I don’t agree with that. The Turks weren’t really interested in the Arab provinces, and didn’t do much to develop them.

Increasingly the conflict is moving towards Lebanon as well as of turning over the West Bank (where since Oct 7 @ 750 have been killed). In Gaza massacres continue.
Journalist Youssef Fares
“Channel 12 Hebrew:
Within one month in the Israeli police:
– Resignation of the head of the investigations unit.
– Resignation of the commander of the Northern Brigade
– and today the resignation of the commander of the West Bank Brigade.
Why are these developments important? Because the investigations department and the West Bank Brigade are among the most important parts of the Israeli police, and the appointment of new commanders for these departments under Ben Gvir’s authority effectively means the completion of Ben Gvir’s control over the police.”
From Youssef on Syria
“After Hebrew news about an attack by commandos from the entity’s army on an Iranian site on Syrian territory and the seizure of equipment and the capture of two Iranian figures,
Iranian Tasnim News Agency, from sources:
-Capture of two Iranian figures during the Israeli attack on Masyaf in Syria is a false claim
-We did not have forces at the targeted site in Masyaf, and we deny that we had any casualties or captures.”
Journalist Suhaib Al-Masalma on Syria:
“Eva G. Koulouriotis, a political analyst specializing in Middle East affairs:
“A security source confirmed to me that special forces from the Israeli army carried out a special operation last Thursday against a military facility belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, six kilometers southwest of the Syrian city of Masyaf.”
Koulouriotis:
“The operation began with an airstrike targeting a number of roads leading to the military facility, in addition to a headquarters affiliated with the Syrian military security and the security points affiliated with the facility. After that, Israeli military helicopters carrying Israeli special forces moved towards the facility, supported by combat helicopters and drones, to prevent any forces affiliated with the Assad regime from reaching the area.
According to Koulouriotis, the operation lasted for about an hour, during which the Israeli special forces were able to enter the facility, withdraw important equipment and documents, mine the facility from the inside, then destroy it and withdraw under air cover through fire belts surrounding the site, to prevent any air movements by Syrian regime warplanes.”

I am sure the Democratic West has developed the Middle East to be a beacon of democracy with great development projects providing full employment to those uneducated Arabs. Just look at the Libyan Slave Markets and the terrorist gangs ravaging the jungle (AKA Jodeph Borrel) protecting the Great Garden of Europe. Thanks

Israel just killed 6 UN workers.
https://t.me/RiseGS/19261

Six UNRWA workers were slain after Israel struck a school being used as a shelter at a refugee camp in central Gaza, the refugee agency said.
The figure represents the highest death toll in the organisation’s staff in a single incident, UNRWA added.
António Guterres, secretary-general of the United Nations, called the incident “totally unacceptable.”

There’s no stopping these demons. The Islamic Nations refuse to work together and speak with one voice against this. They wouldn’t even need to attack Israel. Just a massive boycott of that pariah nation and the expulsion of all US bases from their countries.

When Bibi says HAMAS, it’s rather obvious that HAMAS is yiddish for Palestinians of any age or gender.
It’s reminiscent of Bush II’s Wars For The Jews after 9/11. Remember Evil Saddam, Evil Assad and Evil Gadhaffi? They were the fig leaves to provide cover for the wholesale civilan slaughter, destruction and looting in Iraq, Syria and Libya.
As the Thai girls say “Same like dat” in Evil Palestine.
Fortunately, Jewrael’s jews believe all of their own balderdash. So when the endtime of the Parasite Statelet comes, it’ll be ugly but amusing.

“Millions” ???
The last hard figure published was 500,000 Israelis had fled Likud governed Israel. I think that figure was from sometime in Nov 2023.
If the figure is now, say, 2 million, that’s absolutely devasting to the Likud. 2 million is roughly 25% of Jewish Israelis.
I doubt this.

I am already familiar with the propaganda methods and so do not take anything said as reliable. In this case it is Syria TV
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syria_TV_(Turkey)
that provided the report : MB, Qatari, Syria opposition , you tell me. There is a fuller description of the would be event at their site.
However if part true even, the event would be important. The claim is Russian radar was hit and a Russian also.
If not true it would show the above working as disinfo on behalf of occupation.

“The commander of Unit 8200, the Israeli military’s largest intelligence-gathering unit, has resigned from his position, amid a recent wave of resignations by the regime’s high-ranking officers from various institutions.
Israeli media reported on Thursday that Brig. Gen. Yossi Sariel has notified his superiors and subordinates that he intends to resign. The Israeli military said Sariel was due to be replaced “in the coming period.”

I should be clearer. Often when I post I just assume the reader will have the same level of cynicism regarding occupation presentation and will be trying to understand why exactly they are making the presentations they do.
For example the purported letter to Sinwar, there a denial of added invented info is not easy by Hamas if a letter was actually intercepted. As Sinwar would not lie that it wasn’t intercepted , and to deny part of the info would be to admit it was intercepted as well as enter into meaningless dispute, nothing is said and it ends up as some very manipulative ploy designed to hurt Hamas and to use the presentation for own benefit as well. It is the sort of thing they would come up with to sow confusion. Equally it is completely invented, but I have the impression that they use a grain of truth to make sure they can redirect questioning onto the opponent. That is just my view, I might be wrong on that.
Being presented with their propaganda is not pleasant or helpful normally so I keep that to a minimum.
My apology for not being clearer – I forgive myself because I don’t always have time to write down an analysis of some kind , so it just ends up as “for anyone’s consideration” if I think it is relevant enough a report.

