Message to America
by Sahid Bolsen … extract

At this point America can only do one thing
to recover any credibility on the global
stage and that’s to actively aggressively
stop Israel. Just cutting ties isn’t going
to be enough at this point you need to:
impose a no-fly zone over Gaza impose more
sanctions against Israel than you imposed
against Russia you need to demand immediate
IAEA inspections of Israel’s nuclear facilities
you need to revoke the American citizenship
of every Israeli dual Citizen and seize all
Israeli assets in America and Europe you need
to take Netanyahu to the ICC yourself join
the South African case at the ICJ ban all
Israeli media treat the Israeli flag the same
way that you treat the Nazi Swastika designate
the IDF as a terrorist organization and Israel
as a state sponsor and actor of terrorism
and if that doesn’t do the trick then you
need to launch a shock and awe campaign
against Israel the same way that you did
against Iraq the same way you did against
Libya and Afghanistan and so on and bomb
them back to the Stone Age because that’s
what you do isn’t it? isn’t that supposed
to be the American way?
but we all know you’ll never do that and
because we all know that you’ll never do
that we all know that you have never meant
a single word that you said and that’s why
no one is ever going to listen to you again
the only thing that you can possibly do to
salvage yourself is something that we all
know that you will never do so you’ve been
found out you’ve been exposed your cover
has been blown the audience for all your
speeches about democracy and Liberty and
human rights are filing out of the building
and we’ve turned off your microphone and
you’ve passed the Rubicon of hypocrisy at
this point there’s no going back now the
world is moving on knowing what we know
and no matter how much you repeat you’re
completely bankrupt narrative you can’t
make us un-know what we know about you
America is a train wreck that collided with
a dumpster fire and you’re trying to put
that fire out with oil and plutonium and
everyone wants to get as far away from you
as possible!

The Romans
The Romans had 30 military bases along their “limes”, and the Club of Heirs of the British Empire has about 40 military bases from Scotland to South Korea through Diego Garcia.
This military-financial empire, The West Empire, is the last version of the empire of the Romans, and it is the most colossal and deadly empire the face of the earth has ever seen.
Power in this empire (1963/67/1997-) is in the hands of a coalition formed by
1) the imperial party
2) the zionist party
3) the corporatocratic party and financial system in private hands
4) the media bubble
The four members of the coalition have reached a great degree of integration; but there are nuances and discussions on how to dress and clothe the imperial Beast.

I have little faith that the western controlled ICC will act.
“Colombia’s president calls on the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister over the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Gustavo Petro said in a post on X on Friday that Benjamin Netanyahu will not stop the genocide and this implies the need for an arrest warrant.
The Colombian president also called on the UN Security Council to establish a peace-keeping force in the Gaza Strip.
Last week, Petro announced his country was severing diplomatic ties with Israel over the regime’s onslaught in Gaza.
The South American country has also expressed readiness to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel, at the International Court of Justice.

Just saw someone say elsewhere ‘Israel is an evil nation that should not be supported in any way.’
In the ‘old’ social media before smart phones were ubiquitous and BDS was becoming a thing, in the 2000s b4 2008 GFC and soon after, in ‘white western circles’ and Israel was slaughtering Lebanese everywhere, and Palestinians wherever they could, I was very much saying the same thing online. Almost no one agreed and the aggressive pushback I got was horrendous, the denial, the msm gullibility, the excuses and intolerance and pro-Israel bigotry was off the scale. No matter how much we agreed on other matters this Zionist evil Israel thing was insurmountable. Maybe one person on a discussion forum of like minded souls can I recall supporting my position but not openly.
So I suppose there has been some progress in ‘thinking’ albeit still insufficient. Because the person who just said the above is similarly still being hounded and attacked for saying what they said.

