Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

How Political Corruption Allows Antony Blinken To Break The Law

ProPublica headlines:

Israel Deliberately Blocked Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, Two Government Bodies Concluded. Antony Blinken Rejected Them.

The selected formulation is unfortunately not covering the real issue at hand.

U.S. law prohibits military aid to countries which are hindering U.S. humanitarian aid.

Two government entities subordinated to the State Department concluded, in writing, that Israel was blocking their humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, reported to Congress the opposite conclusion because he intended to deliver more military aid to Gaza.

By misleading Congress on humanitarian aid to Gaza Blinken deliberated broke the law.

That should have been the headline:

The U.S. government’s two foremost authorities on humanitarian assistance concluded this spring that Israel had deliberately blocked deliveries of food and medicine into Gaza.

The U.S. Agency for International Development delivered its assessment to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the State Department’s refugees bureau made its stance known to top diplomats in late April. Their conclusion was explosive because U.S. law requires the government to cut off weapons shipments to countries that prevent the delivery of U.S.-backed humanitarian aid. Israel has been largely dependent on American bombs and other weapons in Gaza since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.

But Blinken and the administration of President Joe Biden did not accept either finding. Days later, on May 10, Blinken delivered a carefully worded statement to Congress that said, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of U.S. humanitarian assistance.”

This case should be sufficient for Congress to open an inquiry and to demand under oath witness statements from Blinken and others involved in the affair. It could be a great instrument during the current election campaign to damage the position of Democratic candidates.

However that is unlikely to happen.

Unfortunately Blinken lied to Congress about Israeli war crimes because he knew that he would get away with it.

The uni-state, the foreign policy conglomerate which resides in both parties and the bureaucracy, will not allow that U.S. war-crimes or those of its associated forces will ever be prosecuted. The Bush administration did get away with lying about weapons of mass destruction. The CIA and the Pentagon got away with torturing hundreds of innocent people.

Would the Republicans prosecuted Blinken as they should they would have to break with their own support and commitment to Zionist supremacy. With their own candidate's campaign depending on donations from Zionist billionaires there is no chance that the Republicans will break away from their previous policies.

The will of the people, as enacted in laws, gets ignored in favor of monies that allow established politicians to continue their games.

Even much “international law” is largely based on “custom” and is not engraved in stone.

On reading that I remembered something I had noted some weeks ago. There is a Geneva convention on diplomatic stuff. Forget the exact name of it. This will cover embassies as well I think.
Various Geneva conventions are much older than the US but I believe they also form part of internal law. Prisoners of war comes under a Geneva convention and that is international law.

Scum like Zio Jew Blinken, make me sick.
The war crimes are now out in the open and as is AIPAC, Zionist billionaire owner of Congress.
None of this corruption is sustainable. These sociopaths are dangerous and walking us straight to the abyss, all while moronic Americans twiddle their thumbs and put their fingers in their ears and say, “LA LA LA LA!! CAN’T HEEEEEAR YOUUUUU!!”.
If Blinken and Bibi Miliekowsky want a ground war with Lebanon or Iran, they may well have American boys dying for Israhell. Nothing to wake Americans up like their loved ones coming home in coffins

At the end of this exchange between Russia and the USA in the UN the American representative pulls out his mobile phone and starts twiddling away while Ryabkov is responding, like an ADHD teen.
The israelis pioneered this kind of behaviour to show their complete disdain for the speeches of other states in the assembly.
What does it mean when the very States that hold veto power in the UN also treat it like a circus?

The true evil here is in the leadership of Iraq who permitted this to happen, including those who promised resistance but sat fat and idle instead (Moqtada Al Sadr, looking at you ….
As great an evil as America is, nothing can parallel the evil of those who betray their own people.
Moreover, the Iraqi people themselves share part of the blame. Their indolence and negligence in resistance permitted this to continue.

You ask a very important Q. As Lavrov states in the first linked article, Russia wasn’t heeded during WW2 when it really did matter. And that was when the West still had diplomats. Post-WW2 events seen from the Russian/Soviet POV is dramatically different since the West actively sought to destroy the USSR with nukes and would have if only the Outlaw US Empire had been capable of producing more than the few that it could. IMO, the inability or unwillingness to understand the Russian/Soviet POV and essentially ignore what was said by them is one of the main reasons why the Outlaw US Empire is very close to being destroyed by Russia–read the third linked article. And then there’s Lavrov at the G-20 held on the UNGA sidelines telling it how it is in ten minutes.
If the Outlaw US Empire continues to refuse to listen, then it’ll be visited by Mr. Avangard. We’re now at that stage.
Very busy event filled day created plenty of work. The day began with “With UNGA Debate Coming, Lavrov’s Interview for the Documentary The UN From the 20th to the 21st Century,” https://karlof1.substack.com/p/with-unga-debate-coming-lavrovs-interview
That was followed by “State Council Presidium: Russian Exports Development,” https://karlof1.substack.com/p/state-council-presidium-russian-exports
And then we had the big, anticipated event of the day, “Meeting of Russia’s Permanent Conference of the Security Council on Nuclear Deterrence,” https://karlof1.substack.com/p/meeting-of-russias-permanent-conference
And topped with “Lavrov G-20 on UNGA Sidelines,” https://karlof1.substack.com/p/lavrov-g-20-on-unga-sidelines
Lavrov’s interview contains a new link to recently released documents from Russia’s archive that those interested in such things will want to explore.

