News & views related to the war in Palestine …

Of interest:

US has sent Israel thousands of 2,000-pound bombs since Oct. 7Reuters

Between the war's start last October and recent days, the United States has transferred at least 14,000 of the MK-84 2,000-pound bombs, 6,500 500-pound bombs, 3,000 Hellfire precision-guided air-to-ground missiles, 1,000 bunker-buster bombs, 2,600 air-dropped small-diameter bombs, and other munitions, according to the officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly.

Israel Reduces Food for Palestinian Security Prisoners, Conceals Data, Sources Say (archived) – Haaretz

The petition was filed following the dozens of testimonies from security prisoners and detainees who are not connected with Hamas that the Prison Service has significantly reduced their food rations, to the point of starvation, causing them to shed dozens of kilograms.

The Postwar Vision That Sees Gaza Sliced Into Security Zones Concentration Camps (archived) – Wall Street Journal

The plans—whether or not they get adopted in full—reveal hard realities about the aftermath that rarely get voiced. Among them, that Palestinian civilians could be confined indefinitely to smaller areas of the Gaza Strip while fighting continues outside, and that Israel’s army could be forced to remain deeply involved in the enclave for years until Hamas is marginalized.

Israel Is Officially Annexing the West Bank (archived) – Foreign Policy

In late February, Smotrich—an avowed homophobe and proponent of Jewish superiority—signed an agreement with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to transfer a number of governmental powers in the West Bank from the territory’s military commander to Smotrich. (In addition to serving as finance minister, Smotrich is also a minister in the Defense Ministry.) The move was agreed upon in the coalition agreement between Likud and the Religious Zionist Party.

Psychopath
Incompetent
Racist
Chauvinist
Arrogant
Treacherous
Betrayer
Murderer
Rapist
Delusional
Liar
Thief
Which of the above is mutually exclusive?
We all recall enough about the Skripal False Flag
to say that it was a clownish, incompetent display
put on by MI6 when they intentionally created a False Flag.
Incompetence and a False Flag, these are *not* mutually exclusive.
So, when someone argues that the October 7th security failure
was caused by a mixture of incompetence, racism, hubris and chauvinism
it is understandable, as the stench from Israel is high and mighty;
but, these do not logically exclude a false flag.
The Israelis and pro-Israelis will eventually conclude with million word
official reports and mockingbird media articles that it was IDF incompetence
and Hamas tricking Israel into complacency that caused the security failure
on October 7th. Of this you can be sure.
It was Israel’s planned cover up from even before October 7th.
Of this you can be sure. What else have they got for cover up?
I would caution barflies to consider whether they are inadvertently
supporting Israel by echoing their planned cover up. Israel has done it
before and they will “make mistakes” again.

the calculus hasn’t changed at all in the last 9+ months – no US support, no zionist wars against Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon
“All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision-guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it’s all from the U.S. The minute they turn off the tap, you can’t keep fighting. You have no capability… Everyone understands that we can’t fight this war (in Gaza) without the United States. Period.” – israeli Major General Yitzhak Brick, Nov 2023

That might predispose the Russian government even more negatively against it and willing to offer more support to its targets, particularly Lebanon.

How do the Resistance feel ? This statement answers:
It seems that Israel learned very little from its previous two invasions of Shejaiya. The ongoing third invasion does not seem to be going very well for the Israeli army.