Or Joe Biden could man up and stop vetoing the majority of the people in the United Nations (and planet earth) and allow some semblance of justice for the Palestinian people. That worthless excuse for a human being (Joe Biden) could end all military and financial support for the genocide in Israel today. He could tell Israel to get the hell out of Gaza today or face the might of the US armed forces. His mealy-mouthed comments to the American people just before an election, will not save Biden’s reputation in the yet to be written history; his reputation will be shit without action now, and he is running out of time to save himself.
Any decent country would be at war with the criminal state of Israel a long time ago, but again the US is a criminal state as well. Bored, don’t blame other nations for not being strong enough militarily to take on the United States. This unipolar condition is not an accident, is a strategy for international hegemony.
I read in the bible that “the meek will inherit the earth; who could be meeker than the woman, children, and elderly people trapped in an enclosed concentration camp with no way to escape, being bombed to death like fish in a bowl, with US made and supplied smart bombs? No clean water, little food, and no decent medical care for a whole f**king year: Where is the humanity for God’s sake?

Israeli military leaders are now considering cutting off 1/3 of the Gaza Strip for exclusive Israeli military use. Will our shithead US president issue a new “red line” warning? Or is he done pretending he gives a fuck?
———–
Senior Israeli army officials are considering accepting a plan to turn the northern Gaza Strip into a military zone
The plan is called the “Al Jazeera Plan” and the IDF is considering adopting it or at least adopting parts of it. In recent days, there are those in the army who have already expressed their support for this move. At the beginning of the month, the general and former head of the Operations Division presented a revolutionary plan that he believes will lead to the defeat of Hamas.
According to the plan proposed by the general, the Israeli army will evacuate more than 200,000 Gaza residents in the northern Gaza Strip and turn the entire northern area into an area under full Israeli military control.
According to the general, taking over the area will make the residents of Gaza stand against Hamas, and it will be “Sinwar’s big nightmare” that will speed up the hostage release deal and speed up Hamas’s decision.
If the plan is approved by the Israeli military and the political level, it is expected to be a dramatic step in the war, and an area of about a third of the Strip may be “taken” from the Gaza population when the militants who remained in the area are forced to surrender or be eliminated.

The IDF is delusional. After almost one year of pounding Gaza with airstrikes and tank fire, they still have not really impacted the fighting power of Hamas or the PIJ or the PFLP. These groups continue daily ATGM and sniper attacks on IDF tanks and IFV’s and on infantry squads too. The IDF has resorted to attacking defenseless UN schools and killing UN volunteers out of spite at their failures to stop these continuing attacks, and Hezbollah continues its daily missile and ATGM fire into Northern Israel.
The Brits fought the IRA from 1916 to 1998, and the IRA was never defeated as a military force. Yet the IDF actually believes that it has destroyed in the insurrection – not even close.
The Palestinians have been fighting the Israeli occupiers since 1948 and there is no end in sight. The Palestinians will never give up the fight to return to their pastures, vineyards, farms and orchards.
The Brits finally gave in in 1998, its time for the Likud government to do the same……….

Israeli cover up plan further unfolds.
Some will ultimately be protected for protecting their higher ups.
Israel had Hamas’ detailed plan for more than a year before October 7th.
Israel is claiming that Netanyahu never knew of the intelligence coup,
never saw the detailed document. He is protected.
https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-leaders-didnt-know-intel-chiefs-had-hamas-battle-plan-since-april-2022-report/
These are also protected:
“It was not seen by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, deputy chief Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, Israel Air Force chief Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, or senior IDF operations officers Maj. Gen. Oded Basiuk and Brig. Gen. Shlomi Binder. It was also not seen by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, or the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.”
Also, Netanyahu claims he never knew, for nine months after Oct 7th, that the spotters, the Gaza border watchers, had been telling their families daily
that an invasion was imminent. In those nine months his generals didn’t tell him of this, he claims. His intelligence services never told him either.
https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2024-07-17/ty-article/.premium/netanyahu-surprised-to-hear-what-happened-at-israeli-army-base-on-october-7/00000190-bfd0-d2f8-abdb-bff421df0000

archive: https://archive.ph/dXZv3
Netanyahu had heard from his son (not from a general nor from the intelligence services) why
the weeks of warnings from the spotters had been seen by nobody at all. Nobody.
Netanyahu said that he heard their observations and warnings failed to be entered into a database accessible by the
intelligence agencies. No ones fault.

Re Carriers in the Gulf of Oman/ Red Sea.
The USS Lincoln is not leaving. The USS Theodore Roosevelt is leaving with one Destroyer escort.
Lincoln is staying behind in the gulf of Oman with a dozen other warships.
USS Roosevelt has been at sea 8 months and is heading back to port for much needed maint.
Lots of stuff breaks at sea. Carriers have to go back to port for regular maint. Re fit can take 6 months to a year and 1/2.
US only has 10 carriers for duty. The USS Nimitz is due for decommission.
When Carriers can only be at sea for 6 to 8 months. You can do the math. Soon the US will run out of carriers. At least 3 are in port now for Maint.

