Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

Palestine SitRep: Sanitizing Language While The War Escalates

The New York Times has claimed that Israel is cutting back its brutal war in Gaza:

The Israeli military has begun a new and less intense phase of its invasion of Gaza, its chief spokesman said on Monday, after weeks of pressure from the United States and other allies to scale back an offensive that has caused widespread devastation and civilian deaths.

The Nation however finds that this is certainly not the case:

The Israeli Defense Forces spokesman, Radm. Daniel Hagari, gave the Times the interview that it used for its headline. But Hagari’s quotes never actually promise the “less intense phase” in the Times paraphrase. Hagari instead describes the focus of the pitiless Israeli campaign shifting southward—while his superiors in the Israeli government indicate that it could expand regionally.

The Times isn't the only main stream media to lie about the war. CNN is routing all news through its Jerusalem bureau where an Israeli military censor takes care that everything is 'sanitized'. This while the Washington Post is sending out its most Zionist reporter to write a hit piece about pro-Palestinian news sites.

The Canadian Broadcast Corporation is using harmless language to describe Israeli air attacks while it brutalizes reports of Hamas ground attack. It even justifies this:

“Different words are used because although both result in death and injury, the events they describe are very different,” Waugh wrote. “The raid saw Hamas gunmen stream through the border fence and attack Israelis directly with firearms, knives and explosives. Gunmen chased down festival goers, assaulted kibbutzniks then shot them, fought hand to hand, and threw grenades. The attack was brutal, often vicious, and certainly murderous.”

“Bombs dropped from thousands of feet and artillery shells lofted into Gaza from kilometers away result in death and destruction on a massive scale, but it is carried out remotely,” Waugh continued. “The deadly results are unseen by those who caused them and the source unseen by those [who] suffer and die.”

All these censorship and disinformation efforts hide the reality of the brutal war from the western public.

This while the extremely brutal Israel attacks on Gaza continue as the occupation forces now move into the center of the strip:

Israeli attacks around central Gaza’s last remaining hospital caused hundreds of displaced civilians to flee over the weekend and forced most medical workers to evacuate, leaving wounded people with no good options for seeking care as fighting intensifies in the area.

Organizations including Doctors Without Borders, the International Rescue Committee and Medical Aid for Palestinians have pulled their staff from al-Aqsa Hospital in recent days, after the surrounding areas in the Deir al-Balah region came under drone attacks and sniper fire, and residents received warnings from the Israel Defense Forces to evacuate.

The people who had already fled from north Gaza now have to move further south towards Rafah where Israel is bombing them too.

The targeted killing of journalists and academics continues. However none of these are Hamas and Israel's declared aim of eliminating it is certainly not in sight. Hamas missile strike on targets in Israel continue. Even though most are harmless they cause alarms. In the north of Israel the tit for tat attacks between Hizbullah and the occupation forces continues likewise.

Ali Hashem علي هاشم @alihashem_tv – 9:54 UTC · Jan 9, 2024

Hezbollah announces the targeting of the northern region command headquarters of the Israeli army in the city of Safed (13 kilometres from the border) with a number of explosives laden drones. The attack was in retaliation to Israel’s killing of Saleh Arouri and Wissam Tawil.

This was the deepest attack by Hizbullah since October 8. Later Israel attacked the burial of Wissam Tawil, a member of Hizbullah's special forces. The number of alarms in Israel from rockets launched from the north are growing on a daily basis.

Israel is driving this escalation while Hizbullah is still holding back. Its missiles could reach far further and will do so should Israel continue to escalate.

The U.S. is alarmed about the Israeli attempt to draw it into the conflict:

In private conversations, the administration has warned Israel against a significant escalation in Lebanon. If it were to do so, a new secret assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) found that it will be difficult for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to succeed because its military assets and resources would be spread too thin given the conflict in Gaza, according to two people familiar with those findings.

Private warnings are useless as long as Israel still gets U.S. support.

The Biden administration wants to be seen supporting Israel.

It also wants to be seen tamping down and ending the conflict.

But it can't have it both ways.

Shutting down ammunition support for Israel, if only for a short time, is likely the only way to bring some senses to Israeli minds.

Not really an “air lift” as much as “air drop”. Here’s a video link ( kinda cool watch) and I’ll repost article as well.