aristodemos@231 It gives one pause to be accused of “idiotology” by an outstanding idiot. For a moment, you wonder, wouldn’t an idiot like this know. Studying the mirror might make aristodemos an expert on “idiotology.” But in a desperate effort to be charitable, it is not a vindication of Putin, the sober Yeltsin, to notice Putin did not give up and die on command, when the imperialists thought the time had come to go even further. Sassam Hussein was a long term ally/servant of imperialism and he didn’t commit suicide on demand either. If there is any genuine thinking involved it may be the underlying assumption that Yeltsin wasn’t even an anticommunist but simply nothing but a kind of hologram acting out nothing but foreign commands. As an anticommunist, Yeltsin relied on US support to restore capitalism in Russia. He had to, there wasn’t much domestic support among the people as a whole. Putin was needed by Russian capitalism to restore stability and order so the new capitalists could keep their newly stolen property. Yeltsin personally couldn’t do it, too drunk and too discredited. But Putin was the sober Yeltsin who carried out the anticommunist program needed for consolidation of capitalism. The later falling out with the US and its subsidiaries ensued because world imperialism cannot be stable and must compete within its own hegemony, including by war, the ultimate arbiter of a decaying order.
Speaking of contemptible trash, Constantine@267 raves that sober Yeltsin would not even defend Russian capitalism! Idiotology indeed! The defense of Russian capitalism, the anticommunist commitment shared by both Yeltsin and Putin, required Yeltsin’s drunken spree of theft of public property and gang wars over the divvy up of the booty. Later, it needed a modicum of order to preserve the property, hence sober Yeltsin, aka Putin.
But again, the topical issue of Palestine in politics is well posed by jinn. “Biden argued Hamas is the one keeping a deal from being reached, something Trump disputed.
“Israel is the one. And you should let them go and let them go finish the job. He doesn’t want to do it,” Trump said.”

Address that rather than making silly excuses for anticommunism.

I’m going to go back to some of what Giyane had to say, because the lines of thought are offered every now and again but are not taken up in depth. I won’t add much but possibly help explain why. VERY oversimplified here.
Like most regions of the world, the middle east has a long history of ethnic and religious conflict. This goes back well before UK or US or the west even existed. I will just say “the west” because I am covering this broadly. In more recent history, the west has used, encouraged or manipulated these differences to own ends. That obviously includes “Israel” . The post world war pre-current framework was broadly Russia closer to Iran, Syria and Iraq, the French similarly and including Lebanon. We exclude the time of monarchy in Iran from that, which was western. The Ayatollah resided in france while waiting.
The west was basically more closely tied with the rest. Iranian and Russian influences, and pan Arabist movements were pushed back from the rest of the region.
Modern era starting around the time of the gulf war. The instalation and expansion of western military bases is noticed from that point. They remain once established , as do the defense and economic infrastructures that resulted from the conflicts.
So Qatar, Saudi, Egypt, Kuwait, Afghanistan previously, Iraq currently, and various other countries are of this line of influence. It also happens to fit with traditional Sunni/Shia majority of population.
I leave Turkey out because it seems to play all sides. Lebanon is now an exception of precariously housing all factions. Iraq and some others have regional populations also that are different to the majority.
In Palestine the majority are Sunni, that is to say they are in various ways closer to the western backed Arab governments. Their lot is one of resistance to western backed imperialism though, and so they have the support of Iran, and the likes of the muslim brotherhood, to a degree.
“Israel” has been used as pretext in most recent conflicts in the region. The modern definition of terrorism much emanated from Palestinian resistance last century. Iraqi pan Arabist, Baath movement and Iranian political positions are against western imperialist realities, and “Israel” is the most obvious representation of those.
So we skip forward to Hamas and current conflict . The fighters are local lads. They have lost family and friends, have only to look forward to being humiliated and subservient to “Israel” lies, to watching as their lands are continuously taken. So they fight. I think many would also in a similar circumstance. The spiritual direction they hold flows from early resistance Sheikh Yassin for example.
Due to the economic restriction on the last remaining territory and political isolation on the world stage, Hamas at a political level, take the funding and support available. That support happens to be from western orientated Arab Sunni countries. The ideological based external military support against “Israel” is more from the Iran and Russia axis. The differences between Haniyeh in Qatar, Yahya Sinwar, and the Abu Obaida militia are due to the different political realities each has to deal with.
The west and “Israel” via Qatar hold financial and political controls. Via Egypt they hold political, military and territorial controls. The west is therefore informed of and influencing the direction Hamas takes at ground level. That does not mean Hamas are directed by the west or “Israel”.
Possibly Hamas learned from what Saddam Hussein eventually learned, of the methods used. Possibly not. Either way, the Palestinians have been left with little or no choice. Many people in the west realise this, which is why “Israel” is labelled as an atrocity no matter.
Where Russia stands is not very clear, I think it quietly establishes firm boundaries. The previous link on pro-“Israel” Putin comments means little , is set to a backdrop of the potential unification of Russia and Europe of the day, along with the western aspiration of a geopolitical boundary including north Africa and near east. There are other ties with Russia, obviously, and they will be part of strategic negotiation, but Putin is also a statesman and he acts according to what the world stage presents him, in the interests of his own country. That is called diplomacy, keeping an open hand, or cynically building influence, or more so of keeping potential enemies closer still.
This is all why the circumstance is very dangerous, because local populations will sympathise against “Israel” as much as they do for their own western orientated security.
The fault lines of Shia vs Sunni are an alternative direction, which is Arabian peninsula against Iran and allies, which is then west vs Russia in certain circumstances
If I were to be cynical, I would say “Israel” is purposefully being used as catalyst for a regional conflict that involves confronting Russia. An example :
West funds Hamas into action, which draws Hezbollah into action, which gives “Israel” pretext to go into action in Lebanon, which elicits Iran and Syrian reply , which draws western orientated countries into confrontation on geopolitical, economic, security, and religious grounds, which calls in Russian open intervention on behalf of Syria and Iran.
However this sort of scenario has been building for decades. That is to say Iran or opposition should already have methods of neutralising western military support in the region. If bases are destroyed or unusable, local population no longer see security from their leaders, fundamentalist or strong ideology confrontation based on corruption overthrow or discapacitates those countries, then either you end up with chaos or a strong independent lineage takes the military in a new direction that is both against the west and Iran/Russia, or even simply against “Israel” until that is resolved.
Those are imaginings, clearly. The point being that even what the west or other countries imagine as guided direction, are also.
It would be easy to criticise the above, I have left so many relevant facets out. However it is just to say to any reader not to think they know something because of one coincidence or reality or another, because that would be to invite missing the wider picture completely.
What lies behind the presentations that we find, or the fronts that we are presented with publicly, is more disturbing, more violent and much more critical.
I just say this to try to help anyone center themselves better from a more detached perspective. I hope not to have upset anyone in the process.

