No end to the Genocide in Gaza.

@AI
It won’t end till they push all the Palestinians out. Not just those in Gaza but the West Bank too. And who’s going to stop them? They are backed by the world’s lone superpower and its vassals in Europe.

AI@1….it ends when the Squatters all go back to the Bronx. Voluntarily, or in boxes. Their choice. Good read on Karl’s substack, but as long as the Axis of Resistance has no viable AD, it really is just a duck shoot on the ground. A few missiles killing a few Green Card wannabees will not scare the US away. I don’t think, nor have I seen yet, any evidence that the resistance can bring enough hardware to the table, to totally eradicate an illegal US base.

The neo cons, most American and you still believe the US is the ‘lone super power’ yet by all analysis, military, economic and geopolitically, it is not.
However, it is still a great power as is China and Russia.
The Anglo/Zionists will be stopped in the next year or two.

Great powers; trapped in border disputes with neighbors? Great Powers exercise their power, see USA. Open borders. Their ships sinking? There planes being shot out of the air? We have yet to see the emergence of another Great Power…..how we wait.

US forces loot more Syrian oil
The oil theft and smuggling operation comes two days after a brutal US attack on Syria and Iraq
US occupation troops in Syria’s northeastern Jazira region looted 60 tankers of crude oil and transported it through an illegal border crossing into its military bases in Iraq, Syrian state media reported on 4 February.
“The American occupation continued its plundering of Syrian oil wealth, transferring it from the areas it occupies in the Hasakah countryside to its bases in Iraqi territory through illegal crossings,” SANA news outlet reported

There is so little patience.
The Axis of Resistance has been showing the way. When an enemy is making a mistake, don’t interrupt them.
Yes, people are dying. We all will die. So many in this conflict are fulfilled and satisfied to die as martyrs.
At least these people dying are dying for a purpose. To help birth a better world for billions. Most of us can only dream of participating in something with such nobility in our lives.

I do not think that the children of Gaza agree with your statement. Hamas fighters in Gaza may agree with you but they continue to stay in the tunnels while the Red Crescent attempts to save Gaza’s children from slaughter.
I understand that Hamas can not fight Israel in the open but it’s frustrating to watch more and more children die as people say Israel is losing while killing 3-4% of Gaza and demolishing whole cities.

The most benign form of protest and by far the safest, is the Boycott. Anyone not familiar with the name, look him up. Another gift from Ireland to the World. No heads rolling down the streets, gallows pole galleries, or limbless orphans.
Big shout out to all those consciously aware and making the effort…..
….’spet tiss a bit more complicated than simple boycott of yore……
At the old Iraqwar.ru site (lep was verve back then, Hack was a regular), Iraq War 1.0, was the first time I really embraced ‘the boycott’ making it a component of my personal protest, and asking others to make the conscious effort to also use discretion when buying goods from a Regime that practices Genocide, going on close to eighty years now….but the beast has diversified now, their goods get relabeled, and through deceit they continue their
oppression.
So it’s not enough to just target products, it needs to be full court press, boycott the countries that support this Genocide.
My 2p, shop local, buy and support local made goods and products, travel local, staycation local, reduce consumer materialism, reuse, reduce…..get as Zen as possible. And I’ll be honest, just with diet alone and the ability to get fresh fruit, oranges etc, one can’t be expected to completely boycott everything…..just use discretion and common sense.

Meanwhile in Izrael

Speeches at the weekly Tel Aviv rally demanding the return of hostages held in Gaza took a more strongly political tone than ever before on Saturday night, with speakers accusing the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of being indifferent to the hostages’ fate and Netanyahu of being guided by personal considerations and stalling to avoid investigations and elections.

Netanyahu had several reasons to LIHOP.
https://www.timesofisrael.com/latest-hostage-rally-demanding-deal-with-hamas-takes-on-stronger-political-tones/
No word yet about the demise of “Israel”.
Whatever legitimacy (I know) Izrael ever had is gone.
It used it’s own citizens as sacrificial lambs
on Oct 7th and since then has been committing genocide.
Treachery, betrayal, genocide and theft
goes on the head stone of Izrael.

When put in context to the Art of War the Russian and Chinese strategies start to become clear.
Never corner your enemy with no options of retreat or de-escalation. A desperate enemy becomes dangerous.
Of course that has to be put in context to a dying Empire that perceives its decline as an existential threat. It’s a perception management problem.
It’s my view that Publications like RT have been putting much of their effort into social engineering a less extremist G7.

