The Houthis have pledged to target “all ships in the Red Sea bound for Israeli ports, regardless of their nationality”. Attacks, they say, will continue until Gaza receives the food and medicine it needs.

I do not know about Seychelles but Bahrain is not a “tax haven” in the technical sense. It does not have low tax rates for non domiciled investors. It has either no taxes or corporate tax of 46% for those engaged in development, production or refining of hydrocarbon. It may introduce a corporate tax rate.

GD IV exposed unlawful arbitrage in finance markets, offshore “letterbox” companies of “beneficial owners” eNTitIeS, and enormous fiscal liability—rightly attributed by Pat and Pat Homeowner to de-regulation of G7 banking systems. For a minute, G7 governors publicly debated how easily to recover losses, harmonize corporate eNTitY tax rates, or stitch up a universal Security or Financial Transaction Tax (STT or FTT) to defeat “competition” between advanced economies for lowest nominal corp tax rate.
Instead of investigating the “Lagarde List”, the OECD became a forum for designing mechanisms to eliminate Base Erosion and Profit (BEP) in third-countries whose primitive legal structures harbor the ill-gotten gains of G7 eNTitIeS and jeopardize state access to FDI and MFI ummm social credit.
Working together within OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS, over 140 countries and jurisdictions are collaborating on the implementation of 15 measures to tackle tax avoidance, improve the coherence of international tax rules and ensure a more transparent tax environment.
In Dec 2019, the EC issued its BEPS Package, comprised of a “Code of Conduct for Business Taxation” (not legally binding on EU members) and a list of third-countries, ANNEX I – II, classified “non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes” (black) and subsets of deficient BUT co-operative jurisdictions (grey) juristictions which had committed in some form or another to sign, ratify, and implement the OECD Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters (MAC).
“Black” – Non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes:
American Samoa, Bahrain, Barbados, Grenada, Guam, Korea (Republic of), Macao SAR*, Marshall Islands, Mongolia, Namibia, Palau, Panama, St Lucia, Samoa, Trinidad and Tabago, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates

Andorra, Armenia, Aruba, Belize, Botswana, Cabo Verde, Cook Islands, Curacao, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR*, Jordan, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Mauritius, Morocco, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Seychelles, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, Andorra, Armenia, Aruba, Belize, Botswana, Cabo Verde, Cook Islands, Curacao, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR*, Jordan, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Mauritius, Morocco, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Seychelles, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, Vietnam

I haven’t monitor changes since. I can’t even keep up with routine US Treasury OFAC sanctions lists, sanctions programs, and sheister calls.
