Energy is at the root of industry, and industry is the key to prosperity.
The late American way is well-known: Control the flow of oil and gas.
The Chinese way is based on new energies, such as photovoltaocs. China invested to bring costs down. Lately, panel costs are falling 50% per year because the Government of China is going for broke, attempting to gift the Global South free power and independence. Most of the global population live in sunny countries, Europe is the main exception.
Oil and gas, and even nuclear power, are becoming irrelevant because they cannot reach 1c/kWh.
On the contrary, PV in sunny areas allows unthinkable applications: Irrigation with desalted marine water, smelting of aluminium at less cost than steel, indoor agriculture in cold regions like the Puna in Peru and Bolivia…
The tech also favours China.

Obvious Battleplan for World Domination:
1)Secretly train, equip, transport 320,000 (UN) mercenaries, fly them from Panama and disperse them throughout the USA
2)Utilize 39 tons of stolen ammunition grade ammonium nitrate for false-flag attacks throughout USA
3)Declare ‘state of emergency’ and cancel elections
4)Lock-down ALL media
5)Collapse world economies/food supplies
6)Confiscate private guns; kill/arrest dissidents
7)Employ/trigger (MNRA based/5-G?) death worldwide
8)Expand Israel to “Greater Israel” boundaries
9)Digital I.D./enslave remaining world populations

Plus under LOST any fucktard with a uniform and a badge can take your boat and not much you can do about it. Inside territorial waters you’d be a target for the state, outside …Buccaneers.

………………….
Good list, Dave.
Am daily kicking myself that I didn’t pick up a 38′ Atkins Ingrid, shipyard owner ferro build in 70s, fully reconditioned after 2 circumnavigations needing only electronics, a tender, and mast repair near the base from heat damage being left out stepped for three years in Guymas after the second of the original couple owners died. I could have picked her up for $5Gs. Now on the market for $85. If she had a wood or plastic hull would be way more even though ferro is much easier to repair and breathes far better in hot climes if not (stupidly) sealed.
I had a bad case of Lyme and no Spanish yet and Guymas is UGLY, though cheap. Had to pass. Will forever regret. A true deep water passage-making liveaboard. Now am about to move into simple cinder block house in coffee country hills with mainly cows, sheep and their minders as neighbours. At least great cheese, vegetables and lamb at this altitude. If there is fin del Mundo we’ll live off our banana and macadamia nut trees!

Talk about throwing a bucket of cold reality water on a warm, romantic idea!
Your comment was the main reason I opted for landlubberhood instead of the Deep Blue, though it’s in the blood.
Hard Truth: outside ‘the garden’ barflies love to cast as only-demonic, most temperate zones are dangerous. Not just the storms, but human violence. If you don’t want to spend most of your time in crowded over-priced marinas, floating middle class suburbia, you are playing high stakes poster. That said, on the whole things go well, statistically at least…
Joshua Slocum kept the natives at bay rounding the Horn by spreading tacks on deck. They went barefoot so it was quite an effective, and affordable, security protocol!

O looked up suno27 on Google and it took me to a member of the Ahmadi sect who claimed that Palestine because of thethere have been five Messiahs.
In the context of the Zionist genocide of Palestinians it’s significant that the Jews lost their right to Palestine because of their rejection of the Messiah, son of Mary, whose name in Arabic is ‘Eesa and in English Jesus, peace be upon him.
Anybody claiming some kind of reincarnation or reappearance of God’s Word, created as prophet to the Chidren of Israel, is also denying the special.prophethood of Jesus AS like the Jews
I therefore conclude that his presence on MoA is to reaffirm.the Jews’s denial of the Messiah.
Zionism necessarily refuses to accept Jesus’s cursing of the Jews for rejecting his teachings and his miracles. Zionism denies their loss of Palestine. Zionism also denies the Last Prophet which the Gospels tell us they are also still waiting for, even though he has come, Muhammad SAW and the Qur’an.
It’s impossible to be a Muslim and also believe that the last prophet SAW is in fact the last prophet because ,hey! another Messiah or four have come along.
So I conclude that this believer in reincarnation is not a Muslim, and the sect he/ she / it (if AI) follows is nothing to do with Islam.

