Israel’s Pager Attack – A Sophisticated One-Times Shot With Little Effect

Yesterday's terrorist attack by Israel against Hizbullah in Lebanon was quite sophisticated.

Back in February Hizbullah had urged its affiliates to avoid smart-phones, which can be controlled by foreign intelligence services, and to instead use pagers to receive text messages and alarms when necessary.

Israel must have recognized that suggestion as a chance to infiltrate the supply chain for these communication tools.

It somehow managed to manipulate pager shipments to Lebanon some of which would be acquired by Hizbullah and its affiliates. Yesterday specific encoded messages were sent to the manipulated pagers. Some moments later they started to blow up. Eleven people were killed and some 4,000 were wounded.

Not all people killed or wounded were members of Hizbullah. Pagers are also used by emergency and volunteer services. Western media avoid to call this attack a terrorist operation. But just ask yourself how they would describe the attack if this had happened to the other side of the conflict.

Pagers are not an exclusive means of Hizbullah. The attack was indiscriminate. The explosions happened in many situations of daily life – during visits in shops (vid), in driving cars in the middle of traffic, near to bystanders including children.

The pagers were sold under the brand name of Gold Apollo, a Taiwanese company specialized in such devices. But, according to the company, the devices sold in Lebanon were manufactured under license by the Hungarian company BAC Consulting KFT.

Lowkey writes:

The CEO and founder of BAC is Cristiana Arcidiacono-Barsony, who describes herself as a strategic adviser in internal affairs with international experience in the Middle East.

According to her academic profile she studied at SOAS and LSE universities in London.

The above points to an MI-6 involvement in the affair.

Elijah Magnier reports (vid) that the delivery of the pagers had been held up for several months by customs in a Middle Eastern country. The time was allegedly used by Israeli services to dismantle the devices and to replace their original Lithium-Ion batteries with ones which included explosives and birdshot to create a maximum of damage. The electronics of the devices were manipulated to trigger delayed explosions after the pager received a certain coded message.

This very sophisticated operations must have cost millions and must have involved a quite large number of specialists.

It would have been ideal for Israel to trigger such a mayhem as part of a general attack on Hizbullah. It would have increased Hizbullah's time to implement its defense plans.

To trigger the attack outside of a large scale war context is a rather limp maneuver. Most of the wounded will soon recuperate and return to their duties.

Israeli officials claim that they triggered the operation because some Hizbullah members had found out about the explosives and would soon alarm their leadership. It was thus a 'use it or lose it' situation.

That though does not sound plausible to me. How would Israel know that Hizbullah members found out about it? If they had so why would they not immediately inform their command of the imminent danger?

It is more plausible that the Netanyahoo government used the attack as a means to silence it critics which demand an all out attack on Hizbullah. The Israeli military and Netanyahoo know that a war with Hizbullah would be theirs to lose.

Now they can say: "See, we are already doing something very very serious …"

But that wad has been blown for little effect. It was a one time shot. They chances to repeat such an operation are close to nil.

Tomorrow Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah will publicly offer more information about the incident and its possible consequences.

Good point, that is another international testing setup that confirms which ones are the groups of peoples that are ahead in intellectual endowment.
I have the 2022 PISA data here in one of my databases.
Israel is well down in the rankings as I pointed out earlier, and the best they perform at is at Reading, i.e. verbal abilities, and yet that rank is still mediocre, at number 30 of 82 nations.
The best in Math are all Asians, with 4 Chinese nations, plus Koreans and Japanese, as the best 6.
The best in Science are the same, but Estonia climbs to 5th position.
The dumb Jews are way down cann’t see them they’re so down 😀

Sure, sport. Expect Israel has been around for 75 years. The Jews back in their ancient homeland for 75 years. 8 MILLION of them. A modern day miracle, right? And wow, they even have atomic weapons of all shapes, sizes, and methods of delivery. Amazing stuff, really. Might be best to leave those crazy, low-IQ Jews be. Who knows what might happen if we don’t.
“Bollocks.
Your genocidal cult is like a bunch of revanchist South Korean Roman Catholics declaring that they are the true owners of Rome, moving into Italy, and setting about stealing everything and killing everyone there that argues about it.
Zionism is a deluded death cult that all of humanity could best do without, especially so for real Jewish people of the Levant…as rare as they are.”

