Chinese Wives, Foreign Husbands
My latest Substack post.
https://open.substack.com/pub/waltking/p/a-chinese-wife-a-foreign-husband
My first Substack posting, Four Chinese Women, was particularly well received because many people remarked that it told them facts about life in China which they did not know and were unlikely to learn from another source. After a deviation last week on the state of the UK I feel that it is time to try to repeat the feat. I am indebted to my wife at the outset for providing me with many of the facts I needed to write this post, and for which I am truly grateful.
This article first goes deeper into the ways women in China have historically been mistreated (and I suggest you sit down before venturing far into it!), and while post-1949 matters have continuously improved, nevertheless some women for various reasons have divorced their Chinese husbands and sought a better life with a foreigner.

I understand that the going wage in factories around Springfield has declined from $21 to $13/hour after the influx of Temporary Protected Status designated foreign workers. Rents have gone up, however, because the refugees receive housing assistance from the federal government. Evictions have been widespread as landlords chase the subsidy.
What is going to stop this? Not Trump, so what? Talk about a shithole country.

confirmation for our poster roger boyd who has been covering this thoroughly…
“And Volkswagen, nothing less than a national symbol and by far Germany’s biggest employer in the country’s vital yet badly declining car-making sector, has ended its job guarantee and is preparing the ground for plant closures and mass layoffs in Germany for the first time in the company’s history. It’s hard to convey what a psychological blow that is. As a German, let me put it like this: Imagine losing World War I and a football world championship at the same time. Exaggeration? Guilty as charged. But not by much.
We could prolong the painful litany of Berlin’s failures at home, but the gist should be clear already: Scholz’s profile as a German leader is that of a dourly resolute, unrelenting loser. Even his much touted “Zeitenwende” (‘epochal change’), that is, a policy of Russophobia and rearming, is stuck like a German truck somewhere west of Moscow in November 1941.”
Olaf Scholz has a sudden moment of clarity about Russia

US Budget Gap Reaches $1.9 Trillion as Fiscal Year Nears End
Debt interest costs exceed $1 trillion for the first time

(excerpt)…..The US federal budget deficit surged in August with one month to go until the end of the fiscal year as higher interest costs continued to weigh on the overall balance.
The $1.9 trillion gap for the 11 months through August was up 24% from the same period last year…..

Paywalled
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-09-12/us-budget-deficit-hits-1-9-trillion-as-fiscal-year-nears-end?srnd=homepage-europe&embedded-checkout=true
Note – Federal Revenues are under $5 trillion. Interest payments are more than 20% of revenues and rising steeply as old cheap debt gets rolled over into expensive higher interest debt
For 2025, estimated interest payments will be 30-35% of federal revenues 😡

‼️🇷🇺🏴‍☠️ President’s Response on the Potential Use of NATO Long-Range Weapons Against Russia
“This would mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European nations are at war with Russia. And if that is the case, considering the fundamental shift in the nature of this conflict, we will make the appropriate decisions based on the threats posed to us,” stated Vladimir Putin.

Posted by: Peter AU1 | Sep 12 2024 17:33 utc | 13

Dogon – nice article. The problem with his premise of fish sauce in the Lamborghini is that he acts like the Prez actually runs the govt … as we all know and as demonstrated by the obviously out of it Biden, the Prez is just for show and others run the Lamborghini behind the scenes.
So the real question is, you want a younger, female, Asian/African symbol or an old white male symbol to “lead” …

Posted by: Caliman | Sep 12 2024 17:35 utc | 14

Lavrov –
Kiev was allowed to use long-range weapons against Russia long ago:
We have no doubt that the decision to lift restrictions on the use of long-range weapons to attack the territory of the Russian Federation was taken long ago, and now they are trying to make it look prettier and more respectable in the public space. We understand perfectly well that the West has called this war against Russia an existential war. The goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on us, but once again, I would like to remind you that other great figures in the history of international relations, including Napoleon and Hitler, had the same goals, and it is not for nothing that many foreign politicians who remain reasonable periodically remind their more zealous colleagues that it is disastrous for them to forget these lessons of history.

