Will Israel provide the western media diversion to remove the floundering Ukraine NATO fiasco from the election cycles of the USA and EU? Is this by design?

If this escalates into a major conflict, it’s bad news for Zelensky, IMO. The guy is gonna lose relevance, and American lawmakers will be under even more pressure to dial down support to Ukraine if they have to prop up Israel simultaneously.
At the same time, it would provide exactly the kind of diversion the US is looking for to divert attention from the failure of Project Ukraine.

If it indeed leads to less aid for “ukraine“, then i welcome the mess israel made for itself.
Unfortunately, i think the zionazi hasbarats will escalate with atrocities, all while our oh so impartial western media ignore everything that would go against the narrative. Just like they did in ukraine.
Those genocidedal pieces of shit know only escalation.

A valuable brief update. Looks like a colossal amount of work. In among it all there may possibly be a photo out of place. I’m not sure about the photo of the missile strike on 1st October. It looks like the damage done by another strike.

I’ve checked out the photo which came from Boris Rozhin’s (Colonel Cassad) Telegram channel. I am relying on google translate because it’s in Russian but it appears to refer to a strike that took place on October 1st. But he and I could be wrong. Yes – the Update takes a long time to do – more than 30 hours a week. But I enjoy doing it.

the empire flails about as challenges to hegemony pop up worldwide. it has grown used to controlling the number of conflicts and managing them individually, along with whatever narratives are used to pacify the populace. that’s not possible anymore.

As usual, our insight is confirmed. We warned back in the summer that the Russian Armed Forces would begin to strike the Odessa region with FAB/KAB bombs. Mainly from the Serpentine side. We argued that by disrupting the grain deal, Zelensky “exposed” Odessa to blows.
We remember then the propagandists of the Office of the President laughed and said that this was a scare of “Kremlin agents”, supposedly strikes by KAB/FAB were impossible.
Now it’s October, and Ukrainian military public pages are writing about the Russians launching guided aerial bombs (CABs) in Vilkovo, Odessa region, at the mouth of the Danube.
Before this, the Russian Armed Forces constantly attacked the island for more than a month. Snake, including KABs.
If the Russians actually have the opportunity to carry out strikes with KABs on the coast of the Odessa region on a permanent basis, then we can state:
A) destruction of almost all “long-range” air defense in the south of the region
B) shortage of ammunition and air defense systems
B) destruction of airfields and runways
D) the destruction of the “birds” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which created a shortage of aviation
D) destruction of radar stations (although NATO scout birds are always hanging around in those parts).
This will lead to the fact that military facilities in the Odessa region will simply become extremely vulnerable. In the future, this could become a big problem, since the Russian Armed Forces will be able to easily land air/naval troops in the south of the region.
We are watching…

The situation in the Israeli case is complex – this is very bad news for the Office of the President. Hamas is beginning to assemble a real coalition of participants in the game in the Middle East.
Hezbollah is already “gently” drawing attention and striking Israeli military targets, but so far without actively invading Jewish territory. The Taliban came out with a desire to “declare war” on Israel.
In addition, other Arab groups are still publicly expressing a desire to join the game (perhaps there is simply bargaining), or perhaps they are already sending “mercenaries.”
Just yesterday we wrote that arms supplies to Ukraine may stop or slow down even more. We think everyone understands that for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the OP this will be a collapse, or a freezing of the conflict.
When describing the options for the Israeli case yesterday, we pointed out the most important risk – the involvement of other players in the military conflict.
The biggest problem for the Office of the President is the rumors that Hamas had weapons that they bought from Ukraine. If this is confirmed, then ZeErmak will be screwed, and our information that Kyiv was selling weapons on the black market will, as usual, be confirmed.

There are hundreds of cases of beatings of mobilized employees of the TCC, and people’s deputies do not even pay attention to this problem.
These pigs from the military registration and enlistment offices act worse than the enemies, how can you discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine like that?
Ukrainians have become worse than serfs, they can be beaten/maimed, sent to the front without preparation.

https://t.me/rezident_ua/20021

We again appeal to the deputies, do you really think that Ukrainians will forget your cowardly silence on unlimited mobilization? Where is the temporary investigative commission that you promised to create back in January?
We will remind all citizens that you should not sign anything under pressure, the Constitution and the law are on your side!
It is prohibited to beat, hold or take to the TCC: the speaker of the Poltava Regional TCC told what military commissars should not do in relation to people who refuse to accept the summons
Forbidden:
▪️use force against someone who refuses to sign the summons: restrain him, beat him;
▪️ detain a person and deliver him against his will to the police station or to the TCC in case of refusal of the summons or after its delivery;
▪️ take documents, phone from a person, enter his private territory without police or grounds, stop public transport and other means of transportation.

