Washington Green Lights Resumption Of Israel's Killing Spree

Yesterday U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken visited Israel. He gave a green light to the radical Netanyahoo regime's intent to genocide more people in Gaza.

Israel agrees to protect civilians when Gaza war resumes, Blinken says - Washington Post

TEL AVIV — The Israeli government agreed to form a “clear plan” for averting civilian deaths before resuming its assault of southern Gaza, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday, a sign of the intensifying U.S. pressure that Israel faces to recalibrate its approach amid the war’s grave humanitarian toll.

Blinken said to tell Israel to change strategy for southern Gaza, suggest it won’t have months to win war - Times of Israel

According to leaked remarks from today’s war cabinet meeting, attended by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Blinken told Israel it cannot operate in southern Gaza in the way it has done in the north — a presumed reference to the heavy air bombardment and crushing ground operation — and indicated that Israel has weeks, not months, to complete its declared mission of destroying Hamas.

Scoop: Blinken warns Israeli officials global pressure will grow longer war goes on - Axios

Israel Defense Forces chief of staff Gen. Herzi Halevi told Secretary of State Tony Blinken on Thursday that the Israeli military operation in Gaza, including in the southern part of the enclave, is expected to take "more than a few additional weeks," three people with direct knowledge of the meeting said.
...
Blinken didn't ask Israel to stop the operation but expressed concern and said the longer the high-intensity military campaign goes on, the more international pressure will build on both the U.S. and Israel to stop it, one source said.
...
What they're saying: Netanyahu said in a statement after the meeting with Blinken that Israel will continue the war until it achieves three goals: freeing all of our hostages, completely eliminating Hamas and ensuring that no threat like this will ever come from Gaza again.

The last aim is of course only achievable if Israel removes all Palestinians, by murder or forced ethnic cleansing, from Gaza.

This morning, shortly after Blinken left, the Netanyahoo regime resumed its bombing of random people in Gaza.

As the U.S. is unwilling to use its power to prevent Israel from committing further war crimes it is up to the resistance, Hamas, Hizbullah, Badr and Houthis, to bring the U.S. and Israel, and anyone who supports, them to their senses.

Israel agrees to protect civilians when Gaza war resumes, Blinken says - Washington Post.

So now they are labeling it Gaza War? I guess this is Blinken trying to legitamize the destruction of an entire race of people. This is not a war. It is an annihilation. It is ethic cleansing. It is genocide.

The US zionists and their useful idiots have gone too far here though. The USA stands to lose so much, not least its credibility and reputation. Actually that ship has now sailed.

Wait.

That’s strange.

Mercouris swears every second day that Israel has caused irreparable damage and will soon drown in a cesspool of horrible, horrible diplomatic isolation.

What gives?

It’s as if the Israeli did not give a shite for what pundits, wannabe geopolitical experts, rabid antisemites, assorted failed Marxist and perennial bitter losers, and even the US government think of them! Imagine that!

Ah well, don’t worry.

Zionism and NAZIsm are in essence the same.
Both require a total hegemony to prevail.
The paranoid mindset at the core of each,
fearful of every tiny corner beyond control,
demands domination of every inch out of reach.

As the prophecy informs:

It' not Jerusalem that is the target,
Not the middle east and not China,
It's Russia that is the End,
And 'Isreal' that is the means.

Posted by: william paul | Dec 1 2023 9:15 utc | 13

I take real action on a monthly basis in the best way I can:

I make sure no Isreali or Zionist affiliated tech supplier makes it through the corporate tender process.
I don't buy any of the funky backdoored and legally-encumbered blackbox shit they push so aggressively.

I find Huawei gives me anything from high capacity DWDM firewalls to MaaS blade systems at a fraction of a cost and 100% of the transparency the isreali companies can.

Instead, I ensure Mainland Chinese suppliers and service providers sail through the tender process smoothly.

