What are the $14.8 billion for DoD operations in Eastern Europe for?

Also – one wonders what means the deep state used to push Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and Trump, into this full capitulation. Then again:

Mission Accomplished. It is done: Donald Trump and the House GOP just completed one of the most epic swindles in political history, with Trump personally effectuating the largest-ever disbursement of Ukraine funding through his emissary, "MAGA Mike Johnson" (as Trump lovingly calls him)

The $61 billion passed this afternoon is likely enough to underwrite the brutal, pointless trench warfare for at least another year or two.

This after the same old endless media screeching that Trump and MAGA Republicans were being brainwashed by Putin and would never fund Ukraine. That fundamental hoax continues — only this time Trump was in on it.

Check his Truth Social page for the "opposition" that deluded online MAGA followers are so sure he must've expressed against the bill. It doesn't exist.

I really could not give less of a shit if you accuse me of "TDS." I'm much more interested in being Truthful, and documenting what really happened for the journalistic/historical record. And this what just happened: Trump bamboozled his own supporters… Big League.

Re: “Trump bamboozled his own supporters… Big League.”
I have mixed feelings about Trump mainly because I think most of his supporters are just mainstream Americans who want their country to make sense again. (Maybe that would be a better slogan: ‘Make America Make Sense Again!’
And I have some sort of faith that the wishes of the people do have, not only relevance, but an effect.
That said, the enslavement to Zionism puts them firmly on the path to bankster-led polities forever at war, so whether their being ordinary people with ordinary aspirations who merit decent representative government is, I guess, moot.
THAT said, as soon as Trump announced, soon after the second ridiculous and disgraceful impeachment, that he would run again for President AS A REPUBLICAN, that meant for sure there would be no radical reforms so none of his followers’ aspirations can be fulfilled.
I think what gins up his support is Americans’ predilection for jingoistic optimism. They are unwilling to see how low their republic has sunk. They believe that if they patriotically hope for the best then America’s Destiny as an Exceptional/Chosen nation will pull them through.
In this Hopium haze they put their Hope in Trump, not so much because he warrants it but because nobody else respects them and moreover clearly he too is under attack by the communist-liberal-woke destroyers who despise them and strive to make their lives unworkable.
A pity, but understandable I guess.

I can read. It’s just that I have an allergy to excuse-making.
It is always the fault of someone else when Trump comes up short. Always. His fans are happy to give him free passes because they swallow the excuse as legitimate. After all, the other guys are the “bad guys” even if Trump appointed them over other lesser-known but more loyal people with integrity.
Then they cannot understand why the US is swirling the drain with spiraling prices, rampant crime, and aggressive LGBTQ brainwashing in schools.
It would be funny if I didn’t pity people with genuine hope and good intentions.

As such, the Trumptards are the Conservative Controlled Opposition–as opposed to the Liberal Controlled Opposition.

Europe and the US are fortifying their positions in Eastern Europe hoping that the new front will be the Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia (with Kosovo and Metohija), Albania, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Romania…
What they dont understand is that the new front line will be Poland and the Baltics. What a waste of effort and resources.

🇸🇾 ABKHAZ Foreign Minister Inal Ardzinba held a special political-intellectual dialogue with President Bashar al-Assad, under the title: “The Global Majority.”
In this dialogue, the Abkhaz Foreign Minister documented President Assad’s vision and perceptions of the relationship between the national identity of peoples and the wars that the West ignites in different regions of this world, and the high price that countries and peoples pay for their dignity, as well as the Western greatness complex, and if the West have true leaders now!
The dialogue focuses on the role of countries that aspire to the independence of their decisions and sovereignty. These countries constitute the “global majority” facing a group of Western countries, led by the United States.
Syrian Presidency platforms and official Syrian media shall broadcast part of this dialogue today, which was carried out and prepared by the Abkhaz minister. The official Russian television will also broadcast it today.

In regards to the illegal migrants flooding the USA, and someone’s point of follow the money. That would lead back to:
– 20% of single family homes in the US are now owned by investment bankers
– Homeless numbers have exploded, obvious for all to see
– Vacancy rates should be up, rents should be down
– Illegal immigrants fill those vacancies and bring rents up to shore up corporate investments
I would add that they literally got paid to take possession of those homes. A .1-.3% interest rate on cumulatively trillions of easy dollars and an inflation rate of 3%, now 7-10% equals a net of say 8.5% – .2% equals 8.3% return in equity. Exact numbers are impossible as the CPI is the stuff of fairy tales.
So that is my view of follow the money regarding the flood of illegals and the actual support of such, irrespective of the shit stink air emitting from the mouths of politicians.
The UKrain, IS(IS) appropriations approved with no border restrictions or slow downs.

