Our Zionist friends will seize the opportunity of this war to ethnically cleanse all of Palestine and create their ethnically pure state. The “human animals” in Gaza can all go and live in a big tent city in Sinai paid for by Qatar. What little remains of Palestinian land in the West Bank and Jerusalem can be stolen by the settlers and the inhabitants pushed out into Jordan or wherever. After all, they are just “animals on two legs”, insects, grasshoppers, cattle, and it’s their own fault for getting in the way of the Chosen People. And all the Shabbos in Washington and Brussels can be relied upon to applaud like trained seals and pay for it all, with all the stooge Arab dictators in Morocco, Sudan and the Gulf queueing up to “normalise” relations with Nutty yahoo. So it should soon all be sorted out quite nicely.

You didn’t mention the gas fields off the coast of Gaza.

I’ll go even further to suggest it exceeds “Arab” nations to the Muslim world as a whole. The Muslim “world communities” are nothing more than a bunch of loud-mouthed. Zero backbone, with little “pin pricks” to show “dissatisfaction”, attack a U.S. base here and there (of course, injuring no one) while they all sit occupied themselves, unwilling to even free themselves from Western control and colonialism from the 1920s.
They appear to like they’re “summits” and “threats”, but apparently enjoy their overlords more. So, carry on Gazan’s, to the slaughter you go. Your ME “brothers” won’t even free themselves.

Make of it what you will. These do seem excessive, considering there isn’t probably that many close range clashes yet, but even half would be significant. Some days ago Hezbollah claim 10 Merkava tanks.

ISRAELI ARMOR FORCES SUFFERED SIGNIFICANT LOSSES
➡️According to Turkish sources, referring to intelligence data, the Israeli forces had significant losses in armored vehicles in the past 2 weeks, in the battles with Hamas and Hezbollah.
➡️🇮🇱According to these statements, the IDF lost 33 “Merkava Mk4” tanks (21 were destroyed by Hamas and 12 by Hezbollah). Israel has 350 Merkava Mk4 tanks in operational use and another 220 in reserve, which would mean that in two weeks, the IDF lost about 10% of its operational tanks.
➡️In addition to the Merkava tanks, Turkish sources state that the Israeli forces also lost:
▪️About 40 “Namer” infantry fighting vehicles
▪️Up to 50 M113 armored fighting vehicles
▪️20 surrounding transporters “Ahzarit”
▪️About 50 armored vehicles “Hummvi”

There are satellite pictures of vast number of tanks north of Gaza.
If Russia were to park their tanks out in the open like that, the tanks would not last an hour. So I assume this is the last war where Israel can afford to do this. Next war, Iran will have satellites to help in targeting.

Darn it b, always happens just as I spend an hour putting together a comment on the previous thread😀
Ok to have some of it here as well?
To the bar in general and to these who have embraced the ‘religious’ angle of geopolitics.
Specifically I’ll refer to three posts that have pointed towards that trend. I don’t know their motivations and don’t criticise their points of view.

“Due to some inertia of the first millennium, Western and Eastern Christians still maintained visible unity. But a century and a half later, in 1204, when the Roman Catholic “crusaders” captured and destroyed Orthodox Constantinople, it became clear: Western civilization had completely fallen away from Orthodoxy.”

The following are some statement’s from that article referred to by the first poster , a publication calling itself Countere Magazine – “ We are a coalition of individuals assembled to stand against the shadow sweeping the Earth that threatens to rob us of truth, hope, and, most nightmarish of all—imagination.
Blah , blah … biblical? lofty ‘ideals’ indeed and very slick!
The particular author who bylines is ‘Zachary Emmanuel

