What a wonderfull thread a veritable petre dish of american culture…..
Since trumps street theater preformance of a fake attempt on his live, his gulable followers have circled the wagons. A plus for trump. His mob.
Here on this thread the artificaly induced paranoia is palpable.
Metaphorical counter snipers positioned in all the high spots of the thread, fingers twithching on the trigger. Shots fired off left an center..
If no one minds as an anti fascist i’l just whatch. And munch popcorn.
As a critique i notice the thread is all personality with little policy.
I give it a hollywood barf ta.
Exact match to …. blazing saddles.
Very funny in deed.

Water tower guy; (From X twitter), it seems like a SUV that was parked at the bottom of the tower belonged to the FBI, and was then driven off. Note; No actual sighting of anyone climbing up or down is mentioned in the post. Either it has to be confirmed or is BS, but it does open up a possible new avenue of enquiry.

> Why is there so much preoccupation here with Kamala Harris’s looks? Why does that matter to people?
There’s nothing substantial to discuss about her, other than corruption already discussed. So conversation about her tends to the superficial or kamedy. Can you blame some bored moonies for that? I can’t.

Posted by: despondent | Jul 22 2024 12:13 utc | 412

> Why is there so much preoccupation here with Kamala Harris’s looks? Why does that matter to people?
______
Because it is unfortunately true that in American politics looks matter. Why do you think Biden got all those hair plugs?

Posted by: malenkov | Jul 22 2024 12:22 utc | 413

As little as there is to say about Harris’s looks, discussion of her appearance is more fruitful than any of the alternatives.
Unless we want to start a competition to see who can list more of her stupid utterances. I’ll start with one: ”AI is kind of a fancy thing. First of all, it’s two letters.”
It’s a target rich subject.

Posted by: Mark2 | Jul 22 2024 10:34 utc | 400
Trump has put up some pretty convincing performances in the past to bolster the story that he is in mortal combat with the deep state but this is not one of them.
Trumps reaction to something hitting his ear and causing it to bleed look pretty genuine to me.
It does seem awfully convenient that the NYT was right there to take a high speed photo of what we are told is a bullet whizzing by Trump’s head, but who would ever question the veracity of NYT?
The story that Trump faked his own assassination is absurd – there is no possibility that’s what happened.
If you want to piece together a story that this was done to benefit Trump then there is no way that the story can be credible without the FBI and some elements of Trump’s security detail and the NYT in on the conspiracy.
In other words, if this was staged for Trump’s benefit it was done by the deep state to get him elected again.
OTOH if this was a deep state hit intending to knock trump off that once again turned into a nuthing-burger, how many times do you have to watch that movie with the same plot before you figure out the ending?

What the Republicans have to work with (one of countless examples). Plus the pantomime. Plus the cackling:
“The governor and I, we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires. What we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children.”

One theory that I can’t refute is that it was a ZOG hit done to give Trump a mandate for war. Pre-assassin Trump could have won but was not powerful enough to bring about a war. No question ZOG is ruthless enough to kill bystanders, ignore Trumps concern, powerful enough to pull it off within the security services.and shape whatever media narrative is necessary. It also solves the why would Trump ever concede to take a bullet. A third shooter with a pellet gun perhaps?

May I ask for pointers to these (line of sight) renderings
YouTube (and X). My timeline is now choked with computer generated “shooter located here; Trump here. Deceased guy here. Tractor with hydraulic shot out, here”…
I think so far, only my dog hasn’t posted a “second shooter here” vid.

—-
Having avoided swimming in the cesspool of un-vetted news and CT, I was unaware of just how many second shooter theories there are. You are correct that it is all part of the fog, deliberately sowing confusion. I barely have time to skim the MOA threads and go to a few trusted blogs. I don’t have the time to find more good sites by trial and error. So I am at the mercy of dueling narratives, most of them malign.
—-

A credible Second Shooter destroys the essential Lone Wolf narrative.
It’s standard JFK, RFK, Maiden, playbook to now have everyone furiously debating Theory 1 versus Theory 2 / 3/ 4/ infinitum …
All of the internet sleuthing should be directed to linking Austin Private Wealth and Crowdstrike to the assassination attempt. But it seems even Trump himself doesn’t want to lift the curtain back that far.

Yes, the timing of the Crowdstrike “failure” also smells of tradecraft. I’m waiting to see the team that pushed out that disaster be identified, fired, and sued in civil court. But that won’t happen. Then there was the story floated that it was Trump who shorted his own company. More fog. But the short itself shows that someone (like I will ever find out) knew that the shooting was coming.
—-

I’m signed on for the Second Shooter being in the window on the second storey almost immediately above Patsy.
I don’t care if it’s incorrect. As UWDude says, it don’t matter anyhoo.