Modern Israel has reached its sell by date.

Also the amount of explosive that can fit into a laptop battery. I’ve already been waiting for the day when israel bricks everyone’s computer in one go with one of the million pieces of parasitic code in the operating systems (or bios, or in the processor). Now we know that one minute later, when the user is trying to restart the computer, the explosive will go off.

It is starting to look very much like it was Qatar, the middle east country where the shipment of pagers was held in customs for some months. Apparently it was Qatar that order the pagers, likely because the countries that made them listed Hezbollah as a terrorist operation.

The Kazan meeting in October is probably one of the major reason the FUKU$ are trying to escalate now. The US and London oligarchy will lose big in the new monetary reset. All oil and other commodity producers are using Shanghai commodity exchange for trading, China is devaluing their currency forcing US and west to cut rates.
The goldilocks time of low cost inflation / higher monetary inflation in the west is turning into high cost inflation / high monetary inflation, pushing Main Street inflation much higher where it was during the last decade. This means poverty and weakening West. Plus China sanctioning critical minerals and commodities for western companies, Boeing being the latest example. Now we had the communication device saga, also with high potential of crippling western technology companies. Plus massive debt refinancing. Currency devaluation from increased liquidity and rate cuts.
So everything is in a headwind in the west. Hence escalation, per the theory of ‘use it or lose it’.

Zionism I believe simply mean the belief that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people. So that covers virtually al or all jews in Israel. Many or most jews outside Israel are also zionists.
Prior to 45 47 or so, only a minority, a very small minority were Zionists and although it has been around for a long time, prior to 1900, the number of Zionists were too small to be even termed a minority.
Because of that, judahism is now zionist judahism, and non zionist jews a small minority.

…And still no clear technical on the method/layout of the rigged devices ? Maybe I missed that but not finding it online either. It matters because if there is ability to detonate a battery explosively making full use of its available energy it should be made known. The explosions I have seen online are lesser and caused by applying very high (electrical) charge

The evidence based logic is simple:
1. There has never been an observed instance of a mobile phone battery (Lithium/LiPo/NiMh) exploding with the force sufficient to blow out a car window by casual placement. None, ever.
– Not by high frequency short circuiting
– Not by heating
– Not by high voltage through overcharging
Dataset: Literally billions of devices scattered around the planet.
2. However this is within the capability of a small amount of PETN. This has been observed for decades in cell phone bombs.
Occam’s Razor:
The mobile phones were compromised through supply chain infiltration with an explosive. This was possible and feasible due to the widespread control of the global supply chain by Western, Israeli-aligned powers.
It was triggered through the relatively easy mechanism of broadcast remote radio signal to a tuned trigger circuit and in some devices through a pager signal which activated a data trigger signal to the detonator circuit.

@exile 723

why not follow the Singapore model ? Singapore is a tiny state surrounded by hundreds of millions of Muslims, yet Singaporeans live in peace and security.

This is just not in the nature of Judaism. The operating system of Judaism is world domination, superiority, being chosen to rule over underlings – and Zionism is political Judaism on Steroids. This is literal, it’s all over the Bible and Talmud and today’s leading Rabbis say so frankly, be it in Israel or New York. It’s just not in their nature to be good neighbours on equal footing, they would give up the core of their identity. Listen to Rabbi Glatstein talk about Tikkun Olam on YouTube, he puts it bluntly.
The majority of Jews once were Anti-Zionists / Assimilationists, who in France, England and Germany were loyal to their nation and considered Judaism to be merely a religious confession. But Zionism, first considered a lunatic fringe extremism by most Jews, won by winning the First World War (they pulled the US into the war als UK ally and received Palestine as a reward) and now the Zionists represent ‘all Jews’. At least they think so.

Lithium batteries do not explode. the only time the can explode is when in a steel casing. Some clown linked one for me. It was a container size battery in a steel container. There was a mild blas when the pressure burst the container. Two people standing right beside it were extremely badly injured, severl standing further away had mild injuries as in some broken bones. Even a battery that size did not kill the people standing beside it virtually instantly, but a number died from a tiny pager.
The explosive in them also contained lead or steel shot which greatly increased injuries from the blast. Unexploded pagers have been inspected and the hidden explosives and shot found. Every other device that exploded the next day also had explosives to create the blast the devices created. Solar batteries. Extensively used in Lebanon due to constant power outages plus roof top solar. Businesses would have much larger batteries than homes.