Every American I know who has spent time in Palestine comes back angry, disgusted and traumatized. I’ve yet to meet someone who says “it’s not that bad. It’s their fault and they deserve it”. I’ve met many who went believing Israel were the good guys and Palestinians screwed themselves over only to come back with an entirely disgusted view of Israel.
I came back in a state of shock. I witnessed in real life things I had only read about in history books. Things I never believed a government could do in modern times. I had a neutral view of Israel prior to my trip. During my trip I was extremely skeptical and even pissed off several Palestinians with my lines of questioning. When I came back to the states and began processing everything… I couldn’t turn on the lights or get myself out of bed for a week. What I saw was unimaginable. It was a cruelty aimed at a group of generous and warm people with a very very clear intent- to get rid of them. And I couldn’t believe the group doing it to these people had it done to them not long ago. They took similar tactics and weaponized them against others. That is what I saw and I can’t unsee it. The children in the schools would stop me and beg me to come home and tell America to stop. They know it’s us allowing this abuse.
Myself and everyone I know comes back disgusted with Israel. And many of us weren’t even in Gaza witnessing war. Everyday normal life for Palestinians is cruel and it’s 100% controlled by Israel. And despite what we’ve been spoon fed our whole lives, it’s not done because the Palestinians are violent and dangerous, it’s done to rid the region of them. To make their lives so miserable they either leave or violently rise up giving Israel an excuse to take more land. And the Israelis are not shy about this when you speak to them. Some might couch it with statements like “well we tried peace but they didn’t accept it”. It doesn’t matter how they phrase it, they still end up in the same place which is “they can’t stay” and “we want them gone”.
Nov 1, 2023 · 9:53 AM UTC
I want to add that the cruelty was aimed at all Palestinians no matter their religion or politics. Christian Palestinians, American Palestinians (there trying to rebuild) Jewish Palestinians (yes, they exist!), Muslim Palestinians and Agnostic Palestinians. It made no difference. The cruelty against them is the same. Settlers attack and even kill, IDF does nothing. Settlers steal, IDF does nothing. On the other hand a Palestinian fights back, their mother’s home gets destroyed as punishment. Palestinians were ALL in unison about who is their greatest oppressor. It was shocking to see.
Here is my stream about what I saw right after coming back. It was 4 years ago almost exactly. Right before the Pandemic.

Parents have grief over their dead hostage son killed by IDF bombing of Gaza.
I doubt they will ever let themselves believe Netanyahu LIHOP.

Ron’s parents expressed their grief and anger in the form of a 40 cm. x 40 cm. stone plaque they placed on Ron’s grave in the traditional ceremony held on the 30th day after death. The inscription said: “Abducted, abandoned and sacrificed in Gaza by the blunder government in the October 7 tragedy.”The stone and the inscription, she says, was paid for by the family and the text was authorized by the IDF’s casualties unit. But astonishingly, after the ceremony, the plaque was taken away by a woman from the Defense Ministry.

If they knew they would pack up and leave Palestine.

History

“We have neighbors who are our bitter enemies … I send them messages all the time … these days, right now … I mislead them, destabilize them, mock them, and then hit them over the head. It’s impossible to reach an agreement with them … Everyone knows this, but we control the height of the flames,” Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, states.

April 2023
He called it

But even that assessment comes with a caveat. “I predict that there will soon be a major security incident that will reshuffle the deck and put the reform into deep freeze,” a senior government official told Haaretz. “If that doesn’t happen, the only question that remains is Netanyahu’s ability to stay in power. That’s the key question.

@4…..the West stopped? By whom? With what?
Bankruptcy happens slowly at first, and then fast. The West reached moral bankruptcy decades ago. They couldn’t stop lying, it became their second nature. They have now progressed to the stage of industrial bankruptcy. They can’t produce their own shells in significant numbers. Their last fighter design, the F35 is the laughing stock of the world. They are currently advancing towards military bankruptcy. Just can’t recruit the number of soldiers they need.
Political bankruptcy is just around the corner, if the US 2024 elections are anything to go by. Financial and geostrategic bankruptcy will eventually follow.
Take the long view! Look at this through oriental eyes. There is no need for anybody to stop the West. They are well on the path of collapsing themselves, no external help needed, and the process is accelerating. Be patient and chill out.