Yes, why DO those states wish to retain Israel as an extant independent state? It’s all about protection of the narrative…that which I call the “JudieChristieMagickMindfuck”. Lot to swallow there, huh? Magic/Magick is real…more real than I$rael. We have been engorged by the Kali Yuga, the age of destruction and devolution for its 6,000 Y.O. cyclical span. The narrative centers on the Old Testicles and its jealous father god…and all the blastings emanating forth from that major mind-control meme.
When the Roman Emperor Constantine stuck back at the original Jesusite and Gnostic movements and with the able assistance of Eusebius of Caesarea and his cronies and stooges; he set out to ESTABLISH a top-down, tyrannical mind-control religious institution which would serve as the horizontal arm of his Great Historical Double-Cross. Under that novel system, most of the Empire’s subject were no longer slaves to the centralized state, but also to a deracinating and colonialist ideology which destroyed all other forms of religion, spirituality and wisdom and ultimately concluded where ONLY the clergy remained literate…their only frame of reference being Constantine’s creation, the “Holy” Bible and its various appendages and iterations as concocted by the Church Fathers.
This devious narrative, central to the hijacking of the hijacking of the being of Jesus and those who followed his spiritual teachings…ultimately devolved the deracinated folks of Western Europe into mere slaves and serfs, as subject to that Great Historical Double-Cross…is now crumbling right before our eyes as sensitives, empaths and much of the young are simply rejecting their programming and opening their eyes to see and their ears to hear.
This spiritual renaissance will ultimately doom the Old World Order as is now shattering in the face of Cosmic time cycles.

Aristodemos:
The following is merely speculation on my part, but as the scales fall from my eyes, I’ve come to see the world from a certain perspective, and that perspective indicates several possible scenarios as to why outsiders want to implement a two-state solution in Palestine.
First, the Western financial system has as its foci the network of banks owned by the Rothschild clan. Whatever the Swiss may claim, or the City of London, Paris, Wall Street, etc. the hub of the network is on territory of what is called the State of Israel. Thus, if the State of Israel ceases to exist, there exists a large probability that the network will sustain irreparable damage. As a consequence, the Zionists will have to find refuge in other countries, and quite frankly, no one wants them. Their failures in Germany and Hungary immediately after the Great War did not give them pause as they seemed to be successful in Russia. Of course, they didn’t count on Stalin winning the power struggle in the Central Committee. They can already taste their coming defeat in the US; the population is armed, and deep-down hates them. Only American political and business elites submit to the Zionists because those deviants allowed the Zionists to create portfolios of Kompromat on them.
Second possible reason is that the Zionist entity serves as an excellent springboard from which to sow corruption in West Asia. However, with rise of BRICS, and now its expansion, the utility of that function is unclear, but hey, why not keep trying? Everybody screws up at one time or another, and the West still has a little life in it.
There are probably many alternative explanations that have merit, but I am at a loss to articulate them here.
One thing is certain: the Zionists will continue their reign of terror until the goyim finally eradicate the racist, genocidal pestilence of Talmudic Judaism. When exactly that will be is known only to God.That it will happen is a certainty.

“hamas lays down it’s arms and gives back the hostages the war is over and people can stop dying.”
There’s zero evidence or history that “people can stop dying”. So, no reason to lay arms down, give POWS back or ceasefire. There never was a “peaceful coexistence” under occupation and there never will be. So, battle on.

Here is a one state solution.

The issue is not whether Israel must go, but first and foremost, apartheid MUST GO.
The Jewish Basic Law of 2018 needs to go. Right now there are four groups of non Jews in Israel and each one is a different level in terms of rights (and they are all below Jews).
Israelis who are non Jewish
East Jersulem Palestinians
West Bank (areas A,B,C within this). Although now Israel seems to be attacking all three
Gaza
All these groups have different ID cards, different roads, Gaza and West Bank people cannot move easily from one to the other and so on.

It would be nice to think the US has plans considering that it loses all its wars. More likely I think it has deeply entrenched projectiins about Communism, Islam, Africans and Goldfish all circling their bowls like sharks.
Their wars are intended to create the reality of their projected worst fears, that OMG, the Palestinians do hate us, and therefore the process of objectivising their problems by attacking their harmless enemies gives them catharsis.
You know I was getting so scared of the goldfish I smashed his tank on the floor, then I heated him up in a saucepan and shoved him down the macerator. If it wasn’t him plotting to kill me I can always buy another one.