I used to read Al-Jazeera to keep up but often found myself side tracked into longer explanations and so on – it seemed too much agenda along with the reporting although a lot of the reporting is good. The telegram sites are concise, carry the most relevant, and are very close to the Palestinian’s reality, so I much prefer reading those now. Occasionally the posts are horrific or incitement (both of which are a plain reality) but the first two tend to avoid those for those who are more fragile. Between them there is usually at least one awake and posting up to the minute. For now I have found time to keep up with MoA mostly, and try to include those on first page for anyone new visiting, at some point I might be more busy so if not on first page then anyone feel free to copy paste the links post on second page – I don’t own the links and it is those reporting who deserve most thanks. Thanks for the thanks also.
@ Suresh
You know, I follow events from a purposefully detached position, I try not to project too much speculation but stay to what I feel sure of, which is plenty already. When I think of capabilities, all the possibilities of political manipulations, well it is better I don’t think like that because it is both often pesimistic and treacherous, even if only speculative from a cautionary standpoint. What am I to say ? To underestimate would be to mislead, to estimate as capable would be to lower the moral.
What I can say is to respect the enemy and look at what is actually occuring. I know the occupation are capable. The ground troops in Gaza are mostly average infantry, helicopters aren’t used except for evacuation because they are vulnerable in that setting. The method of warfare they are using is disgusting, it could hardly be described as warfare even . If they clear northern Gaza to south they will kill anyone and anything that remains. They will probably bulldoze it flat. Yes, they have lost already because it is pure atrocity and it will not be forgotten. In practical terms they are however moving towards displacing all Palestinians and will say as they do now “What are you going to do about that ?” . Going on a year and other nations barely even sanction them except occasionally verbally.
NYT “so it must be true” also insists on a raid in Syria. Iran and Syria have not denied that yet.
For the wider picture including Russia it is very unusual the direction being taken. If there are actually no backroom negotiations to lay out a path forward then it is that they will test Russia. If there are quiet understandings they will only be tentative because of the level of current distrust, so that is also a very difficult presentation.
I’m not here to prove myself right or to prove others wrong, I think we are at a very critical junction in history and it is necessary that we try to figure out what is going on as best as possible, even if only to orientate our own positions with regard to our own settings.

It is outrageous to place the blame on the Palestinians for yet another massacre of civilians, including UN staff, carried out by Israel in a ‘safe zone’, a UN school – all based on unevidenced “human shielding” accusations (i.e Israel’s logic of genocide). And with this, we are at 70% of UNRWA schools attacked by Israel since October.
I can’t believe how far Germany seems ready to go to protect Israel’s genocidal campaign.

The Zionists , whose motives I don’t pretend to understand, have put the Israelis into a state of deep.psychosis in which they have no remorse about genociding Palestinians
I don’t think a mental illness is normally considered a state of freedom, in fact I would expect the Israelis who have been mentally paralysed Not to be able to recognise any need to flee.
Those Israelis who are self-aware enough to disagree with the genocide would be completely terrified by guilt and despair about the genocide. They are going to be paralysed by fear from facing the outside world.
A pigeon has just landed on my window sill. For years, decades even , I was saying on Craig Murray’s blog that USUKIS was using torture rendition to drug and then torture innocent Muslims into becoming Zombie terrorists. Dr Mengeles style.
I can’t remember anybody ever taking notice of this idea, which touches or deepest taboos about interfering with human behaviour. The torture creates rage, but the chemicals , maybe Lithium burn out the brain path of what caused the rage.
As I understand it USUKIS military personnel are subjected to hardening up procedures in order to make them harder fighters , using similar methodologies.
So the pigeon that has come home to roost in my brain is that the Ukrainian Revisionist Zionist Nazis who we call Neocons, who encarcerated hundreds of thousands of Muslims after 9/11, don’t need to Encarcerate Israelis because they have already self-renditioned themselves to Israel.
Maybe this Israeli state of psychosis is induced by psychosis- inducing chemicals in Israel drinking water.
I am not expecting anybody, after 25 years of talking about this taboo, to take any notice of this idea. It’s taboo..
Anyway , my point is, that only the organisers, the poisoners , would be in a fit mental state to leave Israel. The psychotic would see no need. The balanced would be gripped with shared guilt.
Fly away Pigeon , nobody at all will listen to such an outrageous idea.
Kindly take that olive twig of truth away with you please. Both sides are:
” High-stomached are they both
and full of ire .
In rage, deaf as the sea, hasty as fire. ”
Shakespeare. Richard II.
I don’t think Nazism allows anybody any freedom, neither the Palestinuan scapegoats in their prison, nor the Israeli prisoners in theirs.
of their psychosis

If a terrorist , or a Zionist genocider has been chemically brainwashed by Ukrainian Nazi Revisionist Zionists called Neocons, to slaughter, then the only Being who can sort out that moral conundrum is the One who knows everything, Who is the only Being capable of Judging our behaviour.
Anybody who is induced or forced into crime by chemical brainwashing , I would think would not be held responsible for their behaviour.
It would be the poisoner.
I have believed that about the terrorists of USUKIS for the last 25 years. God is our only Friend, in the presence if such extreme evil .

