Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

One Religion’s War Against All Others

Alastair Crooke in Al Mayadeen:

Israeli popular sentiment — even amongst former liberals — is moving toward a Greater Nakba. Gaza is under Nakba pressures. So is the West Bank, as settler violence against Palestinians surges. Even a ‘liberal’ such as former opposition leader Lapid now agrees that ‘settlers’ in the occupied West Bank are not ‘settlers’ at all, since the land is but the ‘Biblical land of Israel’.

Nakba ‘ambitions’ are widening to South Lebanon (up to the Litani River) too. The radical members of Netanyahu’s government say Israelis will never return to the kibbutz adjacent to Lebanon, without Hezbollah’s removal from the border area.

So, the call is heard for "Israel" to ‘take’ Lebanon up to the Litani (a key water source) — and ‘serendipitously’ the Israeli air force has begun operating up to 40 kms inside Lebanon. Cabinet members now openly speak of the IOF needing to turn its attention to Hezbollah once Hamas has been ‘obliterated’.

Plainly, the White House is struggling to avoid the slide towards full regional war, as both the Lebanese front and the Iraqi front heats up: On Sunday, Iraqi movements again fired missiles at the American base in Shaddadi.

"Israel" is sensing the present crisis to be both an existential risk, but an ‘opportunity’ too – an opportunity to establish "Israel" across ‘its Biblical lands’ over the long term. There is no mistaking it — this is the direction of travel of Israeli popular sentiment, from both Left and Right wings, to bloody eschatology.

As I had pointed out three weeks ago President Joe Biden had supported that Israeli Nakba strategy before he was forced to pull back:

US 'actively working' to establish safe corridor for Gaza civilians: White HouseYeni Safak – Oct 12, 2023 The US is in active talks with Israel and Egypt to establish "safe passage" corridors for civilians in Gaza to flee ongoing Israeli airstrikes, the White House said Wednesday amid an expected ground offensive in the besieged enclave.

"We're actively discussing this with our Israeli and our Egyptian counterparts, we support safe passions for civilians. Civilians are not to blame for what Hamas has done. They didn't do anything wrong," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters at the White House.

"We are actively working on this with Egyptian and our Israeli counterparts. Civilians are protected under the laws of armed conflict, and they should be given every opportunity to avoid the fighting," he added.

Israel is continuously squeezing the 2.3 million people in Gaza towards the Egyptian border:

Israel drops leaflets warning people to flee southern Gaza townsGuardian – Nov 16 2023

Israel has dropped leaflets into southern Gaza telling Palestinian civilians to leave four towns on the eastern edge of Khan Younis, raising fears that its war against Hamas could spread to areas it previously said were safe. The flyers told civilians in Bani Shuhaila, Khuza’a, Abassan and al-Qarara that anyone in the vicinity of militants or their positions was “putting his life in danger”, local people told Reuters.

The UN’s human rights chief, Volker Türk, said that five weeks into the war, “massive outbreaks of infectious disease, and hunger” seemed inevitable in the densely populated Palestinian territory. He predicted catastrophic consequences if fuel supplies ran out, including the collapse of sewage systems and healthcare and an end to the already scarce supplies of humanitarian aid.

The intentionally created misery will be used to put pressure on Egypt and others to open their borders for refugees. Then the same method will be applied in the West Bank. South Lebanon up the Litani river is a more difficult matter as Hizbullah, once unleashed, is a real existential thread to Israel. The rick there is to get the U.S. to do the bloody work.

And all this would not stop there as some extremist settlers want even more foreign land:

What are the borders of that Jewish nation?

The borders of the homeland of the Jews are the Euphrates in the east and the Nile in the southwest. [This would include the territory of multiple Middle Eastern countries as well as the territory that Israel controls today.]

There’s a Palestinian slogan that has become very controversial: “From the river to the sea,” which means from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. It’s controversial because it would include all the land that currently makes up Israel. But you’re saying from the river to the—

What is controversial?

Palestinians sometimes use the slogan “From the river to the sea.” But what you’re saying is that from the river to the Nile is the Jewish homeland, correct?