The count does not differentiate between combatants and civilians. The ministry has said two-thirds of those killed have been women or children. The overall number of wounded rose to 58,166, the ministry said.”

Using some ad-hoc WWI , Vietnam , Afghanistan , Iraq ratios, I end up with the following IDF KIA numbers (assuming 12.500 handicaped)
Lower limit: 2.900
Upper limit: 8.800
As for Palestinian deaths (reaching 23.000 apparently) if the Israeli say they killed 8.000 Hamas militants (and 40% of Palestinians is 40% sub18Yo, and half of the adults are women) then every single adult male was an Hamas militant , and apparently they had their whole family around when the IDF killed them…

Re humanitarian air lift
Jordan sends first plane with relief aid for Gaza; October 12, 2023

A plane carrying medical aid for Gaza has departed from Jordan, according to a statement from the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization, a state-run relief agency.
The aid includes medicine and medical supplies for hospitals and health agencies operating in the Palestinian territory, said Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the secretary-general of the authority.
The aid will first arrive in Egypt and then be delivered to medical authorities in Gaza, through the Rafah border crossing, according to the statement.

Jordan says air force has dropped aid into Gaza; Nov 06, 2023
https://www.thenationalnews.com/mena/palestine-israel/2023/11/06/gaza-jordan-king/

Jordan’s air force has dropped medical supplies by parachute into north Gaza for a hospital run by the kingdom’s military, Jordanian officials said on Monday.
The announcement, made by King Abdullah on X, comes after he repeatedly called for the international community to put pressure on Israel to allow uninterrupted aid into Gaza. Other Arab countries have also made delivering aid to the enclave a priority.
“Our fearless air force personnel airdropped at midnight urgent medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza,” King Abdullah said.
“We will always be there for our Palestinian brethren.”

Jordan airdrops aid to besieged Christians in Gaza’s oldest church on Christmas Eve; Dec 25, 2023
https://www.thenationalnews.com/mena/palestine-israel/2023/12/25/jordan-airdrops-aid-to-besieged-christians-in-gazas-oldest-church-on-christmas-eve/

Jordan air-dropped supplies to Christians sheltering in a church in northern Gaza on Christmas Eve as as King Abdullah II lamented the absence of joy and peace in the region this Christmas.
A Royal Jordanian Air Force plane parachuted food and humanitarian aid to people stranded in the St Porphyrius Church in Gaza city on Sunday evening, a military official said.
About 800 Gazan Christians are believed to have sought refuge in the centuries-old Greek Orthodox church as Israel conducts a military offensive that has devastated the Palestinian territory.

One state is unacceptable to both parties. Israel knows population demographics will make it a minority. Israel’s one state is subjugation and still 2 tier apartheid. The two state has always been weighted into unfavourable for both by outside third power nations. Neither pals or Israel want 2 state. Solution seems eradication of one party. The weakest side is pals and that seems OK by the epsteined leaders of world as well. Only defeat in battle will change that pendulum. We are here , and it won’t be pretty in fact even more ugly that the hideous images 24/7 beamed around the globe currently. The Resistance I’m sure has gamed all this and has its plan. Even back as its days as the Manchester Guardian, the Guardian has always supported Zionism. This policy was dictated by the paper’s editor and eventual owner, C.P. Scott. Scott and the Guardian opposed British entry into the Great War. I suspect he could not have supported Israel’s current war.

Posted by: Lysias | Jan 10 2024 1:55 utc | 126

This issue is way larger than just the real estate in question. One state or otherwise doesn’t matter until Zionism is confronted and dealt with as an extremist ideology just like the daesh they created and the evangelical extremists that support them. Not every zionist is a jew and not every jew is a zionist.

One state is unacceptable to both parties.