@Norwegian – I’ve been at this Bar since just after the Skripal saga, just before the Syria “chemical attacks”, and I greatly appreciate and value your knowledge and insights on topics I find interesting, including Prehistory !
May I ask you about Prehistoric stuff – outside the Bar, by email – like between Homo Erectus and Ancient Greece ? I’ve been writing a story (fiction) which includes this period, but I’m not very knowledgeable. It’s definitely about understanding the roots of humanity, to better understand humanity.
if anyone else also wants to help, please feel free ! Like with insights, knowledge, and links to legit sources, especially.
I tried to do a recap of the climate changes from the last 500,000 years, and how it influenced human migration, all the while Natural Selection (contextual pressures and breeding) was forming Humanity.
I went out on a limb, speculating on their abilities and temperaments, their Human dimension, but I’m really only guessing.
Could you give it a look, n comment on what looks correct and what doesn’t and add your insights n knowledge, and point me in the right direction, regarding legit sources ?
I would be immensely grateful !
Thank you !

As you know the US Treasury has been issuing more short term notes these past two years than longer term bonds as they are anticipating rate cuts so as the short terms come off, the new rates will be lower thereby less cost to the Guv..
So I believe the Fed will aggressively cut rates which will cause more inflation, greater price for gold and more de -dollarization.
The US Guv. debt $35 trillion with a $2 trillion a year annual deficit is unpayable, everyone and his retarded dog knows it but yet nothing really happens-it will take a psychological trigger say, Houthis taking out a US aircraft carrier; Ukrainian army mutinies; Turkey gets out of NATO; BRICS go on the gold standard-there are many others-it just a matter of time.

When the taliban declared narcotic production contrary to Islam worldwide heroin production was reduced by 75%. Six months later the USA invaded. Heroin production returned to previous levels and increased every year.
Now the USA has withdrawn. Once again the taliban have ended poppy crops and opium production. Once again worldwide heroin production has been dramatically reduced. The difference is the “illicit” narcotics trade has largely become fentanyl not heroin.
IMO these events lend credence to the assertions that the world banks need the income generated by the narcotics trade to survive. The trillions this trade generate simply must end up in the banking system as a function of quantity.
IMO this raises a interesting question. IMO if China was to end fentanyl and precursor export the world financial system would once again approach contagion. The provision of these substances serve two purposes. The society of the USA is damaged. The world financial system is sustained.
IMO China has no interest in damaging the “financial system”. The globalist financial system will soon abandon the dollar and adopt a token that is digital and has no nation state affiliation. This separation of the world token from nation state status will be heralded as progress the abuse of the dollar for war and support of Israels genocide cited.
No one wants to get rid of the dollar more than the globalists. The financial system like the globalists has no loyalty to any nation state.
The transformation will certainly involve the ending of many western banks. Supply chains will crumble and their will be shortages. The solution will be presented to the problem and it will be advocated by Russia and China. A life preserver for a drowning world. A brave new world free from the imperialist dollar.
Why would a country so abuse a national currency? Why would a country go voluntarily into unheard of debt to propagate war that has no benefit to its inhabitants?
Moral and ethical principles aside these actions are clearly deleterious to national interest. At what point can it be considered that they are not accidental but intentional? That the consequences for these actions is well known and these consequences were desired?
Along these lines I would also consider the “accidental” leaving of large amounts of quite nice military equipment in Afghanistan. USA military equipment in the hands of a Sunni semi salafacist group on Irans border. How unusual.
Germany accepts their fate as punishment for their nationalistic wars and genocide. Kick them in the nuts some more. Blow up more energy infrastructure. They like it. The USA will be no different.
Genocide is truly understood as a abomination. Only countries desiring transformation practice it.
War and genocide of WW2 were the defining events that shaped our modern world. Their occurrence again now demonstrate a creation of blowback energy that will be used by the very same people desiring the transformation.
The USAs resources were largely consumed as a function of destroying nation states via debt that had relatively high levels of infra structure and standards of living. This resulted in the unpayable debt which serves the dual purpose of elimination of the dollar and its unregulated use by all nations as well as the cessation of the USAs high standard of living and consumption.
Why Iraq? Saddam had ended the war with Iran. Sunnis were openly marrying Shia in Iraq. Iraq while certainly not a poster child for secular societies was progressing by demonstrating ACTIONS that represented peace and prosperity. The cessation of war is a ACTION that creates peace and prosperity. Cultures that move toward respect for other religions traditions and cultures demonstrate ACTIONS that create peace and prosperity. Peace and prosperity is the enemy of the globalists. No conflict no fuel for transformation. The thug Hussain was demonstrating demonstrating peace and prosperity tendencies. No he wasnt singing kumbayah.
Iraq certainly had WMDs. UK France and USA gave Iraq both chemical and biological weapons during the Iran Iraq war when he was behaving like a good thug. Hmm arent those the same oh never mind. That had zero to do with Iraqs non continuance as a nation state. The debt created by the Iraq war worked nicely toward the end of USA as a nation state and the unregulated consumption by the world using the dollar also. Whats not to like?
Who comes out on top? China. Who would have figured? How can it be? No wars? Lots of manufacturing and productivity. How can that possibly create success? Bizarre.