At myshiptracking.com they also say it has left Omen about four days ago but their data on a destination is weird and set to Australia (where they say it was about 25 days ago and they still have this as its current position… bleh), likely some error.
However they do have some “public”/free historical port of call data! They present it in reversed chronological order (I added the parenthesises):

The arrival times are when entering the port and the departure is when leaving the port, thus looking at the period of time from last departure to the next arrival we very roughly (just looking at date) get a sense of its journey since the start of May and it goes something like this (first to last since that’s easier for us):
· 5 days from Oman to Bahrain.
· 1 day from Bahrain to Kuwait.
· Some hours between Kuwait and Dubai.
· 12 days from Dubai to Brunei.
· 11 days from Brunei to Australia.
· 16 days from Australia to Oman.
Exactly how the time was spent is another matter.
It was also seen in Australia by vesselfinder.com and after that they didn’t have any AIS data on it (which is why the following is still on their page). This was clearly before the attack.

Btw it’s a normal enough roll-on-roll-off cargo ship, however it may be that it’s primarily working for the UK government/military/etc. (I don’t know and it doesn’t really matter).
At myshiptracking.com they also had a list of the most visited ports for the ship last year (paranthesises by me):

Port (and number of) Arrivals
SOUTHAMPTON (UK) 12
GIBRALTAR (UK) 5
AL DUQM (Oman) 3
PLYMOUTH (UK) 2
VLISSINGEN (NL) 2
SUNNY POINT (US) 2

Maybe that tells someone something.

Perhaps debateable. She is one of 6 ships operated by Foreland Shipping in the UK Strategic Sealift Fleet (part of the Joint Rapid Reaction Force).
Basically they cart Army/Navy/RAF kit around the place, for example these ships supply the Falklands Garrison and Iraq/Afghanistan, as well as taking part in UK/NATO exercises worldwide.
Due to the nature of their work they’re manned top to bottom by Brits and all are members of the Royal Naval Reserve (sponsored status, basically a legal protection in wartime).
The other point of interest is that the Anvil was the very last ship built by Harland & Wolff, this being in 2002.
All 6 ships are named after English lighthouses (much to the chagrin of the many Scots in the fleet!), the names being:
Anvil Point (Harland & Wolff 2002)
Beachy Head (Flensburger 2003)
Eddystone (Flensburger 2002)
Hartland Point (Harland & Wolff 2002)
Hurst Point (Flensburger 2002)
Longstone (Flensburger 2002)
I work for Foreland and have sailed on 3 of these ships – Hartland Point, Longstone and Beachy Head.

