Moon of Alabama Brecht quote

Two Middle East Outlooks

Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor and dimwit, had written a laudation of his own and his bosses foreign policy for the November print edition of Foreign Affairs. The piece was finalized before the war in Palestine had begun.

The Sources of American Power
A Foreign Policy for a Changed World

Excerpts:

Indeed, although the Middle East remains beset with perennial challenges, the region is quieter than it has been for decades.

The progress is fragile, to be sure. But it is also not an accident.

[The president's] approach returns discipline to U.S. policy. It emphasizes deterring aggression, de-escalating conflicts, and integrating the region through joint infrastructure projects and new partnerships, including between Israel and its Arab neighbors. And it is bearing fruit.

This disciplined approach frees up resources for other global priorities, reduces the risk of new Middle Eastern conflicts, and ensures that U.S. interests are protected on a far more sustainable basis. Challenges remain. The Israeli-Palestinian situation is tense, particularly in the West Bank, but in the face of serious frictions, we have de-escalated crises in Gaza and restored direct diplomacy between the parties after years of its absence.

Alastair Crooke, who has personally negotiated prisoner exchanges between Hamas and Israel, has published a rather bleak outlook.

Escalations Cannot Be Stopped – The White House Is Rattled; Escalations Might All Fuse Into ‘One’
The reality of the necessity of war is permeating widely the consciousness of the Arabic and Islamic world.

It is no coincidence that Netanyahu flourished a map of Israel during his General Assembly address last month in which Israel dominated from the River to the Sea – and Palestine (indeed any Palestinian territory) was non-existent.

Tom Friedman in his NYT reflections may fear that just as NATO’s impaired performance in Ukraine has ruptured ‘the NATO myth’, so too the 7 October Israeli military and intelligence collapse and what happens in its wake in Gaza ‘might explode the entire pro-American alliance structure’ in the Middle East.

The confluence of two such humiliations might break the spine of western primacy. This seems to be the gist to Friedman’s analysis. (He likely is correct).

Hamas has succeeded in smashing the Israel deterrence paradigm: They were not afraid, the IDF proved far from invincible, and the Arab street mobilised as never before (confounding western cynics who laugh at the very notion of there being an ‘Arab Street’).

Well, that is where we are – and the White House is rattled.

This is what worries the White House Team. They are deeply unconfident that an Israeli invasion of Gaza will put ‘Humpty’ together again. Rather, they fear that events may go badly for the IDF, and further, that the images relayed across the Middle East of Israel using overwhelming force in a civilian urban setting will revolt the Islamic sphere.

In spite of western scepticism, there are signs that this insurrection in the Arab sphere is different, and resembles more the 1916 Arab Revolt that overthrew the Ottoman Empire. It is taking on a distinct ‘edge’ as both Shi’a and Sunni religious authorities state the duty of Muslims to stand with Palestinians. In other words, as the Israeli polity becomes plainly ‘Prophetical’, so the Islamic mood is turning eschatological, in its turn.

That the White House should be floating kites about ‘moderate’ Arab leaders pressing ‘moderate’ Palestinians to form an Israeli-friendly government in Gaza that would displace Hamas and impose security and order shows just how severed is the West from reality. Recall that Mahmoud Abbas, General Sisi and the King of Jordan (some of the region’s most pliable leaders) pointedly refused even to meet with Biden after the latter’s Israel trip.

The anger across the region is real and threatens ‘moderate’ Arab leaders, whose room for manoeuvre is now circumscribed.

So hotspots are proliferating, as are attacks on U.S. deployments around the region. Some in Washington claim to perceive an Iranian hand, and are hoping to expand a window for war with Iran.

Should Israel enter Gaza (and Israel may decide it has no choice but to launch a ground operation, given the domestic political dynamics and public sentiment), it is likely that Hizbullah will incrementally be drawn further in, leaving the U.S. with the binary option of seeing Israel defeated, or launching a major war in which all the hotspots become fused ‘as one’.

In a sense, the Israeli-Islamic conflict now may only be resolved in this kinetic way. All efforts since 1947 have seen the divide only deepen. The reality of the necessity of war is permeating widely the consciousness of the Arabic and Islamic world.