I welcome Russian freelance contractors with open arms where I can get them. I never hire Isreali or Indian contractors.

I avoid InfoSys, Tata Comms and other crappy hindutva shitware slave farms when it comes to software development.

I find the software development teams in Shanghai produce better quality software, cheaper and with 0% of the bullshit I get dealing with biryani mix I get dribbling out of Bangalore.

Quatar....is it "neutral" in its emotional thinking for the sake of negotiating....can it be so now the bombing of citizens and hospitals has resumed with N not being agreement capable...Isr.determined to hang on to its prisoners and having continued its actions in West Bank?

If they all stay home, they're big enough to sink his reelection bid, sure.

I don't see him switching course, though. He'll die on this hill. Then Trump (or possibly another Republican) will get into office and continue business as usual.

Committing genocide is ultimately more important to Biden than winning reelection.

Posted by: SpatialFix | Dec 1 2023 10:06 utc | 19

This was expected.

The attack on the Palestinian civilian population will continue until the Zionists state is finally stopped. Most likely a real war will start and may, and could, end by the state of Israel being dismantled.

These historic events, a turning point, are confronting everyone with a choice - what are your long-term interests? Do you want to continue to try to live, develop and provide a decent life and prosperity to your people constrained by a dysfunctional world system with impotent organisations; a system run by capitalist criminals in the form of western states, or does your interest lie in doing what it takes to remove the constraints, create a functional world order based on honesty, trust and mutual respect including for each others interests, and of course, freedom, equality and cooperation in the interests of all.

There will not be peace in Palestine, the Middle East or this world if the Zionist project in the form of Israel is not stopped. This Israel does not serve the interests of the Jews, only the interests of the Zionists and their earstwhile partners in crime, in the first place, the US.

This is the defining moment, the biggest test for everyone.

This new rule of RBO reads:

Not only Gaza but all Palestinians are being targeted by IOF. In a few weeks all in Gaza could be killed at the pace already set since the carnage began. However, there are so many displaced Palestinians already banished but surviving in other countries that killing will NOT extinguish Palestine, or even Hamas. Israel is NOT a legitimate country and the USA enables/ helps/ encourages the genocide .

A new thread as to was writing this on the old! Have it again, a little enhanced . Having forced myself to watch the horror of instant death. Also of released hostages who don’t seem at all tortured or raped or beheaded … anyone supporting the Illegal Apartheid regime is guilty as those pulling the triggers and dropping the explosives upon the Palestinians.

The killings by the Illegal Apartheid Entity’s Fascist Citizen Soldiers of stone throwing children- shot by snipers - is on the record. It is a criminal act and first degree murder.

The pregnant Arab Israeli stabbed to death as she walked her other children to school by some crazed Apartheid Invader is also criminal whether it is under diminished responsibility is another matter.

The bus stop shooters are actual citizens of that state although Arab not eurozionists. They ought to be tried and punished too.

Either way there must be international trials for the IDF and The Illegal Apartheid State , that would include Life sentences for the perpetrators and their commanders and political leaders. That would include the failure of the police and judiciary.

Also any external parties - such as the massive US and U.K. Zionist bodies that have now come out as openly Fascist Zionist mass murderers who have used the ethnojaudeo religions as a human shield for the last 80 years.

I do believe there is now a case of a R2P task force, a coalition of the willing to step into the Palestine and the Levant to cause regime change of the fascist Zionist apartheid illegal entity and bring its short lived malignant tumour existence to an end. Yup a cancer I call it that needs to be cutout or it will destroy the Levant and ultimately itself.

Such a task force can be led by the Chinese or Turkish. They not being directly involved in setting up of the Illegal and fascist Zionist Apartheid Entity, though Turkey is compromised by its actions in Syria in collusion with the Illegal Apartheid Entity.