That’s my take as well. Right down to “it doesn’t matter”. Its all misdirection at this point.

*** Well ‘she'(she of pronouns ‘she’ and ‘her’) is female by appearance and is considered black so that’s two boxes, but the third is still unticked – ‘she’ must be a lesbian or a tranny to tick the third box.***
She has a bypass option on that — already Zionist, all she needs to do is get declared officially Jewish (like her husband).
See this for what effectively catch-all “social media” censorship is intended
Dissent and discussion becoming ever more prohibited.
How soon before it becomes law-enforced overt?

But returning to Kamala — that’s another magic box at least potentially ticked … and since all others able to stand for President or VP are basically of the same ideological persuasion, the censorship will really not affect them … only those who disagree with their foreign (?) policy agendas.

Great analysis there. I followed the whole thing closely and meaning agree with what you present.
1. It was Seth. They killed him.
2. Seth was framed. They killed him.
3. They wrongly accused him. Same.
4. The Seth event is something additional. Same again.
5. It’s fake metadata. Ignore poor Seth as a suspect.
I believe that number 5 is a real possibility. I don’t believe it happened in this case but I want the community to be aware of this.
To my knowledge, I was the first person to create a stochastic communications protocol. What is that? What I see nowadays is drones switching bands or channels. I would also marry me package size and transmission rate. For example Subs transmit at a very low rate. So these are examples of settings that you could change stochastically in a constrained manner. The purpose is to handle poor conditions when communicating. And so that’s relevant part of my Bona fides.
I would recommend using a standard utility program for this. It’s not that AI couldn’t be made that’s really good at it. It is more the case that you are applying a methodology and procedure with very low tolerance for error.
TL;DR Metadata can be faked. They murdered Seth.

Sometimes a typo is just a typo. And at other times, one wonders. From The Daily Mail, “ Leading political figures fear there may be a very sinister reason for Biden’s disappearance since dropping out of 2024 race”
Kamala Harris reportedly says this:
“She told those gathered at an event for National Collegiate Athletic Association championship teams at the White House that he was ‘recovering well’.
Harris said she first met him through his son Beau, who Harris worked beside will both attorney generals in Delaware and California.
Harris told the crowd: ‘We are deeply deeply grateful for his service to our nation.’”
They will? Both attorney generals? If this is substantive not sensational what the heck happens next?

A commenter over at The Register has dug the following clause out of the Clowns Trike terms and conditions: https://forums.theregister.com/forum/all/2024/07/22/windows_crowdstrike_kernel_eu/#c_4899435

“8.6 […]TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CROWDSTRIKE AND ITS AFFILIATES AND SUPPLIERS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT WITH RESPECT TO THE OFFERINGS AND CROWDSTRIKE TOOLS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY THAT THE OFFERINGS OR CROWDSTRIKE TOOLS WILL BE ERROR FREE, OR THAT THEY WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR WILL FULFILL ANY OF CUSTOMER’S PARTICULAR PURPOSES OR NEEDS. THE OFFERINGS AND CROWDSTRIKE TOOLS ARE NOT FAULT-TOLERANT AND ARE NOT DESIGNED OR INTENDED FOR USE IN ANY HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT REQUIRING FAIL-SAFE PERFORMANCE OR OPERATION. NEITHER THE OFFERINGS NOR CROWDSTRIKE TOOLS ARE FOR USE IN THE OPERATION OF AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION, NUCLEAR FACILITIES, COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, WEAPONS SYSTEMS, DIRECT OR INDIRECT LIFE-SUPPORT SYSTEMS, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL, OR ANY APPLICATION OR INSTALLATION WHERE FAILURE COULD RESULT IN DEATH, SEVERE PHYSICAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. Customer agrees that it is Customer’s responsibility to ensure safe use of an Offering and the CrowdStrike Tools in such applications and installations.[…]”

(bolding replicates the original posted comment.)
So perhaps questions need to be asked of those IT managers and controllers who mandated its installation into system-critical processes in the first place.

It has always struck me as somewhat odd that the software industry gets away with these kinds of clauses. I can‘t imagine any regulator permitting such exclusion clauses from, say, a car manufacturer or medical practitioner.