He wrote:
“‘Last month, in September, a shadowy but powerful group known as the Temple Institute announced that the “first red heifer in 2,000 years” had been born in Israel. This wasn’t their first red heifer—in September 2022, The Jerusalem Post reported that the institute paid over $250,000 to fly five perfectly red, unblemished heifers from a Christian rancher in Texas to the land of Israel’”
“The Temple Institute and the Temple Mount Faithful are just two of the extremist ultra-Orthodox organizations whose primary mission is to rebuild the Third Temple in Jerusalem. They have built close ties with, and receive financial assistance from, Christian fundamentalist groups in the United States, who believe a Third Jewish Temple will herald the return of Jesus to Earth and the subsequent Rapture. This influential but subterranean belief helps explain, in part, the United States’ warm relationship with Israel.’
‘Next year, the red heifers from Texas will finally be of ripe age to sacrifice. The Biblical nonprofit that helped procure them, Boneh Israel, hopes they will be sacrificed in Passover 2024—thus marking the last element needed for Temple worship.”
He tops his article with:
“This is not a war of geopolitics, like Russia and Ukraine. This is a holy war, fought between the most extreme but militant elements of two ethno-religious groups, to either cause or prevent the End of the World.”
“On October 7, Hamas militants launched the most brutal attack on Israel in our lifetimes, “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.” We’ve heard and seen the many grisly details: women and children kidnapped, families gunned down and taken hostage, bodies burned and mutilated. What has gone curiously unreported in Western media—what is strangely missing from Wikipedia entries about the conflict—is why the invasion happened when it did. “
That’s what Contrererere writes and it set off alarm bells, which I had to look again to find why?
Hunh-hunh – this is exactly both these things, geopolitics and religion- let me explain – the clues is in “bodies burned and mutilated.”
Which bodies?
Whose bodies?
Name them.
Show us their details.
Show us the forensics.
Might it be that many of the ‘burned and mutilated’ possibly show signs of blasts and bullets. possibly Russian ones…..
might even have been dead for a while even…
Because I for sure don’t recall any non-mercenary Israeli casualties being mentioned in Ukraine, but I did see a story recently about few thousands being ‘withdrawn’ from there!
Curiously it was after that meeting that shelenskey had with Kissinger and the Finks and Bankers in NewYork last month as he skulked around grandstanding at the UNSC under some scummy chair…
Ah that pesky imagination..
Anyway back to sky fairies and the East West split of the Roman Empire, the whole of Western European and USA-sian History.
I have been banging on about the necessity of that scope of history to understand all our ‘received’ history of the now Collective Waste lands.
The rest of it is at the previous thread. If anyone is curious interested.

unimperitor at 4, was that armor hit on base parked or staffed? How much staffing is required to operate each of those said armored carriers? It seems like this fighting is spilling more blood after spilt blood. Could have been an opportunity for pause & reflection about settler destabilizations, such as at Al Aqsa recently that caused all this.

Just like it did during the era of Dystopia Pandemic, the word “misinformation” is rearing it’s ugly head. Criticism of the Netanyahu govt. in America will be considered “dangerous” and worthy of mockery and suspicion. And censorship.

“There are some posts regarding the bomb case but they can be from anywhere in Gaza. For this site, it shall be concrete evidence that the part is found at the location. A unique analysis from the pen of John Helmer…
https://johnhelmer.net/memo-on-the-final-solution-for-one-state-israel-or-palestine/#more-88712
Some highlights… worth reading in it’s entirety…
A. Since 1943 the US and its European allies, including Germany (Olaf Scholz’s government, not Adolf Hitler’s), have aimed to liquidate the secular nationalist Arab leadership capable of co-existence with the West and a state for the Jewish people.
B. In Palestine Hamas has studied seventy-five years of lessons on the impossibility of coordinating Arab state war in the defence of the Palestine part of the two-state solution.
C. For more than a year, therefore, Hamas has prepared in well-kept secret an offensive against Israel to achieve five objectives:
1.Demonstrate Israeli military inferiority, vulnerablity, incompetentence of their intelligence
WRT the Arab world.
This was achieved by the attack of October 7.
2. Demonstrate the Israeli plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza, commit genocide against the Arabs,
and incorporate all Israeli-occupied territories into a single theocratic Zionist state:
3. Hold out against the expected Israeli counterattack for long enough to activate the
resistance:
a. Hezbollah forces on the northern Lebanon front
b. Syrian and Iranian forces on the eastern Golan front
c. West Bank Palestinians
d. Jordanian Palestinians, to target US air and armoured land force bases in Jordan.
So far, so good.
4. Compel the vacillating sheikhdoms to resist US pressure;
5. Limit oil and gas supplies to the enemy markets;
6. Prevent regional land base and air transit rights being activated in support of Israel
— so far, so good.
7. Engage the friendly nuclear powers – Russia, China – to deter, and if necessary combat US
forces in the region and Israel’s threat to fire its nuclear weapons.