Any mentally confused inhabits and supporters who have bought the fantasy story of entitlement and righteousness of that illegal colonialism better WAKE UP and do it fast. They ought to start packing their bags and head off to some other shore where they can live a life in peace where they have roots of some sort. Do it now with time to pack properly or do it again in haste and leave taking what they can carry in a suitcase like the Ugandan Asians had to back in the 70’s! Or the Vietnam boat people after being left behind by the escaping Yankees from Indochina.

The assassinated children and pregnant women will have their justice and revenge, Gladiator style if necessary.

This issue is framed in two different ways: the dominance of the ILLEGAL POLITICAL RELIGIOUS perspective in MSM and (much of) indy media lays a trap. Steer clear.

The Legal Perspective: Craig Mokhiber (UN Human Rights head guy who resigned), Scott Ritter, Max Blumenthal, McGovern, Giraldi etc.

-1948: UN Declaration of Human Rights, IHL (international humanitarian law), Geneva Convention (GC) etc. The UN applied those principles consistently to S. Africa. Apartheid eventually ended. But not to Israel which had 2-3 votes at the UNSC (US, UK, France).

-International Law: ICJ 2004 Israel is a belligerent occupying power with NO right to invoke self defense. It has responsibilities for civilians under the 4th article GC. Palestinians have a right to armed resistance (Additional Protocol GC) against a racist regime. Both parties must abide by IHL: atrocities against civilians exponentially higher by Israel. No UNSC resolutions against Israel enforced.

-UN, ICC WHO etc. useless. They’re controlled by US / UK in turn controlled by the very well funded AIPAC etc. which somehow are not required to register as foreign agents. That part of the UN which is the technical part has registered all of Israel’s war crimes, apartheid, etc. but enforcement lies with the political Do Nothing part of the UN.

-Israeli has conducted a textbook genocide campaign under the Genocide Convention in terms of a) actions b) stated intent of genocide c) capacity to carry out genocide. US / UK / EU complicit.
(imho: the worst part: Israel’s war on children in West Bank by kidnapping and torturing them with a view to not allowing resistance in the future). Excellent overview of the entire legal perspective by Craig Mokhiber.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NI46qq4o21g

Oslo 1993 and e subsequent 2002 “quartet” (US, UN, EU and Russia with its Israeli lobby) were a clever smokescreen to move away from international law in order to protect Israel. Arafat probably believed it was genuine, perhaps there was some sincere intent from Israel but international law should have prevailed over a political process which aligned Empire with Israel against Palestine.

The ILLEGAL Political / Religious Champions: Those who blabber a LOT taking time, space and energy away from the LEGAL position. They may talk about 2 state / impossibility of 2 state. The corrupt PA must be put in charge of Gaza etc. Or not. They NEVER talk about resistance to apartheid settler colonialism using those exact words.

NYT, WaPo and MSM say Hamas must go, poor civilians.
Sachs, Mearsheimer and Crook rephrase MSM to indy media: “Israel has gone mad, the PA is unpopular, it is hard to eliminate Hamas, Arab world unifying, regional war possible”. DUH!!!!!

Continuing 21sth century Global War on Terror narrative lots of verbiage on Islamist / MB /Sunni / Shia Wahabi / moderate rebels / ISIS / AQ / Hamas / Hezb etc. TLDR: If not’s Christian or Jewish it must be fundamentalist / bad / repressive. They fight or ally with each other depending on the weather and we can theorize forever about who controls who.

The trap: US/EU/UK are complicit so everyone says come on repressive authoritarian Arab / Muslims: DO SOMETHING: Join the Axis of Evil (Hezb, Houthi, Iran, other militias). What would happen if the regional neighbours somehow came up with either a unified military /economic front?

On Oct 4, 2023 Crooke wrote in Al Mayadeen: “Whilst Christianity may have become supine, Islam has not (entirely) become so.”

According to Crook, bombing the crap out of West Asia and Afghanistan since 1991 and greenlight Israel’s atrocities up until Oct 4 2023 is “supine Christianity”. ANY REAL ACTION by any Muslim government is going to be portrayed as GWOT on steroids.