Nobody needs talking points to know Jill Stein hasn’t won so much as a bingo game in the last decade and if you actually give a damn about people, you organize, build power and infrastructure, and win.

The Republicans have proudly been pro-Israel from the start, and the self-proclaimed human rights groups in the Democrats eventually take Israel when they come to a point where they are forced to take Israel or morality.
Oh pity…

Redacted, the YouTube show has been having on excellent guests on this whole week to explain to their huge audience of 2.5 million that the official story of 9/11 cannot possibly be true. I’m not the biggest fan of Redacted, as it often echoes rather inane right wing fear mongering, but it’s nice to see people revisiting this important event. After all the main protagonists are still alive: Cheney and Netanyahu. Very disappointed to see some of my favorite journalists like Glen Greenwald and the Greyzone still pushing the official narrative. Even this blog, which I greatly admire as a source of journalism and skepticism has never shown any interest in pealing back the layers of this catalyzing event. I actually looked at this comments sections expecting something about this topic today, yet nothing. It’s bizarre to me, because if people would have realized that the official story defies physics, gravity, believability, reality..etc we wouldn’t be where we’re at today. The Neo-cons would be in jail, so they could not have organized and carried out the coup/ war in Ukraine, and we certainly wouldn’t be aiding Israel in its genocide..etc.

I didn’t write anything this year because I was busy writing other things. Plus, I’ve written about 911 many times at MoA over the years. I matter-of-factly call it a false flag terrorist attack carried out by the Deep State that was prepped during Clinton’s last years to pave the way for the new Outlaw US Empire doctrine of Full Spectrum Domination which had been announced twice before 911–1996 and 1999–which I was aware of that the time. I worked with a small “truther” faction for several years which was enough to confirm my thesis.

Denk deals in the Facts, supported by genuine evidence Denk speaks the truth.
Scorpion is a snake oil salesman dealing in fraud, lies, distortions, unsupported ideological / religious conspiracy theories and western Government Propaganda, his own extreme uneducated ignorance and egotistical bigotry born of unearned wealth.
I’ll choose “classless” every day of the week. And twice on Sundays. More fool you, but ignorance is bliss. https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/logicalfallacies/Ad-Hoc-Rescue
Description: Very often we desperately want to be right and hold on to certain beliefs, despite any evidence presented to the contrary. As a result, we begin to make up excuses as to why our belief could still be true, and is still true, despite the fact that we have no real evidence for what we are making up.
Logical Form of Scorpion’s Disinformation on MoA across years – now being spread on X/Twitter too:
Claim X is true because of evidence Y.
Evidence Y is demonstrated not to be acceptable evidence.
Therefore, it must be guess Z then, even though there is no evidence for guess Z.