What I am looking at certainly encompasses what you have be saying. Perhaps the easiest way to describe what you are seeing and what I am seeing is there has been no socialist revolution in the so called west. Private finance is western financial/economic model and is owned by that elite class I write of.
The Pope ect – in a comment a couple of days ago I looked at The Church of Rome (Europe/the west) vs the church of Constantinople (Russian/ Keivan Rus orthodox)
The Westphalia Kissinger speaks of – the treaty of Westphalia within the holy roman empire makes the split stark. What is termed the west is the Holy Roman Empire including the protestants even though they split from Rome. The Zionist state is a new kid on the block, part from evangelical protestands, mainly as a wedge into the Arab world but in terms of the Church of Rome,a wedge into the holy land/city which harks back to the crusades.
I guess a summary would be the elite of the Westphalian world who control countries, finance and wealth.
The shearers strike in Bacaldine, Queensland Australia. There was a very clear line between the shearers and the men of capital that owned the vast sheep runs. Vastly different to todays university left in politics who themselves are often part of the Westphalian elite.

Memory hole Episode 120,000?
This morning on Oz Fake News radio it was announced that HAMAS has claimed that an “Israeli” airstrike in Gaza has killed circa 50 of HAMAS’ “Israeli” hostages.
And not a word about this event from ANY OTHER SOURCE since then.

You’ve been reading too much Science Fiction (and I say that as someone who reads a lot of SF). We don’t even know yet what mix of microbes, lichens, bacteria etc is necessary for a viable biosphere, (and the way we’re going we may never do) but that is the very minimum needed for hopping off to another planet. The there is the speed of light . . . And we don’t know how to freeze living people then successfully revive them. Then there is the moral question – if we fuck up our own planet, do we have the right to go and fuck up another one? I don’t think so. We have to evolve into a species that can exist without war, first. How’s that going?

The Cradle published Pepe Escobar’s latest, Iran-Russia set a western trap in Palestine….

The Chinese Navy is for all practical purposes shielding Iran from a distance. Yet even more forceful has been a statement by Premier Li Qiang – something unusually blunt and rare in Chinese diplomacy:
“China will continue to firmly support Iran in safeguarding its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national dignity, and will strongly oppose any external forces interfering in Iran’s internal affairs.”
Never forget that China and Iran are linked by a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Apparently Li Qiang is now dead of a heart attack.

As I’ve said before, has anyone considered that the neocons and Israel fully realise the loss of US hegemony (From the foolish overreach in Ukraine that was always going to both fail to destroy Russia and “wake the sleeping giant” Pearl Harbour style of China) and it’s continuing decline and have decided to use the situation to have the US slip in for one final hegemonic war for Israel against Syria and Iran since it’s now or never. This is a powerful motivating factor. That they get to trigger this war (And thus be the victim of “aggression” from Syria and Iran) by ethnically cleansing Gaza is just a nice twofer.
The thing to understand about the neocons and Israel, their whole strategy is always to just keep going, to have more gall, more chutzpah than others and never back down. That’s how they got into the mess in Ukraine. The Biden admin is the most neocon-infested of all time. They have infested this admin, barged their way in at all levels because Trump’s opposition to wars for Israel freaked them out so much, they’re in a panic. And as the old adage goes “We have to do something! This is something, we have to do this!” and the “this” for the neocons is always more aggression, more pressure. We’ve seen that Biden is clearly being fed lines by the neocons around him, now absurdly questioning the casualty figures from the Gaza health ministry. The US has been pretending to be wanting not to start a war with Iran and Syria but their actions have been at every level diplomatically to just engage in stalling tactics in order to buy time to move more US assets, particularly navy ships into position to prepare. The US could stop the Israelis doing the ground invasion, that they don’t means they approve and expect it. Their diplomacy is always a stalling tactic to deceive their opponents and buy time. (And perhaps boil the frog slowly in the US and everywhere)

As a fellow Sci-Fi fan, I never got into Utopian thinking, and preferred the darkness of conspiracy and political intrigue subplots.
Our right is survival. We’ll never be a species without conflict. From prosperity to status, to reproduction, conflict, and competition are necessary. Yes, we could evolve into something else, but it won’t look like anything you would recognize as human. Perhaps more like potted plants.