Apparently the weapon has such a destructive force that it will completely destroy all western countries and their whole infrastructure and their nice cars and everything.
The Russians have a secret plan to move their whole country to the moon via a secret escalator they already built and are in the process of implementing that plan.

Yes, I mostly agree although there was substantial Zionist Jewish settlement of Mandatory Palestine starting in the early 20th century and peaking in the 1930’s-40’s. During this time all of the institutions of a functioning state were formed. Long before 1948. Now there is a substantial segment of the Israeli Jewish public that can be considered post-Zionist. These are the progressives and the degenerate woke. The main struggle for Israel and whether or not it will continue to exist in its current form is an internal battle between the progressive post-Zionists and the Land of Israel Zionists. That struggle will likely take a generation and a lot of war in between to sort itself out.
Sinwar, who knows how Israel works better than most Israelis, thought that Bibi’s government would cave and collapse under the internal and external pressures put on it over the past year. Except Bibn knows how to play the games. Now this is becoming an existential war where one side must win and one must lose. The big fight must happen. Whether now or 5-10 years from now. Even many Israelis don’t realize this yet but more do. The weak ones will run to America and Europe to seek better pastures. Russia faces a similar situation. They can’t lose, it’s existential for them.

Chinese peacekeeping force to Lebanon hosts cultural event
BEIRUT, Sept. 18 — Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, the 22nd Chinese Peacekeeping Construction Engineering Company to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) hosted the “China International Night” cultural event at the Chinese camp on Monday evening, local time. More than 100 guests, including peacekeepers from over 10 troop-contributing countries of the UNIFIL, Lebanese government forces, and military observers, attended the event.
“The Mid-Autumn Festival is a wonderful holiday, which is about family, affection, reunion, and blessings,” said Lieutenant Colonel He Lei from the Chinese peacekeeping construction engineer company. During the event, the Chinese peacekeeping troops displayed performances and cuisine with distinctive Chinese characteristics to showcase ancient Chinese culture to foreign counterparts.
It is reported that due to the current complex situation between Lebanon and Israel, the rapid response team and emergency assault team of the Chinese peacekeeping troops were fully armed and on standby to ensure rapid response and stable disposal in case of emergencies.

Not going to directly acknowledge the troll, but I gave lots of links, studies, pictures, videos of batteries exploding…
This one, when they were studying the release of toxic gasses.
“The explosion caused the NMC cell to be ejected from the sample holder and to emit abundant embers that streaked across the chamber”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9345575/
Larger than a cell phone battery, but firefighters remove the safety measures on bike batteries and explode them for training.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRPW8zN_c0E
big ones blow up even bigger.
“The force of the explosion blew Clare underneath the chain-link fence, and he came to rest 70 feet from the container door. Lopez was thrown violently into the fence, some 30 feet from the structure. Two other nearby firefighters were knocked unconscious, their breathing apparatus and helmets ripped away and strewn across the dusty ground.”
https://www.nfpa.org/news-blogs-and-articles/nfpa-journal/2021/07/26/ess
Not one I showed before, but when heated these ones were heated quickly they were quite energetic(the other types were not).
https://youtu.be/Qzt9RZ0FQyM?t=376
From those and other things, I’d concluded:
They just removed the safety devices, spend a few million(probably way less) and engineer/weaponize it to fail faster, and better ignite the explosive gasses and you’ve got a disguised, bomb.
Posted by: Rhymerez | Sep 18 2024 8:15 utc | 520 (in the last thread)
There were not explosives that were failed to be found, the elements in the battery themselves were amped up, weaponized to make bombs, and what was reported in a middle eastern paper linked previously. How I dunno, they are not going to pass out those details, but knowing how they work and the nature of the lithium batteries it was obvious that is what would have been done. Not shove some explosives(that would have been detected) into the case as was spread around.

741 – Probably a short-term shot in the arm for Israeli morale, but with longer-term consequences likely to be negative. For Israel possibly and certainly others. Pagers may no longer be allowed on airliners, and perhaps cellphones in general.
Wikipedia suggests the weaponisation may have been about to be discovered, so they were detonated early.