There is more, much more covered in his report, all worth reading…

I am for normalization. Less death, same success, but it takes more time. As Israel becomes more integrated with the Arab world and thus less of an American protectorate, they will have to end their colonial policies.
I understand people want revenge and justice written in blood, but those aren’t the people actually fighting on the front lines, and so don’t really have “skin in the game”.

See my comment @16. The Arab states are not stupid. They are operating with different values and goals than Western observers want to understand. Just as the Russians do things in a Russian way, the Arabs are working on a much bigger project with immensely greater meaning, IMO.

They slaughtered what 4000 so far? Maybe once they hit 10000 the Israeli bloodlust will be satisfied? Maybe 20000? 100000? Perhaps the fucking squid and any other lurking fascist apologists could let us know just exactly how many Palestianins have to die before you will stop your wanton murder?
Outrageous and likely to result in all our deaths. Thanks to Israel for being religious whackadoos and to all the sycophants for helping fan the flames of ww3.

It doesn’t matter if Israel bombed the hospital or not. They are committing war crimes every hour for two weeks now and already killed hundreds of innocent civilians, many of them women and children.

This is exactly the counterargument. “Ok, Moshe, let’s say you didn’t bomb the hospital. You did bomb all of the other hospitals and churches, right?”
We all have a habit of hyper-focusing on details, and thus, missing the forest for the trees. Propaganda works to keep us in such a narrow and autistic mode of analysis.

I find myself wondering how long Israel can keep up this rate of expenditure of ammunition? All this bloviating and bombing is not a strategy. In particular the anti-rocket missiles seen unlikely to be able to keep up this pace. What happens when better stuff starts being used? Hamas part in this leadup to war seems to be to provoke Israel into unwise excess, while Hezbollah/Syria/Iran distract attention in the North and keep their reserves intact.
Well never mind, carry on.

Hamas recently tried to release two hostages with knowledge of the Hannibal Directive
but Israel refused to take them.
The above are possibilities. But Israel has refused to receive some hostages. Why?

Larry Johnson has a take on the hospital bombing : https://sonar21.com/after-weighing-the-evidence-israel-appears-responsible-for-the-bombing-of-the-al-ahli-hospital/
Comments would be appreciated. However the amount of effort put into the investigation of the hospital bombing compared to the quick decisions regarding Bucha, Konstantinovka, Mariupol theater aso. is very telling in itself.

Ok, so we have heard from the WSJ and the Defense Minister of Canada.
No disrespect but, “so what?”
Let us know when the full contingent of the Coalition of the Willing
has done a salute.

Fun fact
There is a pretty tight one-to-one overlap of the 50-odd nations that
signed on to the Coalition of the Willing
and the 50-odd nations that participated in the CIA’s kidnapping and torture crime
known as “Extraordinary Rendition”.

Allegedly, one can track the location of the USS Gerald Ford with a tracker found with a Google search. It indicates that the ship is located off the coast of Italy.
If that is true, it seems some caution is being exercised.
With ships from China and Russia and others in the Med, the situation is ripe for an accident or a false flag event.

It doesn’t matter if Israel bombed the hospital or not. They are committing war crimes every hour for two weeks now and already killed hundreds of innocent civilians, many of them women and children.
by: Apollyon |Oct 22 2023 13:41|15

Your main point is right but it does matter. A decent person might support Israel due to ignorance.
Such a huge media story disputing who slaughtered people leads people to become curious, morbidly and ethically, about what actually happened. They in turn get progressively more educated on the history.
This is a true story; many of us old farts went through this experience. A younger adult I know is very angry right now having gone thru the process.
Beyond that, you’re right, it’s horrible, but people are people and this involves basic psychology, geopolitical strategy and propaganda. You play the hand you are given.