🇺🇸 BOEING SUFFERS ANOTHER MID-AIR ENGINE FIRE
The United Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing in Texas minutes after take-off when flames began shooting from one of its engines.
This is the second mid-air engine fire to affect Boeing in the U.S this year, after a 747 engine caught fire over Miami in January.

Anyone know the future of the EU gas supply?
End 2024 gas transit through Ukraine – and Russian payments to Ukraine – ends.
Remember how Ukraine used to siphon off gas? That ends, too.
It seems Japan has got an exemption for Russian Sakhalin gas until 24 June 2024.
Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic are permitted to use Russian gas (and oil). Hungary gets Russian gas until 2036.
At least that is how I read it. Does this mean that when Ukrainian transit ends, Russia contractually does not have to supply gas to Germany anymore? Anyone has more information?

Ok, enough of your nonsense and your lies. Show us or keep quiet.
Your case is clear: An ill-mannered (and likely ill-omened) man who claims to be a Muslim yet publicly castigates his own “80 year old mother” (!!!); based on 5 letters and 2 digits reaches strange conclusions; claims to be “concerned with afterlife” but acts like a cur dog on public forums; …
I sincerely feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with your in real life.

Despite my ongoing critique of the http://www.wsws.org, it’s ridiculous TDS and it’s villification of Russia in it’s struggle with US imperialism…they did hit the nail on the head with this description of the Dems;
The Democratic Party has long since repudiated any association with social reform and therefore any ability to make an appeal to broader sections of the working class. It is a party of the CIA and Wall Street. Its political platform is centered on building a constituency among sections of the upper-middle class based on “identity” issues, in which white workers are presented as the embodiment of racism and “privilege.”

I’m certain the folly of last year’s U.S. hysteria over a Chinese balloon overflying the U.S. is not forgotten by readers at this site. The incident led the press to recall Japan’s “Fu-Go” balloon assault over North America in the last year of WW2. New evidence now shows that despite decades of denials, some of those balloons carried biological agents, namely anthrax, and quite likely bubonic plague. This new article tells all the details, with a dive, too, into the wartime operations of the FBI and Japan’s Noborito Institute.
Suppressed for Decades: FBI Reports Suggest Japanese WW2 Balloon Attacks on U.S. & Canada Included Biological Agents

Elvira Nabiullina needs to sit down and watch that link I posted above – Period !
Does she understand the debate ?
In my opinion Elvira does not. The interviewer who I thought was very fair and definitely not a thick ideologue and very willing to listen and add to the debate. Should be Elvira Nabiullina.
Elvira Nabiullina NEEDS to URGENTLY sit down with Stephanie and talk about it. Discuss it and debate it and start slashing Russian interest rates that currently sit at 16%.

It is more to do with Elvira’s education and how she views monetary policy. The whole debate is very nuanced buddy. Watch the link in its entirety with a cup of tea and I know you will get the debate immeadiately.

That link should be how the mainstream media carries out debates Scorpion. But the mainstream media is full of ideologues and GROUPTHINK. The interviewer was trying to get ” Gotcha ” moments, but even he realised it is more nuanced than he thought. In the end he added even more to the debate which is always a good thing in my view.

Had to wait for the transcript to be finished overnight but now it’s done, “Putin at the World Youth Festival” which is currently fading into our rearview mirrors. IMO, the quality of Q&As was much better than the Russia Calling marathon Putin arranges yearly. Most assuredly, the West would classify the event as subversive and not want anyone to know what happened there: Solidarity!