https://t.me/rezident_ua/20025

This is democracy and freedom from Zelensky.
If in February-March 2022, all Ukrainians had been shown these images from the future, told about corruption and theft in the government, about the chaos in the country, then no one would have gone to fight for such a “new fair” Ukraine from ZeErmak.
It turns out that the Ukrainians were brutally misled and abandoned by the authorities in this regard as well.
This is not the first case of lawlessness among military commissars; we wrote that Ukrainians are beaten and intimidated in almost all military registration and enlistment offices (TCC). The previous time, the military commissars who beat people were “excused”; this gave rise to increased lawlessness in the TCC, who know that the system will excuse them.
The anti-mobilization rating among the population is already somewhere around 95-97%. All our sources indicate that this is Zelensky’s Achilles heel, because of which his political career will collapse, and opponents will now try to use this case as an “information torpedo.”
It is worth adding that every military commissar who commits lawlessness will be responsible, we have been informed about this. The OP will try to make these fools military commissars “scapegoats” in order to save their own skins.

Christoforou speculated yesterday that Israel may have sent a stock of weapons/munitions to Ukraine under pressure from the US, which has been scrounging the world for more munitions for Ukraine. This could lead to shortages for the Israeli armed forces. I don’t remember all the arms deals that the US has made to get weapons to Ukraine, but this sounds plausible. That would be a double whammy – black market Ukraine weapons to Hamas while Israel runs short because its own stock was diverted to Ukraine.

So, now what? Ukraine will soon be dead and US opened itself another front.
Btw, Zirinovsky predicted a few years ago that Ukraine will have its final elections and next year no one will remember Ukraine as a war begins in the Middle East. Maestro.

It’s possible that hamas action is, at least partially, staged to offer us an easy win and a way out from the Ukraine mess.
Depending on if someone step in and who, this Israeli thing may be another giant failure for collective west.

Kit Klarenburg of Grayzone reports on a Maidan-style plot in Tbilisi. CANVAS, a CIA asset, have been summoned by the Georgian authorities to explain their activities – which Georgia must surely be aware of: régime change.
America is getting desperate and trying to open a southern front against Russia.
Choosing the Caucasus to do that indicates the NeoCons in Washington have no understanding of geography – but what´s new?

Sounds like Israel is already asking for large infusions of weapons and munitions. That’s bad for Kiev. It’s also bad for Kiev that its sponsors are not serious or intelligent people. The Biden gang is not going to be capable of managing by two hot conflicts at the same time. And the American public and politicians are deeply conditioned to support Israel. It’s looking like a long, hard winter for Kiev.

Who would have thought that Hamas would troll the Ukraine thread?
The screeching caravan has probably moved on for the moment.
This is not favorable for the Ukrainians “led” by Zelensky. The sponsors are already having their own problems with finances and providing armaments.
Now there may be an opportunity to refocus the West’s artificial media interest in the fate of the Ukrainians.
Ukraine is losing its current victim monopoly in the West, which was previously dominated by Israel’s interests. It is easier to withdraw from a conflict without interest without losing face.

That’s why I never bought the idea that Russia was actually serious about their peace proposals since February ’22: the Russians are fully aware that they must defeat the U.S. in the Ukraine, financially breaking their back in the Ukrainian quagmire, otherwise history will repeat itself in some other place, like Belarus, Georgia, Tajikistan. The only sensible choice in February 2022 was a war of attrition in the best possible scenario for Russia, that is the Ukraine.

$70 Trillion Hole in Bond Market. The value of those U.S./European Bonds you bought have taken a Haircut that bloodies your scalp. Trial Balloons being floated everywhere that the U.S. Federal Reserve is going to have to step in and purchase U.S. Government Bonds, as othr buyers have their pockets inside out. Inflation or Government Collapse?
And as the Whistlers-past-the-Graveyard like to suggest, that $1million U.S. Government Bond you bought, that the current Market will pay $617,000 for, can always be held to term, say 28 more years, when the U.S. Government may give you your $1million back. So long as you can live 28 more years, that you don’t have urgent, immediate needs for cash, and that you trust the U.S. Government.
Saudi/Israel footsie, just got toes crunched. Inmates fully in charge of the asylum, Biden in his best form ever, “Huh…mmm…hey, did I tell you I was a truck driver when I taught in College…when I was 6 years old…”

The intensity of fighting should reduce on the front, which will lead to stockpiles and forces building up more for Russia due to its huge production advantage in all categories compared to combined Nato. While Ukraine only gets small trickles of stuff then and there.
Russia also will get the initiative, the Ukraine’s attacks already practically have ceased in Verbove-Rabotyne, Urozhaine (Vremievka) areas. They may still try to do something in Kleschevka, but it seems a stalemate.
Alexander Mercouris report speculated that the main focus is actually now in Kupyansk where Ukraine is redeploying more stuff, and Russia intends to reduce AFU forces there, probably utilizing the Oskil river, maybe surrounding AFU from both ends.
AFU is also in no position to launch any invasions across Dnieper river.
I don’t expect US will stop funding Ukraine or giving arms to Ukraine. But all their original plans for the counter-offensive failed and seems there isn’t any sort of expectations any more, why would they put too much effort. Even maintaining status quo of the current front is a monumental task compared to US capabilities.