A few factors:
– Both Israeli and Palestinian populations, together or apart, make for only small nation states.
– Israel punches way above its weight because as a multi-millennial trading diaspora it has deep connections with developed nations world wide which Palestinians, being mainly local people without much civilizational history as such, lack.
– For One State to work all members have to feel part of the same ‘We’. The Chosen always feel themselves a breed apart therefore they must be separated somehow, either not being in the One State or having their own State (i.e. Two State solution).
– Because these States or State are so small and have been recently created as such, there must be some higher Authority in the mix with enforcement powers. This can come from a reformed UN (unlikely) or from a newly created Regional Authority. Without such Authority any one or two States going forward will fail.
– Most discussions of One or Two States fail to consider the context in which the States have and will exist. The lack of such proper consideration since the break-up of the Ottoman Empire is the prime cause of the problems in Palestine compounded by giving the Zionist free rein – a huge mistake (by accident or design). Nothing will work until this deeply flawed context is changed and as yet there has been hardly any public discussion of this for decades.
In Confucian terms: lacking proper Heaven, Earth and Man are in turmoil.

The Gospel of Thomas was originally written in Greek, but only fragments of the Greek text survive. What survives is a translation into Coptic. I have studied enough Coptic to know that the surviving translations of Greek texts into Coptic are such mechanical word-to-word translations that reverse translation back into Greek is not hard.

There is a Palestinian diaspora, of course, but it does not have the political, financial, and media power of the Jewish diaspora. It seems obvious that this latter fact is what has kept Israel and the Zionists afloat all these years and would continue to do so in the case of a newly constituted Zionist state.
Whatever it is that is obvious to you, it is not obvious to me.

That’s a distraction. The core question is when will Setrlers etc pay for or return fhe property they stole ? When will the Settlers, etc pay for the property they damaged or destroyed ?
Focus on restitution
Restitution has been mentioned a number of times in various UN documents starting with UNR 194 in 1948.

Doctor Eleven 97
100% yes, but whose war? Is this Jewish War by deception ? Or a Tory Fascist concept of politics, Move fast and break everything ? Or simply the Colonial mindset of the Founders of ?
the US ?
I really don’t think the world is ready to be told its been brainwashed like Ukrainians into fighting another war to the last human ? That would indicate the responsibility of the death cult of political Islam, preached by Israeli citizen ” Baghdadi ” Shimon Elliot, now living it up in a coastal villa in Turkiye.
One of Trump’s worst disguised brain farts says not. These politicians must use AI to track all their lies. It would be impossible to remember all this tripe. In which case , maybe the AI machine is running the world with thec sole intention of destroying human life on earth.

Thank you Exile for telling us! ( Exile Jan 10 2024 5:53 utc | 143 ).
I tried to find a little bit more.
Here is a link to the ICJ press release on the public hearings on SA vs. ISR on this Thursday and Friday.
The relevant part on live broadcast:

“The hearings will be streamed live and on demand (VOD) in the two official languages of the Court, English and French, on the Court’s website and on UN Web TV.”

The link Exile provided does not yet (for me at least) show entries for these broadcasts on the respective dates but they’ll hopefully appear as we get closer to them (like perhaps Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning?).
The ICJ website home page in case that proves to be useful and they also have a mostly empty YouTube channel which is linked to with a YouTube icon at the the bottom of their home page.
I hope someone can record the stream(s). I am not familiar enough with either the UN or ICJ video or streaming choices to know if that’s easily achievable and it doesn’t seem all that likely they’ll put it up on or use some internet video provider (but maybe they will).
Might be easy for some …but not for me on my potato computer 🙂 (and maybe having the videos won’t matter at all, who knows).

Bikl Ackman’s strategy of sanitizing Harvard has yielded the desired sanitized results. In The Globe and Mail we read the following sanitized intellectual’s opinion:
“The genocide case against Israel is an abuse of the postwar legal order…Rosalie Silberman Abella is the Samuel and Judith Pisar Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. She served as a justice of the Supreme Court of Canada from 2004 until her mandatory retirement in 2021.”
The piece begins with the trademark whataboutism: South Africa had earlier not detained a Sudanese baddie so the fact that it is now interested in Gaza shows Ms Abella something that escapes all the rest. Oh I get it now: South Africa must be antisemitic! Or against “the postwar legal order” some other pernicious way. However, the view that Israel cannot commit genocide is as weird as the view that there are no Nazis in Ukraine because Zelensky is Jewish.

Has Ackman been bribing/extorting the ICJ judges the way he has now been sanitizing the US elite academic institutions to create the kind of echo chamber that makes him feel good about himself?