One thing the average Joe doesn’t understand is the leverage many big traders have made in the American securities market by borrowing in yen at basically no interest and invest in the S and P 500 with a dividend that pays oat more than the yen loan interest..
Great trade especially when the yen is cratering.
However, if you see the Yen rise like it did today the leverage works the opposite way as BOJ looks to increase rates the big boys get spanked on margin calls.
A huge Yen appreciation like to 120 115 in a coupe of months that would likely cause a crash like 2008.

That is a long and very broad reaching post but good. Seeing that you opened with comments on energy that are certainly valid, I would add that there is another type of energy and that is population. This impacts everything from food production, to manufacturing to military conflicts. In a word geopolitics.
The only way I can be of real value to the world is as a software engineer. The historians, philosophers, geopolitical analysts, and other domain experts here each have something to contribute to a global solution.
I feel as powerless as most people here do. And it’s true that we lack power in the geopolitics we discuss.
I spent part of my time in the last decade designing a software solution that matches these remote solar and wind electrical generation sites.
As the project manager, it’s my opinion that there is a vast intellectual capital sharing a common interest in humanity and a willingness, even desire, to contribute.
These are peaceful people that socialize together and have time available to contribute.
It is my belief that through proper use of social media we can unite to solve world hunger and poverty. I strongly believe that and can provide an argument for it.

I’m a bit late to pick up a point that b remarked in his recent Ukraine SitRep, but it’s a very interesting angle there, and I find it well worth to insert here for the barflies to ponder. b wrote

As the U.S. is now leaving it to Europe to pay the bill for the misadventure in Ukraine it would surely be helpful if some European negotiators could jump in. Unfortunately I fail to see any European leader who might be willing or able to do so.

I don’t see anyone either, but it appears that this problem is set to become much interesting in the not so distant future. And not just in the musings of armchair generalists and foreign policy wonks, but quite well for the plebs out there on the street. There are elections due, and as far as I can tell from the random encounters with my fellow germans, people will care. They’ll care a lot, actually.
It’s my impression that the NATO brainwash operation is highly effective only in a fairly small, yet very influential spectrum of german society. Urbanites with university degrees who are teachers, dentists, managers etc seem way more prone to the narrative than craftsmen and workers without “higher education”. I was amazed more than once when I had an opportunity to bring up the topic with such folk, most recently on a harbour ferry with a guy from the ticket control team on an empty boat. He absolutely saw through it all, and opined a few points I found really jaw-dropping for their clear-headed political sophistication. When I complemented him on this, he deferred, and said he didn’t study much etc, he’d just be talking stuff without any true insight there.
It is extremely revealing that this is not just a single one-off situation with a random stuff talker. These people do not fancy their own judgement as much as most academics will do, and quite likely their media habits are also much different. They escape the ruse in many cases, and I believe the situation in east Germany is more pointed still.
I can attest from my encounters with working-class women from the ex-GDR that they are the most soulful and heartwarm beings around. I was with a young coiffeur for while, and I feel embarassingly stupid to this day seeing myself next to her. But I’m drifting here … well: my point of interest, the angle that b’s observation provides, is that this very topic – How to deal with Russia now? – is absolutely capable to overturn the current party policy landscape in a way didn’t think possible, literally a moment ago.
People will care, and many of them are well capable of orientation outside the western narrative. They’ll be angry – in fact, they ARE already upset. When the antlaticist influence is waning, and I’ll assume that it will, there opens a huge space where election campaigns can pick up momentum. Now, who might do that, in the near to mid future?
I can only speak for Germany, but Sahra Wagenknecht’s new party will be right after this for sure. Her husband Oskar Lafontaine, who blogs on facebook, sounds a lot like many of the barflies here, he’s a realist and truth talker, also an elder statesman with a niche position in the Saarland parlament, and of course he’s got Sahra’s ears. Polls show her new party lingering about 30% currently, and the MSM trope is dangerously close to deranged denial: Querfront alu cap wearers that no one can take seriously. Oh boy, that might well turn out to be the arrogance which preceeds the fall, as a german saying goes.
And that is not all. The other big up-and-coming party AfD has taken to the quite remarkable position that they have no settled opinion in regards to Germany in NATO! – Being with Nato seems as good as full-on Imperium, but actually wanting to leave NATO is an option they might choose, and then all bets are probably off. It’s mind-boggling to imagine the hypocritical liars like Scholz, Uschi, Baerbock and the whole corrupted and disingineous establishment narrative-shaping apparatus suddenly left out in the cold, with no friends, no hearts, no ideas, and no clothes which might lend them even a hint of royalty.
I’m gobsmacked. What a time to be alive.