Of course. If someone decides to invent a new religion today, who will decide the rules? The first nation that got the word from God, the promise from God—the first nation is the one who has the right to it. The others that follow—Christianity and Islam, with their demands, with their perceptions—they’re imitating what existed already. So, why in Israel? They could be anywhere in the world. They came after us, in the double sense of the world.

This is a war by a significant number of believers in one religion against all others.

Paraphrasing the two above posts:
• There are no rules when it comes to U.S. empire.
• Power is ultimately about mind control.
Two points of analysis that taken as a basis has some chance of being built into a theory for human progress in the 21st century.
The remainder of thousands of posts made here opining grievances and battle tactics are a waste of time.
The burden of the rule of law is upon the society promulgating that law.
We see that the U.S. had completely failed at its own ideology in the great affairs that led to the Pentagon/WTC attacks on 9/11/2001, and the pretense of retribution upon Iraq to claim its oil.
Today we see the MSM suddenly sanctioning public discourse with the takedowns of the Bin Laden Letter to the American People, because the retribution upon Gaza clearly exposes the motives for the U.S. 9/11 attacks
To put this development in the parlance of that time:
“Never forget!”
It’s obvious to everyone including the most intellectually atrophied and hobbled figures of U.S. and Israeli leadership that the U.S. has no substantial rule of law and that might makes right, devil take the hindmost.
Every form of protest can begin with calls to a renewed regard for secular law, beginning in the Holy Land, and beginning with our own leaders, and a new call for clarity and fidelity in the MSM eschewing manipulation and thought control.
Opinion must give way to principle.

Interesting to hear Hassan Nasrallah’s thoughts on Zionism (old interview):

“There is a misconception prevalent in the Arab world regarding Israel-US relations. We keep repeating this lie about the Zionist lobby – that the Jews rule America and are the real decision-makers, and so on.
“No. America itself is the decision-maker. In America you have the major corporations… You have a trinity of the oil companies, the weapons industry, and the so-called ‘Christian Zionism’. The decision-making is in the hands of this alliance.
“Israel used to be a tool in the hands of the British, and now it is a tool in the hands of America.”

“This is a war by a significant number of believers in one religion against all others.”
The question that poses itself: Is it a “religion”?
Posted by: Fadi | Nov 17 2023 17:59 utc | 73
Since Rome’s destruction of Israel, it does seem to function more like an ethnic geopolitical chamber of commerce than a religion. Considering the unusual number of Zionist atheists, it seems many know the religious side is increasingly just a useful cover for material pursuits. It’s very lucrative in the west to be recognized as an organized religion.
Nonetheless, I’m sure it still has many sincere believers, although they’re probably not calling the shots or allowed to speak for the community.

Proxy are not necessarily under complete and direct control of the principal.
Ukraine would be another example.
And that is part of the appeal of the proxy (attack dog) – the feature of deniability.
Clearly the US could reign Israel in if it chose to.
That the US indicates it cannot, does not make it so.
I think an objective view makes the reality apparent.
But the reality is inconvenient for some.
I may be mistaken.

I think you’re right. Sections of imperialism were certainly surprised by the savagery of the Zionazis, but ultimately imperialism wants a broad war in the middle east to knock out all organized resistance from Gaza to Iran.
Thus, they allow and encourage the genocide to provoke other actors in the region to war, while they believe it’s still possible to dislodge then militarily. This is a more urgent question than ever for western imperialism now that Russia has dramatically checked them in Eurasia and together with China supports the resistance in the middle east in an unprecedented way.