As soon as Trump comes up, the TDS appears from both sides. Michael Tracy’s series of tweets were aimed at the corporate Democrats and the media (including Fox, which has always been fine with the proxy war in Ukraine discounting Tucker) and those Republicans who made whispering noises indicating they were against further funding in a cynical ploy to get elected in November of 2022.
https://www.mtracey.net/p/newsflash-republicans-are-largely
They are also aimed at Trump and Johnson, who collaborated over the past week or two in order to secure this new round of funding.
They did a joint press conference to push for it.
https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1781868687361724636
Also in Tracey’s crosshairs are people like MTG who are playing make believe that Johnson “betrayed” Trump on the YES vote.
Trump is credited with this ridiculous “loan proposal” for which he was thanked by Lindsey Graham.
https://twitter.com/fatmaulgen74/status/1782099731847565624
https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2024/04/21/graham-ukraine-aid-would-not-have-passed-without-donald-trump/
And finally, admittedly, he is taking aim at people like me who stupidly assumed that Trump would be smart enough to kill this new Ukraine aid package for the express purpose of driving a nail into the rotting corpse of the UAF – destroying their morale and hopefully hastening the fall – in an ELECTION YEAR.
IMO, all Republicans who voted for this aid are traitors to the (fictitious, but somehow still prevalent) notion that the GOP (including Trump wing) actually opposes our proxy war (or any war!) for which the Democrats are largely responsible – and by extension opposes the Democrats in general, again, during an ELECTION YEAR.
Now the reanimated corpse of the UAF will keep fighting through the next 7 months or long enough to at least not prevent Genocide Joe (speaking of reanimated corpses) from getting re-elected in November. Now Sleepy Creepy Joe Bidet likely won’t have to concede Zelenskyy’s defeat until he (or whatever Vote Blue No Matter Who cipher the Dems pick to replace him) is safely re-ensconced in the Oval Office.
Of course the “winner” here is, as always, the MIC. While a faction of the GOP has introduced legislation to ban the waving of foreign flags in Congress (I’ll bet Israel is exempt!) because both Dems and Repubs were frantically waving Ukraine’s yesterday, I’ll bet my left nut that no legislation to expose the investments in MIC stock among our elected officials is forthcoming.

Posted by: Tom_Q_Collins | Apr 21 2024 20:31 utc | 111

Oh yeah, the border. Yes, there is a huge segment of GOP voters (likely many conservative Dems too) who feels rightfully betrayed that all this money is being given to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, but none is going to secure the US border with Mexico.
Again, the MIC ALWAYS WINS. The UniParty is the War Party.

Posted by: Tom_Q_Collins | Apr 21 2024 20:34 utc | 112

Believing that Trump, Johnson or any other GOP right-winger would take a principled stance against US/UK imperial meddling is pretty delusional. The only question is, why fold *now*?
What happened this week that could have made a difference?
Not sure yet, but it’s probably no coincidence there were 3 important summits in parallel:
IMF Spring Meeting, G7 foreign ministers, EU summit
At the same time, Israel had the finger on the trigger to start a big regional(?) war.

Pepe Escobar has doubled (tripled?) down on his yarn from yesterday.

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE
I now have TWO separate, definitive confirmations from TWO ultra high level intel sources from TWO separate Asian nations. Working to get a third – at least a partial acknowledgment.
I moved to Asia 30 years ago. Built a unparalleled network. Trust my top sources a billion per cent.
The original source that led to my first post reconfirmed he stands by it. His words:
“I’m honestly surprised that people are surprised. Do they really think if something like this happened it’s gonna be presented to them in front of their TVs? It’s like history has taught them nothing.”
Working on a first column – probably out tomorrow.
Many thanks to all who offered informed, sharp comment and criticism. This should be a collective effort to get to what might have happened: the shape of it, not necessarily the details as they were leaked.

Posted by: Tom_Q_Collins | Apr 21 2024 20:39 utc | 114

No one should be surprised that Trump has failed on the border again. It is the carrot he leads normie Conservatives around by.
It’s the equivalent of what single-payer on the American left was for so long.
A wedge issue that goes decades and administrations without tangible progress.
I told someone here yesterday or the day before that MTG is in on the scam. No “good guy white hat” politician is going to save America. IMO, it’s childish for anyone over the age of 35 to believe so. That’s the sort of mind-numbing BS that the media shovels down everyone’s throats.
Like Lucy promising to hold the football for Charlie Brown yet again, suckers will continue to vote for Hope and Change to Make America Great Again.

Luongo on the frozen Russian forex assets and the consequences to US banks.
https://twitter.com/TFL1728/status/1782034012166345207

Seizing Russia’s Forex reserves is BY FAR the biggest mistake of the war by the US. This is literally ritualistic suicide as it implies …
1) That there is no rule of law in the US
2) Capital will now no longer feel safe being held here.
3) Profit from trade with the US will no longer be held in US banks for ease of deployment. That money will go home to prevent seizure.
Do you really think the world is watching this and thinking.. “Oh, it’s just Russia… they won’t do this to us…”
Conservatards in the US have been using the talking point for nearly a decade that Obama “sent pallets of cash” to Iran to sign the JCPOA. Evidence of Obama’s treason and left it hanging to imply Obama used our tax money to do this.
That was a lie by omission… Iran wanted the money “frozen” when Obama kicked them out of SWIFT four years earlier. And all they did was negotiate to get back that which the Americans had frozen.
That hope will die here if the Senate passes this and “Joah Bii-DEN!” signs it.
Europe thinks they are the big winner in this fight… China will actually be it.

Interesting comparison to Obama’s “pallets of cash” to Iran as well.

Larry Johnson commented on that last night and made the mistake of saying Russia couldn’t have shot down an F-35 as he appears unaware of Russia’s 400km range AtoA missiles, but he did score by saying if that had happened, the loose nuke would have all players scrambling for it. But what if it was collected almost as soon as the F-35 crashed and all actors made aware of that fact?
Over the first ten minutes in Nima’s chat with Ray McGovern, they discuss Pepe’s original missive, not the update. Ray’s point: if true, we’ll know soon as this sort of thing can’t be covered up forever; and if true, it needs to be presented to the UNSC. Yes, the Zionists would certainly do such a thing and not ask for permission.

Because I have no idea of the technical details, can you or others explain why a nuke is needed to deliver an EMP attack. I am absolutely sure that the Israelis would try an EMP attack, but surely there are more efficient EMP weapons than nuclear ones.
Serious question as i admit I have no idea whatever about it. if a nuke is the best way to have an EMP, then I am pretty much on board with Pepe.