IDF soldiers are being literally hunted down like rats in Gaza:
Hamas Fighters Chase Israeli Troops In Ravaged Gaza City; IDF Announces Loss Of Personnel
I remember Alexander Mercouris saying three months ago he didn’t expect Hamas to be highly trained fighters in the way IDF soldiers or special forces were.
An understandable assessment at the time.
To me it’s become gradually clear that the Hamas fighters are far beyond the equal of the IDF, perhaps even the American special forces and mercenaries embedded with the IDF.
These men are on another level to have kept the IDF running in circles for more than three months with nowhere near the kind of equipment and resources the IDF have at their disposal.
If Hamas had a tenth of the IDF resources Izzrael would have been a long forgotten memory by now.

All of this begs the question how much is conspiracy and how much isn’t? First, of course, “conspiracy” must be defined (I’ll leave that technical aspect to more sophisticated others), but concrete examples do come readily to mind: e.g. How destabilized was Israeli society by Netanyahu’s political alliance’s legal reforms? Was Oct 7 a premeditated attempt to cut the aforesaid Gordian knot (i.e. legal reform impasse) by generating a unifying national emergency that channels proto-civil war tensions towards an external, sempiternal enemy, the Palestinians? How much of an Israeli/corrupt-Arab-dynastic creature is Hamas as opposed to a genuine force of liberation? How corrupt is the Western MSM, or even Aljazeera for that matter, i.e. what other realities are equally or more valid (not least of which because deeper) than those presented by the aforesaid Western MSM? How many of these so-called Western journalists are, in fact, agents of state security/intelligence services, i.e. consciously so and sometimes multigenerationally so?
With effectively endless “fifth generation” US/NATO warfare budgets how can one probabilistically suppose that every ‘epistemic millimeter,’ so to say, of this phenomenon (i.e. Oct 7 and subsequent Gaza ‘war’) hasn’t in some form or fashion been ‘touched,’ if not been fully engulfed, by conspiracy?

I agree. But it makes one wonder, why don’t they have the needed armament if the “resistance” is about defeating Israel? Where are the tanks? Where are the drones? Where are the atgs? Why haven’t they been sufficiently armed? Why are they having to make their own weapons in a tunnel?
Their access by the “axis of resistance” to arms & weapons appears limited in scope. Which can only mean someone has a foot on the head of Hamas in this conflict. Yemen, Iran, Syria, Iraq & even Hizbollah certainly have weapons to spare and certainty their are tunnels to transfer in, so the question remains: Does the “axis of resistance” actually have a desire to see the defeat of Israel ? I’ve seen militias & death squads in South America better armed than Hamas.
Perhaps the “wider war” is the reason, perhaps the goal is the formation & recognition of a Palestinian State is the goal, and not so much the defeat of Israel.
Because frankly, there seems to be a lot of bluster from “axis of resistance” without arms backing up the smack talk. It’s also putting Lebanon at more risk than necessary also.

Stalingrad. Germans had the advantage of airpower so the Soviets shortened the range between them and the Germans to 20 to 30 meters. That also was fighting in the ruins of the destroyed city.

Thanks for your kind response and for the quote regarding “the man with the pitcher”. Perhaps the statement was sufficiently arcane and esoteric to bypass Constantine’s board of censors and promptly redacted…to never be seen or never heard.
Of all the scriptures which were rejected by the Builder, the one which struck me as being most spiritually appealing and only once again appearing on the road to enlightenment, is the Gospel of Thomas. Have you had opportunity to enjoy that long-buried treasure discovered in Nag Hammadi, Egypt only as recently as 1945? My suspicion is that had those “forbidden” spiritually oriented texts been dug up a few decades earlier, they would have promptly been destroyed for those who hold up the old order ordained within the Kali Yuga Epoch.

