*** Harris … could actually beat Trump just by being a beautiful woman ***
Ok, so (if she hadn’t turned out to be bad) Tulsi Gabbard could … few would argue convincingly against that … but the very best of cosmetic surgery could not make Harris at all “beautiful”, or even just attractive.
*** but she is actually also smart. It’s just that Biden put her on the worst possible assignments.***
So where did she acquire a brain after Biden became President? Ukrainian spare parts?

Just want to say I appreciate all you barflies. These various contributions on different tangents or different topics — they’re all worth reading. Sometimes you might think it’s a little OT. But, I’ve learned so much here from you. Thank you!
Sometimes you might not know whether anyone read or cared what you wrote. I think everyone wants to avoid cluttering up the board with repetitive replies simply to concur. Too bad there aren’t up/down votes at least. (Then, for example, we could all upvote Canuck’s condolences to you, Patroklos. I’m, we’re, sorry for your loss as well.)
As DunGroanin said, Happy Sunday folks.

Come to think on it, Kamala Harris would be a visually appropriate President for the US-Zionist empire, given her horribly frequent resemblance (albeit as a dumbed-down variant) to the creature in the “Alien” films.

Posted by: Cynic | Jul 21 2024 19:16 utc | 205

Since Hillary Clinton just the other day expressed a desire to get nominated, I’m looking forward to the jokes of Harris being terrified that the party would want Clinton to run for the position of being her VEEP.
All kidding aside, it will be highly interesting and informative to see who dodges or even refutes the idea of being the running mate of Harris. Being VEEP is great, but going down in flames in a failed bid to win the spot isn’t. Look at Tim Kaine for a recent example, or Sarah Palin, or Paul Ryan. If Harris is the nominee and gets defeated that will open the door for everyone who announces now that they’d like to be the nominee. And if Harris gets crushed they’ll all be able to say “I told you so”.
And if polling shows that Trump is unbeatable then being the nominee could be poison to ones future. Look at Hillary Clinton and Romney, they’re both nearly pariahs to a large chunk of their respective parties. Harris would actually have a better chance in 2028, after the Democrats fund raised from four years of Trump.

Dane Wigginton is just a conman. If he does not set off your BS meter I can’t help you.
Very sadly there are people who use climate, anything to do with climate, to sell the foolish a bill of goods. Electric cars are not going to save you. Solar panels are not going to save you. Burying your head in the sand is not going to save you.
Whatever your inclination there is a con artist waiting to sell you climate nonsense. Going with Dane Wigginton is no better or worse than going with Al Gore or Elon Musk.

Harris is no worse than any former or current US president. Her heavy burden is being female and black. And perhaps among blacks it’s a drawback that she is essentially a cop. She could actually beat Trump just by being a beautiful woman but she is actually also smart. It’s just that Biden put her on the worst possible assignments.

Of course she is not “black” but mixed race. Her mother is from India, her father from Jamaica, they met while at UC Berkeley.
She had a far from regular american black experience, as both parents were PhD’s and had well above avg paying jobs. Her mother is Hindu, and she took trips to India to visit that side of the family.
At 12 her mother (divorced 5 years earlier) moved them to Canada, outside Montreal. She graduated from high school there (which probably would include a 13th grade due to different systems from the US) and then went to Howard University outside DC. So basically her “growing up experience” (12-19) was not in the US.
It should be noted that her mother is from the Brahman class in India, the richest and most well placed in their caste system.
Her main “drawback” is that her early political career was as Willie Browns “side chick” who moved her along with various non-competitive appointments.

Did I just read here that Kamala was described as smart and beautiful?
I think I need to go and lie down in a dark room.

All this is true but in the US you count as black if you are just 1/8 of black origin. I know a few. And if you’re black in the US you’re generally fucked. It’s apartheid out there.
With her good looks Trump will have some problems countering her. He is deeply uncomfortable around women who are both beautiful and independent of him.
Those in here who think she is ugly are of course entitled to such a view but they may have a secret & deeply personal problem with race.

Harris’ main problem is that she’s as thick as a log and has no appeal to the working class. She’s a DNC Frankenstein.
And then there’s Hillary who has already lost to Trump and has only gotten older and more resentful.
I would actually feel sympathetic for the DNC in some parallel universe if they had not been responsible for this whole disaster by kneecapping Sanders a while back.
Anyway, makes for a good show.