The skies over Iraq?
Trump’s strike on the airbase in Syria. US launched I think seventy or so missiles. Only 23? reached the airbase. The debris of one was found on the Syrian coast. All the rest simply disappeared over the sea. The Russian MoD briefer in his broeng asled the US what had happened to the other 50 or so.
Neither Russia or the US have said anymore on the subject.
There was also something about Russia knocking down two US missiles launched against Damascus or somewhere long before Russia entered the conflict, but nothing ever came out to confirm it.
10 years, 20 years, 50 years down the track, some declassified records may show up.

Seizing Russia’s Forex reserves is BY FAR the biggest mistake of the war by the US.

Bifurcation is the name of the game. And this is just another way it’s being effected. I guess that in the new multipolar world there will be several different, seemingly separate socio-political zones each with their own digital money system.
But given the way they are all on board with Agenda 2030, the WHO, vaccines etc., the appearance of grand conflict simply serves to hide that behind it all will be one master ledger blockchain whose tentacles reach into and throughout all the various poles. Whether or not it is officially designed that way, it will end up that way; it’s the natural and inevitable destiny of the interconnected Machine World the modern era has built and whose oligarch class is still developing.
Can it be stopped? Perhaps. But only by human beings acting as such.

This is why I posted at Larry Johnson’s that the gist of the story could be true, with details different.
There are non-nuke ways to make emp bombs. And for a limited strike, too take out only the area with nuclear facility, a very small nuke. There are also other delivery methods too, such as via missiles or even satellite launcher.

Thanks for your reply and its question. Wiki EMP page explains much, with a nuke being the best way to produce one, although other much weaker means can be used. The questions posed to McGovern by Nima are very good and quite perplexing, particularly BigLie Media’s crowing about the massive Zionist response that was essentially nothing. As for the sources being Asian, Ray pointed out that Iran’s Asian, so is Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey.
And again, even if false, the story’s extremely provocative as it makes the Zionists the nuclear terrorist threat, not Iran, and that might be the exact point.

Pepe Escobar used to be really brilliant and original, 15 years or so ago.
Today, he’s mostly just repeating himself, looking for confirmation of his thoughts.
I’m afraid he can be easily manipulated by intel agencies to broadcast fake narratives they want to spread. Like Sy Hersh, who’s equally proud of his “very exclusive, high-level” sources.

Does anyone have a count of how many NATO bodies have been returned to sender?
The Russians continue to make a serious effort in that area, never mind Ukie complaints about the Russians hitting civilian structures (that just happen to hold soldiers).
The EU Army concept never took off. I cannot see the various NATO soldiers volunteered by their nation reporting to a Ukie command.
Simplicius had a good article about Western warfare not adopting and still thinking in terms of big maneuvers. That would be the reason for their disconnect with the Ukie military seen during the ‘Great Counter Offensive.’

The Moldova situation will become hotter after the opposition party’s congress in Moscow as reported by Sputnik whose URLs recently have caused comments to be blocked; “Moldovan Opposition Parties Create Joint Bloc During Congress in Moscow:”

Five Moldovan opposition parties during congress in Moscow on Sunday signed an agreement on creating a joint electoral bloc dubbed “Pobeda” (Victory), a Sputnik correspondent reported.
The bloc includes the parties Sor, Sansa, Victorie, Revival, and Power of Moldovan Unity and Accord.
“Today we announce the formation of the Pobeda-Victoria electoral bloc,” Sor party leader Ilan Shor said at the congress. “I can say with confidence that all the people present in this hall, all the political teams that are here, are ready to take responsibility and defeat poverty, misery and destruction. And to build a future in Moldova.”
He said the Pobeda-Victoria bloc will prepare for the Moldovan presidential election and the referendum on EU accession, scheduled for the fall.
“The Pobeda bloc aims to win in the referendum,” Ilan Shor told reporters, adding that the bloc would campaign against having Moldova join the European Union.
Shor nominated himself as the bloc’s executive chairman and suggested Yevgenia Gutsul, the head of Moldova’s Gagauzia autonomy, as council secretary.
He also said the reason for Moldovan opposition parties to hold a congress in Russia is that Moldova has become a “conquered state.”
“Today in Moldova any dissident has no right to vote. Today in Moldova, in fact, a gulag has been formed. Today, any opposition figure in Moldova is a traitor from the very beginning. Any political event ends with arrests, searches and punishments by the ruling pro-European regime,” Shor said, calling Moldovan President Maia Sandu an “usurper.”

I doubt the Moldovans will be allowed to reenter their nation as Sandu is indeed deep in the clutches of EU/NATO, which presents a situation very similar to Ukraine.

Has Pepe been suckered (smuks | Apr 21 2024 22:46 utc | 132)?
Days ago I was lurking some blogs where the notion was discussed and dismissed. Like Watcher, I have no expertise to know what’s possible and what’s Hollywood.
Some were eviscerating in their scorn of Escobar’s story, a few others reminded of the Stratotanker that disappeared from flightrader mid flight.
They had screenshots to bolster their case.
The disparagers had answers for that too.
I had the icky feeling discussion on the thread was being guided by intel away from serious consideration of Escobar.
>… Mike Johnson went into a SCIF and came out pale and subjugated. (ZH source). I thought he’d just been “Epsteined”, but … what if he’d been shown Russia shooting down the F-35 and the stratotanker?
After that he’d want to send $60b “to Ukraine”.
Remember, most of the $60b is for “moar war toys” within the U$A, nothing much of real immediate use for Ukraine.