That Caitlin Johnstone piece about the “debate” was really good. I gotta post her fictional but essentially true account of it here:
If you missed the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, this was pretty much the tone of it:
Trump: She’s a communist. She’s literally a Marxist.
Harris: Actually Goldman Sachs loves me.
Trump: I saw her eat a cat. It was on the TV.
Harris: Dick Cheney loves me too.
Trump: She won’t kill any Palestinians at all.
Harris: I’ll kill way more Palestinians than he’ll kill.
Trump: I will kill the most Palestinians. I’ll kill more Palestinians than anyone.
Harris: You couldn’t kill even one Palestinian. You are weak.
Trump: I am not weak I am strong. I am the strongest.
Harris: You’re a weak little girl and you’ll let China win.
Trump: She’s gonna start a nuclear war with Russia.
Harris: I will invade Russia myself and I’ll kill Putin with my bare hands. I am the strongest and you are the weakest.
Trump: It’s not true. It’s not true.
Harris: I will also do the most fracking and drill the most oil. Many Republicans have said I’m the strongest.
Trump: No. No. She’s weak on immigration.
Harris: I kick immigrants in the balls for fun.
[commercial break]
https://caitlinjohnstone.com.au/2024/09/12/the-debate-was-two-assholes-bragging-about-what-murderous-empire-sluts-they-are/
One thing I don’t like about Caitlin Johnstone is she will never attack the massive financial sector which really runs things. She limits her attacks to the smaller and easier targets like industry. Never attacks finance, that’s a no-no. Just certain “dirty” industries that are unpopular with the Karens, like oil and coal and logging and mining. Sorta like Chris Hedges etc. A bit of a gatekeeper. Direct anger to the working people rather than towards the rentiers.

…….. As you know the US Treasury has been issuing more short term notes these past two years than longer term bonds as they are anticipating rate cuts so as the short terms come off, the new rates will be lower thereby less cost to the Guv..
So I believe the Fed will aggressively cut rates which will cause more inflation, greater price for gold and more de -dollarization…..,,,
Canuck – we are roughly in agreement. It’s going to be similar to 1985 (Plaza Accords) when the USD was devalued by ~50%. Similar, but way WAY more messy.
At some point even the Euros and Japanese are going to stop throughing good money after bad. Even the slightest reduction in Treasury purchases by the vassals will make it difficult to fund the wars.

Wisco, thank you for posting such a funny Caitlin Johnstone blog.
I will start looking for evidence of your criticism of her, but I do not recall such despite reading a vast number of her writings. Instead, I see someone whose central effort is to poke holes in MSM false narratives, something that must be achieved before any other revolution against oligarchy is possible.

The problem I have with Karens is that they make ideological enemies of the wrong people. They make enemies of the working class people in the easy “dirty industry” targets who literally enable their soft lifestyles. It’s essentially the old NIMBY argument.

Gold price has broken through its previous 2520 USD. Expect it to move much higher.
Russia and China have been ‘sluggish’ to reveal the true extent of their buying. And why would they? They accumulate more without causing a huge buying rush, and it’s possible what Russia recently reported of buying a massive amount means they already bought it a while ago.
Why gold? It forms 40% of the new BRICS currency ‘Unit’. The rest is formed based on participant currencies, according to their weighting. Gold is becoming the new main currency pair, replacing the US dollar in commodity trade. That is, directly convertible to commodities and products in the BRICS world. Russia already revealed they are selling oil for gold, which they convert to RMB.
So ECB and FED, go ahead, lower rates, add fuel to the fire in a declining demand environment for western FIAT.

Well, reasons are several. Don’t shoot the messenger.
Apparently there are a lot more paper future contracts (like over 100x more) than physical ounces. Same applies to silver even more extremely. The banks who sold those naked contracts are the fuel that is driving rallies as they lose control of price suppression.
The COMEX was designed to suppress commodity prices. The COMEX is being sidelined so repricing is occurring.
Another reason is massive papering over US and European debt. They will probably resort to massive printing again. CrossBorder Capital has a good explanation of liquidity effects.

It appears to be one answer to the unhealthiness that has continued to balloon since the Nixon shock.
At that time, the trade surpluses of Japan and Germany, industrialised countries that had recovered after the war, and the trade deficit of the USA were mutual problems.
It was inevitable it would eventually become unease about payment itself if the US’s solvency remained linked to its gold stockpiles.
For a while it did not seem like so bad idea, as it seemed to bring flexibility to the economy, allowing the currency to expand without the need for a gold backing.
But as long as the US and its military-industrial complex won’t stop stirring up the world with dollars that can be printed without a gold backing, it looks like China and Russia, those countries in Resistance against the Empire, are seriously trying to crush US purchasing power.
Too many bad things have been done by the West imperialism.
Dollars can be printed in any amount, but spilled gold cannot be restored by printing it on paper.
It makes irresponsible and carefree shopping difficult.
The more gold bullion is demanded instead of dollars, the less the US will be able to comfortably bribe or fund extremist.
Nuland’s cookies would not have been gold bars.