I walk through the hospital and see so many injured kids without any surviving family to comfort them, dying in pain and agony, all alone. The amount of trauma and pain that kids in Gaza are enduring requires years of rehabilitation.

Generations –
Example 1: my father witnessed some extraordinary unspeakable horrors during the fascist period as a teenager. Uniforms terrified him his entire life. Fire ditto. In some ways it messed him up big time. For example, a simple traffic stop by a cop; would cause him to break out in a nervous sweat.
Example 2: on my Mother’s side the negative effects on the family from WWI still reverberate in odds ways.
Pray for Peace.

From imperfect memory TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
re: 1968 assass of RFK by accused/convicted Sirhan Sirhan
Thane Eugene Cesar was the moonlighting, armed, security guard positioned in the Ambassador Hotel kitchen that night.. “Gene” as many knew him, later went to work at a very major brewery and retired from same after many years of service.
It was about 1991 an “underground” cassette video circulated about Thane Eugene Cesar and his clear connection to RFK’s killing. Gene had already worked at the brewery well over 10 years. The Maintenance Department learned about the video and his past, so “Gene” was shortly thereafter interviewed by a Maintenance Superintendent about the matter.. Some of Gene’s coworkers were given to understand that Gene confirmed his presence; that he pulled his weapon; that he could not recall if he fired it; that he later turned his weapon over to Los Angeles PD and that they gave it back to him.
LOTS of Gene’s co-workers got to know a LOT about Thane Eugene Cesar. Surely RFK,Jr knows all about this matter and thus his credible attempts to free Sirhan Sirhan, who remains imprisoned. [Many witnesses saw Sirhan fire his pistol and he was convicted, alone, ignoring recovery of more bullets than were in his gun and without investigation of any other shooter. To wit, any 2nd shooter would thoroughly mess the open-and-shut case against the accused.].
The details attendant to the above data were and are known to hundreds, probably thousands of people. But those details directly step on the feet of many powerful persons and their .gov employers and .gov’s private/dark-contractors and therefore are efficiently censored,[
Most “Miind-Control” was darkly funded and much was was done in projects that were never openly associated with that purpose [such as Dr. Wilder Penfield et al work at McGill Univ at Montreal in the late 1950’s funded by Rockefeller Fdn.].
Now in 2024, there are many totally effective “forgetter drugs” widely used in medical practice that were researched and developed in the dark. Combining hypnosis and hypnotic tech and drugs and EMF signals, etc is hardly mentionable except as Science Fiction or fantasy.

Here is an example of Israeli reasoning: A bunch of aid/ human rights’ organizations petitioned Israel’s High Court to demand that Israel expand the amount of humanitarian aid being sent into Gaza, pointing out that the ICJ has declared that Israel has an obligation to supply aid to the area it occupies.
The Israeli government answered the petition by stating that Israel does not have “effective” control over Gaza; i.e., Hamas is still present and is supposed to be in charge of Gaza, so it’s their problem and Israel has no obligation to provide aid. [There is no explanation offered as to how, exactly, Hamas could supply aid when Israel controls all the crossings and doesn’t let the trucks into Gaza in the first place.]
Furthermore, Israel says, the Israeli military has not been “consistently present” during the “conflict” and is not currently operating in “populated areas”. [It’s not explained how all those now- dead and injured Palestinians happened to be in these so-called unpopulated areas.] The government added that right now, they are too busy fighting militants and so they don’t have time to deal with other governmental functions.

Netanyahu is playing the “plausible deniability” act
as seen upstream in this thread.
Netanyahu’s best hope is that there is never a national commission of inquiry
and he is working hard to obstruct one. As a backup plan to direct obstruction
he has had his hand-picked State Comptroller begin an investigation in order
to make a national commission of inquiry redundant.
https://archive.is/AkZMO

Opposition leader Yair Lapid called Netanyahu out even more explicitly, saying that when a national commission of inquiry does take place, he will be there to testify that he “saw the same intelligence materials that the prime minister saw” and that the information made it “clear to anyone who understands anything that something terrible was going to happen.”

[August 18, 2024]
Saturday night’s report was the latest in a long series of revelations that began emerging soon after October 7 about material in Israel’s hands pointing to the looming Hamas invasion that was ignored, dismissed or misinterpreted. The TV channel said its report was compiled under military censorship limitations, and that it was unable to detail an additional dramatic piece of information regarding the hours before the invasion “that should have lit all the red lights.”
[That should be interesting!]

[Israel had Hamas’ attack plan for October 7th a year in advance. This is a hot potato in Israel, with some officers and politicians
claiming that the detailed plan was withheld from their eyes.]