Does Egypt have any incentive to do what they are told?
Jordan gets a huge bag from the US. $10 billion over 7 years including cash payments of $850 million per year: https://oig.usaid.gov/node/5656
But Egypt just gets $1.1 billion in funding for the military from the US. At most Egypt gets $300 million in economic aid this year from the US. If the US can’t take away much money from Sisi, why not let the Egyptian military take a part of Gaza while Hezbollah steps up attacks? Israel will then have to tell the US to give Egypt lots more money. Way more money then a small gold mine can produce.

Today
Today, of the great ape family of the Miocene, the gorilla, the chimpanzee, the gibbon, the orangutan and ourselves remain.
If we add to our chimpanzee brain, trained to live in small clans, literature of fantasies that arouse identity and we add new doses of narcissism and fanaticism … Then … we have what in archaic language of the Mediterranean of the 1st century would be called “satanic”.
Anyone who reads carefully and lucidly the old Aramaic pamphlets, for example the Book of Deuteronomy, will see that the Original Mental Software, Zionism 1.0, is exactly in archaic language of the 1st century a satanic cult.

I still think two side-by-side whole states could be fashioned but only if the original butterfly-like configurations from the 1940’s are scrapped. Given that nobody seems interested in this notion, I guess it’s not on the table. So the dead end will remain and injustice continue for it is the very unworkability of the current paradigm that has created this unending naqba for seven or more decades and counting.

“The very actions the Nazi used against all of their prisoners – nations, religions and groups – in camps, Israel is now doing against the desperate Palestinian people.”

Hyperbolic generalization unsupported by the facts.
Some years ago a then-79 year old holocaust survivor was interviewed on Pittsburgh radio about how “Dr Mengele stood by her bedside and treated her.” She made no mention of being chained to bed, naked, in diaper.
She has collected a lifetime of reparations for her suffering.
Will those Palestinians be given the same sort of justice?
Anne Frank died of typhus in a German hospital. Surely, given all the press Anne Frank enjoys, mention would be front and center if she had been strapped to bed, naked but for diaper.
Regurgitating propaganda bits seriously erodes credibility, at the same time that it causes to emerge in the public mind completion of the comparison: if holocaust survivors received reparations (and the perpetrators were severely punished), so should the survivors of the holocaust taking place before our eyes, and its perpetrators must be brought to justice and severely punished.

That’s been my worry. Discussion of the fictional event turned rather quickly from whether it actually happened to what message someone was sending via Pepe…
Meanwhile, I care about conscientious reporters like Pepe. People lose their lives dedicated to reporting, whether carefully or not. I don’t think Pepe is a bad person, so he always has the potential to grow into something even better, after a mistake like this.
But is was a bad mistake for Pepe’s reporting, because now people don’t know what to think of the next report emerging from such methodology. Reporting methodology, not Pepe’s character, is the issue here. In these times, people who rely on a select circle of confidential sources — reporters like that are sadly vulnerable. Sy Hersh being the next example: great reporting all his life, pure crapola lately.

Literally, I’ll never read or listen to him again.

Well, I’ve enjoyed his coverage for years; first started reading him at ATOL (Asia Times). But he rarely provides detailed references or multiple source confirmations. Mainly he has been a leader among journalists showcasing the emerging multipolarity movement which is largely a narrative exercise; so I always regard him principally as a storyteller. And turns out he was on this epoch-changing story long before anyone else.
In terms of that EMP reportage: I initially critiqued it both here and on Karlof1’s site for lacking sufficient confirmation and detail to be put out there. IMO. Now Pepe is saying that even though the details don’t add up practically speaking, still the message is what matters. OK. Maybe that works for some. But without better sourcing and confirmation I can’t even tell what the message is: that Russia has military superiority over the West? Or Iran? Or what?
I don’t care because it is too speculative. But I shall continue to enjoy his articles, though for years now I mainly just skim them – the title is often the main course.

http://www.chinaview.cn/africa/20240511/9d9c9097bd9547cfbb09879ab8aa9d05/c.html
“The urgent application follows the escalation of Israel’s assault on Rafah, which poses extreme risk to humanitarian supplies and basic services into Gaza, the survival of the Palestinian medical system, and the very survival of Palestinians in Gaza as a group,” the Presidency said.”
The last request, Rafah was a “possible” area of “humanitarian risk”. Now, it is an established fact. The ICJ may take 2 weeks to respond to filing (5/10 filed), but I sincerely doubt it.