Harvest season here, I’d imagine it’d be the same in 404, and Russia.
Amazing how fast a few combines can clear thousands of acres in a day or two. Looks like a bumper crop this year but won’t know till the Farm Reports start rolling in. Normal yields are usually 55 bushels per acre, anything in the 80 range is bumper and I have heard of some farmers getting 110 bushels per acre, they say that’s retirement money.
So no famines on the horizon this year unless one is executed accidentally on purpose.

The Republican Party platform: Parentheses are my comments. https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/2024-republican-party-platform
SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION (most immigrants are workers, this is anti-worker, instead—union card is a green card”
CARRY OUT THE LARGEST DEPORTATION OPERATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY (calls for mass deaths on a new Trail of Tears)
END INFLATION, AND MAKE AMERICA AFFORDABLE AGAIN (cut social spending including Social Security, while budget busting on military spending)
MAKE AMERICA THE DOMINANT ENERGY PRODUCER IN THE WORLD, BY FAR! (bomb everybody else’s oil fields, conquer Venezuela?)
STOP OUTSOURCING, AND TURN THE UNITED STATES INTO A MANUFACTURING SUPERPOWER (union jobs are the good jobs, not simply “manufacturing”)
LARGE TAX CUTS FOR WORKERS, AND NO TAX ON TIPS! (the problem for most people is they are underpaid, not overtaxed…but most are underserved)
DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR BILL OF RIGHTS, AND OUR FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS, INCLUDING FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, AND THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS (freedom of the media for everybody who owns one and special privileges for churches)
PREVENT WORLD WAR THREE, RESTORE PEACE IN EUROPE AND IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND BUILD A GREAT IRON DOME MISSILE DEFENSE SHIELD OVER OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY — ALL MADE IN AMERICA (science fiction forever! Boondoggles for missile systems that won’t work as advertised!)
END THE WEAPONIZATION OF GOVERNMENT AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE (this seems a blatant lie, in context it means, Trump walks)
STOP THE MIGRANT CRIME EPIDEMIC, DEMOLISH THE FOREIGN DRUG CARTELS, CRUSH GANG VIOLENCE, AND LOCK UP VIOLENT OFFENDERS
REBUILD OUR CITIES, INCLUDING WASHINGTON DC, MAKING THEM SAFE, CLEAN, AND BEAUTIFUL AGAIN. (Republicans hate infrastructure spending, what can this mean?)
STRENGTHEN AND MODERNIZE OUR MILITARY, MAKING IT, WITHOUT QUESTION, THE STRONGEST AND MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD (War, war, war)
KEEP THE U.S. DOLLAR AS THE WORLD’S RESERVE CURRENCY (all in for imperialism!)
FIGHT FOR AND PROTECT SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE WITH NO CUTS, INCLUDING NO CHANGES TO THE RETIREMENT AGE (can you believe them?)
CANCEL THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE MANDATE AND CUT COSTLY AND BURDENSOME REGULATIONS (seat belts and air bags are costly and burdensome)
CUT FEDERAL FUNDING FOR ANY SCHOOL PUSHING CRITICAL RACE THEORY, RADICAL GENDER IDEOLOGY, AND OTHER INAPPROPRIATE RACIAL, SEXUAL, OR POLITICAL CONTENT ON OUR CHILDREN (nobody knows what critical race theory is outside some graduate schools; also not clear this is a real problem)
KEEP MEN OUT OF WOMEN’S SPORTS (and keep steroids out too? gag on a gnat, swallow a camel)
DEPORT PRO-HAMAS RADICALS AND MAKE OUR COLLEGE CAMPUSES SAFE AND PATRIOTIC AGAIN (genocide, genocide, genocide! Biden is too soft!)
SECURE OUR ELECTIONS, INCLUDING SAME DAY VOTING, VOTER IDENTIFICATION, PAPER BALLOTS, AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP (suppress voting till we win!)
UNITE OUR COUNTRY BY BRINGING IT TO NEW AND RECORD LEVELS OF SUCCESS (actually, sounds good until you remember “success” for the ruling class is not “success” for the rest of us)
There are probably no Democrats at MoA but if any, they are invited to do the same for their party.

Their agitprop was simple but deadly..