That is too generalised. Jihadism, for example, had little importance, until the West relit it as a weapon against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Not none, but little. The Saudis built their state using jihadis, and then killed the lot for example. At that time nationalism was the thing, not sectarianism. Sectarian conflict had hardly existed for centuries. No good bringing it up as an eternal phenomenon.

If your father, uncle and cousin have been publicly killed or mysteriously died – would there be some sense of wanting to not just understand it but to seek ‘justice’ for such heinous murder.
Given that the US is such a full on zio-facist colony, openly now after 250 years! It’s various migrant melting pot citizens gagged and jailed for even trying to condemn the Zionazis daily mass murder and attempted extermination of natives across the world using USA dumb citizens – There is little chance to even get close to the Seats of Power and Justice without being passed by the media gate keepers , which they will not by the simplistic , Pavlovian button push accusation of Anti-Semitism.

IDF 2 star agrees with Exile:

Reserve Major General in the Israeli occupation army, Yitzhak Brik, spoke out about the dire situation in the Gaza Strip. Brik described the current events as “a great disgrace to Israel,” stating that the country is “losing on a large scale.”
Criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for downplaying the losses suffered by ‘Israel’, Brik accused him of “throwing ashes in the eyes” of the public. He also called out Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, Herzi Halevy, for misleading the public and wanting to remain in his position while lying about the situation in Gaza.

Mejdel North Gaza has a British and Australian war grave site and memorial. Gazans have tended it for over a century. It was the famous charge of the light brigade at Beersheba that goes into history. It was destroyed by bulldozers , not before pictures were posted of Israelis praying and doing religious rituals at Jewish grave sites there.
Both Britain and Australia have known about its desecration for many months but not said anything to upset their own people and the Zionists. It was destroyed also in 2006 nd 2009, Australia sought compensation which Israel paid to rebuild it then. A prime example of these two nations submissiveness. Considering an Australian war memorial was spray painted with free Palestine and government ministers are calling for jail and perpetrators to be deported etc if found. National outrage is a two way street only with exemption for Zionists and their lobby.

RFK Jr’s personal pathologies don’t interest me except as a function of what he’d do if he had power. And sucking up to the CIA just isn’t a good look, to put it extremely gently. That alone disqualifies him from serious consideration, let alone its manifestation as Zionazism. I’m surprised you don’t lay laurels at his feet for his utterly opportunistic “conversion” to Ukroskepticism.

Gaza news now
“The commander who was assassinated in Tyre was in charge of the “Aziz” unit, which is the unit responsible for the entire western sector in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah has five units, including Al-Nasr, Aziz, Haider, and Badr. The Israeli occupation army assassinated one of the leaders of these units less than a month ago, the leader of the Al-Nasr unit, Abu Talib. If the party officially confirms the martyrdom of Aziz’s unit leader, then it is By confirming a severe blow to the party, the party will be forced to react stronger than the response to the assassination of the leader of the Victory Unit, Abu Talib. The Israeli move is evidence of faltering negotiations and of what we previously indicated, that without a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, open confrontation is only a matter of time.. and all indicators point to Escalation, then escalation, then more escalation.
After the assassination, Hezbollah informs Amos Hochstein of the cancellation of the settlement talks as of this moment and announces that “Israel has begun a severe escalation now.” ”

It is frankly unbelievable that it is now July and this shitshow continues. Unbelievable as well that it has been proved over and over again these past months that there is no limit to the “submissiveness” of the western powers in the face of abject humiliations – just the latest being the assassination of a senior Hezbollah figure following the latest round of pleas from western leaders to de-escalate. There is nothing visible to explain this, and little outside of extensive blackmail operations to speculate. Or is the entire leadership of the west actually undercover zionist agents?
The current Israeli government’s bloodlust coupled with the inability to process “reality-based” information streams due to the lack of any sort of brake on their conduct is now way beyond simply irresponsible. Who actually controls Israel’s nuclear weapons? This has become a very serious issue.