Not that it matters seeing as other parts of Gaza have been veritably levelled, but it seems the al-Ahli hospital tragedy was a result of a Hamas rocket which fell short…

I would expect to see many of these types of ‘analyses’ and forensic investigations in the MSM in the coming days. NYT does it every time the propaganda machine is set up on shaky ground. WMD’s in Iraq, Assad ‘gassing his own people,’ Shireen Abu Akleh… In fact, as soon as I see a supposedly neutral ‘forensic analysis’ of the evidence in MSM that is meant to prove something didn’t happen, at this point I consider it proof that that thing DID happen. If it didn’t, they wouldn’t go to the trouble of putting out the forensic analysis.
Apollyon gets it right below. It doesn’t MATTER. They are worried that the hospital bombing is going to be a lightning rod for the opposition, and the US and the Zionists are holding out hope that if they can misdirect for a week or two, their problems will evaporate. The LAST thing anyone should want is an investigation, which is just going to take away from the bare facts in front of the eyes of the world: US and Israel are committing outrageous war crimes, in the open, all the time, in violation of anyone but a Neocon’s sense of dignity.

You haven’t understood that Israel, both its militants and its government, have been 100% opposed to integration with the Arab world since long before 1948. It will never happen. If an Israeli PM wants to make peace, he is either forced out, like Abba Eban, or assassinated (Yitzhak Rabin).

How in the hell did Joe Biden come up with a figure of $40 billion in military aid for Israel? Israel’s military is ranked in the top 20 worldwide, it has its own military industries and is a modern country in every sense of the word with a high gdp per capita. Somehow it needs $40 billion to fight Hamas??? This reeks of the biggest grift ever (and that’s saying something)!!

After that young Israelis absolutely loved visiting Dubai. Then they had to go back to Israel and see a lower standard of living and less exciting atmosphere.
Normalization is a long-term play, and the ONLY PLAY if one doesn’t create mass bloodshed. Subversion has always worked throughout history. The Jews are just as susceptible to it as the Ukrainians, Americans, and Japanese. And it usually starts with the youth who have less dogmatic views and cultural trauma.

I forgot to mention that the so-called ‘normalisation’ is not integration in any way; it is rather the reverse – a treaty with an autocratic ruler who can be dealt with on a one-to-one basis, while the population outside the palace detest what their government is doing. And of course this ‘normalisation’ is falling apart now, what with the populations expressing their revulsion at Israel in the streets.

A resident of the Gaza Strip on the situation in the besieged enclave.
Nur Alsalibi, a resident of Gaza, on the situation in the city and the Israeli Air Force strikes—especially for the @voenkorKotenok TG channel:
“The situation in the city is very difficult. The intensity of the strikes is growing every day. Rockets can fly anywhere at any time. Even if they don’t hit your house, but the neighbouring one, blast fragments will fly into your house. Basically, they bomb the north and the “centre” (“Al Rimal”) [the Al Rimal neighbourhood is 3km from Gaza’s city centre –ed.]. Al Karama residential area [in Gaza’s north –ed.] has been completely destroyed. In Al Zahraa [in the central Gaza Strip –ed.], 24 residential buildings were destroyed.
Israel says Hamas was there, but that’s a lie—they weren’t there. Hamas fighters have gone into the tunnels under the city; Israeli missiles cannot even reach them. More than 90% of the dead were civilians. The figure of 4,385 dead is only those who could be found under the rubble. The real death toll is many times higher. A lot of children are dying who don’t know what Hamas and the IDF are.
The humanitarian situation is also getting worse. There has been no electricity for about two weeks. My family uses solar panels, so we have internet and at least some electricity. Most don’t have this. People charge their phones in hospitals where there are diesel generators, but there is less and less diesel for them. Pharmacies are closed, medicines are only available in hospitals, but they are also running out.
The water in the taps is provided for two hours a day—it’s dirty, but you have to drink it, there is no other water. No food. Large supermarkets closed in the first days of the war, because… people swept away everything that was there, but there were no new products. We mainly eat bread and canned food. Even animals suffer. I have three kittens in my house, and give them just a little food, because there’s nowhere to get more.
The fact that the population is allegedly leaving Gaza is an Israeli lie. Most remained in their homes. People are not leaving even under the threat of death. At the same time, phones are constantly receiving threatening messages from Israeli numbers. You may also receive a notification that “your house will be bombed” so that people feel in danger every minute.
We know that Russia opposes the West and does not support Israeli crimes. In Gaza they love Russia and the Russian people very much. Among the Arab countries, there is a very good attitude towards Qatar, Algeria, and Yemen. Among non-Arab ones—towards Iran. We believe that Iran and Hezbollah will intervene and prevent the genocide of Gaza.
But the attitude towards the governments of Egypt, the UAE and Jordan is very bad. Here, they are considered traitors who caved in to the USA and Israel. The final straw was the Jordanian king’s announcement to provide air bases to the American Air Force. And in general, the Jordanian government’s attitude towards the Palestinians has always been bad. If you have a Palestinian passport, the Jordanian security forces treat you like shit—they could detain you at the airport, or on the street, or raid you with a search.
As for the ground operation, I do not believe that Israel will launch it. The last time they carried out a limited ground operation was in 2014, when Hamas did not have the weapons it has today. And even then, Israel suffered great losses. Now they will be hundreds of times higher. If they enter Gaza, they will all remain here. People believe that Hamas will win. Support for the movement has only grown. Israel will achieve nothing by bombing.”