I believe a fundamental error (which I have done many times myself) is to assume the people we’re talking about are like us. That they share our thinking, morals, desires, etc.
Thought experiment
We’re dealing with a subspecies of humans that have lived underground for millennia. They have just surfaced with different everything cognitively and emotionally. A different history, religion, norms, intelligence.
Now try to formulate a plan for what their actions mean in a larger context.
I don’t know that anything the neocons do approaches what any regular person would consider rational, sensible, or practical. They are practically alien.

Not sure if this was an accidental misread, but it was Li Keqiang, who was the second favorite to the lead the party behind Xi Jinping, and not the Li Qiang who is the current Premier.
Would have been better to have been the latter though.

Not true. When Columbus first reached the Caribbean he came across islands where the inhabitants were uniquely peaceful and generous, both to each other and the Europeans. That’s how their societies had evolved. To think this is not possible is to condemn us to be brutal, savage animals for eternity. But if this were to be the case, I’d be out buying myself a flower pot tomorrow. At least it might be decorative.

Ok, ok, I get it! Stop pushing back on Metaphysics, and don’t challenge the Metaphysical stuff when others push it themselves. Those who have read some of my background stuff know there is a history. I was not trying to be rude to Juliana: Juliana I do apologize; and I am sure you are a wonderful person with a lot to offer here at MoA.
I have been a non-theist for many years and have studied it on a philosophical level. It has become second nature for me challenge theism (not religion so much, because I think that the need for religion is a part of Human Nature), but the concept of a God could actually exist; and if it did exist, is it worthy of worship? In the future I will restrain my second nature to the best of my abilities: Mea Culpa….

Tangentially on topic is this report, “Biden Caught Using New Cheat Sheet Featuring Photos of Friendly Reporters to Call On”:

The president’s habit of relying on custom-tailored notecard-based reminders helping him put a face to a name or even perform a basic political engagement has ramped up concerns over his mental state, with polls showing that a growing number of Americans are becoming concerned over his ability to serve.
The days of White House reporters engaging in actual journalism by asking the president tough, unexpected questions appear to be a thing of the past, with Joe Biden spotted with a cheat sheet featuring the names and photos of reporters to call upon.
The naughty notecard, [Picture at link] spotted by eagle-eyed internet users who watched Biden’s Wednesday press conference at the White House alongside Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, appears to show four names and photos Biden was meant to tap for questions.
Biden dutifully followed through, with all four names in the list, including White House correspondent Joey Garrison, PBS’s Laura Barron-Lopez, The Australian reporter Jeff Chambers and Australian Channel 10 politics editor Ashleigh Raper getting called upon to ask their questions, with the rest resigned to the role of glorified stenographers.

Name/facial recognition is one of the first parts of Alzheimer’s onset as is spatial disorientation and physiological balance, which are also signs we’ve witnessed. (I know well all that having personally cared for an Alzheimer’s patient full term.)

One of the online Chinese language site I often visit, Guancha.cn, has the headline: “For fear of failure, Natanyahu refused to sign order for ground incursion of Gaza”. Article is in Chinese; I am merely paraphrasing the English translation:
https://www.guancha.cn/
This is in contrast with Alistair Crooke’s take of Israeli’s mentality that:

This is the most important point — ‘our deterrence’”, the senior war Cabinet source said. “The region must quickly understand that whoever harms Israel the way Hamas did, pays a disproportionate price. There is no other way to survive in our neighbourhood than to exact this price now, because many eyes are fixed on us and most of them do not have our best interests at heart”.

In a way, this kind of explain the present Israeli tactic of indiscriminant bombing in Gaza, killing hospital patients and school children. The objective being instilling the notion of Palistinian having to pay disproportionate prices for resistance to Zionist oppressions, Natanyahu prefers the price-free method of slaughter than risking a potential failure of ground assault. It is consistent with my understanding of Jewish mentality.
How is RoW going to respond to this reality? Is RoW still in fear of predominant Americano brute power standing behind Zionism and do nothing more than lip services? I believe sooner or later the world will have to stand up to blatant American hubris and bully. I also believe, in terms of brute force power, USA/NATO is now only no better than #2 in the world. It’s time to call their bluff. Supply explosives/weapons/war resources/precision intel/etc. etc. to Hamas/Hezbollah/Syria/Iran. Let’s demonstrate that Bethleham/Tel Avi can look just like Gaza in a matter of days.
When Stone-Age weaponry is deployed, let the Lucifer-bred Zionists and Anglos see that there are as much such weaponry on the other side as they do in their warehouses. Let it be understood that, from now on, it is Multipolarity or Stone-Age.