So far as I’m concerned, if they were willing to build a wall around the place like they did to the Pals on the West Bank; they could have the entire state of Nevada…again if they would be willing to pay for it at a rate of something like 50 Trillion. The place could even retain its statehood. Interstates and Federal highways would need to be fenced in as well so that decent people could transit through the place. Cost for the fencing would be on them.
Vegas has been one of their rackets for decades. They already own much of it. Needless to say, there would be huge internecine fights over Lake Tahoe…or at least the Nevada side. So there would also be a need for fencing through the body of water to keep them from seeping into Kali-Fornia.
As states go, Neva Daah is the most useless of the bunch…essentially no water of their own…vilrtually no food grown there…not even any local sources of fuel in any quantity. The U.$ could charge them to import all those needs. Somehow, the ROW needs to shake out all those $hekels.
Even if all this scenario never occurs, should a Mad-Max SHTF situation develop, there would be a mass Exodus emanating from that state of suspension.

@ Posted by: liveload | Jan 10 2024 1:58 utc | 127
Yes liveload that is also what REAL Judeoworshippers believe too! More on that below.
Most Zionists are Anglican , Catholic and especially Evangelical Christians or non-religious or worst of all Mammonites!
No actual Torah Judaism practitioner is Zionist. And in fact within their own teachings – the are NOT allowed to be. Any desire for a mythical ‘Israel’ is a blasphemy.
The Illegal Apartheid Entity in the Levant exists because of the Old Shapeshifting Khazarian Kings and their converted subjects/slaves that have no connection to the Ancient Semitic Lands in the Levant – many of whom never believed in Judaism ! They have only ever practiced their old businesses: Slavery, Trade, Highway robbery and murder.
The Only thing they have given the world is their Banking Houses and their invention of the Magic Money Tree. All wrapped up in fairytales. Codified in their Talmudic, Magik spells , numerology and all such non religious nonsense which aims only to justify their self delusion of being the Masters of the Universe and all the Worlds Peoples as their Slaves and Vassals to do with as they like.
Mostly done through the chutzpah of assuming leadership and striking down anyone that objects- with ultra violence – through the use of proxies, mercenaries and bought thugs – their praetorians.
The whole Western Monetarism system under their control is what every Nation State was created by them for. They control that as well as the Vatican and Pope. They used the Vatican to destroy the only real alternative to their means of control – Banking – back when Friday the 13th got its reputation as a ‘evil day’. They got rid of ‘Witchcraft’ when they took control of all knowledge being held and transmitted via an Oral Culture…
Anyways. Here are some thoughts of Ancient Judaism followers Rabbis on Zionism – if anyone wants to accuse them of being AS.
‘Torah Judaism
@TorahJudaism

Response to the claims of the Zionist terrorist lobby called ADL.
Please share so everyone can learn the facts.
Are all Jews Zionists?
“Zionism is completely contradictory to Judaism!”
Jews are against Zionism because the Torah forbids Jews to be Zionists. Jews can never adopt an ideology that is forbidden in the Torah. Zionism adopted by Israel is definitely against the Jewish faith. There is no Zionism in Judaism.
Authentic Jewish Rabbis were always opposed to Zionism, which is opposite of Torah and Judaism.
Zionism and Zionists disguised themselves as Jews, usurped Jewish history and everything that Jews considered sacred, distorted Judaism and called it Zionism. Zionism is the diametric opposite of Judaism. Zionism is never Judaism.
Zionism is not Judaism.
Rabbi Chaim Brisker, one of the greatest rabbis a century ago, once said: “There have been many heretical groups in Jewish history, but Zionism is the worst.
Jews are a religion belonging to many nationalities
Zionism is the diametric opposite of Judaism
The plague of Zionism has begun to spread even in our areas. This is no time for us to be silent, for they are not silent, but rather as noisy as the ocean, casting their net for the Jewish youth.
The Zionist movement is not a movement of great Torah leaders and upright men, but rather a movement of faithless men; therefore, believing Jews, learn from the rabbis‟ example. Do not join them and do not take part in their gatherings. (Tel Talpios, Av 5664)
Holy Grand Rabbi Yitzchak Lebavitch says: “Zionists must be buried in the ground like snakes.”
When Theodor Herzl and like-minded Zionists put forward the idea of establishing a state, religious Jewish rabbis opposed them. Because the Jews were exiled as a result of divine punishment, and G-d forbade the Jews from establishing a state. However, the Zionists did not listen to this divine prohibition and defied G-d and established a Zionist state.
Zionism is the head of Pollution.
Zionism is definitely not Judaism.
The Torah prohibits Jews from establishing a state or seizing land.
The Zionist movement is not a movement of great Torah leaders and upright men, but rather a movement of faithless men; therefore, believing Jews, learn from the rabbis‟ example. Do not join them and do not take part in their gatherings. (Tel Talpios, Av 5664) Rabbi Yechiel Michel Epstein, rabbi of Novhardok, Russia (1829-1908)
The ideology called Zionism was invented in Europe by a pervert named Theodor Herzl, who did not even believe in Judaism.
The plague of Zionism has begun to spread even in our areas. This is no time for us to be silent, for they are not silent, but rather as noisy as the ocean, casting their net for the Jewish youth. Therefore we must gird ourselves with strength and stand up to them forcefully so that they cannot make their catch by trickery. In my opinion, it would be correct to forbid joining them, G-d forbid, or teaching Hebrew in the schools. In this way we will foil their plans. (Olas Hachodesh, Shvat 5741) Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach,Rebbe of Belza, Poland (1854-1926)
The greatest rabbis should gather immediately and excommunicate the Zionists. They should exclude them from the Jewish people by forbidding their bread, their wine and intermarriage with them. (Mara D‟ara Yisroel v. 2 p. 43)
Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch, rabbi of Frankfort, Germany (1808–1888)