The history of the region provides ample lessons in resistance to and victory over occupation and genocide. The text below is machine translated with minor editing:
Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani (nicknamed the Knight of Baghdad) carried out a renewal movement to spread the spirit of faith and opened his school in Baghdad, relying on a charitable endowment to provide food and housing for the school’s patrons. Then the pioneers of the school set out in all regions of the Islamic world, following the same school approach and practice, and opened nearly 400 schools. Their slogan was, “To each his own jurisprudential and intellectual school of thought, and our goal is one, which is to liberate Jerusalem from the yoke of the Crusader occupation,” which had seized it for nearly 90 years.
Al-Jilani adopted a behavioral approach in purification – “creating a human at the table of faith” – and Al-Jilani actually succeeded in preparing the generation of “pioneers” who carried the idea and then spread it through their schools in all the regions. A new generation of both genders emerged. Where history recorded women with the degree of issuing fatwas in the Levant. “During the period when Saladin al-Ayyubi was in power” the number reached 800 women graduates of the original Al-Jilani School or its branches.
Then Salah al-Din come at the top of a generation bursting with vitality and sacrifice, harmonized by a vision “of common denominators,” the most prominent of which is the cleansing of Jerusalem from the abomination of occupation, as well as respect for the other, regardless of his intellectual or jurisprudential sect, as well as asceticism in this world – by keeping it in the hand and not in the heart, and this was emphasized by Al-Jilani in his speech. over and over. He called for adopting reasons, contradicting and fighting what had become entrenched in the deviant Sufi discourse, stressing that abandoning reasons is contrary to Sharia law, as he considered that there is no difference between one who abandons reasons and one who abandons prayer.
Based on the book “This is How the Generation of Saladin Appeared” by Majid ‘Irsan Al-Kilani.
p.s. Disclaimer: I reject any characterization of our struggle as a religious one, and the above does not do that. I am not advocating or promoting anything but any resistance that is faithful to the oppressed people.

As I said at the end of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions thread, that probably no one will see,
“Boycott Israeli products! Don’t buy anything with a barcode starting with 729!” (Paraphrased.)
WAIT A MINUTE.
I searched my pantry to see if there was anything with such a barcode. The only one I found was some VineRipe Ketchup. The label clearly says Made in USA. Besides that, if 729 means Israel, then the next two digits must be for the company, since the last five digits (separated from the first five) designate the actual product. If this “729” stuff was true, there could only be 100 companies selling barcoded products in all of Israel!
So I did some more research before leaping headfirst into taking the ketchup back for a refund. A little skepticism about any claim is a good strategy.
This explanation makes logical sense to me:
Misleading barcode claims resurface amid calls for boycott of Israeli goods
https://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.34BU7EC
Posted by: Dalit | Feb 4 2024 10:47 utc | 336
Addendum:
I don’t know why this company would register its barcoded products through a company in Israel, maybe it deserves to be boycotted for that, but the point is that “729” is not some magic number that will guarantee that your boycott target deserves it, nor does it even guarantee you’re targeting every company that deserves it. As I see it, looking for a “729” is wasted effort that could be better spent elsewhere.

“Isn’t Shapps Jewish?”
Posted by: Jonathan W | Feb 4 2024 16:25 utc | 12
Yes , he is Jewish and I would call him an Anglo/Zionist; he is one and exactly literal.
He also seems to be somewhat of a crook (see below-this is from wiki(1) so if its this bad on wiki, the reality will necessarily ); he will do well in the bribing, kickbacking, terrorism crony world of the Military Industrial Complex world -he will sparkle I’m sure, but , not unfortunately for the British people.
What I found rather amusing is that he got ‘cancer’ changed his name said he didn’t use other 3 other names than remembered but didn’t remember his other name-if you wrote fiction like this your editor would laugh you out of your pitch:
1.. Shapps founded a web publishing business, How To Corp Limited, with his wife while he was recovering from cancer.[24] The company marketed business publications and software. The existence of at least three people who allegedly provided testimonials for the company has been questioned.[25] Shapps stood down as a director in July 2008; his wife remained as director until the company was dissolved in 2014.[26]
In September 2012, Google blacklisted 19 of the Shapps’ business websites for violating rules on copyright infringement related to the web scraping-based TrafficPayMaster software sold by them.[27][28] Shapps’s web marketing business’s 20/20 Challenge publication also drew criticism. It cost $497 and promised customers earnings of $20,000 in 20 days. Upon purchase, the “toolkit” was revealed to be an ebook, advising the user to create their own toolkit and recruit 100 “Joint Venture Partners” to resell it for a share of the profits.[29][30]
Shapps’s use of the names Michael Green, Corinne Stockheath and Sebastian Fox attracted media attention in 2012. He denied having used a pseudonym after entering parliament and, in 2014, threatened legal action against a constituent who had stated on Facebook that he had. In February 2015, he told LBC Radio: “I don’t have a second job and have never had a second job while being an MP. End of story.”[31]
In March 2015, Shapps said he had made an error in his interview with LBC and was “mistaken over the dates” of his outside employment. He said he had “over-firmly denied” having a second job. David Cameron defended Shapps, saying he had made a mistake and it was time to “move on”.[32][33][34] In March 2015, Dean Archer, the constituent previously threatened with legal action by Shapps, threatened Shapps with legal action.[35][36][needs update]”
Wow.