The best site for the Palestine position is the Electronic Intifada. Their new Pod Cast is incredible:
The Electronic Intifada Podcast
https://electronicintifada.net/blog/electronic-intifada-podcast
Ali Abunimah quotes from his book ‘One Country’ published in 2006
An article interview with Arnon Soffer, an Israeli demographer, Jerusalem Post in May of 2004, he was advisor to Ariel Sharon who implemented the “Israeli Disengagement from Gaza” in 2005. A policy of a Gaza with no Israeli Settlers in it, but sealed from the outside, surrounded and totally under Israel’s control. Soffer explained the logic of Sharon’s plan unilateral separation doesn’t guarantee peace it guarantees a Jewish Zionist state with an overwhelming majority of Jews. The article can be found on the Web.
LINK: https://www.larevuedesressources.org/IMG/pdf/One_on_One.pdf
Some QUOTES: How will the region look the day after unilateral separation?
The Palestinians will bombard us with artillery fire – and we will have to retaliate. But at least the war will be at the fence – not in kindergartens in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Will Israel be prepared to fight this war?
First of all, the fence is not built like the Berlin Wall. It’s a fence that we will be guarding on either side. Instead of entering Gaza, the way we did last week, we will tell the Palestinians that if a single missile is fired over the fence, we will fire 10 in response. And women and children will be killed, and houses will be destroyed. After the fifth such incident, Palestinian mothers won’t allow their husbands to shoot Kassams, because they will know what’s waiting for them.
Second of all, when 2.5 million people live in a closed-off Gaza, it’s going to be a human catastrophe. Those people will become even bigger animals than they are today, with the aid of an insane fundamentalist Islam. The pressure at the border will be awful. It’s going to be a terrible war. So, if we want to remain alive, we will have to kill and kill and kill. All day, every day.
What will the end result of all this killing be?
The Palestinians will be forced to realize that demography is no longer significant, because we’re here and they’re there. And then they will begin to ask for “conflict management” talks – not that dirty word “peace.” Peace is a word for believers, and I have no tolerance for believers – neither those who wear yarmulkes nor those who pray to the God of peace. There are those who make pilgrimages to the Baba Sali and the tombs in Hebron, and those who make pilgrimages to Kikar Rabin in Tel Aviv. Both are dangerous.
Unilateral separation doesn’t guarantee “peace” – it guarantees a Zionist-Jewish state with an overwhelming majority of Jews; it guarantees the kind of safety that will return tourists to the country; and it guarantees one other important thing. Between 1948 and 1967, the fence was a fence, and 400,000 people left the West Bank voluntarily. This is what will happen after separation. If a Palestinian cannot come into Tel Aviv for work, he will look in Iraq, or Kuwait, or London. I believe there will be movement out of the area.
Some say that the aftermath of a post-separation war will be occupation all over again.
We won’t occupy them again. We will enter on punishment missions. As I’ve said, the minute a missile flies, we will destroy the area.

In the meantime the French PM and president are saying that all lives are equal. We are not obliged to believe what they say. Obviously some lives have more values than others. I guess that being member of an “elected tribe” gives more value than being member of a concentration strip of land.
To cut water, food, electricity inside a closed camp is not a war crime, it is a crime against humanity.

Those who expect the Muslim World to do nothing have forgotten one thing.
Muslims believe that death in battle is not the end, but a new and glorious beginning.
America and its allies believe mostly that death is the end of everything, the exception is those in the West who secretly fear that on their death, Satan will have his due. Do you doubt that the Soros and Clinton fear death?
Who would you put your money on ?
Think Chechens in battle and the Muslim populations in the West who will avenge any slaughter of their co-religionists.
Peaceful co-existence is the only option that will save the human race.