The only way out of this GWOT extension trap that the powers keep pushing us towards is a) for the people of the “free world” to make their opinions known LOUDLY to their own scumbad repressive politicians, corporations and media and b) a RoW joint effort that includes non Muslim players: Brazil, Russia, China, S.Africa I’m looking at you.

Blinken seems to think that world wide public opinion will force Israel to halt in "a few weeks". What's wrong with this picture? Was he just sugar-coating the fact that the White House has to consider polls on the President's ratings, and that may entail reducing aid to Israel?
Stuck between a rock and a hard place there - Jewish funding = Dems lifeblood. Voting numbers = Anti-Jewish backlash (never mind Anti-Zionist - Judaism in total becomes the target). Blinken might just as well have said "Take too long = cost too much". Maybe that's what Tel Aviv understood from his remarks anyway...?

For those disgusted with them to throw the first punch, so it will justify a nuclear war and killing off 95% to 99% of current world population. After all, that huge number consists only of Goyim.

Saw an almost 15 year-old video by some British guy who claimed that the only way for this whole Zio-Plan to work is get the PRC to launch nukes in a first-strike. Well, probably won’t happen. Watch what Comrade Xi does, what Putin does. They even convinced Raisi to forgo pulling the trigger until the Tribe strikes first. Same with that opportunist Erdogan.

The Tribe will be squeezed to death, just as 404 is being squeezed to death. A little step here, a little step there, and soon the whole thing collapses and dies.

The only question is where will the Zio-criminals find refuge.? I know most of them think they can just come to the USA, but I doubt we will welcome them. We now know what they really are, the mask has come off.

Posted by: william paul | Dec 1 2023 12:20 utc | 42

Easy.

I look at old pictures of Tibetan peasants who've had their limbs cut off by the 'buddhist' 'monks' and feudal enforcers and realise that Siddhartha Gautama would not know these 'Buddhists' from the death cults of his own era.

I see that none of this is happening under the rule of the CPC, that Tibet has its own elected representative and that this representative along with those of dozens of other ethnic groups have a voice and influence in the CPC and reflect that Tibet has as much influence over China's destiny as any random state in the USA has over the destiny of that nation.

I consider that Tibet, under Indian rule or influence would have probably been a toilet-less cesspool, like much of India, the bulk of its population remaining dalits since the caste system still prevails to some degree, and Indians would probably be running rampant in the border villages raping Tibetan women like they like to do in Manipur.

These are a few of the things that lead me to conclude that perhaps there are worse fates for Tibet in the infinite network of probabilities than being part of China.

So, this 7/10 war-with-terror, was paused for nine days in November, 9-11.
Using Ukraine as a primitive model for this conflict, which had a similar pause for ceasefire negotiations after the opening salvo, one might expect the pause in Gaza to reflect an entrenching of battle lines and solidifying of forces. The extent of the proxy-nature of fighting, like Yemen and then Ukraine, remains my biggest question mark. Will the fbloodshed be constrained to just one theater?

I continue to point out that nationalism is how the 16 by 16 matrix of nation states are manipulated by those in control of the nation state system. The failure of the leaders of the world's nations to timely stop aggression of the type in Palestine, explains why I continue to point out the problem for humanity is that it is trapped within the territorial confines of the nation state in which its resides.

Unless humanity finds a way independent of depending on the nation states to protect its kind from the rath of those in control of the nation state system, the killing will continue, the surveillance will continue, the clamping down will continue..the transformation of human behaviors to robotic behaviors will continue.. the transfers of the monopoly powers vested in the public parts of the nation states will continue to be transferred to the private parts of the nation states.