But all their original plans for the counter-offensive failed and seems there isn’t any sort of expectations any more, why would they put too much effort. Even maintaining status quo of the current front is a monumental task compared to US capabilities.

Lex @ 19

The Biden gang is not going to be capable of managing by two hot conflicts at the same time.

Three? China hasn’t stirred the pot yet, they are playing the good cop in the west’s prisoner’s dilemma, for now, who knows they may never bat unless Taiwan declares independence. IMO Iran has just stepped up to the plate take some heat off Russia, maybe DPRK is next to bat?
Maybe the new Middle East crisis puts the opening Caucasus front on hold? If you are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia you might want to postpone the Orange Chaos, there’s a serious chance you could find yourself pants around your ankles holding your dick in your hand, looking very stupid.

Thank you for your service, sighed the Price Cap Coalition.

I tried to point out that there really is no government censorship as commonly defined — that the government neither really coerces nor threatens private citizens or businesses.

US preparing to officially designate military takeover in Niger as a coup d’etat after months of delay, officials say

The US embassy can continue to operate and the US military will be able to legally keep forces in Niger if a coup designation is made, US officials said.

Force posture“—not to be construed as coercion—CRISIS averted. What a relief for the “sixth region of the African Union“!

The Secretary of Stalking, Antony Blinken, could issue a waiver to reinstate the military aid once a coup is determined, but only if he decides that it is in the national security interest of the United States and consults with Congress first, according to the Congressional Research Service. Congress for the first-time last year incorporated the waiver into its 2023 omnibus spending bill.

“Ukraine” is so last year!
The bar has moved to “Palestine Open Thread 2023-234”. “Ukraine” no longer interests anyone.
ERing46Z @ 1 asks:

Will Israel provide the western media diversion to remove the floundering Ukraine NATO fiasco from the election cycles of the USA and EU? Is this by design?

Most likely, yes.
@GeromanAT on Twitter writes:

As I told you last week – RF activated on many sectors all along the whole front line.
The main purpose is now to force AFU to send reserves on almost EVERY sector AT ONCE.
It will also force them to hurry up supplies – which will make them more detectable – and will so lead to more taken out HQs and ammo dumps.
This will now go on until whole sectors will break down.
So for all who are still asking “When will RF make its move” – that happened at the beginning of last week.
You were just too stupid to read that between the lines of all reports.

The tweet is accompanied by a @Rybar map, that shows small Russian attacks all along the front line. The diversion in Palestine allows Russia to launch an attack, without provoking a response from the West.
@jeffdonn5 responds to @GeromanAT

America cannot simultaneously back Ukraine and Israel with weapons and money. A choice is going to be made in Washington. America has the largest and wealthiest Jewish population in the world, so Israel will be getting help. Ukraine is on its own.

Oh sure they (America) can. Yes, the media can seemingly only focus on one topic at a time, but the US government can certainly handle multiple issues simultaneously. It’s a huge organization. It’s not limited by Biden’s personal capacity! If anything, if the media chooses to focus on Israel at the expense of Ukraine coverage, it probably makes it politically easier for the US government to continue to shovel money and weapons at Ukraine (cue the conspiracy theories!)
Hamas is not an artillery heavy, mechanized foe such as the Russian army. I don’t think the conflicts are going to conflict with each other in terms of weapons being supplied by the US. Israel isn’t going to find itself locked into an artillery war with Hamas the way Ukraine is with Russia.

Where have all the barfleas gone?
What a hoot! This certainly gives credence to the argument that many don’t have more than a short attention span that is easily distracted by a new shiny thing.
Since Z claims jewishness I expect him to try and tie Ukraine to the Occupied Palestine situation but question the potential for success with it.
The shit show continues until it doesn’t and at the pace we are going we just might come to a seminal moment soon.