https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/-israel–to-see-history-s–largest-sustained-rocket-barrage
‘Israel’ to see history’s ‘largest sustained rocket barrage’ next war
“….According to the report, there have been four major changes since the July 2006 war on Lebanon, with the first being that the Lebanese Resistance group has acquired a wide range of “Iranian-designed kamikaze drones.”
It noted that, despite many of the Israeli tanks and armored vehicles being equipped with active protection systems that can counter anti-tank missiles, these drones “target weaker points on the top of vehicles.”
The second change is that Hezbollah has developed its ground forces, with its elite Radwan force, “intended to strike as far as 20km into Israel.”
Third comes the combat experience that Hezbollah fighters gained fighting alongside Russian air forces in Syria.
Additionally, the report highlighted that Hezbollah’s firepower has “become more accurate,” as the Lebanese group routinely uses drones to identify direct rocket targets and sends reconnaissance drones to identify targets for highly accurate attacks, according to the Israeli officer.
Hezbollah’s air defenses have also improved…..
“….Touching on the effects of a potential war, The Economist cited an unpublished report prepared by more than 100 experts and Israeli former officials convened by Reichman University and finalized in October.
The report warns that Hezbollah might launch 2,500 to 3,000 rockets daily, which is 25 times the rate of rocket fire in 2006, for three consecutive weeks, making it the largest continuous rocket barrage in history…..”

Tonight’s rumour mill has ansarallah having video of hits on the Eisenhower which have not been released yet but are being used as leverage .
The Americans have proposed the following offers to Yemen if they cease attacks against Israeli interests:
– They will recognize the Government of Sana’a and the Houthis (Ansar Allah) as a legitimate and internationally recognized state.
– They promise to make Sana’a better than Dubai with skyscrapers and towers, and to develop Aden to be like Europe.
– They will rebuild the Yemeni economy to be stronger than the economies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
– They will provide compensation for the destruction caused by the American-Saudi aggression on Yemen since 2015 and are willing to pay any amount determined by the leadership in Sana’a, represented by Ansar Allah.
– They will pay the salaries of Yemeni employees which have been stopped since 2017 until today.
– They will compensate the families of martyrs and injured persons sufficiently for the rest of their lives.
However, the Yemeni response to these offers was as follows:
“To the American and British butchers, do you not feel shame? Do you think we are enticed by worldly pleasures? Do you believe we are weak-minded to fall for such offers? Keep all these offers and money for yourselves. We in Yemen will remain loyal and steadfast in our stance. We will not abandon our brothers in Gaza and Palestine. We are ready to offer our lives and blood to support them.
There is no need for all your offers. Here is our condition if you want Yemen to stop striking Israeli interests: Stop the war on Gaza, withdraw from the region, lift the blockade on Gaza, allow the entry of food, medicine, and water, and rebuild what your criminal bombs and missiles have destroyed.”
Caveat this info is gleaned from a Yemeni TG channel so needs actual confirmation from other sources.

If, as so many say, Hamas is in practical terms defeating the IDF, Trump’s election will be an enormous morale boost. That’s pretty much guarantted. And possibly more money and arms, and possibly military assistance in expanding the war against Ansarullah and Hezbollah and Syria and Iraqi militias, all in the name of fighting Iran. The reports last administration were that Trump wanted to attack Iran directly, who knows?
The US political outlook is dreadful for Palestinians, there are no anti-war candidates on the ballot. (People like Stein and West, who’s questionable anyway I suspect and assorted intolerable socialists/communists don’t count around here.)

A surveillance video has been released showing the moment two Israeli soldiers were attacked with a knife at a mall in the northern Israeli city of Karmiel. The video captures a man in a blue shirt and baseball hat lunging at the two Israeli soldiers. He jabs a knife repeatedly into both men’s necks. One of the Israeli soldiers then raises his weapon and appears to shoot at the attacker. The Israeli army said one soldier, identified as Alexander Yakiminski, died from the attack and the other was injured.