Humanity must arm itself if it expects to be able to defend itself from the private powers that control the nation state system. Every individual human in the world needs to be trained to use sufficient weapons and needs to be armed sufficiently to protect themselves from those in charge of the nation state system. The constitution of the United States of America recognized that if humanity is defend itself against nation state tyranny, if must, at least, be armed. Those in charge of the nation state system continue to try to confiscate weapons in the possession of those they govern.

I believe all citizens should be armed and all nations should be disarmed.

Posted by: pretzelattack | Dec 1 2023 13:46 utc | 61

---

Several of the sources, who spoke to +972 and Local Call on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that the Israeli army has files on the vast majority of potential targets in Gaza — including homes — which stipulate the number of civilians who are likely to be killed in an attack on a particular target. This number is calculated and known in advance to the army’s intelligence units, who also know shortly before carrying out an attack roughly how many civilians are certain to be killed.

...

“Nothing happens by accident,” said another source. “When a 3-year-old girl is killed in a home in Gaza, it’s because someone in the army decided it wasn’t a big deal for her to be killed — that it was a price worth paying in order to hit [another] target. We are not Hamas. These are not random rockets. Everything is intentional. We know exactly how much collateral damage there is in every home.”

The Thai spokesman is being really sharp here. The "nobody knows who did the killing" line is a favourite among western media imperial spokesorganisms. It's an angle that can't be challenged because it pretends to impartiality and the promise of a future investigation.

He uses it secure in the knowledge his interviewer would have no way to press him further without blatantly forcing an opinion on him and losing her (thin) facade of impartiality.

DOI as an acronym can mean several things, for example:
Death on Impact, Date of Injury and Definition of Insanity.

The latter is closest to what I have in mind.

Disease of Israel or Disorder of Israel or, preferably, DOI.

I am always reluctant to acknowledge the Zionist project
by using the term Israel. In it's stead I recommend DOI.

There is an important article that everyone should read.
"Israel’s Biblical Psychopathy"
https://www.unz.com/article/israels-biblical-psychopathy/

It explains "collective psychopathy" and is spot on in it's
throwing of light upon an obscure subject.
To understand the psychopath and thus collective psychopathy is to understand DOI.

You can see DOI right here:

The most characteristic trait of the psychopath is a complete absence of empathy and, as a result, of moral inhibition in harming others, combined with a thirst for power. Psychopathy also shares some traits with narcissism: psychopaths have a grand vision of their own importance. In their minds, everything is owed to them because they are exceptional. They are never wrong, and failures are always the fault of others.

Truth is of no value to the psychopath; truth is whatever is convenient for him at any given moment. He is a pathological liar, but he is hardly aware of it. Lying is so natural to him that the question of his “sincerity” is almost irrelevant: the psychopath beats the lie detector.

The psychopath feels only very superficial emotions and has no real feelings for anyone; but he has developed a great ability to deceive. He can be charming to the point of charismatic. He is unable to empathize, but learns to simulate it. His power is his extraordinary ability to feign, trick, trap, and capture. Although he himself is immunized against guilt, he becomes a master in making others feel guilty.
[Use of the smear "Antisemitism" for example. An entire organization, the ADL, is dedicated to hurling smears.]

To understand collective psychopathy is to understand DOI.

Excellent summary regarding the zionist genocide and jewish fascism (both in Palestine and inside the strategic positions inside western nation-states it operates from)
Time to speak up, their terror and tyranny has to end, for the poor people of Palestine and others in the middle-east who would be next for "Eretz Israel". And for the working-class and middle-class folks everywhere, because they need to be expelled from their positions of abuse, theft and tyranny.

American Pravda: Gaza and the Antisemitism Hoax by Ron Unz

Many European Jews have wholeheartedly backed the Jewish State even as it commits this gigantic public massacre, and this has naturally provoked a certain amount of popular criticism. Deeply concerned by this latter situation, the New York Times last week ran yet another major article on the desperate need to combat such “anti-Semitic” sentiments in Europe, obviously one of the world’s most dreadful problems.

