Basically, the thing is, RU took the dominant heights sufficient to effectively, or partially block Avdeevka, and they have consolidated holding on to the southern front, but they don’t have currently exposed lines that could be counter-attacked from multiple directions or cut-off. The only thing AFU Counter-attack managed to do was driving RU from the exposed side of the slag heap. But overall, this probably isn’t critical as they control the heights west of Krasnogorovka, which are far more important. AFU does not unilaterally control the slag heap height itself, either. What is the basis for this theme of hope for acceptance? Why is it so often repeated? They don’t want to be “european” or “western”. They want to be “universal”. Why Europeans and Westerners in general do not want to reinvent themselves, do not strive to overcome their provincialism is another and more curious question. Yes – maybe Federation is not the right word – but “CEF” does surely sound better than “CEC” – although that is of course the English term – but then again – given English effectively operates as the “lingua franca” of Europe using English to describe a close-knit grouping of Central European countries might nevertheless be the way to go – which solves the issue of which language five countries with their own national language. You’re spot on. 71 % of people in Ukraine believe USA and vassals should finance Ukraine indefinitely and without preconditions, because they are defending western values. It’s hard to believe the level of brainwashing, but here we are.
