This is undeniable: historically foreign powers use whatever leverage or fracture in a society to achieve their aims. The issue with this line of reasoning, which is why I pushback on it, is that it does not address the actual problem (which persists and that is the ready recruiting ground for spook projects) and denies agency to the peoples involved. I made it a point to avoid the visuals of this evil group (as they are psychologically caustic ) that was so ‘helpfully’ pushed by Western headgame machine (aka journalism & entertainment in some quarters), but glimpses made it clear that one of its primary purposes was to blacken Islam by association.
ISIS is to Islam as Borat is to some Asian ethnic group — an evil caricature designed to denigrate.
It boggled my mind that they even managed to get a start in Muslim lands. Comparing it to a plant, we know the West provided the water and sunlight, but who provided the seed? And the ground?
I have a feeling if the wonderful people of the Middle East answer that puzzle, they will find that western spooks’ track record of successful project management in these lands will come to an end.

Case in point:
All week, Several corporate news outlets are claiming that Social Security is in danger of “going broke.”
The ideologues been saying this since Social Security began 88 years ago. They will be saying it forever. They have said the same thing about The NHS from the day it was created.
The U.S. government can send hundreds of billions to Israel and Ukraine, and it created $2.2 trillion out of thin air for the CARES Act of 2020, but Social Security is “bankrupt.” Lol, pmsl.
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (a private handful of ideological liars in Washington DC) claims that Social Security faces a 23 percent across-the-board benefit cut in 2033. For an average newly retired couple, this means $17,400 less. These idiotic numbers are 100% fictitious and fabricated, a myth wrapped up in corporate sponsers.
Evidently the purpose of this garbage is to keep the peasants hating each other, rather than uniting against their owners.
Case in point: Younger people complain that “boomers” are stealing “all the money” from the (non-existent) Social Security “trust fund.”
Answer: Because gold standard, fixed exchange rate thinking ideology. 100% ensures you actually believe Social security is going broke. That Boomers are stealing from the youth.
That’s even after having a front row seat, 1 yard from the stage, where sits the green curtain. Watched with your own eyes for at least 10 years the art of money creation.
You are a complete and utter danger to society and your fellow human beings.

The area of Central Asia now called Afghanistan was very closely allied with the Persian Empire back in Alexander’s day. Bactria was a province of the Persian Empire, and Persia’s high culture strongly influenced all of Central Asia. Roxana was the daughter of a Bactrian monarch. It was a strategic alliance.
Afghanistan/Kabul was the source of the Mogul dynasty and Empire that ruled most of India for centuries.
It is a misconception to think of Afghanistan as solely goatherds!! Much of Afghan’s great cultural legacy has been obliterated by various imperialists. Even those who traveled in “unspoiled” Afghanistan of the 1960s mourn the destruction via warfare of so much that was wonderful about the country since then. I have never been there, but I have friends who spent quite a lot of time there.
It is akin to (but not the same as) the obliteration that the Zionists have inflicted on Palestine. Plus, the Zionists have appropriated a lot of Palestinian culture.