Below is my cultural anthology report from the weekly gathering in support of Palestine in front of the local county courthouse with one way traffic and 3 travel lanes.
I lasted an hour in 80+ degree sun with about 70 others holding signs and responding to the megaphone chanter and a couple of drummers. As before it is a young/old group with few in the middle but maybe even young/old today….and lots of ethnicity…more than population percentages.
I learned that this group does not physically mix with the OSU college efforts and think that is good because more “thousand cuts” and students are focused differently…..not that they couldn’t use my God Of Mammon speech but they have to learn like we all did and hopefully they absorbed the Occupy Wall Street movement focus.
I consciously stood in a parking spot next to the travel lanes so I could observe the folks going by and summarize observations.
1. More support that before….maybe up to 30% in conservative Corvallis. I am talking waves, horns, peace signs, etc.
2. It is obvious that a percentage of folks are freaked out that this is happening and wish it would go back under the rug where it belongs….they were driving the land yachts mostly and also stared straight ahead like we were not there.
3. Got flipped off a couple of times and a few thumbs down but we are talking less than 5% total negativity.
I hope that more local small cities/towns start groups to show their support for Palestine because I do think it is not the numbers in one place but the number of places reporting unrest that will be unstoppable and make a difference in the long run.

Always the colonial mindset that it is westerners that decide how a new nation is to be governed. Like macron going to Lebanon and trying to offer food aid after the port explosion with the condition that hezbollah was excluded from government. His idea was rejected. But the clueless do try. The communist party was made illegal as it began to grow enough to scare the theatre managers of democracy.

If we assume there is a strategy behind Pepe’s leak, is it to support Israel or Iran’s aims?
I assume Iran because Israel would not use Pepe when they have so much control over reputable media voices. Why not Sy Hersh, eg.
If strategically for Iran, what is the message?
Pure speculation, but if I were Iran the message I would want to send is:
“I have proof of the big attack you tried and how I was able to defend against it. I have released impossible information on what happened so you can see how quickly it spread and how easily you could be utterly humiliated. I am not releasing the real story and evidence. For now.”
Having Russia as part of the story sets out that just as Israel has veto and military superpower backing, so does Iran – by the power defeating NATO.
There were people suggesting the message was an Israeli psy op to puff Israel up after that whimper of an attack. As Israel has become silent on Iran and stopped its assassinations since I rather think it is more likely that Iran sent the message and it was heard loud and clear.

ZH has a posting up with the title
Watch: Northern Israel Is Literally On Fire After Hezbollah Attacks
the quote

Starting Friday night into Saturday a series of surreal images and videos have circulated widely showing that whole swathes of northern Israel are literally on fire.
The fires were largely in open field areas, but were very extensive given they were the result of about 35 rockets being fired from Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, targeting the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, which suffered damage.
Brushfires erupted, but there were some direct hits on homes and buildings as well. “The city reported significant damage to property and infrastructure, with dozens of homes and vehicles affected,” Ynet news reports.

I will just note that Hezbollah attacks are not committing genocide like the Occupied Palestine ones.

Having Russia as part of the story sets out that just as Israel has veto and military superpower backing, so does Iran – by the power defeating NATO.

Thanks.
Hmm…..
First, Israel & Iran both know what happened and did not happen. (Therefore all related powers intelligence services and leadership know as well; the only people who don’t know are We The People – as usual.) Exhibit 1: Iran cleared the attack with many Western powers before going forward; they are in regular, if often unfriendly, contact.
Therefore, I suggest the story is not a message to governments, including those run by The Tribe, but to the rather small sector of the public who follow geopolitics. (Did Pepe’s story get widespread coverage? I don’t track mainstream media, but I doubt it.) So your above interpretation of the message – which makes sense to me BTW – is likely targeted to BRICS-supporting general readership who follow Mr. Multipolar Escobar. Or?
Anyway, I come back to the story itself: there are so many gaps I mentally cast it aside and even karlof1’s article didn’t persuade. I’m mainly a pattern-reader in the realm of news so rarely focus overmuch on data details. Also, the harder I try to penetrate public arena events the more confusing they often get, so I generally apply a soft focus. (I try to grok the overall narrative arc, not each step along the way.) I also find that stepping away from a thorny conundrum and letting it go often allows something else to come up out of left field that is much more clear. All those years on the cushion maybe…

