@ Dandy Chiggins III, #223, §145:
Exactly the same applies to Japan.
It remains occupied by American troops, stationed at Okinawa in the Ryukyu Is. For this reason, the Russians still occupy the Kuril Is. to the north.
Americans have pressured Japan into squandering $billions on useless, expensive American weapons they don´t want (and are against their constitution!). Nor do they want to become a “Ukraine” against China.
Even their second-hand cars, beloved by the Russians because of their sturdiness and ability to work in Siberia´s freezing winters, are now forbidden by American sanctions – which hurt only Japan and benefit Chinese exports of much inferior (in reliability) cars to Siberia.
Time for Japan´s current emperor, Naruhito, to do a Meiji. That seems unlikely, given Naruhito is such a wimp (almost as bad as England´s Charles III). Just as Princess Anne as Anne II would have been better for England, maybe his daughter, Princess Toshi, would be better for Japan. Currently she is denied succession because she is female: how unwoke!

The Liturgy of Lies has expanded to 206 with about a dozen fresh new howlers added in the past month:
https://vk.com/@818593619-the-liturgy-of-lies
Read from the bottom up for convenience:

187. Ukraine has no cultural or linguistic peculiarities – Podoliak (Perhaps he means there is only one cultural and ethnic group in Ukraine matters and the others are not worth his consideration?)
188. Ukrainian forces have taken Robotyne (28/08/2023)
189. Ukrainian forces have taken Robotyne (30/08/2023)
190. Ukrainian forces have taken Robotyne (1/09/2023)
191. Ukrainian forces have broken through the first line of the Russian defense (31/08/2023)
192. Ukrainian forces have broken through the first line of the Russian defense (02/09/2023).
193. Ukrainian forces have broken through the first line of the Russian defense – FOR REAL THIS TIME! (05/09/2023) – finally we’ve figured out the Ukrainians have redefined the Russian «Grey Zone» as «The First Line of Defense». It appears that to the Ukrainians «The First Line of Defense» identifies as the «Grey zone».
194. Cardboard drones made by Ozzie company Sypaq were used to damage the buff ilyushin aircraft on the runway at Pskov.
195. Cuban Mercenaries are being TRAFFICKED by Russia to fight in the Ukraine-Russia war (Trafficked Mercenaries, huh? That’s a new one. Or maybe I’m just naive …).
196. Russia carried out a drone strike on Romanian territory. Courtesy of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (Denied by Romania – Affirmed by Ukraine. Someone here is lying.)
197. Oleksii Reznikoff is being ‘relieved’ of his position due to corruption (in the same breath, the same media whispers that this corrupt man is being positioned as the next Ukrainian Ambassador to UK. A fitting punishment, I suppose!)
198. Sergei Surovikhin has been fired from his position again , or demoted in August/September 2023. (Don’t worry, Sergei, I too have trouble keeping stable employment …)
199. The AFU has broken the Zaporizhia line of defence – 5 September 2023 (Oh really? I suppose they’re about to take the nuclear power station too?)
200. Ukraine Breached Main Russian Defenses In Bakhmut – 5 September 2023 (So much progress in September! Just as they’re about to remove the defence minister for his excellent performance …)
201. Putin is an anti-semite!
202. Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. (Note: September 5, The UN International Commission of Inquiry on Violations in Ukraine did not find sufficient evidence that the actions of the Russian military in the country should be qualified as genocide. So stated its head Erik Møse.)
203. There were no casualties in the first Challenger 2 destruction on the Ukraine battlefield in September 2023 (all the occupants escaped with nary a scratch or a broken nail or broken heel)
204. Russia killed 17 people (or 18 depending on which news agency) in a missile bombing at Konstantinovka market street (This is why AP had to sensor the sound and indications of missile approach from the video – just in case people wrongly suspect the AFU … right?).
205. Russian Drones Struck Romania (September 2023) – Release Article 5!
206. Russian Drones Struck Bulgaria (September 2023) – Release Article 5!

