They so mad. As far as foreign policy goes, it looks like he wants to get closer to china and india, further from west. That’s why they mad.

Of course Putin knew the election was coming when he mentioned Indonesia.. ..I just took note of it, unaware of the election, but thinking he mentioned it for a reason.
I have a friend there, (we dont talk politics though, and he is Christian minority), but I think Indonesians kind of feel like a left out and forgotten nation, though they are massive.
Also, the constant characterization of Muslims as “violent” grates on them, because Indonesia converted peacefully and that conversion is a huge part of their history and culture… …and Indonesia is hardly a warlike culture.
So I thought Putin’s mention of Indonesia as a rising, powerful, modern nation of 600,000,000 was like a friendly shout out to a people who feel forgotten.

I wanted to repost this item by Larry Johnson btw, he put it out on the 8th.

This just posted at State of the Nation. It reads legit. If this is a fake it is well done. I’m inclined to believe it is real. However, is it possible this was an AI generated interview courtesy of ChatGPT? What do you think?
UPDATE — I have confirmed with someone who has firsthand knowledge of the interview that this is a FAKE. Yep. Seemed too good to be true and was written in a fairly clever fashion. Looks like this in a demonstration of what AI via ChatGPT or some other platform can do. In any event, let’s see what the real one is like when it is released in a little less than 9 hours. I plan to do a live stream analysis once it is out.

What does matter is that is how Putin views this conflict. And we have to deal with it. Period.
What also matters is that those who stand behind Putin are even less patient and circumspect than he is.
In order to avoid that bigger war only the oligarch class wants, we, as people, have to accept some responsibility for it getting to this point. Without that there can be no basis for a negotiated settlement.

At about the 1.38 mark is a graph from a single recent Iceland core that at the moment only goes back to the last glacial maximum. It too shows the about 4 degree fluctuations since temperatures peaked after the Younger Dryas.
We are currently in a long cool era of the holocene period that looks to have begun sometime after the tenth century, perhaps as late as 1400. An artificial on that Greenland core that I read some time ago did give the century in which this cool period started. Instruments for measuring temperature ect were invented when global average temperature was at its lowest since coming out of the younger dryas 10,000 years ago. From that article, this current very cool half millennia or so is believed to have been caused by a volcanic eruption.

Ah! Taking us back to the French and Rainbow Warrior, DunGroanin! I was actually down there just north of Auckland when all that came to a head – me and some of my little family, we were there in lovely Whangaparaoa. (Must be my capacity to attract Mephistopheles while not minding my ps and qs.) It was a shining moment for New Zealand though, at least for further north citizen-ones who spotted the perpetrators of the skulduggery. Bravo them!