My comments are being automod flushed again. I just replied to scorpion #125 and will try again later if it hasn’t shown up.

Wow. That is insane. I wonder which links are causing this. Trying again…
Hmmm…must have been one of the links.
Scorpion, I can’t type out the whole thing again, but these are the postings and “manifesto” of the guy who burned himself outside of Trump’s trial in NYC the other day. Lots of stuff about crypto per your last comment to me. Remove spaces.

The other links that I suspect are what got my comment flushed had to do with the NSA providing the original idea for decentralized digital currencies back in the 90s and a very interesting rabbit hole about whether Satoshi Nakamoto was an ‘intel’ or spook code word to give it away.

More and more signs that the EU is bankrupt. Zero money for culture, no progress with education funding, which is rather supposed to follow the UK/US model of privatization for “excellence”.
All the money went into covid and ukraine, when any third world taxi driver and my dog were saying it was a City/DC trap to eliminate an economic rival.
VdL and her political maffiosi oligarch friends are entirely responsible for this worldwide mess.
And now, what?

I was thinking the Pentagon rather than government or CIA. They are the ones with bases throughout wide open to Iranian strikes plus major attacks by militias.
I the Palestine thread, I forget the username but posted a quote from a media article written even before the Iranian counterstrike that Israel would then respond with an EMP weapon. That adds a bit more cred to Pepes source.
Rather than an F-35 though, I tend to think missiles. Two came down over Iraq, one the photographs appeared on social media. That also fits with Western media having the Israeli Missile strike narrative ready to go and already printed before it turned out nothing happened. No reports of any aircraft coming down over Iraq. And I doubt US would let the Israelis fly an F-35 into Iran either for danger of having it shot down.

Posted by: Peter AU1 | Apr 22 2024 3:07 utc | 147

Trying to think through the implications of Pepe’s tale.
1) Russia just shot a supersonic stealthy and connect aircraft out of the sky.
2) Iran did survive an attempted nuclear/EMP attack, and Russia showed its backing.
3) Multi-trillion dollar project — f35 — just proved it ain’t so stealthy.
4) Nuclear terrorist state has been identified, and it ain’t Iran.
5) How will the debris from the plane be covered up?
6) Who will take possession of the unexploded nuke ?
7) Who can do anything about it?
8) Will congress spend more money on recovery/repossession efforts? They always need a cause to spend money; this would be a good one.
9) You can just make S… up.
10) The depth of depravity of humans do remain unfathomable.

Tichy@128….but NATO is not sending troops as “NATO” to the Ukraine. Individual EU countries have Security Agreements with 404 and under those agreements are supplying troops to replace Ukrainians headed for the meat grinder.
Hope I’m wrong but if the French stay, unmolested, and other EU countries arrive and stay unmolested it means there are things going on behind the scenes that make what we see playing out moot.
Those French soldiers are Reg Force Professional, same as any countries Reg Force, those guys didn’t sign up to go to Odessa to be a new weapons test guinea pig. They know full well what Russia is doing. All bets are off should Russia make an example of the Frenchie’s in Odessa, I’ve placed my bet.

I posted link to his manifesto when it was still breaking news. Curious as to why someone would do such a thing. Here’s a little from a ZH article:

[Title]
Man Who Self-Immolated Near Trump Trial Was Anti-Fascist, Warned Of “World Coup” And Wanted To Start “F*cking Revolution”
Azzarello claims that a totalitarian conspiracy is in play, orchestrated by the U.S. government and its allies, aiming to impose a fascist world order.
This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery:
We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.
These claims sound like fantastical conspiracy theory, but they are not. They are proof of conspiracy. If you investigate this mountain of research, you will prove them too. If you learn a great deal about Ponzi schemes, you will discover that our life is a lie. If you follow this story and the links below, you will discover the rotten truth of ‘post-truth America’. You will learn the scariest and stupidest story in world history. And you will realize that we are all in a desperate state of emergency that requires your action.
To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.
Because these words are true, this is an act of revolution. -The Ponzi Papers

Azzarello’s manifesto focuses on the financial sector – particularly around recent banking crises and the role of cryptocurrencies. He suggests that the Silicon Valley Bank run, which was linked to Peter Thiel’s actions and the subsequent collapse of Silvergate Bank, was no accident but part of a broader scheme involving cryptocurrencies as a global Ponzi scheme. He claims that cryptocurrencies were designed to destabilize the economy, implicating major corporations and elites in facilitating this financial upheaval. This scheme, he argues, has contributed to global inflation and is poised to cause even greater economic disruption.
He then expands to politics, alleging that that U.S. government has devolved into a ‘secret kleptocracy,’ pointing to bipartisan manipulation. According to Azzarello, the government perpetuates division and crisis to maintain control and distract from its exploitative operations. This, he asserts, leads inevitably towards a fascist state unless urgently addressed.
Lastly, he suggests that pop culture such as The Simpsons was designed to normalize dysfunction and distract from critical issues – and that the media is used by the elites in order to manipulate public perception and maintain the status quo that suppresses collective action against systemic injustices.
His solution? A revolution (and, of course, setting himself on fire): ….

Well, I’m not sure what he thought burning himself alive would accomplish. I find myself strangely unmoved by this young man’s grand gesture unlike with Aaron. I think it’s because I feel that you can’t let the bastards get you down that way. Indeed, at the bottom of my emails it says:
Illegitimi non carborundum (Don’t let the bastards get you down!)
He let modernist nihilistic materialism, which believes that reality is a huge, lifeless machine process, overwhelm him, poor sod. This mentality ‘they’ promulgate and prey upon, making us all weaker. We must resist such nihilism!! Victory over War!!
The world may indeed be ending, but in my garden the birds still sing and flowers are in bloom. It’s never all bad.