I am pondering if Von Der Leyen’s apparent attempt to imply Russia was responsible for the nuking of Hiroshima should be included, or to just view it as her poor command of English …

The open support of ex-Nazis became undeniable last week when the Parliament in Ottawa gave a standing ovation to a former Waffen SS soldier. The applause was for his prescience in ‘fighting the Russians”.

Her English is at native level. No mistake in that slippery use of language to suggest the Soviets unleashed A-bombs on Japan. Very likely she has spent more years of her adult life speaking and writing English than German.

By Friday afternoon Ukrainian Con Man Volodymyr Zelenskyy left D.C. mostly empty handed, with just $384 million versus the $24 billion he was seeking. At this point, given the state of affairs on the ground in Ukraine, that that kind of dosh being thrown into that money pit isn’t intended to really prolong the war.
It has to serve a different purpose. Of course, when speaking about Davos, it’s all about keeping the US spending well beyond its means to hasten the demise of the country. Another $24 billion is a drain on the private economy we can’t afford, especially with real savings rates negative, as explained in this excellent talk between Danielle Dimartino Booth and Lacey Hunt on Hedgeye.
But that kind of money also has to be raised in the bond markets as well as through the tax system. We’re already fundamentally running on fumes economically here in the US. There’s no hope from anyone else, so the doctrinaire Keynesians have reached the limit of their toolbox.
There is no room to do anything other than cut spending, but that is the last thing anyone who is anyone on Capitol Hill wants to do. Everyone you saw take a picture with “the slob” Zelenskyy is someone intimately connected to the gravy train of tax money flowing into that hellscape and into their pockets and the pockets of their benefactors in the MIC, private equity space, etc.
It is only the gadflies like Gaetz that are really willing to call this out, but again, if they have no real power then the whole thing is just some pre-primary fundraising LARP.
The $384 million is symbolic money. It won’t do a thing to stem the bleeding in Ukraine. The signs are piling up everywhere that Project Ukraine is ending and all that’s really left now is to squeeze the final drops of blood from the US taxpayer stone.

Is the 384 million a “get out of jail, free” card??

Nothing wrong with her English.
She’s really not good at the facts.
Remember the story about her PHD?
And the other thing.
She was sent to Brussels because she was such a dud in the ministry’s she held under Merkel.

German radio and TV news transmissions are accusing Russia of leaving the poor people of Nagorny Karabach to be killed or expelled by Aserbaidjan.
It is only a matter of time until western historybooks explain, that Hitler was just defending Germany from a (planned) Russian invasion and Stalin was responsible for the holocaust.

According to Wikipedia von der Leyen lived in 78/79 in London and visited the School of Economics and bevor that she visited the European School in Brussels, where English was also thought. And since she became a Politician she traveled alot and my guess is, most of the communication was in English. So my guess is that comment was not due to poor comand of English.

Some $300 million in routine funding for Ukraine remains in the bill even though Rep. Marjorie Tayor Greene (R., Ga.) said she would vote “no” unless the money was stripped out. The bill doesn’t include the $24 billion in supplemental Ukraine funding requested by President Biden.

The Russians are constantly improving the Lancet…
https://t.me/geopolitics_live/6065
A new modification of Russia’s Lancet kamikaze drone is capable of hitting targets at a considerable distance, posing a threat to Ukraine’s air bases, a US military news outlet has reported
Ukrainian forces must consider the placement of any new fighters [including the due-to-be-delivered fourth-generation F-16 jets] in light of Moscow’s growing UAV capabilities, the news outlet noted.
An informed source earlier told Sputnik that the Russian company ZALA AERO recently unveiled a range of revolutionary upgrades for the Lancet’s hardware and software systems. According to the source, new design-related solutions were also used during the development of the Lancet’s upgraded version.

I have seen a video of a Lancet destroying a Ukie Su-24 in an airbase > 40 km behind the front..