Reports of a 12-hour long cyberwar which disabled the US navy and most of Northern Philippines.
“The story begins with a small conflict between the Philippines and China. After the bitter confrontation off Renai Reef, the Philippines felt unhappy with China’s actions, and the U.S., as its supporters, seized the opportunity. A joint military exercise involving 29 countries took place in the South China Sea, ostensibly to demonstrate “unity” and “strength,” but with ulterior motives — the U.S. military intended to use the opportunity to lay newly developed anti-submarine weapons on the seabed, spy on the movement of Chinese strategic nuclear submarines and further restrict China’s strategic space.
However, China’s reaction was swift and decisive. When a U.S. P-8A anti-submarine patrol aircraft quietly dropped high-tech surveillance equipment in the South China Sea, it was quickly detected by the PLA. The Chinese Coast Guard promptly launched a recovery operation. The U.S. military panicked, as the loss of this equipment would have meant a waste of effort, and advanced technology should not have fallen into the hands of the PLA. This caused a strong reaction, leading to a battle for these critical pieces of equipment.
The U.S. hastily deployed a joint fleet to intercept Chinese coast guard vessels. With the appearance of the Shandong aircraft carrier strike group, a confrontation broke out between the Chinese and US fleets in the South China Sea. Seeing the unfavorable situation, the U.S. immediately dispatched electronic warfare aircraft to assist the combined fleet in making a serious intervention against the Chinese fleet. In response, China quickly deployed its Y-9 electronic warfare aircraft and Project 815A electronic intelligence ship.
The U.S. has deployed Growler electronic warfare aircraft and RC-135 electronic reconnaissance aircraft in an all-out attempt to paralyze the Chinese Navy’s command and control systems with strong electronic jamming. However, the Chinese troops did not retreat; the Y-9 electronic warfare aircraft and the 815A electronic reconnaissance ship responded quickly, engaging in fierce electronic offensive and defensive operations over the South China Sea.
The result for the United States was sad – all electronic signals were turned off over the northern Philippines. Satellite phones, GPS navigation, television signals – complete electronic silence was established in the region for twelve hours.”

I thought 1964-1965 is the acknowledged dividing line.

Posted by: Wisco | Jul 23 2024 2:25 utc | 452

I do think there is some real truth to Boomers vs GenX as a generational divide. Its about computers. Im a late Boomer, a few months older than Kamala. Our class was the first to get access to PCs in my public school, but only the people in “Advanced Placement” got to use them. GenX, on the other hand, had computers all over the place.
I have older brothers who suck at anything related to computers to this day, and they still think MSM TV and the NYT provides them with reliable and trustworthy news.

I’ve never used personal tragedy to shield myself from criticism. I don’t think your criticism of me was justified at all. As an Australian I was simply suggesting that endless discussion of Trump and US elections was a little tedious. The world, we keep reminding Americans, is not always interested in every brain fart they blurt about themselves.

There you go again. Apparently, people all around the world disagree with you, and threads discussing the recent earthquakes in USA politics, even here at MoA, are quite popular.
I wish it were not true (and I live in USA). But it is true. And a lot of people around the world think it really matters a lot which actor is elected. And we will continue to see endless discussions about it. I get your frustration about it though.

American politics? The US needs to be looked at as an organized crime gang. Mafia terminology – the politicians, the beltway, they are mostly foot soldiers. Above them will be the made men and above them will be the capo’s.
Watching the facade that is placed before the democracy is a waste of time if it is assumed they are the decision makers. The only thing that can be gained from watching the shopfront facade is looking for signs of which way the decision makers, the capo’s are headed.

Here is one possible (very low probability) reason for hope. Maybe by simply changing the figurehead it will be sort of a way of saving face to change the “Biden” Ukraine poke-the-bear war policy into one more conducive of diplomacy instead of always doubling down.

Re: vote buying and corruption, worth re-reading this classic
PLUNKITT OF TAMMANY HALL
By George Washington Plunkitt

Chapter 1. Honest Graft and Dishonest Graft
EVERYBODY is talkin’ these days about Tammany men growin’ rich on graft, but nobody thinks of drawin’ the distinction between honest graft and dishonest graft. There’s all the difference in the world between the two. Yes, many of our men have grown rich in politics. I have myself. I’ve made a big fortune out of the game, and I’m gettin’ richer every day, but I’ve not gone in for dishonest graft—blackmailin’ gamblers, saloonkeepers, disorderly people, etc.—and neither has any of the men who have made big fortunes in politics.
There’s an honest graft, and I’m an example of how it works. I might sum up the whole thing by sayin’: “I seen my opportunities and I took ’em.”
Just let me explain by examples. My party’s in power in the city, and it’s goin’ to undertake a lot of public improvements. Well, I’m tipped off, say, that they’re going to lay out a new park at a certain place.
I see my opportunity and I take it. I go to that place and I buy up all the land I can in the neighborhood. Then the board of this or that makes its plan public, and there is a rush to get my land, which nobody cared particular for before.
Ain’t it perfectly honest to charge a good price and make a profit on my investment and foresight? Of course, it is. Well, that’s honest graft.
Or supposin’ it’s a new bridge they’re goin’ to build. I get tipped off and I buy as much property as I can that has to be taken for approaches. I sell at my own price later on and drop some more money in the bank…….(excerpt)

Cottrell said without its tail fluke, the whale’s ability to move and forage is significantly compromised.
It is also likely unable to travel the long distances that humpbacks migrate and is already showing signs of emaciation.” [I postulate that this is referring to some kind of vessel – plus the whale, of course]

Both to me though are a relatively low velocity cartridge at 3000fps and 3200fps.