As clever and inventive as the trick with the manipulated pagers and walkie-talkies was, it has one thing in common with other clever and inventive tricks, such as the SWIFT exclusion of Russia, the freezing of Russian assets abroad or the Kursk intrusion: it’s a one-time joker! Once it’s done, it’s already used up because everyone can easily adapt to it in future.
With the pager trick, it was crucial to “infect” a large number of devices undetected. However, this is only possible if there is no suspicion to that effect. The explosive could be hidden so well in the circuit boards that it could not be detected without being destroyed. However, if the circuit boards are pulverized and then examined, for example, detection is very easy. Because the pager trick only makes sense if many devices from a large batch are “infected”, it is actually sufficient to take a large random sample, pulverize it and examine it. The chance of something slipping through the cracks is then – if enough devices are “infected” – very small. Or only high if only a few devices are affected; but then again, such an “infection” makes little sense. I suspect that random samples of various devices will soon simply be confiscated, pulverized and examined everywhere. Manipulations on a large scale would then be quickly exposed.

Quatar? Manufactured in Hungry deliverved via Qatar ? Cyprus would make more sense. Someone is covering their asses in this operation. This alleged third party country is a major embarrasemnt for both sides. Hezbollah know where their shipment was allegdly held and is quiet.
In the US is is standard procedure for the FBI to intercept electronic shipments from people of interest on the delivery route and inject special backdoors.
The whole customs excuse may be a diversion from what really happened. In todays day and age the lady in Hungry behind the alleged company manufacturing the pagers could be an AI creation. A troll without body.

Earthing of electrical and electronic systems is quite a complex subject.
Coming originally from a d.c battery background, most of the early stuff I dealt withwas floating with respect to earth. In fact, with d.c, earthing often just creates problems with cathodic corrosion.
There are strict definitions and classes of earthing depending on the individual installation in question, but they are basically divided into four groups:
– Protective earthing, for safety, and to ensure operation of protective devices,
– Equipotential bonding, to prevent voltage potential between conductive media,
– Functional earthing, required to create a fixed reference voltage for operation of devices, and,
– Lightning protection, to shunt induced voltages to earth.
It’s a fascinating industry to work in, and yes, there are some real cowboys out there even in fairly heavily regulated countries like Australia. Seen some crazy stuff in my time, and I have had a few big shocks from making the mistake of assuming that the last guy there wasn’t a cretin.

Netizens digged out an article published on July 27th, 2011 in a Taiwanese Magazine called “天下杂志” with the title “金阿波羅 用對講機 扣住FBI的心”金阿波羅 用對講機 扣住FBI的心(Gold Apollo Pagers/BB Call hold on FBI’s heart ).
In this article, it reported that:
– FBI bought Gold Apollo pagers which could send out orders to more than 10 of its staff at the same time when they are in action.
– Gold Apollo had 99% market share of Holland, 60% of USA, 70% of Australia. It’s one of the few manufacturers of Pagers. It’s the No. 1 pager provider in USA, No. 2 in Europe.
– Its customers were mostly from Intelligence Agency, Fire Fighting and Defence Dept.
– It did not have production site on mainland China.
According to this well known Taiwan talk-show TVBS Situation Room, the reason Gold Apollo did not set up manufacturing factory on mainland China could be due to its cooperation with US intelligence agencies.

In this video, an eagle-eyed netizen mentioned the pagers were imported in mid-April 2024, which corresponds to what Taiwanese Ministry of Economy initially said that these pagers were exported in “early this year”.
According to the official info On April 15, President Tsai Ing-wen met with a delegation from the Israeli Knesset (parliament) .
In remarks, President Tsai stated that bilateral interactions between Taiwan and Israel have recently been very close. …… President Tsai stated that she looks forward to Taiwan and Israel leveraging our industrial strengths and continuing to deepen our partnership, based on our shared values of freedom and democracy, to jointly build more resilient global supply chains. In their discussion, President Tsai expressed her sincere concern and sympathy to the delegation following the recent attack on Israel by Iran, and condemned the use of violence to undermine global peace and stability.

Posted by: lulu | Sep 19 2024 19:39 utc | 754

A long term effect of the pager attack based on intercepting and murderously weaponising commercial trade shipments, is that many countries will pay very close attention to their supply chains from now on, including all middle men, and strip out from those supply chains any countries or entities in any way connected with Israel. That includes Britain, complicit in this attack, and most of the genocide complicit west. A big boost to trade within Brics and resistance aligned countries. Lebanon will not import anything from Israel ever again.
Let’s see how this victory affects Israel’s balance of trade payments.