Hypersonics. Zircon and Kinzhal.
I think back around 2018 or so when Russia announced its next gen weapons systems b posted a piece written by Gordog. He was commenting here at the time.
Two things were power required to overcome drag, and with the Zircon, fuel burn/ignition rate of the fuel in the scramjet engine.
I forget the ratio now but used to know it when I was flying – double the speed, four times the drag I think. High speeds require a huge amount of power. It turns out, that only aplies up to Mach 1. I was watching a speech by one of the engineers high up in designing the Mach 3.2 Blackbird. He said that after Mach 1 there is very little change in drag. From there on it seems, the main thing is exhaust velocity rather than sheer power. Best economy cruise was 3.2, its designed cruise speed, fuel switching over to the ramjet afterburners as it came up to cruise. One report had it clocked on radar at M 4. That matches with a pilots account. Standard procedure was to simply add throttle when missiles were fired. According to the pilot, out running missiles at full throttle, the counter went up to unbelievable numbers. I think after a high speed run like that it needed a full engine replacement similar to the Mig-25 on a high speed run. I read the highest speed for the Mig without the ramjet afterburners clocked on ground radar was 3.4.
Fuel for the scramjet engine of the Zircon – that has to burn well above mach 1 normally termed detonation due to producing a shock wave. Engine would have to be designed around that constant shock wave. Turbines especially and ramjets, the air is slowed down in the combustion area whereas in scram jets it simply runs through a constricted area. That was what Gordog was having trouble with – burn/combustion speed well above mach 1 producing a shock wave.

Another ZH Title:
“The Intel Agencies Of Government Are Fully Weaponized”
Reprints an old Sundance article (Conservative Tree House).

Barack Obama and Eric Holder did not create a weaponized DOJ and FBI; instead, what they did was take the preexisting system and retool it so the weapons only targeted one side of the political continuum. This point is where many people understandably get confused…
In the era shortly after 9/11, the DC national security apparatus was constructed to preserve continuity of government and simultaneously view all Americans as potential threats. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose.
What Barack Obama and Eric Holder did with that new construct was refine the internal targeting mechanisms so that only their ideological opposition became the target of the new national security system. This is very important to understand as you dig deeper into this research outline.
Washington DC created the modern national security apparatus immediately and hurriedly after 9/11/01. DHS came along in 2002, and within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 the ODNI was formed. When Barack Obama and Eric Holder arrived a few years later, those newly formed institutions were viewed as opportunities to create a very specific national security apparatus that would focus almost exclusively against their political opposition.
The preexisting Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Dept of Justice (DOJ) were then repurposed to become two of the four pillars of the domestic national security apparatus. However, this new construct would have a targeting mechanism based on political ideology. The DHS, ODNI, DOJ and FBI became the four pillars of this new institution. Atop these pillars is where you will find the Fourth Branch of Government.
We were not sleeping when this happened, we were wide awake. However, we were stunningly distracted by the economic collapse that was taking place in 2006 and 2007 when the engineers behind Obama started to assemble the design. By the time Obama took office in 2009, we sensed something profound was shifting, but we can only see exactly what shifted in the aftermath. The four pillars were put into place, and a new Fourth Branch of Government was quietly created.
As time passed, and the system operators became familiar with their new tools, technology allowed the tentacles of the system to reach out and touch us. That is when we first started to notice that something very disconcerting was happening. Those four pillars are the root of it, and if we take the time to understand how the Fourth Branch originated, questions about this current state of perpetual angst will start to make sense.
Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, and take a walk with me as we outline how this was put together. You might find many of the questions about our current state of political affairs beginning to make a lot more sense. …

Re Trump
I believe he wanted detente with Russia while the US attacked China. Clearly now more impossible than it was then. Trump would be all for this package if that meant and, is aimed at, tying up Russia in a war with Europe while US launches war against China.
Posted by: Peter AU1 | Apr 21 2024 22:00 utc | 121
What would a war by US against China look like? The USN can’t defeat PLAN in Chinese waters, and if it came close enough to try, all the gaming shows that it gets sunk in less than an hour. Troops into Taiwan? China can interdict, plus destroy anything worth destroying on the island with missiles. Taiwan gets blockaded, invasion fails. The only remotely plausible scenario is piracy, cutting China’s trade with Europe and the global south. However, this (and any other war scenario with China) would cut trade with the US as well, the Walmarts and on-line stores would empty, there would be serious instability in the US, possibly including riots and even civil war.
Trump or anyone else ‘wanting’ a war with China runs into the same problem as wanting a war with Russia- it can’t be won, and if it could be, the US would get nuked big-time. US government couldn’t survive a war with DPRK ffs.
War with Russia, China, DPRK and Iran is kayfabe by US politicians. It’s a way to exert control over western leaders and populations, just like the Cold War. The threat of war is good for the MIC. The real thing, not so much. Even the proxy war in Ukraine is seriously damaging the marketability of US and Europeon weapons systems.
The people at the top of the western pyramid are there because of money. They would dearly love to revive aristocracy, but they have no legitimacy for the role, so they have to maintain pretend democracy as long as they can. They certainly aren’t going to go to war with people who can crash the economic foundation of their wealth with a handful of short range conventional missiles and/or speedboats- or, basically, a phone call or a Twitter post to the effect that the Persian Gulf is closed to tanker traffic. If not that, then how about a country they can’t defeat that supplies most of the consumer goods of the American masses, and in so doing, also the cash flow and capital accumulation that makes capitalism go.
Russia can’t realistically harm the US except in a nuclear confrontation, but China and Iran can crash the US/global economy by stopping trade. Xi doesn’t even have to interdict any shipping- a note to the harbor masters not to load ships headed to the US and NATO countries, and voila. What’s America’s next move then? Nuclear war? I suppose that would get sheeple’s minds off the lack of iPhones.