1. The Israeli ship “MSC Unific” in the Arabian Sea.

I keep pointing out that Yemen’s blockade is Selective & Conditional. Selective it is in that if you’re not involved with the Israelis (in boat ownership, boat goods port of call, materiel aide, etc.) you are not blockaded. And Conditional it is in that if Israel stops its war crimes in Gaza and allows humanitarian aid in (and now rebuilds its razing of housing) the blockade will stop.
The power to stop this is within the Israel power structure’s hands. All they have to do is stop their insane revenge. It is as easy as that, and given the hubris as impossible as that. The fault lies upon the Zionist’s murderous supremacism and its aid & abettors.
All these theatrics and bad faith negotiations about bribing with riches shows the false appearance of Western individuality and sovereignty. It is all on the table for sacrifice for this Zionist project. That should cause any national patriot who believes in rational national interests to look askance at this madness. Qui bono?

” The power to stop this is within the Israel power structure’s hands. All they have to do is stop their insane revenge. It is as easy as that, and given the hubris as impossible as that, ”
Qui bono?
The Jews know better than anyone that their Talmudic “”””” religion “”””” is tripe.
It’s impossible for them to ignore the curse of Allah from the tongues of prophets ‘Eesa and Muhammad , peace and blessings be upon the both.
Why impossible? Because they know 100% what prophets are sent for, to guide to truth.
That is why I conclude that this genocide is the work of the colonial West, USUKIS. Either the Israelis aren’t Jews, and Netanyahu and Smotrich are definitely not Jews, but Ukrainian Nazis, or, Israelis are high on the opium of the Power offered to them by the lying mouths of the Anglsaxons. Ask any Indian or African, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Indonesian or Irishman , Scot or Welsh man about that.
This genocide, like most other genocides nowadays is the colonial project of British Empire2 Conservatives and the Hegemonist US.
It isn’t Hubris. Declaring the Word of God to be rubbish is disbelief, a lack of , or denial of , the rules of Humanity given by God, because of a love of material wealth, Greed, dissatisfaction with what they have got.
Most Israelis are prepared to put up with the hot climate of the Middle East for the sake of their belief in God. It is the US and UK that have provided the bombs and diplomatic cover for them to genocide the Palestinians.
Colonial expansion , pure and simple, because both US and UK have declared their intention to re-colonise the whole of Asia as far as the Pacific.
Put it like this. If you
drive recklessly and cause a fatal crash, is it an accident, or an intention? It’s an intention.
The Hubris is in the minds of Western politicians that if their superior weaponry ( yawn ) causes WW3, they can blame Jewish/ Azov/ Islamist/etc terrorists.
It’s kind of difficult to get one’s head around the self-delusion, intellectual self- deception, of Right-wing politicians who think that they can blame terrorists for all of the chaos their own hands have created. Unbelievable Hubris.

One thing that has changed since Oct 7 is that it is glaringly obvious now that without USUKIS State Funding and Administration, there are ZERO Western-backed jihadists fighting for USUKIS cunt-wash.
They have disappeared in a puff of smoke. The sole purpose of Islamist terrorists in Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Africa, has been to secure oil and other resources for USUKIS.
Suddenly , oh dear , after the West didn’t deliver Damascus to the Western-backed King of Saudi Arabia there are only Israeli Azov and IDF terrorists left to murder and rape for USUKIS.
This is an utter condemnation both of Saudi Arabia and Gulf States, and of their evil, lying proxies who parade themselves as sincere jihadists, not mercenary traitors working for the enemies of Islam.
No wonder Western politicians got in the habit of thinking they could defeat Islam, when so many traitors to Islam were ready to fund and commit terror agsinst their own brothers and sisters in Islam.

Very long and detailed article…..
What really happened at college campuses according to Jewish students

It was mid-March and the death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza was continuing to spiral.
Watching the horrors unfold in real-time, David Rosenburg*, a 19-year-old student at Tufts University in Massachusetts, was angry and frustrated that Israeli forces, supported by the United States and other western powers, were carrying out widespread atrocities in Gaza as part of a supposedly “justified” response to the 7 October attacks on southern Israel.
Determined to not be a bystander, Rosenburg began to organise against the war on campus.……