US Air Force Lt. General Michael Short told The Washington Post in the spring of 1999 that the strategy behind NATO’s 78-day air war against Yugoslavia was to make the civilian population so miserable it would oust Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. Short said,
“If you wake up in the morning and you have no power to your house and no gas to your stove and the bridge you take to work is down and will be lying in the Danube for the next 20 years, I think you begin to ask, ‘Hey, Slobo, what’s this all about? How much more of this do we have to withstand?'”

#1701 Hezba-lah withdrawal after the Litani river
August 11, 2006 was the date when resolution 1701 passed.
The UN, Lebanon, and several other parties made a commitment to disarm Hezbollah.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon — UNIFIL — was created to enforce these obligations.
They did nothing.
UN resolution 1701 states “security arrangements to prevent the resumption of hostilities, including the establishment between the Blue Line and the Litani river of an area free of any armed personnel, assets and weapons other than those of the Government of Lebanon and of UNIFIL as authorized in paragraph 11, deployed in this area;”
The UN and International law are worthless.

ASPI and the partnership at Edith Cowan University (soft power) along with the multiplying and expanding U$ bases across north-west + central Australia (NT + SA) (hard power) has managed to basically co-opt and control 2/3 of this country in a little more than 10 years.

The situation between Lebanon and Israel since October 8th, 2023 is intolerable and presents an unacceptable risk of a broader regional escalation.
This is in nobody’s interest, neither of the people of Israel nor of the people of Lebanon.
It is time to conclude a diplomatic settlement that enables civilians on both sides of the border to return to their homes in safety.
Diplomacy however cannot succeed amid an escalation of this conflict.
Thus we call for an immediate 21 day ceasefire across the Lebanon-Israel border to provide space for diplomacy towards the conclusion of a diplomatic settlement consistent with UNSCR 1701, and the implementation of UNSCR 2735 regarding a ceasefire in Gaza.
We call on all parties, including the Governments of Israel and Lebanon, to endorse the temporary ceasefire immediately consistent with UNSCR 1701 during this period, and to give a real chance to a diplomatic settlement.
We are then prepared to fully support all diplomatic efforts to conclude an agreement between Lebanon and Israel within this period, building on efforts over the last months, that ends this crisis altogether.

Britain’s top diplomat directly accused Vladimir Putin of running a “mafia state” and likened him to a slave-owner in a fiery address at the United Nations Security Council.
David Lammy, the U.K.’s foreign secretary, took aim at the Russian president during the New York gathering Tuesday, telling Russia’s representative: “We know who you are.”
Lammy invoked the legacy of slavery to take aim at Putin’s conduct in the invasion of Ukraine, and accused the Russian government of running “roughshod over international law” while claiming to stand up for the “Global South.”
“Your invasion is in your own interests,” he said. “Yours alone. To expand your mafia state into a mafia empire. An empire built on corruption.”
He added, “Mr President, I speak not only as a Briton, as a Londoner, and as a foreign secretary.
T“But I say to the Russian representative, on his phone as I speak, that I stand here also as a Black man whose ancestors were taken in chains from Africa, at the barrel of a gun to be enslaved, whose ancestors rose up and fought in a great rebellion of the enslaved.

“Iran-backed Hezbollah” is the “Hamas-run health ministry” script that every Western media outlet is now dutifully inserting in every article laundering the genocidal Israeli rape and death-cult’s massacres in Lebanon.
these propaganda scripts are so patently obvious, you can see the AIPAC handler behind whatever “journalist” is inserting it in their headlines and articles. “Oh shit, I’m using Hezbollah now. I have to add Iran-backed in front of it, as my director @joseffederman ordered me to.”
the same @joseffederman still launders the Gaza genocide by adding a depraved propaganda script whenever the Gaza death toll is cited when every other outlet has established the majority are civilians, and it’s true even per Israel’s own made up figures:

Bingo, The zionists have run out of Iron Dome AD defense missiles in the north, and the other systems must be running short as well. So, quite by “chance” or “coincidence” both the US and France suddenly declare they want a “cease-fire” to give Israel time to reload. The Herzbollah tactic of draining the Zionist AD systems of missiles, is paying off.
Who would have guessed that US and France would let themselves be implicated in genocides and to defend terrorists when the going gets rough? (Israel is the terrorist after the pagers and bombing of civilians, if you were in any doubt)