The Register has a posting up I thought worth sharing
A quarter of 5-7 year olds now use smartphones, says regulator
the link
https://www.theregister.com/2024/04/19/kids_electronics_report/?td=rt-3a
the quote

The research showed 24 percent of five- to seven-year-olds own a smartphone, while 76 percent use a tablet.
It also documents increasing use of online platforms, social media and games. The proportion of 5-7s using of social media has increased from 30 percent last year to 38 percent in the 2024 survey. Many of the most popular apps in the market have seen big increases in the same period: WhatsApp use is up from 29 percent to 37 percent; TikTok from 25 percent to 30 percent; and Instagram from 14 percent to 22 percent.
Online gaming within the same age group has also jumped from 34 percent to 41 percent, with the number of kids aged five to seven playing shooter games rising from 10 percent to 15 percent.

Got to get those kids into those shooter games early……..That EMP being talked about on the Palestine thread may have extreme value to society….

The jewed-up Liberal/Labor swappable uni-party in Oz is cracking down on Musk’s X-Twitter for allowing subscribers to post photos of the results of a knife-wielding lone-nut mass-murder event at a Bondi shopping centre in Sydney, circa April 13.
6 people died at the scene and another victim died in hospital. 6 more hospital patients are out of danger. The knife wielder was shot dead by a senior female police officer after disobeying an order to drop his weapon and moving toward her.
The killer was known to police as a socially isolated individual who had been sleeping in his car. He had never been arrested or convicted of a crime.
^That^ is a sensational story no what spin our corrupt “For Sale” politicians might wish to superimpose on it. But it really did happen and the pics on Twitter could only/mostly have come from obsessive TV, radio & print MSM in the days immediately following the event.
So my question to Oz’s pro-jew, anti-Palestine, secrecy-obsessed politicians (if I thought they’d be listening to a Citizen Voter) would be: “Why the Hell do you want this tragic event swept under the carpet, and not Fully and Comprehensively Investigated from a Cause & Effect point of view?!”

It won’t YET include the Media, Pharma , Agro and the overriding Financial Owners -Top Mad Dogs – the Finks and Dimons; they are the final meat shields of the Oldest Slave Owners and Traders who have had countless generations and know nothing other than their ‘god given right’ of that ownership and yes even the sense of responsibility for human civilisations progress but only in their hands and only as they will it.
The biblical god bothering excusers for the actions of the USA as the hegemonic stick wielding enforcer. Those stringed wizards or more accurately the hand puppet Punch & Judy shows of old style travelling faire entertainment appears to be finally at an end. Their hands are showing. On PURPOSE.
Those arms and hands and voices that run the puppets, never independent, acting only to scripts, never really independent. Don’t wanna be a wet blanket but .. There Is No Impending ‘Mini Ice Age’ according to NASA
But if such a Grand Solar Minimum occurred, how big of an effect might it have? In terms of climate forcing – a factor that could push the climate in a particular direction – solar scientists estimate it would be about -0.1 W/m2, the same impact of about three years of current carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration growth.
Thus, a new Grand Solar Minimum would only serve to offset a few years of warming caused by human activities.
The warming caused by the greenhouse gas emissions from the human burning of fossil fuels is six times greater than the possible decades-long cooling from a prolonged Grand Solar Minimum.
Even if a Grand Solar Minimum were to last a century, global temperatures would continue to warm. The reason for this is because more factors than just variations in the Sun’s output change global temperatures on Earth, the most dominant of those today is the warming coming from human-induced greenhouse gas emissions.

THE BIG BANG CHINESE FINGER TRAP.
The plan didn’t start with the fall of the USSR, which was guaranteed – after its failure to win the race to the Moon (yes, yes, I know) – it was formulated a lot earlier , I think even by the middle of WW2 which was already ‘lost’ by early 1942. Bretton Woods was part of it, all the way to the lighting of the blue touch paper of the fireworks by Brezinzsky’s Chess Board Grand Plan and beyond, the WTO etc. whilst they collected their new technology patents.
History Making by wider than the Anglo European Imperialists humanity supposedly came to an end; when the NWO took over at the end of their ‘Les Trente Glorieuses’. The decades of licking their wounds after the failure of their grand plan of fascism and Nazi proxies. Of creating the new generations of conquistadors to complete the never ending task or die trying. The entitled , the supposed elites, the ones who in desperation now have called themselves the Collective Western Gardeners to the Rest of the Worlds Jungle!
Their tin eared insanity complete like the mad hatters they are.
It was unleashed as the Neo Con/Lib ‘fresh than fresh’ washes ‘whiter than white’ ever newer pseudo religions upon the Collective West and the rest of the world – starting with Thatcher and Star Wars Raygun..
(ps the sleazy advertisers who packaged and sold them to us have a special need of comeuppance due them)
The Old Masters believed that they had China in their hands by setting up and controlling its industrialisation and buying its cheap production through consumerism funded by the magic money credit for our western masses.
They didn’t expect the Chinese leadership to raise their poorest and certainly never thought it could happen so fast ! Or that their relative prosperity and commercial connections would insulate them from partnership with their Millenia long prime target , the largest country in the world – the Russian Federation.
They thought they could install into China and Russia , the same model of the shapeshifter loyal exploiting classes as happened across the rest of the Imperium. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for the majority of humanity they made a finger trap for themselves from which they appear incapable of extracting themselves now!
Leaving only their Grand Prize of Russian and Central Asia to hoover up along with the yet un exploited parts of Africa, South east Asia and deepest Americas. The world in their hands finally, to succeed where their forebears had tried and failed multiple times…it has led to environmental destruction of the Forests and Seas and Rivers and worse.
The Big Bang of the Money Grabbing and Privatisations and the Spring in America BULLSHITTERY – all fuelled by the creation of privately owned credit and loans – the magic money tree and the golden egg laying goose in the hands of those who consider themselves to be the Giants – the masters of the universe. The endless instruments of financialisation.
Implementing the explosion of controlled mass media in every room, in every home, in every child’s hand – the Internet social media and financial control, consumerism under unipolar control…the net / cages of controlling the masses, have extended from external physical control to the more efficient mental chains so proudly declared by one of the engineers of the modern world – the Orwellian Mind Control. Soon it will also return to the physical plane with digital currency that can be turned on and off to keep us in our parishes because we are not the elites.
One more post I think to follow than hitting the road ..

