Anyway, I wasn’t complaining. I know that there’s plenty of people that are a lot worse off than I. I was actually living illegally on my own property. In California, you can’t stay anywhere without electricity. I’m lucky enough to have negotiated the labyrinth of rules, regulations, fees, fines, inspections and paperwork to finally have a new place.

Of course it’s a poor option, but that doesn’t mean it’s not part of the agenda.

Agreed.
The neo cons have never been accused of strategic, intellectual brilliance.

A deeper dive into how the USG has been weaponized against the US people. It is no coincidence that the same thing occurs in UK, France, Germany and more. Maybe not in multipolarist sphere but I wouldn’t know. They are generally on the rise after a low period whilst we are generally in decline after a rise. During the decline, it seems one symptom is increasingly dictatorial and hostile governments treating their own citizens as prisoners in a matrix of their own making. That movie Matrix resonated deeply for a reason.
Nowadays it is fashionable to blame Wicked Whitey for everything. I resent this partly because I’m white (and, even worse, male!) but mainly because it is obviously a manufactured ‘wedge issue’ deliberately spread through schools, media and legislation.
Uncle Tony here wrote a nice piece about berries in England, and how beautiful England is and how the US Empire wants to control and ruin that which is good therein. Tolkien felt similarly (though blaming different causes), as did Blake, Wordsworth, Dickens and many more. Jerome K Jerome’s side-splittingly hilarious Three Men in a Boat is also a lament for the passing of Natural Beauty in how the Thames, an ancient, great and truly lovely river, was gradually getting polluted and crushed under the relentless Orwellian boot of industrial ‘modernization’.
The conflicts are never between peoples and races but classes. If Whites or a class system are bad, the answer is not to destroy that race or class but purge that which is bad within it. We the People comprise all the classes who need each other to create a Good World together, not for one class or race to war on another. The corruption though greed, selfishness, arrogance, laziness, self-indulgence and hatred – they are the Enemy within all classes and races, not the classes and races themselves.
IF Trump-Kennedy win and IF they pursue a bona-fide swamp-draining agenda (unlikely but possible) how can they take their nation to an honest, decent place? Should they kill all the bad guys? Might work, but what would remain standing and how would it continue? Would it be better? Probably not. How can they repair a broken republic? Quite the challenge, eh? And it’s the same in all Western European states.
I keep coming back to Jefferson: When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.
The roots of corruption are the rotten-hearted who, over time, put in place materialist self-serving cultures reflecting their own corrupt mindset and world view. Their ‘progress’ increasingly becomes We the Peoples’ loss. The English need to arise to protect England which is indeed truly beautiful like all other countries. Easy to say, hard to do. But maybe, just maybe, we should elect leaders with good, not rotten, hearts, and maybe, just maybe they can inspire the good hearts in every citizen’s breast and then a good way forward can be found.
(Psst: A subversive appeal for aristocracy!)

“These new results reveal the stunning shift in research leadership over the past two decades towards large economies in the Indo-Pacific, led by China’s exceptional gains. The US led in 60 of 64 technologies in the five years from 2003 to 2007, but in the most recent five years (2019–2023) is leading in seven. China led in just three of 64 technologies in 2003–20074 but is now the lead country in 57 of 64 technologies in 2019–2023, increasing its lead from our rankings last year (2018–2022), where it was leading in 52 technologies.”

Skimming through: The common left objection to antifa is that they are infiltrated by police and act as provocateurs. And the rank-and-file are ultras, whose guaranteed failures are objectionable because it’s a losing tactic. That is the only decent criticism of antifa in my opinion. Also, my opinion, this is a decisive criticism. And my opinion is al, being against antifa because they are vociferously against fascism and you’re offended by their propaganda against fascism is apologetics for fascism, especially if you dishonestly conflate being a cop’s tool with actually promoting fascist ideas.
Hard money is not the salvation of humanity. The world operated on hard money for centuries, it wasn’t then, and it won’t be in the future. Only cranks sell hard money as the law of nature/God.
Inflation is not good…but it’s much less of a problem if you’re a creditor wanting to get repaid in hard, non-inflating, money. Solidarity with the creditor class is pretty objectionable, on both moral and strategic grounds. Worse, inflation in the value of assets like real estate provides capital gains. (The fact that not all real estate appreciates and the cashing in of paper gains is not guaranteed is only decisive for particular individuals and on particular occasions.) Solidarity with this kind of property also crosses class lines. Further, parading the boogeyman of inflation very often is to distract from the problem of unemployment. Unemployment is the true killer. Ignoring that breaks worker solidarity…which for some is the point of ranting about inflation. Soft money, which is to say “inflation,” has been sold as another panacea since the days of the Populists. It isn’t either. There are no monetary solutions to capitalism.
Last thought? The larger part of the people are underpaid, not overtaxed. Every politician selling tax cuts while ignoring pay and unemployment is a swindler, all of them. The currently popular con job here is to pretend manufacturing jobs are good jobs. Not true, union jobs are good jobs.

My proofreader is terrible, it was supposed to be, inflation is much more of a problem for creditors.

Trump, Who whined that ‘our boys have been fighting with too restrictive [sic] rules of engagement’,[tell that to the Falluja inhabitans !] then proceed to discard it in the assault of Mosul.
Bill Van Auken

the mass civilian casualties were the result of changed rules of engagement on the part of the US-led “coalition” that have minimized any attempt to protect the lives of unarmed men, women and children trapped in Mosul
……………
the American-led coalition has been quicker to strike urban targets from the air with less time to weigh the risks for civilians. They say the change reflects a renewed push by the American military under the Trump administration to speed up the battle for Mosul.”

What’s this obsession with TW, China is so big,, you can afford to let it go

This is prolly the dumbest question ever from an empire mouthpiece.
But you never know, they always manage to outdo themselves in their next outburst.
*UN asked FUKUS to let go of Diego Garcia…
CUZ its an ill gotten booty !
*UN asked FUKUS TO return land robbed from native Americans cuz its ill gotten booty !
*UN never ask China to let go of TW cuz its war booty robbed by jp, subject to reunification !
So if Hassan has anything between his ears, he should ask FUKUS..

Why dont you let go of your ill gotten booties, you can afford it cuz you already cornered most of the planets premium real estates ?

Good nite.

Axes vs Axis
Being a person born into an oral society, I grew up on legends, myths and historical events. I used to visualize the story mentally, later on when reading I found this also could happen if I let the envisioning part run…when in private school, while studying ancient history a friend introduced me to Conan the Barbarian magazine stories that he said had maps, stories of ancient civilizations and stories similar to our studies
Nonetheless, whenever I see the word “axes”, it automatically conjures up Conan with a huge Battle Axe yelling “By Crom!”
Axis is the juncture where militarily and otherwise, one pivots…on the Ukrainian thread, I sometimes blurt out “By Crom!
