by the fact that several Hezbollah attacks did not generate public alert of incoming hits.
I believe as the conflict goes on, more “new technology” will be revealed on both sides.
There have been some “reports” in recent days by third party military analysts which claim that Moscow has provided “New Technology” to Tehran, I sort most of them in the “PR stunt” basket.
For instance Indian Punchline reports that Iran is now equipped with “Murmansk BM” systems. It’s really amazing when Iran has a set back no one point at Russia but by any successful Iranian operation, some people jump on it and present it as a power demonstration by Russia.

My apologies. As an older person who sometimes cannot sleep, especially with all we are thinking about, I have simply scrolled back to the last thread I see being conversed upon in b’s right side listings – that being this one. LoveDonbass, I then have scrolled up to the beginning of the page, where your post gives me an entry point. My ‘unable to sleep’ thought is simply this:
Rather than being closely related to faith and religion, what we are witnessing in Israel as a state in its crimes against Gaza and Lebanon more closely relates to what we saw happening in Rwanda when Clinton was president: one tribe of people armed with axes being persuaded to mindlessly and ferociously attack another, with bodies floating downstream the only sign of something seriously wrong in that country.
I really don’t know what has happened there since those atrocities came to light, but I remember that the same helplessness we see today (on a much smaller scale) was evidenced by our then honorable peacekeeping forces, and that somehow that terrible madness was eventually contained, or it petered out. Was it a lesson learned? Perhaps too brief a moment and too foreign to our modern sensabilities. That was the jungle, we thought; and we are different. Maybe.
This horror we face is like that, I think — more than it is an indictment of the religious differences we all have with one another. And somehow, old people like Biden in the US or the elderly (as young as the late 60’s can be so classed) statespersons, or oligarchs with an infirmity, are particularly susceptible to this kind of psychopathy. The instincts get muddled as we age; we feel we must ‘do something’ to make our mark. And with some, like me, that can channel fairly harmlessly into foolish posts like this one.
But if we elderly ‘do gooders’ have power, watch out for us. Be ready to take the reins out of our hands, in as kindly a manner as possible. One of the hasidim tales that Buber tells is a warning against the overly righteous. They go down to hell, yes, but that is not a lesson to them; they are beyond the ability to learn. They, all the way down, believe in their hearts that they have been sent there to save the others.

Interesting, but it won’t do anything about this: “they are taking active steps to remove $700 million from the Israeli war effort” as the bonds will be sold to someone else. Even if they are sold at a loss to Palm Beach County, they would not change that Israel already got its money.
Some of those bonds look like they are paying 9.6%? Pretty good deal. Also some of those bonds (2 year maturities) will likely have matured before the court gets around to doing anything, given how slow the courts generally take to act.

Re: Genocide Bonds
The Lawfare is apparently intended to stop future purchases of Genocide Bonds from more jurisdictions than just Palm Beach.
Similar to the IDF Atrocity TikToker arrested while on vacation a couple of weeks ago; Lawfare will be a steadily increasing instrument against the Genociders.
Since the International Community overwhelmingly determined last month that the Likud regime practices Apartheid and owes reparations for damages caused; Lawfare has lots of opportunity.
Imagine a lawsuit filed in Spain or Norway sueing Ron Lauder for supporting Genocide/Apartheid. The entire EU and most of the Free Workd would respect the judgement.

325 – Erdoğan’s crackdown afterwards was based on prepared lists of people to round up, which suggests a degree of foreknowledge and IMO tends towards the fake coup scenario. As to his behaviour appearing convincing, watching him do the populist thing, you would not think he has enriched himself and his family enormously while in office, though he has.

It is in a state court which has no jurisdiction outside of Florida. If similar lawsuits are filed in other states to do the same thing they might look to Florida for guidance or not.
The problem is that they only weak part of the County’s case is the 15%, which is higher concentration than seems reasonable to me.
Otherwise S&P rating for Israel was just lowered from A+ to A on October 1st. Fitch also rates Israel as A, downgraded from A+ in August. Thus the County will likely point to the S&P rating and the Fitch ratings. Plus Moody’s ratings means they think that the bonds now have moderate credit risk.
I did look at the credit default swaps and a year ago they were at 141, now 148. So not much change there. However, the CDS were at 3x of what they were in August 2023. It seems that would be a better thing to point at than Moody’s.