@David Horsman, 21:18 utc:, who said (in part):
” it’s my opinion that there is a vast intellectual capital sharing a common interest in humanity and a willingness, even desire, to contribute. ”
——-
David: I find this remark interesting because it parallels my own thinking about how humans can work together to solve more of our problems.
I have in mind collaborative product development, sort of like open source sw, only more broadly applied to create products that are contributed to the commons (e.g. like Creative Commons, or MIT license, etc.).

Fiscal Policy is the plucking of the goose in the here and now. MMT is the plucking of all the future geese. The deficiency in revenue can be filled with today’s borrowings or from borrowing from your kids and grandkids, without their consent, via inflation.

Emmanuel Todd (who became prominent last year) has a new book out, several have interviewed him and written articles. It sounds quite an interesting analysis. LD
In After the Empire: The Breakdown of the American Order (2001), Todd claims that many indices that he has examined (economic, demographic and ideological) show both that the United States has outlived its status as sole superpower, and that much of the rest of the world is becoming “modern” (declining birth rates etc.) far more rapidly than predicted. Controversially, he proposes that many US foreign policy moves are designed to mask what he sees as the redundancy of the United States. In his analysis, Putin’s Russia emerges as probably a more trustworthy partner in today’s world than the US.

No.
For the past fifty years the West has been trying to create a surrogate religion.
– human rights instead of the ten commandments, “right to life” instead of “thou shalt not kill”
– solidarity instead of “love thy neighbour”
– ngo’s instead of religious orders
– carbon credits instead of papal indulgences
– “international day of” instead of “saint of the day”
It’s christianity in all but name; which also explains why it’s not been very popular outside formerly Christian countries. In spite of a huge propaganda effort it’s been an all-around failure.

Here: If your IQ can handle it ?

You, obviously think it is like a household that borrows which is very dumb. You struggle to differentiate between the ” issuer ” of the currency and a ” user ” of the currency.
How can passing a US treasury which you hold as savings instead of cash to your children when you die. Be passing debts to your children and grandchildren. When what you are doing is passing your savings to your children and grandchildren.
Some ideologue has really fried your brains kupkee. Whoever instilled that nonsense in your brain. Treat them like a crack pipe – run away from them as fast as you can and stop smoking their bullshit.
And with pictures in case your IQ can’t handle the first link. Some people prefer crayons if they struggle to think for themselves but in general pictures generally help.
You probably think like most voters it works like the very first picture below.

Interesting economic stuff:
-US government having trouble selling debt at its bond auction, not even the primary dealers want to scoop unsold debt any more
-China is increasingly emptying the western metal exchange (COMEX) vaults of precious metals by demanding delivery
-China created an arbitrary market by offering more for gold than the paper gold price in the west. Consequentially, the gold deliveries are ending up in China, and Shanghai metal market is becoming the main gold market in the world

Low-tech solar energy is the thing of the future in my mind. Simple mirror arrays heating water pipes that drive a steam turbine, with the leftover heat going into a greenhouse. Or simply heating a stack of sand in a container, that will then release heat in the night into the heating system of a house. All of this fits into a backyard.

“One thing the average Joe doesn’t understand is the leverage many big traders have made in the American securities market by borrowing in yen at basically no interest and invest in the S and P 500 with a dividend that pays oat more than the yen loan interest..
Great trade especially when the yen is cratering.
However, if you see the Yen rise like it did today the leverage works the opposite way as BOJ looks to increase rates the big boys get spanked on margin calls.
A huge Yen appreciation like to 120 115 in a coupe of months that would likely cause a crash like 2008.”