Since Bellingcat and Olof Palme’s son were mentioned in a previous thread, it is good to know Bellingcat has proved to be worthy of the trust that Joakim placed in them:
“Bellingcat researcher and trainer Michael Sheldon painstakingly analysed an image of a member of the Russian paramilitary Rusich Group committing an apparent war crime.
Through a meticulous analysis of the camouflage pattern on the man’s uniform and visual evidence of fighters in the unit across the web, he was able to connect the uniform the man is wearing to Alexey Milchakov, a notorious neo-Nazi and former Rusich leader.”

The Rusich thing is located in Syria hence this thread. And my oh my, here it comes: the breaking news from Bellingcat itself. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bellingat some info on who killed Palme but prefers not to release it. This is gross:
“We also were honoured to receive the 2024 Olof Palme Prize, given out annually by Sweden’s Olof Palme Memorial Fund for outstanding achievement in the spirit of its namesake, the late Swedish prime minister and statesman who notably campaigned against war crimes and apartheid. Eliot Higgins spoke to Swedish national broadcaster SVT about the award.”

The resistance groups operate, more or less tolerated, from state territory. They are weaker and less equiped as the states army etc.
The states itself are not able to solve the problem in short time.
The presence of us military basis is the consequence of weakness (of a state).
They should look for the supply and the costs of the base.

Scott Ritter gave an illuminating account of who many of the Jewish prisoners taken by Hamas, were. They are / were intelligence officers. Hamas overran an army base bordering Gaza that was responsible for intelligence operations throughout Gaza. They captured everything and everyone including computers with lists of all IDF’s informers in Gaza. Some were killed but several intelligence officers were captured. An intelligence and espionage disaster for Israel.
That is why to say that Israel are less than motivated to rescue their hostages is the understatement of the whole Holocene. No – the IDF are trying to kill all their own intelligence officers held hostage. They killed some recently by gassing a tunnel. And they won’t stop. The hostages’ relatives know this and that’s why they’re so angry.

Glad you’re here for this one.
Would you agree with my thought that the heavy pressure of NATO/US makes it virtually
impossible for us as a state to not line up with them when it comes to Ukraine but
that pressure is not there when it comes to Palestinians so we are allowed to support them?
Extending that thought I think it’s feasible that without the pressure of NATO/US we may
actually have at least stayed neutral when it comes to the SMO or maybe even supported the SMO
based on our experience with the Nazis in WWII.

For sure the government has been been stripped naked wrt. Ukraine, there is no room for independent position, and Stoltenberg is the guarantee it remains so. Maybe today with the international outrage wrt. the genocide in Gaza there is a more wiggle room. So maybe you have a point. In 2011 that freedom wasn’t there.

Extending that thought I think it’s feasible that without the pressure of NATO/US we may
actually have at least stayed neutral when it comes to the SMO or maybe even supported the SMO