Factional rifts in the US powerstructure.
Although there must be several “factions” who are now competing with each other for a bigger slice of the pie in the US, I am reminded that WWI was (said to be… opinion) the brainchild (ie. a real bastard of an idea) of simply two influential/Military people who carefully planned for it, singlemindedly followed their plan, finally organising series of others to continue the idea after them. One from the Russians who wanted the Bosphorus, and the other from the French who wanted Alsace as principal aims.
The actual war was different and had different results than “expected”, and I can’t really say who the original two people were. However, the key is that it only takes two to start a process that can embroil an entire world.
***
In other words, I agree that it is unlikely if not impossible for one small group to control all the variants we now see. But that it only took a very small group to start the ball rolling.
It is probably too late to stop the wheels of war that are now in motion.
**
Putin must have seen this happening as a form of clairvoyance. Which is one reason that he is not “jumping in”, but rather is trying create a credible position as a neutral and trusted intermediary for all sides.
Taking his example, the only solution will be negotiations, sooner or later, – despite how much violence, senselessness and blood is spilled before everyone agrees that these are necessary.
**
One personal idea is that after hate wears itself out, the only solution will be one of love.

The current and ongoing attack on Gaza is mostly from the air, with some Merkova support – the goal may not be “softening up” Hamas for a ground incursion but to raise the death toll, and the level of provocation of the attacks to entrap Hezbollah or other actors into taking overt action. Given that Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran reps recently met in Moscow to Israel’s rage – any and all responses to Israeli provocation will be well tempered and considered, and moreover, carefully coordinated among all parties at the table. Meanwhile, Wash/DC is more than rattled, Netanyahu is out of control of Western allies. One possible rationale for current inaction on Arab and other players is an active response will spark the much needed by Israel/US/UK regional melee with Iran at the center. This would leave Israel to complete their genocide (no one left to move into Sinai) under cover of a regional war. Passive response allows US/Israel to continue actively slitting their own throats so to speak, continuing their rush down and into the black hole of total disaster : Economic -Israel’s economy is finished and US nearly so; Political – voters in both so called democracies are up in arms, the 2024 US election has a good possibility of erupting into a civil war; and geopolitically – allies, irrespective of visits by head of state, are tempering support as both entities have lost total credibility, independent and non allied entities are now closely aligned with BRICS+ GCC and ASEAN. Wherein energy sanctions as well other non military actions are being seriously discussed.

In one regard Hamas’ attacks were similar to the Arab Spring. In both cases the US was completely unaware that something was about to happen. In both cases the US was caught by surprise.
Hamas’ attacks were actually VERY usefull because it showed the impotence of Israel is preventing these attacks. In that regard these attacks were similar to the Tet offensive in Vietnam.
Escalation ? I don’t see how other arab countries could be willing to participate in the conflict between Hamas / Hezbollah on the one hand and Israel on the other hand. However, I think the governments in the Middle East are more afraid how their populations will react to the “tensions” in Gaza/Israel/southern Lebanon. Perhaps these populations will stage a second “Arab Spring” in a number of countries in the Middle East & North Africa. Hello “Arab spring part 2” ???

Iran will be attacked directly by the US within the next 2 weeks at the latest.
Bombing of Iran itself, attacks on Iranian tankers and shipping.
The pretext will be attacks on illegal US bases in Iraq and Syria.
Probably fake claims over WMD as well.

Then there is the moral question – if we fuck up our own planet, do we have the right to go and fuck up another one? I don’t think so. We have to evolve into a species that can exist without war, first. How’s that going?
Posted by: Jams O’Donnell | Oct 27 2023 19:03 utc | 154

If we fuck up our planet… Sorry but it is already done.
About other planets, you can forget completely. Life is adapted to our planet not to another one. And anyway other planets are too far away. SciFi novels and movies are just that “fictions”.

Our right is survival. We’ll never be a species without conflict. From prosperity to status, to reproduction, conflict, and competition are necessary. Yes, we could evolve into something else, but it won’t look like anything you would recognize as human. Perhaps more like potted plants.

Typical western way of thinking. Kill them all! Cooperation instead is necessary, but the western world prefer to loot, kill and genocide instead to look for cooperation. The western countries did that for five centuries. Time to stop them. More than 90% of people all over the world want to live in peace. JFK understoof it. That is one of the reasons he was assassinated. The messianists on the other hand think that they are above all others, that they can fix their own rules.
Before the world was divided in three, hence the Third World. Now the world is divided in two. And one side is far from the majority of humanity, but only some 14%. They only pretend to be democratic when they are plutocratic oligarchies. And they want to rule the world.

