Zionist ground operation has now slowed. Not a great deal of difference to the the last one I posted here perhaps a week ago. A block in the south has been completely cut off, at least on the surface but the two blocks in the north are not quite cut off though I assume that will occur in the near future. How long the fighters can hold out I guess depends on what they have stored underground plus whatever they can get through rat lines.

A lot has been coming out in Israeli media about Israel forces firing on Israeli civilians on Oct 7. It remains to be seen how long Israel holds together, though from what Crooke has been saying and also the open genocide intent on Israeli TV the same as in Ukraine, plus the US backing Nutty means he may stay in power as long as the US needs a useful tool to command their unsinkable aircraft carrier in the region. US have made it plain they want Hamas ousted and Gaza to come under the control of their west bank stooge.

Last night I discovered The Electronic Intifada for the first time. Great recent news source. They are tuned into various sources IN Gaza almost as rapidly as events unfold. Learned a lot last night about the resilience of the resistance there. Well worth looking into. It will be a go-to on a regular basis for me.

The dashing General Yahya Sarea assures us that only non-Izzraeli ships will be targeted in the Red Sea:

Yemen’s Armed Forces spokesman, General Yahya Sarea announced that the Yemeni navy carried out a military operation against two container ships heading to the “Israeli” entity.

Addressing a public rally in Sanaa in support of Gaza, General Sarea said, “The operation targeted the two ships: MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III.”

The two ships heading to the entity were targeted with two suitable naval missiles, General Sarea added.

“The targeting of the ships came after their crews refused to respond to the calls of the Yemeni Navy and warning fire messages.”

General Sarea reassured all ships heading to ports worldwide, except “Israeli” ports, that they will not be harmed, and that they should keep their transponders on.

That's two more ships today for a total of four ?

I'm a bit disappointed in the Houthi though, I think they should have closed all shipping through the Bab El Mandeb, Izzraeli or not.

Is the USA partnered closely with Israel in an act of genocide?

COVID was all about mail in ballots and a rigged election. How many people in the World died to get Biden elected? How was Biden able to predict the pandemic before it happened?

The genocide of the Palestinians has American fingerprints on it too.

A deliberate atrocity designed to provoke “do Gooder Putin” into an intemperate response which traps Russia into a second front, provokes Iran into actions which can be used as an excuse for war, destabilises the Middle East, disrupts the `Belt and Road initiative, and leaves the BRICS in turmoil, if not at each others throats.

The evidence is in front of you. The support of Israel by the `West is all the evidence we need for us to know the purpose and the instigators behind the Genocide.

The West is revealed in all its filth, corruption, and murderous manipulations.
Fortunately, Putin and the majority of the World understand the “game” being played, and are allowing the US and the West to reveal their true and revolting nature.

@ aristodemos 3
"...The Electronic Intifada ... Well worth looking into."

I stopped reading the California college professor's website over 10 years ago, when he accused Gilad Atzmon of being an anti-semite. It was just a short entry and Dr. Ali Abunimah did not give any proof or context for his accusation. Someone pulled his string and the little puppet just fibbed. It was obvious BS, an attack at a moment when we most needed to hear what Atzmon was saying. After I discovered Dr. Abunimah was willing to tell one lie, I didn't care to stick around to hear the next lie or the one after that. Electronic Intifada carries a lot of news and even 10 years later, I guess most of it is true, as it was back then. But it's not worth my time to try to pick out the poison, and the toxin could be so cleverly disguised that I might accidentally swallow it. I have other news sources offering less material per site, but I can trust them.

ALL college professors have their careers at stake, so they are muzzled. If they step out of line, their career gets cancelled. Voltaire from the 1700's: "He who dares not offend, dares not tell the truth." Norman Finkelstein was denied tenure at St. Paul Univ. in Chicago after years of teaching and stellar recommendations. Around 2019, a professor in Canada, Saskatchewan IIRC, who had tenure for many years and thought he could speak some truth about Palestine in a measured manner, found himself out of a job within the week.

Ah yes, just like “no one has done more for Gazan aid than the United States, minus the JDAMs and metric tonnage of bunker buster bombs Israel is using indiscriminately to murder and maim without a word of condemnation from us as we vote down every U.N. ceasefire resolution.“

Israelis prove themselves increasingly incapable of functional governance with every passing day. They’re no different than Ukraine in that they’ll immediately change tune once the money cuts off. They’re much different than Ukraine in that they’ve successfully purchased the bulk of congressional representation.