To David Horsman. Yes, it’s a lovely sweet idea and there are examples of peoples living peacefully and cooperatively. A few would be Hopi, Zuni, Zia. Zia have as guiding principles: Be sound of mind; healthy of body; pure of spirit; help others. These things could work with small isolated groups far from the murderous lunatics of murika and the eu. Sigh.
To malenkov. Yes indeed. He may have to scoot if the military doesn’t back him. I wonder how many argies are moving to squat in the new West Bank plunder places. One notices that Macri is back in the saddle. I thought he was under the jail.

Michael A. Many years ago I built a passive solar house. South facing windows. Big overhang to shade out the summer sun. Winter temps down to the 0s F. The floor was: 2 x 12 ” joists on sleepers. The space between was filled to the top with clean dry builders sand. Given a sunny day, the floor absorbed enough heat which it later gave back to keep the house warm through the night. BTW, standard six inch insulation in walls, eight inches in roof, caulked sheathing and house wrap. Nothing fancy. It’s amazing that all houses aren’t built this way.

I was tempted to say much the same thing in response to the same drivel/driveler, but decided it would be a waste of time, so thanks for stepping up. Not only is it not “impossible to believe” but it’s trivial to believe that the latest liar and fraud spewing made-up crap to gullible morons is never going to be the last one; the long list of previous liars and frauds finding gullible morons to fleece (for “profit”) is why it’s so easy to see this “messy uhhh” crap continuing.
Maybe someday humanity will throw all this replacement mythology crap in the flusher like seems to have finally happened with Norse, Greek, and Roman mythology. People will tell fairy stories to their kids about fairies, angels, unicorns, demons, leprechauns, deities, ghosts, holy spirits, valkyries, archangels, valhalla, heaven, river styx, hell, etc, and everyone will have a good laugh about how utterly stupid people used to be. I can’t wait! But eventually another liar and fraud (either a messy uhh or for profit) will come along and ruin things again.

Alas, the BRICs are about to dethrone the world’s reserve currency. The value of our dollars could sink thirty percent or more overnight. The “unthinkable” approaches. I haven’t watched video and don’t plan to, but I can trust your perception of his long-form “2-minutes of hate” performance, given the concerted effort to bar MSM news corps from publishing their own transcripts of Biden’s actual, broadcast performance, customarily punctuated by audience response notation. Every “transcript” I’ve checked so far today is marked a copy of the text, or script, “as prepared for delivery and provided by the White House”. The result is a gaffe-proof presentation of the vigorous, well-meaning elderly social justice warrior whose campaign managers decided to project onto his election campaign. The tenor of scripted American democratic “values” at home and abroad is patently belligerent.
A couple of news publishers published annotated WH script as “fact check” documents.
CSPAN presents its video recording AND purported authentic transcript “compiled from uncorrected Closed Captioning”. (SIDEBAR option menu > “Text” > “Show Full Text” punctuated by audience response notation) I suppose, I’m not the only one who is unwilling to waste time on an attempt to verify Biden’s unexpected, flawless performance. I am more alarmed by message discipline exercised by federal authorities.