I agree with your media points, and I haven’t tuned CBC for years – since 2019 and the “International Censorship Charter” was signed.
Israel is all determined to fight a multi-front war and that factor is likely another reason for the let up against Hamas in Gaza. And that leaves a still functional Hamas in Gaza while Israel illogically shifts attention to Lebanon. This makes little sense and especially when the US, while publicly maintaining support is demonstratively less able to supply arms to Israel. I wonder if Biden would block U.N. involvement to settle this. That is the other way to support Israel given the war is not winnable for Israel.

I agree. But it makes one wonder, why don’t they have the needed armament if the “resistance” is about defeating Israel? Where are the tanks? Where are the drones? Where are the atgs? Why haven’t they been sufficiently armed? Why are they having to make their own weapons in a tunnel?

My belief, having watched this shitshow play out for the last 30+ years is that the zionists did a really good job of placing a concentration camp cordon around the Palestinians.

Got to give it to them. The Nazis would be proud.

They got the Jordanians, the Egyptians and the Americans to help build the biggest political, technological and physical wall around a people ever known in the history of mankind since the great barrier of Dhul Qarnain.
The Palestinians on the other hand, for historical reasons, probably not of their own making, had the rotten luck of being manoeuvred into a position of complete lockdown by the occupier over a period of 75+ years with the help of dying empires like the British and French.

Trapped like a wild animal that realises too late that it’s in a cage.

The result:
By the time they realised it, it was too late and all the supply lines for meaningful weapons to enter the strip had been cut, all their potential nearby allies (Egypt, Jordan) had been corrupted and replaced by Western stooges (Abdullah and Sisi), all their true allies far away (Iran, Hezbollah, Yemen) and the entire world order terrified by the current Superpower which threatens annihilation at anyone even whispering about the Palestinian cause (Saddam Hussein?) .

The entire world is literally they “concentration camp fence” around Gaza.

Given the circumstances, what they managed to perform on 7 October is a miracle. A stunning testament to human resilience, courage and the will to live.
And this last point brings me to the heart of what makes the Palestinian struggle, in particular the struggle of the Gazans, meaningful to me personally:
It is the answer to the question of:
“Exactly how much can the human spirit and being take and still rise again from the ashes to fight, and fight again? What does it take to break a people, and once broken can they rise again”

The answer to this question is being formulated in Gaza.

One side of this fight wishes to demonstrate to Humanity:
Behold, I can crush the human spirit!
I can destroy the human soul!
I can spit in the face of all you deem “Good”!
I can defile all you hold dear!
I can crush the body beneath my boot!
Leave it’s sacredness soiled in the dirt!
Behold, I can erase the human soul!
I can do it to Them, and hey, buddy, I can do it to YOU!
I can spit on Justice and no Judge will bring me before a Court!
I am above all laws of God and Man.