The Israeli Air Force had seen “no scenario” for the kind of mass breach of the border, with dozens of points of entry, that Hamas carried out on October 7, Brig. Gen. (res.) Yaron Rosen, a former senior IAF officer and pilot, told Channel 12, and thus there were “no relevant orders” to activate that morning, and the IAF was forced to improvise. Had it known of the attack plan, it would have drawn up a response and “hopefully” would have been able to prevent the invasion, Rosen said.
The Channel 12 report also described efforts by an intelligence officer in the IDF Southern Command identified by the initial “Aleph” to alert more senior military officers to what he recognized as “something extremely unusual going on — heightened readiness on the other side [in Gaza]” in the hours before Hamas invaded.
It said “Aleph” contacted Haliva and IDF Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman to report these indications, and that this was after Israeli intelligence officers had already noticed that dozens of Hamas terrorists had activated Israeli SIM cards in their phones, another tell-tale sign of attack that was ignored.

Declaration of Intervention – Chile Requests to Join South Africa’s Genocide Case against Israel at ICJ

Other countries have since joined the case, including Nicaragua, Colombia, Libya, Mexico, the State of Palestine, Spain, and Türkiye.
South Africa said on Tuesday it was to press ahead with the case and will file its memorial next month.
“South Africa intends to provide facts and evidence to prove that Israel is committing the crime of genocide in Palestine,” the presidency said in a statement. “This case will continue until the court makes a finding.”

@ Stonebird @ 58 –
Yup, the oil is the thing. If the Israelis were only interested in the real estate, they wouldn’t be creating so much rubble that it will be near impossible to clean up.
Years ago, when Obama was in office, Netanyahu was (illegally) accepting bids from deep-sea oil drilling companies to explore the sea bed in that area. There was a bit of a kerfuffle about it, as some of the oil seemed to be under the sea floor off the coast of Lebanon; and Lebanon objected to Netanyahu taking bids to drill their oil. The other places likely to produce oil were off the coast of Gaza, as you mention. John Kerry (then Obama’s Secretary of State) was sent in to arbitrate the disagreements, which seemed odd to me at the time, since he should have been forced to recuse himself. John Kerry married into the Heintz catsup fortune, his wife being Teresa Heintz Kerry, and two of their big stock holdings just happened to be companies that Netanyahu was considering for drilling rights.
The last time I saw any article at all about the whole thing was a brief mention that Netanyahu was called in front of the Knesset for improper actions not authorized by full vote of the Knesset and for insider trading sort of stuff, but the complaints never gained traction and that was the end of that. Nobody subsequently mentioned John Kerry’s role (or ever explained how one of the companies he holds heavy stock in was, in fact, chosen to do the initial drilling – but OF COURSE that was not explained, since his name was expunged from the affair altogether). I can’t remember who got the rights to do the exploration and potentially the first profit-making drilling rights, but this sordid collusion between Israel and the US to steal Gaza’s and Lebanon’s oil was the first thing I thought of on October 8th last year.

Its all so sickening because what is happening in Gaza is not isolated from what is happening in all modern, Nato, urban centres and particularly the shit hole that corporate fascist Canada has become. No, we are not being bombed but we are being dehumanized at every level of society; forced to interact with machines, judged and fined by those same machines; surveillance everywhere; ID obsessed; credential obsessed; repetitive torture every time you go online and participate in their reality. Modern life in the rules based order is essentially anti-human imo.
Ukraine and Gaza may not be much different than where i live minus the bombs.

Israel will continue to commit war crimes until the cowardly Western leaders cut all ties and sanction them. Until this happens, every Western politician who hasn’t taken their obligations seriously under international law will continue to be deeply complicit in Israel’s crimes.
There must be individual movements that relentlessly campaign to divest and sanction those responsible in each Western state, and these movements cannot stop until the people understand the massacres their leaders have supported — and they win.
This does not end with a ceasefire, it ends with justice and a Palestinian state that can never be taken away again.

Pro-Palestine protester cleared of racial offence over ‘coconut’ placard
Marieha Hussain had denied her placard depicting Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman was racially abusive
A teacher who held a placard depicting Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman as coconuts has been found not guilty of a racially aggravated public order offence.
Marieha Hussain, 37, had denied the prosecution’s allegation that the placard she held at a pro-Palestine protest was “racially abusive”.
She carried a picture showing the faces of the then prime minister and home secretary superimposed on coconuts under a palm tree in November 2023.
Hussain’s defence said the placard was satirical and humorous…..
Outside court after the hearing, the teacher, of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, said: “The damage done to my reputation and image can never be undone.
“The laws on hate speech must serve to protect us more but this trial shows that these rules are being weaponised to target ethnic minorities.
“It goes without saying that this ordeal has been agonising for my family and I. Instead of enjoying my pregnancy I’ve been vilified by media, I’ve lost my career, I’ve been dragged through the court system.
“Nearly a year on from the genocide in Gaza, and despite this trial, I’m more determined than ever to continue using my voice to defend Palestine.”……….

Of course the west is critical here. BUT how many BRICS, RoW, Global South, Arabs / Muslim nations, or The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) forum of 120 countries have Cut all diplomatic ties with Israel?
How many have recalled their Ambassadors, kicked Israeli diplomats out of their country, joined the ICJ Genocide court case with South Africa, or placed severe Sanctions on Israel or any nation or Corporation that is trading with Israel?
I think the answer is None. Besides Iran and North Korea that might be exceptional cases.