Re: Likud’s Military operational concept ?
It appears their operational concept is a series of punitive incursions . Go in, blow up a bunch of stuff and people. Then leave to rest and refit. Mowing-the-Lawn in triple time as it were.
The Likud doggedly holds fast to this concept despite its clear failures. The resistance also rests and refits. They train a ever expanding cadre of eager fighting volunteers, tunnel builders, and underground workshop workers.
Combat footage suggests these punitive incursions only serve to get IDF killed and mauled. About all the IDF can do is call in an Airstrike after getting ambushed. The Resistance soldiers are long gone down into their ever expanding underground fortress.
Question – why does the Likud continue to pursue this failed operational concept ?

Actually, I am not sure that they DO have “a shit load of bombs, planes and missiles”.
They do NOT seem to have used many (If any) of those two ton “Bunker” bombs, on Lebanon (The ones that leave 5-7 metre holes, 2’500 supplied), just the undefended house destroying ones. The missiles, as I mentioned above, are depleted, and the planes are now less able to use airfields within “Israel”. (One went to Cyprus, and it is rumoured that strips in Jordan are being used. – non confirmed).
“Replenishment” of arms by the US and others, especially at the rate they will be used in modern warfare, are no longer a “given” factor. The US is starting to have difficulty in finding arms for itself, Multiple garrisons and Ukraine, as well as the zionists, all at the same time. It also has decided that it can sell arms to NATO while having an industry in decline, (but profitable!).
The US is beginning to have to supply many fronts all at once, and as we have seen with the “Oiler” fiasco, it does NOT have all the backups that will be necessary in a prolonged semi-war situation. Air supplies to Israel by cargo planes would seem to be potential targets.
****
Since all these fights are developing into long term warfare, rather than the “move in – Smash someone and move out again”, some thought should be given to “sustainabilty as well as “availabilty” of arms. But the USUK do not think far ahead, even if there is some doubt if they think at all.

1,200 Palestinians endure systematic torture in Israeli prisons
Since October, Israeli occupation forces have abducted thousands of Palestinians from Gaza, though the exact number of abductees remains unknown.
….The Commission revealed that nearly 1,200 Palestinians are experiencing systematic torture, abuse, and assault, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on Tuesday.
Testimonies from previously abducted Palestinians revealed horrific incidents that have become normalized in Israeli occupation prisons, including severe violence, rape, electrocution, extreme hunger, humiliation, and various other forms of mistreatment.
The Commission noted that since October 2023, Israeli detention facilities have turned into sites for torture operations…..

Apparently Hezbollah made history yesterday – when for the first time it fired a missile (Qadar 1) into a residential area in Tel Aviv, that houses the Mossad HQ – Western media outlets claim the missiles never reached its target, and was shotdown – however, other sources claim it did hit its target.
A Hezbollah spokesperson – said the strike was in retaliation to Mossad’s pager explosions, that killed Hezbollah personnel. This was the first time, a long range missile was fired into Tel Aviv by Hezbollah – and Hezbollah chiefs – think it could be a game changer.

A friendly note on jewish names and a historical context thereof
Jews have such a deep seated antiWhite, antichristian position that they do things like spell Johnathan as Jonathan and Anthony as Antony.
They also when immigrating to countries that require paperwork to be signed in a language they don’t speak, instead of signing the docs with an X like all other illiterate immigrants, they sign it with a circle.
In Israeli schools, the addition symbol in mathematics has been replaced with one that isn’t so close to a CHRISTIAN CROSS. You can find this alternative symbol for their curriculum on wikipedia.
At the same time as they hate these things, but actually usually EARLIER in their infiltration of a country, before they have gained power, they actually try to blend in and assume surnames of the people of the host population. Sometimes this is by marriage, sometime other means, but if a country legally allows name changes then yes they will literally steal your last name.
Their tremendous success in Germany up to the Weimar republic allowed what we see today with many many jews worldwide having German surnames, perhaps with a “gold” or “silver” addition of their own based on whatever expensive thing they covet in that day and age, but plenty of jews literally have stolen names from the German people.
Now this last part is simple, easily relatable for everyone reading this and completely opens your eyes
The last time jews had such power and the host population was becoming aware of their occupation, one of the ways to fight back but not risk legal prosecution was to not purchase from jewish owned businesses, etc. Obviously you must differentiate yourselves from your jewish occupiers so many many people who shared a last name with a jewish family or business, but had an actual claim to that name, unlike jews…
They went to legally change their name and add a double constants at the end
So literally every Rossmann, Henn, etc, etc THAT YOU KNOW, or ever knew of or heard of…
EVERY SURNAME WITH DOUBLE CONSTANTS AS THE LAST TWO LETTERS WERE FAMILIES, PEOPLE, BUSINESSES AND YOUR ANCESTORS STARTING TO ATTEMPT TO BREAK FREE FROM JEWISH OCCUPATION.
Being an antisemite means you choose to believe and trust the judgement and character of your own ancestors, your own DNA, your own blood – instead of believing the lies that jews tell you about your own ancestors.