The Empire expels grunts of displeasure:

Axios reported on Friday that the administration of US President Joe Biden has sent warning messages to the Yemeni revolutionaries over attacks on ships in the Red Sea and against the Zionist entity.

The American news website cited two US officials as saying that the US messages were delivered via several channels.

US special envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking, who visited the Gulf in recent days, asked his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar to convey warning messages to the Houthis, the officials said, according to Axios.

Lenderking stressed the US is highly concerned about Houthi attacks that threaten freedom of navigation in international waters, the report added.

It cited the officials as saying that “several countries in the region gave similar messages to the Houthis over the last two weeks and made clear Houthi attacks on vessels in the Red Sea or against Israel over their territory are unacceptable.”

However, the officials admitted that “these warnings so far haven’t led the Houthis to de-escalate their attacks,” according to the American news website.

Axios highlighted, meanwhile, that the arrival of merchant ships at the Israeli port of “Eilat”, known in Arabic as Um Al-Rashrash has “almost completely stopped” due to attacks from the Yemeni revolutionaries against ships in the Red Sea bounded for the Zionist entity.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7th, more than 70 drones and ballistic missiles were launched from Yemen towards the Zionist entity, the news website reported.

It added that in recent weeks, the “Houthis” escalated their attacks and started targeting commercial ships in the vicinity of the Bab el-Mandeb strait in the Red Sea.

Earlier on Thursday, the Yemeni Navy staged a drone attack on a cargo ship, which was en route to the Zionist entity.

In a statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the attack, adding that a direct hit was confirmed after the Maersk Gibraltar’s crew refused to respond to warning calls from the Yemeni Naval Forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces underlined that they will go ahead with operations aimed at preventing all ships heading to Israeli occupation ports from navigating in the Arabian and Red Seas until the entry of needed food and medicine to the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israel-Palestine Weekly Update: May be useful to some: https://robcampbell.substack.com/p/israel-palestine-weekly-update-1e7

No. It is you who are an advocate of Genocide. How do I know this? You (and unfortunataly others at MOA) have written at MOA many times to advocate killing everybody in Israel is fine.

Posted by: genocidal | Dec 15 2023 17:45 utc | 31

Rubbish.

Here is what I advocated:

Convention-0000 of the Fair World Order:

Principle a): The term "civilian" does not apply to any part of a settler colonial occupation. The correct term to apply to non-combatants engaged in settler colonialism is simply "occupiers" since they are actively engaged in the act of "occupation".

Principle b): Since these "occupiers" (referenced in Principle a)) inflict the bulk of the injustice of occupation upon the native population (being active in the actual theft and dispossession of land and removal of it's cultural and ethnic character) it follows that any resistance carried out by native population should equally, or to an even greater degree, be carried out against the non-combatant component of the occupation.

Principle c): The intent and effectiveness of Principle a) and Principle b) is to levy an extreme price on the practice of settler colonialism and thereby act as a deterrent to future colonial acts: The assurance that all supporters, facilitators and executors of settler colonialism, regardless of the means of these actions (whether by military or other means) will be legal targets of resistance in perpetuity should provide a deterrent effect, or a means of redress once the enforcement of Convention-0000 is in effect.

Provision 1 of Convention-0000: Children of the Settler Occupier

Provision 1.1: Children of the settler occupiers are essentially human shields brought onto an active battlefield. These children are to be regarded as victims of occupation and all efforts made to remove them from the battlefield by the occupier.
Provision 1.2: Should settler occupier children be harmed as a collateral effect of carrying out resistance actions the judgement and penalty will be levied against the settler occupiers responsible for placing those children in harm's way.
Provision 1.3: Should settler occupier children exceed the age of minority and remain on the active battlefield it shall reasonably be assumed that they have consented to the practice of settler occupation and shall be subject to Principles a), b) and c).

Provision 2 of Convention-0000: Employees of the Settler Occupier

Provision 2.1: Contracted Employees of the Settler Occupier shall be regarded as willing participants in the process of settler occupation. The evidence of consent is to be represented by the contract signed by the employee.

Provision 3 of Convention-0000: Slaves of the Settler Occupier

Provision 3.1: Provision 1.1 of Convention-0000 apply to slaves or forced labour used by the settler occupier to facilitate an occupation.
Provision 3.2: With the addition: Should slaves be granted freedom and remain on the active battlefield it shall reasonably be assumed that they have consented to the practice of settler occupation and shall be subject to Principles a) b) and c).

So again, my question that you are too cowardly to answer:

Do you support the genocide of Palestinians being carried out by Zionist Jews (the IDF and others) in Gaza and the West Bank?