Contradictory Statements (video: 6’30 – 7’42)
TW Ministry replied journo question stating that the company (Gold Apollo) said that “ the exploded pagers were tampered after they were exported ” after it reviewed the photos;
Gold Apollo company statement and Hsu Ching-kuang, founder and president of Gold Apollo, said that these batch of pagers “are 100% not made by Gold Apollo but made overseas”.
It is clear neither the Ministry nor the company know where these pagers were actually made, or they have not adopted/found a unified official explanation.
Is Gold Apollo Lying? (video: 7’52 – 11’33)
The company denied that it produced the Gold Apollo Pager AR924, Mr. Hsu said to the media that pager AR924 is not its product. Then, why did it make the promo about 【Introduction】Gold Apollo Rugged Pager AR924【AR924】Rugged Pager【Gold Apollo】in 2023?
Because the company has boasted its exclusive ultrasonic-welded technology, i.e. its pagers could not be opened without leaving evidence of tampering, it is reasonable to suspect Pager AR924b were tampered during the assembly.

The netizen didn’t say where the assembly with ultrasonic welding occurred.
But basing on the info from the two Taiwanese bloggers’ video (linked in my post 758), we can be fairly certain the ultrasonic welding occurred in Taiwan, because Gold Apollo boasted it is “exclusive” technology and one of the company’s selling points is its products are made in Taiwan.
Its so-called licensee in Hungary is one-woman shop, obviously not capable to do such kind high tech work.

@vargas,
Most of the injured and a lot of the dead were civilians. If you think a few hundred or even 1500 Hezbollah injured makes a difference you do not understand Hezbollah, the Lebanese, or people fighting a thug State. The terrorist attack, the Pager Pogrom, might have taken out between a few hundred and max 2000 fighters, but it will have replaced them ten, twenty, thirty thousand fold with enraged Lebanese men and women. Hezbollah is estimated to have around 10,000 with many reservists. After the Pager Pogrom my tip is that Hezbollah will have 100,000 and possibly far, far more. The Ditzraelis could not have given a greater gift to the Lebanese militia.

My historical knowledge is limited, so please correct me if I am wrong.
But isn’t this the first time in history?
Here is the first time a state has carried out the horrible act of planting bombs in civilian electrical goods and blowing them up en masse.
They include Taiwan, Japan and Hungary, which were named as the location of the companies and the countries they belong to.
This means that by the time the products reached Lebanon, the major part of production and distribution occurred within the region known as the West allaiance.
I cannot help but feel that this incident has had its fair share of impact on global consumer behaviour and has greatly undermined the willingness to use western electrical products.
I’m concerned about the sales of IT and telecommunications products in the next year and beyond.
Posted by: Nokaz | Sep 19 2024 6:11 utc
The countries that made the devices are innocent. It could of been made in a BRICS friendly country like China or Russia and it would not make a difference. The key part is that it is the batteries that exploded, not the device.
Thanks to a few posters on the thread we have a pretty good idea of what happened.
From the videos on X and telegram, we know the explosions are powerful, more powerful than what lithium battery fires/explosions are capable of. (You can chk normal lithium batteries explosion vids to compare) This lines up with earlier reports and posts that said plastic explosives was used and was placed inside the battery casing.
There are reports and pictures of multiple types of electronic devices exploding. From pagers to radios, iphones to laptops. So you can rule out a single compromised manufacturer. The only thing uniting them are lithium batteries.
There are reports and posts that say there had been instances where shipments of the devices had been held up in certain middle eastern countries enroute to Lebanon.
With the information available, the simplest method and what likely occurred is that Israel manufactured a standarised lithium battery cell replacement with added plastic explosives. They stationed themselves at the ports/airports and replaced the normal lithium battery cells with the tampered versions on devices enroute to Lebanon and Syria. The shipment delays may be explained by Israel needing more time to insert tampered batteries on large orders.
I have read about intelligence agencies using this method to assassinate singular individuals but never on a wide scale like this. However it does fit the Israeli MO with their general lack of care for civilian casualties.