The US is not really “giving” Ukraine tax dollars. Biden is giving US companies and departments that money. Ukraine “pays” for everything including training in the US and EU. The US economy gets the money and in a theoretical sense Kiev owes the USG the money Biden gave to US contractors. Kiev will never be able to pay the money back, which means that whatever government runs Kiev is controlled by the US. Unless Russia takes the whole country, in that case the money is gone.
The problem for both Ukraine and the US is that this profitable scheme depletes stockpiles across the west. How deeply depleted is an interesting question but somewhat immaterial. The structure of the US MIC (which is the structure of all western MICs now) is not designed to replenish for the sake of strategic readiness.
Even the proud announcements that in 18 months the US will produce 100k shells/month is smoke and mirrors. For one that’s not enough to supply Ukraine and train US troops. For two, if all of that production goes to rebuilding stocks it will take 2+ years to replace what has officially been sent. For three, I’ll believe it when there are confirmed production numbers.
All the military “aid” to Ukraine is really a short term cash grab within the US. As usual for a bank with nukes, the long term is ignored to maximize the short term cash grab. But the problems that short term thinking creates are real and most likely unsolvable because the US is a bank with nukes.

I’m baffled.

Is it spies? Insurrection? New offensive assault campaign ?
Any thoughts?

Ukrainian community rejects Kiev’s call to leave Crimea (RIA Novosti, September 24, 2023 — in Russian)

Ukrainians of Crimea feel great at home, in Russian Crimea, and will not leave the peninsula, the head of the Ukrainian community of Crimea, Anastasiya Gridchina, told RIA Novosti, commenting on the appeal by the Kiev authorities to leave the peninsula during the period of “de-occupation.”
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk in her Telegram channel called on “Ukrainians” to leave Crimea if possible and wait out the “de-occupation” on the territory controlled by the Kiev authorities or in third countries.
“Everyone who wanted to leave did so back in 2014, and the rest will not go anywhere. Ukrainians of Crimea feel great at home, in their native land—in Russian Crimea. Here Ukrainians are valued, protected, and their culture and language are preserved. I am sure that this will be the case from now on,” Gridchina said.
According to her, Vereshchuk, a poor excuse for a politician, obviously does not know what it is when the state cares and protects its citizens, because there is no such tradition in the Ukraine.
“During the period when Crimea was part of the Ukraine, Crimeans ‘got to experience the care,’ Ukrainian-style. The Ukraine stole everything that was in Crimea, violated the rights of the Russian-speaking population and much more. Russian Ukrainians, along with other peoples, are liberating the Ukraine from the brown plague of fascism,” said the interviewee.

Our source reports that Western experts advise Zelensky to abandon further offensive. Admit that they were unable to break through the Russian defenses. Focus almost all your forces on your defense so as not to lose even more.
They also advised Ze to abandon the repeated Bakhmutov meat grinder 2.0, which he has been implementing since the moment he lost his “fortune”.
No one from the office tells the Ukrainian people what it will cost, it will be very expensive.
Our source is confident that Zelensky will not listen to them again, which will worsen the situation at the front even more, as was the case in the first battle for the fort.

Trudeau’s profession before stepping into the afterglow of his father’s political career was drama teacher at a high school. He really got into his part this time didn’t he?. Oh and his pa was military age during WW2 but he didn’t serve. He spent his time in upscale universities instead. His family was wealthy.

We wrote that the Office of the President will convince everyone that the counter-offensive will not stop with the mud, so as not to put an end to the Azov operation.
Zelensky, at a meeting on Thursday with American editors, also predicted that Ukrainian troops would de-occupy two more cities captured by Russia. He didn’t say which ones exactly.
And contrary to the expectations of military analysts from the West, Mr. Zelensky said that Ukraine will fight all winter, without a pause.

Has anyone considered there is some indication that Ukraine is flying blind about its population? That the internal numbers they work from may have little reality?
How many dead? Wounded? Crippled/missing limbs? Total population? male and between 18 – 60 years old?
My point? This war might be a horror show beyond anything the West imagines, exposed sometime after it ends, because they fanatically pursued it with no regard for numbers. Indeed, no real knowledge of the numbers, even if they chose to ignore them.
Week after week, I read estimates from a wide variety of sources – including some supporting Ukraine – and there’s nothing substantial about them. Nobody knows, truly.
Ukraine could emerge as a broken, hopeless remnant of a nation far beyond anything seen after WW1 or WW2 carnage in Germany or France. Because nobody knows…..