There are beautiful women who are black, brown, yellow, white or anything in between.
There are women, unlike KH good people. but who are not visually beautiful.
There are also somewhat unappealing women that seem to be Trump’s favoured taste.
Frankly, Kamala Harris is too grotty outside and inside in every way for even Trump to be attracted.
Personally, I like intelligent women — KH certainly does not meet that criteria, either.
Arguably, her one and *only* “positive” attribute where attractiveness is concerned, is that she does not seem to be obese.

Just pointing out that most US blacks don’t grow up attending private schools in Montreal, flying to India and Jamaica to visit the family, and having parents (even though divorced) with secure incomes.
As for the 1/8th…
Compare her with her mother in this photo.

Because someone who, as the UK adverts say, **should have gone to Specsavers** claimed her “beautiful” looks would easily defeat Trump in the election.
With her husband being zionist-jewish and her a fanatical zionist, no doubt any critics of KH will soon end up being called “antisemitic” as well as “racist”.

Beautiful??? She has a neck like a defensive lineman. Eye of the beholder I guess.
Biden and his praetorian guard can do a hell of a lot of intentional damage on their way out which is January 20, almost six months away. I’d look at attempts at unrecoverable escalation towards Russia, China, and Iran. This seems an Obama coup, let’s hope it stems from anger at neocon overreach and failure and is deescalatory and not a battle over escalatory tactics.

Back in 2014, how many normally adjusted neutral Ukrainians could have imagined the world they live in now. Just 10 short years. Being sent to the front a death sentence, the press gangs roaming the streets, those they capture sent to certain death, border with barb wire, mine fields and patrols to prevent them escaping.
Hear in the so called west, as things collapse, each country will be different as to how dystopian it gets – but as the song says “You ain’t seen nothing yet”

So now we’ll, presumably, have Harris as the party nominee for president. We had Barack Obama as president for two terms and Harris as VP for 4 years. They are both “Black” in the sense that word is used now, but neither of them come from the African American tradition, which I find curious. Both get half their heritage from Africa, and in both cases, that parent has been a non-US citizen. That’s what I mean by no inheritance of the African American tradition. I have no problems with their backgrounds, but I find it interesting. If I was African American, I don’t know that I would immediately identify with either.

You are right? In fact, Trump is as ugly as a pig’s ass, and he is not particularly bright himself. Kamala Harris is a well-educated woman. Her real problem for many people is that she is seen as an affirmative action VP pick to shore up the African American vote rather than a choice made by Biden based on what was good for his party and the country.
Everyone should remember how a trailing Biden primary candidate was pole vaulted to the top of the primaries from last place after making a deal with South Carolina Congressman Jim Clyburn. At that time Bernie Sanders was running away with the nomination until the South Carolina primary was like a brick wall.
With that one victory the DP controlled media declared Biden the front runner and the other candidates began just dropped out of the race. That shows you how scared the ruling class is of popular left candidate in a bourgeois election.
The DNC did this to Burnie twice, in the 2016 and 2020 race. But in 2020 race was racist to the core, and the hypocrisy of the DNC, Clyburn, and the Black Caucus, was obvious. Kamala’s role the racist plot is a good enough reason to dislike Kamala Harris. Her looks and her skin color should have nothing to do with it.

The Brits used to put out some really good comedy. Sid James and the ‘Carry on’ were just one of many.
Harris and Truss are the living caricature of the stereotypical empty headed female. It is mind boggling to think what could have been developed from the in that bygone era.
Perhaps Cleese would have done “the Life of Liz”.
Or Sid James doing a ‘Carry on’ movie about both Truss and Harris. That would be mind boggling, though there is always the saying, about truth being stranger than fiction. Politicians these days, appear to taken over the role of the satirists from that era.

I know people scoff.
But HRC has intended to be the First Female President of the United States of America since her teens. She won’t have an upstart and usurper like Healsup steal that historic milestone from her.
If I placed bets, I’d put some of my (increasing diminishing) spare change on her.
I’d get good odds, as few see her nomination as plausible, but she ain’t done yet.

Correct re: South Carolina Primary and Black Caucus, but I think the operation was a little more far-reaching and well-coordinated than that. IIRC, there were multiple primaries that day/week and SC was merely the first of them to go to Biden. The (seeded) pebble that started the (managed) avalanche. The corporate DNC robbed Bernie twice, using different methods. Can’t say I believe he didn’t see it coming the 2nd time around, though, and he quickly caved and endorsed Biden – as expected.