How do you know what the intent of Izzrael is? They have clearly said in public on television their intent is to wipe out the population of gaza. The Izzraeli government have stated their intent and it is a matter of public record.

It amazes me how the hasbara merchants can lie through their teeth so brazenly.
It must be a combination of natural talent, years of practice and genetic inheritance.

Israel has not given a single shekel's worth of aid to Gaza. They always skim off the top from any foreign aid that reaches Gaza.

They whine and kvetch and oy vey about "Hamas rockets" while dropping the equivalent of more than 4 atom bombs on Gaza.

If there are no Gaza "civilians", then how many Zionist "civilians" are there?
How many of them are male soldiers, female soldiers, or child future settlers?

They have the chutzpah to belly ache about "holocausts" from ancient history and demand a "holocaust" museum on every street corner whilst brazenly and repeatedly declaring their intention to commit genocide, and demanding that everybody else cheerlead them as they do so.

Those who take a longer look and have the eyes to see are able to put the US government’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in the context of the intermittent US genocide of Iraqis beginning with Desert Storm in the early 1990s.

Sec. of State Madeleine Albright’s statement that the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children due to actual war, cancers caused by remnant radiation from depleted Uranium munitions, and lack of food and medicine caused by US embargoes remains a frightening admission of the utterly degraded morality of US decision makers.

To expect the US to stop Israel from the current genocide, or even to divert their course of action, is inconsistent with past decades of US actions. It will continue until there is either revolutionary regime change, optimistically via elections, institution of term limits, elimination of the power of lobbyists, and elimination of political donations in the US (all highly unlikely), or the isolation of the US by the ROW (also highly unlikely to be accomplished in time to save the Palestinians.

The US is relying upon the opposition of the ROW to a world war, bringing brinksmanship to its most cynical state yet.

The only definitive attribute of being a 'Jew' ... is their innate belief that they are SUPERIOR, CHOSEN... even those who claim to not believe in God.

Is it not that mistaken belief that enables them to accept the genocide of others ?

Please don't throw down that "cultural" card... prior to Oct. 7th Israel was experiencing months of protests against Netanyahoo and his advancement of 'judicial reform'... while so-called 'secular' Jews were interviewed relating the various cultural differences amongst Israeli 'Jews'.

As for the comment upthread that 'israel' has 'lost' its legitimacy ... it is my view that it never possessed legitimacy... only the protection of the USA enabled zionists to steal and continue to steal property from the Palestinians and claim to be a 'nation' while ONLY an occupier. 'isreal' has never 'established' boundaries... because it will NEVER stop stealing land until only a handful of others exist across the planet.

The resistance axis is doing great damage to Israel’s economy, with Yemen being the big game changer. According to Israeli paper Haaretz:

1
THE GAZA FRONT (HAMAS) “has forced Israel to call up some 360,000 reservists and evacuate tens of thousands of people from their homes in the south while much economic activity there has ground to a halt.”

2
THE LEBANON FRONT (HEZBOLLAH) “is doing much the same economic damage in the north.

The cost to the economy from these two fronts has been enormous. The treasury expects the Israeli economy to shrink by a 15 percent annual rate in the fourth quarter. Including workers being put on unpaid leave, unemployment soared to 9.6 percent in October – from 3.6 percent the previous month. Retail sales remain depressed, while incoming tourism has sunk to pandemic levels.”

3
THE YEMEN FRONT “presents an entirely new threat to the economy because it is targeting Israel's international trade.

The Houthi attacks are already pinching Israel's maritime trade. Cargo traffic at Eilat port is down by 80 percent and the cost of marine insurance for Israeli-owned (and now presumably Israel-bound) vessels is soaring. Companies like Israel's Zim are rerouting their ships away from the Red Sea, having them go around Africa instead – a change that adds two weeks to the voyage. All of this will add to the costs of imports, which will be passed on to the Israeli consumer.”

There's little if anything I believe anymore. The last nail in my trust coffin was nailed by the scamdemic. The fear porn overwhelmed my good sense and I'll do my best not to Let that happen again. As to the slaughter in Gaza; the pictures of the destroyed infrastructure and homes tells me everything I need to know. The whole western world has turned out to be a monster civilization. Leadership ALL feckless. 75 years of the people/sheeple being taught self flagellation and self hate has taken Germany, a once great civilization into a nation that prostrates itself before the US and the globalist financial cartel. Anyone who believes that the chosen people don't run the western world is wilfully blind.