The hospital strike appeared too big an expolsive for a Hamas hit. There was no expected burn path for an errant missile heading for the hospital. I’ll wait for more evidence but the expert analysis continues.
Scott provided an explanation that makes sense, there’s ascenario I now believe.
“Scott Ritter Extra Ep. 108: Ask the Inspector – hospital strike”
https://youtube.com/live/5wKAJDNaAXw?si=dlyNdLfE8-CBP5Oc
This was a hit on a car at the hospital because someone important enough was using their phone incorrectly. They were (mis?)identified. The damage matches the missile type and I wonder who was in the flipped car.
It was a targeted hit. Scott’s a smart guy. I am not referring to Hamas using human shields, I mean transporting the injured to the hospital, of any sort, not necessarily combatants.
In the moment, were it family or an important officer, it would be easy to give in to the temptation to use your phone. When they did, Israel didn’t care it was the hospital or who else died.

Saudi didn’t and won’t, because there is a sizable population who are very pro-Palestinian, and MbS had to bend. I liked the way he kept Blinken waiting 14 hours.

From Middle East Eye live feed:

Anti-tank guided missiles targeting Israeli forces were reported at the Israel-Gaza frontier, Al Jazeera and Israeli media said.
Hamas’s armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, said fighters ambushed an Israeli force east of Khan Younis after crossing the fence separating Israel and Gaza.
Al-Qassam added they clashed with the Israeli troops and destroyed two military bulldozers and a tank before withdrawing to Gaza.

Hamas raiding parties have been active all week. This signals Hamas prepared for a long Siege. These types of pin prick raids are deeply disruptive to the attacking forces morale.

I don’t believe you understand normalization. The Islamic roots go back to the Prophet (PBUH) taking Mecca, which was occupied by his most vicious enemies with little bloodshed.
The way other cultures and people move is likely not the way your culture and people move.
How people feel about tourists, worker visas, who tips best, etc are irrelevant. That is the most micro level. Subversion (an unkind name for normalization) is a macro strategy executed on a long time scale. It’s not about winning this year, next year, or even within a decade. It is the untying of emotional knots and undermining culture. It has worked brilliantly in the West as mothers castrate their sons and women murder their babies and think all of it is rational and moral.
In my experience, Westerners struggle to think long-term. That is why they cannot understand the Chinese approach, which is multi-generational. The Arab method transcends the Chinese approach when it comes to persistence.
Give peace (and patience) a chance.

I think that it will be almost impossible for arab and muslim countries leaders to tolerate that Israeli soldiers invade again an arab territory they left in 2005. It will be seen as a regression, as a revival of 67 and it will therefore, in my opinion, at least leads Egypt and Jordan to put their armies on alert as a warning. That’s the escalation the US want to avoid by sending two carriers to the region. Will it be enough ? This is far from certain.