Now that Israel is going to be demanding all the West’s available weapons, Russia should really up the ante there in Ukraine. Furthermore, since it was the West which was supplying weapons for the Ukrainians to kill Russians, Russia should now supply the Muslims in the Middle East with weapons to kill Westerners. The Americans are rushing fleets to the Middle East as we speak, so the Muslims could definitely do with anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles with which to kill Westerners. All Russia needs to do is to supply the weapons, probably via the Caspian sea Iran Iraq Syria route, no Russians need to get killed fighting in the Middle East.
Russia’s advantage lies with weaponry and military force, while the West’s advantage lies with the mainstream and social media, plus with financial matters. Russia must use its advantage in its fight with the West and supply the Muslims with weaponry. After all, Russia’s factories are now coming into full production and then some so some of the output can be sent to the Muslims.

Agree with Mike31 @31:
America can easily handle and supply both – if it wants to.
But my impression is that Washington is trying to detach itself from Ukraine, to dump it onto Europeans (something I’ve expected from day 1 of Russia’s SMO). There’s nothing to be won, strategically, and it’s definitely a no-winner for the elections.
So, Israel/Palestine is a welcome new crisis to eclipse the old crisis.
As this thread shows, it works quite well, even with barflies.

Borzikman’s video sheds some light why AFU still continues to attack at all costs. Apparently, Kiev regime thought the west will be able to convince Russia to freeze the conflict, and they want to take as much as possible before the assumed freezing occurs.
But if a freeze doesn’t occur, they won’t be able to defend flanks and gaps will be larger and Russia will eventually regain these areas gained by the summer offensive and most likely more.
He also mentions about conflicts between AFU and Polish mercenaries. Apparently a group of Polish mercenaries were sent to attack Kopani and it got hit by a TOS system. So AFU is using mercs in more daring missions. Recall that this was close to impossible last year as foreigner lives were valued and expensive, but now almost a standard.

Ukraine uses its trains almost entirely for military purposes. Russia must target Ukie train network. Railway tracks and bridges must be rendered useless. Drones should monitor moving trains and destroy them.
Capturing the fabulous Soviet era train network of Ukrainazistan is not feasible. Render it useless. Otherwise Ukies and NATOES will make use of it for their twisted ends.
The most vulnerable Ukie logistics node is its train tracks.

I don’t like it. It’s quiet – too quiet.
In the end what’s happening in Palestine is not our main focus, unless the US is determined to attack Russia, China, Iran and Syria all at the same time, which would not be unthinkable for them. Wondering if Russia shouldn’t be giving shelter and facilities to the top Iranian scientists and engineers.

How’s this for a theory?
The Israeli leadership have decided its time to repopulate Khazaria, so they allowed Hamas to “invade” (actually more like a jailbreak) and kill lots of Israeli kids.
Zelenskyy – he’s all heart, remember – offers to take in “the endangered” Israelis; a (depopulated) land without a people, for a people without a land!
Remember: You read it hear first, fellow barflies.

Thanking Hamas for removing the noise from this thread. My guess is that we can predict that outcome, it will be a return to the status quo ante, after much money, blood and weapons spent. The Ukie black market likely supplied Hamas with US weapons. Biden emptied out the Israeli spare ammo supply by sending it to Ukraine.
The Ukies might slowly fold while getting off the front page. I don’t see much money nor ordnance heading in that direction and the Russians, slowly, deliberately staged it correctly, grinding the bastards down.
It is getting to the point where in aa few more months we could speculate about who might be replacing Z. Odessa looks like it is slowly being defanged of defense capability. That would then become a most dramatic turning point. Looking at the map based on data from Southfront, there still a lot of territory to be fought over.

This will lead to the fact that military facilities in the Odessa region will simply become extremely vulnerable. In the future, this could become a big problem, since the Russian Armed Forces will be able to easily land air/naval troops in the south of the region.

Landing troops in the South will not be on the scale of D_Day in Normandy. Any Russian effort is likely to be insufficient. A land based support bridge will need to reach down to Odessa. It looks that this will take some time, less when the Ukie military collapses. Although that has started, there is a long way to go.

I don’t like how Russian Telegram is focusing so much on Israel on now and neglecting Ukraine reporting. The Hamas-Israel situation looks like a false flag to me.
Unlike Hezbollah, Hamas never fought ISIS. Israel also helped ISIS and gave medical care to the injured ISIS and other militants fighting in Syria. Israel bombed Syrian forces fighting ISIS, while Hamas didn’t help in Syria at all.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if this trial balloon is floated anywhere in MSM.
Would seem to imply admittance of depopulation of Ukraine.
Pre-1967 Israel (two state solution) is not defendable (particularly without Golan heights) and small. Relatively, Ukraine and Russia have lots of land. Maybe, this would align with Russia’s goal of de-Nazification?

At the same time, it would provide exactly the kind of diversion the US is looking for to divert attention from the failure of Project Ukraine.
