Palestine Is Striking Back

October 5 2023:

Over 800 Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa compound during Jewish Sukkot holiday

More than 800 Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Thursday morning under the protection of Israeli forces.

Rabbis, heads of settlement associations, and far-right university lecturers were among 832 people who forced their way into the religious site compound, a source in the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem told The New Arab's Arabic sister site Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

Israeli forces imposed severe restrictions on Muslim worshippers entering Al-Aqsa and those under 60 were prevented from accessing the site.

It comes during the Jewish religious holiday of Sukkot, which started on 29 September and ends on Friday. The holiday has seen thousands of Israeli extremists storm the Al-Aqsa compound, with almost 1,500 entering the site on Monday.

Israeli extremists also continued on Thursday to hold provocative marches both inside Jerusalem's Old City and outside its walls, attacking Palestinians and their property.

They also beat and spat at journalists in a market area near Al-Aqsa, where shops were forced to close for the sixth day in a row.

The Old City is home to Al-Aqsa as well as the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The Al-Aqsa compound is the third holiest site in Islam and the most important Muslim place in Palestine.

October 7 2023:

Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

This morning, the Islamic Jihad group announced the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, igniting another local war against Israel. They formally cited regular oppression and attempts on Al-Aqsa as reasons, where local Arab worshippers have been repressed repeatedly (in addition, there have been raids against the Islamic Jihad in Jenin over the past few weeks).
The operation began quite dramatically: a naval landing was carried out in the north of the Gaza Strip, and there are also reports of airborne landings - someone parachuted into rear cities.
After three hours of fighting, the group successfully captured a military base in the town of Kerem Shalom: there are enough images on social media of killed IDF servicemen and captured equipment (there are also photos of a burnt "Merkava" tank). This is a huge base on the border with Egypt. To put it mildly, the trophy is very valuable.

▪️As of now, fighting is still ongoing in Netiv HaAsara, Berri, and Sderot. Panic has gripped the population of bordering villages, with footage of people fleeing on foot. The Israel Defense Forces began retaliatory strikes only after 10 in the morning. The Israeli Ministry of Defense has stated outright that Hamas has gone to war with them, and at 10:30, the official start of the Iron Swords counter-terrorism operation was announced.

This is likely to escalate. It is impossible to predict when or how this will end.

They ve had enough time time to learn from the Ukraine & Syria theatre
IDF today is facing another quality of palastine fighters more sophiscated, mobile, flexible & better equiped.
Not only Mossad has failed dramatically but iron dome as well

The state of Isreal has always had its own agenda. They have kept the conflict on the boil for decades. Simply because it suits Isreal to live as a military state, with the USA being a superpower this little country controls, the USA public have been mobilised to support apartheid over the past sixty years.
The Palestinian conflict could have been resolved by paying compensation from the billions of US aid given to Isreal, to the Palestinians in exchange for stolen land.
However the US arms industry would rather have it this way, and the conflict, a cash cow will continue.
There are righteous Jews who have been with the righteous Palestinians who do not want this conflict. But there are too many powerful vested interests that greatly benefit from the status quo.

There are people talking about a false flag operation with Israeli captured soldiers looking all the way like dummies...

Israel is talking about all out war ...this happens exactly two weeks after Israel and Saudi Arabia signed a peace traty, and exactly 50 years after the Yom Kipurv War which took out the gold standard....

We are currently through a full dedolarization process on the part of non-western alligned emergent countries...

This is the Rothschilds and the "masters of the world" who, facing the end of "War of Ukraine", because of tiredness of current "funders", need another great war which sets the Middle East on fire, because a Middle East in peace is a path to prosperity of burnt out countries like Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and its benefficial to Russia and China now opening the Northern Sea Route, which poses competition to the Suez Canal...just another coincidence in the last days....

This is the equivalent at the sea routes of transportation, to Nord Stream terrorist attacks with regard energy transportation...

According to Iran's state media, Batar Zikim (Bahad 4) training base is captured by Palestinians. There is a video of this on Persian site of IRNA but I couldn't find it on its English pages.
You can watch it on this page, WARNING: footage can be stressful.