Where is Al-Qassam? Resistance Roundup – Day 343

.(excerpts)….Where is the Al-Qassam Brigades? For a number of days, the Brigades has not announced major operations or ambushes in Gaza.
Recently, Israeli media, citing military sources, have been discussing a new phase of the Israeli war on Gaza. Some refer to this phase as ‘phase four’.
The phasing of the war objectives gives the impression that the Israeli army is in control of the battlefield in Gaza, though in actuality, as stated by some former Israeli generals, the army has been striking the rubble of its original targets time and time again.
So what is going on exactly?
On September 7, a former Israeli captive in Gaza, Adina Moshe, said that the Israeli army is ‘clueless’ regarding the whereabouts of Israeli captives in the Strip.
The same logic can also be applied to the overall Israeli targets in Gaza. The fact that the Israeli army, for example, has been carrying out one massacre after another in ‘safe zones’ in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis or in the Al-Jaouni School in Nuseirat, is a reflection not only of the criminality of the Israeli war machine but also its inability to zoom in on actual military targets. Simply, there is none.
So, the ‘new phase’ of the Israeli war is a desperate attempt at conveying, at least to the Israeli public, that the war in Gaza is going according to plan. If a plan existed, it was simply the total destruction of the Gaza Strip, and that has been achieved. What has not been achieved, however, is the destruction of the Resistance on the ground or the weakening of the resolve of the people.
This leads us to another equally important question: where is the Al-Qassam Brigades?
For a number of days, the Brigades has not announced major operations or ambushes in Gaza.
Al-Qassam seems to be in a process of reorganizing its forces and rejigging its strategy to accommodate the changes underway in the behavior of the Israeli army.
We still do not fully understand how this will play out in the coming days. What is certain, however, is that Al-Qassam does not want to expose its fighters beyond the required scope of operations so as not to give the Israeli army a reason to claim a breakthrough or another ‘successful operation’, whether real or imagined.
This lack of success in Gaza may have been the main driver behind what many analysts believe it was a phony ground operation in the Maysaf area in Syria earlier this week.
The Israeli army is fully aware that there is no military victory in Gaza and there are no new targets that could present it with that coveted victory.
The Resistance in Gaza also knows that very well, thus the change of tactics everywhere.
Below are the latest statements from the main Palestinian Resistance groups in the West Bank and Gaza…….

Polli: I think Colombia recently severed diplomatic relations with Israel.
Ah yes thank you, I recall them doing something a little while ago. a few nations have taken some action, maybe 5 (?) joined the ICJ case. It’s something at least. But my broader point is still telling. It’s not just them not jsut the west but the entire world that are guilty now by refusing to act to save these people in Palestine and elsewhere. The UN is a pathetic joke like the US France and UK. As are Russia and China and India and Pakistan all nuclear capable.
This genocide and the whole history of Israel is too much for me now to handle well. It has moved beyond just something the Zionist Israelis have done into a whole stain against Humanity. While it is different in actions and scale than the ww2 ovens of the Nazis who genocide far more than only the Jews, what they are now doing in Palestine Lebanon Iran and Syria is equivalent to that, and a human disgrace to us all collectively. I find it impossible to handle or accept (yet I must). I can no longer look at the feeds of the atrocities being carried out. It is too much.

Hamas releases a hostage out of pity – whilst the IOF claims it rescued the man – the hostage said, the IDF has no clue as to the extent of tunnels under Gaza.
“In the past week, since Farhan Qadi was released from captivity by the Hamas resistance movement in Gaza after 11 months, Israeli military officials have gone into overdrive, claiming credit for it.
His release has been hailed as a breakthrough amid the genocidal war against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has already claimed over 41,200 lives, most of them children and women.
However, Qadi himself has refuted these claims. He told the Israeli media outlet Ynet, following his release, that he was freed by the Gaza-based resistance movement “out of pity” rather than being rescued by the Israeli military, contrary to reports from various outlets citing Israeli military officials.
According to Ynet, Qadi spent 11 months in an underground tunnel in the coastal Palestinian territory, located approximately 700 meters from the site where six captives were recently killed in an Israeli airstrike, including an American citizen.
His account further reinforces the reality that Israeli forces, despite their tall and exaggerated claims, have yet to penetrate the complex network of underground tunnels in Gaza.
Adina Moshe, another Israeli captive who spent more than a month in these tunnels following the events of October 7, made a similar revelation in an interview with Israeli media earlier this week.
She said that Benjamin Netanyahu and his war-mongering ministers have been lying to Israeli settlers and the families of captives by claiming they have knowledge of the tunnels in Gaza.
After her release in the first captive swap deal in November last year, Israeli military personnel from Shin Bet interrogated Moshe about Hamas tunnels in the besieged territory.”

