Wasn’t Crowdstrike the company in charge of cybersecurity for the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 Presidential elections? The year when the Klintonator was supposed to win? Crowdstrike blamed Russian interference when Hillary Rodham Clinton failed to achieve the Presidency.
Wonder whom Crowdstrike will blame for the bug in the security patch.

Thank you for the link!
Freeman says a lot that is very insightful. His difference between “rule by law” and “rule of law” was very good (and is also emphasized in the video description).
About Westphalia and so on I want to point out how the EU is or can be seen as an extreme denial and abrogation of such ideals. I think this is an important fact, if nothing else to illustrate how easily such things are turned against themselves “from the top” and subverted by powerful interests far removed from ordinary people in order to cause repeated problems.
Without the EU and its multiple false “good intentions” it seems extremely unlikely that German arms would again be at Russian borders. Without the unchecked and undemocratic “blanket authority” of the EU it likely would have been far too difficult (or anyways much more demanding) for the US to corral “Europe” against Russia.

Summary of military operations in the Sahel from 1 to 16 July

The armed forces of the Sahel Alliance, which includes Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, are fighting terrorists and separatists, gradually liberating their territories. Every two weeks, the Africa Initiative will report on major events in the Sahel theater of operations.
July 1. The army conducted intensive bombardments of the heights held by terrorists near the settlements of Doumbala, Lanier and Huarocuy in Banwa province (Boucle du Muhun region in the north-west of the country).
July 6. СорванаAn attack by jihadists on the city of Djibo in the north of the country was thwarted. Aerial reconnaissance earlier recorded a cluster of armed militants on the outskirts of the city. Recognizing the actions of the military, the militants retreated towards the city of Nassumbu, where they were hit by aircraft. An attempt to attack militia positions near the village of Namsigua was also unsuccessful and was thwarted by the Air Force.
July 12. Militants of illegal armed groups attempted to drive cattle captured in the town of Bonza in Banwa province , near a tributary of the Muhun River. They were attacked by soldiers of the 18th battalion of the rapid reaction Forces. 400 cattle were returned to their owners. The militants are dispersed.
July 13. The terrorists carried out an armed attack on the village of Moncuy in Boucles du Mouhoune, after which, having discovered the drones, they retreated to the outskirts of the village and hid behind trees. They were destroyed by an air strike . The number of militants has not been established.
July 14. The second group of terrorists from among those who carried out an armed attack on Monkui repeated the attack attempt, but later retreated into the forest to a small settlement. The house in which they were supposedly entrenched was discovered by aerial reconnaissance and attacked. Several people were killed.
Niger
July 3. Niger’s Defense and Security Forces (SDF) announced that they have killed more than a hundred terrorists after an attack in the village of Tasia Tera (Tilaberi region in the west of the country) last week, where more than 20 soldiers and one civilian were killed. The militants are tracked by reconnaissance drones for signs such as the use of two-and three-wheeled motorcycles, rapid movement on dirt roads, and moving to settlements that are poorly controlled by the troops. Their elimination is carried out with the help of attack drones, as well as by ground units. Earlier, the SBU tracked the survivors of the terrorist attack in Tasya militants who retreated in the direction of the village of Kokoloko. 30 terrorists, their warehouse and vehicles were destroyed.
July 5. About ten militants who participated in the attack on an army depot in Tasia were neutralized by the Defense and Security Forces in the settlements of Bankilare and Dargol in the Tera department (Tilaberi region in the west of the country). In addition, 22 other terrorists were arrested in the town of Meana and in the vicinity of the settlements of Tomare, Dargol and Kokoru in the Tera department. A truck carrying large cargo to terrorist locations was intercepted in Chava in the same area. According to the army, these are terrorists who participated in the shooting in Tasia and abuses against the population of Hama, Kakasobon, Gurmatchindi and Bolgaje. The operation took place after receiving information from a local source who reported the presence of militants in the weekly market in Dargol, and checking it.
July 8. The Katiba Hanifa group, affiliated with the JNIM ( Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin, an al-Qaeda-affiliated group*) , claimed responsibility for the ambush against a mixed patrol of FDS (Gendarmerie, Guard and Police) between the village of Tamou and the town of Se, in the part of the region that borders Burkina Faso.. As a result of the battle, a serviceman was killed, 10 others were injured. The military repelled the attack, eliminating several terrorists. We managed to capture their vehicles and communication devices.
July 9. During the raid, the SBU arrested nine terrorists in the Bankilare, Torodi and Tunga sectors (Tilaberi region in the west of the country) and seized their material property.
July 10th. Seven soldiers were killed in an attack on a National Guard unit (GNN) in Tebaram, in the border area of the Tilaberi (Niger) and Tahoua (Mali) regions, where the Islamic State of the Great Sahara ( EIS, formerly EIGS) operates.
July 10th. Niger’s Department of Public Services (DSS) operatives raided the residence of a suspected terrorist in Gbeganou district, a suburb of Minna, the capital of Niger state. A firearm and a significant amount of cash were found. The suspect was responsible for the financial and logistical support of the terrorist group.
July 11. 69 people associated with the Boko Haram group * laid down their weapons and surrendered to the military authorities. Among them are both militants and their family members. Operation Lake Sanity 2, aimed at eliminating militant camps, brought the first significant results.
July 11. At least six terrorists were killed by Defense and Security Forces near the village of Abdou Gangani in Niger’s western region of Tilaberi.
July 11. Several hundred prisoners, including terrorist leaders and Islamist militants, have escaped from the Kutukale high – security prison, located less than fifty kilometers from Niamey, in the Tilaberi region. сбежали The escape was preceded by a mutiny. The prisoners broke through metal gates, barbed wire fences, and trenches. SOB units were alerted. A curfew has been imposed in the city of Tilaberi. The prison houses high-risk criminals: leaders of the terrorist groups Boko Haram, ISWAP, EIS and JNIM, former army officers convicted of State crimes who participated in the coup attempts under the former regime of Mahamadou Issoufou, as well as some civilian and military officials.
July 14. In the village of Mulle (Serkin-Yamma commune, Madarunfa department, southern part of the Maradi region), an attack was carried out by militants who entered from Nigeria. They stole a hundred head of cattle and captured two local residents. Soldiers of the Defense and Security Forces (SOF), involved in the operation “Hedgehog Hunt” (Faraoutar Bushiya), were alerted, clashed with bandits and recaptured cattle while trying to withdraw militants across the border.
HAD
July 1. 23 people were killed during armed attacks on the villages of Jigibombo in the rural commune of Doukombo and Socorokanda in the rural commune of Diallassagou in the Bandiagara region of central Mali. The militants looted villages and set fire to a public medical center.
July 2. The Director of Information and Public Relations of the Malian Armed Forces, Major Colonel Suleiman Dembele, said that the number of direct attacks on the country’s Armed Forces in June, compared to May, decreased.