WHY DOES THE US SUPPORT ISRAEL?
November 9, 2023, Ben Norton interviews Michael Hudson
Podcast: https://youtu.be/9AeAfFfTqMk
Transcript: https://michael-hudson.com/2023/11/israel-as-a-landed-aircraft-carrier/
EXCERPTs, Hudson:
… So from the United States, it’s not Israel’s wagging the American tail, just the opposite. You mentioned that America is supporting Israel. I don’t think America is supporting Israel at all, nor do most Israelis, nor do most Democrats.
America is supporting Netanyahu. It’s supporting Likud, not Israel. The majority of Israelis, certainly the non-religious Israelis, the core population of Israel since its founding, is opposing Likud and its policies.
And so what really is happening is that to the United States, Netanyahu is the Israeli version of Zelensky in the Ukraine.
And the advantage of having such an unpleasant, opportunist, and corrupt person as Netanyahu, who is under indictment for his bribery and corruption, is precisely that all of the attention now of the whole world that is so appalled by the attacks going on in Gaza, they’re not blaming the United States.
They’re blaming Israel. They’re blaming Netanyahu and Israel for it, when it’s the United States that has been sending plane load after plane load of bombs, of guns. There are 22,000 machine guns, automatic guns, that are banned for sale in the United States that America is sending for the settlers to use on the West Bank.
… Why are they there? President Biden and Congress say we are not going to have American troops fighting Hamas in Gaza. We’re not going to get involved. Well, if the troops are not going to get involved, why are they there?
Well, we know what the American planes are doing. Yesterday, they bombed yet another airport and a fuel depot in Syria. They’re bombing Syria. And it’s very clear that they’re there not to protect Israel, but to fight Iran.
Again and again, every American newspaper, when it talks about Hamas, it says Hamas is acting on behalf of Iran. When it talks about Hezbollah, and is there going to be an intervention from Lebanon against northern Israel, they say Hezbollah are the Iranian puppets.
…the United States is pushing Israel and Netanyahu to escalate, escalate, escalate, to do something that at a point is going to lead Nasrallah to finally say, okay, we can’t take it anymore. We’re coming in and helping rescue the Gazians and especially rescue the West Bank, where just as much fighting is taking place. We’re going to come in.
And that’s when the United States will then feel free to move not only against Lebanon, but all the way via Syria, Iraq, to Iran.
What we’re seeing in Gaza and the West Bank today is only the catalyst, the trigger for the fact that the neocons say we are never going to have a better chance than we have right now to conquer Iran.

I do recall years ago that the Russian base in Syria had s500. There was complaints even from israeli airlines that they had issues with EW , more talk that s500 could target israeli jets from take off. Some of the problems fighting in such small zones . Taiwan China have the same issue , air defence zones overlap , so a chinese plane taking off is immediately breaching their air defence zone . My thoughts are Russia could deny israeli airforce the ability to mercilessly bomb Gaza by turning from defence posture . Why it hasn’t is global politics I guess , I’m not sure Israel would attack a Russian base as to the consequences. But it all seems odd . Just as odd as Ukraine still profits from untouched gas pipes transiting 404 to this day.

I expect that all the tough talk emanating from Israel and its most zealous supporters is going to come up against a harsh reality in the not too distant future. Israel’s military is not as strong, and its adversaries not as weak as many perceive. Israel is a small country in area and population with a large internal Muslim population, both in the occupied territories and in Israel proper. There is a limit to how much pain and suffering its Jewish citizens will be willing to bear. The proper role of the United States will be to save Israel from itself, as opposed to going to war on its behalf.

The title of the article misses the mark by far IMO. ….By now, it is safe to assert that it is the bottomless support towards Israel by the Anglosphere that has led to the transformation of Zionism from a chauvinist ideology to one of visceral, genocidal racism.
Posted by: Constantine | Nov 17 2023 18:31 utc | 81
Your entire comment should be read slowly by everyone because it’s exactly what is going on.
The title of the article misses the mark but it does so deliberately. Crooke is a champion of this racist Empire. I’ve heard his xenophobic / Islamophobic comments before with reference to Italy where he lives. But he never mentions the Empire wars that created the majority of those immigrants. Wrt Palestine Crooke never mentions the legal ruling I cited, the constant violation of law, apartheid or genocide.
He doesn’t speak Arabic and yet keeps babbling on about “Islamist” blablabla to sell his dumb book. An Indonesian has as much in common with an Algerian as a Bolivian with a Latvian. There is no “Islamic world” any more than Venezuela, Zambia and the UK are BFF in a “Christian world”. Ffs.
@Exile. You are welcome. But 20 years have passed….
The ICC thing by five countries….ICC has already been sitting on Palestine case for 15 years.
The Craig Murray link which someone had posted says it is better to go to the ICJ not the corrupt ICC. Craig Mokhiber the UN guy who resigned also says the same.
There are (at least) three separate things here:
1) Invoke Geneva Convention on genocide for Oct 8 onwards. As Israel loses in face to face conflict they have gone full PSYCHO. Some 150 bodies STOLEN by Israel from Al Shifa (god forbid more illegal organ transplants). Al Shifa is STILL surrounded with no food or water or electricity and patients have wound INFECTED WITH WORMS. No functional hospital in North Gaza. 200 men taken away. In West Bank there’s a full terror campaign, targeting hospitals again.
2) Crimes against humanity prosecution for everything done by Israel prior to Oct 7.
3) Apply 1973 United Nations International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid: Even if Israel had never killed, tortured, maimed, injured, detained, raped and abused a single Palestinian, it still remains an apartheid state based on different rights of return, movement, different legal systems applied based on ethnicity etc.
There are dozens of legal case studies on Israeli apartheid this but coming back to the AngloZio racism and their total control over the global legal order, Israel has never been given the South Africa treatment.
Craig Mokhiber makes the most important point: Law was applied to South Africa and eventually it worked. For Palestine, law was systematically undermined in favour of sham political processes.