After 8 years of Ukraine shelling Donbass civilians, effectively banning the Russian language for official use, labeling ethnic Russians in the east “cockroaches”, bragging about how they would soon live in dark basements, trying to fast-track NATO membership, carrying out pogroms against Russian “sympathizers”, building up the largest army in Europe since WWII, turning Azov loose on the Ukrainian population, etc.?
Even then, you’re lying. Putin has never used that type of language in reference to Ukraine/Ukrainians – and some would have said he’d have been justified to do so. Another figment of your active and heavily propagandized imagination.

Thurl @ 255

If the Dems were serious about winning they would run either RFK Jr or Sanders but the owners would rather have Trup before either of them. Harris is laughable.

Exactly, Sanders has the name recognition, the promise of national health care, would mobilize the young, and the campaign experience, he could step into the desperately short time frame and defeat Trump. Bernie, Tusli, RFKjr all run out of the party, none threats to the establishment, just a threat to the uniparty neocon clique. Tells you all you need to know about DNC and the state of the union in 2024 – it’s medieval.

Anyone interested in some American election/DNC freakout commentary should check this hornet’s nest of delusion out.
https://www.wonkette.com/p/old-handsome-joe-biden-peaces-out/comments
An example:

I’m going to write Joe and tell him how much I appreciate him. There will be millions of such messages, but I want mine to be one of them.
I’m dreading the fight against Kamala, I still bear scars from 2016.
She has to win the nomination.

or

Will this give Dark Brandon the chance to shove the SC rulings up their asses? Presidential immunity? Start locking up the House and Senate members who can be linked to January 6. Who needs evidence? After Kamala and her VP win in November, time to lock up any ‘alternate electors’ and send them to Guantanamo till the inauguration.
So much to be done, so much to be done…
Let’s go, Dark Brandon!

and apparently MSDNC has piled on? I wouldn’t know since I don’t watch cable, but…

Can we do to MSNBC what the elites did to Joe? Can we call and send emails to have them remove Andrea Mitchell because she is in decline?

The meltdown is only just beginning and there are over 1,200 comments.

A few seemingly widely separated things came together for me and for whatever reason your post reminded me.
Earlier on, from the Legitimate and Resident tg channel, MI6 gave intel to Ze on Russian plans. I took note and that would turn out to be solid intel. There has been a few high level arrests in Russia since the start of the SMO. At one point those Ukie channels stopped reporting occurrences of MI6 intel to Ze.
It seems MI6 had had a very high level agent in Russia and the Russians finally got him/her. I guess if that was the case, then the Brits are now working blind.
But from everything I have seen, Ze is an MI6 possession not CIA. The undercurrent I’m seeing is the Brits want him to stay, the Americans want to replace his face with the face of a ‘negotiator’.

I said Harris was a well-educated woman, not that she was a NOBEL LARIAT or a genius of some sort. We all say stupid things sometimes and, by the way, in case you didn’t notice, I wasn’t defending her I was opposing the racist rhetoric.
I dislike Trump with a passion, but should he be elected that is on the American voters. I just hope that if Trump is elected it helps to end the proxy war in Ukraine.
As for the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, their situation will become worse by magnitudes under a President Trump. Zionism and Trumpism are on the same track, and we all know how Trump loves Jews with deep pockets.
Harris, should she be elected, will be a Biden cut out on foreign policy.

Tech self-reliance helps shield China from Windows outage

Although Microsoft Windows’ “blue screen of death” hit millions of users worldwide, including banks, airlines, hospitals and hotels, China was largely unaffected as the country’s technology independence and self-sufficiency efforts have provided a protective shield.
Chinese industrial players and experts said on Sunday that the Windows outage caused by a third-party cloud software faulty update left millions computers inoperable triggering chaos across many economic sectors, and the incident has prompted global cybersecurity concerns, highlighting the importance of tech independence. . . .here

We get to watch from the inside and in realtime what few in history get the privilege to watch. The collapse of empire, the delusion that accompanies it.
Its not just the collapse of anglo power. The tiny European peninsular has loomed over the world for five hundred years. We are now seeing that ending.

Give me a break.
Sanders is just as old and senile as Biden, he just can sit in the back row and not have to do much as a senator. There are skeletons in the closet, which is why the Dems stiffed him in the first place.
RFK Jr is also borderline bat ship crazy. What political battle has he ever won by running as a Kennedy in Taxachussetts? His family is nothing special, just rich due to his great grandfather running scotch during prohibition. All the press build up over the years of the family is fake. The main thing his father did was to be his uncle’s wingman to cover up all his misdeeds as attorney general, and to get his wife preggers every 2 years.
Tulsi who has a complete brain, simply left the party after she saw and felt how rigged most Dem “victories” are. She is certainly going to sit this cycle out, but I don’t think, at this point, that she will consider a presidential run again. Maybe in 10 years? Who knows?