You’ve been saying it 4 years and been wrong. Time for some reflection me thinks – reflect on all things you have had wrong and how you completely misunderstood the monetary system.
Nope, ain’t going to happen is it. Self reflection is not in your vocabulary. Never has been. You are always projecting and not looking in the mirror.
Nearly a trillion $ in flows in the last 30 days!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uaPBXmKGilk
And over $7 trillion per year..
Over $100bn over last year…
And ideologues are calling recession and have been calling Armageddon since last quarter of 2020 lol.
Ideologues are completely bonkers, insane in the membrane. This simply can’t work out why stocks are at New highs. The answer is staring them in the face and on the end of their noses.
So what’s the ” leading flows ” Canuck ?
They even tell you. Hard to believe I know as you live in a fantasy that doesn’t reflect the real world.
Step1: Go to the Daily Treasury statement
https://www.fiscal.treasury.gov/reports-statements/dts/
Step2: Look under the heading withdrawals.
What is hilarious is if an ideologue wins and moves to a ” sound money ” approach. Money Scarcity
Here:
https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1722989
What do you make of that link ? Do you understand it ?
Then you will become bullish. You’ve missed the bull market since 2020 called recession lol.
Then scratch your head while money scarcity removes money from everybody and the market falls while you’ve suddenly turned bullish lol.
You have it back to front and upside down.
With flows over $7 trillion per year. The only thing that crashes the economy at this point is a severe outside shock – war, oil prices etc, etc…
The SP500 went from 2400 to 5100 you missed it all screaming recession. Where on earth do you think the flows end up ? Profits, capitalism is run on sales not money scarcity.
Duh!
Hello, Hello, is anybody in there ?

Then you need this to happen in the opposite direction

Only way to flee the $ is to spend them - Period. Or pay your taxes with them and they are lost forever. Shredded. This fixed exchange rate thinking by the ideologues has to stop and stop now. “I want the maximum cost of prescription drugs to be $22,000 $2,000 a year for everyone. Guys, I’ll be in trouble if I say this, but anyone who gets on Air Force One and flies with me to Toronto, Berlin, Moscow, excuse me, well, maybe even Moscow. And take your prescription with you, and I promise you, I’ll get 40 percent of the price you’re paying for it now. The same company, the same drug, the same place,” the US president said.
These statements of Biden were impromptu: they are not included in the pre-prepared text of the speech.

I am transferring the partial comment below from the older Palistinian thread to comment here:

…The ideologically driven, (religious, racist or political)[in the US] are generally poor and powerless, and could never actually unite with like minded to the point of being able to purge themselves of state agents, and then proceed to initiate and sustain a campaign of violence, much less one that could at least offer the hope of prisoner exchange and even more unlikely, victory.
I have seen Americans pushed far beyond what I imagined was tolerable, and there has been no response, at all. So I think civil war talk is fantasy.
There is a reason empires can often liquidate their own dissenters with ease
The whole system of an empire ensures the quashing of dissent.
To get back on topic, look at what the Palestinians have had to suffer before finally being able to present a true resistance and war on their own.
Posted by: UWDude | Mar 8 2024 7:57 utc | 157

The US may not be ripe for civil war, UWDude, but was the USSR ‘ripe’ for what happened to it? I would submit that the parallel Putin warned about has stayed on course and then some as far as governmental ineptness is concerned, though this will be a collapse on American issues and in American style. When it will come is anyone’s guess but it will come.
Fortunately there’s no USA hanging about to pick up the pieces.

Gold would have done much better in the past 5 years if Bitcoin didn’t exist as many investors whom historically would have bought gold bullion as a hedge bought Bitcoin.
Although, psychohistorian, there was price discovery after 1971 as gold went from $35/oz to $800 an ounce in 79/80.
Now with all the fiat printing and the Central Banks loaded up with bullion I feel it will be $3,000 in a year, $5,000 in three years as the US dollar crumbles in value and their deficits explode..

In 2001 I has a good gold property but with 2 kids, a mortgage, taking care of my father I was tight. I was offered $150k Canadian for the property the wife told me that we had to sell, we desperately needed the money; so I sold.
Five years later the guy whom I sold it too sold it to a major-IAMGOLD for $22 million.

Not a bad profit. After I became ill, I tried gold prospecting for a bit with a detector out on the edge of the sandy desert. I thought very few would have gone out there. That year gold was booming and I arrived mid winter. Winter is the prospecting season – nice sunny days instead of scorchers. But that year gold price au had boomed and 20,000 others before me had also acquired a licence. Everywhere I went I found fresh diggings where others just before me had found patches. I could get two ounces every 3 weeks or so, picking up what had been missed, but never run onto any fresh patches. Being crook I could only work at three to four hours a day. Good life though. Did that for about four months.