One of your best. The Houthis are totally hard-core, perhaps even more so than the Afghans. If the collectivized Waste thinks they can batter those guys, they certainly got another think coming. Maritime security is now constipated on both the Ba/Suez and the entrance to the Persian Gulf. That does it for world oil supplies and all that depends on that basis for contemporary "civilization". Now, should Algeria get into the act and make matters a bit sticky around Gibraltar, all bets are off. It would be a three-way freeway with a total traffic-jam and the end of the world economy as we know it.

The Wild-Cards are in the catbird seat.

After reading seriously deranged twits on X with hundreds of approving replies, I am not particularly surprised:

https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/14/us/georgia-teacher-arrested-threatening-muslim-student-israeli-flag/index.html

Reese began walking back to his classroom, the teacher added, when she says she heard him yelling, “She is a stupid motherf***er, and I will drag her by the back of my car and cut her f***ing head off for disrespecting my Jewish flag,” the report stated. [This middle school teacher put Israel flag on the classroom wall, and a Muslim girl objected]

A separate adult witness reported to the deputy she heard Reese yell at the student, “You don’t make an antisemitic comment like that to a Jew,” and later shouting in the hallway that he would “slit her f***ing throat” when talking about the students. That teacher said Reese was yelling loudly and cursing down the hallway back into his classroom.

The US knew people were being "delivered for slaughter" during a political purge in Indonesia during the 1960s, declassified documents reveal.

At least 500,000 people were killed between 1965 and 1966, after the army and local Muslim militia went on a rampage following an attempted coup.
It was one of the worst massacres of the 20th Century, but, at the time, Washington remained silent.
Five decades later, the contents of the US telegrams are chilling.

According to one from US embassy staff in East Java, dated 28 December 1965, "victims are taken out of populous areas before being killed and bodies are buried rather than thrown in river" as they had been previously. The telegram says prisoners suspected of being communists are also "being delivered to civilians for slaughter".

Another document compiled by the US embassy's first secretary, dated 17 December 1965, was a detailed list of the communist leaders across the country and whether they had been arrested or killed.

But the documents also make for uncomfortable reading for Indonesia's biggest and most powerful Muslim organisations.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-41651047
-------------------------------------------------------------------

"They came on carts pulled by cows...their hands were tied together with rope. They were forced to kneel, then shot in the back by soldiers and kicked into mass graves."

The violence was unleashed after communists were accused of killing six generals in an attempted coup. It was the peak of the Cold War and a power battle between communists, the military and Islamic groups was in full swing.

The army and local militia went on an anti-Communist rampage, killing, it is estimated, at least half-a-million and up to three million people within a year.

For almost 50 years speaking about that time has been taboo and official history books gloss over the killings.

Where previous governments refused to apologise or even accept that it happened, President Joko Widodo's investigation has seen senior ministers meet with survivors. There is even talk of digging up mass graves such as this.

"I am not afraid anymore, I am proud to tell you the truth. I never thought there would be a time like this. Before I only knew fear," Radim says.

But this clearly doesn't come without risks."

I don't understand why "g" thinks Pakistan and Iran returning Afghanis back to Afghanland now that the Anglos are gone and the war is over is an issue. They were war refugees and the war is over and they need to go back home and build their country. Refugees are supposed to be temporary, not permanent.

Similarly, Syrians in Europe and Palestinians in camps in Lebanon and Jordan and elsewhere should be allowed/encouraged to go back home, the former to Syria and the latter to Israel.

As a colonizer, the former Tsarist domain with its colonization measures...trying to keep up with the exo-colonizers such as Britain, France and the Netherlands...has transmutated into the current RU, or Russian Federation which has done much for their various ethnicities.

Case in point: Check out the roles which the Chechen units have undertaken, such as the liberation of Mariupol from the Azov battalion and other genociders. Not so many years back, a proportion of Chechens, those of the Islamist faction, were defeated by the Russians in a very bloody war. After peace was imposed, Russia went out of its way to rebuild Grozny into a thriving metropolis.

The cooler heads amongst the Chechens then realized that they are a PART of the Russian Federation.

Not shure if it has been mentioned and not shure in which tread to actually post it.

but Masha Gessen's (famous Putin critic) was supposed to be awarded with the Hannah Arendt Prize (in Germany) but after she compared Gaza with the Warsaw Ghetto (in the NewYorker), the award was postponed / canceled.
It seems like the Heinrich Böll Stiftung (Green party) pulled the support.
Intresting angle i think, if the Böll Stiftung rumor is true.