Batar Zikim is located 8 km south of Ashkelon. It was founded in 1949 as the main IDF recruit training base, for all types of recruits.

According to Iranian media, 'The operation involved attacks from air, land, and sea. The drones of the Resistance movement have also targeted' bases and 'Some commandos of the Resistance used paragliders to land in parts of the occupied lands.'

Huge victories on the first day of the offensive, but we all know that without outside help (Lebanon?) Hamas will fail against the much more powerful Israeli army, coupled with its strategic depth and powerful weapons manufactured and donated by the USA.

My problem is that Israeli governments wanted a big open conflict as an excuse for massives lands thefts and a big expulsion (one more) of Palestinians. This Hamas offensive is welcome to them regardless of their losses, which are more symbolic than serious. I suppose Mossad's apparent "ineffectiveness" could also be due to a laissez-faire decision by the extremists in power in Tel Aviv.

Without opening northern front this will be nothingburger. Gaza is located in remote area and from military point of view will be easy to contain.

The situation in Israel

- The Palestinian fighters have freed prisoners from Ashkelon Prison.
- The Palestinians claim to have taken several Israeli soldiers hostage
- Israel's military has lost control over a border crossing with Gaza
- Hamas calls on armed groups in Lebanon to join the fight against Israel
- The Palestinians have taken several Israeli soldiers hostage
- The Israeli settlers run towards airports in mass as Palestinian resistance fighters' retaliatory attacks intensify.
-The war is getting very brutal, Israel is bombing civilians in Gaza, Palestine is liquidating Israeli civilians in cities
-Palestinians destroyed Israeli tanks

If no countries step in to fight along side Palestine, then Israel will eventually use this as justification to expell every Palestinian from the entire country.

I don't know what is going to come forth from other Arab states, but if none of them intervene then Israel will surely retaliate to the fullest extent and will likely have the whole of western media supporting them.

This feels like Palestine can never back down now or else they will be entirely destroyed. It is suddenly leaps and bounds closer to World War 3 becoming fully hot after simmering in Ukraine and the related economic spheres for years prior.

Come November 17, the Israelis might suddenly find they've run out of ammunition and missiles to hit the Palestinians with.

It's not only the Ukrainians who have reason to fear what happens after mid-November.

Scott Ritter:

Hamas has reportedly captured Brigadier General Nimrod Aloni. Aloni stepped aside as the commanding officer of the Gaza Division in August 2022. He currently is the commander of the “Depth Corps”, a strategic force whose mission is to use Israeli special forces to operate in the depth of an enemy. It seems Hamas has turned the table on Israel, and is now operating in Israel’s strategic depth. This operation is extraordinarily well planned and executed. Any notion that Israel will be able to contain this attack soon is misplaced. Israel did not anticipate anything of this scope and scale. It is a massive intelligence failure for Israel, and an equally impressive operational success for Hamas.

This is a good point. Normally Israel would have an effectively endless supply of weapons and ammunition, since the US and NATO could resupply them whenever they start running low. But Ukraine has pretty much drained that reserve, so where will Israel get its replacement more weapons and ammunition from? Russia? China? The US won't like that. And if they can't get them there, then suddenly a war with Hamas becomes a very different affair.

Of course, in such circumstances, Israel could go nuclear. And some Israelis might just be crazy enough to do that. Dangerous times

Palestinians have entered the Israeli cities of Ashkelon and Sderot. One question: where is the IDF anyway? You have a border with an enemy state, you have advanced weapons, and not a small army for a small border, but your army is not there, the enemy is in your cities. The border is somehow full of holes.

And we were still complaining about ours in the Belgorod region...

I remember videos with the super-duper newest drones of the Israeli army, all sorts of tracking systems and many other “nice things”, but all this does not matter when there is an enemy in your city and you allowed it.

They will knock them out, of course, but the fact is this: Hamas is in the Jewish cities. Who would have thought?!