After hiring a magnificent stage actor, a certain Obama, the scriptwriters and palace scribes of Permanent Washington devoted themselves body and soul to their favorite genre: Comedy.
The bloody Comedy has a simply perfect casting, and for icing on the cake we now have John Fetterman
Our lords and masters are so confident of their power that they simply laugh at their childish audience.
That’s why one of my favorite movies is The Truman Show where the imperial screenwriters laugh at themselves and their audience:
Joe and Donald are Laurel and Hardy

I just posted this to the palestine thread, but it also belongs here.
Somehow I missed out on Pepe’s tale of nuclear war involving Israel, Persia and Russia for two days. I’ve looked into it now for only a few minutes, and here is my impression:
It doesn’t add up at many points. From the ‘billion percent source’ to the Plan B drone harrassment Iran experienced instead of an EMP blast. None of it that I’m aware of now is conclusive on its own, but I had a possible candidate to suggest: Iran’s heavy missile are stored in underground sites on TEL trucks – if those would survive an EMP strike (I have no idea if true) I call bullshit with a chance of one billion percent.
On the other side, even before this news, I assumed Israel had decided to have its re-retaliation strike exclusively in the public sphere, rather than on the ground in any consequential sense. The missile parts found in Iraq are a version of the usual passport that is found after a terrorist strike, leading to the perpetrators.
The blustering chauvinism apparent in the jewish state these days, on a psychological level, an expression of profound insecurity. These are hurt people; their repressed anguish and fear comes back as paranoia, hate and irrational motives that are transgressing into open evilness, but those also confuse rational strategic thinking. So it does make sense for them to do a PsyOp that protects their feeling power. Nutty’s wife/handler is a prof psychologist, perhaps she came up with it. The networks were asked to pull it off, and they fed the story to pepe via his sources somehow; I gather it can be done via many parallel channels, so Pepe is not technically lying when he says it’s ‘confirmed’. He’s jumping at a scoop, that is all. By the way, who else has any info this? Call me sceptic.
I imagine the Izzy power networks had considerable leverage against some actors with an offer of choice between ugly and stupid, or just stupid; and that everyone involved was happy to pick the latter. Even the hardcore dissident crazies I see sometimes are looking away in shame now when the talk comes to the horror in palestine.
I wonder how the mood is in Israel these days. Are they all on it and cheering the mayhem? Then it’s by now a proper mass psychosis. But probably the mainstream cheering is quite hollow, even brittle, as many people are struggling to suppress their instinctive humanity over such a long time.

Wars today are different than they were a decade or two ago:
Then=shock and awe
Now=strangulation
*meaning sanctions, color revolutions, military contractors, proxy forces, embargoes etc., but no bombings.
Today wars by the U.S. are not in our faces. They are a slow strangulation of a python that is not seen by the average person who watches the corporate press.

“Even if a Grand Solar Minimum were to last a century, global temperatures would continue to warm. The reason for this is because more factors than just variations in the Sun’s output change global temperatures on Earth, the most dominant of those today is the warming coming from human-induced greenhouse gas emissions.

With all due respect you don’t know what you are talking about.
Since 2.2 MM years ago there have been 17 ice ages-occurring e very 100,000 years or so.(1)
We are now in a warming state (we are coming out of an ice age 11,700 years ago), in 40,000 years or so the world will be a in a cooling state.
When it gets warm there are more plants, more animals, more arable land and more people-cold is bad, warming is good (2)-the more C02 the better.

The 99% of us have no power, and the hired actors who go on stage have the same power as we: nothing, zero.
Power is held by a Coalition (1963/67/1997-) made up of:
1) the imperial party, whose hard core is in Central and the State Department.
2) the Zionist party with its two flavors: Sadducee Zionism of Tel-Aviv and the Bible belt and Pharisee Zionism of New York and California.
3) the corporatocratic party and the financial system in private hands
4) an army of palace scribes forging colossal Mental Media Bubble with tons and tons of silence and infantile narrative
The collateral damage is a society divided and confronted in two cultural identities, necessary to hide the fact that the two teams of lackeys work for the same Power.