The title of the article misses the mark by far IMO. ….By now, it is safe to assert that it is the bottomless support towards Israel by the Anglosphere that has led to the transformation of Zionism from a chauvinist ideology to one of visceral, genocidal racism.

The fairest and most logical solution is to allow the Ashkenzani Jews to return to their ancestral homeland in Poland.
Some German Islamists could be resettled in Palestine. Alternatively an Israel sized state could be carved out of Germany as compensation for the holocaust.
This is a fair and logical solution to an intractable problem.

Since the beginning of the conflict I’ve held the suspicion that Israel has been given the green light by Washington to carry out the ethnic cleansing they have desired for decades against the Palestinians in return for acting as a bridgehead in a war against Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Iran. Turkey is likely also targeted for regime change which is why Erdogan is taking such a hard line.
The US knows that it can’t compete with China in Asia and isn’t going to try. They are capable of increasing their military activity and resource theft in the Middle East and tightening their political control over Europe. Expect a major false flag to justify NATO entry into a war on Syria in the new year.

Once you start placing blame on the victims of empire instead of solely placing blame on empire, you have lost the plot.
Another thing I see often in comment threads is that many expect Russia to act in the same way as the Anglo empire, to be the world policeman.
Crooke is by far the best who writes regularly on the geo-politics behind these wars. What you and others like you are looking for is something that massages for your own views, views developed not from expertise in relevant areas but from emotions.
Religions, extremism operates in exactly the same way. Emotions based decision making rather than fact based decision making.

Jordan getting hot! (machine translation)
http://fna.ir/3fzqpi
Today, hundreds of thousands of Jordanians came to the streets in a demonstration entitled “America, the head of terrorism” and condemned this country’s participation in the crime of Gaza.
According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, “Aman”, the capital of Jordan, today (Friday, November 17) witnessed the unprecedented presence of hundreds of thousands of people in condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
According to Al-Mayadeen, a large-scale demonstration is being held in Amman under the title “America at the head of terrorism”; Some Arabic websites such as “Al-Haqiqah Al-Dawliyya” and “Roya Al-Akhbari” report about the “Million March” in Jordan.
The roaring crowd, including hundreds of Islamic and non-Islamic groups and associations, came to the streets at the invitation of the “Islamic Movement” and the “National Association for the Defense of Resistance” after Friday prayers and within the framework of the “AlAqsa storm” campaign and shouted with one voice that America It is the head of terrorism.

Hopefully we witness something similar on Sat./Sunday in European capitals

Are Israeli spies mad at Alastair Crooke again? If so, wonder what he said that set them off again. Anyhow,
I can only hope he is wrong, as relayed in the passages b quoted. If he is right, Israeli bosses are caught pretty much red-handed. Seems to me all they could do in that case is try to change the subject.

Thank you for the feedback Ahmed and the excellent reference – Michael Hudson of all people.
So my point and my conclusion is that those people need to get the hell out of their (please, really) – there will be no one coming to their rescue and the sharply worded memos only give them false hope. Live to fight another day.
Perhaps the UN might manage a pause for purpose of evacuation (probably not).