Then there is the moral question – if we fuck up our own planet, do we have the right to go and fuck up another one? I don’t think so. We have to evolve into a species that can exist without war, first. How’s that going?

If we fuck up our planet… Sorry but it is already done.
About other planets, you can forget completely. Life is adapted to our planet not to another one. And anyway other planets are too far away. SciFi novels and movies are just that “fictions”.

In response to

Iran will be attacked directly by the US within the next 2 weeks at the latest.
Bombing of Iran itself, attacks on Iranian tankers and shipping.
The pretext will be attacks on illegal US bases in Iraq and Syria.
Probably fake claims over WMD as well.

Below is a quote from the latest Pepe Escobar posting you might want to consider

Here the US – unwillingly – is showing its impotence to do something. It can send all the troops it wants but that doesn’t automatically mean that these troops will be able to “stabilize” the situation.
We have this multiple times before:
– The US didn’t have the sympathy of the vietnamese population in Vietnam and therefore ultimately lost the war in Vietnam. Sending more troops only made things worse for everyone in Vietnam.
– The US invasion of Iraq. In spite of having some 100,000 troops over there the US never was able to meaningfully stabilize the situation in Iraq. It had to be done by the shiites themselves.
– All the troops in Afghanistan weren’t able to “stabilize” the situation over there. Hence the US withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
– Let’s assume we have a second “Arab Spring” in one or more countries in the Middel East. What would US do then ? Send the 82th airborne division ? Do a mass scale invasion ? Drop atom bombs ? It would only stir up more hatred in the populations in the Middle East against the US, its “rogue behaviour” and the government(s) over there.
– No, in that regard, it’s clear that the US is (gradually) losing its ability to make a major dent in the trajectory the Middle East (and to a lesser extent North Africa) is on.

Yes, the same happened in 1939 and in 1914. Nobody (including Hitler) wanted a World War. Everybody wanted a limited, short confrontation leading to a neat result. A Blitzkrieg, indeed.
Then things slipped out of hands, and took a logics on their own…

To me, it looks like the attack on October 7th was an “Announced Checkmate”, and what we see now is the panic that sets in after the realization that defeat has become inevitable. Every move appears to have its counter already in place. Does anyone else here think this might be the case? If not, why not?

Seems more and more possible that this is not being guided by US/UK/IL.
Could even be fruits of the double boo boo mentioned by rgl | Oct 27 2023 15:50 utc | 50
Noting that…

Never forget that China and Iran are linked by a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Here is my take on the timeline of disaster in the ME…….
– The Ike CVN Strike group will not be on station for another week, its now in the eastern Atlantic, and needs to then cross the Med, and through the Suez to get on station off Oman
– The Carl Vinson CVN just left San Diego, destination unknown, but most likely to join the Ike group off Oman
– The Ford CVN group is now west of Cyprus attempting to use the island as a screen it case of attack by Syria, Hezbollah, Russian or Iranian cruise missiles.
– Bibi has not yet authorized the full blown invasion because he fears if all three carrier groups are not on station to threaten Iran, that the IDF move into Gaza will trigger a massive missile attack on Tel Aviv and Haifa.
– Little do the IDF generals or Bibi realize that in the event of an IDF full blown invasion of Gaza, and the 25,000 dead Palestinian civilians that this will entail, that all bets are off, the law of cascading events will then take place and the US carriers deterrence will not and can deter an entire Arab Revolt like 1916.
– No one can predict what events that IDF invasion action will trigger…….is it…..heavy attacks on US bases in Iraq and the illegal bases in Syria; US counter attacks on Syrian bases and joint Syrian – Russian bases; Turkish and Egyptian attacks on Israel in support of the Palestinians; Iranian attacks on IDF and US bases; US attacks on Iranian oil fields; Chinese Navy attacks on US carrier based aircraft attacking Iran; Russian, Syrian and Iranian targeting of the US carriers; Iranian use of ballistic missiles to attack Tel Aviv and Haifa…..the list goes on and on…and I did not even mention the Hezbollah intervention with missile forces and infantry………unintended consequences of the mini-world war brought to you by the failure to implement UN resolutions 181 and 242, and IDF blood lust and US blunders……..
May you live in interesting times……but not this interesting……..