fyi
https://twitter.com/zei_squirrel/status/1789018662155821526
Zbigniew Brzezinski was a top US foreign policy official, not at all a radical, in fact the opposite. But he acknowledged truths about Israel that will end your career. Just look at this interview from 2002, when Israel was doing another one of its routine massacres of Palestinians:
“I think Israel’s international position is very badly damaged. A country which started off as a symbol of recovery of a people who were greatly persecuted now looks like a country that is persecuting people. And that’s very bad.”
“The Israelis are becoming increasingly like the white supremacist South Africans, viewing the Palestinians as a lower form of life, not hesitating to kill a great many of them and justifying this on the grounds that they are being the objects of terrorism.”
“But you cannot define the loss of human life in terms of the number of Israelis killed by inexcusable Palestinian terror. The fact of the matter is that three times as many Palestinians have been killed, and a relatively small number of them were really militants. Most were civilians. Some hundreds were children.”

I am just noting that Reuters has led online with the following posting title/sub for over 24 hours…..I commented about yesterday because it is so “telling”
Name and shame: Pro-Israel website ramps up attacks on pro-Palestinian student protesters
Messages call for protesters to be deported or expelled, possibly raped or killed.
Police were advised to avoid mass arrests; then came the US campus protests

It seems to me like Reuters just might be projecting a bit of elite fear here, eh?
Desperation is the smell of it….and it reeks!

Agreed. Don’t know about Masada but they obviously don’t care about UN; it could very well be that they believe themselves to be the chosen people and that nothing else matters. As such, they can’t conceive that “the street” can make any difference. And the money laundering machine (the US military) needs them to continue.

I expect further escalation on both sides until extinction stupidity/loser mentality or a capitulation by what I call the God Of Mammon cult running current empire.
I continue to characterize what we are see as a civilization war and the sides are getting clearer and clearer daily with most nations knowing it is the global finance jackboot that must be destroyed and replaced with a multipolar consortium of sovereign countries operating global finance as a public utility.
I understand that folks in the Western bubble will find my perspective hard to swallow but there is pent up demand for social change regarding global finance and that genie is now out of its bottle and won’t go back in ever as the China/Russia axis and those in the ME actively opposing Occupied Palestine are clearly stating with their actions.

Elijah J. Magnier 🇪🇺
@ejmalrai
To Israel’s Intelligence, Open Source Department:
I’ve met many of your members on X, who obviously don’t reveal their real activities but use different names. Some of you donate to my blog and think they can ask me any geopolitical question and expect me to satisfy their “curiosity”.
Usually, I am not rude unless I know you are a dirty Zionist. However, after exchanging a few emails, you all (3 so far) ask me the same question:
How is Hamas bringing more weapons into Gaza, and by what route?
Because the intelligence services don’t like to wait very long and want to see results, they have no patience. In their impatience, they ask the same question, all of you, under different identities and after the first exchanges.
My message:
1. Have some dignity, and don’t insult my intelligence.
2. I am not for sale.
3. Try to be less stupid.
3. Fuck off.
4. Do it again, and I’ll expose you to social media with the names and locations you used.