You are right they’ve been soled on a bill of goods as long as they serve their function. Thats why Sayed Hassan Nasrallah always tells them to go back to where they came from. Everyone can see this artificial colonial project cant survive for long.
Here’s another video that reiterates these points we are discussing. FYI I dont agree with everything this man says but at large I do believe he’s right about this situation:

1. Genocide is genocide, anyone is able to recognize it, no one has to invoke anything, or decree anything, or ratify anything.
2. It is a crime against humanity, there are no expiration dates, no limited jurisprudence, no specified or exclusive court.
3. Anyone is not only entirely free to act both to limit or stop genocide but nation states are expected to. Same for punishment for genocide.
4. The genocidal party can and will deny anything but this does not change points 1 through 3.
5. Nation states may well censure/punish groups or individuals who act on their own but this only highlights their own failings and/or culpability. Any nation state culpable of complicity has no moral standing in such questions to begin with.
6. Thus for some the only question left will be: do you sacrifice yourself for the sake of humanity or do you not?
If point 6 is answered in the affirmative by a significant number of people then the genocider —in this case Israel— stands no chance at all.
Yemen has already pointed this out.
“The resistance” already exists and acts.
Religion? Religion is not at all relevant to the question of genocide. There is no excuse for genocide, nether based on any religion or anything else.
So many seem to constantly aim at and spend considerable energy towards muddying the water when the situation is very simple and clear.

There cannot be a “chosen” people. You and your conscience are on your own.
Follow the science.
Your parents got together and had a good time, and the unique “you” was conceived. You are not a clone of your mother, and you are not a clone of your father. Someone or something created a “you“.
From the start you learn. There are good times and bad times, Opportunities taken and opportunities lost. Things you missed and things you didn’t miss and others that you wished you had missed. The good and the bad.
*
This is where “science” now comes in.
At the end, the real end, the last few seconds of your life, according to observed data (where they had someone in an IRM machine at the moment of death), your brain goes through a sudden and intense activity. All of it, in multiple zones of activity. (Not a linear “thought”, but as multiple neural computing zones spewing up “you” in it’s most basic form)
This activity can only be based on your memories. Is this the “ante chamber”, purgatory, a place of personal judgement?
****
Once you know what you are and what you have done, or not done, then you die.
****
It is a personal thing, not as part of a “chosen” group effort.
****
What happens next depends on what you believed in.
So now a bit of speculation;
ie. If you do not believe in anything you “get” nothing. (Although I think most people still have a residual respect for a religion)
“Jewish” people, go to the She’ol (Limbo) to wait for the Messiah (Rather like waiting for a bus that you have missed, hoping there will be another along sometime in the future, in the very, very far future)
Muslim men get 72 virgins, and as there must now be equality in the afterlife; the women get 72 virgin men. “Trans” get both 72 virgin women, AND 72 vigin men, who go off with each other and totally ignore the “trans”.
Christians sit on the clouds discussing the weather, or participating in the two animations, one) music lessons or two) debating on how many angels can sit on a pin (Answer; One, painfully).
In tribal religions you become an “ancestor” who comes back after a long time, as a newborn.
There are as many heavens as there are religions.
You will notice I am trying to be equally rude about all religions so as not to upset only one or two.
*
The real hell is the one of the rich man in the story of Lazarus, as mentioned by Juliana. Who wanted to “warn” others, not to do as he had done, or… or…. – Once dead you cannot change anything. Pure hell must be to know what God really is, and that you can never join in the purity of the light and love.

All the nations who voted in 1947 (8?) to create this mess should pony up funds and military to enforce what they created and give the Palestinians a fully protected State already.
Or, annul that Resolution and ask the Israelis to go back to where they came from.
There is no Authority in the mix and policies/resolutions without Authority should be made illegal and banned.
While you are at it, close down the UN which has failed from the get-go.
Religion? In this case it often comes to the fore when people are really upset, which happens when you are being forced out of your homes – or forcing others out – or being murdered en masse – or murdering others.