Based on our history it makes no sense at all to support the Nazis in Ukraine, so yes.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz is now reporting that an Israeli bank is going to block UNWRA’s bank account. The following is from Middleeasteye’s live feed, which so far has been accurate in their reporting. Israel authorities, BTW, have done a partial investigation and now say that they have only been able to confirm 6 so-called ‘Hamas terrorists’ working for UNWRA (not 12 as they originally claimed), but they still want UNWRA disbanded. Oh, and far-right Zionist asshole, Ben-Gvir, says Biden is insufficiently subservient to Israel and shouldn’t be calling for humanitarian aid to Gaza or sanctioning Israeli settlers. He backs Donald Trump for US president, saying, “If Trump was in power, the US conduct would be completely different.”
The blurb about UNWRA is posted in full below:
————-
Israeli newspaper Haaretz is reporting that an Israeli bank has notified UNRWA that it is blocking the agency’s bank account due to “tangible suspicions it is transferring funds to terror groups in Gaza”.
The bank, which was not named in the report, said it had received information of unusual activity including untraceable transfers in the UNRWA’s account, and issued multiple alerts.
Fifteen donor countries withdrew their funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) after a leaked Israeli intelligence assessment claimed a dozen of the agency’s staff were involved in the October 7 attacks.
Earlier today, UNRWA’s commissioner-general said his agency had not yet been shown any evidence to corroborate these claims.
British newspaper the Financial Times also reported that it had looked at the assessment and it did not provide evidence for the claims.

Seems like the knives are being sharpened within the Israeli cabinet.
From Middle East Eye’s live stream:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hit out at National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
The interview centred on US ties to Israel. (L.B.: Gvir stated he wants Jewish settlers to return to Gaza, and criticised US President Joe Biden for pressing for humanitarian aid deliveries to the enclave.)
“I don’t need help to know how to navigate our relationship with the US and the international community, while standing up for our national interests,” Netanyahu said.
“That doesn’t mean we don’t have disagreements, but, so far, we have managed to overcome them with determined and considered decisions,” he added.

No, Bibi, you don’t have “disagreements”. When in the midst of war members of the war cabinet start contesting publicly one another, this is not a disagreement, this is a power struggle for influence and/or political points.
This public discordance is good news and clearly shows things are not going “according to plan”.
When we see more knives out in the open, we’ll know the blame game for the defeat will have commenced.
Just like in Ukraine.

Mark2 . Short answer no one will. 20 years of bombing in Afghanistan didn’t win them that war. Same with Vietnam, they can bomb away swatting mosquito’s. A boxer exhausts himself throwing punches to early in rounds. Sure there is human carnage behind every moment it’s happening but empires have to fall by them selves or with help. With nukes no one’s coming to invade , so it’s really down to usa uk citizens to force the change themselves if they want it faster. I had put a lot of data on My Heritage before I realised it is an Israeli outfit. Bought out by a San Francisco company since, but the operation on the ground continues unchanged. Curiously it does not appear on the BDS list we have been discussing. Perhaps somebody reading this can put that right. Craig Murray has an important post today>
He looks at the ludicrous faked ‘evidence’ that Aussie supporters of Gaza were chanting “Gas the Jews” at a demo in Canberra.
He makes it clear that the video in question is as dodgy as one of those famous nine bob notes. And that this is obvious to a child. To everyone in fact but the media and their accomplices in the government.
It’s worth reading- the implications are extremely sinister. The ruling class clearly sees itself as being very close to its most ancient of desires: the complete censorship of all information and the proscription and punishment of any dissent. And never more than when that dissent is obviously and totally justified.
With Julian Assange due to be sold to the US any day now Murray’s column is frightening.
https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2024/02/quality-and-propaganda/
Equally sinister in a very similar way is the disgraceful course of the Public Enquiry into the death of Dawn Sturgess in Amesbury. A case obviously linked with the Skripal affair and already a new low for the British Legal system.
It turns out that everything in the enquiry has been arranged to prevent the emergence of anything close to the truth.

It’s not necessary to isolate USUK from the rest of the world to bring the empire down. All the feverish activity of resource wars and regime change for the last several decades is the result of the requirement of a capitalist economy to have major inputs from ‘outside’ the system- ie, Foreign resource extraction, labor costs forced down to convert resources into goods, and profit realization via exchange- ie, sales to new markets. If this system is contained in too small an area, the contradiction between the extraction of profit and the lack of ability to purchase the fruits of their own labor inevitably crashes the economy.
It appears that what the core USUK system needs is something on the order of 5% to 10% growth to keep from crashing. The US is achieving this at the expense of the UE, Germany in particular. What the Axis needs to do to bring down the empire is simply to limit USUK economic growth to 3%, or thereabouts. Given its access to EU and Latin America, this may be difficult to achieve, but the constant bleeding of unwinnable wars has its own destabilizing effect, because it shovels enormous profits into the MIC, without providing any relief to consumer price inflation. Rather, it stimulates more inflation, making achieving the required level of growth even harder.