Biden has already stepped down I reckon. They need to have an open convention though to force through the chosen new candidate (or they would be stuck with Kamala).
They are sorting it out (and the next month of campaigning plans which need to be in place before we can be told or DNC voters can “choose”)

Earlier on Friday, Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich was sentenced to 16 years behind bars in a maximum-security prison for spying on orders from the CIA. According to the Federal Security Service (FSB), he acted at the behest of the United States, collecting information constituting a state secret about the activities of a Russian defense company. This shows what happens to you when you set foot and step into a no-go area and become a collaborator of criminals.

They might give FM a whirl but it won’t wash. CrowdStrike wrote and executed a system upgrade containing a spelling/grammar error which should have been detected before it was approved.
There are many classes of business which are/were prosperous and can afford to fund a Class Action – airlines being but one example.
Cloudstrike’s smartest option would be to plead Stupid and start negotiating terms of settlement BEFORE the lawsuits begin. They’ve already apologised, which is a good start for an amicable settlement.

Posted by: Hoarsewhisperer | Jul 20 2024 14:18 utc | 23

There are two ways Biden can “resign”: (1) quit the election race for November (2) step down as POTUS. The difference is crucial: while (1) leaves every succession scenario open, (2) will automatically transfer the presidency to Kamala Harris, making it difficult to keep her out of the race.

I dont need to wade thru tons of IT mumbo jumbo to determine the culprits , it all looks Greeks to me anyway.
There’s a very simple rule…
When China accuse 8NA, er, G7 of malicious attacks…
I presume G7 guilty until proven innocent,.
When G7, especially [five liars] accuse
China of the same ..
I presume innocent until proven otherwise.