A few days ago, I’d asked an American academic friend of mine how his colleagues were reacting to this astonishing situation and he replied:

People are too scared to broadcast their views, I think…But I think a good fraction of even normie academics realize there is something monstrous going on.

This sounds plausible to me, and another senior academic I know reported a roughly similar situation. Fear stalks the land.

Students at our most elite universities have been threatened with permanent employment blacklisting if they supported the Palestinian cause, and a long list of Jewish billionaires have mounted similar attacks against the academic institutions themselves, something I cannot recall ever happening in the past. As a result, a legal analysis article commissioned and approved for publication in the prestigious Harvard Law Review was scrapped at the last moment.

From its earliest roots in the terroristic Irgun, Israel’s ruling Likud party has always endorsed the creation of a Greater Israel—“From the River to the Sea”—proclaiming that territory must be placed under Jewish rule, with all non-Jews subjugated, expelled, or killed. But in recent decades, progressive anti-Zionists have co-opted that same ambiguous slogan, using it to symbolize their goal of a unified country of Palestine, a secular democratic state providing equal rights for both Jews and non-Jews, two populations of similar size. This would naturally involve the dissolution of the existing Jewish state, absolute anathema to committed Zionists.

Propelled by the horrific images of dead babies in Gaza, this controversial phrase soon began trending among anti-Zionists on Twitter along with talk of “decolonizing” the Israeli settler-state. Wilting under intense Zionist attacks, owner Elon Musk—the world’s wealthiest man—declared that these rather vague and innocuous progressive slogans constituted incitement to “genocide,” with their use being grounds for an immediate ban from his platform. By contrast, I haven’t heard that Musk has banned any of the Israeli politicians or activists publicly calling for the total annihilation of all Palestinians.

Famed Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon had spent decades as a prominent progressive activist, involved in a very wide range of political causes, many of them denounced as “anti-American” by her conservative opponents, and she earned the enthusiastic praise of her peers for her commitment. Yet when she recently showed some public sympathy for the Palestinians, a helpless people now being butchered by the thousands and perhaps soon by the tens of thousands, she was summarily “cancelled” by her longtime talent agency, and others have suffered a similar fate. Around the same time, Maha Dahkil, one of Hollywood’s top talent agents, was demoted and nearly fired for similar reasons. Even before the current fighting began, 80-year-old leftist rockstar Roger Waters of Pink Floyd had been vilified in the international media for supporting Palestinian rights and even bizarrely threatened with a German arrest warrant for supposedly glorifying Nazism.

The lethal accusation of “anti-Semitism” is the charge leveled against all of these individuals, and fear of suffering a similar fate surely keeps a vast number of their like-minded peers silent. In our current Western world, that indictment carries the same weight as “congress with Lucifer” might have held in the Old Salem of the Witch-Trials era.

I discovered that such timidity even extends to many alternative websites and left-liberal bloggers. Although the horrific events in the Israel/Gaza conflict have totally dominated the global headlines during the last few weeks, I’d become rather disappointed that the coverage of such matters had seemed relatively subdued and circumspect.

Yemeni's are very selective in targeting commercial traffic. I was listening a discussion about the "Hidden Maritime War 2019-2022 in the Red Sea and Persian Golf", the other day. The analyst mentioned that all ships targeted by Ansarallah (11 in total) were owned by individuals/firms very closely connected to Zionist Security or Military-Industrial complex.

Does not have to be a commercial ship. The USS Eisenhower and group have sailed past the straights of Hormuz deep into the Persian Gulf.
This is a clear challenge to Iran to sink them. A task that Iran is totally capable of.
This is madness. Putting a big fat target like a Carrier directly in harms way in the middle of a pond.
Is the US planning to sacrifice its ships and thousands of crew to start a long sought after war with Iran? If so it is a very stupid move. The US has been doing a lot of stupid things lately. Like starting war they cant possibly win.