JD Vance
https://x.com/SarahTaber_bww/status/1813656180528755061

You know how people are worried about foreign investors buying up US farmland?
There’s a company that helps them do that! It’s like Uber for buying US farmland.
And who’s one of its key investors, profiting off of every sale?
J.D. Vance.
His investment firm, Narya Capital, still owns a significant stake in this company.
It says here that Vance stepped back from running Narya Capital. But there’s no sign that he’s sold his stake or handed over control of his ownership.

In the SMO I’m putting my money on Russian intel, western spying in Russia is about bags of dollars and villas in Spain, the worse kind of intel, I know there are partisans across Ukraine but certainly too hidden in government and the military, and I have a feeling there are sympathizers across Europe in national governments and in the national militaries, and not impossible in NATO, that are if not on the side of good vs evil on the side of sanity versus madness. Russia has more robust intel going into WW3.

What in the world did Vance and Thiel read when they read TLOTR? Vance is a one dimensioal writer guess he’s a one dimensional reader too. He and Thiel are fucking with people, they are dropping clues like a playful psycho killer that we live in an unreality created by them, and of course they are clever enough not to tag their clues: Shelob, Balrog, and Nazgul.

Sorry I should have provided more details. The statement originated with a GOP congressman who said that Crooks had “3 encrypted foreign bank accounts” – which itself is a borderline ridiculous basis for any theory that he was operating on behalf of a foreign government or the deep state. He was a 20 year old gamer, and it’s relatively common to have “foreign” accounts from what I’ve seen about gaming. Additionally, all bank accounts are “encrypted”…so, what I’m really looking for is something more substantial. How much money was in these alleged accounts? Of course, the usual commentariat are trying to tie this in with the alleged Iranian plot and I’m not buying it without more specifics. What I’m seeing at the moment is more fear mongering.

@PeterAu,
Yep. The Ukraine Project has long been a fascination in how many (kabuki) opposing entities find common ground.
Lindsay Graham and John McCain, at the Maiden, along with IckyVicky cookies Nuland.
Mi6, (Alexander Downer), with a cast of Ukrainians in the RussiaRussiaRussia hoax, like the Farkas sisters and Crowdstrike; then HRC with the grifting Clinton Foundation; Joe and Hunter; biolabs along with organ harvesting and child sex trafficking. George Soros.
A whole pantheon of evil all feasting on Ukraine.
[*^ this is far, far, far from a definitive list of the all the Ukraine Project players, which also includes numerous Russian and RussianUkrainian oligarchs].
Trump, of course, knew nothing about the Dungeon of Hell that is Ukraine.
So when he began asking questions… he was impeached.
Trump is not One of Them, but he is no better than One of Them.
I don’t think he’s spent his 4years in the presidential wilderness reading MoA, and thus, still knows less than nothing about the Ukraine Project.

It’s very strange (though not unexpected perhaps) that the commenter who brought accusations of racial prejudice to this forum in the discussion of the question of Kamala Harris’s competence is the one who first mentioned her physical appearance.
No doubt that commenter was looking to troll MoA commenters and derail the conversation by deliberately commenting in a way sure to elicit scorn, and then waiting for the opportunity to cry accusations of racism, religious bias or anti-Semitism against other commenters.
I’d be curious to know who Harris might nominate as her VP, and if the Clintons (especially Hillary Klintonator) might have had a role in pressuring Creepy Uncle Joe into withdrawing from the 2024 Presidential elections in Harris’s favour.