Just saw some bits of surprise info from Taiwan media:
– The big boss of BAC, the so-called agent/licensee in Hungary, is not Cristiana Bársony-Arcidiacono (according to MSM), but a man called Tom, who probably lives Austria, according to Mr. Hsu, president of Gold Apollo. (starting at ca 1:05)
With this Tom, Hsu said he had video conference. According to him, BAC has acted as regional agent for many of Gold Apollo’s products for about three years, then two years ago BAC/Tom gathered some engineers designed one product/pager asking for using Apollo trademark to market its product, and Gold Apollo licensed the Apollo trademark to it.
Gold Apollo gets $15 for every BAC pagers. Hsu said he’s “screwed” now and would consider to sue BAC(?).
– BAC has set up a company called Apollo System HK and one sales office in TW.
“From our sales office in Taiwan to our logistics facilities in Hong Kong, we provide full customer experience and maintain a direct connection to our manufacturers in Asia…”
Now if you click on “about us” and “pagers” under “product”, “service”, “why us” and “contact us” on the website of Apollo System HK, you only get “404 not found”.
The woman who is in charge of BAC sales office in TW is called Teresa Wu, who used to work for Gold Apollo.
The TW office was set up on April 11th. She used to send big boxes to HK, which were then re-packed by BAC to send away.
Both Hsu and Teresa underwent hour-long investigations by local authorities. It is reported that the authorities took away the contract signed by Gold Apollo and BAC, its shipment and accounting books, etc.

The big boss of Gold Apollo, Mr. Hsu said BAC’s parent company is called FG Group (video at 17:16 ). The reporter said that he only gave information like “squeezing toothpaste”.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs data show that Gold Apollo export 254 sets of pagers to Hungary in 2022. (18:25) Further investigation needed.
The two TW talk-show guests pointed out the exploded pagers have “Made in Taiwan” on them. This is illegal because Gold Apollo only has the right to license its trademark. TW authorities need to take action to clear TW’s name, however, they are blaming mainland China for “narrative warfare”.
The host also said neither US nor Taiwan authorities will do real investigation about it due to their close ties with Israel.

Posted by: lulu | Sep 22 2024 20:52 utc | 781

Gold Apollo’s president said the big boss of BAC is a man called Tom probably living in Austria, contrary to what Westen MSM reported (a woman called Cristiana Barsony-Arcidiacono living in Hungary).
Now he also told TW media that BAC’s parent company is called FG Group.
It’s rather strange that Western MSM (BBC/NYT/CNN), which all have journos in TW, show not interest to investigate these glaring discrepancies come directly from the mouth of Gold Apollo’s president, rather focus on their investigation in Hungary and Bulgaria.

Posted by: lulu | Sep 22 2024 21:11 utc | 782

According to this TW talk show guest, Taiwan has a long history of close cooperation with USA/Israel, from KMT’s Chiang Kaishek to today’s DPP government. (5:22)
Current DPP’s vice president Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴), who was actually an American (with a Chinese mother) born in Japan, said Taiwan needed to cooperate with Israel in military, intelligence and foreign relationship.
The guest also mentioned Gold Apollo is a highly political sensitive company. It refuses (or is not allowed) to set up production site on mainland China due to its cooperation with FBI and other Western intelligence/military. So it is rather weird that the president of this company would have just licensed its trademark to a letterbox company without any due diligence.

Customized Communications Made In Taiwan
Now, the unearthing of the 2011 report moves the discussion back to New Taipei City in Taiwan.

CUSTOMIZED WALKIE-TALKIES

”Gold Apollo sells a walkie-talkie that is almost extinct in Taiwan, but its professional technology, customization and strict quality control have won orders from European and American governments, making it number one in the United States and the second largest in Europe,” the 2011 CommonWealth Magazine report said.
The company in Taiwan specializes in pagers and “customized walkie-talkies”, the article continued. Customers include intelligence groups in various countries, the report said. “The demand is mainly concentrated in intelligence, firefighting, national defense and other units in Europe and the United States.”
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation is a customer. “The FBI ordered a text-type walkie-talkie,” said the report, based on interviews with the company’s staff. It says of the FBI order: “The technical requirements of this product are not high, but the security confidentiality requirements are extremely strict.”
The small company outsources key parts of the production chain to others. Gold Apollo “is responsible for receiving orders, and designing and purchasing raw materials”, and also “production and assembly outsourcing”, the article added.