Solar irradiance metrics (e.g. sunspot numbers) keep ascending, possibly to heights not seen since 1991. Our star has a somewhat irregular, elevenish-year cycle, for which I’ve yet to find any explanation…
Just another cosmic confluence converging next week. Time to fold myself a tinfoil hat and dust off imponderable old Aleister Crowley tomes. On Wednesday, Satan addresses a joint session of the US Congress — possibly meeting with Genocide Joe beforehand, Covid permitting. On Monday, Secret Service misdirector Kim Cheatle shows up, before the same body, to explain why she still has a job.
With tomorrow (Sunday) being a full moon, tensions approach the breaking point. Push comes to shove; an irresistible force meets an immovable object. And yet meanwhile, as this great rock (3rd from the sun) meets a hard place, cyber-constellations quiver because the original Russiagate fiasco factory (Clownstrike) tripped over its own shoelaces (allegedly). Nobody knows how long it will take for all the king’s horses and all the king’s men to put Humpty Internet back together again. Even the Olympics is irreversibly screwed up.

Denk@1432
Last night I accessed two separate video accounts depicting the massive rainfalls occurring simultaneously in several Chinese provinces. Three Bridges Dam opened up a set of floodgates and innumerable downstream cities, villages and farming districts overwhelmed with the overflow. On a per capita national basis, the Chinese have more reservoirs than any other country.
Two takes: Messing with Mother Nature for political and economic ends can readily be overdone by highly centralized regimes. Second: The U$$A has long developed WEATHER CONTROL mechanisms and greedily uses them to destabilize other nations which are not “on message”. Weather control measures are heavily employed here in the States with a concatenation of chemtrail assaults, as well as the Gokona facility in Alaska and probable satellite systems dedicated to that particular form of warfare.
Thus, the situation in China has even developed to the point where drought areas have been flooded. So there are two barbs to this hook: (1. China is overdoing their water-control systems and (2. The U$$A is engaged in weather war against perceived enemies and has been doing so since at least 1977.

It occurred to me that the US may be doomed to an inferior, isolated status globally – if China and Russia master diplomacy. Russia is doing very well on this but China still has a ways to go.
The fundamental problem is that the US can overthrow, threaten, bully, bribe or invade but not much more. Real peace making requires a strong President rather than the succession of weak figureheads it has been cursed with. The days of Nixon and Kissinger are over. The intense partisan culture of the US means that there is always a political veto somewhere, along with overwhelming pressure to lie and dump inconvenient treaties at will. No credibility plus a fading dollar plus an ineffective military will freeze the US in foreign relations.
Trump would like to do otherwise but being one step ahead of impeachment constantly will stop him – which is sad for the world and the nation.

aristodemos | Jul 20 2024 15:51 utc | 38
Do a little reading. Do tou have any idea of severity of periodic floods in China before China began flood mitigation projects? The dams help greatly in this regard, reducing the severity of flooding, then there are designated flood out areas and so forth. I remember reading years ago that in one flood alone, might have been in the 50s or 60s, 500,000 people died.
Your idiocy about US weather control or flood mitigation being the culprit… seeing stuff like that, it is hard to discern what substance fills the cranial cavity of some people at times.

Peter the Great westernized/European Russia and there is no culture gap between Russia and the so called west, the only difference being the church of Rome and the Church of Constantinople.
Between the west and China however there is a massive culture gap. Two vastly different civilizations. That culture gap is the breeding ground of racism and distrust especially amount the superior white anglo European side. A culture/civilization as old as Mesopotamia but continuous.
Ancient writing still the same as that used today – no archaeology linguist required to decipher it. It says a bit about the continuity of that civilization and culture.

Esotericists know, the end of the age of Pisces is now. Age of Aquarius is starting.. we’re between two ages. Almost half the people have the old Piscean orientation & miss it, the other half have the new Aquarian orientation. These are birth pains. All will be much better than most imagine. The human family will become a peaceful loving family. The Creators of all life, including all the planets in our solar system know what they’re doing. They have a Plan for us all & it can not be aborted. Huge changes are in store for humanity. Hold on to your hats! They’ll be way too fast for some & way to slow for others, but they are coming & they will be good – from the standpoint of the great good, those who want real justice & high integrity government leaders who are by & for the people.