Most details have been scrubbed off the cyber space but you can still find bits and pieces , a glimpse of the abject horror…
Exhibit A

In one of the most notorious cases, the Brantas River apparently became clogged with dead bodies; “Usually the corpses were no longer recognizable as human. Headless. Stomachs torn open. To make sure they didn’t sink, the carcasses were deliberately tied to, or impaled on, bamboo stakes.” Bodies “were stacked together on rafts over which the PKI banner proudly flew.”

New Intel: Communist China providing automatic weapons to Antifa, Black Lives Matter… some stored in democrat-run government buildings including East End Complex Capitol building in Sacramento – Block 174
07/03/2020 / By Mike Adams
We have bombshell new intel to share with you today that connects some recent dots on the emerging violence (and civil war attempt) from Black Lives Matter, the militant terrorism wing of the Democrat party.
Summary of what you’ll find in this article:
Communist China is supplying full auto AR-15 “mods” to Black Lives Matter militants in America, and a shipment was recently interdicted by Customer and Border Protection (CBP).
California Gov. Newsom is involved in a trillion-dollar money laundering operation with communist China to keep him in power. He’s funneling taxpayer money to China, and they are laundering it and funneling money back to him. (See Los Angeles Times link below.)
Using the laundered money, Gov. Newsom is stockpiling automatic weapons, ammunition and gold in the underground storage complex at 1616 Capitol Ave. in Sacramento, the East End Complex building – block 174. (Sourced from a former employee who worked there.)
Gov. Newsom is plotting with China to have communist troops invade America (via California and other states) and to overrun and occupy the United States, turning it over to communist Chinese rule.
China’s EMP weapons, developed using technology stolen from the USA, are planned to be the first wave “Pearl Harbor” event that sets it all off. (Official report to the White House, see link below, or visit https://emptaskforce.us ).
Obama helped set up a civilian military force using Operation Fast and Furious gun smuggling to arm the narcos. (Full timeline link below.)
Those same narcos are now trained by communist Chinese military instructors and are prepared to invade America with the aid of heavy weapons. (DHS sources via Hodges, link below.)
The civil war America is facing won’t be lightly-armed “soy boys,” but rather heavily armed, full-auto wielding Black Lives Matter militants, Mexican narco gangs and communist Chinese troops operating under the protection of Gov. Newsom.
Hundreds of companies across corporate America are now directly funding or overtly supporting Black Lives Matter terrorists as part of this civil war effort to destroy America. See the full list of 269 companies here [link].

Comedy Break!

Laura Loomer, a Social-Media Instigator, Is Back at Trump’s Side
The former president’s decision to elevate Laura Loomer, a far-right activist known for racist and homophobic posts online, has stunned even some Trump allies.

Before Donald J. Trump traveled to Philadelphia for this week’s debate, he invited one of the internet’s most polarizing figures along for the ride.
Laura Loomer was backstage with the Trump entourage while Mr. Trump squared off against Vice President Kamala Harris. She was in the spin room with the former president immediately afterward. And the next day, she flew with him to New York City and Shanksville, Pa., to commemorate the anniversary of Sept. 11.
A far-right activist known for her endless stream of sexist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-Muslim and occasionally antisemitic social media posts and public stunts, Ms. Loomer has made a name for herself over the past decade …

This forum is read and/or participated in by intelligent individuals.
Intelligent individuals discriminate, to the extent of their ability, between noise and information.
Noise comes from specialized sources that do not need to know what is happening (it is not their job), because their operational task is to transmit and establish narratives. Those who create them, out of due caution and security, live in sealed information spaces.
A narrative is a story that may or may not correspond to the facts.
The facts, the physical events that may be occurring, rarely correspond to the publicized story because all the agents in conflict have an agenda, a purpose, which should not be transmitted.
Sun Tzu’s premise is that in any military conflict the first thing to find out is what the primary objectives are.
What are the basic objectives of the human being?
To be born, to grow, to love your partner, to reproduce, to see your children grow, to grow old with your old lady, to be with her when she has senile dementia and to die?
May be.
The human goal is to have continuity of consciousness.

