translated this super interesting portion of a documentary a while ago of Al-Qassam foiling a plan by Sarayet Matkal, one of “Israel’s” most advanced units, to infiltrate the resistances’ communication system.

And there is more than one aspect to a ‘communication system’. Intercepting and deciphering messages are two.
But radios also give off radiation that serve as locators for those with the right technology.

My wife is an mid-level policy administrator at very large and very famous state university. She tells me that there are eyes everywhere these days with regards to what sorts of speech their “university representatives” are uttering in social media posts. She prepared the following and was about to post, and then pulled back:
First you displace a people,
destroy their homes, institutions, and local economies.
Then you limit sources of food.
Then you hide behind a narrative that highlights your own victimhood,
the necessity of war and your survival.
Not to mention your god given rights.
These are all true and tried tactics of genocide.
The threat to our livelihoods in this current climate is palpable. I am afraid too, and it is steadily rendering me a coward, and I hate it.

Immediately before their recent pivot to Gaza, Andrés’ WCK spent several weeks providing meals to Israeli soldiers following Hamas’ October 7 attack.
On October 16, when Spain’s then-Minister for Social Rights, Ione Belarra, condemned Israel for conducting a “genocide” in Gaza, Andrés immediately jumped to Tel Aviv’s defense and demanded her resignation:

Suppose that having stripped religion , which is garbage, out of the analysis of this genocide, what is its meaning and purpose?

Some people might not be buying this theory because they still feel that US, UK and Israel still represent some innate good, despite the evidrnce of the opposite. The lazy way to deal with excessive violence is to believe there is some cathartic benefit to come from sheer terrorism.
Another way to deal with these events is to imbue Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood with some unique connection to God ‘s wisdom and they are guided by their faith to crack
the Israelis’ Intel and lack of genuine faith or courage.
Every time catastrophe has struck in the West Asia we see that all three, distinct narratives can coexist at the same time, the secular, the Crusader and the Islamist. As a Muslim, I should of course follow the the third harmonic, that God is guiding Muslims in spite of the catastrophic terror and murder.
But instead , I find the Russian and Chinese narratives more convincing, because they are the Actual Targets of Capitalist aggression. Islam is 100 % happy with Capitalism so long as it’s moderated by compassion.
Only socialism wants social equality, and that is a red rag to Capitalism, Political Islam and imperialism.

If I was forced to bet a paycheck on it, I would not bet against his view of 7 Oct. All of the events leading up to it and the timeline support it. It might still be proven wrong, but currently fits the best.
When you say anyone who wants power is a problem, I agree. They tend to be psychopaths or narcissists, somewhere on the dark triad.
I need to search and re-read, but I remember there was a practice in, I think ancient Greece, where there was a state in which government officials were chosen by lots. This was viewed by them as more of a punishment than anything else.
When I look at my current elected government, I can’t see how it would be any worse, maybe we should give it a whirl.

My opinion of Islamism is jaundiced by the discovery over 20 years of being a Muslim of their addiction to spying , magic and lying. I worked for one Muslim brother for many years but found he had been informed by Political Islam that I was suspect, which made him in turn try to de-humanise me, just as Zionism de-humanises Palestinians.
I have been running an Afghan around voluntarily for months to his work only to find he’s in contact with my next door neighbour who spies on me in my house. Spying is an unacceptable habit of the Ottoman Genghis Khan legacy. A totally unacceptable intrusion into personal privacy by Power- mad Islamists.
In Palestine before October 7 they were faced vwith a choice between total corruption by the likes of Fatah-Israeli mafia boss Muhammad Dahlan , or Muslim Brotherhood mafia of Hamas. The former is an ally of Israel, and the other run by Mi6/ Mossad and CIA.
The reason they are being genocided at random now is because they have been betrayed by both sides, as well as the outside world.
It is a tribute to my own psychological resilience that I am still a Muslim in spite of.20 years of racist passive aggression.
It is a miracle that Palestinians have survived 100 years of betrayal from.their own side and 150 years of active aggression from outsiders.
Political Islam is as apartheid as Zionism. They could of course change their addiction to intrigue and spying. In another 100 years they might be fit for forming an administration.