First, Trump’s regular Secret Service detail was put on vacation or reassigned. Someone from the Secret Service Field Office in Pittsburgh was the agent in charge. The head of that office is Kevin P. Rojek. According to his bio,
Rojek was serving as chief of staff for the bureau’s Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch. Rojek joined the FBI in 2002, when he was assigned to the Norfolk Field Office to investigate counterintelligence issues. In 2010, Rojek became supervisory special agent of the Norfolk Field Office’s cyber and global counterintelligence squad.
In other words, ZERO experience running protective details. Maybe he had some that is not noted in his bio, but I think that is unlikely. A Secret Service agent with experience running details normally is proud about listing his or her experience.
Second, the Secret Service failed to conduct a full advance inspection of the site.
Third, the Secret Service failed to lockdown the buildings that were used by the shooter to attack Donald Trump.
Fourth, the Secret Service failed to have a “color-of-the-day” to distinguish friend from foe.
Fifth, the Secret Service failed to deploy a drone to provide overwatch of the event site. Such a drone could have provided live video feed and would have showed an unauthorized person on the roof.
Sixth, Crooks was identified as a person of concern at least 45 minutes before Donald Trump took the stage. Secret Service failed to keep Trump in a secure location until the nature of the threat posed by Crooks was sorted out and neutralized.

CrowdStrike management has been repeatedly tested for responsibility and have always been found to be beyond culpability. Their action was directly attributable to this rigorous testing.
They will now be tested again. Ingrained habits are hard to break. Let’s see how it goes.

i go back to william gruffs observations – crowdstrike = cia…. that goes for any ”security provider” that has any relevance whatsoever.
it is bad enough the social media networks – google, facebook and microsoft all have backdoors to them for the cia, but of course these ”security providers” are directly connected to all of this as well..

Indeed, China is making progress diplomatically (Iran and the Saudis) but they aren’t helped by the “Wolf” attitude sometimes expressed. The whole South China Sea thing needs diplomacy and compromise on their part.
I think the US can never ‘fix’ the Gaza/Hamas situation as Congress is under Israeli occupation and Israel is politically stuck with fanatics holding veto power. But a humanitarian atheist power might do better, if they’re so inclined.
If the US has been at war nearly every year of its entire existence, I don’t see how it manages in the emerging multipolar world. Maybe….selling weapons but after Ukraine, they look like they’re 10 or 20 years behind on that. “It’s gonna be a bumpy ride”.

Trump’s remarks have also fueled skepticism about the US’ so-called promise to Taiwan island. Many people on the island are also angry, viewing these comments as akin to a gang breaking into someone’s home, forcing them to buy expensive items, and charging extortion payments for the so-called protection, Wang Wu-lang, secretary-general of the Cross-Straits Peace Forum, told the Global Times on Wednesday

https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202407/1316221.shtml
William BLum

For more than 70 years, the United States convinced much of the world that there was an international conspiracy out there. An International Communist Conspiracy, seeking no less than control over the entire planet, for purposes which had no socially redeeming values. And the world was made to believe that it somehow needed the United States to save it from communist darkness. “Just buy our weapons,” said Washington, “let our military and our corporations roam freely across your land, and give us veto power over who your leaders will be, and we’ll protect you.”
It was the cleverest protection racket since men convinced women that they needed men to protect them, for if all the men vanished overnight, how many women would be afraid to walk the streets?

PS
Somebody should do an autopsy on BLum,

I don’t think he will step down. I think Biden will be the nominee until dying from natural causes around November 1st. 2024 has been an ongoing dumpster fire and I expect it to get even crazier as the year progresses. I don’t think Biden’s defective brain agree to withdraw and I doubt that his administration will go through with Article 25.
I know that puts me at odds with almost everyone, but that’s my call.

Nixon could go to China because everyone knew it was not the beginning of “peace” but a strategy to isolate the USSR. And it was a belated strategy at that, coming about a whole decade late! It strikes me a nice counterfactual history, what if story, could be about Kennedy’s visit to Beijing on Nov. 22, 1962.
Nixon was not a peacemaker and the “strength” of presidents is not even an issue. President of the US is a job title for Chief Operating Officer of Imperialism, I think is the way it should be made.
If weakness mattered, everyone here would be saying, vote Biden. But I’m not into chaos agent of acceleration nonsense. (De la Cruz for my protest vote, as of the moment.)