Netanyahu wants ‘demilitarized, civilian’ rule in Gaza with UAE, Saudi help
Besides being delusional it does speak to the social organizational challenges that Arab states like UAE and SA have to face as our civilization war proceeds.
I have written here before about how the future is all around us but not evenly distributed and the whole ME is a clutch of countries still heavily under the influence and “protection” of empire and will struggle to evolve away from their religious patriarchy. As that protection evaporates those ME nations will have to respond to populations watching the rest of the world throw off the jackboot of feudalistic and non-democratic societies.
As an escapee from the Catholic indoctrination and high school hacks by the Jesuits, I hold a certain antipathy towards monotheistic religions in general and usurious Pope Frank and the boys……I want to return the American motto to its original Out Of Many, One from its In God we Trust bastardization.
What sort of governance is going to evolve in the ME? I expect it to be significantly different than now because of the hoped death of global private finance and meritless inherited wealth.

“As that protection evaporates those ME nations will have to respond to populations watching the rest of the world throw off the jackboot of feudalistic and non-democratic societies. (…)
What sort of governance is going to evolve in the ME?”

This
Here is the question.
The first time (ca. 6-66/70) they played this film about a dominant people and a subjugated population in “the land of Canaan” … “the people of the land” (“am ha’eretz”) beheaded the Sadducee priestly oligarchy of the city-Temple, fulfilling one of the prophecies of “the current-school of the Nazarenes”: read the very archaic (ca. 40-66) Text called “Mark”: 12 and specifically 12,9 and 12,12
At that time “the people of the land” were people of Idumea, Galilea and Perea; but in 20-30 years when the imperial power of Washington dissolves like a sugar cube … “the people of the land(/earth)” could be half the world, so to speak.

Re: where are the weapons coming from ?
Al-Qassem has plenty of workshops in its underground fortress. ( Hezbollah likely also) The weapons being used by Al-Qassem can be made using 1930s machine tools. Geez – most good ol’ boys in fly over country have similar workshops in their garages.
There is also evidence that explosives are coming from unexploded shells and bombs. Rule of thumb is 15% of shells and bombs failed to explode. Al-Qassem has claimed to have repurposed numerous IDF weapons.
IDF landmines also seem to be repurposed by Al-Qassem brigades.
Finally, in the first 3 months when the IDF was very active; Al-Qassem showed beaucoup capitured weapons, equipment, and stores.
Note – the Viet Cong, Yugoslav Partisans used underground workshops extensively to produce weapons and ammunition. Not magic, just hard work and dedication. One can guess that Al-Qassem has far too many volunteers these days than its can handle.

This is remarkable imo. Alistair Crooked on podcast with Mercouris and Norwegian co-host asserts that what happened with the ceasefire is that Bill Burns inserted into the agreement the words “sustainable calm (cessation of fighting and withdrawal of Israeli troops”), and that this parenthetical explication of what was meant by ‘sustainable calm’ was a complete give-in to Hamas, so that when Israel read this, it therefore rejected the agreement and then proceeded with Rafah invasion. This is how Crooke exonerates Israel, placing blame for the collapse of the agreement entirely on the US. Crooked appears to believe that Israel is a rational player in this genocide

Posted by: Lavieja | May 12 2024 10:43 utc | 179

Lavieja 181. By rational I mean it had been understood by some commentators that Israel barged into Rafah in a rage having not expected Hamas to sign the ceasefire agreement. Rational doesn’t exclude psychotic. If anyone has convenient access to and can post the actual wording of the agreement I would appreciate it. It was on Palestine Chronicle but now I can’t find it. I think the mental state of the IDF makes a difference. I believe Israel is more desperate than Crooke would imply.

He was born to Polish aristocracy, and we so anti USSR and Communism it severely clouded his judgement. Provocative reflections from Conor Gallagher:

This isn’t meant to diminish what Palestinians are going through, but to ask if the permanent underclass here in the US that is constantly exploited and considered disposable is part of the same struggle. What do we see in rust belt towns, West Virginia sacrifice zones, in the agriculture fields where migrant workers toil as our elites pass laws banning mandatory water breaks, or one of California’s hundreds of Hoovervilles, or a plasma harvesting center or Cancer Alley along the lower Mississippi and countless others?
These are all places where people are used and abused, imprisoned by economic precarity, frequently literally imprisoned where they are exploited as a form of cheap (or free) labor for some of the country’s largest corporations, and often legally robbed by the state police forces through civil forfeiture. Americans are increasingly surveilled using the very same technologies that Israel uses on Palestinians as Silicon Valley tech billionaires dream of a world where democracy is stamped out.