An emergency Security Council is being prepared in Tehran. There is a very high risk of the IDF using tactical weapons against Iran within 48 hours if Cairo and Washington are unable to begin the process of détente. At 15:00 Moscow time, a decree is expected to bring the IRGC and the Iranian Armed Forces to full combat readiness.

Adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, General Rahim Safavi:

"Iran supports Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, launched by Palestinian radicals in Israel"

Meanwhile Israel declared war against HAMAS. And Iran said they will support Palestine.

DNA wise it would be hard to distinguish most Israelis from most Palestinians, Russians from Ukrainians, Indians from Pakistanis etc. If any of these twin groups would change dresses it would be difficult to see much difference. So why do these near identical groups of humans fight each other?

Rigid ideologies, mental memes cultivated since childhood in ancient emotional egoistic territories. Keep on fighting till both side's pawns see they have been duped. In the past the most brutal and powerful club used to win, but times have changed: even the clever foxes will be outplayed, now by flexible "Evolution", the One that created "both" sides of this same species coin. We have the job to make the suffering shorter by opening our eyes sooner rather than later.

Not a single Western outlet that i read today has had the decency to explicitly inform its readers about the cause and effect of these 2 events, evidenced by their close temporal proximity. In fact this episode is being mostly framed as an attack or escalation, as opposed to a response to an Israeli provocation. No surprises there..

I can't say murdering civilians in this manner will do Hamas any favours in either the neutrals or even anti-Western camps, regardless of how provoked or 'justified' they would feel. All they did was help reinforce Israel's narrative about the terrorist nature of Hamas' actions, despite Israel's being equally terroristic, and patently larger in scale when it comes to human deaths and suffering inflicted. The imminent violence in Gaza will be justified to the Western public as Israel dishes out its latest disproportionate and indiscriminate response to today's Hamas attacks, and the Al-Aqsa connection will quickly disappear even among the few outlets that bothered making it.

It will be interesting to see if Israel's response will draw Hezbollah into the fight. With Syria hotting up next door, it seems we are now heading ever closer to another axis opening up and ready to explode in the lead up to WW3.

This is exactly what Nato planned to do in Donetsk and Lugask cities.

Never forget that the only part of the Israeli forces that works well these days is the air force. It was well demonstrated in the Gaza war of 2014, where the land force failed. The army is only good for shoting down unarmed Palestinians. It seems to me that this is being well demonstrated this morning, where the Gazans have made large scale penetrations.

The orgies of Israeli Jewish supremacism were ongoing for months, especially during Jewish holidays when all movements through Gaza and West Bank crossing are crossed, and you have invasions of al-Aqsa. Mind you, today's fanatics in Israeli government are more extreme than ever. In the background, both Ukraine (and the West) and Russia created huge black market of civilian-use but weaponazible drones that have huge role in Ukrainian war. unspoken consensus with the jaded here seems to be that after a brief incursion and a rocket volley israel will launch some perfunctory airstrikes on gaza, tighten the screws and call it a day. that is not at all how this is going to go down and people should snap to.

israel will see this is at its 9/11, and the palestinians are going all in after the saudi sell-out and al-aqsa attack by israeli zealots. a large part of southern israel was and may still be under the control of palestinians, hostages have been taken, there have been massacres, and nearly 3,000 missiles landed as far north as the tel aviv airport. this is going to become a war of annihilation of the two sides, and hamas is counting on shaming hezbollah into joining the conflict with its arsenal of 130,000 missiles.

And every Jew who has emigrated to Palestine/Israel since the beginning of the British Mandate after WWI, along with all their descendants, must permanently leave Palestine willingly or be deported and removed by force.

Doesn’t something usually happen on Putin’s birthday, but in an anti-Russia direction normally? (It’s also Canadian Thanksgiving weekend which is traditionally a time for some cross-border American diplomatic BS, but I digress.)

One has to admire the design of this endless war zone.

Put two confronting religions in one place, brains are instantly off. Supply both with weapons. Have one poke the surroundings all the time. Neverending conflict, weapon sales, drama.

Humanity is far away from overcoming setups like that. Motivation for change seems to be just spectacle anyway, nothing too serious.