Not that it really matters what she says but it reveals a crack with in the establishment which only will grow. Her virulent anti-Putinism and trans activism is not enough if it comes to german historical self image.

Re: Hannah Arendt Prize ?

The paradox is Arendt would very much have compared Gaza with the Warsaw Ghetto. As this 1948 letter to the NYTs signed by Arendt shows:

….(excerpt) .The discrepancies between the bold claims now being made by Begin and his party, and their record of past performance in Palestine bear the imprint of no ordinary political party. This is the unmistakable stamp of a Fascist party for whom terrorism (against Jews, Arabs, and British alike), and misrepresentation are means, and a "Leader State" is the goal…..

Last night I discovered The Electronic Intifada for the first time. Great recent news source.
Posted by: aristodemos | Dec 15 2023 15:52 utc | 3

Yes Electronic Intifada is one of the best for overall coverage, especially their livestreams twice a week. What is terrible sad though is that the voices from Gaza they've been bringing on increasingly are getting killed or not able to stay in touch. Refaat was on one of their earliest livestreams from October. They were the first to translate the Yasmin Porat interview which led to all the indy media investigations into Oct 7.

The Quds Nen telegram channel covers almost all major developments on the ground. They have a website https://qudsnen.co/ and are on X but the Telegram is the fastest and most up to date. Quds Nen was banned by FB.

It basically predates by 24-48 hours everything that will be on the news.

There is also mondoweiss of course.

People interested in military stuff can see the videos from Al Qassam and Al Quds directly although Jon Elmer on Electronic Intifada livestreams always has a good summary and analysis.

Max Blumenthal is very knowledgeable about Israel but Grayzone don't have frequent updates although his X does.

Breakthrough News youtube channel and livestreams have excellent guests.

Everyone else, such as Judge Nap's guests mostly just add opinion to info from these primary sources above, as well as summarizing from Israeli media. Most Haarezt stuff is behind a paywall.

Of the MSM only Al Jazeera and Anadolu Ajansi are worth the time of the day. Two of their journalists were attacked in an airstrike today. One has succumbed to his injuries. The one who survived had his family killed previously.

Also two Anadolu journalists were beaten up in East Jersualem.

The total number of journalists killed now is almost 90.

ps: guys just ignore the g-string and his murderous buddy. It detracts from the discussion. They'll go away when nobody pays attention.

Posted by: genocidal | Dec 15 2023 19:45 utc | 89

Being Jewish is nothing special.

Either there is a fantasy concept behind it (religion).
Whoever wants to can believe that.
Or it has something to do with ancestry. Then someone fucked your mother who was "Jewish". This is then supposed to go back in a chain of descent to the emergence of Judaism.
In other words, the ancestors are actually non-Jews.

Israeli citizens can call themselves whatever they want
Their deeds speak for themselves.
Of course they don't mind resistance, just like IS.

The Israelis are also not criticised for their religion or their origin. A change of residence, religion, skin and eye colour would not change anything if they do not change their behaviour.

But you're here to troll.

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/asia-pacific/china-saudi-arabia-iran-call-for-immediate-cease-fire-in-gaza/3083847

China, Saudi Arabia and Iran on Friday urged for the "immediate cessation of military operations in Gaza" and the flow of "sustainable relief" to Palestinians in the tiny enclave.

The call was made in a joint statement after a meeting for the deputy foreign ministers of the three countries in the Chinese capital Beijing held to follow up on the reconciliation agreement, known as the Beijing Agreement, between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

They also categorically rejected any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from their lands, the statement noted.

The three countries also stressed "that any arrangement regarding the future of Palestine must reflect the will of the Palestinian people, supporting their right to establish their own state and determine their destiny."

Euro med monitor statement today said death toll is now at least 25,000 with over 51,000 injured.

There are accounted for 18,800 deaths and about 8,000 missing.

Shaffer is another 'ex' intelligence officer. His peculiar history post 2003 suggests a covert transfer to the CIA more than a whistleblower being crushed. I think it's unwise to put any faith in any of these 'ex intelligence officers,' as whatever they may be saying now, they were once active participants in operations we all know to have been corrupt and fundamentally evil. Whatever kind of redemption arc folks might want to believe in, the fact is that just by being brought into the positions they were 'forced out of,' they were compromised, and the people they work for still have leverage over them. Most of them are pretty obviously in the Limited Hangout Business, as well as being bait to get people on watch lists. Their insights are generally far behind many of their commenters, and their allegiances get exposed by their gyrations over issues like Gaza.