The evil Zionists will call in foreign mercenaries to help with the genocide in Gaza.
I better not here the self-appointed world police Nato ever rail about protecting oppressed people here or there Nato members have NO credibility left after many of them have been aiding and abetting the Zionists in genocide.
“After failing to meet any of its military goals in Gaza, Israel is now looking for an exit that will grant it the ability to control the besieged territory while pulling out its own forces.
Zionist media sources have revealed that a plan is being coordinated with the US to have American mercenary groups deployed in the Rafah crossing between occupied Palestine and Egypt.
Egypt itself is also included in these talks, treacherously opening the door to mercenary forces continuing the same war crimes on Palestinians as Israelis – with potentially more impunity.
Calling it a “security firm,” the Israeli newspaper Haaretz did not disclose which mercenary group is being roped in for the job. However, one thing is clear: there is nothing good that can come of this development. American mercenary groups have historically been responsible for some of the most egregious war crimes committed in military history.
For example, take the case of Blackwater – now known as “Academi” – likely rebranded since the very mention of the name “Blackwater” draws international disdain. Blackwater was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq, where they committed numerous massacres and mass murders. ”

This has sparked concerns that the conflict in Gaza may not come to an end anytime soon.
Many experts believe that Israel’s intentions are evident and that there will be no permanent ceasefire and the genocide will continue with the ultimate goal of raising Gaza to the ground.”
Correct the plan is to either kill everyone in Gaza or force them out by whatever means is necessary, and then do the same in the West Bank the evil Zionists have the backing of the US/UK/EU etc as the world watches on instead of stopping it.

Vargas wasn’t clear if he was referring to American or Israeli Jews. If it is the latter, then it’s safe to say that, yes, we can expect more extremism from Israel. My observation is that its national narrative is crafted in a manner that any negative perception from abroad is spun as unabashed antisemitic hostility, thereby reinforcing resolve for belligerence. This is exemplified by just about any published photo of Netanyahu in which his facial expression exudes self-satisfaction, conceit and, more importantly, contempt for everyone in the same room.
Of course, more extremism from Israel is what we can expect until there is a radical change in perception by the US and European electorate. This is the one true battlefield that must be won. It would require a radical change in narrative, and student protests are steps in that direction.
Now what would really make a difference is a growing interest in the present situation and informed knowledge of how we got here and how we stand in regards to justice and human rights. This would lead to introspection, accountability and action.
Israelis may happily survive our scorn, but they couldn’t last very long without our largesse.

This is how Crooke exonerates Israel, placing blame for the collapse of the agreement entirely on the US. Crooked appears to believe that Israel is a rational player in this genocide

You exaggerate by far. Crooke has never “exonerated” Israel to my knowledge. He analyses their situation, not justifies it. He’s pretty heavily criticised them in the past.

To control Gaza they must control Hamas, it is not at all clear they can do that, mercenaries and genocide or not. I don’t see those mercs going into the tunnels. Even if they kill all the people in Gaza, and they have a ways to go yet, there are still going to be plenty of Palestinians. As with Ukraine, the Izzies cannot win, and trying anyway just drags the empire further into the mud.
Those two wars have more in common than you might think at first glance. Both expose the lacks of western militarism, both have genocidal intent behind them, both were dumb to begin with, both are active instruments of geopolitical change, both are acts of self-harm by the west. They create by their own acts the enemies who will destroy them.

*** “The Royal Air Force (RAF) has flown 200 surveillance flights over Gaza since December, it can be revealed,” Declassified UK, an investigative journalism organization, said in a report on Wednesday.”***
Perhaps sometime when they are not too busy fighting other peoples’ foreign wars abroad, the RAF could take just the occasional peek at the ongoing invasion of the south coast of England by illegal immigrants.