I follow all your crazy schemes.
I have no point of honor,
Cool, I just follow orders.
You ask me to entertain,
Just say it: sweet cocaine.
I’ll get away with murder,
If you say Pearl Harbor.
You say you love to Samba,
I’ll play you ghetto samba.
You tell me “The biguine, OK!”
The Antilles on sale!
Sheep, sheep,
Submissive, docile, unrebellious,
Baa! Baa! I’ll follow,
Everything you like, I like.
It’s whatever you want!
However you want!
Wherever you go, I go!
It’s whatever you want!
Whatever you want!
I followed you into Hanoi
Just to save your empire
Your obedient, little boy.
Bye. I shoot to kill.
Standing, lying, clawing into Messahoud,
I followed for the honor, the horror,
Sheep follower.
If you say, “Meet me in Kabul,”
Into Kabul I tumble.
If you say, “Go to Santiago”.
To Santiago I go.
Sheep, sheep,
Submissive, docile, unrebellious.
Baa! Baa! I’ll follow
In peace and in war!
It’s whatever you want!
However you want!
Wherever you go, I go!
It’s whatever you want!
Whatever you want!
KKK and Baba Cool,
GreenPeace and Moonie fools,
Karl Marx Brothers and the lovely baby dollar,
Bob Dylan in your den
A chic li’l Nazi — modern!
It’s whatever you want!
It’s whatever you want!
However you want!
Wherever you go, I go!

Hey guys, you have to remember the noise coming from the US that dominates the news and media cycle is brought to the entire world by the same people, over and over and over again. The same talking points in yer face 24/7 what else are people supposed to talk about….. like real meaningful issues….. that’s not part of the programing, nor part of the conditioning. I guess I’m a bit more basic. Oz rock band tribute to Slim Dusty. I don’t like country much but that is pretty upbeat.

A few memories of small town pubs that would get a band in a Saturday night
But that one – when I was flying, there was a few young blokes from Cunnamulla when I was on jobs in that area were outstanding.
One, he went by the name of Henry. He has always stuck in my memory. I saw a lot of things when I was flying, but to see him throw a virtually full grown heifer in mid air as they were going over a wash – that was really something.
He was trying to onto her ducking and diving through trees and when we got through there, there was the wash and on the other side a wall of thick scrub/undergrowth. When she broke out onto the clear ground at the edge of the wash, I thought he had lost her. He just gunned the bike and threw her while they both were in the air.
That was pretty much the end of the day, and I landed and he came back to get the Toyota and horse float to pick up her and another one or to he had to tie up. I think it was that one but when we got out there, I thought how the hell are we going to get this on the float. She was about 3 or 400kg. Henry just grabs her by the tail and heaves her up. He was a young bloke from Cunningham.
That Screaming Jets tribute – the Cunnumulla fella – very much those young blokes from Cunnammulla area, especially Henry.

Killer Kamala Harris had a long history as a psychopath before her bid for the presidency.
She even went so far as to attempt to stop a innocent man being released from Death Row. She definitely knew he was innocent, I guess it was the principal of the thing.
Given the number of knowledgeable US commenters lately, I am surprised that nobody has been discussing this.

Re: comedians/comedy (politics aside), I’ve not really rated British stand-up since the days of Dave Allen (although he was sitting down) and Frankie Howerd, but we do make a fair job of sit-coms; Yes Minister/Prime Minister are two examples that seem to be well-known around the world, to which I’d also add Drop The Dead Donkey, Not The Nine O’Clock News and KYTV that mercilessly spoofed the “meejah”. We also had the Situationist comedy of the likes of Spike Milligan’s ‘Q’ series.

Anyone who isn’t completely lobotomized by the MSM can probably see why that is, and what happens next. “We had a really good reconstruction of this animal in the 1980s, by Prof. Derek Briggs, who is now at Yale University,” said the paper’s lead author, Alejandro Izquierdo López, who was based at the ROM during this work as a PhD student at the University of Toronto.
“It’s not until now that we have the material evidence for these ideas. Now we know exactly what it was feeding on and how it was feeding.”
….
“One of the most surprising things was that each leg has spines — very, very tiny spines. And it’s subdivided into, like, 20 different parts,” Izquierdo López explained. “So imagine every leg is subdivided into 20 different small parts. And each of these small parts has four big spines and then has a lot of smaller spines. So if you combine one leg in total, you will have around 80 spines per leg.”