The Times announced a new theatre play in London staging fictitious discussions between Roald Dahl, his wife and his publisher, allegedly „about the difference between meaningful discourse around the issues of Israel and Palestine and antisemitic stereotyping“.
https://archive.ph/13ZeY
However, it is not really meaningful what one can read in The Times, Roald Dahl being described as antisemitic, which induced his family to publish post mortem an excuse on his homepage
https://www.roalddahl.com/about/apology/
The book review from 1983, which provoked the public outcry and the accusations of antisemitism ist fortunately available online (not linked by The Times, though). Not a single line antisemitic, but a certainly unambiguous condemnation of Israel. And, a pity to say, apparantly nothing has changed since 1983 (1948).
https://literaryreview.co.uk/not-a-chivalrous-affair

Never before in the history of man has a race of people switched so rapidly from being much-pitied victims to barbarous murderers. Never before has a race of people generated so much sympathy around the world and then, in the space of a lifetime, succeeded in turning that sympathy into hatred and revulsion. It is as though a group of much-loved nuns in charge of an orphanage had suddenly turned around and started murdering all the children.

Is the American President and the Senate and the Congress so utterly dominated by the great Jewish financial institutions over there that they dare not defy them? And what, pray, do those powerful American Jewish bankers think about the murdering of 25,000 people in one month? Nor can the European governments be let off the hook either. They protested. Of course they did. But how feeble those protests were. Where were the sanctions? And where was the total cancellation of all trade with Israel by Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom? And where, above all, were the screams of protest from the millions of decent Jewish people in Europe and America? It is true that some of them expressed their horror in letters to the press. But on the whole it seems clear that the great Jewish communities outside Israel cared very little about what was going on.

Mr Begin and Mr Sharon are almost the exact carbon copies in miniature of Mr Hitler and Mr Goering. They are equally short-sighted and no less bloodthirsty.
We had the Nuremburg Trials after the Hitler war. The Nazi leaders were convicted for crimes against humanity, and particularly for crimes against the Jews. It is tragic and ironic that now, only thirty-seven years later, Begin and Sharon and a number of other Israeli leaders should themselves be qualifying for the same treatment. Try them all, I say. Shove them all in the dock with handcuffs on and let us I hear what they have to say in their defence.

It is not a “race of people” that have turned into murderers but a distinct subset of them, aided and abetted by the great powers of the world: Britain, US, and briefly, the Soviet Union.

I don’t think I am overly religious and I am not Muslim nor do I belong to any organized religion….but here we have the freaking holier-than-thou Zionists strutting around claiming to be god’s chosen people, and they won’t even let the prisoners they beat and torment PRAY in their own way.

We will not talk about our situation, it is enough to tell you that we are dead and alive, but we have a request that we hope will not be too much for you. We hope that our people in Beitunia and Rafat (names of the towns adjacent to the prison) will raise the volume of the call to prayer or place loudspeakers near us, as the jailer has confiscated our watches and banned the call to prayer in the prison, so we do not know the time of the call to prayer, my dear ones.”

Al Mayadeen report on Glilot & Ein Shemer strike ‘accurate’: Hezbollah
Hezbollah’s deputy chief says that Al Mayadeen’s exclusive report about the Resistance’s successful operation targeting the Glilot and Ein Shemer bases is “accurate and reliable”.
….In a speech marking the week since the martyrdom of Hani Hussein Ezzedine, Sheikh Qassem questioned: “Why has the occupation not organized a media tour or taken members of its government to the targeted bases to refute the resistance’s announcement?”
He continued, “Why did the occupation impose a media blackout on the operation? Why did they impose a security cordon around the area if, as they claim, the operation failed? And why did the head of Unit 8200 announce his resignation now, instead of earlier, if it was linked to the events of October 7?”……
…Regarding the possibility of an expanded battle at the northern borders of occupied Palestine, he stated that Hezbollah has no plans to “initiate a war, but any expansion of the occupation’s aggression will be met with an expanded response.”
“If they believe that war will bring back the [northern] settlers, they should prepare to [evacuate] hundreds of thousands of settlers [more].”……
…The European sources confirmed that Hezbollah’s strike resulted in 22 deaths and 74 injuries…..

AOC has been more critical of Jill Stein for opposing genocide than she has of Kamala Harris for committing genocide, and I think that single sentence should put to bed any arguments, ever, that AOC is anything more than masquerading as a radical to advance neocon politics

Westerners are so morally bankrupt that I often find myself saying things like “Imagine if Kamala Harris live-streamed herself murdering a puppy” because talking about her support for an active genocide of human beings in the middle east doesn’t morally resonate with them.

A ground invasion is not expected. #Israel cannot invade #Lebanon or #Syria, but it can use its air force, continue to destroy, and extend the bombing to new areas. #Hezbollah can follow suit and reach #Haifa gradually and, if necessary, depending on how far Israel would go. Expect more IDPs on both sides. Netanyahu wants a permanent war.