The guy is another dancing clown, much like Obama, an ignorant narcissist who projects the ‘western values’ – that now fan his sense of self importance – on any enemy of the current imperial project. All of his speeches seem to follow the same format in as much as the subscript goes as follows:
“Here I am, a poor black boy who made good so I can, speak on behalf of the former owners of slaves in order to lay their crimes in the lap of [name of specific enemy of my new friends].”
His speech to Conference followed exactly the same format and contained nothing but rhetoric, which prettty much defines the political agenda of Starmfuhrer’s version of the Labour Party in the land of roly poly forelock tuggers.
Cheers.

1. Israel/Palestine is a very important issue but it is not the only important issue facing the U.S. or the world.
2. Whether some people like it or not, the issue isn’t always as clear-cut as people would like. Although one would always want to vote for the best candidate, sometimes you have to hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. Whether you like the presidential candidates or not, if Trump is not elected you get Harris/Walz, and all the consequences, intended and unintended, that go with it. A mandate for open borders just to start…
For those wishing for the downfall of the U.S. this might be considered a positive outcome.

Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell stated: “Frankly, the Cold War pales in comparison to the multifaceted challenges that China presents. It’s not just the military challenges. It’s across the board. It’s in the Global South. It is in technology. We need to step up our game across the board.”
Israel/Palestine is important, but don’t let it become a distraction. While the plebs are intently focused on the ME they’re going to start a war with China.

And thank you for your considered response. We can respectfully agree to disagree. However, I have to take some issue with that blanket characterization of Trump supporters. I’m a Trump supporter and do not “hate anyone from the middle east” and am willing to bet there are at least one or two others. I’ve worked with people from the middle east (and Africa) including Christians, Muslims and Druze, and if resolving the problem includes labeling anyone who disagrees with you a “hater” then the problem will never be resolved.

This is nonsense of a most desperate variety. “Johnathan” is a tecent American illiteracy (to say nothing of the increasingly common “Johnathon”) and etymologically has nothing to do with “John”; check your KJV, for instance.
And as for surnames ending in -mann, well, Mann is a common German word. Three guesses as to what it means. Its use in German names is at least as old as the introduction of surnames. Rather, surnames ending in -man are either Jewish (transliterated from Cyrillic or Yiddish) or products of American illiteracy. whereas names ending in -mann are echt deutsch.
Let me guess: You were the troll who not so long ago was arguing that virtually every Nazi of note, and virtually every European politician was, on the basis of his name, a Jew? (I got a special kick out of Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s supposedly Jewish surname.)

Somewhat off topic (except for corruption in a general sense).
Melaleuca and others.
I realize this is/can be superficial or at least lacking in subtlety in some ways, and in other ways clearly not but rather instead quite simple and straightforward and to the point.
So if I search for “Russian statement condemning the genocide in Gaza” with quotation marks I get zero results and if I search the same without quotation marks I get all sorts of irrelevant stuff.
Then I try Yandex where the first page of results (using quotation marks) are somewhat more positive but still in no way includes a direct hit or anything close to it. That’s with Yandex informing me that they’ve included search results where they have switched “condemning” with “concerning”. Hah, that’s telling.
That’s what the internet says on this end-node anyways.
I know from reading my RSS subscriptions to RT and Sputnik (and I hear TASS is even worse on this which is a bit odd since Sputnik and TASS are both part of RIA Novosti) that Russian English-language press often seems rather lukewarm towards publicly supporting Hamas and/or Hezbollah and sometimes a bit too keen on parroting Israeli statements and sentiments/opinions.
I would like to see something much clearer from most/all nations in the world including Russia and China:
· Outright condemnation of the genocide (as genocide, not as various acts of violence) and the genocider “Israel”.
· Outright rejection of any legitimacy, UN membership, and continued existence of “Israel”.
· Realization of and acknowledgement that Abbas & co are bought “spoilers”.
If something like that has escaped me then please post it.
Besides that it has been almost a year and very clear what was going on from a week or two after the start so one would think the question of “who says what” should be very obviously clear and in no way in any doubt but that is not the case as far as I can see.
Well except for as in the negative that is; it is not being said.
Russia and China has vetoed some US “poisonous ceasefire” resolutions and it seems they do some stuff behind the scenes but that’s about it isn’t it?
Correct me if I am wrong! (Please).
No free pass on genocide.