Heat. same as a diesel engine. A diesel engine requires injectors to spread the burn time a bit. modern eclectically controlled diesel engines have electronic injectors that pulse the fuel in.
For the scramjet, a very high burn rate fuel would be required but it could be controlled by the rate at which it is fed into the high temperature compressed airstrike. The big thing would be designing the engine around the constant shockwave, though at hypersonic speeds, the air is already traveling through the motor at far above mach one so there may very well be different equations, depending on what speed the booster takes it up to before the scramjet kicks in. I’m thinking about that somewhat with the difference in drag up to mach 1 and after mach 1. different equations.

FAUSTIAN POINT OF NO RETURN FOR THE ZION KINGS
His name was actually Blair not Orwell, namesake of our own traitor to the masses, to match Thatcherism of the ‘Right’ with the capture of the ‘Left’, by the Blairism of ‘NuLabourInc’.
With the cover of ‘Cool Brittannia’ and bare faced hypocrisy of ‘Education, Education, Education’ (they like their PR/Advertising slogans ) accelerated the process and destruction of the public services and stomped on any return to the justice of the post war social contract , now being totally ground to dust under the jackboot of the Great Knight Dope Fascist Zionist Strammertrooper – along with his daily long knives culling of any lurking ‘old Labour’ types who snuck in with the Corbyn Miracle.
They had to restrain themselves for their failure to take Russia and EurAsia in WW2 and to appease and pacify their populations from revolt – that is us imperialist wests peoples – so we were fed the cake as well as the bread for the 30 years.
The Faustian Deal which temporarily ended their march to world domination and enslavement by the Red Army’s impossible success at destroying the Fascists sent to annihilate them was restored.
As the neo imperialisms natozionazis they unleashed the violence of wars in Europe again and the yet unconquered world for which Clinton’s, Blair, Bush Jr and their peers were moulded. Which now infest the western worlds leaderships vi their WEF moulding.
The poverty of the masses returned, Austerity was the means. The kings would be placed in their castles. Bozo the Clown Johnson, Manny the Macaloon in the Elysee, every clone from the WEF factory under the control of the Highest. every single imperial Seat of Power thus filled.
The bishops in the neo-cathedrals of the neo-religions installed – the Media,Tech and Financial new moguls to join the War lords and industrialists. Using them, The Old Owners of Everything could return to full power and try again to achieve their goal of taking total control of the World.
With their new generations of stormtroopers executives raised to be entitled , powerful and rich with certitudes of superiority and elitism, the new order high command, the Fascist mind set from birth. With a bit of insurance of disturbing behaviour collected as blackmail materiel, just in case they suddenly break their conditioning.
Those bastards and scum bags who have led us into the withered poison minded amoral Collective Waste. The fools gold Moses’ who have sold us back into Slavery to the Pharaohs – who never died ; they just Shape Shifted as they are doing again now – as they realise they have failed again and need to throw some live meat at the baying humanity looking in their direction for injustices suffered.
They are preparing their scapegoats – which will look much like the previous versions (stereotypes were created for such purposes) they may even throw in some of the upper echelons – who will accede at the threat of annihilation of their progeny and ‘blood lines’ and for the guarantee of the success of their surviving dynasty for their sacrifice to appease the masses and hide the handful of the very Few to carry on their odious control of the Worlds resources and it’s true wealth – Humanity in its Billions.
All that’s needed is a trigger – some insanity , beyond the pale, moment – maybe a nuke, used in madness and abject criminality – even if didn’t succeed. I believe it happened. The quiet is tooooooo quiet.

Canada’s former deputy PM and finance minister in Jean Chrétien’s liberal government of the 90’s/early 2000’s, takes on left-leaning policies. Now, he’s the ultra Anglo insider, what he discusses tends to reflect back room discussions of Anglo-dom. So left-leaning policies, that insipidly appear to encourage Canadian businesses to move elsewhere (Europe, anyone?? The USA featuring as a giant vacuum, fiscal policy assisting with the suctioning.)

Concerning whether EMP from a nuke would penetrate down through several meters of the ground and still have the intensity to do damage.
….
Since a nuke creates a prompt pulse dt it’s energy will be distributed among frequencies f>0.3/dt
Such frequencies are strongly attenuated in the ground.
EMP is very harmful for electronic equipments created for picking up faint signals. It is also harmful for long conductors wherein a strong current surge will be induced.
There is plenty of that above ground.

Personally I am not sure DT=+8 degrees in the year 2300 means we need to pull the brakes. I would at least like to see this argued with precision.

News from Canada these days never seems complete without an update from Newfoundland and Labrador on the East Coast.

I have been studying climate and geology for 30 years.
Global warming and global cooling is a cyclical event as we have had 17 ice ages in 2.2 MM years.
Global warming /Global cooling have absolutely nothing to do with so called, ‘Man Made Climate Change’.
Heat and c02 are good for plants, animals, arable land and human populations-the only time in 2.2 MM years was the human population threatened was in an ice age (1):
1.” we’ve waxed. So we can wane. Let’s just hope we wane gently. Because once in our history, the world-wide population of human beings skidded so sharply we were down to roughly a thousand reproductive adults. One study says we hit as low as 40 piars 70,000 years ago during an ice age.
Forty? Come on, that can’t be right. Well, the technical term is 40 “breeding pairs” (children not included). More likely there was a drastic dip and then 5,000 to 10,000 bedraggled Homo sapiens struggled together in pitiful little clumps hunting and gathering for thousands of years until, in the late Stone Age, we humans began to recover. But for a time there, says science writer Sam Kean, “We damn near went extinct.” 93(2)

One needs a big yield weapon in a range of 4-10 megatons to create an effective EMP.
Also as explosion goes 360° and in all directions. A good 100 km height would burn a lot of satellites.