Our sources report that the General Staff, together with the British military, is preparing new strikes on Crimea; strikes on the Navy in Sevastopol and military airfields on the peninsula are important for the Office of the President.
After the transfer of the first long-range missiles from the United States, a massive blow will be delivered to military infrastructure and the Koymsky bridge.

No I didn’t watch because I don’t want to see that disgrace. Hey! Canada is a democracy. The best country in the World according to former PM Chretien (a friend of Trudeau the father). Those Canadian politicians self-appoint God like prerogatives to judge other nations. Once elected the PM of Canada usually acts as a king for the next four years. Canadians don’t complain very loudly if at all. Such a small country (internal market) punching at Russia and China is asking for trouble.

One thing that Russia can always count on, without exception, is the short term thinking nature of the U.S. Political Class, especially American Appartchiks.
Always on the hunt for the short term sugar rush, never possessing the intellectual capacity to see tomorrow. Sad, stomach- turning, but true.
Russia could have been a commercial partner, possibly even a friend, but crass, dirty American strategy corners, have succeeded at the unthinkable. Convincing both Russia and China to work together in their mutual self-interest. And while American Elites think that their tomorrows will remain blissful, selling the next Tranche of $ 6 Trillion of new and roll-over debt, without printing Weimar Money, is going to require a miracle.

First off parliament is full of politicians … these are mainly photogenic people who were too lazy to sell used cars and didn’t have the academic chops to pass the realtor exams. Their expertise tend to be in hair products and teeth whitners not history.
Second the average Canadian who doesn’t have in interest in history and gets their information from the internet believes Nazi’s and Communists are basically the same thing and communism is a jewish thing so at heart nazi’s and jews are the same thing. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria could have relied on that as well.
But what use is it?
These countries could have been partners, friends, etc., too.
But exceptionalists?
That is the same league as “Aryans”.
The problem starts in the USA, the social system. And it will be stopped by other countries (self-preservation instinct), or the USA will have to expand inward at some point.
Look how the USA does s handling partners, like germany!
Which sane would be interested in similiar experiences?

Whats gone wrong with the Canadians? well it started i believe just after the War when the British sent what was left of the Ukrainian 14th Galizien SS to settle in Canada, then you had the Cow Freeland who had connections with the scum, not sure what the Canadian WW2 vets that are still alive think about it, in 1944 after D-Day some Canadian POWs were murdered by the 12th SS Hitler Jugend Div Kurt Meyer was the commander, they murdered the men one at a time with a bullet in the back of the head in the grounds of a Abbey, there was at least one report of a beheading, that is the filth the West supports.

FWIW:
Finally, I come back to the news item I mentioned yesterday on Russians finding the crew of a Leopard tank they destroyed in the battlefield this past week to have been regular Bundeswehr servicemen. My colleague in Germany informs me that as of today there has not been a word about this in Germany. However, there soon will be. From the unofficial news portals in Russia, I see that the Kremlin has every intention of bringing this scandal to the attention of the broad German public in the hope that it will touch off popular demonstrations against Scholz. Time will tell..

Remember, what ursula did is systemic. Remember the g7 at hiroshima? There was no apology from biden. And i could be wrong, since i only watched that farce halfheatedly, so correct me if im wrong, but i do not remember them saying anything that would link the bombs to the usa.
You talk about it, but slowly stop mentioning who did it, and then bring in a little hint here or there that it was someone else, like someone that threatens to do it again, as ursula puts it. Slowly over time change the culprit, and in one or two generations, thanks to censoring anything that goes against the narrative, the population begins to believe.
That new digital censoring law from the eu comes just in time. Pure coincidence of course.
And didnt the eu also adopt something a year or two ago about the ussr starting ww2 and russia doing the intentional draught to kill ukrainians (while ignoring all the other casualties?)?
Narrative management, pure evil. And the population swallows it all.