More idiocracy and problems for EU.
EU is implementing tariffs on Chinese EVs. But EU imports a lot of other stuff other than EVs, including electrical equipment, machine tools and plastics from China.
Russian oil revenues are going pretty strong and tax revenue is shielded.
While internal inflation in EU increases due to tariffs and deindustrialization, EU attempts to build a ‘war economy’.
EU has bet its entire financial future (and all together future of the bloc) on Ukraine, so they choose to simply double down by throwing 80 billion, and next 50 billion euros to Ukraine.
China isn’t that much affected by EU tariffs though as other exports can more or less replace anything lost in EU.

It is a good life in the bush.
We usually put a camper by a river and take our food and put them in bags we drop from trees. Never leave food in your tent or a trailer a bear can smell it for miles and will literally tear a camper to pieces going after a bit of food.
We cook on a fire which tastes much better than a gas BBQ.
When we run out of the food we brought (steak, cheese, pork chops, hamburgers-no veggies) we fish (I’m a bad fisherman, but most Northerners know how to fish and where)or shoot quail, once in a while a rabbit.
Sometimes outcrops (rocks out of the earth) will look like someone has taken a hammer and smashed them when it is brown bear (bigger than a black bear) literally tearing the rock up with its paws to eat bugs beneath.
We stay out of blueberry patches cause black bears consider them their property.
A buddy of mine, Mookie, a fellow prospector in 1997 was going through a blueberry patch (a shortcut) and got between a black bear cub and her mother. The mother got right up to him. Mookie (he is 1/2 Ojibwa and one half Irish) was carrying his axe-you always carry your axe while prospecting- he knew the only chance he had was to close in on the bear which he did, she ten slashed him with her paw and took off one of his testicles and tore up his inner thigh. But as she was doing that Mookie put his axe into the center of her head as hard as he could where it stayed and the bear ran away.
The conservation officers tracked the bear and killed her three days later where she still had the axe in her head.
Mookie got on a day time talk show re telling the morbid tale.

What the 1991-2020 average for February means is the normal / average CLIMATE over that 30 year period.
What the 2024 weather data is saying is the climate now in February 2024 has already significantly CHANGED from what the average climate was between 1990 to 2020

… … where and what could this be (other then what – and where – it already is). To the Daily Mail — Israel expert, maybe??
“Biden Administration consulted Israel expert on how to ‘force the Netanyahu coalition to collapse’ as president accuses the prime minster of ‘hurting Israel more than helping’ and insists Rafah invasion is ‘red line’ that must not be crossed”
Excerpt:
“Biden has known Netanyahu for 50 years and is a staunch ally of Israel, but the insider implied he could be at least discussing to option of removing him.
‘I have been asked by a serious administration figure what it is that will force the Netanyahu coalition to collapse,’ the Israel expert told New York Magazine.
‘They were interested in the mechanics, what can we demand which will collapse his coalition.’
Unlike the American political system, where the Republican and Democratic Parties dominate, Israel has numerous small parties that must team up to govern.
If enough of Netanyahu’s coalition partners pulled out, his Lukid Party would not have enough support for him to remain prime minister.
Former Israeli ambassador to the US Itamar Rabinovich told NY Mag the White House has been unhappy with Netanyahu for years.”

The earth is coming out of an ice age, the planet warms up then in 50,000 or so years there will be another ice age and so on; this natural cycle has absolutely nothing to do with the human race.