However, regardless of their personalities and sincere convictions that they’re engaged in public service, the stark reality is that many OFAC employees spend their workdays carrying out the mass victimization of people who’ve done no harm to the United States or its citizens. The sheer speed of EV adoption in China (54% of sales in August were BEV and PHEV), and the related utter destruction of the Western car industries is quire astonishing. Instead of slowing down in 2024, EV sales growth is accelerating compared to 2023. By December of this year, EV sales will most probably have an over 60% market share in China – approaching 100% by the end of 2026.
This, together with the extension of Chinese sales into Asia, Australia, South America, Africa, the UK, and other none anti China tariffed markets, will cause utter devastation to the Western car manufacturers. This industry is a major base for the power of the Western nations, so such destruction in a 2 year period will have significant geopolitical implications (along with the severe hits the German machine tool and petrochemical industries will be taking).
I have decided to produce a quarterly update on this, with the first one providing a comprehensive baseline for future updates. The Ongoing Collapse of the Western Car Industry
A First Quarterly Report

Anyone looking only at the North American and European markets and thinking that EV growth is slowing down will be smacked in the face by the reality of the next couple of years.

New greenfield factories are more productive than old factories regardless of the thing it is that they are producing. It has little to do with the chosen powertrain of automobiles.
China is making inroads with their improved copies of the most produced motor vehicle of all time, the Honda Super Cub.
It is easy for people in the West to be confused about cars. Unlike trucks and agricultural equipment automobiles are luxury objects and not needful things.
China was wise to target the Western market with automobiles. Luxury is where the revenue is.

It concerns the parties involved in the production of the missiles.
The Storm Shadows were supplied by the UK, but they were developed jointly with France, with Italy also involved in their manufacturing.
The missile’s components are provided by the US, which means Washington may also have to approve changes to the conditions of their use.

Let this sink in, here at MOA, the last bastion of antiwar dissidents…
We’ve people claiming the right to incite genocide !
As the wag who commented during the Iraq shock n Awe
The bully would never understand the kind of pain they inflict on the row…until bombs starts dropping on their heads.

Yeah, well that does sum it up nicely. That is the poop to a T right there in that material he posted here.
Scorpion is no different than all those tarred with Arendt’s brush of the Banality of Evil
“To paraphrase Arendt, these people may be quite ordinary, but their deeds are monstrous. ”
Scorpion’s a Banal Monster in need of a Death Camp to run filled with communists and Chinese people. It is frightening how many people here cannot recognize it when his pathology and forked tongues are as plain as day. The comparison of Scorpion to someone like Adolf Eichmann is spot on.
“Me? What did I do? I’m innocent. I only shared some stuff at MoA. I never said I agreed with it. I do not believe in anything.”
And then continue to swallow it: “Poor Scorpion. Denk was a real meanie. I liked the Poop.”

“US gold spot close for the week: $2580.41
Is the dollar in trouble???
#OrangeManBad could put a cat among some pigeons by threatening to audit Fort Knox. Wonder if he will dare?”

Trump will have to bring back “Pussy galore” and Bond. All to get the better of “oddjob?”

I’ll see myself out.

It’s pathetic. A sad joke. Yet so many people believe this dumbed down shit. Many here included.
They add after your quoted list:
“When America is united, confident, and committed to our principles, it will never fail.”
Harris and the DEMS say the same thing. While half the country supports the other side. They are mad. All of them. A pox on all their houses. I hope they all rot in their own sick shit.

There is a problem. Price. The Chinese are building a small sized shopping/grocery car that can do 60mph in 5 seconds and has a range of about 210 miles. Built in a fully automated factory, they’re are making profit selling them for £9k. The BYD Seagull terrifies Detroit. As a side, the EV has killed Ford. They just aren’t quite aware they are dead yet
Here in the UK, the EV market is struggling. To the extent that dealers are not selling new ICE vehicles because government numbers. EV owners are moving back to old secondhand diesels. Tales of horror are circulating. Dead heater in your EV? That’s a new battery. Then there’s the terrifying depreciation, electric has gone through the roof and tax breaks are gone.
EVs in their current form will not last long. China is already moving towards alternatives for the lithium batteries, hydrogen I believe.
Finally, range. My wife and I went to Handa Island in Scotland to see Puffins and escape the Kings coronation. Over 3.5 days, we travelled approximately 1650 miles, this included over 600 miles in one sitting (10hrs, regular breaks not rushing). You cannot do that in an EV. It is impossible with current tech. For the record, I used 100 litres of fuel.