@48 Toby
What you are saying with your astrological bs is that human beings have no agency and that the creator left us completely at the mercy of the stars.
That is not a loving creator. That is a monster. You need to examine what you are saying.
My viewpoint allows for men to have agency but we are a part of an oversoul that bends towards truth albeit slowly but surely. Hegel calls it “world spirit” and it is both simultaneously borne on the back of human agency but from a drive for union with the divine that is hardwired and unconscious. It can be intimated but through the process of a spiritual dialectic and this passes through a dark night.
Your worldview leaves me and people like me out of the equation. Perhaps you are OK with this to leave people behind. I am not.

–All the men would never vanish over night. Women did meed men to protect them, at least until the revolver.
It is a silly “thought experiment” that throws reality put of the window. The biggest threat to men and women historically was evil men, and the only people who could stop evil men were other men.

There are many very well informed computer people on this site – I would appreciate your input. The Crowdstrike disaster came a couple of weeks after the US banned Kapersky Cybersecurity from operating in US (as far as one can make up because their name sounds Russian.)
Not difficult to see conspiracies where they don’t exist, but the speed with Crowdstrike held up their hands and cried “Sorry fellows – silly mistake!” makes one wonder if there wasn’t perhaps more to it.

There was also a microsoft cloud breach about a month ago. As always, they claimed all is well, but it often actually is one of those unknown unknowns, where breaches and viruses or hostile programs can be inserted, sometimes for years with no one noticing until the reason for using the exploit manifests.
The vectors of attack can be many. For instance, Disney was hacked about a week ago now. May seem unrelated, but ot could be a hacker used their favorite and most often used tool, social conditioning, to target a Disney employee to worm through to crowdstrike.
I worked computer security for a while, using a program based on Kaspersky, and the best hackers in the world are in Scandinavia and Russia. Cold climates produce computer jocks.

My longer essay on the hack subject was lost in cyberspace.
I dont feel like writing it again, but tl:dr
Microsoft cloud exploit was found about a month ago.
Disney was hacked last week.
In the world of hacking, social conditioning is 90% of work, and every time there is an exploit or hack, there is another vector of attack by brilliant hackers, the best being from Russia and Scandinavia.

@ Montreal | Jul 20 2024 19:57 utc | 65 with the Crowdstrike question
It is unlikely external cyber attack because it only effects Microsoft, not Mac or Linux
Below is a quote from The Register with some detail

Speaking to BBC Radio 4 this morning, former CEO at the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, Ciaran Martin, concurred with the current explanations for the outage.
“[CrowdStrike] have a range of products under this brand they call Falcon, and their Falcon sensor update, which a lot of companies will use to detect threats and so forth, seems to have been misconfigured in such a way that it wrecks Windows.
“And so if a company is using both CrowdStrike and Windows for its operating system, it seems that they get what people in the trade call the blue screen of death, and Windows doesn’t work, and that’s why airlines aren’t able to process, presumably, why Sky [News] hasn’t been able to broadcast. It’s also why, just simply for times and reasons, it seems to be emerging first in Australia.
“These complex systems always operate interdependently, so [for] the cybersecurity to do its job, the cybersecurity tool still has to be able to interact with Windows, so companies spend a lot of time, money, and effort on both sides of that equation, making sure that they’re compatible when you’re deploying these things. You have to make sure you don’t destabilize other parts of the network, and most of the time that works. Occasionally, it doesn’t – it appears that that’s not the case. It’s very rare for it to be as serious as this.”

I am reading the expected testing of the changes did not occur for some reason yet to be divulged.

@ psychohistorian | Jul 20 2024 20:18 utc | 68 who should have read a bit more so he could add
This problem is requiring hands on with most affected machines and doing some really techie key entry in Safe Mode that is difficult to walk through with someone over the phone.
It may take weeks for some organizations to touch all their machines.
Crowdstrike technology will be localized for large organizations and I expect the company to go under because of the lawsuits over this.
This is a good example of how fragile the architecture is of the Intertubes and its user machines. Will any learn from this?