Is it simple and clear as to the threshold for nuclear weapon usage. It it simple and clear what the strategies of all states that actual oppose the empire is?
When different sides are making countermoves – say the defending party makes a counter move against the attacker, then the attacker makes a move to counter the defending sides counter move.
Only one thing is simple and clear. At the end of this, US/anglo empire ceases to exist and in its place will be the multi-polar world. The only thing that will prevent that is nuclear Armageddon.

Jewish History, Jewish Religion: The Weight of Three Thousand Years

Defense Mechanisms
What were the detailed mechanisms (other than bribery) employed by Jewish communities, in cooperation with outside forces, in order to ward off the attack on the Talmud and other religious literature? Several methods can be distinguished, all of them having important political consequences reflected in current Israeli policies. Although it would be tedious to supply in each case the Beginistic or Labour-zionist parallel, I am sure that readers who are somewhat familiar with the details of Middle East politics will themselves be able to notice the resemblance.
The first mechanism I shall discuss is that of sereptitious defiance, combined with outward compliance. As explained above, talmudic passages directed against Christianity or against non-Jews17 had to go or to be modified – the pressure was too strong. This is what was done: a few of the most offensive passages were bodily removed from all editions printed in Europe after the mid-16th century. In all other passages, the expressions ‘Gentile’, ‘non-Jew’, ‘stranger’ (goy, eino yehudi, nokhri) – which appear in all early manuscripts and printings as well as in all editions published in Islamic countries – were replaced by terms such as ‘idolator’, ‘heathen’ or even ‘Canaanite’ or ‘Samaritan’, terms which could be explained away but which a Jewish reader could recognize as euphemisms for the old expressions.
As the attack mounted, so the defence became more elaborate, sometimes with lasting tragic results. During certain periods the Tsarist Russian censorship became stricter and, seeing the above mentioned euphemisms for what they were, forbade them too. Thereupon the rabbinical authorities substituted the terms ‘Arab’ or ‘Muslim’ (in Hebrew, Yishma’eli – which means both) or occasionally ‘Egyptian’, correctly calculating that the Tsarist authorities would not object to this kind of abuse. At the same time, lists of Talmudic Omissions were circulated in manuscript form, which explained all the new terms and pointed out all the omissions. At times, a general disclaimer was printed before the title page of each volume of talmudic literature, solemnly declaring, sometimes on oath, that all hostile expressions in that volume are intended only against the idolators of antiquity, or even against the long-vanished Canaanites, rather than against ‘the peoples in whose land we live’. After the British conquest of India, some rabbis hit on the subterfuge of claiming that any particularly outrageous derogatory expression used by them is only intended against the Indians. Occasionally the aborigines of Australia were also added as whipping-boys.
Needless to say, all this was a calculated lie from beginning to end; and following the establishment of the State of Israel, once the rabbis felt secure, all the offensive passages and expressions were restored without hesitation in all new editions. (Because of the enormous cost which a new edition involves, a considerable part of the talmudic literature, including the Talmud itself, is still being reprinted from the old editions. For this reason, the above mentioned Talmudic Omissions have now been published in Israel in a cheap printed edition, under the title Hesronot Shas.) So now one can read quite freely – and Jewish children are actually taught – passages such as that18 which commands every Jew, whenever passing near a cemetery, to utter a blessing if the cemetery is Jewish, but to curse the mothers of the dead19 if it is non-Jewish. In the old editions the curse was omitted, or one of the euphemisms was substituted for ‘Gentiles’. But in the new Israeli edition of Rabbi Adin Steinsalz (complete with Hebrew explanations and glosses to the Aramaic parts of the text, so that schoolchildren should be in no doubt as to what they are supposed to say) the unambiguous words ‘Gentiles’ and ‘strangers’ have been restored.
Under external pressure, the rabbis deceptively eliminated or modified certain passages – but not the actual practices which are prescribed in them. It is a fact which must be remembered, not least by Jews themselves, that for centuries our totalitarian society has employed barbaric and inhumane customs to poison the minds of its members, and it is still doing so. (These inhumane customs cannot be explained away as mere reaction to antisemitism or persecution of Jews: they are gratuitous barbarities directed against each and every human being. A pious Jew arriving for the first time in Australia, say, and chancing to pass near an Aboriginal graveyard, must – as an act of worship of ‘God’ – curse the mothers of the dead buried there.) Without facing this real social fact, we all become parties to the deception and accomplices to the process of poisoning the present and future generations, with all the consequences of this process.