Gabor Maté said recently that when a person blocks pain, trauma results, which hardens the heart. It can happen to entire societies.

This has happened in the Likudnik society. Gabor thinks it will only worsen as it is a self-feeding cycle of heart hardening unless there is an intervention.
(This from his most recent zoom conversation at consortium news, said as comment to a canuk/pal doctor (and his toddler) who described the medical situation in Gaza.)

Today's Washington Post has a front page article on how Pope Francis told Israeli President Herzog over the phone in late October "It is forbidden to respond to terror with terror." The source is said to be "a senior Israeli official familiar with the call."

Why is this only being reported now? The Washington Post clearly wants to limit what Israel does in its resumption of the war. But who leaked the news to the Post? It must have been an Israeli who similarly wanted to limit the violence. I would hazard the guess that the leaker was Herzog himself.

Somewhat OT, but still, I think, relevant, Larry Johnson, a 'veteran of the CIA and the State Department's Office of Counter Terrorism, according to his blog (and an intense critique of the Ukraine war and the west's actions), has a revealing take on Palestine. On the one hand, he is appalled by the war crimes, on the other, he insists on a narrative of Israeli incompetence leading up to and continuing after 10/7. Despite all the evidence for a false flag, and the long-standing public policy of the Zionists which is being executed in the field as I write, he insists that "Hamas shot itself in the head," with the killing of three Israeli civilians yesterday. Perhaps, but as the creation of Netanyahoo and his cronies, Hamas shot itself in the head to further Zionist aims, much as Zelensky shot himself in the head to further US aims.

My point here is that 'Veteran of the CIA and the Office of Counter Terrorism' does not mean that he is no longer an operative. I am sure many barflies are well aware of this, but it wants pointing out to some: An age old tactic of the CIA, and other ruling class organizations before it, is to position assets to make 'limited hangouts' that attract the and often lead the opinions of people 'in opposition' to the regime. 'Ex-CIA' is an oxymoron, Ray McGovern not withstanding. At the very least it designates an individual who was deeply indoctrinated in the CIA mind-set, and even if their break with their former masters is sincere, their perspective is constrained by that. I find some of the arguments from people like Johnson, McGovern, and (Ex-marine) Scott Ritter interesting and well-informed, but few of them penetrate very deeply beneath the surface of the Official Narrative. Ritter, at least, has some street cred for actually being jailed by lawfare, but that cuts both ways, as can be seen in the fact that the now dead terrorists of yesterday's attack spent time in Israel's prisons.

Johnson, btw, removes posts that suggest his 'idiot Israeli's' narrative might be less than sincere.

Blinken actually spoke to the COP28 Conference today to take credit for U.S. programs addressing food insecurity. His talk, apparently, received applause. It would be interesting to know who said what and what the calculations were when CIA Burns met with reps from Egypt, Qatar and Israel on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the U.S. United Nations rep declared in the Security Council that Israel's self-defence, under terms formulated only by Israel, overrides any and all international laws.

The following is an example of Israel's formulations:

"The loosening of rules within the Israeli army on attacking "non-military" targets may have contributed to the massive death toll in the Gaza Strip since 7 October, a new report has suggested. A joint investigation by Israeli outlets 972+ Mag and Local Call, including interviews with multiple current and former intelligence officials, indicates that lower expectations on limiting civilian targets were combined with the use of AI to generate a wider range of targets, which one person branded a "mass assassination factory".

In at least one case, sources said Israeli army intelligence approved the death of hundreds of Palestinians as part of an attempt to assassinate one Hamas military commander. When compared with previous Gaza assaults, there has been a major expansion of "non-military targets", with private residences, infrastructure and high-rise blocks - all defined as "power targets" - now fair game for attacks. “The numbers increased from dozens of civilian deaths [permitted] as collateral damage as part of an attack on a senior official in previous operations, to hundreds of civilian deaths as collateral damage,” one source told the outlets."