The other side of this fight, the one caged within the confines of the strip, wants to prove:

You cannot break the human spirit.
When it chooses not to be broken.
You can try but not for free,
We will make you pay the cost,
You can murder our children,
But you will pay a price unto the seventh generation
You can murder our womenfolk, but like Cain you will walk the earth marked forever.
And if you slip up just a little bit,
Miss your footing by only an inch,
Let me rise at just the wrong moment
It will be you beneath the boot and no longer me …

For me, should Palestine be destroyed, it is the very soul of mankind that will be destroyed.:
And there, abandoned by all of us, a tattered, starved and beaten Philistine David stands,
before a murderous Jewish Goliath bloated and fattened upon the filthy lucre of Empire,
the Gazans fight not merely for themselves, not merely for Palestine,
but for the very essence of all of mankind …

the Guardian quitely changed over from being a Trust some time ago. gives them more freedom to propoagandize.

Thanks for the clarification pretzel-I got it mixed up with the Economist. And you are right it gives them more latitude to disinform the public.
This old brain is the equivalent of having 350,000 miles driven on it, like a rusty old car.

The cultural devolution throughout the Western world is virtually beyond comprehension, as instead of the cream rising to the top, nowadays its merely the scum.
Posted by: aristodemos | Jan 9 2024 17:27 utc | 39

Superlative!
You’ve been on a roll of late…Norse blood set ablaze by icy winter wonderland cold?
But if I may respectfully disagree: it is comprehendible when you consider that, simply put, in good societies those who are good (cream) rise and in bad societies those who are bad (scum) rise. It is precisely so following (non-materialist) Natural Law as old as Human Nature itself.
Which is also what is lacking in a Conspiracy Only explanation blaming all the world’s ills on a cigar-filled Council in a hidden Chamber. We all create a cultural container, or gestalt, in which such cabals, like a sorceror’s summoned succubus, incarnate over time, and when those cultures are degraded your scum indeed rises to the top as is so clearly now the case.
The pendulum is swinging, that’s the good news. What sort of order will emerge after the destruction phase remains to be seen. Some seem to be engineering bifurcation so that the West implodes from within no longer able to meddle abroad whilst the Rest rises unimpeded. But will there be harmonious Order without Authority?
This is the socialist dream, perhaps, some sort of materialist paradise where all are equally valued and good, all are cream equally rising, none are scum, neither is there any sacredness nor any agency for the same, The Gods or The One God or the Kami of sacred presence on every leaf tip, grass blade and gentle breeze breath quivering them.
Well. First the destruction phase. Then our children and grandchildren will see. We are now cleaning up messes made over centuries. These things take time…

The Rothschild Banks never had anything in particular to do with the Manchester Guardian and Evening News.
CP Scott the long time editor who might as well have owned the paper was a fervent supporter of Zionism. He and Lloyd George, the Liberal politician and leading (Manchester) lawyer, were both connected with Chaim Weizman the Manchester University lecturer in Chemistry who was the leading British Zionist and inspired the Balfour Declaration.
In other words the connections here are between Manchester Liberals and Zionists, the fact that Rothschild was the addressee of Balfour’s Declaration was really a commentary on his eminence within the traditional Jewish community in Britain.
More about the Rothschilds in Ralph Glasser’s Gorbals Boy at Oxford.
And then there was the very strong Zionist faction within the Labour Party, accused of leaking Cabinet Discussions to the proto Israeli Irgun which was engaged in terrorist operations against both Palestinians and British troops.

Thanks. Lately I’ve seen numerous references to P.K. Dick. Have read only a couple of his books. Gotta check that one out. He’s quite the time-traveller.

My favourite novel of all time is: “The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich”

I was wrong [it happens to canuk alot, editor].
The Rothschilds own 22% of the Economist not the Guardian.

Ray McGovern (former CIA analyst):
– The attack on the iranian general in Syria and the Hamas leader in Beirut, Lebanon were 2 attempts to provoke Iran and/or Hezbaollah into retaliating against Israel. In turn that would give Israel a good excuse to attack Hezbollah (and Syria ?????).

Breaking: Heart-wrenching.. Hundreds of hungry people in northern Gaza heard about a food truck arriving, so they went out to receive it, but the Israeli army opened fire on them

This never made sense to me because ‘Israel’ never needed any excuses to attack anyone (except perhaps Egypt and Jordan, for which they could easily manufacture excuses).
It is more likely these men were killed because they were key parts of the Resistance posing an existential danger to the zionist occupation.