The US knows that it can’t compete with China in Asia and isn’t going to try.

Very wrong, US will deal with China like with all others, no difference. They’re not alone either, India, Japan and SK are local Ukr, waiting. China is a great manufacturer, but in all other aspects it’s weak, passive and purely mercantile. For the right price anything is for sale, including Taiwan. The only competition has always been Russia but they took the path of suicide since the 80s and today they are still doing that, controlled by abramoviches, supporters of Bibidera. Who has modern Russian tech like S400? Only nato+ gang. Who received cheapest resources? Nato gang, no one else. Today they’re selling to China only because EU isn’t allowed to get it anymore, not because Russia has stopped selling it. Fix NS and will be at full load next day.

To me this is just about the genocidal “regime change” mob running the borderless US today. Their #1 enemy is US taxpayers. Enslaving us to the weapons industry is their way of silencing us & preventing us from enjoying our own country. They bankrupt our towns and cities and ruin our public schools by flooding them with millions of unvetted, non-English speaking homeless people which we’re already told will include more Palestinians. US is only interested in selling weapons and creating misery. The group running the Israel war couldn’t care less about Israel or the Jewish religion. They do want to “regime change” Bibi out of the picture. Otherwise I always agree w. Mr. Crooke.

A question I don’t see being asked is where is Al Qaeda, and it’s offshoots? They are Sunni Muslims who coveted the support of Hamas in Syria whilst they pursued Jihad..or something or other, against the Syrian gov’t.
Are they too busy with their protection rackets in Idlib to bother with the plight of their Sunni brothers and sisters in Gaza?
Are they being harassed on social media for not coming to the aid of those who supported them? I don’t do social media so I don’t know.
Are they crying out to the World to allow them to send in the White Helmets to help save the women and children in Gaza? To show the world the atrocities like they said they did in Syria? Are they doing anything other than serving themselves and pleasuring Erdogan and his fantasies of the 2nd coming of the Ottomans?
Do they still think of themselves as Mujhadeen or is it just bidnez now?
They were willing to throw themselves at fellow Muslims so long as the dough kept rolling in. Much like the Ukrainian junta wot? Except of course no one in charge in Kiev is in Avdiivka. The Russian Front as Sgt. Schultz used to say on Hogan’s Heroes.
Maybe Hannibal Lecter and Side Show Bob from the Simpsons teamed up to take over the world.. Float that on X and facebook if you’re an evil leprechaun.
An $800 billion dollar per year ‘Defense’ budget’ can be the root cause of many things.
Meanwhile, I am at a loss to know where I should send my meager $100 bucks per mo to help? It’s like pissing on a Forrest fire.

When the Idlib crowd get a bit rowdy, Russian airforce mow the lawn. They come under the control of Turkey rather than the US.
ISIS on the other hand are still under US control and they have been reactivated some time ago in Syria. ISIS in sub Sahara have been constantly active, but with those states booting out the French and bring in Russia they are at least holding their own. I haven’t followed that area closely but there was a report from Mali I think, about a year or more back, that as soon as the booted out the French at brought in Russia, they started making gains against ISIS instead of losing ground to ISIS. Though from the bits and pieces I have read lately, ISIS numbers appear to be growing so I assume US is putting in a recruiting effort.

You sound like a newbie to this conflict. One who is unfamiliar with all the documented legal aspects of this conflict and work done by independent journalists on the ground over the decades. Have you ever looked at all the legal rulings, UN resolutions, documentation of war crimes by various groups, including Israeli?
Isn’t it so much easier to follow the Pied Piper based on blind faith as he plays the “Islamist” tune on his magic flute to distract from terms which make many uncomfortable: Eurosupremacist settler colonialism, apartheid, genocide, war crimes.
Well done, please follow him where he will take you to the depths of the inhumanity of Empire. Apart from his Islamist panicking, there is no new info in his articles which isn’t already available from the primary sources he takes it from.

