Dire Warnings As Israel's Fascists Have Taken Over The Rein

Recently Crooke has written a lot about the internal changes in Israel. The supremacist settlers have taken over the rein:

Rabbi Dov Lior has been described by Netanyahu as the “élite unit that leads Israel”, because of his influence and control over the settler forces. The 1948 Irgun, drawing heavily on the Mizrahim, is being reborn?
Isn’t it time that the western ruling structures raised their eyes from their reverie, and read the runes that manifest all around them? Some serious players don’t think as you westerners do; they seek Gog and Magog (the prophecy that “the children of Israel” will be victorious in the battle of Armageddon). That is what you risk.

"I am writing you this letter in pain. In deep fear. As a Jew, as an Israeli, and as a security official, I learned about the increasing phenomenon of Jewish terrorism by the hilltop youth. The hilltop youth phenomenon has long created a significant amount of terrorism towards Palestinians.With the deterioration of the security situation, and the inability of the police to enforce the law, and perhaps hidden encouragement from them, the phenomenon is changing and becoming more significant. From the work of individuals, it is now taken up by hundreds. There is no longer a fear of executive detention due to the good conditions they receive there.
Along with the money they receive when freed and the praise they receive from members of Knesset, alongside the delegitimization of security services. It has moved from secretive and narrow activity to open and large-scale organization. Sometimes, it is due to the use of weapons provided by the state. From avoiding the security forces to attacking them. From disconnecting from the establishment to receiving support from parts of the establishment.
The answer is not the Shin Bet. The Shin Bet is a band-aid designed to deal with a small group of extremists. It cannot deal with the root of the problem. What is needed is a coalition of navigators, including ministers, government departments, rabbis, and regional leaders. Without that, it might makes right.The leaders of this movement attempted to bring the system to a total loss of control. We are on the verge of a process that will change our reality. The damage to Israel and to most of the settlers is beyond description:
- Global delegitimization even among our closest friends.
- Significant IDF forces are needed, and they are already struggling to meet operational needs.
- Revenge attacks that will launch another front in the already existing multi-front war.
- The entry of new elements in the terror cycle that were out of it.
- A slippery slope towards lawlessness.
- Difficulty in creating regional alliances against the Shi'ite axis.
- Above all, it is a stain on Judaism and all of us.
Continuing in this direction will lead to a great amount of bloodshed and change the face of Israel into something unrecognizable."
The bottom line is that too many elements in Israeli society support Jewish terrorism. Meanwhile, the outcomes it leads to could undermine the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state. This is a crisis that must be addressed.

After October 7 Ben Gvir, the Minister of National Security, bought 10,000 assault rifles for 'civilian security teams' in the West Bank. Those armed settlers are his private army. Ben Gvir is also in control of the police.
He orders the the police to hold back while his settler army commits pogroms against Palestinians. This while the Israeli army is busy fighting -and losing- on multiple fronts is a situation that is destined to become catastrophic for Israel.
It is what the ideologues want and what Moshe “Bogie” Ya’alon and Ronen Bar fear.

RUSSIAN HISTORY – A Middle East Chapter
I have translated one of the most comprehensive histories of Russia and its relations in Asia and in the Middle East, (first and second millennia) from the Russian text to English. So, it is not from a western viewpoint. It is “Ancient RUS and the Great Steppe”, by Lev Gumilev. This book I am uploading now on my Substack, one chapter at a time.
I have a free library that I curate on Substack, and that I publish to a couple times each week. It has always been serial publishing, one chapter, or about 1 hour's-worth of reading at a time, going on now for a year. There are many books about Russia already uploaded and you can read as many chapters as you want, and as fast (or slow) as you wish. The premise is that world collaboration comes from mutual understanding of our different cultures.
Therefore, it is not about current events, which I see as always casting blame according to the writer's cultural and ideological built-in bias. Cultural views are passed through history, so ancient and pre-modern history are my main subjects. Eurasia is our western root. Also, there is much writing on ethnogenesis, (how are we different from each other).
My library is the only place to find these translations. I did them over a period of several years before I ever thought of publishing, just because they were so fascinating.
I believe the site is very organized, and book chapters are all contained in each book’s Master Index. This year I will have over 2 million words uploaded. The "Jewish and democratic state" was always of course an impossibility. It can be either one but not both.
The one state that is coming, to be viable economically, culturally and geopolitically - should comprise not just Palestine but Lebanon, Syria and Jordan too: the old Syrian entity as it has functioned for millennia within successive empires. With the imperialist colony gone, the overland trade routes between Asia and Africa that it has blocked will also be restored.

The article describes something similar to nazism in the 1930s although at that time there had been an over 50 year process with substantial currents in Germany that were, at least in appearance, nationalism related to an idea of Germany as a nation of culture that was threatened by liberalism.
But zionism and german nazism both have something in common.

No, it isn't. It's the real thing, not known in any other current human culture; it's been sitting there since the time of Josephus. Without repudiation of their previous vocation I would suggest they are not rebels. It as necessary but not sufficient condition of being a rebel in the “intelligence community”. Having something to say like Phil Agee or maybe John Kiriakou or even Snepp or Marchetti is the rest of it.
I’ve been saying something similar to Crooke on Craig Murray’s website in the forum for several months, including offering several of the examples Crooke uses, as quoted by b above. First a minor correction, I started riding horses when I was 6 years old, every bridle I ever saw had two reins. That is why it should be plural in your title. This word is often confused with reign which means to rule.

You don't do that if you're masking a service to the Empire/Israel, as Lebanon is far from pro-Israel. You couldn't live there. I am a great fan of Reed, and The Controversy.
Unfortunately, a weakness of book is that it is kind of "semi-documented." There are lots of footnotes and some of them contain source info. for quotes, etc. But most of them do not. So that makes it harder to use the book as a cudgel to refute ridiculous Zionist arguments and present one's own. (Unlike, say, Ilan Pappe's The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, which takes you right to specific documents in Israeli and other archives.) There is a similar problem with Jeffries, Palestine: The Reality (1939). Another fantastic readable blow-by-blow account (it's very long; I haven't finished it), but not really documented. Both Jeffries and Reed were journalists, which may be why they didn't bother with a lot of source notes. Or, as Jeffries observed, advocates for Palestinians just didn't have the resources like those available to the other side to hire assistants, etc. It is amazing that we have those two books at all.
The Controversy has a useful bibliography, appendixes, and fairly good index.