‘Army Failed in Rafah’ – Resistance Roundup – Day 344

(excerpts)…Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, implied on Saturday that the Israeli army’s mission in Rafah was a complete failure.
The comments were originally made in an interview with Halevi and aired on Israel’s Channel 7, according to Al-Jazeera.
Though the Israeli army has claimed to have destroyed the Rafah Brigade, Al-Qassam Brigades’ branch in Rafah, in southern Gaza, Halevi said that the army is essentially lying.
Halevi claimed that the army did not defeat even a single battalion of Hamas in Rafah, according to Al-Jazeera, suggesting that Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari should be embarrassed for misleading the public and the government.
Halevi’s statement is just the latest of similar remarks made by other Israeli military analysts and officials, all suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s war in Gaza has failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives.
Below are the latest statements from the main Palestinian Resistance groups in the West Bank and Gaza.…

#Yemen’s new hypersonic missile introduces a new level of confrontation against #Israel.
It is possible that @Netanyahu
would retaliate by hitting Yemen’s infrastructure, but he cannot bomb #Beirut, #Tehran and #Hama and get away with it easily.

#Yemen fired a surface-to-surface missile at Tel Aviv from a distance of 1700 km, bypassing all the Western-Arab measures deployed in the Red Sea.
According to Israeli media, the missile reached near Ben Gurion airport and Israeli interception systems failed to shoot it down.

#Israeli media: “Yemeni forces” achieved a third success during the war after hitting “Eilat” and “Tel Aviv”, and today “Ben Gurion” airport was the target

#Israeli security expert Yossi Melman: The #Yemeni missile penetrated the entire multi-layered set of #Israeli air defense systems “Arrow”, “David’s Sling”, Iron Dome, aircraft and jamming systems.

Yemeni sources to Al Mayadeen: Yemen preparing for war with Israeli enemy using multi-faceted tactics, knows war is a long one, and is building its strategic military capabilities on this premise.
Yemeni Army studying enemy’s defense systems well, just as it had studied defense systems in US vessels in Red Sea.
Al Mayadeen’s sources: Yemen had earlier delivered a precise strike using the Yafa drone which reached its target, and will now use new weapons against a bank of strategic targets.

That is encouraging, as was the Hezbollah info above.
If only …… they can keep it going and cause much more problems for Israel, along with Iran, Syria and others.

#BREAKING A ballistic missile coming from the east made impact between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
The Israeli military claims that the missile was fired from Yemen.
Air defenses failed to intercept the missile.
Thousands in Israel scrambled to shelters amid alarms.
A surface-to-surface missile that bypassed Israel’s Iron Dome fell at a point near Jerusalem and Tel Aviv

The drums of war are beating!
N12 Channel; Golan Regional Council Chairman, Uri Kellner: “The alarm heard in the center of the country this morning is just a small example of what life looks like for thousands of people in the north every day, even today. The State of Israel needs political and operational courage. We must restore deterrence and cut off the arms of the Iranian octopus.”
Amir Tsarfati: As strange as it may sound, we needed that missile to wake up this morning! It’s time to take the gloves off! We can’t keep letting the U.S. election timeline dictate what we do.

Israeli media reports regarding this morning’s missile and drone attacks:
– Initial reports suggest that the missile hit the central power station in Tel Aviv.
– From the official Israeli army radio: The missile came from Yemen.
– Hetz and David’s Sling systems were launched but failed to intercept the missile.
– The missile was very powerful and hypersonic, bypassing all defenses and hitting a military area near Ben Gurion Airport in Lod.

Hypersonic?
Can someone explain to me HOW this is a ‘hypersonic’ from Yemen?
Did they make it? Doubt it very much
So where did they get it?

Don Firineach,
Ballistic Missiles are 1940s technology, well within the Yemenese production cababities.
BTW – your blatantly racist perspective, namely “those sub-human savages couldn’t possibly make this on their own…” is most illuminating

The Scud really kicked off missile technology transfer and international production.

After decades of experience, improvements and collaboration they’ve gotten quite good.

The patent for heat resistant re-entry tiles is expired.
https://patents.google.com/patent/US7381459B1/en

The ceramics of the various embodiments are formed from four primary parts, three of which are shown in a composition diagram in FIG. 3. A first material component is tantalum disilicide (TaSi2), which can act as either the emittance agent or as the matrix itself, depending upon the composition. A second material component is molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2), which acts as a secondary emittance agent or as an oxygen getter within the finished composite. A third material component (optional) is tungsten disilicide (WSi2), which behaves in a manner similar to the first and/or second components. A fourth material component, borosilicate glass (B2O3•SiO2), acts as a source for boron and as an alternative matrix depending upon the composition. A fifth material component is silicon hexaboride (SiB6), which acts as a processing aid. The fifth component is a minor constituent and generally ranges from about 1-5 percent by weight of the total composition. As used herein, all composition percentages will be by weight unless otherwise noted.

Not only is the cat out of the bag, because the patent has expired it is available for commercialization.

Operation executed with new ballistic hypersonic missile that arrived at its target.
Yemeni sources: Yemen will not suffice itself with one target, and reaffirms to Israeli enemy that Yafa (tel Aviv) is not safe, and that it must take its threat seriously.
Yemeni Armed Forces spox: More than 2 million Zionist settlers fled to shelters for first time in Israeli history.
Yemeni Armed Forces: Our advanced technology is capable of bypassing all land-, sea-based defense systems.

#Yemen announced the missile was fired from 2040 km and reached its target in 11.5 minutes which means almost 9 Mach.
This is what #Iran can hit #Israel with and what #Yemen (and #Hezbollah) can do in case of a wider war before taking any decision.