Trump describes the shooting at his RNC speech, where he felt sting on his ear and put his hand up and it came down and it was covered in blood and then he gets down, we have all seen it, except we saw a ton of pictures of his hand as a fist and not as a fist and there was no blood on it, there was no blood on his white shirt cuff, white shirt front or anywhere else except for the ear and the two streaks on his face.

various comments
Flooding is on the increase everywhere. Extreme rainfall events are happening with increased frequency. News media don’t cover, have no idea how to cover. Warmer air holds more water leading to more forceful release. Climate deniers of course will deny until after they are flooded out themselves. Or after they are flooded out twice.
Dramatic flooding video is very dramatic. And hard to evaluate. Some places do have severe flooding as a sorta normal thing. Is the flood you are seeing washing away what has been standing a very long time? Are you looking at things that never would have been built if flooding was routine?

It seems that, for whatever reason, very few of us MoA barflies recall that Crowdstrike is the company that ran cybersecurity for the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 Presidential election year. After Trump won the election, claims of Russian hacker interference were put forward by Ukrainian-American journalist Alexandra Chalupa and the pile-on by US mainstream media outlets that Russia had interfered in the elections began from there.
Some time after Zelensky was elected President of Ukraine, the then US President Trump phoned him and asked him to look into the possibility of Ukrainian interference in the 2016 Presidential elections. Trump apparently mentioned Crowdstrike in the phone conversation and that th er company had a server in Ukraine.
One of the founders of Crowdstrike, Dmitri Alperovich, is or was a Senior Fellow at The Atlantic Council. He had some association with Bellingcat founder Eliot Higgins on a digital project at the Council. Barflies may recall that Bellingcat came into existence a day or so before the Malaysia Airlines MH17 Boeing jet crashed in what was then eastern Ukraine, in July 2014. Higgins and Bellingcat have since been diligent in pushing the narrative that the plane was felled by a BUK missile system operated by Donbass fighters who managed to spirit it over from Russia just to shoot down the plane and then send the system back.

Agreed.
Yet China uses unwashed gravel in construction where thre CS and many western countries uses washed gravel which looks nice but is about 15% less strong in cement than unwashed gravel because the ‘chits’ )(grit) get taken out which strengthens the gravels so Chinese dams are 15% stronger than their Western counterparts.

A friend had one and I was very impressed by the games it could play, that was in comparison to our Spectrum 16k .
I guess most know enough about Windows update framework. Any computer I get hold of gets firewalled from new, only absolutely necessary connections. I never update anything unless for a very important feature. Have run a Win 95 computer continuously like that without trouble. Eventually it is hardware that fails. If it works don’t mess with it mentality. Android is more closed, rooting and knowing what is going on is really for programmers, so I just accept any Android device as weak, lock down all privacy and telemetry possible, firewall everything except necessary, de-Google as far as suitable. So far that has been good. With a latest Win 11 computer could not even initiate from new without connecting or else have to mess around in boot as the usual tricks to get out of S mode did not work. In other words for most people, if you bought that computer and had no internet, you had no computer. Just nuts.
As on topic of computers, another topic many might not be aware of and that I just researched – data archiving. In short standard DVD, CD, HD , SSD are not suitable (range of roughly 5 to 20 yrs depending) . Just saying for those who think their storage is indefinite on those. Should do own research on that. Quality BDs (not necessarily Mdisc) are probably best choice now.

I spent most of my adult life in hi tech, working for all the biggies. Let me splain.
In 1983 when I joined, a software cycle included development, testing, and 3 releases:
— Alpha release, to internal groups for testing. This would last at least a month. Bugs found; bugs fixed.
— Beta release, to external customers who were willing to take some risks (in a limited environment) to get a first look at the new features. This would take one or two months. Bugs found; bugs fixed.
— Final release to the world. More bugs found; patches released
So between the time dev said product/feature is ready and the time the product shipped three to six months would elapse, and LOTS of testing would happen.
Initially, I worked for a mainframe company (Tandem) that shipped once a year or once every two years.
When I went to work for Apple in 1989, they had 3 releases a year, and I thought “what a sweatshop.”
Now, basically, beta is the final release and most of the testing is automated. Some products are updated as often as every two weeks….producing just in time disasters.
Most of QA (quality assurance) has been cut to the bone and then outsourced.
No conspiracies needed, just capitalism working as intended.