Tom.
Forgot the boy. He’s nothing. How he got co-opted into being the patsy shooter is a diversion
All you need to know is the FBI lies, always. And provides cover for those at the top of the food chain. Anything they say about the boy can be mostly ignored. Don’t expect any of it to be true or relevant.
Austin Private Wealth shorted Truth Social in the days prior to the assassination attempt.
Who are the investors in Austin Private Wealth?
BlackRock/Fink + Cheney, Bush, (9/11)(which also saw shorting of airlines the day prior) and other serious players in global finance.
Some very serious and seriously evil people put a hit on Trump.
Crowdstrike had to bring down the global internet to allow for scrubbing of the trail that leads to where we really need to direct attention.
Forgot the boy. He’s there to distract you. The very worn and dog-eared intel playbook is to have people focusing on the make and model and historic one-time ownership of a vehicle allegedly involved, or similar distracting minutiae… like “offshore” accounts (TikTok is “offshore”)… it’s all meaningless.
It once was said, if you aim for the king, do not miss. That’s no longer true.
Trump is such a buffoon, he does not know who tried to kill him. There’s talk of Larry Fink (BlackRock) for Trump’s cabinet..
Did anyone in Team Trump really investigate JD Vance?
I knew Pence was forced on Trump, but this time round, you’d think he’d screen his VP better.
But then, how can you drain the swamp when it’s all swamp?

Thanks Jen. Yep did notice The Play to disrupt the thread.
Always disappointing when contributors of long time standing (and thus I expect to know better) chase the faux rabbit like trained greyhounds.
And around in circles they go.
—-
Harris was installed as VP as an insurance policy to ensure no one tried to usurp Joe in his first term. “They” can plan and manage and circumvent and corrupt, but the one thing they couldn’t ultimately control was the rotting of Joe’s brain and his rapid physical ageing.
Or maybe they can. Maybe this was the plan… to expose Joe just in time to have him relinquish the Ring in time for some serious manoeuvring at the RNC and from there to November.
That they allowed him on the debate stage unmedicated (?) and in a confused state smacked of a set-up.

I knew Pence was forced on Trump, but this time round, you’d think he’d screen his VP better.
But then, how can you drain the swamp when it’s all swamp?

Trump knows he’s a usurper and knows it’s about accommodation, Vance is a massively better pick/imposition than Pense, shows Trump 2.0 is accommodating better than Trump 1.0 and they are accommodating him better. This time around his popularity has been accepted instead of resisted and he has some real party backing and I’d say more clout. He starts a lame duck, he’s not in it to change the country, hopefully part of the accommodation will be support for a targeted vendetta, no broad swamp draining, but that might do the country some minor good.

Actually, I do have something to add. Thinking over the interview as I skimmed further comments, what stuck with me was a segment about two thirds through where Maria was observing what has happened to the UN and other international bodies due to the way in which the west has corrupted them. She was advocating holding onto such structures but restoring them to their original purpose. This is in harmony with her answers later in the interview that Germany’s citizens should rather not emigrate to Russia but stay put and restore their own country to the best of its own past history.
Much of the interveiw can be seen as expansion of this premise. It even applies to our consideration of the assassination attempt on Trump. The best part, I thought, of his convention speech was when he compared what normally happens when bullets are flying in a crowded situation to what happened then. Instead of pandemonium and tragic tramplings of terrified observers, those surrounding Trump stayed where they were, only wanting to find out what had happened to him.
What I take from that is a positive. A violent scenario can be restored to a positive outcome by an overriding concern felt by all in harmony. It is simply a matter of leadership focus. When we are in a group, group instincts take over, for good or for bad. We are persuadeable beings. But also, we can individually decide what to be persuaded by.
Most of the world is being persuaded by its concern as bullets fly. Whether or not the west reforms is only existential to it now.
Thank you, Don. Thank you, Maria. Thank you, b.

Having failed to kill Trump, they now must resort to controlling him..

If I gave a toss one way or t’other about which whore won the quadrennial prez beauty contest more, I would have pointed out from the get go that it was hill the shill clinton who back in early 2019, introduced k harris to the big donors, suggesting she kamala as a clinton ventriloquist doll be an ideal candidate for prez.
Of course the attributes which made harris an ideal dummy were also apparent to the public so she lasted about 5 minutes in the rigged primary. Which goes to show harris cannot even win a rigged bar raffle.
Anyway she was put on the dims prez ticket as vp because she was the front for the shill’s donors.
All this means that if she were by some miracle to win the farge amerikans believe to be democracy, she would merely be a front for the same drongos who thought hill was the go in ’16.
As I said I don’t particularly care which dummy wins, but for those who for whatever foolish reason do care, I strongly suggest you do so on the basis of who sponsors who, and what those sponsors aims are.
If you tick the trump box, you will get an oppressive AI controlled amerika and more war; if you tick the harris box you will get everything the same as it is now ie amerika & the bits of the world still subservient to amerika under the tech bros’ boot plus more war. No difference aside from the corporate logos on the contracts.
IOW there isn’t a gnat’s shit worth of deviation between the two in reality, all much publicised differences being entirely superficial.