The guy’s a long-term plant.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Welby

Welby worked for eleven years in the oil industry, five of them for the French oil company Elf Aquitaine based in Paris. In 1984 he became treasurer of the oil exploration group Enterprise Oil plc in London, where he was mainly concerned with West African and North Sea oil projects. He retired from his executive position in 1989 and said that he sensed a calling from God to be ordained.[24]
During his oil industry career, Welby became a congregation member at the evangelical Anglican church of Holy Trinity in Brompton, London.[1]
In July 2013, following the report of the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards, Welby explained that senior bank executives avoided being given information about difficult issues to allow them to “plead ignorance”.[25] He also said he would possibly have behaved in the same way and warned against punishing by naming and shaming individual bankers which he compared to the behaviour of a lynch mob.[25]

Btw everyone, U.S. Tour of Duty has a twice weekly program dedicated to Scott.
Ask the Inspector.
https://www.youtube.com/@USTourofDutyPodcasts
It’s hilarious. Scott answers questions from viewers and the comments. And…. Scott can’t help reading them as they appear. To the point he disrupts the show. He periodically sees a comment and loses his shit, starts cussing away. Marine mode triggered.
The troll in me loves it. Someone should send this to his wife. She’s not pleased with his behaviour. And don’t make any veiled threats. He’ll invite you to his house to rip your arms off. I dunno, he’s out of shape, I think I could take him. What a pussy. 😉
And of course it’s a regular opportunity to gain his insights on current geopolitical events. He’s analysis of the hospital strike being just the latest example.

Larry Johnson has a take on the hospital bombing : https://sonar21.com/after-weighing-the-evidence-israel-appears-responsible-for-the-bombing-of-the-al-ahli-hospital/

This is a new article. His first one was open to the idea that it was ‘from the other side’. The comment section on the first article has a solid pushback on its content and are worth reading.
https://sonar21.com/many-unanswered-questions-surrounding-alleged-israeli-bombing-of-baptist-hospital-in-the-gaza-strip/
The second noted that the Israeli PR campaign had a bunch of holes.

To his credit, he followed the evidence and arrived at what is pretty obviously the right conclusion. Not that it is the least bit surprising that the Israeli were responsible.

Doctor Eleven: 4,000 is only the number of confirmed dead from the Palestinian health ministry. Many more are certainly buried under the rubble. Many more are dying of lack of medical support or simple thirst. Israel also says it killed 1500 Hamas fighters inside Israel, who wouldn’t be on the health ministry’s roles. I’m suspicious that Hamas pushed that many fighters forward into positions that were guaranteed to be lost. But… the initial attack was very sudden and shocking, and there were numerous pictures of civilians crossing the border and even sitting on Israeli tanks. Everyone also knew that a massive bombing campaign was coming. I’m guessing (but cannot prove) that large numbers of civilians fled INTO Israel that first day, hoping to escape the coming bombing. These civilians were likely rounded up and executed by Israel ala the Katyn Massascres of 1940. The media will never ask questions about these “1500 Hamas fighters.” This could easily be one of the worst crimes of the entire war, and it will likely never be discussed.

I can assure you I do, as you would know if you’d been on MoA for any length of time. Israel has no interest in peace; it’s a long-term policy which goes back to before the foundation of Israel. they’re only ready to dictate accords to autocratic rulers who’re willing to go against their people’s views, because these rulers are too weak (Jordan) or dependent on the US for one reason or another (Egypt, UAE, Bahrain etc). The agreements could evaporate in an instant. The Israeli embassies in their capitals sit in fortified isolation, ignored by the public. And even that is going now, as a result of the present war. We’ll be seeing withdrawals of diplomats.

Omar | Oct 22 2023 14:55 utc | 50
Sure they will. They don’t want to but have no leverage, no army, no nukes. Russia has nukes but they castrated the army, hired fake generals and turned it in a highly outnumbered police which can’t do anything. And no leverage. It’s why they’re simple spectators to the daily bombing of Donbass + border + Crimea + NS + npps + chemical weapons + banned weapons and so on. They must have a few thousands or maybe many thousands of civilians killed by Ukr + nato (including by Israel and their “trainers”) since the smo started but they have no problem with that. They only get a bit upset, mostly on social media, when Crimea is hit