On the day before the rally, Crooks spent several hours shooting on a rifle range at the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, of which he was a member. Sources have told Fox News that Crooks used a DPMS AR-15 chambered in 5.56mm. His father bought it in 2013.
On his last morning on Earth, Crooks bought a ladder at Home Depot at 9:30am; investigators don’t think he ended up using it. In the afternoon, he bought 50 rounds of ammunition.
Investigators are reportedly still uncertain about Crooks’ specific motivation. His internet search history indicates he’d not only examined Trump’s campaign schedule, but also the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago, which starts on Aug 19. He also sought images of both Trump and President Biden. Officials have told federal lawmakers that Crooks had a hatred of politicians in general, and didn’t have a distinct political profile or ideology of his own.
What will be the next damning detail to drop?

I keep wanting more reportage of why Crooks wasn’t shot before he did. Any more on the SS sniper that took him out?

I think win7 was the last microcrap system you could control. From experience, if you’re looking into the wrong thing and keeping the spooks out, they just raid you and take the friggin computer. No I keep it simple – not that I’m up to much more – keep the dipshit low level scammers out and fully aware anything I do in the internet is under big brother’s evil eye.
But to get to the goodies, the information highway was shut down in 2013/14.
I was a latecomer to the net, but worked on the principle that anything you wanted could be found. And that was very much the case. You wanted to look into something that looked like government dirty shit, with a bit of persistence, you could pick up the shitty tracks they had left behind.
Now some stuff has simply been removed from the internet. Other stuff, it wont come up in any search engine even under a perfect search phrase. You have to already have the web address to find it.

That America foments Forever Wars to “feed itself” has become self evident.
America is now feeding upon itself in a final Forever War among its own people.

Any more on the SS sniper that took him out?
From what I have seen and heard the last week, there were two pairs of counter-snipers behind trump, looking at the stage they were on the far left and far right buildings or barns (of the three buildings). It was one of the snipers on the right side that shot Crooks, not those two that appear in the many videos on the left barn roof.
These snipers were alerted to reports of someone on the roof (initially seen standing up using binoculars) but rules of engagement has it that without sight of a weapon they could not shoot. In fact it was hard to see Crooks as he was down on the low far side of the roof, with feet almost in the gutter when seen by people and reported. It was only a very short time after that he began shooting, and then because he could be seen his head above the apex of the roof they hit him.
Why wasn’t he seen shot earlier?
Looking at the building he was on, Crooks was on the far right end, near the car park side, and hidden behind two trees between him and the counter-snipers on the barn roofs behind Trump. People saw him because he was moving to his right to get out from behind the trees so he could get a line of sight on Trump. He then crawled up toward the apex to take his shot. The two counter-snipers closer to him still had vision issues because of the tree just obscured him, but the other pair had a clearer shot and took it because Crooks had started shooting.
The videos show the counter-sniper moving his tripod and looking up trying to see where Crooks was but he never took a shot. That is why that vision looks strange. But they were not the snipers who killed Crooks.
Crooks was the only shooter. all shots (5 or 6) were on a direct line from him. The first one missed Trump a second hit his ear. a third stuck the man in the left bleachers, a fourth hit the hydraulics of the crane with the speakers to the right of the right bleachers, the fifth/sixth shots stuck the two injured in the right bleachers.
And lastly I have seen a close up photo of him dead on that roof, with head wound and dried blood across his cheek/face with legs of three police/ss standing close around him. Very grim stuff.

The oldest human work I have come across (all for certain original) is a mesolithic flint scraper, still sharp. That doesn’t reeeealy count maybe. The earliest written items are coins, one from just after Abd al-Malik’s reform in silver, a cut quarter of a coin, is as clean as when first minted. That is from around 750 AD . I love Renaissance period also, though I don’t read scholarship too much, prefer musical instruments of that time (particularly flute). A nice example:

What is a shame is the amount of documents known lost over time. Great libraries on occasion. Anyway that coin might have been Greek silver, I’m not sure where Damascus obtained the silver. Later coins are Almohad and Nasrid, the last being just before your document was printed (around 1450 maybe). Many try to ‘claim’ the Renaissance period, but I think it was a convergence of many influences, including Arab learning . Apart some architecture, most Arabic writing and presence was soon erased in Iberia, some say was incorporated into the Salamanca school. They still keep the sword of Boabdil though, who was husband of Aixa.