A previous post re mind control is correct. And this is the way I see it.
The USA is the mind controlled product of a hundred plus years of Jewish mind control directed at a nominally Christian society.
We in the USA now have a near complete Zionist government under Biden. Zionist control of Universities/education and Finance is no less complete.
Consequentially, our politicians are directly threatened by the main stream media for any “wrong” move to constrain Jews/Zionists/Israel. They are indirectly threatened as well by the MSM’s ability to propagandize the voting public against any political effort to constrain these devious monsters who’s lying is just a tool.
This ever present mind control also winnows the political class down to mostly cowards that seek power rather than service to their nation. They dare not make a peep that does not please the Jew.
An example where there should be a chorus of not peeps, but shouts is the outright Federal Government fraud in plain sight – rules that Federal employees may not acknowledge an Israeli nuclear program. If that fact is acknowledged, then it becomes, by law, illegal to give even one penny to Israel given that no international inspections are permitted by Israel.
I think this is something to work on now. Pressure to enforce our own nuclear non-proliferation law riding the present humanitarian issues against Israel would do more in the long run than any other one thing and regain at least a scintilla of honor for my country.

” So, the call is heard for “Israel” to ‘take’ Lebanon up to the Litani (a key water source) — and ‘serendipitously’ the Israeli air force has begun operating up to 40 kms inside Lebanon.

The White house isnt struggling with anything as all these moves are planned years, if not decades, ahead of time. Hence why the US constructed a massive military compound ” embassy ” in Lebanon, They knew exactly what was coming. Things become alot clearer once one starts viewing developments from that angle.

Thanks for the reply Peter, but my main questions remain.
Where is Al Quada and do they still think of themselves as Mujhadeen while abandoning their allies in Gaza and the West Bank?
Erdogan is still seething over not receiving his pay cheque from Washington for back stabbing Assad.
So they gave him a bit of Washington’s newly formed Kurdland to shut him up, but it didn’t did it? He’s hungry for more and as far as Gaza is concerned, his prior schemes and rhetoric have amounted to little more than noise.
I note he’s such a great leader the Lira has gone from 5 to USD to 28 in just a few years. Then there’s the mind boggling inflation. But he’s a stone in the shoe in Libya, Cyprus, Syria and now Azerbaijan.
In the end I guess he did manage to punch the old Turk foe in Armenia in the face.
What a man, what a leader.

This is not a religious war and it is wrong to perceive and present it as such.
This is a colonial war for territory, exploitation and perpetuation of control. There are many interests involved, and they are not religious. Religion is being used and abused. There are too many examples in history, and in the contemporary world. We should know that by now.
Do not blame “the Jews” for this war. As people who know better point out –
for Jews in the humanist tradition, this is anathema — an insult to everything they believe in—and to the suffering of their forefathers. For them, the Zionists may be Jews, but not Jewish.

”jewish rabbi talks about the ideology of zionism”
Posted by: james | Nov 17 2023 17:35 utc | 60
Many, many thanks, james; what a wonderful man! I will also remark that b is in error when he names his post ‘one religion’s war’. That the nation of Israel is not and never was based on the Jewish religion is very clearly pointed out in Rabbi Shapiro’s argument here. How happy I am to have come to the same conclusion from only the contacts I have had with my genuine Jewish professor and also Martin Buber readings! That judaism begins and ends with Moses, while the zionist state takes its beginnings from Joshua while Moses himself doesn’t enter the land – how great that divide is and has become!
Also, someone above was using King Saul as an example of Jewish ideology- he is not! He tried to kill King David, the author of many of the Psalms! Don’t quote him as an example of ‘good’ Jewishness!
The history Rabbi Shapiro gives is fascinating, of Zionism taking many of its precepts from the Christian Zionists. I highly recomment that video, thank you again, James!

@B:
– Precisely. That were my thoughts as well.
– But the REAL problem in the Middle East is that the population has grown in the last say 50, 60 or 70 years. And keeps growing. To put it in a different way: the entire Middle East (and North Africa) is sitting on a dempgraphic time bomb.