Sermon
E’gads – the panto season went from the opening song to full on plot twists this week.
It’s as if the tv script writer rooms have been sent to hothouse all the story arcs for the season for ALL the shows – which are of course all generic and even have characters crossing across the shows bringing their audiences with them.
You know? Putting little secret policemen in each viewers mind. A personal stasi! Who needs a secret police.with such Orwellian marvels.
The whole police and intelligence procedural shows – the NCS/CIA/SpecialOps/wandering lone man of justice type with mythical highly trained skills, full technological control, supposedly wholly holy , spiritual, with the sprinkle of Judaic righteousness, worshipped by pure wasp USAians warrior type common man and blonde leaderines… all very hep!
That is the modern Church of America – the Televisual Pulpit from which the Biblical Stories are rendered upon the illiterate populations. Yes wholly connived illiteracy. A return to control of Peoples before the printing presses gave access to literacy that raised the masses to revolution when they read the words themselves and more wrote them.
That is the USA – an experimental cauldron and laboratory of the Dr Frankenstein’s of the Western World. A place to test the control of humanity. By the shapeshifters.
That is where all the transhumanism is created and set forth upon the masses as the Monster That Lives!
All else is just drama, the supreme leaders , their ‘praetorians’ who determine which Caesar shall stroll the palaces, building statues to themselves whilst they answer only to the Living Gods – who are bored and need amusement playing with mortals as their toys.
That’s pretty much all there is to it! A bunch of bored delinquent superpowerful super rich making sport , setting their prize cockerels against each other for their amusement, wanting to keep themselves within their own walled garden.
Yes they put skin in the game otherwise where’s the sport?
They have put up signs to keep the wider humanity to keep out – with that Wokeness and Transhumanism of their populations as the punishment for trespassing upon the Millenia long control of the Collective West.
That is also the reason for the massive immigration from Africa and Asia – to form the diasporas that will be trained in our western psyche of Woke and Trans to be unleashed upon the Global South a generation or two down the line.
Shape shifted into the house slaves of the massas fighting their own blood relatives as the 5+1 Eyeds stormtroopers.
It is a very sophisticated weapon, another in a line of such super weapons unleashed upon the imperial natives – from religions to monarchy to nations states to democracy to capitalism and Marxism to fascism supremacism to fantasy and mass media of TODAY.
Where is the villain? She/he/it is right in front of you on every TeeVee screen , cinema and billboard.
Our only hope is the great tide of Humanity and real Civilisation Rising and lifting our masses clear of our petty gods- washing away their stinking palaces and stables – setting us free after so many centuries.
If that can only be done by war – then let it be – the innocent Palestinians and minced unwilling Ukrainians , the continued sacrifices of Russians dying to defeat fascism again the Resistance that stands against the hoary imperialism. They all Demand that we chose our sides. For humanity and civilisation we must fight where we stand.
Hang that little traitorous secret policeman sneak in our minds to start with.

“I have in mind collaborative product development, sort of like open source sw, only more broadly applied to create products that are contributed to the commons (e.g. like Creative Commons, or MIT license, etc.).
I’d like to hear more of your thoughts on this subject, or you can contact me offline. See my web site at http://www.realeconomy.org if you have any interest.”

Hi all, I ended up spending some time on Tom’s site. If you are at all into hydroponics I recommend having a look at his project. Nice work Tom.
We are thinking along similar lines. I believe both licenses are well suited. One key objective I have is building local (even on the device) knowledge bases that would include designs like yours. I’m looking to aggregate farming and building databases for low income areas targeted to their locale.
I’m also looking to provide discussion and comments on ALL sites as a browser based social media tool. For example, people could discuss a NYT article privately and across social media. Beyond free speech, a problem there, the purpose to is to feed this in summary to teams of experts. So it has hierarchy and feedback between levels.
For example, where your interests lie, hydroponics not only deserves a database, but a community and technical people advancing the subject within the commons. This would be applied across domains. That’s the concept in plain words.

Colloquialism Chuckle of the Day!!!
“Matt Gaetz (a US Senator) added that it’s frustrating when former President Donald Trump is being prosecuted for mishandling of classified documents while Biden is being treated differently “because the elevator is not going to the top floor.”
Lmao.
I love all those sorts of metaphors. Had not heard that one before. Could be original. As well as the universally known ones, every country and culture has their own unique ones. What are yours?