If you return ( to evil ), We will return. Surah Al Isra. The savagery of the Netanyahu regime will be avenged.
The international response to Israeli government savagery and stupidity will be quickly mobilised and crush Israeli aggression once and for all. Inshallah.

as always, innocent civilians will pay the price for Hamas, well done Hamas, ahaha

There is a video of Israel towing equipment on the road, including fighter jets out of some airbase to avoid them being captured. And that is in the south of the country. Apparently Hamas breached the entire southern border of Gaza and might be roaming more or less freely.

Another video shows people trying to leave Israel through the air port.

If ever there was a time to sit down and talk peace it would be now, before the bloodshed escalates beyond...
@ ForWhomTheBellTolls | Oct 7 2023 12:14 utc | 62

There has never been an honest trustworthy Jewish-Zionist to talk peace with.
Not one. Not ever. And definitely not now.
As a group they are agreement incapable, and despicable liars and thieves.

No you're not. I've read the drivel you've written about WTC. You don't even understand the basic design principles which made WTC vulnerable to attack by airliners travelling at 500 mph.

And you either haven't read the NIST Report or didn't understand it :-)

I have to say I am impressed. I expected something to happen, but this shows real competence. And clearly the Izzies are not ready. It will take them a while to mobilize, and what they have is likely up North.

The religious have been increasingly filling the military ranks, and they are every bit as crazy and viscious as the muslim jihadis or the Ukrainian Nazis.

Drones! Oh my that is going to drive them nuts.

Clearly 20 years of Bibi and bullying civilians has not sharpened the IDF up. What will they do it Hezbollah decides to help out, they have lots of rockets. And Iran. And Syria owes them some payback too.

And Uncle Sugar is in a depleted state.

And what will Ukraine do when it is no longer on the front burner?

So many applecarts being upset.

Ex-Mossad chief: Netanyahu allies worse than KKK, overhaul is his ‘master plan’

Need anyone say more? When they put the KKK in charge what would one expect?

In talking with my Lebanese friends who is in and out of the country, Hezbollah Lebanon will do nothing due overtly to the gas deal they cut with Israel. Covertly I suspect they helped the Palestinians import weapons and ammo as they control all of Lebanons entry points and tax everything coming in and out.

@ 79

They've been stuck in a dystopian slum city for years, without the cyberpunk charm ya eejit. What've they got to lose?

A good move for the Gazans would be to just swarm the fences en-masse. The Israelis are in no fit state, to contain hundreds of thousands of their escaped prisoners.

@ 82

Isn't Bibi currently embroiled in a pissing-contest with Mossad? I suppose this is what happens when your head is up your own fundament whist trouble is brewing.

I doubt Mossad, "allowed" this to happen as they'd be blamed too. Looks like they've simply degraded over time, like the IDF. And were overrated to start with.

Inkan 1969

Jewish Zionist

The Zionism of today already existed in Jesus pbuh time and he pbuh called the Jeish people to return to the observance of their faith. God Alone is the one who gives or removes political power.

But because neither the Jews nor their Zionist militants would listen to him, the Jewish faith was cancelled and the custody of Monotheism entrusted to the last prophet Muhammad SAW whose arrival was prophecied on both the Bible and Gospel scriptures.

Neither the Zionists nor the Jews listened to what their Messiah Jesus son of Mary pbu both said.
Jewish or Zionistmakes no difference .
Both rebelled against what their prophets Jesus and Muhammad pbut said.

It gets a little tiresome to have to explain this to an educated audience after 2000 years of it being common knowledge, except in USUKIS.

Posted by: Giyane | Oct 7 2023 13:25 utc | 87

But isn't Hamas itself a Muslim jihadi group? Aren't they using a religious reason, the storming of the al Asqa Mosque, as the provocation for this action?

Posted by: Inkan1969 | Oct 7 2023 13:16 utc | 88

Sure, so what? Clearly 20 years of Izzies brutality has sharpened Hamas up, and clearly they have help. Israel has dug itself into a big hole. The issue here is not religion, it is military competence and capability.

Posted by: Bemildred | Oct 7 2023 13:26 utc | 88

Regarding the situation in Israel, you need to understand the following.

The country's defense army was not ready to repel an attack on the border. While Qassam rockets were striking Israel, the Palestinians captured at least 13 communities, and the total advance of Hamas forces was about 30 km deep into Israeli territory.

The Palestinians broke through the security perimeter of the base without the use of military equipment at all - they used construction bulldozers and metal cutters to dismantle the fence.

A small military base near the Kerem Shalom checkpoint was captured along with Merkava IV tanks and American M113 armored personnel carriers, as well as an impressive arsenal of small arms and grenade launchers. The personnel were asleep during the capture and did not have time to resist.

The Israeli army is gradually taking retaliatory actions, but the attackers have a big head start in time. Presumably, at least half of the Israeli checkpoints with military equipment on the border with the Gaza Strip are under Palestinian control.

Posted by: Down South | Oct 7 2023 13:27 utc | 89

Hamas is not that stupid. They know very well that no other Arab country will join in the fight. Even Hezbollah won't get on board, because they want to keep their arsenals and men for when the "real fight" starts, e.g. Israel attacking Lebanon. This operation has really some clear goals and objectives: First to show that Israel, just like Nato, can't hold its own in a real fight. Israel is just surviving by way of it superior air force, unlimited support from the West and its nuclear weapons, of course. Apart from that Israelis are not the mythical Supermen that the MSM constantly rejoices about. Second, to expose Saudi Arabia's MBS as a big piece of S... in the eyes of the Arabs. The Arab world will also rejoice at anything done to the Israelis, executions, kidnapping, etc... Seeing how their holy sites are constantly desecrated by Israel why no one is saying or doing anything. Why wouldn't they? Third, Palestinians are killed on a daily basis in Palestine by Israelis, with total impunity. Gaza continues to be an open-air prison and the West-bank is under control of both Israel and the totally corrupt PA. So what do the Palestinians lose in staging this, more or less, suicidal attack? Nothing really, absolutely nothing. In fact they only gain by shaking to its core the Status Quo, and also demonstrating to the world that a determined force, with the help of the new "super weapon" that is the Drone, can create new realities on the ground.

Thanks for this report, b.

It's rather weird that this story hasn't been reported in the Zionist-controlled 'western' MSM in Oz. The Oz MSM has been obsessing about Iran and Syria's imaginary sins (the main Zionist preoccupation).

I hope the rumours that Iran is moving to a war footing are true.

Posted by: Hoarsewhisperer | Oct 7 2023 13:29 utc | 92

If Hezbollah enters the fight, all of Northern Palestine will be liberated. And there will be a huge exodus of Zionists.

Let's go!

Posted by: Surferket | Oct 7 2023 13:31 utc | 94

The question is why the Globalists' intelligence services have stirred up the Middle East at this time. Is it simply to distract from the disaster unfolding in Ukraine? Is it an attempt to escalate into WWIII? Is there some news about to come out that the Globalists want to hide from the public and will use another war to distract the people?

Its pretty funny that everyone labels their enemies "extremists" nowadays. I guess "fascists" and "racists" have worn out their welcome and we're down to the more generic "extremists". Fortunately, and just like with fascists and racists, you cannot negotiate with extremists by their very nature so its morally right to continue and even escalate every altercation into a war between good and evil. You know, for the children and all.

Well, that's what the Palestinians have had, day after day after day, for the past 70 years. Why should the Zionists be exempt?

One thing perhaps gone unnoticed. But US said they will reallocate the remaining $5 billion of the presidential drawdown authority weapons from Ukraine to Israel.

Analysis: is that the final death blow for Ukraine? Or perhaps not the final, but Russia will get far more ahead of the game than they already were.

“Hamas is not that stupid. They know very well that no other Arab country will join in the fight. Even Hezbollah won't get on board, because they want to keep their arsenals and men for when the "real fight" starts, e.g. Israel attacking Lebanon.”

Ridiculous to assume.
